so, the lovely @luthienmpl was very kind and gave me a daouoffroad starter pack so i'm gonna learn about them!

i adore finding out about something this way because it's like someone shared their love of The Thing with me! how lovely! how lucky to catch a glimpse of how much joy The Thing gives someone else!!

little announcement!

so!!! i've announced this earlier on twt, but you guys probably have already noticed that i haven't been posting much COD as of late, and i just wanna formally announce that i'm gonna limit drawing personal COD art for now (if not stopping fully)

my main reason is because i've been very peeved with how certain people within the fandom interact online- especially the past few months. to clarify: my frustrations with this issue have been building up for months and this decision wasn't made on the spur-of-the-moment.

and earlier today, i learned a very recent issue within the fandom here and i've finally reached my breaking point.

regardless!! i still love the COD characters and the great people i've met through it! but yeah, i genuinely need a break from it. so i really hope you guys would understand. thank you!!!

So the fight is really over...my glorious four armed giant spider is gone. Yuji really was foreshadowing about the slime thingy heh. I'm so happy to see the trio back and together again like you tell me this a year ago this is what was going to happen and I'd just give you a maniacal laugh. But I still don't know how to feel about Sukuna's end like we all knew he was going to die and in perspective it does feels satisfying. Sukuna being ripped apart from Megumi and his little convo with Megumi...yeah dude really is walking contradiction. Always saying he's living to die but actually doesn't want to die. Indirectly answering Kashimo's question. But his end just seems...eh? Like at first Kenjaku's end seemed like that to me too but it made sense later on. Kenjaku came in silence and went like that but Sukuna he was never like Kenjaku or Mahito so his ending being parallel to Mahito didn't really sit right with me and i actually wanted him to get anything but a glorious death but this feels...stale somehow? Idk he's still the same untrue to himself. Wish we could get more of his thought process. Or maybe this was it to show Sukuna's denial became his defeat. I just hoped for more emotionally charged defeat of his..but it's GeGe story I'm happy they're telling it like they want to.

Also Uraume and Hakari was funny too they fought all this time bonded, praised and just dipped. Makes me think if they had a binding vow with Sukuna too? Sorry for all the yap and incoherence. I'm just feeling underwhelmed? Overwhelmed? what are your thoughts regarding this chapter and Suku's end?

anyway thank you for sending me your ask. I really liked reading your thoughts and how you called suku out for being contradictory and a hypocrite till the very end AS YOU SHOULD THANK YOU!! honestly, this fact alone makes the whole chapter all the more special to me but on this in a sec cause I'm guessing the reaction to his demise is quite... well I guess ppl are not really happy with it..??? I mean some of them probably are and by "some" I mean *cough, cough* the haters *cough, cough* but well... I wouldn't know cause ONE I'm actually (and maybe surprisingly) super pleased and satisfied with this chapter and TWO, I didn't go and check others reaction to it lol I'm planning to keep it that way for now. I'm really not a big fan of twt fandoms spaces in fact I can't stand them... too much negativity and toxicity *shudders*.

so my thoughts... to put it simply, I loved it more than loved it actually. and yeah yeah sure he turned into a slimy lil bug which probably put many people off but hey let's not forget sukuna was basically like a parasite possessing megumi's body, so it makes sense that once peeled off only curse-like residues would remain... but I can understand why some stans didn't like that part. I personally found funny but that's just me lol.

and yeah the final seemed quite underwhelming, but I think that's what makes it so good. I didn't want sukuna's death to be the most interesting thing about his character and well it's not. rather than having a big an "after life" moment like jogo, gojo or kashimo, he spent his last moments with the only person who cared about the human sukuna so stubbornly tried to burry inside him.

