Author's note: I'm deeply sorry for taking so much time, but here you are! I hope you like it and thanks for the request.

Ever since Rhea and Dominik started that story keyfabe, you feel jealous each time they have an interaction.

The gazes which they share, the sweet words, sweet touches, make you feel worse each time. You know fully that you shouldn't doubt Rhea's feelings towards you, that what they are doing is keyfabe, but you can't help it.

The time you snap and leave the room, is once where Dominik was hurt against Gunther and he had started moaning "Mami" in pain. As part of the Judgement Day as well, you had to stay there and watch, but you focused on the camera instead of those two, wishing that they would hurry up, so you could disappear and stay alone for a bit.

You just storm out of medical's room, not really sure where to go, your locker room surely not being a good idea. You can hear footsteps chasing behind you, but you can care less, until that person catches your arm and forces you to turn and face them.

"Y/N! What is wrong?" Her hold is steady on your arm and even if you could get away, you don't fight it.

"Nothing. I'm... Fine." You can't look at her in the eyes.

"Come on, look at me." Rhea moves a thumb on your cheek, trying to get your attention. "Something is wrong, is it because of Dominik?" She asks softly and gently.

You sigh heavily and look at her. "This whole storyline with Dominik is getting on my nerves."

"You are a dumbass. My own little dumbass." She says lovingly, smirking. "Are you jealous? You know you don't need to be, because I am only yours and you are only mine, Y/N."

You blush, pressing your cheek against her thumb. "Yes, I am jealous. I know it's keyfabe, but I see how he looks at you."

"You are part of Judgement Day as well and he knows fully that we are together. He is exaggerating so much only for the fans." Rhea reassures you, before cupping your cheeks and kissing you gently.

Random thought this afternoon.

Reason 5,000 why the bloodline is so beautifully done and why what Roman, Jey etc have done over the last four years is simply a different level...

The connection of bloodline fans. Here me out. Yeah we each have our own faves. Example being Roman is my #1, but I still adore the twins and I think for a lot of us, they've made their characters so intricately connected that it's hard to love one without having some level of appreciation for the others.

Even post implosion with them going their seperate ways and beefing, all subsets of the bloodline fandom remained interlocked in that. Whereas a faction say for example like Imperium. Giovanni left and his subset of imperium fans sort've naturally broke off. TJD broke up and Rhea and Damian fans had a natural break off from Finn (not so much Dom? Idk) etc. When Edge left TJD, His fans split off in a natural break. Of course all of this is generalization to some extent because their are Edge fans who are also Rhea fans and Gio fans who are also Gunther fans etc, and this obviously isn't shade or hate to any wrestler/fandom/faction.

It's funny because bloodline fans almost recreate their family structure. Sure I'm a Roman Stan, but I love my Uso stan cousins. Sure you might be a Jey stan, but I know you love your Jimmy stan twins.

The bloodline has captured this magical nostalgia of cutting pictures out of a magazine and gossiping with your girlies about which Jonas Brother is hottest. Even though each and every one of them make you giggle and melt like a tween who just took a personality quiz in J-14/Tiger Beat that said Harry Styles is their soulmate.

Side note for my fellow JoBro girlies who grew up to be bloodline women - Roman is Joe (frontman, most popular, heartthrob), Jey is Nick (cutey, successful solo career, broke off from the others), Jimmy is Kevin (funny, cute and underrated), Solo is Frankie (that lil brother that tags along). I do not make the rules.

Either way I say all this to say I love that they each have their own individual careers, accomplishments and personalities and we love each of them individually and yet they've made their carrers so incredibly connected forever. The only similar faction in that way is the shield but this is even stronger.

RAW was so much fun last night, pretty sure I was the only Gunther fan there but that didn't matter at all tbh. *This long awaited fic is for my two best friends/sisters and greatest supporters @afterdarkprincess and @thlayli-ra who've cheered me on and gave me confidence to continue writing! Love you both!*

“OK Sami you got this!” Sami says to himself as he laces up his boots. He has a huge match coming up against Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship and at Wrestlemania too! He knows Gunther is gonna be difficult to beat but people always underestimated Sami and he proved them wrong every time. “You can beat him! You got the fans on your side!” He says, not knowing someone is coming up behind him.

