hii im suuper late to my own week ik (i'll post the rest of the days from time to time, college applications were a pain </3 but i've got most of it down

This piece is a redraw of my very first post ! This has been a wip since the start of the year so my art style unsurprisingly changed a bunch as i tweaked the lines and colors. it's not the best but it's looking as good as it can be!

as for the zine, people are free to draw up pieces for the week up until the end of september and we can compile it all together! it's not really the usual zine format but who knows.. we can maybe try to figure out a way to formally start a more structured zine project for these two

Anyway! I've decided to dedicate my greenflower week posts to my headcanons I've made up for them from the past 4 years.. I figured you guys could take a peek into my brain since I haven't really been good at that unless you catch me in a vc :") there's a buncha hcs and old ass art i never posted finally unearthing under the cut if you wanna take a peek

So, first thing: Body headcanons..

i took super long getting what i want with this waay back when I started posting cause I was still figuring out a lot with my art. i couldn't get in good details/features that would properly differentiate them or make them fun to draw. I wasn't striving to be really innovative with the designs or anything, I just wanted them to feel like characters I like looking at and thinking about

finally, i'm somewhat able to settle on these as of right now! It will most likely update as the time passes and my art changes, but this is what I got!

basically the main idea is that i wanted Lloyd to be bulkier but sharper. grew up fast and has all these edges, but then you get to know him and he's just a big ol dork. Mostly wears loose-fitting clothes that hides his figure, but he's quite built underneath

Brad's a lil taller and pretty lanky. my art style may not be able to show that properly but lloyd can snap him in half <3 he also seems hella chill but that's probably cause he got balls of steel after living through a million ninjago invasions

This thing below is an old outfit concept I have for a project that I've been working on. does not reflect my current headcanons with his physical appearance but i do like his clothes

I think he loves his role as the green ninja, saving the world and such. it came with lots of baggage and reflection but i do promise that he enjoys it for the most part. I think him wearing green is kind of like wearing work clothes so he tends to avoid it on days when he's free to keep from being too ready to jump into ninja mode

i do tend to keep him in green though cause the fandom sure does love their color-coded ninja

anyway .. that's about most of what i've got for this that looks good enough to post, so here's a bunch of other doodles/sketches, both old and new ToT

how to build a chair........... director's cut ∠( ᐛ 」∠)__ this is about to be a very long very self-indulgent post where i just talk about my own writing. i also doodled on all the pages i think it makes the whole thing more fun to go thru. welcome to my ted talk

SIKE before i begin. credit where credit is due, this post was the start of it all. it changed my brain chemistry my jaw was dropped i was in awe i was obsessed and before i even finished it i knew that i would eventually have to make something similar for the commander or else i would be cursed to think about it for the rest of my life. and i Was cursed for like two years every day i would just be like........ is today the day i sit down and draft the commander chair fic of my dreams....... maybe tomorrow......

and then i got accepted as a writer for the gw2 zine ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ the chair idea was actually my backup option in case my first idea didn't pan out, and thank god it didn't, bc this one worked so much better. (still working on my initial idea, just turning it into a full fic! it was wayyy too long to be a zine submission.)

this is the chair i used. i downloaded the assembly instructions and tried out a bunch of different free pdf editors until i found one i liked, which ended up being sedja. if anyone's interested in doing something like this, i recommend printing out the pdf and writing directly on it! it was a lot easier for me to just figure out everything on paper first and then digitalize it after :P here's a picture of my physical copy

okay actually getting into it for real this time !!!!!

1. yeah i could've just erased the ikea logo and left a blank space but then i realized i could turn it into an in-universe joke. and then i ran with it.

4. if your commander willingly goes to therapy i'm happy for them but TO ME? you'd have to drag the commander kicking and screaming. it's not that they don't know that something is wrong with them, they know, and they know YOU know. you're just never supposed to talk about it. they don't look at their own psych eval results bc that's none of their business.