I actually found his conclusion to be quite beautiful and moving, cause instead of being looked down upon by yuuji as many stans thought would be the case, he was offered something else entirely. something no one ever gave him - kindness and love. yes, I'm using the "L" word here cause in the end that's what it was... yuuji showed sukuna the true value of love. he accepted him and ask him to live with him despite everything sukuna has put him through. despite all the chaos chaos and distraction he caused him, yuuji still accepted him. he not only showed sukuna genuine empathy and compassion but also recognised that sukuna is really... just like him. when yuuji looked into (blop) sukuna's eyes (my beloved) he could only see himself. he realised that under different circumstances, he could've turned out like sukuna if he didn't have his grandpa by his side. he realised that if he could have turned out like sukuna then sukuna could've turned out like him too, that if only sukuna had someone who loved him and guided him and accepted him, he most likely wouldn't have turned into a curse, which is another thing I loved and cry about in this chapter.

sukuna only saw himself as a curse :")). he acknowledged yuuji and finally called him by his full name but in the end he still only think of himself as a "curse" not as human, not even as a god or king of curses but only a curse :")).

the reason why I loved just how "underwhelming" his death felt like is because instead of framing and defining his entire character by his his final moments, gege made the rest of his moments in the manga stand out EVEN MORE. instead of having a moment of reflection and introspection in this chapter as well as in chapter 265 or 266... and oh well entire shinjiku showdown basically, his character started to trip and reveal just how contradictory he is. sukuna claimed he was satisfied with his life and doesn't care about dying, he also claimed he doesn't care about ideals and even despised them, he also claimed he doesn't feel anything and he doesn't need others to satisfy him and then you have all those small moments when you realise "wait, that is not right" and you look back and rethink everything. sukuna does feel and he NEEDS others to satisfy him, cause that's what his entire "philosophy" hinges on.

This is a first. You're the only one who ever forced a role upon me. (while grinning like a maniac)

and then megumi lied his bs out in the open and revealed that sukuna was afraid of death too, despite believing otherwise

Even something like you fears death...

this only goes to show that sukuna convinced himself (and many other readers) that he is not human, that he is above that, that he doesn't care about the things they do... but if even "something like him" feared death, got excited to be given a role, praised and encouraged others for their talents and skills and connected to them in one way another only to "pass time" or knew about flowers and caught a crayfish then that means... he must be human too.

and even if sukuna and the rest of the world couldn't and didn't want to accept that, there was one person who did. someone sukuna hurt the most, someone who saw him at his worst and at his weakest. someone who in the end still decided to show him love, because he belived sukuna is still worthy of love, despite everyone and maybe even sukuna himself, believing that he no longer is worthy of such thing.

Semi related to the "Mayomoff" thing, but I really dislike sometimes how cb twt tries to distance Billy from Wanda. I get it's a way to overcompensate because MCU stans usually have the misconception that Billy and Tommy were raised by Wanda, but the insistence feels icky. By the way these people write about these characters, it would make you believe that Wanda tried to steal baby Billy from Rebecca's arms (anti roma tropes are still super present even in "leftie" fandom spaces).

This has been a thing for years, and I've definitely noticed an uptick recently, from both sides, in response to Billy's imminent arrival in the M C U. I think a lot of comic fans, in particular, have a hard time accepting that characters can be more than one thing, or have more than one important storyline or relationship. Whether or not you find it interesting, Billy's relationship with Wanda is a major part of his story, and both characters care about each other a great deal. If you think you can have one without the other, you've lost the plot.

But if I'm being honest, I do think that racism is a part of the problem. People undervalue Wanda's relationship with her sons because they don't understand the significance and nuances of Romani heritage and identity. They undervalue how meaningful a story about family separation and reunion can be, because they have no investment in our history or generational trauma. I think a lot of folks are not willing to hold the space for those perspectives or learn from Roma voices. When we talk about representation and authenticity, a lot people think they need to understand the interiority of Romani culture, but I think these experiences and historical perspectives are much more important.

On top of that, a lot of people seem to think that acknowledging Wanda as Billy's mother or labeling him as a person of Roma heritage somehow erases other aspects of his identity. In some cases, this is well-intentioned-- Jewish identity can be just as nuanced and specific, and needs to be respected-- but a lot people clearly just feel threatened by the idea that he might not be white. And that's a real shame, because in my mind, Billy's Romani heritage only adds to the richness of the character. Mixed families with varied identities exist, and there several real-world experiences you can map Billy's identity onto without invalidating his Jewishness.