“Boo!” someone says as they grab Sami's shoulders from behind, startling Sami. “Merde!” Sami says, causing him to fall off the bench. He can hear the mystery person laughing and looks behind him to see it's his boyfriend Ludwig. “You're so easy to scare dandelion!” Ludwig says through giggles, causing Sami to smile. He loves that he's the only one that gets to see the soft side of his boyfriend.

“Love to know I get to see you laugh before I get murdered!” Sami says with a laugh of his own. “Already throwing in the metaphorical towel meine liebe?” Ludwig asks as he sits on the bench. “No violet, I think I'm just a bit nervous! I'll get over it in the next twenty minutes!” Sami says as he tries to get up but is stopped by Ludwig. “Sami, you stay right where you are and turn around so I can get you ring ready! Do I make myself clear löwenzahn?” Ludwig says authoritatively but with a smile.

“Yes sir!” Sami says with a small salute and turns around. Ludwig just giggles as he pulls out a hairbrush and a hair tie from his makeup bag. “You deserve this moment Sami” Ludwig says as he starts brushing Sami's hair. “You think so?” Sami asks curiously. “Schatz, you of all people should know you deserve this! You have worked your ass off time and time again to get a shot at this title and you earned it! I know Gunther is a tough man to beat but you're even tougher to put down!” Ludwig says encouragingly as he continues brushing Sami's hair.

“Is that why you call me a dandelion all the time?” Sami says with a laugh. “Well yes also because your hair is fluffy and you're stubborn to get rid of” Ludwig says truthfully as he puts some of Sami's hair up in a little bun. Without warning, Sami turns around and pulls Ludwig off the bench and onto his lap. “Have you ever tried getting rid of me?” Sami asks curiously as he holds Ludwig close to him.

“Sami, if I wanted to get rid of you I would've done so already” Ludwig says truthfully, causing Sami to laugh. “That's fair! God, I'm so happy I get to spend Wrestlemania with you Ludwig” Sami says affectionately as they both get off the floor. “You deserve this moment, Sami” Ludwig says sweetly. “I'm just glad I get to enjoy it with you Ludwig” Sami says sweetly as well. “Remember, if you don't win then know that you'll still be a winner to me” Ludwig says with a smile.

“How did I get so lucky with you?” Sami asks with a laugh. “I could ask the same thing” Ludwig says which causes him to laugh as well. “Sami, you're up in three minutes” a tech girl says as she eats her doughnut and walks away. Ludwig sighs which catches Sami's attention. “Something wrong?” Sami asks curiously, Ludwig shaking his head “no�� in response. “I just wish that I could come out with you instead of him” Ludwig says sadly.

“You gotta be patient violet, when the beast is slayed then you'll be free!” Sami says enthusiastically. “Since when did you start being poetic?” Ludwig asks jokingly. “I guess being around you for so long made me a bit more sophisticated” Sami says, causing Ludwig to roll his eyes. He was about to say something back til Sami's theme music hit. Sami was about to say something until Ludwig kissed him deeply. “How did you know?” Sami asks with a blush.

“Cause I know you dandelion, now go out there and show everyone who the underdog is!” Ludwig says encouragingly. “God, I love you” Sami says as he gives Ludwig a quick kiss and nearly slips when running to his spot. “I love you too you idiot!” Ludwig yells with a smile as he gets himself ready, not knowing that Gunther was watching in the shadows.

He did it…Sami won! He gave Gunther a Helluva Kick, pinned him and won. Ludwig grabbed the belt and slid into the ring next to Sami. “I believe this is yours?” Ludwig asks with a proud smile. “Mind putting it on me ma violette?” Sami says, desperately trying to contain his excitement. Ludwig nods as he gets behind Sami and clasps the belt around his boyfriend's waist. When he comes back around, Sami picks him up and spins him around. “I can't believe I did it!” Sami says with a big smile.

“You deserve it so much Sami” Ludwig says sweetly as he kisses Sami in the middle of the ring. One minute they're enjoying the moment the next Ludwig is thrown into a ring post. He feels blood dripping down his face as he hears Sami screaming. He opens his eyes and sees Gunther beating the hell out of Sami. “You think just because you beat me that you're special? You are nothing but a pest!” Gunther yells as he kicks Sami in the ribs.

Ludwig shakes the cobwebs from his eyes and springs into action. He pushes Gunther away and stands in front of Sami as a way of protecting him. “Leave him alone!” Ludwig screams. “Why are you defending him? He's a loser! A joke!” Gunther says. “It's because I love him that's why! He's the only person that made me feel like a person unlike you!” Ludwig says confidently, which angers Gunther.