5. i normally avoid specifying the commander's race when i write them bc i enjoy the challenge, but for the zine i was assigned to write about a norn commander! as a human main i was uhhhh very ill-equipped. but that just meant i had to study up on my norn lore (•̀ᴗ•́)و i spent hours on the wiki, then went around interviewing norn mains for their opinions, which was great fun :D it all helped me narrow the focus of my piece: joining the war on commander objectification on the side of commander objectification (ㅅ´ ˘ `)♡ and no one self-aggrandizes quite like the norn commander!

and to balance that i knew my narrator had to be patronizing as shitttt. they've clearly been following the commander since the beginning and seem to know a lot of intimate details about their life, despite not thinking very highly of them. wonder who that could be :3c

6. i can't stop making references. so the original part number is actually #122620 in the manual but i've changed it here (and on the previous page!) to #082812, as in 08/28/12, the date gw2 was released! no real reason for it, @dalennaugw suggested it for funsies and i liked it. if you're my pal and i show you a wip and you have a cool idea for it, chances are i Will put that shit in. hi dale if you're reading this

7. another thing about me. i loveeee repetition. here the word "over" is repeated four times to match the picture. honestly a lot of the creative process for this piece was just staring at the pages and figuring out how to tie the pictures to the commander in ways that weren't extremely corny or trite. idk why i enjoy writing like this when i could be frolicking in the beautiful prosaic meadows of a word doc instead but. it's like i see a tiny little restrictive box and i'm like OH BOY can't wait to think inside of that thing!!! i like when the format matters just as much as the content and in some cases informs the content. am i making any sense here. well all you need to know is that i'm a virgo and my favorite book is house of leaves

7. aw fuck just realized i wrote 7 twice. whatever i'm not changing it this is 7 part two now. the theme of my piece is glory, what it means to the norn commander, and how far they're willing to go for it.

8. does norn culture place emphasis on seeking individual glory Yes are norn also very community-oriented Also Yes. i think it's common to see norn kids napping together in a big pile, usually after they've worn themselves out playing games outside. it makes sense practically (apes together warm) and socially (pack bonding good) but that's just my hc. growing up i used to share a bed with my cousins all the time so it's normal to me.

a young, naive not-yet-commander, with no real combat experience, has no point of reference to compare a "blaze of glory" to. but the way everyone talks about it, it must be a good thing. a wonderful thing. a reward fit for a life well-fought and a legend hard-earned. so they imagine it must feel like falling asleep surrounded by the people they love, who love them in turn.

9. .........i was playing a lot of ace attorney when i wrote this page. i wish i was joking 👍🏼

10. ohhh shit the truth come OUT this whole chair thing was all a ploy just so i could write about the departing. again.

11. out of all the pages, this one has the most emphasis on text placement, like comparing the enlarged picture of the screw to a sword, the numbers counting the screws, and "up up up" being arranged to mimic a wisp of smoke.

i also wanted to lean into the viking/norse mythology influences with my word choice.

12. more nods to norn culture. i didn't know they referred to the six human gods as "spirits of action" until i was doing the research for this piece :O

and the domain of the lost is called a hall of ghosts....... cause valhalla.....

15. haha get it because the picture makes it look like there are two mirrored speech bubbles while the text paints two opposing interpretations of the norn commander. one that's selfless and humble versus one that's selfish and vainglorious.

16. and the best part is IT DOESN'T MATTER which one is true bc at the end of the day no matter what their motivation, balthazar is dead by their hand. ofc i'm of the opinion that the most compelling interpretation of the commander is both, simultaneously. contradictions are good for the soul.

17. i could've name-dropped kas, the only person present that would do something like that, but i felt it was better to leave it ambiguous.

18. low-hanging fruit. the metaphor was so obvious here but i had to do it. for the culture

19. the alternate title for this piece was "THIS COULD BE GLORY". "how to build a chair" was only supposed to be a placeholder title til i figured out a better one, but the innocuousness of it grew on me. also i came up with the other one too late and had already advertised under the chair title lol

20. my first instinct was to end it with something more reassuring, like "what you have built so far is enough" but that would've been an ooc switch-up for a narrator who has been nothing but snide and detached this whole time. gotta stick to my guns

obligatory chair joke as the last line. for realsies though it’s meant to be an earnest appeal to the commander to take a break, to have a seat, but it’s also a challenge. are they willing to lean on their friends? are the bonds they’ve forged strong enough to hold their weight? are they willing to put their faith in someone else’s hands? are they brave enough to try? well. only one way to find out.