Homophobia and gender anxiety are also important factors. I've been following this character for nearly two decades, and I find that Billy's depiction, and how fans respond to him, often reflect shifting attitudes about "positive" gay representation-- specifically, where femininity, diverse gender expression, and gay cultural semiotics fit into that narrative. [x] [x] The character has always been legible as a certain type of gay guy, and over the years, more writers and artists have taken license to explore that aspect of Billy's style and personality. All told, it's pretty subtle, and since most of those writers are gay/bi men, I usually find it quite authentic, but certain fans-- particularly the Young Avengers fanbase-- always respond negatively to any degree of femininity or androgyny.

Billy's proximity to Wanda-- as a legacy character based on a female hero, and as a man who identifies positively as a "witch," when that word is used with explicitly feminine connotations elsewhere in the Marvel canon-- evokes a lot of those same responses. Again, I think this is a perfectly authentic and frankly very common relationship for gay men to have with femininity. But characters like that are rarely represented as powerful, admirable, or desirable, and Billy is all of those things. To me, that is positive representation, and anyone who can't see that has an internalized bias they need to work on.

On the flip side-- homophobia and transphobia are on the rise in America, and I really think the pendulum has swung back around in terms of how comfortable people are expressing those views in public. I've been more plugged into the M C U fandom lately because of Agatha, and I've seen a lot of folks just saying mean, homophobic things about the actor and character. I don't want to defend Locke, because of the whitewashing, but that sort of hate okay is not okay.

Just because I love young love and coming-of-age stories and cute little stories about kids first crushes

Some things we know: The EGGs aren't related. Not all of them, at least. So it's not immediately weird if the CCs and fandom think their kid might be having a crush.

It has been confirmed many times now. Some of the more concrete ones being when Bagi asked Em when they met if the Egg Island trio were related to the dragon eggs. And she said no.

Weird would be if people shipped the ones that have very explicitly established some familial bond, like Chay and Tallulah for example, or the Breakfast triplets. Pomme and Dapper. They ARE siblings. They adopted eachother as so.

In the last Cucurucho live (Right after the prison escape and button-pressioning) is where we see the actual ralation of the EGGs

So, if we're looking for dna bond or something, the EGGs would be separated as such:

Dragon EGGs: Chayanne, Bobby, Trump, Tilín, Ramón, JuanaFlippa, Dapper and Leonarda

Wall EGGs: Tallulah, Pomme and Hope/Memories

Egg Island EGGs: Empanada, SunnySideUp and Pepito

Wildcard EGGs: Richarlyson and Chun-Sik

So, if the admins would like to explore an Egg's romantic orientation and coming to terms with it, or having a crush on another Egg or so and so. It's A Ok. Like, I was pretty sure Leo was finding a crush on Em. And Pomme now being outed as lesbian. Dapper realizing he might not see anyone this way.

But it's ok to want these kids to find new things about themselves. It's okay to want to see your own younger self on them, struggling to make sense of new found feelings. If the admin hints that they want that, it's ok. Not to mention how important it would be for the kids that watch qsmp and might be feeling the same things as these pixel kids.

So yeah, let the young people find love.

P.s.: A1 could be either Memories or Chun-sik, we still need more clarification on that. My gut tells me that it was Memories, but 🤷‍♀️

Update: Don't go after the CC's that didn't know any better. The admins decide what direction their characters stories will go. The EGG experiment is divided by 4 groups. We're audience, not scripters. It's all.

And yes, I am also talking about Carre teasing Pepito saying he likes Pomme. From his view, they have no relation whatsoever. And it was also funny on his context, as we know Pomme has a "much older vibe" then Pepito, like teasing your younger brother about that pretty teen girl from church.

January

Ooof the calendar idea really fizzled out when i lost steam at the end of 2023 due to rotations, developed multiple illnesses, and got lowkey harassed out of the KnY fandom. The January spread was one of my favorites tho. Might publish the others on here for closure.

