Started watching the Bayverse movies with my besties and... Are we just too gay for these movies??? Admittedly we only finished the first two and got through a quarter of the third, but the second one was such a drag to sit through at times and it probably doesn't help that we do NOT care about Sam that much. I hope that there is a character arc for him in the rest of the third movie. Because so far he has not been fun to watch in that one. He just comes off as a slight manchild to me, like... I can see why he would be frustrated with where he is in life but the way he acts with others and lashes out does not help him in the slightest. I do have to admit though that seeing him go to Cybertronian Heaven in the second movie was the funniest part for me and my besties lol.

I'll just hope that the other guy in the next movies will be at least a bit more interesting. Doesn't even have to be a good guy, just an interesting guy for me lol

God i just love eds little "thank you" in response to stede telling him that he likes his beard. It feels sincere and polite even.. you'd expect ed to keep being bitchy/passive aggressive (rightfully so) and respond with a fuck you instead, but no he says thank you like he can't help himself, he has to thank stede, he can't help but be polite to him, despite the anger and the pain he feels..

And i love how shy and polite he is when they're talking about where he's gonna spend the night and how he says "no, you shouldn't have to" and "oh, no, you go, no, sorry, you go" when they keep talking over eachother.... and it's like yeah he might have worked some of his shit when he was in the gravey basket and when him and stede talked earlier in the episode but there's no doubt there's still some lingering pain and that this doesn't magically erase the last 4 episodes but still.. but still he can't help but be this polite and shy, he can't help but be soft and tender with stede.. and his little "yes" about asking the crew if ed can spend the night, the look on his face with his stupid hopeful wide eyes and how he looks away from stede after saying "it might be nice" and then the look on eds face watching stede run is so making me crazy!!

noticed that you have a Bisharp, what was it like training him? Asking because I’m currently trying to train a Pawniard for the first time, and I will accept any advice I can get on the matter from other people who have experience with the Pawniard evolution line. ( @unova-ace-of-sharp )

First off: Congrats on the little guy! You seem to have a lot of things down already, so good for you. Most of my tips would be more for battling trainers, so lemme know if you want those.

Anyways, be sure to look out whenever he's around other Pokemon. If a Pawniard gets into a fight, they're usually not going to back down, even if they're up against a druddigon or something like that. They're used to having backup from the rest of their group, so they're not gonna realize they're Tiny And Alone.

Also be warned, the line can be very fucking stubborn. If a pawniard or bisharp doesn't want to do something, you either have to accept they won't do it or argue for half an hour until they give in. There's no inbetween

Also Don't Teach Your Pawniard About Physical Affection, it sounds obvious, but apparently not to 16 year old me because that was a mistake I made with Gil. They are NOT built to be giving hugs or to be hugged and if they learn that over any normal ways pawniard show affection, it's gonna be pretty damn dangerous.

also try giving Spite some bubble wrap, Gilgamesh loves playing with the stuff. Could be fun for them too.

I'm so curious about how the disaster trio in the princess!luz au first slept in the same bed together. Like how did this occur. Was it on accident or on purpose? What triggered it? Is it because they're all exhausted and the second bed is too far away? Was Luz or Hunter the cause, like injury or sickness and the other two doesn't want to leave and Amity is convinced it's okay to stay? The People(me) Want To Know.

And I can't imagine this scenario in any way without Amity being a flustered, tightly wound mess. Cause like seeing people in their sleepwear about to go to bed is an underrated form of intimacy I think. Plus Luz and Hunter are Weird but they make her feel like the weird one for feeling out of place with how casual they are about this.

GOD this is a good question. and there are So Many Ways that this could go down. my biggest instinct is that the first time it happens is a complete accident, but How that happens could be. so many ways

but CURRENTLY the scenario i'm softest for is:

amity is avoiding her roommates in the library, which has become habitual for her bc she barely tolerates them (think her dynamic with boscha back at hexside). it's late. hunter is in the library with luz & upon seeing amity, is very exasperatedly like. you cannot keep sleeping here blight. someone's gonna kill you

after some testy back-and-forth he's like Look. luz is about to go to bed, i'm on duty watching over her, literally just come sleep on the floor. you know luz would not let me murder you while you're sleeping.

on some level amity recognizes that this is hunter's tsundere-ass way of saying he's concerned for her wellbeing & also she really Doesn't want to get attacked for falling asleep in public. so she's like Fine. Whatever.

luz invites her to share the bed bc luz has no sense of normal boundaries or weird behavior. amity is like UM UH UM & luz is like OR NOT. SORRY!

amity sleeps for like four hours curled up like a cat on luz's carpet, spending the whole time very pointedly Not looking at luz or thinking about her or thinking about sharing a bed with her, because obviously she doesn't wanna do that, shut up. & then she wakes up n can Tell that hunter is dead tired. like borderline falling over.

so naturally she, in her tsundere-ass way, is like look. i'm not gonna make a habit of this and if you try to make me make a habit of this then i'll kill you. but if you sleep off the rest of your shift, i'll stay up and look after luz. you know i wouldn't let anything happen to her i'm not an idiot.

normally hunter would put up a fight about this but luz is shifting restlessly under her blankets like she's having bad dreams, so he's like.

