Nelson Piquet, who was very mischievous, used to tease him unmercifully. Once Piquet said he’d found Balestre’s hotel key in the pitlane, and gave it to him. It had a metal tag attached which said, ‘Admit one prostitute to the room of the president.’ Another time Balestre was making an endless pompous speech at one of the drivers’ briefings, and Piquet was standing beside him with a litre bottle of mineral water, pouring it into the pocket of Balestre’s blazer. Everybody could see what he was doing, but it was a while before Balestre became aware of the wetness seeping through his trousers.
hey nelson quick question what the fuck

remus lupin x reader
🌙 dancing in the moonlight 🌙 Remus: apple pie by Lizzy Mcalpine
i went off topic but u guys love me
warnings -> james and sirius are dicks but they mean well ! , none i'm kidding <3 unedited !! might not even make sense im struggling ^_^
nothing ever felt truly right to you, you worried a lot about the future, whilst also never enough.
you could never answer their questions, "what will you do after hogwarts?" you always felt embarrassed when you lacked a reply, lacked something meaningful like others.
teachers, nurses, officials— it all felt pointless to you.
or when they asked what'd happened to the last person you'd dated, or perhaps when you'd get engaged, even celebrity crushes never lasted. your mind could never settle on someone, or something.
nowadays you warned anyone you met, anyone at all. you'd made excuses, maybe you couldn't handle being tied down, maybe you'd never make for a loving parent. who knew.
it wasn't different for remus. not at first.
—
"this seat taken?" he hummed, sitting in the seat before you could even answer. truth be told the library was silent, as long as he kept quite the seat was his.
"i guess now it is." you retorted, eyes never leaving the book in front of you. you weren't necessarily indulged in the guide, but you did need to get your classwork done and this was the first step.
his eyes seemed to linger on you, you could feel it. like he was analysizing you, as if he didn't quite understand something about you. but it really made you rather uneasy.
"you're in my defense against the dark arts class, aren't you? the one with the loud mouth?"
"excuse me?" you looked at him, he gave you a questioned look as if he failed to see the problem with his remark. but, it hadn't even been the right person he was thinking about.
"always saying shitty jokes in class? expecting people to laugh? if that doesn't ring a bell—"
"we're not in the same class. i'm a friend of lily's, if you find me familiar. now please keep your remarks to yourself, i'm rather busy. it is the library."
he seemed a bit suprise by the outburst you portrayed, however he simply stared. almost in awe, most people ignored his remarks or simply moved on— mostly on account of his pranking reputation.
he left after awhile, only to tell his friends of what happened. james and sirius agreeing that their next target ought to be you, without remus' permission, and without telling peter— who was known to be a fowl liar.
the idea was to call it a revenge plan, with no real ill intent involved. truth be told, no one was really upset with you for telling remus off, the boys, including remus, likely would have taken your side.
however, any chance to prank someone was taken, and quickly. even if they often took it too far.
—
that day was no different, walking down a long corridor on your way to potions class. you never liked the dungeons of the castle, but you were more than willing to venture there for an a.
you happened to have this class with sirius, james, and lily. james had almost ratted himself out to lily, therefore the seat next to her was open— sirius having forced him to sit with him.
days with lily at your side were always the best days, potions class went by easily with the talented red head. plus homework was always made better with her.
"hey." you greeted, pulling out the stool and sitting in it.
"boy am i glad to see you," she began, a glare shooting james' way, "watch out for those two, they're acting weird. asked me where you sit the other day."
your gaze followed her glare, focusing on the two boys who were holding back snickers. you sighed, remembering the run in with remus the other day.
"i accidentally snapped at lupin the other day, i didn't think he'd take it to heart or anything."
she shrugged, promising she'd try to talk them out of it before the lecture began.
lily walked you to your next class, knowing the boys wouldn't try anything with her at your side. but, she couldn't do much else till the end of the day.
the day seemed to drag on, worried that at any moment you'd turn purple and fly to the moon— an exaggeration, maybe, but it was still as terrifying as that.
with the marauders boys you never knew— any moment you could have a mob of angry people thinking you disliked a particular band, or perhaps a proffesor would make you beg for forgiveness for something you hadn't done.
it wasn't until you stood covered in red and gold paint as people pointed and laughed, that you knew what your fate was. you wanted to shrink into yourself and never face anyone again.
even your housemates— friends, albeit everyone but lily and remus himself were laughing. with lily in shock, it forced remus to be the first to act. he was at your side within an instant, a glare shot straight at his friends who no longer found the ordeal funny.
he pulled you from the audience's eyes, forced to comply with no other hope you allowed him to. you could feel the anger flustering in your chest, you wanted to smack his pretty face. push him down, maybe even kick him while he's down.
"here." he slid his robes off, helping you pull yours off. luckily, you'd had the buttons done at the front, unintentionally shielding the dress shirt and slacks underneath them. you stared at the robes he extened to you, it didn't make much sense.
"why are you doing this? haven't you had your fun, lupin." his name sounded like poison on your tongue, if you'd been looking at him you would've seen his proper wince. he knew it looked bad for him, but explaining himself over helping you would have made everything worse.
"i really do mean well." he sighed, still extending the robes to you, having thrown yours to the side. "i had nothing to do with that, my pranks are much more.. organized."
he only continued when you threw him a glare, he was digging a hole. "i didn't mean for them to do this, really. you don't have to believe me, but at least take these and then you can be on your way."
your face softened after moments of silence, as much as you hated to admit it he was right. his prank would've ruined you, whilst theirs simply put a damper on your day. he was offering you robes because he was sympathetic to you, he didn't feel you deserved that.
you took the robes, looking at him, "thanks." you paused, there was a funny feeling settling in your chest. unfamiliar, yet you could identify it. the feeling of security, safety, possibly the idea of a future.
even if you could've walked away, you found yourself looking back at him, "are you my classmate, the loud mouth?"

Vander x Reader-A Surpise On Valentines Day
For the lvoely @conretewings 💛 who requested the prompt Valentines Day on a budget
I know my Valentines Day Drabbles are running a little late -I'm sorry- this last week has just been super hectic! But I am hoping all of the stories will be posted at the end of this month!
Word count:500
I hope you all enjoy this! 💛
“Vander?” Y/n called out, knocking on the door of the usually bustling bar, that tonight was unusually quiet.
It was silent. Earilly so.
Especially for a night that should’ve been full of people seeing as it was Valentine’s Day.
“Y/n,” four familiar voices said in harmony, making Y/n almost jump out of her skin, as they opened the door to the Last Drop.
Vi, her little sister Powder, Mylo and Claggor all shared a very suspicious look on their faces.
“Did we scare you?” Vi smirked.
“Maybe,”
“We totally did,” Mylo teased, nudging Claggor slightly.
“Where’s Vander?” Y/n asked; glancing at the four children.
“He’s uh-he’s busy,” Mylo stated, his tone completely different to a few moments ago.
“Busy doing?”
“He’s making-” Powder began very excitedly before Vi carefully placed a hand over her sister's mouth, only adding to both Y/n's confusion and curiosity.
“Way to nearly ruin the surprise,” Mylo muttered, earning a death glare from both Vi and Powder.
It wasn’t meant to be loud enough for Y/n to hear; yet she did.
“A surprise?”
“Congrats, Mylo,” Vi hissed, before turning her attention to Y/n.
“Go in,” she said simply; opening the door behind her.
Cautiously, Y/n did so, expecting it to be a prank they were pulling on her.
But when she was inside, she saw a table that was at the center of the room with a singular lit candle flickered in the middle of the table. A white tablecloth with hand drawn love hearts covered the table that two plates and matching cutlery were on.
It made her heart melt.
“You’re early,” Vander said, snapping Y/n out of her thoughts, making her look up at him and the trays of food he was carrying.
He seemed stressed.
Very stressed.
“Do you need a hand?” She asked softly; trying to hold back her smile.
“No,” he answered simply, setting the trays down on the bar before walking over to Y/n.
“What I need you to do is sit down,” he continued, pulling out her chair so that she could sit down in it; she did and he pushed the chair back in.
“What’s all this for?”
“Valentines Day,” he cooed, placing a kiss on the top of her head before taking the plate in front of her away and heading back to the trays of food on the bar.
Money was tight for both of them most weeks; she didn’t exactly earn a lot and although Vander had a good income, most of it went on the children and keeping the bar open. So they’d both agreed to not do anything for Valentine’s Day.
And here he was, with a closed bar, treating her to a homemade meal.
“Vander, you didn’t have-”
“I wanted to, darl,” he continued, as he placed down a plate of food in front of her.
“Happy Valentine’s Day,” he smiled, leaning down to place a delicate kiss on Y/ns lips.