February

These two ended up being the most popular of the year!! still v fond of the tavhalstarion. Then i needed to take a hiatus for a while for studies.

May

Broke hiatus in May because HalTav week was too tempting!! I'll color the full one someday and upload somewhere

November

I seriously thought that I'd be able to lift hiatus in September but I failed one of my board exams, started a new job that made me hella depressed, and developed another chronic illness. so that didnt happen. I sketched both of these way earlier in 2024 but could only finish them in November once i fully passed all exams. Series of Touch still feels incomplete but i like it as is.

December

this was one of the first I drew from scratch post-hiatus and it felt like relearning how to draw all over again. very satisfied with how March turned out!

This year was a very complicated and difficult year for me in all aspects. The hiatus was especially hard on me. I went to see Look Back in theaters without knowing anything about the story and was just floored by how much I wanted to draw again and how miserable I felt during my hiatus. But at the time i had just failed my exam and I didn't feel like i could allow myself to draw again just yet.

I had thumbnailed several comic ideas during the hiatus I'm really looking forward to starting finally!

I'm also facing a dilemma with Patreon, which i only started using as a platform that wasnt twt to share nsfw work. But now that Bluesky's become more accessible and Patreon removed the option for Per-Creation Billing (as well as implemented the IOS app store surcharge), I'm reconsidering returning to Patreon and thinking of moving everything on there to Bluesky.

You chuckle, while he looks for another clothes for the Vortex party.

• "To be honest, Mark is hot." she said while does her makeup.

Nathan goes silent.

"Mr Jefferson?" you ask curiosly.

"Yeah! Don't you think?"

"Well…" you start thinking of you answer.

"You actually thinks that an old, hipster professor hotter than me?" Nathan says while he act he was insulted.

You chuckle while you give him a little kiss on his cheek.

"Never." you say kindly.

"Eww, get a room." Victoria chuckles.

You start to laugh.

• He doesn't really like to feel sad and uptight

• But when he does that, you always here to comfort him

• "When I was six years old, my father shouted me that I'm worthless" he says silently, while his gaze gets darker.

You start to feel angry while he says that.

"Welp" you start to speak in an uptight tounge "your dad is an asshole. And I think you're amazing!"

Nathan silently chuckles.

"Thanks Y/N!" he slowly close his eyes, but while you snuggle up to him. "I love you!" he says calmly.

"I love you too!"

• But sometimes he can get really dirty minded

• Nathan listened music, he got lost in his thougts while he waited for you to be ready.

"Okay, be honest" you say it as you finally got ready and walk over to him "do I look shitty, or very shitty?" you still adjust your party clothes.

Nathan gives you a smug, playful smirk as he looks at you.

"You look hot as always." he says with a smug smile while you start blush a little. "But trust me, you'll look more beautiful if I'll take off your clothes." he winks at you playfully.

You feel that your face starts to burn.

"Eww" you start chuckle "Why are you so dirty minded always?"

Nathan starts to laugh.

• Sometimes you guys out of the school, and play basketball, football or something else

• Or you guys just walking around Blackwell

• "You really want to see me playing basketball? Me?" you start pointing at yourself.

"Stop whining like a little girl! I'll teach you." he smiles at you encouraginly.

You sigh. "Okay, let's start…"

• He wants your attention everytime

• You sigh.

"Nathan, I need to study!" you say it tiredly.

"You can study later." he grabs your book and takes down to the table. After that he leans into your lap.

You smile at him tiredly as you shook your head.

Oh, as for your question... I'm one of the oldest ones, from 2013! I watched the first season and got immediately hooked, read all the manga chapters that were out at that time, and started patiently waiting for the new chapters and seasons. So yeah, I'm in this for a very long time, haha! (For a fair note: I got REALLY obsessed later, when my love for AruAni bloomed with the new intensity)

And as for AruAni, to be honest, I have loved them since 2013. When I saw them in the season 1 back then, I immediately thought, "HM, INTERESTING, something's going here, you can't fool me around 😏", and then, I reached the Female Titan arc, and it was everything I needed to know that these two were down bad for each other...