also guess what that wasn’t even the real last page of the manual. it's THIS

but no way i was letting this be the image we ended on. IT LOOKS LIKE A DICK AND BALLS!!!

and on that note, THANK YOU if you made it this far!! a very special shout-out to @hawkepockets, my lovely boyfriend and beta reader, without whom this piece would not be nearly as polished. i would bring him pages to look over and he would say Scrap half of those lines you can do better than that. kill your darlings. i would complain and argue for a few minutes then we would revise. rinse and repeat until we had honed this thing to perfection. i can't stress enough the importance of having a second pair of eyes on your work throughout your creative process, even better if it's someone who challenges you. i don't even pay him 🫶🏼

You might be wondering 'what is Johan Week'? It's a week celebrating my original character not only in his ACOTAR iteration, but in so many other universes that I have plugged him in. There is only one moderator for this week, and one expected participant — both of them are me, @highlordofkrypton!

Anyone is welcome to participate. There are prompts below, just make sure to tag @bloodyjohan so I can reblog it here and use the tag #johan week 2025 and #nyx johannes archeron (even though he isn't always Nyx, that's just where all his content is now!). It's meant to be silly, self-indulgent and all around fun.

Before being introduced as Nyx in cosmogeny, Johan has existed for decades both in my mind and in different AUs either in WIPs or RPs. This event will cover the multiverse of Johan, and different iterations which is why the prompts are so large!

DAY 1: JOHAN'S YOUTH

Johan's childhood is more or less the same in all universes with slight differences that make his life better or worse. In the ACOTAR universe, he was raised by absent parents. In the PACRIM universe, he was adopted by two loving fathers. In the WITCHER universe, he was taken and remade by the Viper School. Despite these differences, Johan's demons and afflictions follow him everywhere.

DAY 2: JOHAN AUs & HEADCANONS

Let's put this guy in situations. You know those moments where you have scenarios, or universes that you haven't quite fleshed out yet? (Hello, Teacher!Johan x Student!Tamlin AU~) What about the headcanons that are weaved into the story, but you just wanna put it in black and white on the page? I've got a ton of those!

I'm also inviting anyone who wants to participate in the week to send me an assumption about Johan and I will confirm/deny it!

DAY 3: JOHAN ART, MEMES & CHARACTER SHEETS

The tricky thing about OCs is that you need to make or commission the art you want to see of your character! I've got a bunch of work done for him, and I want to keep them all in the same place: this blog! (I'm might even try to have more done as a treat for me to me.) The same goes for silly character sheets I've filled out... and I'm might drop some new ones of my own making for you guys to fill out. Don't even get me started on memes...

DAY 4: JOHAN X READER

This is a gift from me to everyone who enjoys Johan! It will probably take me months to write the one Johan x Reader, and will be the treat of the day for you all. A little palate cleanser and break between all the content.

DAY 5: YOU OR YOUR CHARACTERS MEET JOHAN

ORIGINAL CHARACTER HAVERS, RISE UP! There's quite a few people who have OCs who know Johan, so I think it would be fun to have a day to focus on those interactions. They can be headcanons, discussions, or even building up situations with him. Please remember, Johan is a grumpy and extremely jealous guy. He will bite and take a chunk off...

DAY 6: JOHAN REQUESTS

A few months before the event, I will make a post encouraging everyone to send requests of what they would like to see in terms of Johan content. You can send asks at any time, but I'll do my best to keep full-length writing (or my really ugly doodles) for this day! Maybe I'll respond sooner as teasers for the week, hihi 🤭

DAY 7: FREE DAY

I don't know what happens here. Tears of joy? Gratitude for anyone who participates or hangs around for this nonsense? Finishing up fics that I wasn't able to? It'll be a surprise to me and you!

some little notes about some of these:

the sixth one is from that one scene where failboat asks chat who their favorite is. i like to imagine they just say every character's name at once.

sooo about the eighth one: i've always associated rose and pirahnyawn with cicada days... just feels very them to me. (also my dnd oc meglan is there too. idk why.)

the twelth one is an in the foreground reference because i've been reading it recently (took a little break from reading it though, i'm like 42-ish chapters in)

sorry I haven't posted in a while,, my classes have got me busy and exhausted so I haven't had much to post about :( but since spring break is this week, hopefully I'll be able to finish up the Mitt-Beta comic(i've only got the coloring to do so finger crossed X3)!! ALSO!! don't think I've mentioned it but I'm planning on doing a remake of the Tribbles's neighbor sheets in April/May!! My artstyle for them (and in general) has change a lot and I want to remake their first appearance around the 1 year mark :D!! I may or maynot be able to get them done by the exact 1 yr mark, but I'll try my best!!

