Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
summary: you want to know the truth between the wizarding world’s most famous couple, but with the impending war, was their story truly correct?
pairing: Fred Weasley x Malfoy!reader
includes: comfort, angsty, talks of death, teasing from fred, up to interpretation what kind of relationship they have (lmk if I missed any!)
a/n: it took so many rewrites to get to this point 😭 sorry it took this long
Tumblr media
Everyone knew the story of Romeo and Juliet. There were so many variations that even the wizards made their own twisted version of the doomed couple. The most popular were Ann and Edward. It was the exact same story of Romeo and Juliet, but instead a war was upon the doomed couple and only Edward died, leaving Ann completely heartbroken and alone. This story was told in every generation of wizards and witches. From every pureblood down to the muggleborns who connected the fairytale to Shakespeare's own writing.
Narcissa was the one who told her daughter and son about Edward and Ann. Molly was the one who told the story to her six children. Both families put their own twist to the story, whether good or bad was up to debate.
Yet you wanted to understand what the true story was. Edward and Ann seemed real to you—that their lives weren’t something stolen from the muggle play. It felt like Edward and Ann were a secret from the start and only when they were found out by their parents did their families make up stories about their children’s lives. Their entire story kept changing, and you knew there had to be something more to Edward and Ann than what was told to anyone in the wizarding world.
Luckily, you knew the person to go to when you needed to sneak around the school. It was only a bonus that he fancied you and you enjoyed the attention.
“Is it really necessary to use code names, Weasley?” You tilt your head at him with a small, teasing smile—taking his hand as you stepped across a small creek that broke through the forest.
Fred carefully maneuvered you safely across before following himself, his rough hand contrasting your soft one. You both knew this path blindfolded, but he wouldn’t dare find a bruise on you he didn’t willingly give. After all, he liked be a gentleman when needed.
His free hand was warm against your back as you found yourself balancing atop of a fallen log. Your arms were out and your legs taking careful steps—one foot in front of the other—before you jumped in front of him, careful to stay on the small dirt path that led you both further away from the castle.
“If you don’t like your code name, there’s nothing we can do about it now, Malfoy.” Fred tried to hide a smirk and watched you carefully—knowing exactly what you were about to do.
Absorbing his words, you stop in your tracks and scoff, not caring that his chest hit your back at your abruptness. Tilting your head back, you narrowed your eyes at him and his cheeky grin. Sure, you were a sucker for how tall he was compared to you, but sometimes you felt so… small next to his 6’3 build.
“My nickname doesn’t even make any sense.” You argue and momentarily let your guard down.
If you were being completely honest, you rarely had your guard up when you were with Fred. He somehow found a way to chip away every piece of armor you adorned until it was just your true self. You couldn’t tell if you found it insufferable or not. His personality contrasted yours, but you would never trade it for the world.
Crossing your arms, a frown tugged at your lips as you spoke. “You gave me the name ferret.”
Fred simply rolled his eyes at you before pulling you into an unexpected kiss—causing you to gasp at his sudden agency. You did little to fight back, eventually melting under his soft yet firm touch. Unfortunately, Frederick Gideon Weasley was the biggest tease to ever exist at Hogwarts.
He slowly began to move away from you, leaving a lingering kiss to your lips one last time before finally separating. He grinned widely at your flushed face—your cheeks pink and eyes filled with hazes of lust.
You run your fingers through your hair before tucking stray pieces of platinum blonde behind both your ears—your telltale sign that you liked something. A lot.
“Unfair, Weasley.” You whip back around and start the trek to the alcove once more, refusing to let him get a better look at your flushed face.
His long legs made up for your quick pace as he eventually caught up to you, “I think it’s fair, considering you call me weasel.”
You let a small smile slip through at your code name for him. The nickname gave you a sense of familiarity—reminding you of Draco and Ron’s many arguments. How they would get along in the near future was not your problem. However, you were sure Fred would stick them into a locked room if they didn’t stop arguing.
After a comfortable silence—your heartbeat and flushed face finally toned down—you finally made your request. You stepped around the wet moss on the stones, “Anyway, I wanted to know if you could sneak me into the library’s restricted section—“
Fred interrupted your thought and wrapped an arm around your shoulders, kissing your cheek when you squeaked in surprise. “Oh, love, that’s the easiest thing to do.”
The alcove you found yourselves in was tucked away behind a mini waterfall, deep within the edges of the Forbidden Forest. You and Fred stumbled upon the place in the 5th year when he—well, those were private memories that didn’t need to be shared.
“You couldn’t have asked me in DADA?” He pulled you closer to him—his arms wrapped around your waist tightly so that you had to peer up and he had to look down just to be face to face.
“One,” You manage to put up a finger and tap it against his chest. “Umbridge would find a way to listen to our conversations, especially since you, George, and Lee have quite the reputation—“
“Thank you.”
“—Two,” You poke his chest with two fingers this time before gesturing to the predicament you now were in. You were sure that if you were seen like this in the corridors of Hogwarts, both Gryffindor and Slytherin wouldn’t have any points left for the rest of the school year. “This wouldn’t work with the new eight inch rule between boys and girls.”
“I don’t have to do this, you just want it.” Fred pulled you impossibly closer and let his hand graze your ass ever so slightly, causing you to gasp and glare. “You love me.”
You grab his wrist away and keep a steady gaze on him, your own words teasing him ever so slightly. “Get me into the library first, weasel. Then maybe I can tell you whether or not I love you.”
He raised his brows but didn’t say anything, only focusing his brown eyes on the way you stared at him. You grinned and left his embrace, going further into the alcove as he stood there. Godric, he truly fell hard for the one person he didn’t think he would ever like.
Tumblr media
“We only snuck into the library for a children’s fairytale?” Fred whispered-shouted toward you with his wand illuminated above the old parchment, his free hand scrubbing his face in confusion. “Why do they lock the stupid fairytales here anyway?”
“Will you shut up?” You groan and take his wand from him, the light growing brighter within your determined grasp. You glance at him briefly before focusing your attention back to the words on the parchment. “Let me read in peace.”
He rolled his eyes and snuck a kiss to your cheek before grabbing your own wand from around your waist, moving to explore on his own. Honestly, Fred thought you were going to steal a book from the records for once but instead you wanted to read an old fairytale everyone knew by heart.
A waste of sneaking around, but he liked you a little too much and would instantly fold to all your demands.
You flipped the page and stared at the black ink, the words writing out the tragic love story. Each loop and period hand written—each i dotted to perfection. So it only made sense when you saw words with double looped o's. You traced back each word and mentally kept track of each word until a sentence formed.
“They were always cursed to fail. No matter how many times their story was told, someone had to die.” You murmur to yourself in disbelief, gripping onto Fred's wand tighter. Each word sunk into your heart, cracking it into shards the more the puzzle pieces connected. “It was part of a wizard's stupid curse placed upon a woman who broke his heart—“
“What are you mumbling to yourself about?” Fred made his way back over to you, his two fingers looping around the belt loop of your jeans. He rested his head atop of yours and glanced at the book, “Malfoy?”
“He cursed their bloodline.” You clear your throat and snap the book shut, blinking tears away from your eyes before Fred could notice them. Your voice was clear, yet you were quieter than ever. “Every other generation born into their family will go through the curse whether or not they find love. Someone close to them is bound to die, even if they try to prevent it.”
“It's a real story?” He thumbed your waist and letting you rest your body weight on him as you leaned back on his soft touches. His chest rumbled as he spoke, “What wizarding family is cursed? Do we know them?”
You fidget with one of his long fingers and stare at the lines in his palms, eyeing the life line. Tracing across the lines, you shake your head. “No.”
Fred nodded and let out a breath of relief. He wouldn't know what to say to the poor family if he knew her. He couldn't imagine living a life where you would find love just for it to be ripped away from you within an instant. It was cruel to live that way. Hell, he would rather die than experience that.
“Ready to go?” He turned you in his arms and tucked your hair behind your ears, frowning when he caught your distant stare. “Hey, what's wrong? What happened?”
“What?” You snap your eyes to his and blink, subconsciously twisting the Malfoy ring on your finger. You were starting to understand the distaste for the name with the information you were slowly gaining. “Nothing, sorry. M'just tired.”
Fred scanned your face meticulously and cupped your cheeks, kissing your forehead softly. “I’m sorry... Let's get you off to the Slytherin commons, yeah? I'll make sure you won't get caught falling asleep in the halls.”
“M'hero.” You mumble as you let a small smile slip, looking up at him and resting your chin on his chest. Your eyes filled with the same love you swore you would never have in your life.
And it absolutely terrified you.
“Lead the way, weasel.” You tease softly.
He grinned and pressed a quick kiss to your lips before tugging you away toward the exit of the library—ensuring you were both safe to leave without any prying eyes.
However, the fates always watched you and your brother the moment you were born. They knew exactly what would happen sooner rather than later. No one knew but you. Salazar, your father didn’t even know. He didn’t even question his bloodline. You weren’t even sure if you even wanted to tell Draco. He was burdened as much as you, but he was only 15.