However, back then, I just loved the ship, but didn't get obsessed. They were always on the back of my mind, but I didn't engage in the community and I didn't even search for arts or fics.

Till the COVID started.

And oh my, then, I suddenly remembered that IN FACT, I ADORE them, and I reread the manga, and... My obsession just bloomed like the flower in the meadow after the winter. I started looking for the arts here and on twt (I've created the private accounts and was just following all the artists and writers 🙃), I started reading fanfics, and since then, I'm just in love with this ship, and it seems that with each passing year it becomes more and more.

Maybe it sounds silly but these two lemonheads helped me (and still help) to go through so much. They literally make me happy, even if just a bit, and I love these characters deeply.

I started creating for them and posting my arts and fics back in autumn of 2022, and, well, here I am, still here and still creating for my beloved :3

oh my god thank you i'm like embarrassed now lmao. i've actually had this username for like?? definitely over a year by now i set it up not that long before The Horrors which then made me not really want to post about pm that much and it was gonna be like an art progress blog or whatever but now it's just gonna be a pm side blog. life is crazy that way.

but anyway! before answering i'd like to once again say thanks for the food! i actually saw your bear gegs for the first time like ages ago back when you qrted a tweet about bear greg on twt and it was just like. instant serotonin. love my bug esp when people make him the big guy kjh is too scared to.

now to answer your question, i'd say it depends really? like if we were just speaking to my own personal bias i'd say chef gregor like 100% since he's just like. my favorite ID in the entire game (now if only he wasn't so ass lmao) and also for the simple fact that like. no matter how well they prepare it eating humans is still inevitably going to put some meat on a guy's bones, you know? but i'd say zwei rosespanner liu and kk are all also very high up there. yes i know that accounts for like half of his IDs but i can't help it he's just like. so bear coded no matter the timeline. rosespanner would also have like the most hardcore bear face in pictures imo

ik you only mentioned IDs but i think bygone days would probably be my pick for EGO? w/ AEDD and garden of thorns being the runner ups. i've been begging for nex nail geg pretty much since i started playing the game shortly after launch for reasons even beyond just "haha bear abno for the bear sinner" so like. as much as i UNDERSTAND giving it to rodya and sinclair thematically it hurt my soul just a little bit when i saw them get hex nails but not him... crossing my fingers so hard for him to get a random ass s0 gacha hex nail at one point...

sorry for the rambling answer i just think about gregor a Lot and i'm already prone to walls of text anyway so yk how it is lmao. once again thank you for your contributions to the cause, one day we'll get the rest of the fandom (and everyone at pm) to open their eyes to the truth. to finish things off i'll add this gregor w/ a colorpicked bear flag that i originally posted on my main like twenty centuries ago

Tkkers are the biggest jkkers there have ever been. They're the very embodiment of yelling "I'm not mad" while punching a hole in the wall. If their moments don't mean anything, why are you so mad? But they know that km's moments are significant which is why they desperately play down their relationship, call it fanservice, foist jm off onto other members (liking shipping ymn), anything to make it not real, because they know as well as we do, that if what km do is real and not scripted fanservice, then it blows apart their romeo&juliet fanfiction. For example, if its all real, then jk was drunk spinning jm and jm gave his best friend's "boyfriend" a hickey, and how would that make sense when tae and jm are still so close and loving on each other? If its real, then jk chose to spend the next 2 years with his "boyfreind's" best friend and not him, and how does that make sense?

The problem with tkkers is that they have built this perfectly insulated little belief system where they believe not in what they see, but in what they don't see, which is a nebulous relationship that supposedly exists only in private (I mean they literally brand tk the private couple). They don't even have to be based in reality or think critically because they've come up with convenient explanations for everything. If tk say something that goes against the tkker narrative, well that was the company forcing them. If they say or do something that supports it, well that was them being bold and fighting back. If interactions with another member don't threaten their ship, then that's fine and cute. If it does, well then that's just fanservice pushed by the company. They decide what is the "truth" based on if it already supports what they believe. I firmly believe there would be almost no tkkers today if they didn't stumble upon tkker accounts and become indoctrinated with the ideology because just watching content, seeing their actions, and listening to the boys talk (and believing them) would never lead you to thinking tk are romantically involved.