2024 vs. 2025

Selena is my Viet NB KHR OC. A soft and gentle person with a modest personality. Calm and aloof, but will open up more around people she's comfortable with. Gets rambly when talking about her interest in plants and fashion.

Likes fashion, historical fashion, and collecting traditional clothes, cute and pretty clothes (ex. girly fashion, lolita, etc.), and learning about plants (ex. plants, flowers, poisons, poisonous plants) and collecting them. Has her own personal garden.

As an assassin, she specializes in poison, and has plants that respond to her emotions to assist her in fights. I mainly ship her with Xanxus, the leader of the Varia ❤️💜

I have a lot more to say since I'm very passionate about her, but I will put Selena's info sheet in its own dedicated post.

Started resketching Selena's hair a bit. I'm pretty picky about my art, especially since I want to capture my beloved wife's beauty.

I want Selena's concept art to have a clearer silhouette and good shapes. I'll eventually redraw the rest of it, but I started with the hair for now.

I want Selena to have those wavy strands on the side. Looks very cute!

I had the lines as the 2nd one I was worried the 2 curls near her two front long strands would be hard to replicate, so I think these recent doodles are closer to what I wanted. I'll sketch a bunch, and pick the one I like most!

Also cuz I always imagined Selena to have a back of random hair strands in the back so I wanted to make space for that. I want her hair to be perfectly fluffy looking...

Magi: Judar wearing hanfu 🖤❤️🐈‍⬛ Magi: JuAli x Unfriendly Hater

In my HCs, Judar wears a type of hanfu called Ruqun (襦裙). Ru (襦) is the cross-collared top of a hanfu, and the wrap-around skirt is called Qun (裙). The coat jacket is called Da Xiu Shan (大袖衫)

I love the expressions on these… I wanna resketch the hair and clothes sometime

I did tentative rain drop earrings for him but it'd be cool if he had gold and red earrings (gold with a red jewel) or snowflake/icicle themed earrings since Judar is an ice magic user

The 1st one I wanna use as a ref sheet eventually for my HC design of him in hanfu. I've been preferring to roughly block out the shape of his braids since Ohtaka draws his braids in a very stylized way. Obviously I'm gonna redraw it neater eventually but stylizing it this way honestly makes it way easier to draw.

I was trying to experiment with how I draw his hair. I also drew these which are interesting to see but the first two look the best

The other ones are interesting, but I think the 1st one captures the vibes more. I think I like the OG best but I'll be incorporating aspects from the others when I refine it.

Been redrawing the hair cuz I wanna settle on a hair shape I like.

I got recommendations to sketch via silhouettes first. It has interesting results :o

I got reminded that some people use lasso tool for quickly blocking in shapes so I tried that. I'll play around with it more sometime, but I like the clearer shapes.

I tend to get caught up in smaller details and always try to see if I can improve on my previous versions, and I like redrawing for fun

I still like the first one too ^^ Sketching with silhouettes was a nice change of pace, I should try it more often.

I like how spiky the hair looks in the 1st one. I think it fits the best.

I'm planning for the 1st one to be a concept art ref sheet. I wanna commission arts of JuAli with my headcanon designs eventually, so I wanna have clean refs available.

Planning to add ice and snowflake patterns on his hanfu, and possibly a Chinese ice dragon.

I wanna give him icicle or snowflake shaped earrings!

For both Selena and Judar, I sketched a lot more than what I posted. I just picked out the ones that looked the best to me.

I think the 1st one looks the best and has the best silhouette, so I decided to go with that. The others look cute too though!

I am also planning to draw JuAli soon, both in my usual style and in my recent chibi/cartoony style!

KagePro: Kuroha/Saeru wearing Viet traditional clothes (2024) 🖤💛🐍

I originally sketched this in October.