Hell, you didn’t know if you could bring yourself to even tell Fred. It would hurt him, and you would never want to hurt him. So you opted to never tell anyone.
Fred would never know the true turmoil running through your mind. Every single step you took toward the Slytherin common room—every single breath—felt like you were burning. The truth was boiling in your chest, gnawing at your insides to be set free, to tell him what you found out. The signet felt like an everlasting weight you had to carry for the rest of your life.
The Malfoy name was forever cursed.
And Fred would never know—nor would Astoria.

summary: an old friend starts showing up every time you need him word count: 5.6k masterlist
Tumblr media
The corridors of St. Mungo’s were quieter than usual, but there was still a hum of urgency in the air.
Since the war had ended, the hospital had been inundated with patients—some still recovering from physical wounds, others battling the mental scars left behind. You’d been working there for weeks now, throwing yourself into the chaos as a way to avoid the memories.
The war was over.
That was what everyone said.
But it didn’t feel like it. Not to you.
You rubbed the back of your neck as you turned the corner, the exhaustion of the day dragging at your heels. Healing was rewarding, but it was unrelenting too. Your own grief, your own loss, had been shoved to the side so you could focus on fixing others. It was easier that way.
At least, that’s what you told yourself.
The familiar voice stopped you in your tracks.
“Well, well. Fancy seeing you here.”
Your heart stuttered in your chest as you turned toward the sound.
Fred Weasley was leaning casually against the wall, hands stuffed into his pockets, his hair messy but bright as ever. His smile stretched across his face like it always did, a bit crooked, a bit mischievous.
“Fred?” Your voice cracked, disbelief threading through it.
“In the flesh,” he said with a grin. “You weren’t expecting me, were you?”
You stared at him, your mind fumbling to piece together what was happening. He was here. Alive. Whole. Standing in front of you as though nothing had changed.
It had been too long since you’ve last seen him.
“I—no,” you said finally, your hand gripping the strap of your bag so tightly it hurt. “What are you… what are you doing here?”
“Visiting,” he said easily, jerking his chin toward one of the nearby rooms. “Someone needed cheering up, and you know me—I’m the best man for the job.”
You laughed, a soft, disbelieving sound. “You haven’t changed a bit.”
“And you have,” Fred said, his eyes sweeping over you. There was something softer in his tone, something unspoken. “You look tired.”
“I’ve been busy,” you said, shrugging.
“I can see that,” he replied, the smile tugging at his lips dimming just slightly. “But don’t let it wear you down too much, alright? You’ve always been better at taking care of everyone else than yourself.”
You swallowed, his words hitting somewhere deeper than you wanted to admit. “It’s… good to see you.”
Fred grinned again, bright and wide. “Good to see you too, love. It’s been too long. Let’s change that, yeah? You know where to find me.”
Before you could respond, he gave you a wink and strolled away down the corridor, disappearing around the corner.
You stood there for a moment, frozen. It had felt so normal, so effortless. Just like before.
“Who were you talking to?”
The voice startled you, and you turned to see Elena, a fellow Healer, approaching with a curious look.
“Oh,” you said quickly, your pulse still racing. “Just… an old friend.”
Elena smiled, tilting her head. “Nice to see familiar faces, isn’t it? Especially after everything.”
You nodded faintly, but something about her tone didn’t sit right.
The exhaustion in her eyes was clear, and you felt it too. Sometimes it was hard to be kind to yourself when you put it all on another person.
“You should take a break, let me take over some of your patients,” you told her, a warm smile on your face.
Elena watched you closely, before shaking her head. “Don’t throw yourself into more work, you need to rest too.”
The rest of the day passed in a haze. You went through the motions, treating patients, mixing potions, and doing your best to avoid lingering too long on the morning’s encounter.
But the more you thought about it, the harder it became to focus. Seeing Fred again had felt like coming up for air after being underwater for too long. It had stirred something in you—hope, relief, a flicker of happiness you hadn’t felt in ages.
&
You sank into the couch the moment you walked through the door to your flat, kicking off your shoes with a groan. Another day of potions, poultices, and endless rounds of patients, each one a stark reminder of what had been lost in the war.
St. Mungo’s was a lifeline, sure. It gave you purpose. But it also drained you, leaving little room to process everything you’d been through.
You leaned your head back and closed your eyes, savoring the quiet.
The knock on your door startled you.
Frowning, you dragged yourself to your feet, wondering who it could be at this hour.
When you opened the door, Fred Weasley was standing there, hands shoved into his jacket pockets and that familiar smirk tugging at his lips.
“Well, you’re a sight for sore eyes,” he said, stepping inside without waiting for an invitation.
“Fred?” you said, blinking at him. “What are you doing here?”
“You didn’t come find me,” he said, as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.
Your brows furrowed. “I’ve been busy.”
“And I’ve been bored,” he replied, throwing himself onto your couch like he owned the place. “What’s a bloke got to do to get a little attention around here?”
Despite yourself, you felt the corner of your mouth twitch. Fred had always been like this—effortless, larger than life. He had a way of making everything else fade into the background.
“I didn’t know you were keeping tabs on me,” you said, heading to the kitchen to put the kettle on.
“Well, someone’s got to,” he called after you.
You rolled your eyes but couldn’t help the small smile that crept onto your face.
A few minutes later, you brought two steaming mugs of tea into the living room, handing one to Fred before sitting down across from him.
He didn’t reach for the mug right away, instead leaning forward with his elbows on his knees. His gaze was intent, but not unkind.
“How are you holding up?” he asked.
You hesitated, caught off guard by the question. Fred rarely veered into serious territory—he was the king of deflection, the master of keeping things light.
“I’m fine,” you said automatically.
He raised an eyebrow. “Really?”
You sighed, sinking back into the cushions. “What do you want me to say, Fred? That I’m tired? That I’m still trying to figure out how to keep going when it feels like everything’s fallen apart? Because I am. But what’s the point of talking about it? It doesn’t change anything.”
Fred leaned back, his expression softening. “Maybe not. But bottling it up doesn’t help either. Trust me.”
You looked at him, surprised by the sincerity in his voice.
“I just…” He rubbed the back of his neck, glancing away for a moment. “I hate seeing you like this. You used to light up every room you walked into, you know? Now it’s like… you’re barely there.”
His words hit you harder than you expected, and for a moment, you didn’t know what to say.
“Sorry,” he said quickly, holding up his hands. “I didn’t mean to make it heavy. I just… I miss you, that’s all.”
You swallowed the lump in your throat, forcing a smile. “I miss you too.”
For the next hour, Fred did what he did best: distracting you. He told you ridiculous stories about the shop, about George’s questionable taste in merchandise and the chaotic customers who made running a joke shop anything but boring. He had you laughing until your sides hurt, the weight on your chest lifting just a little.
By the time he stood to leave, it was late, and you were feeling more at ease than you had in weeks.
“You should come by the shop sometime,” he said, pausing in the doorway.
“Maybe I will,” you replied, leaning against the doorframe.
He grinned, his eyes twinkling in that way they always did. “Goodnight, love.”
“Goodnight, Fred.”
You closed the door and leaned against it, letting out a long breath. For the first time in a long while, you felt… lighter.
It wasn’t until you were cleaning up the living room that you noticed Fred’s untouched mug of tea sitting on the coffee table.
You frowned, picking it up. It was still full, the liquid cold to the touch.
“He must’ve been too busy talking to drink it,” you murmured to yourself, shaking your head. You poured the tea down the sink and put the mug in the dishwasher, before heading to bed.
&
The shop was eerily quiet as you stepped inside, the familiar jingle of the bell sounding oddly out of place in the stillness. You glanced around at the dimly lit aisles, the shelves a kaleidoscope of colors even in the low light. It was strange seeing the shop like this, so empty, so lifeless.
You had worked late again, but something about the thought of going straight home made your skin itch. You needed to be somewhere, anywhere, that wasn’t the sterile white walls of St. Mungo’s.
Your feet carried you to the back office without much thought, and you paused at the slightly open door.
Fred was there, hunched over the desk, his fingers toying with a quill as he stared down at a piece of parchment.
“Fred,” you said softly, pushing the door open further.
He looked up, a slow smile spreading across his face. “Finally off work, then?”
You nodded, stepping inside and leaning against the doorframe. “Barely. Thought I’d stop by, but it looks like I missed the fun.”
“Yeah, George closed up a while ago. You’ve got terrible timing,” he teased, his tone light.
Your gaze flicked to the desk where a photo caught your eye. It was the three of you—Fred, George, and yourself—arms slung over each other, laughing like you didn’t have a care in the world. You picked it up, your fingers brushing over the glass.
“I remember this,” you murmured, a small smile tugging at your lips.
“Good times, weren’t they?” Fred said, leaning back in his chair. “You and George couldn’t stop arguing that day. Think you were fighting over who’d get the last treacle tart.”
Your smile widened despite the ache in your chest. “He cheated, though.”
Fred snorted. “He’s a Weasley. Comes with the territory.”