“I have given you everything you worthless little wretch! I made you! I brought you here to be a soldier yet you let this parasite get to you and make you soft! It's a good thing your mother is dead so she doesn't have to see her son end up as a useless stupid whore just like she was!” Gunther says cruelly, which makes Ludwig's blood boil. Ludwig balls his fist up and slugs Gunther right in the jaw, knocking the Ring General to the ground.

“You leave her name out of your fucking mouth! You stay away from Sami and you stay away from me cause I'm done with you! Auf Wiedersehen Schlampe!” Ludwig announces as he turns around and rushes to Sami. “Are you ok meine liebe?” Ludwig asks worryingly as he checks for any life-threatening injuries. Before he gets a response, Gunther grabs him by the back of the neck and chokeslams into the mat. “You think that you can hit the Ring General and can get away with it? You are nothing!” Gunther screams as he wraps his hands around Ludwig's throat.

Ludwig tries to claw away Gunther's hands from choking him but to no avail. He feels tears streaming down his cheeks as his vision starts to go dark. He thought this was the end until he heard someone's theme music play. He sees a blue and white blur go after Gunther which causes the man to release his grip. Ludwig gasps for air and closes his eyes hoping this will end soon. “Come on cutie, you ain't dying yet!” A voice says as they help Ludwig to his feet.

Ludwig opens his eyes to see Seth Rollins helping him as well as Cody Rhodes helping Sami while Jey Uso neutralizes Gunther. Sami and Ludwig are escorted out of the ring by Team Yeet. “Don't worry guys, we're almost near medical” Cody says reassuringly. “Damn Ludwig, didn't know you had it in you uce!” Jey says in shock. “Yeah, that was pretty amazing cutie” Seth says with a smile, causing Ludwig to blush. They finally make it to medical and the other men set Ludwig and Sami onto the table.

“Sit tight guys, we're gonna go find a doctor!” Cody says nicely. “Yeah, just don't die before we come back alright?” Jey asks teasingly, receiving a smack to the arm by Seth. “They're gonna be fine Jey! Also good luck Sami” Seth says with a wink as he ushers the other two out the room. “What did he mean by that?” Ludwig asks curiously. “Nothing! He meant nothing! Now, back to what we were doing!” Sami says as he puts Ludwig in his lap and smothers him with kisses.

“You did it violet! You slayed the monster!” Sami says with a big smile on his face. Ludwig gives off a big smile himself before realizing what he just did. “Holy fuck what did I do?!?!” Ludwig says as he starts to panic. “Woah violet, calm down and tell me what's wrong” Sami asks as he gently grabs Ludwig's hands. “Gunther brought me into the United States meaning he has the power to deport me at any time! Now that I've attacked him, I'm gonna be deported for sure because I don't have a green card!” Ludwig says through tears.

“It's ok violet! I think I have a way to solve that problem” Sami says with a blush. “What do you mean?” Ludwig asks through sniffles. “I wanted to do this in the ring but this is even better” Sami says sweetly as he pulls a ring box out of his pocket. Ludwig gasps when he sees a golden band with three purple violets on top. “Sami” Ludwig says quietly as he feels himself crying again. “Ludwig Kaiser, will you make me the happiest man in the world and marry me?” Sami says with hope in his eyes.

“Ich liebe dich!” Ludwig says happily as he straddles Sami's lap and kisses him deeply. “Je t'aime aussi” Sami says happily as he puts the ring on his new fiance's finger. “You really waited til I got a black eye and my face covered in blood to do this?” Ludwig asks with a smile. “Violet, I wouldn't have you any other way” Sami says with a goofy smile, causing Ludwig to roll his eyes. “I can't believe I'm marrying a goofball” Ludwig says with a laugh as he kisses Sami again. He whimpered when Sami started kissing and nibbling his neck.

“Lemme guess he said yes?” Seth says with a laugh, causing Sami and Ludwig to freeze. “Yeah, he did” Sami says shyly as Ludwig proudly shows off his engagement ring. “The doctor will be coming shortly but after that I say we go out and celebrate the happy couple's engagement! My treat!” Cody offers happily. “I'm down for anything that involves Cody paying the bill!” Seth says with a laugh. “Now hold on uce, before we do any of that I gotta know. Ludwig, I know you not in a faction anymore but how we know that you ain't gonna break my boy's heart huh?” Jey asks seriously.