Haven't drawn his clothes yet but I plan to make him wear Viet clothes…

Something something I feel like doing a Kuroha/Saeru MR2 (Manga Route 2) redesign with more influence from traditional clothes (including Viet traditional clothes). WIP for now since I've been busy with school. I haven't drawn clothes on him yet.

I think I will resketch Saeru's pose in the 1st one eventually. I originally drew it in October. I'm planning for this doodle to be Kuroha/Saeru wearing Viet traditional clothes.

Cuz I fuck with everything on this design EXCEPT for the canon design's crop top. I love the black snake scales on his face, the cute little tufts of hair and black horns, the braid in the back that looks like a scorpion's tail like Judar's, red sclera and red gradient limbs, and the white sash with bloodstains on it.

Since Azami is Saeru's creator, I'll be incorporating more of Azami's traditional clothes inspired outfit onto his design~ Since the slit in Azami's outfit also reminds me of some Viet traditional clothes like Áo dài ("Long dress")

Pretty indecisive how I want to draw his hair, but I settled on the 1st one since it looked the best to me.

It has better weight to them and I like the roundness + spikes combined. The pose is tentative for now too

I'm planning to draw both the normal form and MR2 (Manga Route 2) form with this outfit.

I haven't decided how I want to draw the MR2 version hair yet

I'm gonna redraw Saeru's MR2 (Manga Route 2) version's hair at some point.

I love both of Saeru's forms, but I still need to get good at drawing it.

I feel like I'm MUCH better at drawing the usual Black Konoha form

I love Saeru with black painted nails HC~ It just feels so natural 😌

I think in MR2 Saeru's design, the horns are blunt to match the shape of Black Konoha's usual headphones.

I think MR2 Saeru with black pointy horns looks cute! I like how it evokes a devil's image.

Fits him since villains are usually designed with pointy shapes and sharp shape language since it evokes a feeling of danger.

Though it'd be fun to play around with the shapes of his horns!

KagePro: Femme Kuroha/Saeru (2025) 🖤💛🐍

I drew my buff NB genderfluid Saeru HC!

I like thinking of femme Saeru having rather messy hair and a long ponytail in the back that's wavy like a snake shape…

I didn't want her hair to look too round so I kept the usual bangs, but made her hair messy.

I tried re-imagining my buff NB genderfluid Kuroha/Saeru HC!

It's my HC design of femme Saeru

I drew the bottom one much quicker so it's not as refined but it gets the idea down

Since Kuroha/Saeru can use Awakening Eyes to change his body to whatever he pleases, and is able to rebuild its body completely, I imagine Saeru switches between genders and has a fluid sense of self. Though he has a certain affinity to being masc-aligned. Mainly presents as masc.

Most femme Saeru fan designs I see have her as more cutesy femme with a skirt, but I wanted her to have a more ikemen look and still look really menacing and dangerous.

My friend Feila said they think it fits genderfluid femme Saeru to be more androgynous and still wear the usual clothes with the pants and boots

KagePro: KuroEne 🖤💙🐍🐇 Like a snake possessive over its gold. 🐍🐇🍎💛

So my idea was KuroEne with Ene with artistic/barbie doll esque nudity after she first gained her cyber body and snake mark texture imprints inspired off the X-ray arts by Sidu.

And I wanted to a cut-in shot of draw Kuroha/Saeru biting into a golden apple which symbolizes immortality 🍎💛

I think it’s interesting cuz this kind of piece would also convey Kuroha/Saeru’s obsessiveness and possessiveness as a character. Both over what he doesn’t want to let go at all costs (pseudo immortality), and his S/O.

I also like to think of it as Kuroha/Saeru leaving his marks on his S/O throughout the time loops with how he keeps memories of past Routes (timelines)

I haven't drawn Kuroha yet, so I just drew Ene for now in a more chibi esque style. Might play around with the brushes...