Setting the photo down, you slid into the chair across from him. “Feels like it was forever ago.”
Fred’s expression softened, and for a moment, the weight of the world seemed to settle on his features. “It wasn’t that long ago. We’re just… different now.”
You studied him, a lump forming in your throat. He looked the same as he always had—bright eyes, a smirk that never quite left his lips—but there was something in his voice, something in the way he looked at you, that felt heavier.
“Yeah,” you said quietly. “Things change.”
Fred gave a small nod, leaning forward to rest his elbows on the desk. “So, how’s it really going? With the hospital, I mean.”
You sighed, running a hand through your hair. “It’s… a lot. I thought I was ready for it, but some days it feels like I’m drowning.”
“You’re not, though,” he said, his tone firm. “You’re stronger than you think.”
You rolled your eyes. “Don’t start.”
“I’m serious,” he said, his gaze locking onto yours. “You’ve been through hell, and you’re still here. That counts for something.”
You opened your mouth to argue, but the sincerity in his voice made the words stick in your throat.
“Thanks,” you said instead, the word barely above a whisper.
Fred gave you a small smile, leaning back in his chair. “Anyway, I’ve got to run. Things to do.”
“Like what?” you asked, raising an eyebrow.
He smirked. “You don’t get to know all my secrets.”
“Right,” you said, rolling your eyes as you stood. “Well, don’t let me keep you.”
“Don’t work too hard,” he said as he stood, heading for the door. “I’ll see you soon.”
“Yeah,” you said, watching as he left.
You lingered in the office for a moment before shaking your head and making your way toward the exit.
As you reached the front door, someone stepped inside.
“George?” you said, startled.
He looked at you, his expression tight and guarded. “Thought I’d locked up.”
“I—uh—yeah. I was just… stopping by,” you said vaguely, clutching your bag.
He raised an eyebrow but didn’t press further. His face was drawn, his eyes shadowed with exhaustion.
“You look terrible,” you said before you could stop yourself.
George gave a dry laugh. “Thanks. Just what I needed to hear.”
“Sorry,” you muttered, shifting on your feet.
He stared at you for a moment, his expression unreadable. “You weren’t at the —”
Before he could say what he wanted to say, the picture of the three of you slid from your hands. You hadn’t realized that you were still holding it.
The shards of glass were everywhere, you immediately went to pick them up, but George grabbed your hand before you could hurt yourself.
“I do that too, you know?”
The question caught you off guard, your chest tightening. “What do you mean?”
George shrugged, his gaze flickering toward the back office. “Feels real, you know?”
You frowned, unsure how to respond.
“Right,” George said, his tone unreadable.
An awkward silence stretched between you before he cleared his throat. “If you ever want to talk, you know where to find me.”
“Thanks,” you said, your voice quieter than you intended.
As you stepped out into the night, the cool air prickling your skin, his words lingered in your mind.
You shook your head, trying to brush off the strange feeling settling in your chest. The conversation with George left you feeling unsettled.
You told yourself it was just George grieving. Everyone was grieving. That’s all it was.
&
The air outside St. Mungo’s was brisk, carrying the crisp bite of autumn. You tugged your coat tighter around yourself, grateful for the rare quiet moment on your break. The day had been chaotic—healers rushing from patient to patient, the hum of spells and the faint scent of antiseptic filling the halls. It wasn’t exactly the type of environment that allowed for deep breaths or calm thoughts.
You wandered down a quiet path near the hospital, letting the cool breeze soothe your frazzled nerves. Your eyes scanned the rows of trees, their branches shedding golden and crimson leaves onto the cobblestone.
“Mind if I join?”
The voice was unmistakable, and you whipped around to see Fred grinning at you, his hands stuffed casually into the pockets of his jacket.
“Fred!” you exclaimed, relief washing over you like a balm. “What are you doing here?”
“Just thought I’d check in,” he said, falling into step beside you. “You’re impossible to track down these days, you know that?”
“I’ve been busy,” you said with a shrug. “Work’s been… a lot.”
“Still haven’t figured out how to clone yourself yet, then?” he teased, bumping your shoulder lightly with his own.
You couldn’t help but laugh, shaking your head. “Not quite. Maybe I’ll work on that next.”
The two of you walked in comfortable silence for a moment, the leaves crunching underfoot. Fred was always like this, effortlessly pulling you out of your spiraling thoughts, making the world feel lighter somehow.
“So,” he said, breaking the silence, “what do you do to unwind after a day of saving lives?”
“Sleep, mostly,” you admitted. “If I’m lucky, maybe eat something that doesn’t taste like parchment.”
Fred gave a mock gasp. “Blasphemy! This is why I should’ve brought you something from the shop. Maybe a bag of Canary Creams to keep things interesting.”
You rolled your eyes, a grin tugging at your lips. “Pretty sure my coworkers would kill me if I turned anyone into a bird on hospital grounds.”
“Sounds like they could use a laugh,” Fred said, smirking. “You’re too serious these days.”
You looked at him, the warmth of his presence easing the tension that had been knotting your chest all day. “Maybe. It’s hard not to be, though. Things… aren’t how they used to be.”
Fred’s expression softened, and for a moment, the playful glint in his eyes dimmed. “No, they’re not. But that doesn’t mean you’ve lost who you are. You’re still you, even if it feels different now.”
The words hit you harder than you expected, and you nodded, swallowing the lump in your throat.
Fred gave you a crooked smile. “Anyway, I should get going. Don’t want to keep you from your heroics.”
“Right,” you said, watching as he turned and walked away, his figure disappearing down the path.
When you returned to the hospital, you spotted Elena near the staff break room. She was leaning against the wall, her arms crossed, and her expression almost concerned when she saw you.
“Hey,” she said. “You alright? You looked… I don’t know, distracted earlier.”
“Distracted?” you echoed, frowning.
“Yeah,” she said, tilting her head slightly. “You seemed… off. Just wanted to say, if you ever want to talk, I’m here.”
Her words gave you pause, confusion prickling at the back of your mind. “I’m fine,” you said quickly, managing a small smile.
“Of course,” Elena said, her tone warm but cautious. “Just remember, you’re not alone, okay?”
You nodded, though her words lingered uneasily in your mind as you made your way back to your duties.
Why did Elena think something was wrong?
You pushed the thought away, chalking it up to exhaustion. But as you dove back into your work, you couldn’t shake the strange feeling in your chest—the faint but growing sense that something wasn’t quite right.
&
Your flat was dimly lit, the faint glow of a single lamp casting soft shadows across the walls. You had collapsed onto the sofa after a long day, still wearing your healer robes, too tired to change. The weight of exhaustion pressed heavily against your chest, but your mind refused to quiet.
A knock at the door startled you, your heart leaping in surprise. It was late—too late for visitors—but you dragged yourself up to answer it.
When you opened the door, Fred stood there, leaning casually against the frame with a lopsided grin.
“Hope I’m not interrupting your riveting evening plans,” he said, his voice light but warm.
“Fred,” you said, your fatigue melting into a mix of relief and surprise. “What are you doing here?”
“Came to check on you,” he said, stepping inside without waiting for an invitation. He glanced around your flat, his eyes landing on the cluttered coffee table and the half-empty mug of tea. “Looks like I got here just in time. You’re living the dream, aren’t you?”
You rolled your eyes, shutting the door behind him. “Not all of us get to play with fireworks and sweets all day.”
Fred laughed, a sound that filled the room and wrapped around you like a blanket. He plopped down onto the armchair across from you, his long legs stretched out in front of him.
“You look awful,” he said cheerfully.
“Thanks,” you muttered, sinking back onto the sofa.
There was a comfortable silence between you for a moment, the kind you only shared with someone who had known you forever. You tilted your head to look at him, the familiar lines of his face, the way his eyes crinkled when he smiled—it was all so painfully Fred.
“It’s been a while,” you said softly. “Since we sat like this.”
“Yeah,” Fred said, his voice quieter now. “Feels like a lifetime ago, doesn’t it?”
You nodded, your chest tightening. “Do you ever think about it? About how everyone just assumed we were—”
“A couple?” Fred interrupted, smirking. “All the time. George used to place bets on when we’d finally ‘admit it.’”
You laughed, though it felt hollow. “They weren’t wrong, though, were they? We were close.”
Fred’s expression softened, a flicker of something unreadable passing through his eyes. “We were. Still are.”
You hesitated, your heart pounding. The question had been buried deep in your mind for years, but now it rose to the surface, demanding to be spoken. “Fred… why didn’t it ever happen? Why didn’t we ever—?”
He looked at you then, his gaze steady but distant, as if he were searching for the right words. “You know,” he said after a moment, his voice low, “sometimes you don’t get closure. Sometimes things just… are.”
The answer left you reeling, the weight of it settling heavily in your chest.
Fred stood abruptly, his hands sliding into his pockets. “Anyway, I should go. You need sleep, and I need to—” He trailed off, gesturing vaguely toward the door.
“Right,” you said, your voice barely above a whisper.