“Jey!” Sami says but is stopped by Ludwig when he tries to say more. Ludwig gets up and is face-to-face with Jey. He puts his arms straight out and slowly moves them up and down. “Yeet” Ludwig says with a nervous smile. Jey smiles wide as he pulls Ludwig into a crushing hug. “Welcome to the family uce!” Jey says happily as he squeezes Ludwig. “Jey, I think you're crushing him” Sami says worryingly. “Oops sorry uce” Jey says as he lets go of Ludwig. “Welcome to the squad Ludwig” Cody says proudly.

“Get ready for a lot of wacky shit to happen all the time!” Seth says with his signature laugh. “Is this gonna be like this all the time?” Ludwig asks Sami with a giggle. “Yeah, one of the perks of being with me!” Sami says happily. “God I can't wait to marry you” Ludwig says happily as they kiss one more time. Both men can't wait for the future they're gonna have together.

Susan Kay's 'Phantom' Read: Part I (Madeleine)

I'm gonna start by voicing a deep dislike and annoyance for the endorsements on the back.

"Adds new depth and perspective, moving well beyond the familiar bounds of the story..." -- Publisher's Weekly

... No, it doesn't. It offers ONE person's take while actively circumventing, contradicting and ignoring canon. You can't "add new perspective" to someone else's work by making up your own shit. This is nothing more or less than Fanfiction. And Fanfiction is by no means bad, but just because it follows the basic timeline outlined by the original author, that doesn't make it any more legitimate than any other transformative/derivative work just because it's in book form.

Even more aggravating is this, from School Library Journal:

"Phantom of the Opera fans no longer need to ponder what was in Erik's past, as Kay has created one for him in this deeply moving, poignant story . . . This sad, but beautiful, novel will be especially popular with [those] who have enjoyed the current musical."

I hate that this is actively encouraging readers to accept this dross as canon. "No need to draw your own conclusions, just ape off of this author!"

All of my above statements about how THIS IS VERY MUCH NOT CANON AND SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN CONFLATED WITH LEROUX CANON TO THE EXTENT THAT IT WAS stand.

Like whether you enjoy it or not, IT'S NOT CANON.

Anyway, onto 'Madeleine'

My first question is, did Kay name her this so that later, when Erik talks about marrying Christine at the Madeleine Church, she could point back to this and go "Haha! Mommy issues!"?

Now that's aside...

So, I actually liked the writing quite a bit. There are some decently witty phrases here and a few even made me chuckle.

I personally think she spent way more time than she needed to on Madeleine, who is, I won't mince words here, an OC. There's so many details I just don't want or need.

I will be honest, I think Kay did a good job capturing Erik’s troubling characteristics and applying them what he would perhaps have been like as a child.

My biggest problem is the Renesmee of it all.

I dislike the fact that infant Erik is portrayed as having a kind of consciousness. Of course, Madeleine is an unreliable narrator, so it could easily be that she simply projected an unnatural consciousness onto him out of fear, but I somehow doubt that this is what Kay was aiming for. The way she has Madeleine describe Erik as an infant seems to indicate that, from the moment he was born, he has understood himself to be afflicted and different, which I deeply dislike.

It has always seemed to me, that, whatever skills and gifts Erik employed, Leroux's point was that, under it all, he really was nothing more than a man; that, had he been treated with acceptance, he would not have been very different to any other man. No bizarre consciousness bestowed upon him as a curse on his mother for the sin of vanity made Erik into the haunting soul that he is.

And that really does seem to be the implication here, which is a problem for me. Its one thing to write Erik's mother regarding him as a punishment from God, its quite another to actually support that idea in the text by having him develop, not only intellectually, but physically, beyond the bounds of humanity. Crawling at six months, sure. Speaking at six months and walking at 9? No. Absolutely not. We're not doing this.

Even his deformity is treated as something supernatural (which is REALLY annoying, since we know that Leroux prided himself on even his outlandish writing choices being based in reality and accepted medical knowledge of the time. We KNOW he consulted doctors about potential diseases upon which he could base Erik’s disorder (which is likely either congenital syphilis, or Gunther Disease).

Erik became what he was because he was a child like any other and couldn't understand why he was denied the affection and attention he craved as a basic instinct, what nature dictates as natural; denied his first and most basic human right--a mother's love.