Been thinking of a potential KuroEne art piece with Ene with artistic nudity/Barbie doll esque nudity where it's Ene right after she gained her cyber body with snake scale marks/texture imprints on her body (on her thighs and wrists, etc.) and in the background shot is a side profile shot of Kuroha/Saeru holding and biting into a golden apple

I was inspired by the concept of using an “X-ray to see fingerprints” 🩻

And the bite marks too... Hehehehe

I'm kinda surprised that he's one of the easiest charas for me to draw of my meow meow mf faves to draw despite the spiky hair. He and Kuroha/Saeru are the easiest for me

Think it's cuz I finally settled on a hair shape for him that's easily readable, has a recognizable shape. Bigger shapes are generally easier to read. I love the thin spikes at the top/bottom, and the big wide spikes in the middle. Creates nice visual contrast.

Just scribbled the clothes for now cuz my main concern is making the face look nice first. I will resketch the hair later

I've been cycling back into my SK: HaoRen AU lately because I miss them... Hao and Ren are my top fave SK charas. HaoRen is my fave SK ship 😌❤️💜 I also love HoroRen and RenMei too! 💗

Quickly redrew an old doodle. I'm trying to get used to drawing SK charas in my style... I wanted to draw that one scene of Hao telling Ren, "But one day, you'll be mine..."

I wanna draw HaoRen in both my usual style and cartoony style.

I'm usually into Protagonist/Antagonist ships (as long as they have interesting compelling dynamics and make sense) cuz I always tend to prefer ships with more contrast (and cuz 2 meow meow mfs together usually tend to clash in unappealing ways imo)

I always go for Evil Meow Meow Mf x Soft empathetic S/O with a brighter disposition (ex. LimGuda (FGO), JuAli (Magi), XanLena (KHR AU), KuroEne (KagePro), IdaTatsu (WATGBS AU))

However... HaoRen is so tasty.

HaoRen, a ship between 2 meow meow mfs, is the perfect rare pair ship in SK for me between my top fave characters, so it is my fave SK ship. It is extremely Sen-core.

I just drew over an SS of the original Additional Memory MV by Sidu cuz I didn't want to draw the Engine Room, etc.

The song is morbid and has such repressed yearning/longing, I think is so fitting for Akechi.

I assume Sidu is using Blender + Ad*be After Effects (or something similarly powerful) to do the 3D effects with the moving desks and Chrysanthemums (Kiku)

Something about the way these charas will let themselves be sacrificed (ie. Akechi in Shido's Palace in P5) for the sake of a loved one...

Also, Akechi has brown/red-toned eyes and is also associated with the colour RED like Ayano.

It fits Akechi well. You could also include the subtle AkeShu (Akechi/Joker) in it...

After the Shadow Virus was over, after Ames tried and failed to take over her sister's body and the world, after Mephiles discovered both his daughters were technically still alive, after his actions indirectly pushed them into the hardest moments of their lives, after everything, Crystal still couldn't stop herself from running into her dad's arms after their fight. And the words were right there, but none of them could say them.

But they still felt them.

Sorry if it's kinda shit, i haven't drawn Ames in over a year, and i haven't drawn Crys in a hot minute either. I also think my artstyle's changing again, and i wish it would stop that, but it happens. It's also like, almost 3 am and i drew this without even putting my glasses on. It's been a really hard week, and my session yesterday was pretty difficult. I got home and passed out, but then woke up tonight and couldn't go back to sleep, so i figured I'd go ahead and get this off my chest.

It's been really hard to hold myself together these past few weeks. And every project I've been teasing lately, i need to push it back. They'll happen when they happen, I'm tired of fighting them when i can barely function. So, i don't know when those'll happen. I'm just really tired. The biggest hurdle has been, my brain has been wanting to just give up drawing permanently, for a while now. Every day its like, well what if i just... stop. Yanno? My upload schedule is already nonexistent, it's not like it'll be missed, but at the same time it's difficult to put my au to rest. So i don't know what to do, and I've already promised so much stuff to come out to a bunch of my friends, and i just can't get myself to finish any of it rn, and i don't know why. I'm so so so sorry. Specifically to @jadedazemations , i still really wanna draw your boys, and I'm so sorry i haven't been able to contribute to the crossover myself when your doodles have been so cool and i think about them all the time and our convos about them have meant everything to me and continue to do so, and i can't get myself to match your pace and I'm so so so so sorry if ever i made you feel unappreciated or like you were doing so much work for so little in return.