As he left, the silence in your flat felt deafening. You stared at the spot where he had been sitting, your thoughts a chaotic tangle of emotions.
Fred’s words echoed in your mind, and for the first time, you wondered if you were chasing something that could never truly be found.
&
The bell above the door of the tea shop jingled softly as you stepped inside. The warm scent of cinnamon and chamomile washed over you, momentarily easing the tension that had weighed heavily on your shoulders since the previous night. It was your first day off in weeks, and after losing a patient yesterday, you had needed this—a quiet space to think, or perhaps, to not think at all.
Your eyes scanned the room, landing on Fred sitting by the window, a steaming cup in front of him. His head was tilted slightly, gazing out at the bustling street outside.
You hesitated for a moment before walking over to him. His face lit up when he noticed you, and he gestured to the empty seat across from him.
“Fancy meeting you here,” he said, a playful smirk tugging at his lips.
“Fred,” you said, sliding into the seat. “You’ve got a habit of turning up exactly when I need someone to talk to.”
“Call it a gift,” he said, shrugging. “What’s got you looking like you just ran headfirst into a Hippogriff?”
You sighed, wrapping your hands around the warm ceramic of your cup after ordering a simple black tea. “Rough day yesterday. Lost someone.”
Fred’s teasing expression softened immediately. “I’m sorry,” he said, his voice gentler now.
You shrugged, your throat tightening. “It happens. Doesn’t make it easier, though.”
Fred leaned forward, resting his elbows on the table. “You ever think about doing something else? Something less… heavy?”
“Sometimes,” you admitted. “But it’s not that simple, is it? I like helping people.”
“And who’s helping you?” he asked, his tone pointed but kind.
You looked away, his words cutting deeper than you cared to admit. “I’m fine,” you said quietly. “Really.”
Fred didn’t press further, instead leaning back in his chair and letting the conversation shift to lighter topics. He told you a ridiculous story about George’s latest experiment at the shop, complete with exaggerated hand gestures and dramatic pauses. You laughed in spite of yourself, grateful for the distraction.
The two of you sat there for what felt like hours, reminiscing about old times and trading jokes. For a moment, it felt like the world outside the tea shop didn’t exist.
Eventually, Fred glanced at the clock on the wall and stood up. “I should get going,” he said, his tone reluctant. “George will have my head if I’m late again.”
You nodded, watching as he turned toward the door. “Fred,” you called after him.
He paused, looking over his shoulder.
“Thanks,” you said simply.
His smile was soft, genuine. “Anytime.”
And then he was gone, leaving the air around you feeling oddly still.
You stayed a few minutes longer, finishing your tea in silence. When you finally stood to leave, you noticed something strange—people were staring at you.
Their gazes weren’t hostile, but curious, as if you’d done something out of the ordinary. You met a few of their eyes, but no one said anything. A couple seated near the door exchanged whispers, their eyes flicking toward your table.
Frowning, you pulled your cloak tighter around yourself and stepped out into the chilly air. The feeling of being watched clung to you as you made your way home, an unease settling in your chest.
When you reached your flat, you locked the door behind you and leaned against it, trying to shake the strange sensation.
“Just tired,” you muttered to yourself. “That’s all it is.”
But the memory of their stares lingered, gnawing at the edges of your mind.
&
It was late when you heard the knock at your door. You weren’t expecting anyone, and for a moment, you considered ignoring it. But when the knock came again, heavier this time, you reluctantly got up and opened the door.
George stood there, hands shoved deep into the pockets of his coat, his face pale and drawn.
“George,” you said, blinking at him in surprise. “What are you doing here?”
He hesitated for a moment before stepping inside. “Mum’s been asking about you,” he said, his voice careful. “She says she hasn’t seen you in ages.”
You frowned, closing the door behind him. “I’ve been… busy.”
“You’re always busy,” he said, looking around your flat as though trying to make sense of the chaos. His gaze lingered on a pile of unopened letters on the table, a half-empty cup of tea on the counter. “You’ve been avoiding us.”
“That’s not true,” you said defensively.
“Isn’t it?” he said, raising an eyebrow. He looked at you closely, his sharp eyes narrowing. “You’re not okay, are you?”
You opened your mouth to argue, but the words caught in your throat. George had always been perceptive, too perceptive, and you suddenly felt stripped bare under his scrutiny.
“I’m fine,” you said quietly, looking away.
He sighed, running a hand through his messy hair. “You know,” he said, his voice softer now, “we’re all trying to figure out how to move forward. It’s hard, isn’t it? Finding a way to keep going without—”
He stopped himself abruptly, his lips pressing into a thin line.
“Without what?” you asked, your chest tightening.
George shook his head. “Never mind,” he muttered. “Forget I said anything.”
You frowned, confused and slightly unnerved by the way he was looking at you, like he was trying to tell you something without actually saying it.
“Come with me,” he said suddenly.
“What?”
“Just… come with me,” he repeated, already heading toward the door.
“George, it’s late—”
“I know,” he said, turning to face you. “But this is important. Please.”
Something in his tone made you hesitate. Reluctantly, you grabbed your coat and followed him out into the chilly night.
He didn’t say much as you walked, his hands shoved deep into his pockets, his shoulders hunched against the cold. You tried to make sense of his sudden appearance, the strange tension in his voice, but the silence between you felt too fragile to break.
Finally, he led you to a quiet, secluded area, the air around you growing heavier with each step. You glanced around, the faint outlines of headstones barely visible in the moonlight.
“George,” you said, your voice catching. “What is this?”
He stopped in front of a particular spot, his back to you. For a long moment, he didn’t move, his shoulders rising and falling with a deep, shaky breath.
When he finally turned to face you, his expression was unreadable. “I just thought… maybe this would help,” he said quietly.
You didn’t understand what he meant, not fully, but something in his eyes—something raw and achingly familiar—made your chest tighten.
“I’m not sure what you’re trying to say,” you said, your voice barely above a whisper.
George didn’t respond right away. Instead, he stepped closer and pulled you into a hug, his arms wrapping tightly around you. The unexpected gesture caught you off guard, and for a moment, you froze.
“It’s okay,” he murmured, his voice breaking slightly. “It’s okay to miss him.”
The words hit you like a physical blow, and you felt the air leave your lungs in a sharp gasp.
You clung to him, your mind reeling, the weight of his words pressing down on you.
For a moment, it felt like something inside you was unraveling, pieces of a puzzle you hadn’t realized you were trying to solve falling into place.
But the full picture remained just out of reach, the truth lingering at the edges of your mind like a shadow.
George pulled back slightly, his hands resting on your shoulders. “You don’t have to go through this alone,” he said, his voice steady despite the emotion in his eyes.
You nodded silently, unable to find the words to respond.
&
George left after a while, a long time that was filled with silence. But you couldn’t go yet, you were still standing in the middle of the graveyard.
That’s when Fred walked up next to you, looking down at the grave in front of you.
“You’re not real,” you whispered, your voice trembling.
Fred tilted his head, a soft smile playing at his lips. “No,” he said simply, “I’m not.”
The weight of those words hit you like a tidal wave.
For a long moment, neither of you spoke. The silence stretched thin, taut with everything you hadn’t said and everything you now understood.
“Why?” you finally asked, your voice barely audible.
Fred’s gaze softened, but there was something unshakably sad in his eyes. “You needed me,” he said. “So I was here.”
You swallowed hard, your hands shaking. “But you’re gone,” you said, the words tasting bitter on your tongue.
“I am,” he said, his voice steady but quiet.
The world felt impossibly still, the air heavy with unspoken grief.
“I don’t—” you started, your voice cracking. “I don’t know how to do this, Fred. I don’t know how to let you go.”
Fred turned to you. “You don’t have to,” he said gently. “Not really. I’m always going to be here, just not like this.”
Tears welled in your eyes, blurring your vision. “It’s not fair,” you whispered. “You were supposed to have so much more time. We were supposed to have more time.”
Fred’s smile wavered, and for the first time, you saw the cracks in his façade. “Life’s not fair,” he said, his voice tinged with a bitterness you rarely heard from him. “But you know that already, don’t you?”
You nodded, the tears spilling over now. “I love you, Fred,” you said, your voice breaking. “I loved you, and I never even told you. I never got the chance to—”
“You didn’t have to tell me,” Fred interrupted, his voice firm but gentle. “I knew.”
You looked up at him, your breath catching. “How?”
He smiled, a bittersweet curve of his lips. “You think I didn’t notice the way you looked at me? Or how you always laughed at my terrible jokes, even when no one else did? Or how you always saved me a seat, even when it meant you had to stand?”
You let out a shaky laugh, wiping at your tears.
“I knew,” he said again, his tone softer now. “And you know, deep down, that I loved you too.”
Your chest ached, the pain so sharp and overwhelming that it felt like you might break under the weight of it. “I just wanted more time,” you whispered, your voice cracking. “Another chance.”
Fred’s expression grew serious, his gaze locking with yours. “I know you do,” he said quietly. “But if you had it, would it ever be enough?”
