THE BUNKER:

🚪 No joke, I forgot if they ever mentioned what the name of the bunker Uzi lives in is called.

🚪 ANYWAY, what if besides making big ahh doors, the Worker Drones also used the DDs' overheating issue against them? So their colony is designed to be very warm, not enough to overheat a regular Worker Drone, but just enough to gradually affect a DD. Sorta like a contingency for if they ever infiltrate the bunker.

🚪 Could also add an aspect of the bunker having a lot of lights and being very vibrant, to play with the fact that the DDs are bug themed in this. This + the idea above would kinda make the colony like a big ahhh bug zapper.

🚪 Does this mean that the colony is a lot more serious about the DD issue and not just playing cards all the time? Nope! Still a bunch of incompetent silly billys.

NEXUS:

🐾 Finally figured out his trauma: Extremely knowledgeable with vehicles and zoology, but given that no one seems to care about cars and all biological life on Copper-9 is dead, his knowledge is almost entirely useless.

🐾 Puts up with all the bullying bc he sees it as his own punishment for being a burden on his peers.

🐾 I need to make his backpack bigger. I want it to be big enough to fit all his friends in (well at the beginning of the story, I guess it does since he has no friends). Note to self: make a doodle of this.

🐾 Might scrap the school bus idea and instead have him find a military car of sorts?

SERIAL DESIGNATION Z:

🪰 DDs aren't as short as her. In fact, she was a little taller as a Worker Drone. L and T got a lot taller tho LMAO

🪰 I like to imagine she would get along well with Tessa and inevitably picked up some of her characteristics. Thus, Z is now "The Scavenger" of the DDs, looting the carcases of her victims and using it to build... Something.

🪰 She always loses to her teammates if they ever spar, even though she's a really good fighter. L just likes to take advantage of her low self-esteem, and T disturbs her, to say the least.

DISASSEMBLY DRONES:

🔺 Okay but listen, I am absolutely crazy about their overheating weakness. So it's like their DD specific features (interchangable hands, wings popping out of nowhere, and nanite acid tail) all require a lot of power, but they're still working on the same amount of power they had as Worker Drones.

🔺Rarely ever gonna draw em, but the DDs should all have different insect wing types. Just to show I did like. At least a little research.

🔺 Antennae for receiving signals from their other squad mates. Possible to intercept and listen into.

🔺 Possibly giving each of the DDs a unique ability related to their titles. Small hints to the others, but I'm considering "The Watcher" for L and "The Travesty" for T.

🔺 The titles aren't an in universe thing btw, I just like foreboding names.

With how i played the the dlcs over all me and my friend Lo (@/oiulse) would choose which boy to play the dlc and stream it on call, so Lo picked Baxter and i took Derek, it was really funny cause casual constantly played in our heads during the Baxter dlc (bless lo btw for gifting me both dlcs labyu oomf 🫰)

With how i feel with BOTH dlcs

When i played the first moment from dereks dlc my voice started like acting up from how long THAT specific moment was, maybe its just me but the first moment in particular felt really long, I get it though its the first time ur meeting the suarez family and in no way did i NOT enjoy it, but there were indeed moments where im like DAMN ITS STILL NOT OVER cause of how tired my voice was getting LMFAO, all the other moments were rlly fun my favorite one from the dlc was where u hang out with liz on daddy day and there was an option to gift a card to cliff 🥹, his step 4 was also a bunch of fun i loved the family bonding get to do with the suarez brothers (u can just tell that i love family aus) and getting to hang out with derek made me love him more as a chr, HIS STEP 4 VOICE IS STILL A JUMPSCARE TO ME FROM HOW DRASTICALLY DIFFERENT IT IS (no hate to the va btw) STILL VERY FUNNY THOUGH HAHAHA, i made it so that Derek, kori and cove get to be neighbors before the both of them get married so now they hang out LOTS