.......okay.

bc if amity takes over then he can climb into bed with luz and gently nudge her awake and then hold her back to sleep.

which does of course make amity tomato-flustered and very quickly look away from them like. I Do Not Know What To Do With Expressions Of Intimacy Platonic Or Otherwise. I'm Gonna Die Here

i still gotta work out the exact logistics of luz's inner guard but i DO know that there's a small handful of people who are also tasked with guarding her, all under hunter's command. so when one of them shows up at the end of hunter's scheduled shift, amity is like great. i can get some more shut-eye.

i do not want to go back to my roommates. or get stabbed in the library. or sleep on the hard-ass floor. what if i just kinda......

and then she creeps onto the foot of the mattress like "i'm gonna catnap for 15 minutes and then stop committing treason. i know she said i could sleep on the bed but this is definitely still treason somehow"

then. it is not 15 minutes.

It is so rare to find someone who thrives under a downpour. Particularly here, within Fontaine, where rain is so common that the average local groans every time the skies darken with familiar clouds, and most rush for cover at the first gentle drops that fall. He has always been outside of the norm here, even when he was still merely human (as human as a Fontanian could be, that is). Rain has always been soothing to him - delightful to him. When everyone else dashed for shelter, he stood and let it soak him through.

Back then, he often stood alone. Now... well, things are different now.

The first time Fontaine had deigned to demonstrate the weather it is known for, Vautrin had expected the architect to react as most others - to dash for cover amidst complaints. When Kaveh had simply stood and turned his face to welcome the rain, Vautrin had felt something inside him soften with a tremendous wave of affection. Here was someone who saw the beauty in nature the way he did, someone who appreciated rain instead of scorning it.

It was but the first of many walks in the rain that he would share with the architect, and he treasured them all. Even amidst the dreary grey gloom the clouds cast upon the world, Kaveh shined. Sodden and dripping, yet still smiling - he had never looked more beautiful in Vautrin's eyes.

There are many side-effects of his 400-year swim - a more complicated one is the ripples of emotion and memory that become amplified through his connection to hydro. And whilst this is sometimes a curse, his head filling with voices and faces that are simultaneously foreign and familiar to him, sometimes it can be a blessing.

Like now, for example, as he watches Kaveh once more turn his face to the sky, raindrops peppering his skin like a gentle caress. He feels, instantly, the joy that radiates from the other man, feels his delight. Ah, so refreshing!, he hears as clear as if Kaveh had spoken aloud. His own heart is filled with warmth and bliss in turn, and just as with that first rainfall, he feels a swell of emotion rise within his chest.

Not just mere affection this time, but love.

It is like a compulsion, the way he steps forward, raises a hand (for once freed from the confines of his gloves) to catch Kaveh gently by the chin. He feels the thrum of emotion amplify further with the direct contact, and it only fuels the fire within him. He tilts the blond's face down, towards his own, and leans in to capture his lips in a kiss, right there in the middle of the street.

His hand moves to cradle a damp cheek, fingers threading into wet locks of hair. The other falls to Kaveh's waist, his touch warm against the sodden fabric of his shirt, and he draws the other in close as his kiss deepens, so consumed by emotion that he no longer cares for the public nature of this display.

It is almost overwhelming, the way his very being fills with the shared emotion between them - he is surrounded by Kaveh's bliss, his joy, his love, and he repays it all in kind, pouring every ounce of his heart into that single kiss. He feels light, as though every weight he carries upon his shoulders has been lifted aside, and he perhaps experiences, for the first time in his long, long life, true happiness.

He breaks the kiss, if only to gaze upon that beautiful face once more, the face of a man who has given him so much and asked for so little in return. If there was a reason for my return, perhaps it was so I could find you.

As primordial swirls meet sparkling maroon, there comes an awareness of something akin to a miracle - although the rain continues to fall around them in its steady rhythm, not a single drop touches the two men standing amidst the downpour, as though there is an aura that surrounds and shields them.

"We should get you into some dry clothes." He murmurs above the drumming of the rain. "Wouldn't want you to get sick." His fingers interlace with Kaveh's as he steps back, tugging the blond along with him as the downpour parts around them.

There are some side effects that prove useful - and if their shoes step atop the puddles in their path, rather than splashing through them, well... surely that was a mere trick of the eye, no?
