Character Development 3

I'm back and overthinking so yay.

This bit is so key to the finality of Elrond's character development over the past two seasons. As I said in the last post, Elrond is the leader of the elven army, finally, regardless of his blood history.

But here, a moment, a tiny moment, he still looks to Gil-Galad for reassurance. Despite all the defiance and tension between these two in hierarchy, race and status, Elrond still remains kind and, importantly, loyal. He is still able to earn and give respect from/to Gil-Galad now that we see Elrond standing up for his status as an elf.

Such as here, Gil-Galad is plainly aware of Elrond's fear, and suddenly Elrond looks so young, still looking to his king. But there is also mutual respect. They are both at war. And Elrond continues to fight with his king.

And then there are moments where Elrond and Gil-Galad remain in respect of each other, but in which Gil-Galad is by far Elrond's elder.

Gil-Galad looks to Elrond here, sees him as a mutual in status, but not in experience, and that's ok. Elrond has lived wars but Gil-Galad has fought them, at least more than Elrond has. Gil-Galad continues to fight. But Elrond just stays rooted to the ground. They are equals. But Elrond can still learn from Gil-Galad, and their newfound respect in their relationship will aid that.

Elrond's character in future seasons still has a way to go to reach third age Elrond. And Elrond will fight more wars. He will become the warrior Gil-Galad is. And Gil-Galad (in TROP) is beginning to see him as an equal.

But I genuinely don't think I'm into Hazbin Hotel or Helluva Boss anymore. Over the years, I've found myself unable to enjoy both things which is a shame because I loved these things, I liked the world it created, I liked the stories, the characters, the cast and crew behind these things. I loved Alex Brightman as Adam, I loved Blake Roman playing Angel Dust, I loved that Keith David plays Husk so this genuinely hurts me that something I used to love I (think) have fallen out of love with and it sucks.

But as I've found out more about the awful stuff Vivziepop has done, I was just straight up speechless and I didn't know what to think about her actions.

Admittedly as much as I enjoyed the Helluva Boss episode "Oops" I felt like the Sex jokes and swearing felt so.. forced into there. It's like Vivzie can't go two seconds without having one of her characters swear or make a sex joke. I felt like the scene where Angel got ***** really could have been replaced by another scene and also that type of stuff makes me very uncomfortable.

I might still interact with both shows from time to time, but other than that I don't see myself getting into either things again. (Maybe only the Redesigns and rewrites of both shows again idk yet).

But again.. I'm sorry.

I've moved on to other things that I liked (especially the Newgrounds British show about those 4 guys that have my damn brain in a chokehold ever since Elementary school) because I've simply found them more well written and more enjoyable than HH and HB.

Soo... Yeah. Idk what else to write here other than I'm sorry for no longer liking these shows.