With THE Baxter FUCKING Alexander Ward

I heard from another friend that the baxter's dlc was gonna be angsty and i was like oh hell fuckin yeah i love angst! AND THERE CERTAINLY WAS ANGST ILL TELL U THAT MUCH, since i was watching lo play through the Baxter dlc i will admit there were a few times where i spaced out cause ANOTHER fun fact, we played the dlcs like really late on my timezone so i was either drawing while Lo was playing or i was in the brink of conking the fuck out, i was able to know what was going on overall i think the ONLY moment i like fully spaced out on was when the mc and baxter were like out drinking or smth and there was this entire thing with the bartender and the singer, that specific scene in particular i was fully focusing on smth else and it wasnt till later that when i played the baxter dlc for myself that i knew what was finally going on, since me and lo have our castaways au to think abt while playing these dlcs we were building aus upon aus of what lo's mc would do when meeting with baxter again after 5 years its fun lo has never been the same since and neither have i, the angst was good soup and i can see why baxter's dlc was more expensive than derek's LMFAO

But ironically enough the dlc that made me cry was DEREKS DLC,,, that moment on the step 4 epilogue with the brothers having a heart to heart is going to be MY ROMAN EMPIRE, I FUCKING LOVE FAMILIES BRO GAUGHHHH

hi there!! so I was recently looking for visual novels to occupy my time with, and I came across 21 questions, so I played it. and I loved it. so I played tulipe. and I liked that one a lot too. then I checked out your social media and I was really curious about the ✨️paranormal club lore✨️, so I just played all of them-

I didn't realize it when I was playing the game, but I've seen a lot of your our life art here on tumblr and I can't get over how pretty it is! even when it's just doodles that you do for fun, I still really like your style cause you make everyone look so nice. even if you're just drawing clem in a clown suit, we still love that

I don’t usually draw anymore because even though I used to like it, I feel like I lack all motivation to do it now, but seeing your art is really giving me inspiration to pick up a paper and a pencil and start drawing again :D

I personally share your love for visual novels, and I enjoy replaying yours because they're honestly so nice. I guess I just like seeing the way the story progresses and how relatable the characters feel, especially as a non-binary person who struggles to see themselves represented in games. plus I just like the voice acting in 21 questions

if I'm honest, even if it wasn't my usual genre of romance, night shift was a good play as well, especially for your first game! I can feel the inspiration from horror games and I love those types of things sm. I get why you'd wanna go back and redo it someday, but I think especially in terms of the plot and characters, it had a captivating plot and it was well written... françoise betrayed us tho rip

also this isn't about the games but from what I've seen, it honestly feels like you're a really nice person who happens to be really talented and so you deserve really nice things. even if you haven't been getting them until now, I hope you do start because you deserve it!! Now i am so sad to spread bad news BUT…. The canon ending of 21 questions is the platonic ending. 21q happens in 2019, Clem move to London in 2021 and ( spoiler alert ) will be spotted in Apple bag which takes place in 2022. Clem’s character and story haven’t entirely been revealed in his game for reasons that I’ll hopefully share in a futur but it’s for the same reasons that realistically… the relationship in 21q is destined to end with distance.

BUT that not the end if you imagine a future with Clem. If your intention is to romance them then there is an open window for the timeline where he’s a bit older. When exactly ? I won’t spoil but all I have to say is that this relationship can work on long term ! It’s just a good person, wrong moment situation and once you know everything about him, then his romance options become more real :}

It has taken me far too long to get the chance to respond to this ask and I have been so impatient because adjsaklfhaskghjd someone actually saw and enjoyed my unedited babbling about avian!mumbo :')

anyways I think I already said most of what I have coherent ideas on, and the rest is just nebulous vibes and happiness and fluff and hurt/comfort potential, but! I can share doodles and also reiterate/expand upon stuff I have already said

(putting it below a cut so I can make it soso long)

WING FLAPPIES!! I feel like this would definitely be something he'd appreciate about having wings, because I feel like it would be a more satisfying expression of emotion than like. stomping or bouncing or whatever. He would also totally struggle to control his avian body language, you can read his wings/ears/tail like a book, he's so unused to paying attention to and stifling his bird gestures. (Grian finds this beyond hilarious especially, because he can read Mumbo even better than everyone else being another avian)

His wings are red and black, though I haven't entirely decided if I'm gonna switch which goes where to make it match Grian's wings better. Since Grian is a Scarlet Macaw, Mumbo really ought to be too, but that would look just. so goofy. with his color scheme