The act could continue. Mark's cover had not been blown, and the Damien before him was no wiser to the truth. For now, he was safe.
The time traveller's immediate reaction to Damien's offer was understandable. If it had been the other way around - where Damien had travelled back a century - he could manage thanks to the things he has learned over the years. To go forward is unprecedented. There's no gauge for what has and hasn't changed. After all, the last century was one of the most accelerated eras of development and growth in the country. A lot did change.
"It has changed. The buildings in this part of the city would be more akin to the architecture you would be used to, but there are some buildings beyond here that take on a style that may almost seem absurd." That was a good start, hopefully. One step at a time. "There are far more vehicles on the road, and they travel faster. People's sense of fashion is... Well, I suppose the movement started by the flappers helped pave the way for a better chance of expressing oneself through what you wear and how you style your hair."
There was a very slight chance that this was still a very elaborate prank. But now the focus of said prank had shifted from "this is someone sent by those who don't like me as mayor to insult me and everything I stand for" to "this is someone sent by strangers to cause confusion".
"You don't need to apologise, Damien," the modern mayor insisted, slowly rising to his feet. "I'm overdue a break anyway. In fact, my companion who is supposed to be keeping track of that has been neglecting his duties. Barnum? We're going out."
There was a pause. No one came through the doorway. Instead, there was shuffling from behind Damien's desk, just out of view. Then, a small, fluffy, black and tan dog appeared in view as he reviewed the situation. Such a change from what might have been expected, yet there was still a trace of a familiar look.
Absurd buildings? Faster vehicles, unusual fashion? Maybe it isn’t so bad as Damien says. Take the mayor himself, for example: his outfit isn’t the one the past Damien would usually wear, but it doesn’t look that out there.
Is he just trying to assure himself? No. No, definitely not!
“Knowing somewhat what to expect does make me feel better.” Mark glances to the window, beyond which sits an unfamiliar place, an unfamiliar time. “Though I worry it may simply be something I can’t imagine, so nothing I think will prepare me for it.” A more freely expressive fashion… Hm. At least he has something interesting to look forward to. He’d like to ask Damien a million questions, but the less he talks, the less likely it is that he might say something to give himself away. It will be an exercise in keeping his mouth shut. That can’t possibly go wrong.
He nods, accepting Damien’s insistence; although not without a guilty expression. A step away from the chair and Mark is ready to leave. He didn’t get to bring any possessions with him, now that he considers it. This better not be a long stay. It would be preferable to not be as overdue a break as this mayor seemingly is. It’s on the tip of his tongue to politely inquire about Damien’s companion — friend? Secretary? Other?
But the name he calls makes Mark’s borrowed limbs stiffen, and he turns around expecting a hat and moustache. “William?”
Not William. Definitely not William. Now he just looks stupid, staring at a dog like he’s a human ghost. On the bright side: there isn’t an upset colonel in the room? He relaxes with a weak laugh. “I suppose this is another naming coincidence. This little fellow is yours?”
#and so the story begins (thread)#starring: blueheartedmayor | damien truman#blueheartedmayor#the shepherd is a wolf [v: mayor]#i'm here to show you the future (queue)#(barnum! :0)#(we’ll see if mark passes the sniff test)

When he rejects you | Chongyun, Scaramouche, Albedo
a/n: hello friends!! i apologize for my somewhat disappearance TwT im currently having exam season but i couldnt help but write something for my favorite three (and yes, scara is there... and honestly, I don't know when I started simping for him either but you can now call me a future scaramouche haver >:)) so not a request, but do enjoy !! <3 (apologies if there are any errors!!)
pairing: chongyun x gn! reader, scaramouche x gn! reader, albedo x gn! reader (platonic)
Chongyun
★ Chongyun, Xingqiu and you had been best friends since you were kids. And although you were a trio, you and Chongyun had always known each other much longer.
★ If your life were a book, it would be a sweet childhood best friends growing up together genre, something that often piqued Xingqiu’s interests when he drags the two of you to Wanwen bookhouse
★ The books you had borrowed from Xingqiu about them all ended with the same thing; that they end up becoming a couple and growing up together. Reminiscing about their childhood youth when they were old.
★ You knew not to trust the books or use them as a guide, but just like the books, you had grown to fall in love with the icy-haired boy.
★ Chongyun was like a breath of fresh air. His determination in exorcising ‘evil spirits' to the point that he blindly falls for Xingqiu and your pranks were the things that you loved about him. He was filled with enthusiasm and positivity (literally).
★ You grew into enjoying his positive attitude, you couldn't imagine a day going by without Chongyun telling you and Xingqiu about a so called 'haunted' place he had found, and forcing the two of you to come with him. and even if it had ended without meeting a single spirit, he would still be in high spirits.
★ you loved it, seeing the rush of thrill he feels whenever he senses a spirit nearby, hoping the spirit was able to withstand his excessive yang energy. the repeating days without one successful exorcism, only to end up getting treated to a meal by Xingqiu, and the parting that always ends with a promise to see each other the day after. Chongyun speaks his emotions, and you were in love with that.
★ and him, just in general.
★ And one day, you had decided to tell him just that
★ You were both on the hunt for Jueyun chilies for Xiangling, a small commission that you had decided to take on while waiting for Xingqiu to finish his work at the guild. The sun had set, and you had returned from Qingce village with a bucket full of the chilies and had decided to rest on top of the mountain where you had both Waypointed to just to admire the sunset.
★ In the heat of the moment, you had spoken.
“I like you, Chongyun,” you had said, looking at him with a smile.
★ You would have accepted a silence. You had expected it to be like the books; he would gently laugh and look at you, admitting that he had been waiting for you to say the exact words, lean in to kiss you. It would be awkward at first, but it’ll also be something to look back to in the future when kissing becomes something you do every day. You’d return back to Liyue Harbor hand in hand, and be able to tell Xingqiu and Xiangling that he was your boyfriend now, and admit to the former that maybe his books were right.
★ But instead, you were met with Chongyun’s wide eyes staring at you. His cheeks flushed red with what you had tried hard to hope was shyness, but had appealed more like panic. He had stood up and cleared his throat
“We- we should get back,” he says, too quickly for someone as calm as he is. And you knew it was a wrong step, “I’m-,” he clears his throat, “I’m going to go ahead first. I'm sorry,”
★ You didn’t know if he was apologizing for leaving early, or for not being able to accept your feelings, but when you hadn't seen him the following day, you could only assume.
Scaramouche
★ Honestly, you had it coming for you.
★ Scaramouche is someone whose life is their job. There was nothing that could distract him from working for the Tsaritsa
★ You had (been self-entitled) as his best friend. And honestly, if Scaramouche knew of it, he doesn't blame you. Everyone in the Fatui and who worked under the Fatui knew how close you were. Which was odd because, for one, you were absolutely nothing like him. Although you weren't exactly liked by everyone, you weren't loathed by everyone like the sixth harbinger was.
★ Scaramouche was feared by anyone who hears his name or walks a foot away from him, while you carried a calmer aura. Without glancing, Scaramouche could bring his subordinates trembling, while they would greet you when you pass by them.
★ You were polar opposites, and yet, everyone has seen the two of you together so much that when he wasn't with you or the other way around, people would assume you were on a solo mission or just leaving the other’s quarters
★ Of course, being his best friend, you weren’t spared of his usual harsh words. As a matter of fact, you probably had it much worse than anyone else. It had almost seemed as if every time he spoke, he spoke like he was trying to get rid of you.
★ But if that really were the case, then he hasn’t been trying his best. You had stayed with him since you had become an ally to the Fatui, and ever since then had stayed by his side. When others shake in fear, you shake your head with a laugh and a retort.
★ It had even come as a surprise to you when you had realized you had fallen for the harbinger. You would think that spending time with such a foul-mouthed person who would murder someone in the blink of an eye with no hesitation would make you dislike him. But that didn’t happen.
★ In fact, it was quite the opposite. You had fallen in love with him.
★ It wasn’t obvious to anyone, and even you had to take the time to squint to look for it. But Scaramouche did care for you in his own way. Whether it be toning down the harsh words when he sees your mood dampen after a mission, or beating the shit out of a person who had attacked you ruthlessly, not stopping even after his hands were covered in crimson liquid and the person almost certainly died. Even if he calls you a hindrance afterward for dirtying his hands, he definitely thought of you the same as you thought of him.
★ A friend.
★ Or, you had hoped, something more.
★ It was a mistake to take his slight kindness as a sign of him liking you, it truly was.
★ During your journey to Inazuma for a mission, you had decided to confess to him out of the blue. You knew he was someone who could predict the outcome of something even before you said anything, so a slow confession when the sun was setting in a field of flowers would just be a waste of time. if there was something you learned, it's to cut to the chase with him.