You opened your mouth to argue, but the words caught in your throat.
Fred leaned back, his eyes glimmering with unshed tears. “You would always want more,” he said, his voice steady but filled with a quiet sorrow. “Because that’s how it is with love. It’s never enough time. Not really.”
Your hands trembled as you struggled to process his words.
“I don’t want to say goodbye,” you said, your voice breaking again.
“You don’t have to,” he said, his voice impossibly gentle. “I’ll always be a part of you. I’ll always be in your memories, in the things that make you laugh, in the things that remind you of me.”
Tears streamed down your face, your chest heaving with the force of your sobs. “But it’s not the same,” you choked out. “It’s not the same as having you here.”
Fred’s expression softened, his gaze filled with a tenderness that made your heart ache even more. “I know,” he said. “But you have to keep living, love. You have to keep going, even if it hurts.”
You looked at him, your vision blurred with tears. You reached out your hand, close enough to touch his face, but you didn’t, too scared of what might happen if you tried.
Fred’s smile was soft, tinged with sadness. “It’s okay,” he said. “You don’t have to.”
You clenched your fists, the ache in your chest almost unbearable.
“I don’t know how to say goodbye,” you whispered.
Fred looked down at you, his gaze filled with a love that you could feel in every fiber of your being.
“You don’t have to say it,” he said. “Just… let me go.”
You sobbed, the sound raw and broken, as you watched him turn around.
“Fred,” you called, your voice cracking.
He paused, glancing back over his shoulder. “Yeah?”
“I love you,” you said, the words tumbling out of you like a confession, like a plea.
Fred smiled, his eyes glistening. “I know,” he said. “I love you too.”
And then he was gone.
You turned around again, staring yet again at the grave in front of you.
You stood there for a long time, the silence deafening. Until you took a step forward, your fingers tracing the engraved letters.

Fred Weasley had a habit of sneaking into your life like a well-placed prank—unexpected, disarming, and impossible to ignore.
It started with small things. A teasing comment as he passed you in the corridors. A stolen seat beside you in the Great Hall. A ridiculous joke whispered in the middle of class, just to see if he could get you to laugh.
At first, you had rolled your eyes at his antics, dismissing them as nothing more than Fred being Fred. But then the teasing had become something softer. The stolen seats turned into casual conversations that stretched on longer than they should. And the jokes? Well, they still made you roll your eyes—but they also made you smile.
You weren’t sure when the lines blurred between friendship and something else, but they had. And lately, you found yourself waiting for those moments, for the warmth in his gaze, for the way his fingers would brush against yours just a little longer than necessary.
You told yourself it didn’t mean anything.
But Fred had other ideas.
---
“You know, love, I think you secretly like me.”
You glance up from your book, unimpressed. Fred is sprawled across the library table in front of you, completely unbothered by the glares from Madam Pince. His tie is loose, his sleeves pushed up, and his usual grin is firmly in place.
You raise an eyebrow. “What makes you think that?”
“The fact that you haven’t hexed me for interrupting your studying. That’s got to count for something.”
You smirk, closing your book with deliberate slowness. “Maybe I’m just plotting something worse than a hex.”
Fred gasps, placing a dramatic hand over his heart. “Cruel! And here I thought we had something special.”
You shake your head, but the smile playing at your lips betrays you. “Fred, why are you really here?”
His expression shifts, just slightly—still playful, but there’s something else beneath it now. Something softer.
“I think you need a break.”
You huff. “I’m fine.”
“Liar.”
You cross your arms, and he leans in, resting his chin in his hand as he studies you. “You know, for someone so brilliant, you’re absolute rubbish at having fun.”
You roll your eyes. “Not this again.”
“Yes, this again.” He grins. “And lucky for you, I’ve decided to take on the noble mission of teaching you.”
You narrow your eyes, but he just wiggles his eyebrows.
Then, as if the universe is conspiring with him, a distant rumble of thunder shakes the castle walls. The rain outside begins to pick up, a steady drumming against the windows.
Fred glances at the storm, then back at you, and his smirk widens.
“Perfect.”
You give him a wary look. “Perfect for what?”
“For a bit of living.”
Before you can protest, he’s on his feet, offering his hand.
You hesitate.
Fred watches you closely, the usual mischief in his eyes tempered by something gentler. “Trust me?”
And somehow, against all logic—
You do.
With a sigh, you place your hand in his.
Fred doesn’t hesitate.
His fingers wrap around yours, warm and solid, and then you’re running.
Fred leads you through the castle with a determined kind of excitement, his grip firm but not forceful. Every time you hesitate, his thumb brushes absentmindedly over the back of your hand, like a silent reassurance that you can trust him.
And the worst part? It works.
The storm rages outside, the rain pounding against the tall windows as lightning streaks across the sky. You pass more students in the corridors, their heads turning as Fred pulls you along, grinning like a man on a mission.
“Everyone is staring,” you murmur, trying to ignore the way your face feels like it’s on fire.
Fred glances over his shoulder, completely unfazed. “That’s because you’re holding my hand, love.”
Your breath catches. He says it so casually, like it’s just a simple fact, like it doesn’t mean anything. But it does—at least to you. And maybe, maybe to him, too.
Before you can think too much about it, Fred slows to a stop, turning to face you. His hair is already a little damp from the misty air, the ends curling slightly, and there’s a dangerous glint in his eyes.
“Alright,” he says, still holding your hand. “Time for a shortcut.”
You barely have time to ask what he means before he’s pulling you into a dimly lit passageway behind a tapestry of Barnabas the Barmy. The space is narrow, the walls closing in slightly as the two of you squeeze through.
It would be fine.
Really, it would.
Except that you’re still holding hands, and suddenly, you’re pressed closer than you have ever been to Fred Weasley.
You can feel the warmth of him even through your damp robes, the scent of something undeniably *him*—cinnamon, something sweet, something warm—wrapping around you. Your heart stumbles over itself as you glance up, only to realize he’s already looking at you.
Fred’s smirk softens just slightly, his eyes flickering over your face like he’s memorizing something.
“Blushing already?” he teases, voice quieter now, lower.
You scoff, though it lacks any real conviction. “It’s warm in here.”
Fred chuckles, but he doesn’t call you out on the lie. Instead, his free hand comes up, his knuckles brushing against your cheek—so light, so fleeting, you almost think you imagined it.
Your breath catches.
And then—
“We’re here,” he says, stepping back like nothing happened, like he didn’t just steal the air from your lungs.
The passage opens into a small tower landing, the wind howling through the stone archways. You step forward, blinking against the sudden brightness as lightning flashes across the sky. The storm is alive up here, the rain sweeping across the open space, the castle grounds stretching endlessly below.
Fred turns to you, eyes shining. “Told you it was the best place to watch a storm.”
You shake your head, but you can’t fight the smile tugging at your lips. “You’re impossible.”
“And yet,” he says, stepping closer, his voice dipping into something almost dangerous, “you’re still here.”
You don’t know who moves first—if he leans in or if you do. But suddenly, you’re close again, and the space between you is so small it barely exists.
The rain starts to blow in through the arches, dampening your robes, catching in your hair. You shiver slightly, and Fred immediately shrugs off his cloak, wrapping it around your shoulders without a second thought.
“Can’t have you freezing, now, can we?” he murmurs, fingers lingering at your collar.
You swallow hard, your hands clutching the edges of the cloak to keep them from shaking. “Fred—”
Another crack of thunder shakes the tower.
And then, before you can think, before you can second-guess—
Fred grabs your hand again.
“Come on.”
This time, he doesn’t run.
He sprints.
You barely have a moment to react before you’re being pulled into the rain, the icy drops soaking through your clothes as Fred laughs—a loud, joyful sound that echoes through the open air.
You gasp at the cold, but Fred just spins you, hands gripping yours, eyes locked onto you like you’re the best part of the storm.
Your hair clings to your face, rain dripping down your cheeks, but you don’t care.
Because you’re laughing.
You’re laughing, and you can’t remember the last time you felt this alive.
Fred’s eyes soften as he watches you, his hands still wrapped around yours. “That’s the look I was hoping for.”
You blink up at him, breathless. “What look?”
“Like you just found magic outside of books.”
Your heart stumbles over itself. The storm rages on around you, but all you can hear is him.
Before you can think too hard about it, before fear can creep in—
You squeeze his hands.
And Fred Weasley grins like he’s won something.
Fred’s grip tightens around yours as he pulls you down the winding staircase, out of the tower, and into the open air. The cold air rushes against your damp skin, the rain pouring heavier now, drenching you both completely. But instead of shivering, instead of protesting, you laugh.
It bubbles out of you, unfiltered and raw, carried away by the wind.
Fred looks over at you, his eyes crinkling with something soft, something undeniably fond. “See?” he shouts over the storm. “Not so bad, is it?”
You shake your head, rain streaming down your face. “It’s mad!”
“Exactly!” He grins, tugging you along the slick grass, dodging puddles with an ease that only comes from years of mischief. “What’s the point of living if you don’t go a little mad every once in a while?”