AND SPEAKING OF LOOKING GOOFY- his wings look so silly for the first couple weeks. Until the feathers grow in properly, they're just kind of gradually more fluffy. raw chicken. wings. stuck to his back. because that's what baby parrots look like apparently! And then also pin feathers, before finally being pretty feathery bird wings

He also just accidentally passively collects the other members of Boatem's clothes. Grian does this too, but intentionally. Mumbo just does it without realizing and then gets confused about it because he doesn't understand the whole nesting thing, so someone else has to explain it to him

Oh and Mumbo tries to just go about his life without any changes or accommodations for his wings at first, because he doesn't want to ruin his clothes or generally have to change his routines. Grian and the others do not put up with this and persuade him to take proper care of the wings instead (<- this is a constant uphill battle for months)

On a more overarching note, Mumbo initially Does Not Like the wings, because they're just tiny and kind of ugly things that get in the way of his elytra and make him have to get all his shirts edited and they don't really do anything but cause him problems. Then once the wings start getting feathers and stuff and they have to start making preparations for learning to fly, it kind of becomes a bit of a bonding thing that brings Boatem together, with Mumbo starting to get used to them and accept them, and everyone else being able to help out with their care some (preening, stretches and exercises...).

Ultimately (probably sometime around HC 9), Mumbo ends up quite loving his wings in the long run. Once they're fully grown they're actually pretty impressive (since he's so tall they end up being a fair bit larger than Grian's, much to his annoyance) and Mumbo ends up putting a fair bit of effort into their upkeep and keeping them all nice looking (at least, when he's not too busy with other projects). He does still find a bunch of the other avian traits a little embarrassing (nesting, chirping, dietary restrictions, wings giving away his thoughts...) but he gets used to them.

Gonna be blunt, head is a cluttered junkyard and I'm a rambler with zero self control when right conditions are met [you ask about Special Interests]. plus am tired and really out of it from work cause we had inventory and i ordered too many lunchables [oscar mayer can go to hell]. Will do best to make this coherent, or at least intelligible, but apologies if it's a bit of a mess.

Age Headcanons [If we're going for what they are in game]

Short answer: Soutarou is late 20s-early 30s, Tatsuki ranges between 15-18. [tho ofc when I draw shippy stuff it's an AU and they're both early 20s]

Long answer: Actually thought about this on and off a decent bit and could never really get more than a vague, "Somewhere around this area" for them.

Soutarou is somewhere between late 20s and early 30s. He's old enough to have experienced some shit, try to get clean and back on his feet and get some manual labor experience, and have that ripped from him. Plus some time to isolate and have those thoughts wreck havoc on his mental state.

Tatsuki on the other hand is messier and harder to really give an age to. They could be a kid escaping into fairy tales to avoid reality, or a young adult [18-20] that was forced to grow up too fast and is now suffering from dealing with their fractured identity [have thought about Debris endings occurring around Tats 18th birthday, because they have the "You're not a child, so why do you hold onto such stupid childish fantasies?" thoughts to go on top of everything else and it sorta just breaks them.]

Misc Uro Headcanons

Big Deep angsty Uro hc/kinda what shapes her core for me

You might've heard the quote, “I think the saddest people always try their hardest to make people happy because they know what it’s like to feel absolutely worthless and they don’t want anyone else to feel like that." by Robin Williams. This more or less summarizes my view of Urotsuki at the core. She may not be weighed down by what other dreamers have gone through, but she knows what it's like to be trapped in darkness and though it may not show, she is doing her best to make others happy because she doesn't want others to go through that. [side note: this is huge part of reason for shipping her with Tatsuki. Feel like they'd be the same, tho Tats is way more introverted. That angsty, "You see through the smiles or notice the little things and softly nudge me to say you understand and are there." sorta thing].

Going off that; for the longest time have hc'd that Uro has struggled with an ED and self image issues in the past and a big part of why she loves food and is okay with being herself, and is so supportive of others doing the same, is because she had to fight to get to where she is and is doing her best to make sure others can simply see the joy in life without experiencing the hell she went through.

More lighthearted/Uro's a goofball hcs

Uro is somewhat lactose intolerant but keeps getting sick because she won't. fucking. stop. eating cheese. Or questionable foods in general. "It smells alright so it's probably fine." [narrator voice: It wasn't fine] sorta things.