It's so much more meaningful and logical that hope should be drained from him gradually as his mother continually rejects the natural order; that he should gradually come to conclude that he is an exception to Nature's established rules, and this then is what drives Erik to build himself into something extraordinary, using the exceptionally favourable gifts he was granted by God and nature.

Now I've heard about what a bitch Madeleine is, but honestly she's not half as bad as what I was expecting (at least from her own narrative). That she takes the trouble to try and educate him herself is interesting to me, but also kind of silly. Kay grants child!Erik an intellect and developmental speed that is "Nothing short of preturnatural". If you're going to treat him like a supernaturally intelligent being then why spend so much real estate on his education?

I'm also not sold on the idea that canon!Erik's mother would ever have put that much effort into fostering his intellect.

But then in my head-canon, Erik's mother put it about that Erik died in the cradle shortly after his birth and kept him hidden for his entire childhood (which frankly, I think, is the more realistic scenario--but then I would, its my headcanon).

Also, you remember when I talked about Kay ignoring and contradicting canon?

Erik has "mis-matched eyes" in this book. That's from the musical. Also he's Christened a "Erik" here (his mother tells the priest to give the baby his own name). Erik isn't actually Erik's birth name in Leroux. It's a name he adopted "By chance" in his adult life.

Overall I found this whole section very tedious, but perhaps the most upsetting thing about it for me was this.

I was told that Erik's mother is a bitch (big surprise, we all knew that).

So I was expecting gross neglect, constant verbal abuse, physical abuse etc.

Well it was surprisingly light on all of that. In fact Madeleine is self-aware enough, with the help of another OC, her friend Marie (who is the only person in this book with any rights, imho) that she's lacking as a mother, and feels guilty about this.

She even ***Spoilers*** comes around to a point where she comes to terms with having Erik for a son... just in time for him to run away after his beloved dog gets killed by a mob of local boys.

What NO ONE MENTIONED and what I found just absolutely, insane, unnecessary, and repugnant, is the treatment of Erik's voice as being inherently sexual from birth.

This excerpt, from page 7, describing Madeleine's first experience of hearing Erik cry as a newborn, sets the tone for the first half of her narrative:

And then he cried! I have no words to describe the first sound of his voice and the extraordinary response it evoked in me. I had always considered the cry of a newborn to be utterly sexless--piercing, irritating, curiously unattractive. But his voice was a strange music that brought tears rushing to my eyes, strangely seducing my body so that my breasts ached with a primitive and overwhelming urge to hold him close.

And is followed by these little gems:

I had begun to be afraid of the manner in which his voice was manipulating me. It seemed evil somehow, almost . . . incestuous.

Whatever spiritual ecstasy Father Mansart derived from those throbbing notes, my response was utterly and unequivocally physical.

The words were for God; but the voice, the exquisite, irresistible voice was for me and it pulled like a magnet somewhere deep and unseen inside my body.

I find these so particularly repugnant because after a little while this fixation with Madeleine sexualizing her son's voice... just stops. It goes nowhere, and there's no real reason given for why it stops being a theme. I'm completely baffled and disturbed as to why this is in here at all, especially because Leroux describes Erik's voice in many ways (angelic, sweet, beautiful, pure, triumphant, powerful, sinister) but he never explicitly attributes sexual attraction to it, even from Christine's perspective. Christine is so viscerally transported by the beauty of his song because it is beautiful music and she's a freak for music, not because his voice's default setting is "automatic aphrodisiac".

Erik does seduce Christine with his voice, that's absolutely true, but only because that's what he intends it to do, not because that's just what it does on its own.

Hiiii, so random, but do you have any possible thoughts about another crackship from SVE or vanilla? I do have one, but I don't think I'll be talking about it here, but I wonder if you... have other thoughts about another possible crackship 👁 May I also ask what you feel about crackships?

I love crackships! It's pretty funny to imagine two completely different characters with the thought, "what will happen if..." and let your imagination run wild as to what a comical situation that would be.

Although, in some cases, some crackship have shown a lot of potential that I seriously now considered them quite the potential ship. Lance/Isaac from SVE is direct proof of that, because now instead of silly stories with those two dumbasses, I now think of them as a serious ship while trying to decide whether to make their next headcanon sad or cute. Or something spicy, hee hee... 🌚

So, on to the crackships....