“Hey Scara,” you had said quietly. He had replied with a low hum, not turning back to look at you, “I like you.”
★ Without a second thought, Scaramouche had taken you by surprise as well.
★ He had not stopped in his tracks, instead, his shoulders shook in laugher. His laugh wasn't the same laugh you hear whenever you make a stupid mishap or get slightly injured during a simple mission- no, those laughs were warmer. Although laced with unkindness, they were more familiar.
★ This one was condescending. As if you were a new recruit again, having to work under him. As if all those years as friends had just gone down the drain.
“Stupid. What a fool of me to assume you were different.” he says, voice clear as a bell in the night, “don’t be an inconvenience. I don't have time for people like you.”
Albedo
★ Ever since working under Albedo with Sucrose, your life had been nothing but full of wonder. Although some were dangerous, Albedo and you bonded easily as if you had worked together in a past life.
★ Albedo was a genius. He was someone you looked up to, and sometime during your investigations, he had become a friend. You didn't know when it started. When it had gone from two alchemists staying the night in Dragonspine to observe the different stages of new plant growth, to- with the permission of the acting grandmaster - just two people, two friends, going out to explore the seven nations.
★ Sucrose and Timaeus had stayed back in Mondstadt to finish experiments that you both had decided to put on hold for your trip, and with nothing to worry about, the two of you had gone out with nothing but the protection of each other (and your visions, of course), and a few packed meals from Good Hunter.
★ Albedo had a side that no one saw unless they spent nights camping with him in the middle of nowhere. You were one of the lucky people who were able to see that side of his during your trips around the seven.
★ The alchemist wasn't just curious about the way the world works, he had also been curious with, well, you.
★ Some nights when he couldn't go to sleep (which was often. You’d be surprised to see how messed up his sleep schedule was), he would sit in front of the fire you had both worked hard to make, and simply talk.
★ sometimes, it would be short conversations. but more than often, you find yourself talking about everything and nothing until the sun rose above the mountains, and you would have to continue your journey until one of you (usually being you,) were too tired to continue.
★ Albedo talks with passion, no matter what the topic is. He could be talking about what you were going to be having for dinner for the next night before you reach the first region in your trip, and he would already have you captivated.
★ Albedo also talks with gentleness. And this was the said side not a lot of people would be able to see from the chief alchemist. Whenever the tent was filled with comforting silence, you would be able to hear Albedo asking you questions about yourself. They weren’t your standard, what was your dream growing up? Kind of questions, but they were more specific. More… personal.
★ Is it not funny, how life works? What if a single moment had changed in the past, I and you wouldn't have met. He would question, eyes trained to the flames burning in front of him. It sounded rhetorical, but his tone was laced with wonder. He sounds as if he was expecting an answer, but he doesn't urge you for one. And every time he does, you merely hum.
★ Albedo was gentle in everything he did. Almost all the time you were with him, he had never acted brashly. He was patient, kind.
★ and that was most likely what had prompted your crush on the alchemist
★ crushing on Albedo was like looking up at the stars. he was someone who shined brightly, but you knew he was too far to reach, yet despite that, you had still attempted to.
★ you had decided to finally let it all out on him the night of your final stay before you reached your final region, which was Inazuma.
★ and that, you had realized a little too late, had been the icing on top of a really terrible cake.
"Albedo," you had stared, and the alchemist immediately turned towards you. that was something you had grown fond of. you knew Albedo was a man married to his work, so when he turns to you in the midst of it, you felt your stomach churn in delight, "I have to tell you something,"
“Hm?” he hums, setting his notepad down to give you his full attention, “what is it, y/n?”
★ You took a deep breath, and the moment you had opened your mouth to tell him, you had a sinking feeling you had made a huge mistake.
“I like you, a lot,” you muttered, “not just platonically, Albedo. I… I think you're really interesting. and if you'd like, I would love to be with you. ”
★ Albedo’s face had fallen, and although it had been the slightest, you had still noticed it. He looked at you as if the cogs were turning in his brain, and finally, he looks down
“I must apologize,” he starts, and you feel your stomach drop, “but I’m not interested in you that way, y/n. If it makes you feel better, I see you as a very dear friend,”
★ You nod, apologizing to Albedo before he offers a small smile before continuing his research
★ You both did not speak of it, but there was a very thick air of silence hangs over the two of you afterward, that didn't dissipate even after you both left the camp.

Resurface
Steo | Stiles x Theo | things went a little different in this version | thus the: a little bit AU tag
"You are mine, Stiles! And I'm yours. We belong together!"
"Dude, what the fuck are you talking about?!?" Stiles pushed Theo away. The chimera just tried to hug him.
Theo was gritting his teeth. Trying to fight off the 2 creatures in him. He was clenching his fists so hard when his claws extended, piercing his palms. That pain somehow helped him stay grounded. He heaved as he saw the blood dripping from his fists. He kept taking deep breaths to calm himself down.
He was so hurt. He's emotions are a mess of anger and sadness and confusion as to why Stiles cannot understand what he was talking about.
"What happened, Stiles? If this is some kind of a sick prank, stop it. You have no idea how much you're hurting me, baby. Please." Theo pleaded with teary eyes and that 'please' finished on a cracking voice.
"B-Baby? What are you saying? You're insane!" Stiles stormed off.
Stiles left Theo on the parking lot. He walked fast to his jeep and hopped in, slamming the door and immediately starting the engine. He glanced at Theo who was still standing where he left him. Still breathing heavily and clenching his bloody fists. Stiles cursed as he drove away.
Stiles pulled over when he was in a safe distance from the parking lot. He slammed his steering wheel and grabbed at his chest. He felt so... weird while confronting Theo. The chimera said so much crazy things. That they belong together. And calling him 'baby'.
What's even crazier is that Stiles didn't feel awkward when Theo called him that. It felt... oddly familiar. And it drove Stiles crazy. Ever since Theo came back, Stiles kept feeling on edge. It's like something in his mind is trying to come to the surface. And his heart kept beating fast as if trying to make that something resurface faster.
"You know him?" Liam asked Scott and Stiles.
They had just defeated a strange creature in school that tried to steal Scott's powers. They were helped by a new werewolf.
"I know I look nothing like when we were kids." Theo answered.
"Theo?" Scott remembered.
"Hey, Scott." Theo nodded. He then looked at Stiles. "...Stiles." Theo greeted him with a smile. Expecting something from Stiles.
But Stiles stayed frozen on his spot. Theo furrowed his eyebrows at that. He was expecting Stiles to come running to him and then hug him and kiss him. But none of that happened. They just took off as the rest of the pack thanked Theo.
Stiles went on to their senior scribe with Scott and the others. Scott asked him if he was okay because he didn't look happy to see Theo. Stiles simply answered: that's not Theo.
And that's what Stiles went on with for the rest of the days that followed. He was suspicious of Theo. And he made that known to everyone. Scott seemed to really remember Theo. But still Stiles insisted that they interrogate 'Theo' in the locker room. There, Theo narrated what happened to him and how he was turned into a werewolf.
"I came back looking for a pack... I also came back for you, Stiles." Theo stared at Stiles, expectantly again.
Stiles looked back at Scott to confirm if Theo was lying. The true alpha shook his head, confirming through Theo's heartbeat that their childhood friend wasn't lying. Stiles still did not believe Theo.
He kept suspecting Theo of everything that happened after that day. And the chimera grew more restless as the days went by.
"What happened?!? Why is my Stiles like that?" Theo questioned the Dread Doctors. "I did what you asked me to do. You assured the effects of the Wild Hunt will not apply to me!"
"It is not always accurate."
"Fix this!"
"Nothing can be done."
Theo walked out of the lair and proceeded to enact the Dread Doctors plans. Theo kept doing what he was told while trying to get closer to Stiles who kept moving away from him.
Things went on as planned. Theo got his pack. With the price of killing Scott and losing Stiles's trust. He hated it. But he wanted a pack and this is what the Doctors gave him. He wanted to try one more time to get Stiles.
He snuck into Stiles's room and saw the whiteboard of all the mysteries Stiles was trying to solve. And in the center, is his name.
"What the hell are you doing here?!?" Stiles reached for his bat.
"I'm not here to hurt you, Stiles." Theo held his hands up.
"Really hard to believe, Theo." Stiles has the bat in ready position. To hit Theo's face if needed.
Theo looked deeply into Stiles's eyes, and he knew the other teen wasn't faking the 'I don't understand what you're talking about' situation. He shook his head and sighed.
"You've really forgotten." Theo said in a surrender. "No matter, you and I belong together. You will be by my side, Stiles. Hopefully, sooner."