Probs mentioned this one before but eh, Uro and Sou are one of few dreamers with a drivers license, and Uro's driving doesn't exactly leave most passengers feeling safe so Sou is constantly stepping in when she offers people a ride. The two bicker at each other like an old couple a surprisingly good bit when eyes aren't on them. This paired with them both being older and able to get drunk makes for quite a scene. [Sabi's laughing, Tats is on the floor trying and failing to hide it.]

She did have a dedicated dream diary at some point, but during a depressive period would start to fill and decorate it with random stuff [silly doodles, poems, stickers , ect], and it's now more like a thought scrapbook or therapeutic outlet for her. Pages that are just her jotting down memories that make her happy have little sticky note bookmarks so she can flip through them when feeling down.

Her head is a mess and all over the place, and her counting sheep is like a ritual she semi-depends on to fall asleep since it gets her to focus on one thing and relax [its a sorta behavioral dependency that if she was somehow barred from doing, she'd probs stress out and not be able to sleep.]

Remember crayon Edgar? I drew this one at the same time! Loosely based off Circus Baby but really just more of a general cutesy look - layering with colours is fun :)

Eyes, every year. Two general eyes, and two characters! Bottom left is Souichi, and bottom right is Vivian :) Vivian always gets a spare eye haha

Some concept art for a false backpack I still kinda wanna make - it’d be a prop for a game I made earlier this year, as the prize container! It’s meant to be kind of like a pop-up shop that can fold away fairly small and hold a bunch of small items safely and inconspicuously, though it wouldn’t actually work as a real backpack lol

Some Cherubsona concept art, thinking about their hair and the light rays - I considered having a single asymmetrical hair tuft, I think while I was still on the fence about having asymmetrical wings as well - I’m happy with the final design :)

And some baby angels! Based on my DQIX/AGE headcanons/actual canon lol, took a few tries to get a design I was happy with before settling on the bottom-most one with the fuzzed ears, lolling about haha. Cute!

Also thinking about “Fallen” designs, since my cherubsona is meant to be a fallen angel - or even just biblically accurate angels! Maybe they became more normal-looking after falling haha

Technically these are from later in the year but I was really hoping to have the set up for a silly concept rolling - Ishida wants to play a game! The game would allow each of them to take a turn, with the goal of the game to be to sneak a gift into the other’s bag or pocket when he’s not looking. A cute and silly and fun concept to reverse pick-pocket the other and give a little treat! Totally harmless and not at all strange or weird or with any kind of underlying sinister vibes!

The punchline of course was that since they’re both yanderes that it basically turns into stalking each other, which as featured here, Mitsu is very into, who could have guess lol. The double punchline is that they’re both so aware of/obsessed with each other that they notice each other right away, but play along because it’s obvious that they’re both enjoying it haha It’s yandere enrichment! Ishida would also get a real rush from “hunting” Mitsu, as would Mitsu enjoy being “hunted” - yet more twisted love languages ♥

Bucket! :D Been a bit since I drew anyone from that cast, though I somehow made him on-model by accident lol, and of course he’s still cute! That’s the important part really

Eyesssssssss <3 <3 On the left were some quick comparisons between dot/filled-in eyes and eyes with a differentiated pupil and iris, since I’ve been defaulting to dark eyes a lot lately (it’s the Vargas influence lol); and on the right were a bunch of Cure eyes! I think at least partially studied off of some character creators? Lots of eye styles to choose from, which one suits her the best hmm. She has very sparkly eyes

And another sort-of study off a character creator haha, it’s very cute! Not very Cure, though

One of the early ideas that made me want to dig her out of storage was actually an animation idea that was maybe a liiiiiittle ambitious to go about making without her having a fixed design lol - I’ve always been a fan of magical girl transformations that completely glow-blot out the body and then they explode into frills and bows and fluff at the end haha. I would still like to come back to the idea at some point!