I'm not scrapping the wips, of course, cause i know I'll be able to get back to them at some point, and most of them are like 60% done lineart wise, if not partially colored already, so it's likely I'll finish them someday, i just don't know when, and i know that's super disappointing to hear and I'm so sorry for everyone waiting so patiently for them. I'm so sorry, you guys are my entire world and i feel like i give you all so little in return for all the happiness you give me.

DR st A folder with a bunch of wips for the I've seen you fic. Doflamingo finds slave Rosinante in the Human Auctioning House on Sabaody. He takes care of him and basically decides to wage war on the whole slave market. Cora & Doffy & Donquixote Family, rated T for the topic it circles around, multi-chap + series.

DR - Ghibli - Sen to Chihiro Doffy & Cora x Spirited Away crossover. The brothers are tossed into the Spirit Realm and meet Yubaba sisters. Oneshot.

KSxDR - prologue Not a prologue anymore xd A wip document for the Through the End fic. Doffy & Cora x Blood Blockade Battlefront crossover, multi-chap.

A Battle of Will Corazón-centered, CoraFest wip, multi-chap. Corazón, for some reason, tries to quit smoking, this time for good. The Family has a lot of fun with this.

Pralnia Tsuru - spinoff (translation: Tsuru's Laundry Room - spinoff) Tsuru & Cora & Doffy fic, centered around and exploring Tsuru’s powers, how they can affect people and possibly change DQ brothers’ story. Two chapters, the first one focused on Tsuru and Corazón, the second one on Tsuru’s powers and Doflamingo.

Helloo! You can call me Mena, Local, or Philomena. I'm a small artist trying to get bigger on social media. I try to make art as often as possible, but am unfortunately under the WIP curse, as I start things I don't often finish. ;u; I'm still fairly new to digital art, and am still experimenting with techniques, so be mindful of that!

I've done traditional art since I was around 8 years old, and I think I've gotten quite skilled at it!

oh god so. I haven't updated it in two years because I got really burnt out by going on an updating spree while I was out of my mind fever dreaming with covid, and it's for an extremely tiny fandom for a manhwa which is really just an excuse for angsty lesbian omegaverse matriarchy in pretty traditional korean clothing. it's. i cannot recommend it without listing a bunch of trigger tags but the characters really fucking got me. im a sucker for a good plucky protagonist. anyways i set about to fix the love triangle with polyamory, as i am wont to do. now that i have given my here be dragons spiel, here it is: like a shadow loves the light

I was in no way prepared for the outpouring of love that fic has received, but that's what happens when you write something for a fandom that (at the time) had only one (1) page on ao3. it's terribly self-indulgent and I have a fantastic time every time I work on it, and I think it shows.

-9- How did you get into writing fanfiction?

there was a brief stint in middle school where i would toy with writing fanfiction for things like hp or the various magical girl anime i was obsessed with, and, despite knowing the existence of ffn, believed i was doing something terribly new and cool. none of those things were ever actually written, much less posted. i just doodled for them.

ANYWAYS, the real answer here is i, at 16, got sixteen year old lesbian socked SO HARD in the gut by Star Wars: The Old Republic's Light Side Jaesa Willsaam storyline that I went looking for fanfiction for her and found explicit femslash (big no no for innocent mormon teenager!) for her written by my now-internet-auntie/mum/mentor wrote and realized i was gay. I started engaging with the swtor and kotor fandoms and making my own shit for my ocs for funsies. this got me two significant others and one spouse as well as most of my mutuals here on tumblr.hell.

FINALLY Introducing : Sonic Emerald Guardians AU

SO. I've never actually shown this outside of discord yet. I said I'd post everything about it in April 2022... and then I didn't and it's now July 2023 so it's high time I followed through !! Nothing about it is finished yet, and it's my first big public project so please be nice ?

Yes, so what's it actually about ?

Well to be concise, it's the whole game series but rewritten with new laws to the world and a consistent canon ! ( yes, quite the endeavor ) What's chaos energy ? What are rings ? Inhibitor rings ? Deities ? How do the characters' powers work ? All that good stuff.

That's pretty much it really, basically I'm trying to flesh out the worldbuilding to overthinking limits.