And with that Theo left Stiles. He wanted to fix this but The Beast is an urgent matter. And dealing with it will also keep Stiles safe.
Everything was going well, his chimera pack even worked together with Scott's to uncover who The Beast is. But not everything went Theo's way. He was sent to hell. The ground opened up and he was dragged below. He tried to fight it but he knows there is no escaping it. He held onto the floor. Calling out to Stiles.
"Stiles! Help me, Stiles!!!" Theo pleaded as he got dragged down.
Stiles just watched as Theo disappeared. His heartbeat and breathing was erratic. He was uneasy. As if his heart and mind were telling him something. Something important.
But the days went on. A new problem arrived at Beacon Hills: The Wild Hunt.
"Remember me, Lyds!" Stiles screamed before he was caught by the riders. The next thing he knew, he was in a train station.
And then something hit him... memories.
Memories of Theo. Theo confessing to him. Him saying yes. Theo hugging him. Theo taking him on dates. Theo kissing him. Theo calling him baby. Theo tucking him to sleep and saying 'I love you.' before sneaking out his room through the window.
"T-Theo?" Stiles was crying now. He ached from all the memories and the feelings that came rushing back to him.
They do belong together. Theo is his boyfriend in middle school. For some reason, he couldn't remember anything after that. Even when seeing Theo there at senior scribe. And then the wild hunt arrived. He figured out that Theo could've been captured by the Hunt as well before, that is why he forgot about him. But Theo got out. He should've remembered him, right? But he didn't. Why?
"Ohmygod! Theo!!!" Stiles understood now. Theo looking at him expectantly that night. Theo trying to get close to him. Trying to get him with him. "Ohmygod! Oh shit!" Stiles started bawling. He kept wiping at the tears that kept running down his cheeks. "How could I forget?!? Why did I fucking forget?!?" Stiles started pulling at his hair. Beating himself up for not remembering his boyfriend Theo.
He gets now that that feeling he got from seeing Theo is not really suspicion. But something else.
Theo rose from the ground and immediately looked at who freed him from his hell. Liam briefed him of what was happening and what he was planning.
"Scott approve this? How about Stiles?" Theo said while flexing his claws.
"You remember Stiles?" Liam blurted out.
"Why wouldn't I remember Stiles?" Theo replied.
Both were silent for a while and having been in the Wild Hunt, Theo figured out the whole situation. And he knows exactly what to do. He had to break Stiles out of the Hunt. The Dread Doctors' experiment on him; sending him into the Hunt for research, is definitely handy right now. He would do everything. Everything. To get Stiles back.
Meanwhile, Stiles saw Peter in the Hunt as well. Peter saw him crying his eyes out. In that moment, Stiles was so down and lost hope that he told Peter everything about Theo.
"I just don't fucking understand why I couldn't remember!" Stiles stomped his feet on the ground.
"... You, ignoring the feeling and the anxiety meds." Peter scoffed.
"What?"
"It made you suppress that itching feeling of something, well someone, missing in your life."
Stiles went silent. All those years of anxiety was his subconscious trying to tell him to remember Theo. All the overthinking, the uneasiness, the insomnia. "I gotta get out of here, Peter."
"Well, I have an idea." and then Peter showed him where the riders enter and exit the station.
Theo ran around with Liam and the others. So many plans, so many plan Bs as well. Some hitches here and there but they manage to get Stiles back.
"Stiles!" Lydia hugged him by his jeep, the place where he reappeared after getting through the rift his friends opened in the Hunt.
"Lyds! Ohmygod! You remembered me. You guys did it." Stiles hugged her.
Lydia then drove them back to the pack house to see the rest of their friends. They all took a few minutes to get the memories of Stiles back and when they did, they all hugged him. Stiles was teary. He was so thankful that he got back with his friends. But it would've been better if his boyfriend was there.
He wasn't made aware that Theo was back, so when Liam came back from the extra room with a chained up Theo in tow, Stiles froze for a while and just stared at him.
"Theo." Stiles muttered under his breath.
Theo was chained, hands and feet. And he has dried blood on his face; his nose, the corner of his lips, and his eyebrows.
"Why is he bloody?" Stiles asked Scott.
"... Malia."
Theo wiped his nose with the back of his hand. "I guess I should get going. Oh wait, I can't!" Then he held his chained up hands.
"Oh yeah, it's time you get going." Liam held up Kira's sword.
"NO!" Stiles startled everyone with his very firm and strong 'no.' Everyone looked at him. Theo was also surprised of his reaction.
Stiles and Theo's eyes locked onto each other. Stiles was holding it but Theo broke it. He looked away. He sees no point in it. Stiles doesn't remember him anyway; is still what he thinks.
Theo looked back at Liam to have him unlock the cuffs on his hands and feet. Stiles just kept watching Theo, who rubbed his wrist that was hurting from the weight of the cuffs. He then said goodbye and started to walk out of the house.
Theo was walking towards the door, where Stiles is. Theo stared at Stiles as he walked by. Stiles suddenly stopped him by placing his hand on his chest.
"Theo." Stiles said, voice cracking a bit.
"Welcom back, Stiles." Theo said after looking at the hand on his chest.
"I remember now, Theo... baby." Stiles whispered.
Theo's eyes widened. "Stiles?"
Stiles hugged him and cried. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry." Stiles kept repeating. And Theo kept hushing and assuring him.
"It's fine, Stiles. It's okay now." Theo kept rubbing Stiles's back, just like how he used to before.
Scott and the others were confused at the sudden change of treatment of Stiles to Theo. They looked so familiar with each other. Like they share something between them that is definitely more than just friends.
Because at that time, Stiles and Theo were already kissing.
"I'm so sorry, Theo. But I remember everything now." Stiles said before kissing Theo again.
"It's okay. I forgive you. But you have a lot of making up to do, babe." Theo said as he lifted Stiles up against the wall and started kissing Stiles on his mate mark on Stiles's neck.
Stiles whimpered and cursed from the sensation that rushed to him from the kissed and sucked mate mark.
"O-kay, I think we should all leave for now." Scott figured what was going on. Stiles and Theo are together, and it seemed like they were from way back. Maybe they kept it a secret to everyone, including him. He will get the whole story from Stiles later. Or maybe tomorrow. And then Stiles moaned as Theo made him wrap his legs around his waist. Yup, Scott is definitely gonna ask about it tomorrow, not tonight, tomorrow.
Scott signaled for everyone to leave the pack house. Leave Stiles and Theo alone for the night.

Heyy idk if this'll make sense but,, I'm ugly (or at least not as pretty as others) and a lot of times guys would be dared to say "oh my friend likes you" while laughing at me. It made me very insecure growing up and makes me suspicious of compliments now... idk if anyone can relate but can you write a fluffy comfort scenario with Bokuto, Kageyama, or Tsukki? Maybe with reader laughing at a confession because she thinks it's a joke or something? Thank you, I love your work and stay healthy ❤️
Aw bby~ I’m sure you’re absolutely goregous <3 hope you enjoy your request!
Insecure S/O Reacting To a Confession (Bokuto, Kageyama, Tsukishima)
This is set in a time in which you’ve developed trust issues because a confession before had been a joke- so a little angsty ngl
---------------------------------------------
Bokuto
“She’s not coming, is she?”
“Calm down. You told her to meet you after school- the bell let out less than five minutes ago.” Akaashi’s voice sounded through the spiker’s phone as Bokuto releases a bigger sigh than he expected. Nervousness tingled through his muscles while the burly boy seemed to tremble in both excitement and fear for what was to come, leaning against one of the many exits to the school as golden eyes scoped the area for your figure.
“Today’s the day, Akaashi, I just know it!”
“Yeah. You said that yesterday. And the day before that one. Not to mention every day for the past month-”
“I think she’s coming!!” A hand slipped out of his pants pocket as he pushes off the wall giddily.
“Well, be careful- I don’t know if you heard about it, but-”
“See you at practice, my #1 Wingman!”
Bokuto ends the call, the last thing he hears being a sigh of Akaashi’s at his abrupt cut off. That could wait. A growing grin began at Bokuto’s lips as you, confused, approached him with a crumpled paper in your hand- looking as beautiful as ever in the eyes of the ace.
“Bokuto-san...?”
“You made it!”
He couldn’t see the hesitation in your steps, or the nervousness in your movements for the national-known volleyball spiker had his gold eyes downcasted at his feet, a hand nervously coming up to rest on the back of his neck as he internally prepares himself.
“Was there something you needed from me?” You wrung your hands out, biting your lip as you seemed to fidget in place, the scenario being all to familiar with what you once had to go through. However, you knew better- it just simply wasn’t possible.
