yah 👍 tl;dr our NOW-ex landlord harassed us for 7 months after trying and failing to run a rental scam. We had an eviction hearing this morning and literally 5 minutes after leaving the courthouse our now-CURRENT landlord sent us a lease to sign and agreed to let us move in this weekend. So yeah a lot of shit happened but 👍

did you go camping or something during July Political Hell Week
that's actually pretty close, bc I was technically on a campground and I was sleeping in a cabin- I could've been online if I wanted to? It was for the whole week, but it was a really really busy trip, I didn't get my phone out much at all, and now I'm home with an extremely sore body, a light brush of poison ivy, and a sunburn Hugo shared a bed with me on the trip btw so here's him
#he slept on one side of the bed and yes he did lay his head on the pillow consistently#every night he'd lay his head on the pillow.#but yeah I was in Ohio visiting people#and my days were just really packed so I was very unplugged#I did like.. there was a bunch of stuff but I went kayaking and I swam and did cedar point and the zoo and a zipline tour#and many many many many hours in a car.#and I'm really exhausted LMAO and I come back to the world in the state it's in. crazy#I didn't go on twitter At All on my trip#sergle answers#Hugo

yesterday was the 15th anniversary of me officially being in the fandom!

#kuroshitsuji#also on a slightly more interesting note#I was supposed to be home from Japan on January 3rd but literally just returned a few hours ago#while waiting for our original flight to board I nearly passed out and had to be taken to the clinic for an IV#(it was a mixture of stress / exhaustion / dehydration / period arriving a full week early for some reason??)#my sister stayed in the country with me and a long string of bad luck kept us there until Tuesday#we've been traveling for over 24 hours. not counting the cancellation of our Monday flight home. yes it has been a total nightmare!#I felt pretty weak for a while so it was good to have extra time to rest#but I'm so lucky my job is really low maintenance and that my sister's boss is nice because we both had to miss three days of work#and I'm glad I can work from home because the time change is going to take a while to reacclimate towards#anyway. what a relief to be home at last! I missed my cat so much

hm. idk, maybe the reason Luke Newton isn't announcing new projects or posting any Bridgerton content is because some of you demons treated him like hot trash instead of a creative that you wanted more work from and he decided fuck it, this isn't worth the stress. you know, like a lot of creatives who get mistreated do?
like this is a man who went from couch surfing in a friend's house and bartending to make ends meet, deciding that the Bridgerton audition was the last one he'd do before he quit, to suddenly being recognized on the street because that last audition propelled him to star in a global show where fans who have zero media comprehension blamed him for his character's actions and literally stalked him at any hotel he happens to stay at. he went from being a dude doing musical theatre and shopping at thrift stores and recording random songs with friends and posting silly memes on Twitter to being harassed on his only social media page and his friends insulted and his partners bullied by his supposed 'fans' and anything he posts being so microanalyzed that he can't do a damn thing without someone coming out the woodwork screaming about how he's the WORST and won't he think of the FANS!?
like damn he can't have a girlfriend without being harassed, he can't travel without being harassed, he can't like or not like social media posts without being harassed, he can't post a fucking MEME without being harassed, he can't take a vacation or cut his hair or hold someone's hand or just live his life without being blamed for some bullshit or another. but yeah, okay, 'when will Luke Newton come back?' as if it isn't your fault he's AWOL now

Honestly? Good anime imo! I really enjoyed Aileen. I enjoyed Claude. I enjoyed Isaac and Keith and Rachel and Almond and Ribbon. I enjoyed Belzebuth and the flock of ducks (Walt/Kyle/Auguste) and Jasper.
#i'm the villainess so i'm taming the final boss#aileen lauren d'autriche#hey so i love her and that show was really cute#i really enjoyed the interactions and despite the huge cast for a 12 episode show i was endeared to most of them#however im also just incredibly biased to liking side characters so you can have a small role and i love you#but i really enjoyed how things that happened in like episode 3 for instance w keith were resolved#BUT in a later episode he brings it up again and how he still felt guilty#and i just really like that while people do bad things it shows motives and stuff#and those that deserve forgiveness (keith) can get it even though it isnt like... full redemption cause he still holds it against himself#and then those that are undeserving get to go to prison in ep12#im on an otome kick lately bc i havent been able to game much due to low energy#but i managed to do some otome-ing#so then i was also like yeah time to watch an otome isekai bc im living up to my outed at work weeb life#get you a villainess who can cross dress for four episodes and dress up like a duck and kick butt#technically there is more of her boysona in more than the 4 but there are just like#5-8 she presents as a boy For The Plot#sorry this show has actually absorbed all my brain for a couple days if im honest#also i have like zero energy and probably will have low energy for the week bc holidays stress me out even tho#we do not really celebrate much at my house and its really casual#its just so much busier on the roads and driving is exhausting