You don’t have an answer. Not because you don’t want one, but because—for the first time in your life—you’re starting to think he’s right.
The castle looms behind you, warm and golden in contrast to the storm. But Fred doesn’t slow. Instead, he glances sideways at you, mischief gleaming in his rain-soaked lashes.
“If you really want an adventure,” he calls, breathless, “we could take this a step further.”
You narrow your eyes at him, still running. “What are you planning?”
His smirk is positively dangerous.
And then you see where he’s leading you.
The Forbidden Forest.
Your heart lurches as the shadowy treeline comes into view, dark and swaying under the weight of the storm. The rain makes it look even more foreboding, the trees looming like silent sentinels.
Fred slows slightly, still gripping your hand, still grinning. “What do you say?” he asks, voice playful but laced with something else—something daring. “You wanted an adventure, didn’t you?”
You skid to a stop just before the edge of the trees, your chest rising and falling with rapid breaths. The rain hammers against the leaves, dripping heavily from the branches, and for a long moment, all you can do is stare into the darkness beyond.
Fred steps closer, watching you carefully, his thumb idly brushing against your hand. “We don’t have to,” he says, and for the first time tonight, there’s no teasing in his voice—just quiet reassurance.
You swallow hard, heart hammering.
Every instinct in you, every rule-following, well-behaved part of your mind is screaming no.
But then you look at Fred.
He’s standing there, soaked to the bone, eyes bright with something wild and alive. His hand is warm in yours despite the rain, steady despite the chaos.
And maybe it’s the adrenaline, or maybe it’s just him—but something inside you shifts.
You exhale, grip tightening slightly. “You’ll keep me safe?”
Fred’s expression softens, the storm forgotten between you. “Always.”
And just like that, the last of your hesitation melts away.
With one final glance at the castle—one final moment of who you were—you take a step forward.
And Fred Weasley, grinning like you’ve just given him the best gift in the world, pulls you into the dark.
————
The moment you step past the tree line, the storm seems to soften. The thick canopy above catches most of the rain, breaking it into light drips that patter against the leaves. The forest is alive, breathing with the scent of damp earth and fresh rain.
Fred still holds your hand, his fingers warm despite the chill, though now his grip is looser, more relaxed. He watches you out of the corner of his eye, as if waiting for any sign of hesitation.
But to your own surprise—you’re not hesitating at all.
It’s different here. The wild hum of the storm fades into something gentler, something almost magical.
You pause for a moment, tilting your head up. The rain clings to the branches in delicate beads, dripping slowly onto moss-covered ground. Everything glows, like the whole forest is wrapped in glass. Even the air feels clearer, crisper.
Fred lets out a low whistle beside you. “Blimey,” he murmurs. “Would you look at that?”
You follow his gaze.
The trees, ancient and tall, shimmer under the weight of the fading storm. Droplets cling to every leaf, reflecting the soft midday light like tiny jewels. Spiderwebs between branches hold dewdrops like strings of diamonds, and the ground is covered in small puddles, each one rippling as the last few raindrops fall.
It’s breathtaking.
For a long moment, neither of you say anything. The Forbidden Forest has never felt like this before—no longer a place of whispered warnings and forbidden dangers, but something alive. Something untouched, something waiting.
Fred exhales beside you, running a hand through his dripping hair. “Alright,” he says, “I might have only brought us here for a laugh, but—” He gestures vaguely at the glistening trees, the glowing mist that still clings to the ground. “—I think we just walked straight into a bloody fairytale.”
You smile, shaking your head. “Hardly seems forbidden when it looks like this.”
He hums in agreement, then looks at you with that dangerous glint in his eye again. “Think we should keep going?”
You hesitate, but not because you’re afraid. The part of you that would have insisted on turning back is quiet now, overwhelmed by the beauty around you.
Fred tilts his head, watching you carefully. “No pressure, love. We can head back if you want.”
You bite your lip, looking between him and the path ahead.
Then, feeling bold, you lift your chin. “Just a little further.”
Fred’s grin is instant, full of delight. “Merlin, I knew there was an adventurer in you somewhere.”
He takes your hand again—not pulling this time, just holding—and together, you step deeper into the glowing forest.
————
The deeper you go, the quieter everything becomes. Not eerily so—just peaceful, like the world is holding its breath. The rain has nearly stopped, leaving only the occasional drop slipping from leaf to leaf before landing softly on the forest floor.
Fred walks beside you now instead of leading, his hand still wrapped around yours, warm and steady. He swings your hands slightly as you walk, like this is all perfectly normal, like this isn’t the first time you’ve willingly stepped into the unknown with him.
“Alright, tell me the truth,” he says, breaking the silence. “You’re not actually a rule-following, library-dwelling Ravenclaw, are you? You’ve been secretly waiting for me to drag you into trouble all this time.”
You scoff, but you’re smiling. “That’s ridiculous.”
“Is it?” He quirks an eyebrow, nudging you lightly with his shoulder. “Because you don’t look like someone regretting a single thing right now.”
You don’t. You know you don’t.
Fred watches you, a knowing smirk tugging at his lips, and Merlin, does he know what he’s doing. He slows his pace slightly, giving you more space to take it all in. The forest is still glowing with the remnants of the storm, the mist clinging to the air, the trees standing tall like they’ve been waiting for you both to come along.
You turn in a slow circle, taking in every shimmering detail. “I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like this,” you admit, voice quieter now.
Fred hums, tilting his head as he studies you. “That’s a shame.”
You glance at him, brow furrowing. “Why?”
“Because,” he says, softer now, “you should see more things that make you look like this.”
Your breath catches.
You don’t even know what you look like, but the way he says it—the way he’s looking at you—makes your pulse stutter. His eyes are warmer than they’ve ever been, no teasing smirk, no mischievous glint. Just genuine—like he means it, like he wants this for you.
You turn away before your face can betray you, pretending to focus on the trail ahead.
Fred doesn’t let go of your hand.
The forest shifts as you walk, the path widening slightly. A small clearing opens up ahead, bathed in soft golden light filtering through the branches. There’s an old fallen log near the center, its surface covered in moss, and a patch of tiny blue flowers blooming in the damp earth beside it.
Fred tugs you toward it. “Here,” he says, sitting on the log and patting the space beside him.
You hesitate—not because you don’t *want* to, but because something about this moment feels… different.
Not reckless. Not chaotic. Just *yours*.
You lower yourself onto the log, and for a while, neither of you speak. The quiet hum of the forest fills the space between you—the drip of water onto leaves, the distant rustle of branches shifting in the breeze.
Fred leans back on his hands, tilting his face up to the canopy above. “You know,” he muses, “if someone had told me this morning that I’d be sitting in the Forbidden Forest in the rain with you, I’d have called them mad.”
You scoff, nudging his knee with yours. “I could say the same. You do know I planned to spend my evening studying, right?”
He grins, turning his head to face you. “Yeah, well. Look at you now.”
You roll your eyes, but you can’t fight your smile.
Fred watches you for a moment longer, then shifts slightly, resting his elbow on his knee as he leans closer. “So,” he says, “what do you reckon? Worth breaking the rules for?”
You exhale, looking around again at the glistening trees, the dew-covered flowers, the quiet magic in the air.
Then, without hesitation—
“Yes.”
Fred’s grin is slow, spreading across his face like a sunrise. He lifts your joined hands between you, brushing his thumb over your knuckles in a way that makes your heart *trip* over itself.
“Well, then,” he murmurs, voice soft and warm. “Guess I’ll have to find more rules for you to break.”
And for the first time in your life—
You want him too.
You stretch your legs out in front of you, hands braced against the log as you let yourself breathe—really breathe—in this quiet, enchanted world. The rain has nearly stopped now, leaving behind only glistening leaves and the scent of damp earth. The storm has passed, but something lingers in its wake.
Something warm. Something new.
You turn to Fred, who’s still watching you with that insufferably pleased expression, like he’s just won a bet you didn’t even know you made. He hasn’t let go of your hand, and now that you’ve noticed, you have no intention of letting it slip away.
Instead, you shift, adjusting your grip so your fingers lace more deliberately through his. His eyebrows lift slightly, like he wasn’t expecting it—but he doesn’t protest. If anything, his grip tightens just a bit, like he’s afraid you’ll change your mind.
You won’t.
“Alright, Weasley,” you say, giving his hand a squeeze before standing. “I suppose we should start heading back before someone sends a search party.”
Fred groans dramatically but rises to his feet, tugging you a little closer in the process. “Fine,” he sighs, “but only because I do have a bit of an appetite for supper.”
You hum, turning with him as you both start back toward the castle. The walk is easier now, the fear of the unknown having melted away into something familiar, something almost comfortable.
Your fingers are still entwined, swinging slightly between you as you navigate the damp trail. The air feels lighter, the quiet hum of the forest wrapping around you like an old friend.
Then, with a sideways glance and a smirk creeping onto your lips, you murmur, “Seems like you’ve wanted to hold my hand this whole time.”
