Your art style kinda reminds me of Shaman King art style and huh it's a compliment but I just don't know how to express myself in front of mortals-

-The eldritch monster from that one flower pot

I never actually watched Shaman King growing up so i had to google it and i guess i kind of see it?

However you're totally right in the sense that my art style definitely was heavily influenced by anime!

Dragonball Z, Naruto and Trigun especially had a hold on my soul in middle school.

Anyways while looking at the Shaman king characters online I found a character that looked so early 2000's anime edgy that I just had to draw him :

Shaman King AU where Yoh and Hao run a cat cafe

AU details under the cut

Yoh and Hao are twins that moved to Tokyo and started a cat cafe since they both love cats.

All cats are adopted from shelters.

Anna helps manage the business and keep track of finance.

Manta comes to the cat cafe to relax from work and chat with Yoh. Sometimes he helps Anna with the business-side of things.

Ryu is the chef for the cafe and also helps care for the cats.

Faust and Eliza run a private health clinic that treats both humans and animals. They drop by and check on the cats every now and then.

Cats from left to right: Lyserg -Rescued from a burning house then brought to a shelter. -Generally very sweet and gentle however he is aggressively violent towards anyone that smells like smoke. -Initially attacked Ryu (because he smokes) but once Ryu stopped smoking, Lyserg has been fine with him. -Is the best mannered cat in the cafe. -Anna dresses him up sometimes to raise his cuteness factor so people will leave tips. -His favorite toys are dangle-y string toys. Joco -Brought to the shelter after his owners were murdered in a home invasion. -Very playful and friendly. He loves making humans laugh so he'll do silly things intentionally. -He is blind so cafe guests have to announce their presence verbally before they interact with him so they don't scare him. -Joco and Horohoro end up in goofy scenarios to the humans' amusement. -Anna dresses him up too because he allows the costumes. -His favorite toys are any with bells or that crinkle.

Ren -Rescued after his previous owners were found to be abusive. -As a result, he started off very aggressive towards Yoh, Hao, and Anna. -After a lot of patient work from Yoh, Ren is now more mellow and a great sitting buddy. -He's still generally wary of humans though so he spends most of his time in the cafe perched high up. -Doesn't really play with toys.

Horohoro -Rescued from drowning next to a dam. -Very volatile personality that swings wildly between playful and standoffish. -Has food aggression and will steal food from the other cats. -The loudest most vocal cat of the group. -Initiates play-fights with the other cats (especially Ren). -Loves sliding on the wooden floors.