In vanilla SDV it would definitely be Pierre/Wizard, or even Shane/Wizard. Just the thought that an ordinary Valley dweller, who somehow became Rasmodius' partner, would be shocked by the spells and magic of a wizard (especially Shane, who in canon denies the existence of magic as such at all) makes me amused. For example, "wizard's failed attempt at a love potion". Pure chaos everywhere 😁

Pierre/Morris also have great chemistry when it comes to crackchip (*looking at the wonderful artists and writers who have provided a bunch of Pierre/Morris content*). Again, though, people saw potential in this particular crackship as a serious one too (*looking at those same great artists and writers*). In general, our Mr. Joja Manager by nature fits in perfectly with a few residents as a crackship. Morris/Wizard, Morris/Gunther, Morris/Robin... Something like that.

Of the vanilla bachelors/ettes I can think of only a couple: Alex/Sebastian (the athlete in the game talked for a long time about how weird Sebby is, that he always wears black, and I was like "oh my god, are you in love with him or something?"), Shane/Haley (a battle of two of the most mean marriage candidates ever, oh yeah!), and Harvey/Mr Qi (let's break our doctor's mind with a definitive lack of logic and disregard for wound care, because Mr Qi has 'snake milk'! Which sounds more like poison...).

As for SVE... Besides my favourite Lance/Isaac, the second crackship will be Isaac/Victor. If anyone remembers The Adoring Fan from Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, the relationship of these two will be the same. For those who haven't played Scrolls: imagine an annoying person praising your every move and following you everywhere you go, even if you end up in Hell. Given Victor's enthusiasm for adventurers, he'll be like that fan (not too in character for him, but hey, it's a crackship), and Isaac was just unlucky. Or maybe lucky? 👀

Well, where can we go about crackship without Jadu, a character who only said a couple of quotes in the game, but even that was enough to realise that he's just fed up with life and his job as an errand boy? So - Jadu/Camilla! Because who else could make his life more chaotic and crazy than Camilla, the all-powerful witch who doesn't give a shit about manners, conjures up anything and anywhere, and does pranks just for fun? If I start writing headcanons about them, every post I'll tag "#Jadu isn't getting paid enough for this shit".

If I'm going to feel sorry for Jadu, then Isaac/Camilla. Because I don't feel sorry for Isaac, lol (just kidding, but he'll have more patience than Jadu).

Oh oh oh! A good idea for crackship would also be Camilla/Isaac/Lance, and guess three times who's going to be dom- *bonk*

WWE screwed up big time at Backlash, not putting that title on Jey. I know Damian just won, but he's a heel and not over with fans like Roman, Gunther, etc Jey winning and Damian ending TJD and them feuding, with him turning face and THEN winning the title back, would make his Championship run a lot more special to him and the fans But it's not the first time, and I'm sure it won't be the last time that WWE ruins title runs IE Jey and Cody and Kevin and Sami ************ *My personal opinion Don't like, just scroll on Only thing I'm throwing off on here is WWE Nothing against the wrestlers themselves

My quick overview of Money in the Bank! Overall, it was a pretty good show. 7/10⭐

‼️MITB 2023 SPOILERS AHEAD‼️

So happy that Iyo won the women's match. Love her 💜 Zoey was my sleeper pick to 2 win but I don't quite think she's ready yet. Trish is making her better every week tho. Iyo and Bayley are gonna have some drama now. I know it! The handcuff spot ending was great! I loved the creativity. Zelina showed out with that Code Red from the top of the ladder. And all the ladies where serving this their gear. As they should.

Gunther kicked Riddles ass, as he should. The match was good and Gunther looked great as always. Drew coming back was the highlight of that segment. He and Gunther are gonna kick the crap out of one another soon. And I honestly see Drew as the one to dethrone Gunther. Perhaps with some help from The Brawling Brutes again since Vinci and Kaiser are still a factor.

Surprise ! John Cena showed up and hinted that Mania may be in London in the future. My Aussie husband Grayson showed up and he and Cena had a good promo battle. Possible Cena/Grayson match in the future?? Because I'd love to see that when Grayson's leg is good to go. Grayson had a killer shirt on as always. That's one more to add to my wardrobe when I've got money.

Finn and Seth put on a banger match. Kinda wished it was Demon! Finn tho. Judgment Day is so clearly gonna break up soon and I am all for it. Finn needs to be free of the shit Rhea and Dom have going on. So does Damian. Personally, I think that Finn should start tagging with JD McDonagh and Damian should get a singles run.