Fred stumbles.
It’s barely noticeable, but you notice. His step falters for just a second, his grip on your hand momentarily tightening as he turns to you with wide eyes—before narrowing them.
“Oh, now you’re getting cheeky,” he says, recovering quickly, though the corner of his mouth twitches. “Next thing I know, you’ll be pulling me into adventures.”
You shrug, feigning nonchalance. “Maybe.”
Fred slows his steps, looking at you fully now, like he’s re-evaluating everything he thought he knew about you. Then, to your utter delight, he lets out a soft, breathy laugh.
“Merlin’s beard,” he mutters, shaking his head. “I’ve created a monster.”
You grin, feeling something light and warm bloom in your chest. “You love it.”
Fred stops walking entirely, and before you can question it, he tugs you—gently but suddenly—closer. Your breath catches as you find yourself inches from him, your joined hands now pressed between you.
His voice is softer now, his usual mischief tempered with something deeper. “Yeah,” he murmurs. “I really think I do.”
For a moment, you can’t breathe.
Then, before you can process what’s happening, Fred steps back, resuming your walk as if nothing happened. As if he didn’t just send your heart into an absolute tailspin.
You exhale, regaining your footing, and after a beat, you tighten your grip on his hand, matching his pace.
The castle lights are glowing in the distance, warm and inviting. Supper is waiting. The world is returning to normal.
But you?
You’re not sure you want things to go back to normal.
Not now.
Not when you’ve just discovered a whole different kind of magic—one that has nothing to do with books or spells.
And everything to do with Fred Weasley.

☆。° stepdad!Fred who loves your mini skirt !
cw: 18+!, mdni, large age gap, Fred is married to your mother, no real smut but still sexual, inappropriate touching, slightly controlling Fred
a/n: not sure if you meant you wanted stepdad!Fred, but then i remembered that’s the only step version of Fred i’ve written 😭 if my guess was wrong though feel free to correct me ! proofread once lmao
You smiled as you looked at yourself through your pocket make-up mirror. Your lips shiny with a light pinkish-red lipgloss. Cheeks dusted with a light pink blush and lashes lifted, courtesy of your step father, Fred, whom gave you the money to get them done.
“Do i look good?” You asked teasingly as you felt Fred’s presence behind you. Closing your makeup mirror and throwing it back into your purse that hung from your arm. Smile forming on your face as you looked at your done up form in your body length mirror and saw Fred leaning against the structure of your door.
“Yeah, look real good beauty.” He praised, his eyes roaming up and down your simple but done up attire you had on for the concert you were going to- also thanks to Fred paying for your tickets. His eyes lingering on your miniskirt.
You smirked as you saw his eyes remain on your short skirt. Grinning cheekily as you fluffed up your hair. “Like my new skirt?” You asked, giggling with faux innocence.
Fred raised a brow at your amusement. Chuckling slightly as he walked up behind you. His hand finding your shoulder and rubbing small circles with his thumb. “Mhm.” He murmured as he looked down at the denim fabric you were wearing around your hips. “The skirt looks beautiful on you.”
You smiled, heart swelling at his words as your cheeky smile grew. Instinctively biting your nail to try and remain nonchalant, but failing as you felt his hand push past the fabric and rub up and down your ass. His voice dropping lower as he spoke with a smirk into your ear.
“Gets me fucking excited,” He whispered, placing a soft kiss to your neck as he brought his hand down to teasingly run the pad of his fingers up and down your clothed cunt. Free hand moving to firmly hold your waist.
You whimpered as you tightened your thighs around his hand. Your hand coming to hold onto his on your waist as heat quickly rushed down to your core. Knees already threatening to give out.
“Y-yeah?” You mumbled. Mind hazy with shy excitement as your pussy clenched around nothing and panties got damp with your arousal.
“Yeah,” He confirmed, breath hot against your neck before he pulled away, eliciting a whine from you as you furrowed your brows. Smug smirk making its way to Fred’s face as he observed the mess he already made of you. “Which means other guys’ll get excited to.” He said as he placed his hand back onto your shoulder. Using his other hand to cup your chin in between his fingers and turn your face towards his.
“So if you be a good girl and change this skirt before you leave and enjoy the concert, i’ll give you a nice ‘surprise’ when you get back.” He said, smirk still plastered on his face though softer as he looked at you and into your eyes. “K?” He questioned, cocking a brow slightly before chuckling as he watched you frantically nod ‘yes’. Moving his hand back down to place a light smack to your ass. “Good girl… And put this skirt back on when you get back home f’me.”

fucking PREACH 🙌🏽🗣‼️
Ok, now hear me out...
I absolutely love Harry and Hermione and I do think Harmione and Jily have a lot of parallels to be made but I feel like we're all ignoring the fact that Hermione and her supposed original endgame, Fred, are a true reincarnation of Lily and James.
I mean think about it, Lily and Hermione are both really smart muggle borns who are able to hold their own.
And both James and Fred are troublemakers who love pranks and are quidditch players.
It speaks for itself really🤷‍♀️

author's note: I LOVE FREDDIE! that's it, enjoy
"Hello, honey!" Mrs. Weasley ran at you with wide open arms. She pushed Fred out of her path, whose arms were also stretched towards his mother, and he clutched his heart and gasped loudly, feigning hurt.
"Mrs. Weasley!" You stretched your arms out to receive her, "You are looking absolutely beautiful this morning!" She scooped you up and almost knocked the breath out of your lungs, and the flowers you had brought her out of your hand. It was your first time meeting each other in person but you had been writing to her and Mr. Weasley in Fred's occasional letters home and she already loved you like a daughter.
A wide smile split her face and she breathlessly waved off your compliment while wiping a streak of flour from her cheek. "Oh honey, you are too kind, too kind!"
"Looks like you've been replaced, Freddie." George was lugging his large suitcase (weighed down by his and Fred's test products), and patted his brother's shoulder comfortingly.
Fred smirked lovingly at the sight of his mother bombarding you and replied, "None of us are surprised though are we Georgie? Can't blame her though."
Mr. Weasley burst out of the cottage and also bowled over Fred, whose fiery red hair was now rumpled from being knocked about. Arthur managed to knock over George's suitcase as well as he sped towards you. "Well, look who's here!" His excitement was twofold: number one, meeting his future daughter-in-law, and number two, finally being able to discuss muggle life with you.
Months ago, he had found out you were muggle-born and to no one's surprise, a four-foot-long letter arrived the very next morning, filled with questions about your muggle life. The letter was punctuated by an apology from Mrs. Weasley; you could practically hear her rolling her eyes. You were more than happy to oblige Mr. Weasley and had been writing him back and forth for months now, and it was now time for him to grill you in person.
He snatched both of your hands out of Mrs. Weasley's hands and shook them violently. "Y/n, y/n, I can't express enough how delighted I am to meet you finally, so very excited--"
"Alright everyone, okay if I have my girlfriend back?"
Fred pried you from Mr. Weasley's grasp and started to drag you away from his parents, but you remembered something. "Wait, wait!" Fred stared at you quizzically as you reached into your bag and rummaged around. You quickly found what you were looking for and pulled it out.
"For you, Mr. Weasley." You bowed low and presented the item to him. He gasped and clapped his hands in delight.
"A tellyfone!" A chunky gray Nokie lay in your hand. It was your parent's old phone and you had asked them to send it to you weeks ago to pass on to Mr. Weasley. He had mentioned his fascination with hand-held phones in his letters, and even though this one didn't work anymore, you knew he would absolutely lose his mind over it.
He was actually breathless as he carefully approached you, as if the phone would run away if he made any loud noise. "May... may I?"
You couldn't help but laugh at his wide eyes and shaking hands. You placed the phone in his hand and closed his fingers around it. "It's all yours, Mr. Weasley." His eyeballs nearly popped out of his head.
Fred took his chance to grasp your hand again and pull you away. You looked back and smiled at the sight of Mr. Weasley waving the phone in his hand and running to show it off to Mrs. Weasley, who was already backing away.
Fred stopped after a few feet and you felt yourself being spun around. He grabbed you by your waist and pulled you in to plant a huge kiss on your lips.
"Fred!" You blushed as he pulled away and you hastily glanced back at Mr. and Mrs. Weasley, nervous that they might have seen. He laughed and gazed at you adoringly.
"My dad's not letting my mom go any time soon, we're not going to see him until sundown." Indeed, Mr. Weasley was still in the throes of excitement as his wife plastered a smile on her face, not wanting to dull her husband's moment.
When you were satisfied that they would not notice, you gave in and threw your arms around his neck, "Fine, baby, give me another one." Fred happily obliged with another kiss, and you held him close as his passionate kiss nearly bent you backwards.
"Gross, guys. Get a room." Ron and Harry gagged as they passed the two of you and Ron called over his shoulder, "In fact, you do have a room! This is your house! Go to your room!"
Fred waggled his eyebrows at you. "He does have a point, y/n, might as well put it to use." With a mischievous cackle, he began dragging you inside with you pretending to protest behind him. Fred didn't think he could be any happier. He'd just had a glimpse into his future, and it was looking good.