Telling you right now : the bulk of the work I've done on it so far is character design explorations and a currently 17 pages-long google doc with all the lore ( and it's nowhere near done ), with on the side some short drabbles and a wip timeline mind map.

The end goal is to make this a sort of abstract fancomic, spanning about one game per issue maybe ? We'll see. In the meantime I'm working on more character designs, and thinking about their stories and stuff.

Hopefully you guys enjoy whatever this is !

Theres a lot I dont post to Tumblr and even more that I don't post to Instagram. I usually share with discord though. I've thought about making a big post of those at some point.

Wips that I haven't shared, though, I got a whole folder of animations I probably will never finish. I have a bunch of half-done animatics as well. Maybe one day I'll go back and share what I did get done

A lot of my traditional art, though, I rarely share anymore. I have a lot of Lonely Leo doodles that I've done traditionally that I haven't shared as well as comic/au ideas that never go anywhere

I had a whole animatic planned that I was doing traditionally with watercolour that I never finished lol. If I can find the papers maybe I'll edit together what I did get done (it was Snufkin-centric, though)

My notes app also homes a lot of ideas or concepts that never really go anywhere

1. IbisPaintX, honestly it was my first art program I ever actually used but now I'm FireAlpaca's bitch.

2.Oooh I personally really enjoy/have an easier time drawing front facing characters, profiles are so darn difficult.

3. Big bright and noticeable eyeshines i guess! Always been a thing for me, so my characters always have extra bright eyes. Or i guess eyes in general are a thing I kept from my kiddie days.

4. Crystaline stuff and MAGIC. I love them both so much but god can I not draw them for the life of me. And hair! But hair i'm starting to figure out!

5. Now that I think about it's pretty darn close id I do say so myself! Like 40 to 45% i post online (mostly on discord) and then 55 to 60% i keep to myself!

6. When I draw cats it's a lot of inspo from different warrior cats fandom big names but in general anime is my big inspo!

7.Traditional painting! I tried painting and it's just not for me but I love the way it looks and how many thing people can do with it!

8. God the amount of stories and characters that I've just left as wips in immense. I have adhd, can't finish stuff for shit.

9. Usually if it's one character it's 'character name' and then you add a number or a descriptor (aka smile or smth). Otherwise it's just like 2 or 3 words of what the drawing is. And then I group those in like 'finished art' 'wips' etc!

10.Ooh tough one. I do enjoy drawing poofy sleeved shirts or like long flowy dresses/skirts.

11.Ranges from romance music playlists to true crime and everything in between! I just need a background noise honestly. Doesn't really matter what the noise is.

12. Face. I draw floating heads on the regular.

13. Junji Ito. His style is just so freakin' interesting and his grasp on anatomy is just amazing! But, personally I'm not the biggest horror/gore fan so I don't actually read his stuff. I just find his art nifty when I see it.

14.Polkadots or stripes. Love that stuff.

15.In my room personally but I used to go out to parks and draw there when I was younger.

16.Lineart. everyone is always sayin' stuff like 'Wow your lines are so nice and clean' and while I do agree that it's one of my strengths personally my lineart always looks rigid and wrong to me. I tend to prefer my sketches and nowadays I usally clean those up and use 'em as the lineart.

17.Nope. i completely forget that my body has bodily functions when i draw. I get invested X3

18.Not many! Honestly it's less that I break them on purpose and more that I'm clumsy and drop stuff all the time but on the regular I try my best not to break stuff.

19.Flowers and bushes!

20. Armor of any kind, love me some shiny metals and belts and buckles.

21. I really like the disney style (both 2d and 3d) and I'm really a big fan of 3d animation in anime (studio orange with Trigun Stampede and Land of the Lustrous have my heart)

23.I use so many layers and so many of them are multiply and add it's not even funny.

24.Yes. stock images are really good for poses and stuff. I often makes collages of multiple of them to get what I want exactly.

27.I draw a bunch of circles. And sometimes doodle like different body parts or sonas of mine loosely.

28.I participated in the artfight of 2023! It was a good time.

29.live action tv shows and just non-animated movies/stuff in general! I can write fanfic wips for days but drawing them? Nah.

30.hmmm can't think of any? I probably have one or two that I wish got more attention but usually the attention my art gets is pretty on par with what I' expecting!