Not a huge Cody fan but he kicked Dom's annoying ass so yay Cody! The match was okay. I've always found Cody kinda eh. And Dom's character with Rhea is just annoying.

Didn't really care for the tag match until Shayna pulled a GOATED move and smacked Rhonda up. Hopefully this either means Rhonda is gonna be gone for a while or Shayna is gonna give her the work in a full match/fued. Also, I'm happy for Liv getting the belt back. Don't really care for Raquel 🫠

Bloodline Civil War was a great match! Jimmy and Jey both showed out and proved that Roman is slowly becoming irrelevant. Loved seeing my man Solo kick ass! (even if it was his bro's ass😭) That's my man and I can't wait for him to drop Roman and get back on the same page with his bros. Romans's time on top is coming to an end and I can't wait for him to drop the belts. I'm a shield stan for life. But that man has become so bland both with his promos and his in-ring work. It's time for someone else to have the belt and be on top. I 100% think that Jey should be the one to dethrone him. Poetic Justice if you will.

The men's ladder match was 🔥🔥🔥. Shoutout to my man Ricochet for putting Logan through that table with that amazing spot. Shinsuke and Butch both looked really solid in the match. Hopefully, they'll let Shin get more screen time. (also let Pat come back. I miss him jamming out to Shin's music) Logan was okay in the match. His ring work is getting better. He works well as a heel and I loved the boys all ganging up on him. (not a Logan hater. Just thought it was funny) Damian did solid work. He was my sleeper pick and I didn't mind him winning. Though my husband LA Knight should HAVE WON THE MATCH!! Triple H will be hearing from my therapist. Papa Trip hinted after the show that Knight is gonna get a push soon because of all the attention he's getting. I can see him going after Austin's US championship since Theory's run is dry as hell and it's about time he dropped the belt.

Great question. For me, the definitive list includes the most prominent and recurring adversaries. Her core rogues gallery should include:

Cheetah, Circe, Ares, Giganta, Doctor Psycho, Silver Swan, Doctor Poison, Veronica Cale, Doctor Cyber, Queen Clea, Paula von Gunther, Blue Snowman, Angle Man, Medusa, Duke of Deception, Deimos, Phobos, Eris, and (sadly) Maxwell Lord.

I'm partial to Golden Age villains, so I'd personally love to add the rest of Villainy Inc. to the list (Zara, Hypnota, and Eviless), but they just haven't appeared much post-GA. Still, Joye Hummel ghostwrote many of those stories so she firmly established Diana's rogues gallery early on. It's just a shame subsequent writers didn't follow that.

There are some relatively recent characters who may end up on the list, such as Devastation or Genocide (both of whom were brought back for Steve Orlando's Horsewomen arc). Hecate is another one who could be pushed into the core rogues gallery.

Wikipedia has a pretty good comprehensive list of Wonder Woman villains, but there's definitely some bias there due to it being edited by fans (for example, Janus is far too new to be part of Diana's "central rogues gallery").

Brock Lesnar vs Omos. I predict a Hurt Business Reunion and Lashley and Omos joining forces. Omos wins

Austin Theory vs John Cena. I predict Theory wins, Cena puts him over

KO and Sami vs The Usos. KO and Sami wins and the crumbling of The Bloodline begins

Rhea Ripley vs Charlotte Flair. Rhea Ripley should win. In my opinion it should be a squash match. Rhea pulls a Bane and breaks Charlotte and rectifying the 3 year mistake

Night 2

Bobby Lashley vs Bray Wyatt. Personally I just hope Lashley no sells this hooky spooky bullshit and squashes Bray. Sorry to Bray fans, but what the fuck is Bobby Lashley doing fighting Bray Wyatt? He should be facing Lesnar in the blowoff match, also I'm sorry but this latest run has exposed Bray and I just can't stand him anymore

Hypothetically if a forbidden door ever opened between AEW and WWE, who would you want Chuck to face in a match?

Hmmmm, interesting question!

It would be cool to see Chuck come up against some of his old friends/rivals. KO, Sami, Seth etc. Ricochet would be an obvious choice too!

In terms of wrestling style though, it would be interesting to see him take on somebody like one of the Usos. They have a style that reminds me a bit of the Young Bucks and Chuck works well enough with them.

On consideration, I'd say Ricochet. The styles match well, he's small enough for Chuck to throw about a bit, and they have history.