Bokuto was always friendly towards you, but previous events had placed a limit in your head on just how far that friendliness just happened to extend. Until-
“Y/N...do you maybe want to go out with me?”
Your jaw slackened a little as you still in shock, watching as the boy you thought was eons out of your league blushed a little, squeezing his eyes tight as the question came out rushed, the words fumbling over each other.
But you still heard it.
Your chest sunk and heat flamed in your cheeks as you push out your first instinct- a laugh. A laugh bubbled up in your throat at the question, and Bokuto opened his eyes, confusion and anxiety rising in his stomach at the sound that still made his heart race. Nervously, he began laughing too.
“Alright.” You make out between giggles. “Who put you up to this?”
All laughter stopped on his end as you continue to giggle, but your eyes were a tad bit poignant as your fists clenched at your sides. Bokuto straightens, furrowing his brows at the ridiculous question.
“What do you mean?”
“I mean, this is a prank right?” Your voice wobbled. “Was it Rui? His friend Droy?”
“Y/N, what-?”
“You shouldn’t play with girls’ feelings like that, you know?” You continue, smiling yet your eyes screamed of another story. “But in my case, it’s funny- right?”
Bokuto blinked, mouth agape at the accusation in your words as you take a shaky breath, trying not to show weakness as Bokuto takes a careful step in front of you. Was this what Akaashi was trying to tell him?
“Y/N, I’m serious!” The ace exclaimed, causing you to finally meet his eyes with your slightly watery ones. “You’re absolutely goregous, there’s no way this is a prank!”
“Y-You’re taking this too far...”
“I’m not, because there isn’t anything to take!” Bokuto grabs your hand in his, intertwining your pinkies as you can’t help but smile a little at the childish gesture. “I promise you, Y/N, I like you! Way too much, I’ve been trying to tell you for the past month now, but...you scare me. In a I’ve-never-had-these-feelings before kind of way.”
You find yourself leaning into his palm as Bokuto smiles, golden eyes gleaming genuinely as he cups your face. “Who made you think of yourself this way?”
“N-No one in particular...” You lie, looking off to the side as you feel yourself being tugged gently into the sweet boy’s chest, causing you to yelp a little as Bokuto crosses a boundary, digging his face into the juncture between your neck and shoulder.
“Please.” You stop trying to push him away at the sincerity in his voice. “Can I change that? I can. I promise you I can, if you give me a chance!”
Shakily, you look up to the sky, feeling Bokuto’s warm breath on your neck as he spoke, wondering if this was worth learning to trust again, your arms wrapping around his mid-section as you did so.
Your voice quiets, cracking slightly as you hold him back just a little tighter.
“One chance. Don’t let me regret this.”
Kageyama
“This is ridiculous, you moron!”
“Trust me, she’s gonna love it Kageyama-Kun!” Hinata flashes his setter a big thumbs up as Kageyama groans, glaring into the bouquet of flowers with pink dusted across his cheeks. After Hinata had snuck a horribly written note into your shoe locker- Kageyama couldn’t put his confession off anymore, much to the setter’s dismay. Admiring you from afar had been enough, and confessing you face to face had once been a daydream-
“Can’t I just, you know, text her?” The raven haired boy attempts to escape one more time as Hinata points a finger to the spot where he was standing stubbornly.
“Nope! As if you could get her number anyway-” Hinata dodges the hit coming his way with ease, sidestepping as he continues his tangent. “So you’re going to stand right there and wait for Y/N-chan to come! I’m going home now, and tomorrow- you better have a newly minted girlfriend!”
“I should’ve never asked you for advice.”
“See you tomorrow, and you’re welcome.”
Kageyama scoffs, snarky reply falling on silent lips as Hinata mounts his bike and takes off before he can get it out, leaving the blue-eyed setter standing at military position near the courtyard, red roses tightened in his grasp around the less thorny areas. He hoped Hinata was smart enough to not mix up the two locations.
“Kageyama-Kun!”
Said boy almost drops his flowers when you round the corner, now changed out of your school shoes as Kageyama swallows- a futile attempt to aid his now dry mouth. You took small steps towards him as you find a lump growing in your throat at the scene before you, memories flashing in your mind at what once had been.
Regardless, you managed a tight smile as Kageyama blinks once. Then twice as if to make sure this was really happening.
“You...wanted to see me about something?” You question formally, ignoring the red hue of the roses as Kageyama stutters out a response, bright blue eyes darting all over the courtyard.
“I...um....you are....UGH-”
In any other circumstance, you might’ve found this cute- but the only thing you could think of was how good he was at acting.
“Take your time.” Your eyes dim down a little as the familiar unease rises in your stomach.
“D-Date!” Kageyama manages, the pink on his cheeks now turning into a bright red. “I want to g-go on a date with you...!”
You press your lips together as a heat pricks the corner of your eyes, the one image you didn’t want to remember blurring perfectly over the one in front of you.
.... Again?
Kageyama curses, offering you the roses with one hand shakily as the back of his hand covers his mouth, blue eyes seeming to glare off to the side in utter regret. “I heard you like flowers, s-so....”
“You don’t need to do this, Kageyama-Kun.” You find yourself saying, surprised at how stable your voice was as Kageyama’s arm slackens a little, the bouqet lowering in height as he takes in your words- in his case, your response.
“It’s cruel, you know? I get it- you’re popular, attractive, and people want to be your friend- but this? I know I can’t be with someone like you the way I am now, so you have to show me firsthand?”
“Huh?”
You chuckle humorlessly at the genuine confusion in his voice before laughing a little. “It’s hilarious, isn’t it? Poor, naive, ugly girl believes for just a second that the boy she likes wants her back.”
Kageyama’s eyes widen a little, still trying to process what you’re saying as the roses fall slack at his side. But the only thing he’s able to get out, is-
“Wait, you like me?”
You spin on your heel, flustered you admitted it, before beginning to walk off.
“Goodbye, Kageyama-Kun.”
“W-Wait!” Before he can stop himself, he finds himself grabbing you from behind to stop your leaving, your eyes widening as the bouqet of flowers remains tightened in his grasp as he does so, your back against his chest. The aromatic scent fills your nose as he successfully stops you from going anywhere.
“I-I don’t know why you think you’re ugly or any of those things, but you aren’t.” Kageyama mumbles quickly, and you’re shocked to see that he’s trembling at the touch. “But I wasn’t lying, or trying to play you. I want to go on a date with you...and if you like me too, there shouldn’t be an issue, right?”
“Shit!” Kageyama releases you right away, and you step away subconciously as you find yourself believing him, a hand over the clothed part of your chest as you do, cheeks blooming with a pink of their own.
“...I think I’d like that.”
“Like what?” Kageyama questions obliviously as you groan, blushing in a way that made the setter want to admire you even closer than from afar.
“The date, don’t make me say it!”
The blue-eyed setter releases a sigh of relief, his heart being sent on an emotional rollercoaster coming to an end as he chuckles the slightest bit at your embarrassed stature, offering the roses again in a now relaxed-manner.
“Right. So can you maybe take the damn flowers and be my girlfriend?”
Tsukishima
“I regret this. I’m going home.”
“Tsukki! No!” Yamaguchi whines, pulling on his friend’s sleeve for the second time in six minutes.
“She isn’t coming. Waiting outside her classroom is creepy anyway. She might’ve even already gone home.” Tsukishima says straight on, glancing at his childhood friend before the freckled boy could interject. “What are you even doing here?”
“Moral support!”
“Yeah, could you maybe...do that somewhere else?”
Yamaguchi sniffs once, frowning. “I get that you’re nervous, Tsukki, but don’t take it out on me. Text me later and send Y/N my regards, okay?”
“I’m not nervous.” The tall blonde claims, swiping through his playlist when in reality- the butterflies in his stomach said otherwise.
“That’s all you got out of that?” Yamaguchi sweat drops, shouldering his bag a little more before waving as he begins to walk off. “Be nice to Y/N!”
“Wasn’t gonna kill her.” Tsukishima mumbles to no one as he’s left by his lonesome in the empty school corridor after school had ended, mostly everyone leaving or going to attend their club activities. He knew from Yachi who shared your class- that you stayed a little after school to study for a bit before leaving.
Tsukishima had discovered about his emotional surge towards you when you had visited practice one day to drop off Yachi’s notebook- only to notice you more and more each time you had passed him by to the point where you would smile and wave while greeting him by name. Soon, all other girls seemed to become see-through, leaving you bright in a sea of unfamiliar heads.
“Crap!” You stumble back, a relieved laugh filling the corridor as the blonde blinks, wondering how he had gotten so lost in his thoughts he hadn’t even seen you emerge or make himself known.