Ended up with a good handful of muscle studies, even after the ones I already posted - a lot of the poses ended up silly haha

And a lot of skull/face/neck studies as well, with mixed success :P

Out of general studies and tests - hey I thought Just Desserts already had a sona??? And that she was like the most important and best and all that?? I got curious what my sona might be in the JD universe without being the villain haha, and I came up with a Chocolate-Chip Brioche Bun lad! :D I’ve always had something of an affinity for brioche, also somewhat inspired by Edgeworth’s cravat haha. But would Charm still exist and be wreaking havoc, or would this be the alternate universe Charm equivalent?? ‘Cause they’re definitely not “Charm”

Speaking of Charm tho! She’s holding a tooth lol - something something, candy people mining teeth? Because cavities? I dunno lol, but she’s certainly not all that much bigger than a tooth so that’s some fun scale for you :)

» I mainly post about drawing (both traditional and digital, I also mainly do sketches and doodles), so expect a lot of art from me! I also write, so maybe some of that too. Aside from writing and drawing though, I also sing! Except I'm pretty self conscious about my voice, so I think I'll be sticking to drawing and writing. For now, atleast. I also play the piano, but it's been a while since I've laid my hands on one so I'm a bit rusty. And, as you can tell, I'm also a professional yapper (/hj)

» ...I'm gonna be so fr, I have no idea. And, no, I'm not named after Princess Peach from Mario Bros. Surprisingly enough. Most people I meet on the internet think that's the case but, no. I have no clue how I came up with the name.

One more PJO x PRSK post before hiatus

Like I mentioned before - I'm going away for a few days and I won't have access to my tablet, so no doodling anything. I will be able to reply to asks, although it might take some time. I will also schedule a post about Prima Vista, so you know I'm still alive

(a friend of mine started praising that I put mi🅱️uki and kanada together, but in reality i just simply had an idea for both of them, good my friend's happy tho)

I did already mention some Kanade shenanigans, like the fact she regularly goes out of the camp to visit her human dad. She makes a huge sacrifice going out, with her sensitivity making her light-headed all the time, but hey, that's why she always has someone to accompany her.

She can fight a little, but yeah, it's pretty difficult for her. Instead she works with people higher rank than her during nighttime. It's either simple watch patrol or she practices tending to wounds. A LOT of campers dislike being admitted to her, because... Well, being tended to by a child of a god of death isn't a good sign, despite Kanade being the cutest awkward creature ever created on this planet and actually being pretty decent in patching up wounds. Her gemstone searching powers aren't really much of importance to her - if she ever uses that, it's mostly for negotiations (she's not affected by a curse like Hazel) or for distraction (the classic "throw a coin" situation, but it's eith literally any shiny rock ever).

If you want to ask how she wasn't exploited for that power - the gems don't appear next to her for no reason, she summons them willingly. Simply saying, nobody knew about it, not even her, that is until she found out.

Now, Mizuki.

What did I mean by transformation powers?

Mizuki is naturally talented with making costumes and applying makeup, to the point that they can easily appear as someone else.

Makeup they apply can easily make the optical illusion of having a different face, nose or even eye shape. They can either create a whole fake identity on the spot or imitate someone else, which is a pretty scary ability, but quite fitting. They can get perceived as a whole different person based of their appearance at the moment.

They can pretend to be anyone, but they definitely prefer to imitate girls more often (self explanatory). Appearing as Ena is a pretty successful prank on the real Ena (also Akito, but he quickly figures it out, since Mizuki can't speak when imitating someone - their voice doesn't change).

Also I already mentioned it, but imagine the Aphrodite claim going like this

Aphrodite trans beam (/hj, the closet may be glass, but Mizuki hasnt actually came out YET. On another hand, I like the idea of Aphrodite affirming her children's gender identities while claiming them as hers.)

Also, Mizuki was probably one of the first ones from the cast to get admitted to their respective camp. So yeah, no way of anyone else really knowing, besides the ones who canonically know, like Rui.

Now, a very interesting thing I designed for them - their needle cushion they have on their wrist.

Mizuki can fight with a normal weapon, but those "sewing" needles (not actually for sewing) are their secondary secret weapon.

From the cushion's backside, there's an opening where they can put any liquid inside. After closing it, they can wear the cushion on their wrist and push the needles into it to let them soak in whatever liquid is inside. It could be centaur blood, it could be something to paralyze someone overtime, whatever non-lethal thing - or actual deadly poison. Although the last one is only for real battles and never for practice, wouldn't wanna accidentally kill a campmate.