As for Orange? Hm. Are we talking tag matches with Chuck? Because I feel like they'd put up a great fight against most tag teams in WWE. I'm not sure if Orange and Chuck's type of humour would mesh really well or really bad with the Awesome Truth boys, hahaha, would be interesting!

On a personal level, the New Day vs Chuck and Orange would be amazing for me, big fan of all of them.

For Orange on his own, I feel like he's at his best taking on people bigger than him. There's a lot of choice there in WWE though! I think I'd like to see Orange take on Gunther, thinking about it. I think the styles would match up well with how quick Orange is.

I'm curious what everybody else would like to see though!

Went from Disliking to Liking: Seth Freakin Rollins *What a comeback from last year!! *"A man I could talk about for hours" - Cody Rhodes *Ahhhh so could I Cody, so could I... And I will - in another post because it was getting waaaaaay too long for this one!! *The very short version is that Seth was the hero of WrestleMania 40 and also the most consistently solid and believable character all year long

Went from Liking to Disliking: Sami Zayn *Okay hold on hold on! Dislike is a strong word!! *This category is more like an "I don't get it" type deal. Like how I didn't "get" Seth Rollins last year. I didn't buy into what he was doing even tho I was generally having a good time when he was on screen and his matches were always fire *Same is true for Sami now. I didn't love what they did with him this year. The build to him beating Gunther at Mania was weird, Bron beating him in under 3 minutes at SummerSlam was weird, this OG Bloodline situation is weird. He's just at the center of a lot of odd booking/storyline decisions imo *BUT this year has taught me to be very patient so I'm hoping 2025 turns things around for Sami like 2024 did for Seth!! This OG Bloodline stuff could end up being reeeeeeeally good if they just tighten up some things *One of the coolest things about wrestling is how every single character has potential to be your next fav, even if you don't vibe with them currently *I try to always remember that when I'm feeling kinda meh about someone

Best match: Drew McIntyre vs CM Punk - Hell in a Cell at Bad Blood 🩸 *They say being in a HIAC match can change a person forever but what they don't tell you is that just watching one can also change a person *I have been altered forever *This match is 31 minutes long and not a single second is wasted *Absolutely brutal and I love it so much *Also I finally started liking CM Punk after this!!

Best in-ring moment: Cody Rhodes finishes his story 🤩 *I mean what can I even say *Genuinely perfect

Best out-of-ring moment: The Rock beats Cody Rhodes bloody in a rainy Chicago parking lot *I was in the crowd for this one!!!!! Holy shit what a wild night

Biggest laugh: Crowd at Backlash - France singing that Phenomenal song whenever AJ Styles did anything in his match with Cody *LA LALALA LA LAAA LAAAAAAA

Thing I most want to see happen in 2025: Roman Reigns apologizing *If they do this right I will be sobbing on the couch *I WANT to be sobbing on the couch!!!!

It's been a bonkers year. And very special to me. Sooooo many things were first-time experiences for me as a new fan. My first Rumble, my first Mania, my first SummerSlam, etc. My first time going thru the heartbreak of a tag team split. My first time feeling frustrated that someone was called up from NXT and then barely used - or worse, released from the company. My first time seeing brand new titles get introduced. My first Miz heel turn!! My first KO heel turn!!!! It's been really fun to be active in the community and aware that these are all tropes but still get to experience them like they're new. And I haven't gone thru it all yet!!

There's so much more I could babble about that happened because of wrestling. Taking my mom to a live SmackDown (she had no idea what was going on but she saw Ludwig Kaiser in a dark match and decided he's her favorite). Hosting watch parties at my house for every PLE to force my friends to watch with me (they like it now!!). Making bingo cards for Mania with a square that said "finger stuff" for Pete Dunne's small joint manipulation and hearing everyone in the room scream when it finally happened. Going to the CW premiere of NXT and getting mediocre pizza from CM Punk after the show. Meeting neat people online and getting to read their thoughts on every episode. Having something to look forward to every single week. Making art!! Writing fanfic!!! Unironically becoming a fan of the Final Testament!!!! Oh my god there's just so much and I have to stop now or I won't get anything done today

Also the list is very Raw-heavy but I like the characters and stories on there more than on Smackdown rn - that could change in 2024 tho! I wanna see more big things for Dragon Lee in particular 🐲

I'm just not personally fan of these two matching up. Their styles don't really mesh well. Braun's power moves don't really do it for me. Gunther is fantastic against all kinds (brawlers, high flyers, technicians), but I'm not feeling this 😕