“You scared me, Tsukki!” You whine, shifting your bag upon your shoulder before blinking in confusion. “Wait, what are you doing here? Is the volleyball club off today-?”
“Go out with me.”
Your breath hitches at the sudden attack.
Tsukishima remains indifferent, thankful he was able to even say it, as he shoved his hands in his pockets, eyeing you seriously through his spectacles before you find yourself back there again. Back where your trust was stripped and your pride was stomped on before you smile- a smile that was anything but cheerful.
“That’s not a very funny joke, Tsukki.” You laugh a little, hand tightening around your bag strap as you refuse to meet his eyes, your gaze falling on his shoes as you become overwhelmed with past events.
“I’m not joking. Go out with me.” He repeats, not asking, but in a way where it sounded like he was basically telling you.
“...How far are you willing to go?” You feel wetness brim your eyes, but your smile still remains- shaky yet present- as your voice cracks differently from the way you used to call his name.
“What the hell are you-?”
A smirk and multiple laughs ring in your head from your memories before you finally snap.
“Stop screwing around, alright?”
Tsukishima’s brow quirks up once, and in the next few moments, you gasp as your back is suddenly touching a nearby locker- Tsukishima’s hand resting by your side to create the illusion of entrapment as he leans in to you, and you don’t have to look up to know that his gaze was searing into you with a mixture of frustration and something else you couldn’t pinpoint.
“Who’s screwing around?” His voice was quiet and irritable, and you swallow the lump in your throat as a few stray tears slip.
“I’m just a joke, right?” You mumble, barely audible as you breathe in his scent from decreased proximity. “You boys always toy with girls like they’re your little playthings-”
“Are you talking about that shitty prank that bastard pulled on you a few months back?”
Your eyes snap up before you can stop them. “You...know about that?”
“Why the hell are we here wasting our breaths on them?” Tsukishima questions, irritation evident in his tone. “I don’t do these kinds of things, ever, and you seriously think I’d be here telling you I like you as some kind of shit joke? Give me a break.”
You blink, believing his harsh words as Tsukishima sighs, relaxing his neck so his head falls on your shoulder.
“On the bright side you finally looked at me. Understood, I hear you loud and clear.”
You bite your lip when he moves to step away from you, your hands clasping at the sides of his shirt before you can stop yourself.
“I...I’ll go out with you, Tsukki.”
The blonde’s eyes widen a fraction as you bury your head in his chest.
“Just...please please don’t be like the others.”
“I thought I told you.” Tsukki’s pointer finger prods at your chin, causing you to look up at him as he leans down so your noses brush.
“You’re wasting your breath on the wrong thing, Y/N.”

surprise!! — [♡] ‧₊˚✩彡.
warnings: some cursing I think? the dead, and that's all !
To say the Black Cat B & B was bustling with people, would be an understatement. In one swift night the building had gained over 30 new guests, though they weren't exactly new. Every year, on Halloween day some higher entity granted the spirits that loomed in the Black Cat halls to become human once more, and every year since the very first opening of the B & B it grew more and more packed.
The tradition to throw a party for the residents that quite literally gave them a name was started long ago by Y/N's grandmother, she was a sweet woman, and she wanted to give back, asking the spirits at the time what she should do, they simply asked if she'd make it a night to remember.
So, Y/N and her fellow Black Cat members found themselves on the morning of October 31st, standing in front of multiple familiar faces, voices, and overall presences.
"Hello everyone, I know I do this every year but, it's great to have you all back, it's been an amazing year with all of you, we've had our ups and downs," she broke off, glancing towards the smirking twins, "but overall it's been amazing. I hope today is up to par and you enjoy it till your hearts can't anymore!" The speech had finished and with one swift nodd of contentment, the spirits howled a chorus of thank you's.
A knock on Iwaizumi's door startled him, while he was expecting someone he didn't think it'd be so early, perhaps she got the wrong time, he thought, but he was far from being right, for a pair of brightly colored haired twins stood await at his door frame. "Hey, we need to have a serious," the first twin paused and walked through the frame, shoulder bumping his, while the second twin continued. "Talk with you, hope you don't mind," replied the other, already in the room and sitting aloof Iwaizumi's bed. "Who the hell are you two? Did shittykawa put you up to this? I told him I didn't want any pranks this Halloween — would you get off my bed? Don't touch that!" He rambled out different strings of sentences but the twins paid no mind to them at all, continuing to invade the boy's privacy as they'd once done when they were invisible. "You have to treat our Y/N right, she's kinda crazy, and sometimes she doesn't think, although she'd like you to think she does, she's impulsive and needs lots of reassurance so be sure to give her that, " said the twin on the left. "And make sure you don't forget the little things, be a good boyfriend to her, we're trusting you with our girl," said the other. Both taking steps towards him, each patting his shoulder, seemingly in approval, they spoke once more in perfect unison, "Treat her right, or we'll end you," and with ghostly smiles they left the room, pure content on their faces.
In another room, Makki and Matsu sat fanning themselves, long hours of trying on their Halloween costumes had made their body temperatures high and they'd decided on a break, until a small, soft, knock interrupted them. "Oi get the door Makki," poked Matsu from the foot of his bed. The pink haired boy gave him a puzzled look from the other side of the room, "You're literally like ten steps away from it, YOU do it," he jabbed back, finger pointing accusingly at the space between Matsu and the door. The knocking came once again, Matsu lifted himself off his bed and walked towards the door, he wasn't sure what to expect but when he opened the door and in walked Kami, he screamed.
Satori and Kiyoomi had to share ingredients, Omi got first usage of course and Satori waited for him to finish, it was a dynamic that the two had gotten used to over time and all in all it worked really well...until you mixed in one mischief woman named Kanako. Normally she sits back and just watches Omi cook, but today is the one day shes allowed to actually help, feel, and offer herself as his true assistant. Kiyoomi quite frankly does not like it but it's better then hearing her whining 24/7 and upsetting her as he's done so many times (all accidents he swears). So, Kanako gets to help him however, yes she is always with him in the kitchens, she isn't exactly the best cook, but she's trying her best!
As night approaches and it's time for the real festivities to begin, the guest have gotten a few hours to socialize and meet the once a year guest, the twins are on their best behavior for Y/N and so is Hoshi, many of the spirits such as Blu or Izumi, are no where to be found, they're allowed to wander around so maybe just maybe they can be spotted later but as for right now, Y/N is worried about one thing and one thing only.

angie's love note: yeah I truly do not feel like this is my best smau-wise but writing wise I'm super proud of it !! anyways tomorrow y/n and iwa's journey ends! yes I'm crying about it
fun facts:
- the Halloween party was a success !
- iwaizumi and y/n danced almost all night, they shared a sweet kiss under the moonlight (much to the twins dismay)
- each twin danced with y/n and they shot smug looks at iwaizumi the entire time
- makki, matsu, and kami all got along surprisingly well and they even got him his own teletubby costume (originally for oikawa but he refused it)
- all the spirits had an amazing night and they loved every bit of it, in the end they all thanked y/n and the boys :)

The Burrow is in color again.
Fred Weasley x Reader
Summary - The Battle of Hogwarts, only, Fred wasn't alone with Percy. You had been dating Fred for a while now and he wasn't letting you out of his sight during the fight. Do you let him out of yours?
Trigger Warning - Death, angst,
Standing beside your boyfriend and his brother in the great hall once more felt strange. You were standing behind Harry, glaring at the man you once called your professor. While you never liked Snape, you did well in potions and that alone kept you on his more decent side. Now, you hated the man with every fiber of your being.
Your hand was tightly in Fred's, his position slightly in front of yours as Mcgonagall began firing spells at the dark haired man. Once Harry explained what the students were off to look for, you, Fred, and George ran to take a post.
As you ran off, you saw a few first years scrambling in search of guidance. Your hand slipped from Fred's, moving to the group quickly. "Hey, hey, it's okay. You guys are all first years, yeah?" you asked, your voice soft. Seeing them all nod, your stomach twisted. Just about all the first years were already at the station, loading onto the train now. "Okay, come on, I'm going to try to get you all to the train. Hold onto each other. Were going to have to apparate. You guys have no idea what that is, but you're going to hate it. It's the only way we can make it." You gripped onto ones arms as the rest tried to hold on.
"Woah, woah, woah. Where are you going" Fred voiced himself as he caught up with you. "They are first years, Fred. They can't be here for this. They need to catch the train." You turned your head away from your boyfriend, back to the kids. "Then we're helping. I'm not letting you do any of this stuff by yourself today." You nodded, George and Fred taking a few first years themselves, as you apparated onto the platform and directed them into the train before heading back to the school before the barriers were up.