If its any consolation though, I do think way more army (not just km shippers) do acknowledge km's relationship being unique or sus at times, they just don't say it as much on tkker dominated spaces like twitter, where even using their duo name gets you branded a shipper and makes them mad. Like here on tubmlr, I've only checked the tk tag a handful of times out of curiosity, but the km posts and blogs seem to get waaay more engagement. Or even on reddit, I've see users make comments "like I hate shippers and I would never actually claim they're together, but km do make me questions sometimes LOL" while tkkers coming in hot with their crazy bullshit get shot down immediately there. Also this is anecdotal, but I wasn't involved in the fandom for a long period because of personal stuff (I still kept up with the member's solo projects though), and I was surprised at how much engagement km fan twt accounts get now or just how many big ones there are. At least from my memory a couple years ago, I don't remember km accounts (not just "shipping" stuff, but also accounts for km moments, etc.) getting as many likes and followers as they seem to have now, so I do wonder if the tides are turning (would make sense given recent events, rumors, etc. for tkkers to lessen imo).

that's really the entire crux of the problem, nonny. instead of regularly examining their own beliefs and assumptions based on information as it comes out, they simply figure out how they can fit the information into the belief. the ways they come to their conclusions are filled with so many fallacies that it's usually not even worth addressing because if someone is willing to twist themselves into that many knots over their beliefs then theyre not actually going to listen to logic.

and dont get me wrong, shippers of all kinds do this, but i have never seen it with such frequency and aggression as the tkk crowd. once i saw someone on tiktok claim that jk only ever mentions th on his lives. when they were told that jk does indeed talk about other members on live (they'd know if they watched og content instead of just socmed clips), the person actually refused to believe it. that's not only absurd, but it brings me to my whole conclusion about why tkkrs constantly write off and redefine moments from other pairings (and obviously especially jikook):

if tkkrs took in all the information without trying to fit it into a pre-established narrative, their ship would fall apart. even if we assume that every other pairing in bts is platonic only, tkk does not hold up. the things they do for each other, say about each other, the things others say about them, the amount of time they spend together and activities they do, the way they touch and cuddle and joke, none of it truly stands apart from the rest of their friendships. especially when we take vmn and jikook into consideration. so the only way to make romantic tkk make sense is by simply ignoring or rewriting reality.

they have to imagine that jk only cooks for th, only sings for th, only spends free time with th, only does this that and the other thing for th because if they acknowledge that jk doesn't do these things for th exclusively, what do they have? (also it's really fucking weird that their entire ship seems to hang in the balance on what jk does – they really are so threatened with how jk behaves with jm that they're constantly trying to redirect that attention from jk to th.)

as a jikooker, i am sure you have heard so many of us talk about exclusivity and consistency, and tkk just does not have that. 🤷‍♂️ i enjoy seeing tkk together and i enjoy their friendship but at the end of the day, that's all you can glean from their interactions unless you start making stuff up.

as for engagement from army in general on jikook, i do think that a lot of the time the lack of it comes from fear because fandom culture as a whole has become so volatile towards rps. but why is it that jikook comments are automatically seen as more shippy than ones about other pairings? that's what doesnt make sense unless everyone else is seeing what we're seeing. talking about the "sus" stuff between jikook forces people to acknowledge that it is actually sus and that makes them uncomfortable because nobody wants to be branded a shipper in our current fandom climate.

but yes, imo there has been a turn in tides for jikook within the fandom. i talked about it before that jikook began gaining popularity quickly in 2017 which was then solidified with gcft. i think that the 'jikook wave' so to speak probably won't ebb unless we actually see a shift in their dynamics or they start dating other people. i am really curious to see the state of the fandom and jikookers after military service tbh.