The needles work against monsters AND demigods, so that's fun! Don't fuck with Mizuki!

also ft Crystalized WP au morro <3 i'll probably make separate posts for wp au lore sooo im not gonna go into detail ab his design other than whats noted on the page already. 1. White streak - turning back human after being the wind has its quirks (Nya has a matching one) 2. Sharper Teeth - same as above 3. glowy eye whites + purple freckles in their green eyes - see 1. 4. Purple glowy markings ONLY when trying to/using his element - just.. assume all of these were wind related before this alr. 5. Studded gloves, "for murder" - usually relied on his element or fists to fight, so hes not... rlly useful against the crystal army lol. 6. Long hair "must b tied up" - is what it says on the tin. 7. Combat boots - ... they're cool alr. no more crystalized Morro, the only other thing i think on this page that i kinda have to.. explain? is the rat. Goblin. She is, in the wp au lore (got that au needs a name HELP), Morro's pet rat, gotten a little after season 9, and kept until a little after crystalized (rats do NOT live long). She is "morro's favourite princess", due to her stupid evil spoiled nature. But she's hella sweet when it comes to Morro and eventually Pix so shruuuggg. Pixal takes care of her during the year that Morros the wind :( other than that, little notes of my hc prns for Morro and Pixal, bc I'm gonna start putting these at the end of every WP related post. Pixal - He/She/It + rarely They/Them (Prefers more masc related words) Morro - They/He + doesn't rlly care that much otherwise, use what you want. (Genuinely doesn't care what kind of terms/words you use for them, but DEFINITELY is a loser for when someone uses fem compliments/terms/words.) thats all ive rambled enough HFDJHFSF

QUICK LIFE UPDATE:

So yesterday was a really terrible day for me. I had just gotten fired from my job and I've been moping around all day. I was already in a tight financial situation for the past few weeks (taking out multiple loans and losing more money due to commuting issues) and now I don't know how I'll be able to afford my rent, food, etc. Till I find a new job. I felt really hopeless since finding a new job is already a hurdle in and of itself and I've got bills to pay pretty damn soon.

But I've realized this could be a perfect opportunity to pursue something that only seemed like a pipe dream. Let me explain. . . At my previous jobs, my coworkers and even a few customers would always say how they liked my digital art (because I'd mention that I dabbled in drawing whenever they wanted to get to know me more and my hobbies. Y'know ✨socializing✨) and how I could probably get into making money from my art. . .of course I always doubt myself too harshly even when the compliments and praises come from my family and friends. . . But now, I think I might have a shot at honing in on my skills. Now that I have the time and I still have my art tablet and a brand new computer (that I still have to figure out how to pay off 👀. . . .)

But anyways. . . Earlier I was super depressed and stressed out the whole day. Until I randomly remembered to check my mail and got my package from a Patreon subscription that I'm subscribed to and I'm a huge fan of! The sticker above is a gift from one of my favorite extremely underrated creators. @hasaniwalker . His story of Doris Doodle and Dawn Doodle is super inspiring to me (even tho it's about silly haha cartoon characters 😅) the emotional journey and the protagonists story really resonates with me. . . and for a moment, I kinda correlated Doris' experience of losing her career with my own. The hopelessness, the despair, the fear of what's next. . .

Doris' struggles in some weird way were like my struggles. . . (Or maybe I'm just projecting and over analyzing too much pfffttttt 😅) But I digress. . . As I stared at this silly little sticker, I started contemplating the efforts and dedication he must have put into this passion project. The trials and errors of trying to bring this project up off the ground. The creator of this underrated comic is one of my many artist role models. A real life glimpse of what I could become someday. An artistic storyteller. A visionary hoping to make something meaningful to my audience. A Creator.

So this is my official notice to y'all if anybody is actually caring to read all of this lol I will try my hand at doing ART COMMISSIONS. I've still got a lot of research to do first though, like how to price stuff and all the other technical details. But I've got a lot of support from my loved ones and artist friends to help me on this journey of pursuing my dream job as a artist (even though I might not be good enough right now and it sounds naive and a bit too optimistic. . . I can at least try, right. . .?)

TLDR: LIFE SUCKS AND IM GONNA DO ART COMMISSIONS SOON TO MAKE IT POSSIBLY SUCK LESS???