"You can't do that love. You can't. Run off like that, leave me without you. I won't be able to live if anything happens." Fred held you close to him, his hands up in your hair. George stood behind him, looking you in your eyes, nodding in agreement.
You sighed, but understood the seriousness in his voice. You felt the same way about Fred - if absolutely anything happened today to him, you were genuinely unsure how you'd be able to continue on.
Seeing as how you hadn't been without Fred sense first year, the last thing you could handle was not having him. You, George, and Fred met on Hogwarts Express, them seeing you sitting in a spare compartment, alone, and absolutely scared out of your wits. You were a confident kid, yeah, but this was the first time you'd ever be away from your family like this, in a world you didn't know existed until two months ago.
They sat in with you quickly, warming up to you within minutes. From that day on, you three were inseparable. When they got into trouble, you got them out of it. While they were the notorious trouble makers, you were the one that kept them both level headed. George wasn't quite as bad as Fred, but he couldn't always control his twin brothers actions. You, on the other hand, simply had to look at Fred the right way, and he was changing the details of his lated prank to fit your expectations of him.
Looking back on it now, you were really stupid to not see how whipped he truly was for you, but now that you knew, you used it to the fullest of your extent, especially when you weren't focused on the war surrounding you.
The two of you had officially gotten together your fifth year, George finally tired of the longing looks you both shared and came up with his own task of getting the two of you together. It took him a lot longer than he cares to admit, but finally the two of you were locked in a broom cupboard, having downed a bit of pumpkin juice with George's brewed Veratiserium. You and Fred were spilling the truth of your feelings for each other faster than you drank the juice itself. Which lead to your own seven minutes of heaven that lasted a bit longer than seven minutes, thanks to the locked door.
Now, the two of you stood together, prepared to fight for each other and your entire families, against a man you had feared the last 9 years of your life. You took a step back, leaning against the wall behind you as you gave the twins a few moments together.
"You okay Freddie?" Your eyes watered with the risk that lied ahead of all of you, your body attempting to warn you of just exactly what was due to happen to the three of you in just a moments time. But, instead, you focused on the deep voice of the love of your life before you, smiling softly as he spoke. "Yeah." The one word filling your head, a tear falling from it's home in your eye to slip down your cheek.
"Me too."
You moved to stand between the two twins, your hands grasping both of theirs. While you dated Fred, George was still your absolute best friend. The three of you having spent more time together than you ever have apart. Your heart was owned by both of the twins next to you, but in two very different ways. Your love of Fred filling up your entire being, leaving you breathless and full of oxygen at the same time. Your soul fuller than it ever thought it could be now that he was the one that held you at night. But your love for George filled up your brain, leaving you absolutely excited for the moments that stayed there. For each moment you had with Fred, you also had with George. He was your family, your brother, and you loved him just as such. The three of you created a bond no one in the world could break.
Fred's arm wrapped around your shoulders, his face moving to press a kiss into your temple. "Well, boys, I think it's finally time for me to get behind your crazy plans and put all that prank knowledge to its use." They chuckled, smiling down at you. "After all this time, we knew you were paying attention"
The three of you fought together for as long as you could, but you somehow separated from George and instead, met with Percy. You hoped with all of your being that George stayed safe, along with every one of the Weasley's.
You stayed with Fred and Percy, listening to them talk about simple things. It wasn't until you heard Fred laugh and the rumble of a wall that your heard fell. Moving to shoot your own spell at the wall, you held it up until your energy left you, hoping it gave someone enough time to save the love of your life. You had seemed to step forward as you cast your spell, for the moment it broke, you felt the weight of the stone upon your own body. Your eyes closed as you felt the breath you had in your lungs leave you, the ringing in your ears fill up your pounding head, and the cry of the pain just barely leaving your mouth. You looked to your left the best you could, seeing a head of red before your body gave out.
You weren't sure what death was like, if this was it, but it wasn't what you expected. You expected yourself to be standing infront of a gate or something, filled with a freeness you had never experienced before. You anticipated seeing all the family members you had gone so long without, standing before you as you felt your heart swell as you saw their faces after the time you lost with them. You expected to get some kind of answer as to why the world turned the way it did just as you were growing up. Why you found yourself worrying about unforgivable curses instead of your next date with Fred.
Instead, you saw white.
You didn't comprehend where exactly you were, not until your eyes took you into the crisp kitchen, feeling a sense of familiarity as you took on the burrow as clean as what it was. It was strange to see it this way, without the dishes cleaning themselves up, without the wind blowing through the open window, without the noises that came with being at the Burrow. You felt calm, but not nearly as calm as you would in the normal home.
"Y/n." You looked up to see a woman you had never met before, standing beside a man who looked exactly like Harry. The only difference was, Harry's beautiful eyes were the same as the woman standing before you. "You're, you're Lily Potter." Your voice sounded strange, not quite like your own. "And you're James. I know because Harry keeps that picture of you guys, even when he comes to the Burrow. You're his parents." Your words flew from your mouth, before your eyes closed. "Does this mean I'm dead?" Your voice was smaller than before, the pain filling it.
"Not exactly. That's up to you." James walked closer to you, showing you around the Burrow. "You can choose to let go, I'm assuming you can walk up the stairs and be met with exactly what you expected death to be like, but you don't have to." Lily smiled, tucking a piece of hair behind your head.
"Is Fred dead?" You whispered, looking at her.
"I don't know, honey. I'm so sorry." She took you in her arms, holding you to her chest. "I can't, I can't go back if he's not there, Mrs. Potter." Your tears fell once more, the whole in your heart already growing. "I can't live without him." Your sob filled the quiet air, your tears almost evaporating before they hit her skin. "I know honey, but you won't know unless you go back."
You looked at her, your eyes still full of the fears that filled you, only in the form of water. "I'm so scared." You whispered, looking at James. "It's okay to be scared honey, it really is." she cupped your cheeks, smiling softly. "But fear shows you you're alive." Lily's lips touched your forehead softly, smiling. "You're more than welcome to sit and think, the choice is yours." They both smiled at you, before vanishing. You weren't sure where they went, but you hoped it was as far away from Harry as they could. The last thing you wanted was for Harry to meet his parents through death do young.
You sat on the couch, thinking of the times you fell asleep on Fred's chest, threw pieces of chocolate at George and Ron, talked on and on with Charlie about the dragons he saw daily, read a book with Bill sitting across from you, or listened to Ginny and the boys groan as Percy went on and on about his prestigious job.
Your heard was full of Fred and George, yes, but it was also full of every single Weasley you came in contact with. They filled your heart, just as much as your twins did.
You nodded to yourself, taking a deep breath and letting go, unsure of how this was supposed to work. You felt confused as you tried to open your eyes, but was met with a force holding you back. You couldn't open them to find yourself in the crisp, white Burrow, but you also couldn't open them to find yourself back home.
You fought with your body for what felt like years, feeling like you couldn't command it to do the simple action that you completed from the day you were born. That was, until, you heard the sob from above you and the voice of Molly. "It's okay, she had to be okay."
You felt your heart squeeze and the pain rush to your head like you couldn't imagine before your eyes finally opened, seeing the people staring down at you. You first made eye contact with the woman you heard, her own sobs falling from your mouth quickly. "Get him, get him!" You couldn't quite hear her, but saw her mouth forming the words. Your ears screaming with the ringing you heard before.
Your eyes widened with tears as Fred's face filled your view, his cheeks blotchy and nose red from crying. George's face came into view next to his, his just as bad as Fred's. "I thought you died! We thought you died!" He said, his voice mumbled with the ringing in full effect. Your hand moved to tough your ears, hoping it would stop the annoying sound.
"It won't stop." You whispered, pulling at your ears. Ginny appeared with Madam Pomfrey, the woman dropping a simple potion into both ears, the ringing silencing after a few moments. "Freddie, Georgie." You cried, pulling them into you. "I - I saw red hair. I saw it. I thought you-" your sob filled the air as your eyes squeezed close.
"Well, something did happen." Ron said, pointing to the bed beside you. You turned your head to meet the face of Percy, another sob leaving you. "I'm so sorry, I'm so so sorry." you cried, looking at Molly. "I tried to stop the wall, I tried so hard. I just couldn't keep it long enough." She pulled you into her arms, her own tears falling. This time, you saw your cries hit her skin, causing you to cry more. You weren't dead, you were alive.
"It's okay, it's okay." She whispered, holding you tight.
You're unsure how it all happened, but the next time you woke, you were in the burrow, but it's color was showing, the notices of each Weasley bouncing off the walls, and the soft breeze filling your senses. You were laying on the couch, the same one you found yourself sitting on after speaking to James and Lily. You glanced to the side to see Fred asleep on the floor next to you, George on the couch across from you.
You smiled softly, the pain still vibrating through your body as you smiled, kissing the knuckles of Fred's hand. You lived. He lived. It's okay.
The Burrow was in color again.

Distraction H.O
It's typical isn't? Falling for that guy in school who stole everyone's heart. That guy who managed to be perfect even without trying. You hated that guy because you thought you'd never have a chance with him. And it's that same guy who you never knew had also fallen for you.
His name was, Harrison Osterfield. The guy that stole your as well as every other girls heart. You'd be insane if you didn't think he was handsome, always making heads turn around whenever he walked into a room. But every one has flaws right? Even though he was attractive and smart, there was one thing you didn't like about him. One thing you wished you could change about him if you could. He was a player, he had almost slept with half of the girls at school.
You also wondered how can this kind of a guy get better grades than you? You had never been to a party and there was no party without him.
__
It was a typical Tuesday afternoon you decided to go to the library and get some homework done. You loved to study in the library it was better than studying at home with your annoying sibling.
You sat on an empty table and scattered all your books, papers and pens and began your study session. Math was never your cup of tea and would never be, it was ridiculous learning something you'd never use in the future much like history.
Half an hour later you were still stuck on the same problem. "Why can't you solve your own problems?" You whispered to the mess in front of you, head leaning on your hands.
"Trouble in paradise?" A familiar voice chuckled. Looking up you saw the last person you'd expect to see in a library. Harrison.
"Bite me" You scowled. "You're fiesty" he laughed, pulling a chair and sitting across from you.
"Funny seeing you here. You know there are no parties or pretty girls here right?" You informed, glancing at his beautiful ocean blue eyes.
"Who said there aren't any pretty girls? You're here" he said pointing at you.
"Yeah right" you rolled your eyes. "Even the librarian is prettier than me." Yes, she was 75, but she is still pretty.
"Ah, funny too" Harrison exclaimed. "What other talents are you hiding?" He squinted his eyes. He notices your struggle as you place you pen between your lips, trying to focus. Harrison thought you look really adorable as he chuckled at the beautiful girl sitting in front of him.
"Need some help?"
"I'm good thanks" you gave a soft smile, making his heart melt. "You can't fool me, I can clearly see you struggling" he chuckled raising an eyebrow.
"I'm fine, I don't need your help" you said flipping through pages of your notebook.
"How long have you been here?" He said looking around. Checking your watch, you whisper, "Half an hour." He immediately took your notebook and went through the pages, glancing over the spare papers lying around. He held his hand out motioning you to hand over the pen between your lips. As you handed it over your fingers brushed against his, making your heart beat fast and heat rush to your cheek. You tried to cover your tinted cheek subtly but fail.
"Ok, it's really simple" he said before explaining the question at hand. You simply couldn't concentrate, his soft voice filled your ears and you couldn't stop staring at his piercing blue eyes. When he finished explaining he noticed you staring into his.
"Are you paying attention or are you looking into my eyes?" He asked bringing you back to reality. You simply blush, and look down at your fingers sheepishly.
"It's getting late, I should get going" you said looking at the time realising how long it has been, began to collect your papers and books shoving them in your bag. "Thanks for all your help, I'm sorry if this caused you any inconveniences"
"Not at all" he said in his thick British accent, "It was my pleasure" he smirked. As you were about to head out, you felt a strong grip around your wrist. You turn around to see Harrison's soft hand over yours. "Hey, do you mind if I walk you home? It's dark out and a pretty girl like you shouldn't be alone" he said, voice full of concern.
"You don't have to" you hesitate.
"Please I insist."
Why on earth is the school's douche bag being so nice?
"Is this some kind of prank or something? Why are you being so nice to me?" You questioned him. Confused he replied, "Well, because it's like that saying, 'treat others like you wish to be treated' or something like that" he shook his head. "Oh.." that's all you said. Was he actually being nice?
As you were walking, you two talked about eachother. You found out that Harrison actually wanted to be a actor. He said he had never told anyone else before. Half way home the wind picked up which made you shiver and wrap your arms around yourself. Harrison sees your shivering body and wraps his arm around you and pulls you into his side, leaving you shocked.
"Well if I gave you my jacket I would be cold too" he smirked, looking down at you. You didn't reply, you simply just melted into his side feeling the warmth. As you reached home you bid your goodbyes and you immediately ran to your room. Closing the door, you leaned on it and remembered the events of the past few hours. You went to revise your work again, because clearly being with Harrison didn't help you. Flipping through the pages you notice a piece of paper sticking out the notebook. Pulling it out you see something written on it.
Incase you need a study buddy let me know xx
XXX-XXX-XXX
-H.O
Your jaw dropped. Damn he's smooth. You decided to text him
You: Hey, it's y/n
Harrison: Hey, so I guess you got my note?😅
You: Yes I did
Harrison: And I'm guessing you need a study buddy?
You: Maybe
Harrison: Ok so tomorrow meet me at library after school?
You: Cool
You: Sounds good
Harrison:See you tomorrow then xx
You: See you tomorrow xx

*earlier in the day, taka texted shuichi to meet him in the classroom that they had been in a few days ago along with the odd request that he wears his halloween costume! however, things would be slightly different this time as when the detective approaches the door he'll hear that oh so familiar laughter! yet... despite it very clearly being that bear's signature laugh, the voice it's coming from doesn't sound like him at all. in fact, it sounds just like-*
"Kyōdai!! Oh, I knew you would be here right on time!" *the boy won't even get the chance to open the classroom door as it suddenly flies open, an exceptionally eager taka greeting him! however... something in the boy's usually bright eyes doesn't seem quite right, not to mention the monochromatic uniform and cap that he's now wearing seems worryingly familiar...*
"Come in, come in! Everyone is now accounted for so this special, extracurricular Halloween lesson can finally begin! Please, take a seat anywhere you like, bro!" *and taka then takes a step back and makes a sweeping motion towards the nearly-empty classroom, a passed out makoto and sayaka already occupying two of the seats!*
"Ah, please don't mind them, they'll wake up soon enough! When they do, I think you will be pleasantly surprised to see just how eager they both will be to get into the spirit of the season, puhuhu~!"
Normally when Kiyotaka wanted to meet up somewhere, Shuichi did not find it strange at all; it's what they often did whenever they planned to hang out. Though this particular request to meet him at that specific classroom.... in his costume? Was definitely strange... he couldn't even begin to guess why, but he still did as asked and put on his vampire costume before making his way to the classroom. That's when he heard that laugh through the door, but not from Monokuma; but rather, Kiyotaka... ".....?"
Furrowing his eyebrows, he was about to announce- "Um....Taka? I...I'm he-" Until a startled yelp instead left him when the other swung the door open so suddenly.. "A-Ah! Y-Yes, um, hi... of course..." That 'off’ he already had, grew tenfold when looking at him. That strange look in his eyes, that uniform: and even his excitable behavior seemed off, too. (”Something is definitely strange about Taka today... and why he is wearing....that thing?”) A bad feeling grew in his chest at the thought of entering that classroom... but he was already hear, in his costume and everything: was too late to turn back, now... “Uhh....o-okay...”
He raises an eyebrow at the mention of ‘everyone’ as he hears him explain. “Everyone?” Halloween...lesson....?” The way he put it, didn’t make it sound like it’d be something like a small Hallowen party or something.. And the moment he entered, he expected to see a lot more people since Kiyotaka said ‘everyone.’ That is, until his eyes locked Sayaka and Makoto... who were knocked out at their desks.
“?!” Alarmed, he runs over to the two. “M-Makoto? Sayaka?! Are you both okay?! Wh-What happened to them?!” Shuichi gives a small, frantic shake to their shoulders as his head snaps towards Kiyotaka’s direction, expecting an answer. This did not look as if they simply fell asleep at the desks to him: something was really wrong about this scene, here. He was honestly starting to get creeped out.. “Wh-...Don’t mind? You expect me to just ignore this?! I don’t know if this is your idea of a prank, but...” No, he already knew it wasn’t: Kiyotaka wasn’t the type who’d pull off a dark prank like this, much less get his classmates in on it. Something told him the way he was talking, was not an act.
“...Y-You’re seriously creeping me out.. What did you do to them? And why are you wearing that? That damn Monokuma.. this has something to do with whatever he was trying to do to you the other day, wasn’t it? Is that what you did to these two?! Because if so, then-” The initially disturbed look on his face solidifies into a firm glare. “I refuse to play along. Now cut it out already and help me get me back to their dorms!”
#TAKA!!!! DON'T LIKE THAT!!!!!#Shuichi does N O T either!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!#especially seeing the state of those two!!!#he swears he'll slap some sense into him AND send Monokuma flying into the sky later!!!#Shuichi answers;;#essenceofjustice