✯ ━━━━━━ ✿ ✫ ✿ ━━━━━━ ✯
The twins and I were laughing about something stupid that George had said as the train left the station. I lightly hit the boy in the arm, "Shut up!" I say between laughter.
After we had calmed down, Fred spoke up, "Let's go meet up with Lee and the girls." He said, referring to Alicia and Angelina. The six of us had been a tight knit group since first year, and it now being our sixth year, it was safe to say that we were all extremely close.
George and I agreed, and so the three of us began our trek down the aisles of the train, looking into each of the compartments. Once we found them, we squeezed into the small room, greeting one another.
As the three of us sat down, it began to be a tad bit cramped, with Lee and Alicia taking up the whole of one side, Fred and I had to squeeze in beside Angelina and George.
I pushed past how uncomfortable I was as Lee started a conversation, asking, "Do any of you have a clue as to what's happening at Hogwarts this year?"
"No! Mum's been going ballistic and nobody will tell us what's going on." George told them, Fred nodding along, "Yeah, it's like all the adults are keeping this giant secret."
The topic continued for about twenty minutes, everyone butting in with their own theories as the what was happening. I couldn't really pay attention as I was severely uncomfortable, being pressed in between Fred's shoulder and the window, my arms were pretty much completely constricted.
Fred glanced over at me, with a crease in his brow, noticing how squashed and uncomfortable I was, he leant down slightly to speak to me, "You alright, love?"
"Hm? Yeah, I'm fine, it's just a bit cramped in here." I told him, brushing it off. The boy chuckled lightly, shaking his head, before suddenly he pulled me up by my waist, and placed me in his lap.
I was a bit surprised at first, my eyes going wide for a split second until I let out a small sigh of relief at now finally being able to move my arms. I turned back slightly with a light chuckle and gave him a thankful nod, to which he returned with a cheeky smile.
For a while, everything was fine, I was comfortable and laughing along with the lively conversations in the compartment. But that stopped when I started to squirm a bit, causing Fred to still, letting out a quiet groan, which I didn't quite catch.
I stopped after a moment, finding a comfortable stop on his lap, making the boy let out an inaudible sigh of relief. His attention was brought back to the conversation for a mere minute before I started moving my hips again, finding my spot atop him to be growing more and more uncomfortable the longer I sat here.
One movement I made in particular had my ass digging right into his now hardening bulge. He harshly grabbed my hips, halting my movements which made me jump a bit at the sudden contact.
The boy leaned forward towards my ear, whispering lightly so the others wouldn't hear, "love, if you don't stop that, we're going to have an issue..." He said, his voice had a sudden rasp to it. The unfamiliar tone sent a shiver down my spine, my eyes widening as I realized what I had been doing, and a deep red blush settled on my cheeks.
I was glad the others weren't paying attention to us, they were too encapsulated by their own conversations.
It was an innocent mistake, I was only trying to get comfortable, forgetting that I was literally sitting on top of Fred's dick and squirming around. I turned back slightly, to look at him, as I whispered back, "Do you want me to move?" I asked, not wanting to make him uncomfortable.
He rose a brow at me, a smirk on his face, "You moving is the problem, love." He joked, making me roll my eyes at him, the blush on my cheeks deepening further. He spoke again, this time with a more serious note, "I just need you to stop fidgeting so much, okay?"
He moved one of his hands from my waist to my thigh, his hand casually resting on my inner thigh, his touch causing my skin to tingle. I turned back around, "Fine..." I spoke, innocently looking out the window, making sure I didn't move anymore.
I watched the trees and landscape fly past us, but I couldn't keep the thoughts out of my head. Of what would happen if I did move again. It was definitely tempting, I bit my lip as dirty thoughts made their way into my head. But I shook them away just as quickly as they came. What was I doing? Fred is my best friend, I can't be thinking about him like this.
But on the other hand, it was tempting. So, after about another minute or two of contemplation in my head, I decided to test the waters.
Pretending like I had forgotten our prior conversation, I just slightly moved my hips against his. The boy let out a cough, as if clearing his throat, but I knew better. I stifled my smirk, before moving again, this time the tiniest bit harder. He sucked in a breath, glaring at the back of my head.
He knew exactly what I was doing, but he couldn't do anything, no matter how badly he wanted to, not with his brother and friends in the same compartment. So, he subtlety pinched my waist, as a warning, which sort of backfired on him as it only made me squirm more, my ass hitting exactly the right spot to rile him up.
I could feel it, the effect I had on him, how could I not? It was digging into my ass. The boy grit his teeth, leaning up a bit to whisper to me, "You're playing a dangerous game, love..." He spoke lowly, but I only shrugged, feigning innocence, my hips moving hard against him, making him groan as I turned to give him a smug smile, "I don't know what you're on about." I say simply, turning back around and making sure my movements stayed completely still.
Fred chuckled lowly, throwing his head back against the seat, his tongue swiping over his bottom lip. He was clearly frustrated that I stopped, and I couldn't help but smirk in satisfaction.
About five minutes had gone by, I was so busy basking in glory that I almost missed how Fred gripped my hips and stood us up.
"We're going to go find the trolley. Do any of you want anything?" Fred spoke, asking the others. I was confused by this, but didn't make any move to protest as I was too focused on how hard the boy behind me was grabbing my hips.
Everyone shared a glance before Lee spoke, "No, we're good."
Fred nodded before moving us forward and pushing us out of the compartment and letting the door slide closed behind us. He loosened his tight grip on my hips, but kept them resting there as he pushed me forward to walk down the corridor.
I had no doubt in my mind that he was keeping me so close in front of him to hide his boner. I let a smug smile wash over my face at the situation, but it was quickly washed off my face as my arm was suddenly being tugged into the bathroom. I gasped as Fred pulled us into the small room, slamming the door shut, locking it and then proceeding to push me flush against it.
I stared up at him with wide eyes as he towered over me, the dark look in his eyes making me squirm against the door. He rested his arms on either side of me, effectively trapping me in place between him and the door. He leaned in close, his nose almost touching mine, his eyes roaming hungrily over my face.
"You didn't think you were actually gonna get away with that did you?" The boy asked. "You think you're so clever, don't you? Playing with fire like that, teasing me in the train compartment with our friends around."
I couldn't answer, my words failing on me as my mouth opened and closed like a blubbering fish.
Fred smirked at my reaction to his intense gaze. He pressed his body more firmly against mine, leaving me no escape. His hands moved from the door to my hips, keeping me in place, his grip tight enough to leave slight indents on my skin from his long fingers. He rose a taunting brow at me, "Cat got your tongue, love? You were quite the little minx a few minutes ago. What happened?"
I was in such a state of shock, not knowing what to say, my cheeks were burning. As soon as he had pulled me into the bathroom all of my confidence went down the drain. The way he was looking down at me hungrily, his lust filled eyes staring into my soul, it made my knees weak.
Fred chuckled low in his throat, noticing the effect he was having on me. His smirk turned into a sly grin, his eyes drinking in the sight of my flushed cheeks and the way my body was practically trembling against his.
"Not so cocky now, are you? Just a few minutes ago you were teasing me to no end, knowing exactly what it would do to me. But now..." He leaned in closer, his lips hovering just above my ear, his voice dropping to a low, sultry whisper. "Now you're trembling beneath my touch, and it's driving me mad."
His hot breath fanning over my ear made me let out a shaky breath, I turned my head slightly to look at him. "Fred..." I breathed out, my eyes flickering down to his lips as I bit down on my own. The air in this small bathroom was thick, I felt like I couldn't breathe.
Fred's eyes darkened as he watched my gaze linger on his lips. His gaze zeroed in on my biting down on my own lip, a sight so tempting that it took all his self-control to not attack my mouth in that very moment. He chuckled softly, the sound rough and filled with desire.
"Say my name again." He commanded, his voice a low, gravelly whisper, as he moved his face closer to mine, his breath mingling with mine in the cramped space between us. He smirked, loving the effect he was having on me. He thrived off of it.
I did as he said, breathing out his name once more, "Fred..." I was getting desperate, I needed him to do something.
Fred's eyes darkened with desire as he heard me say his name again, the tone of my voice making his self-control waver even more. He smiled slightly, enjoying the power he held over me in this moment. He knew I wanted him to do something, but he wasn't going to give in that easily. He loved having me at his mercy, the look of want in my eyes making him feel powerful, and making him want me even more.
"You want something, love?" He asked, his voice low and seductive, as he took a piece of my hair and delicately placed it behind my ear.
I nodded, "Mhm." I hummed out, looking up at him with half-lidded eyes. My desire for him was clouding my head.
Fred smirked down at me, the look in my eyes fueling his arrogance and ego. He slowly moved a hand from my waist to my chin, his fingers gently gripping it and tilting it up slightly, forcing me to maintain eye contact with him.
"Use your words, love. Tell me what you want, and maybe I'll give it to you." He teased.
"I want..." I trail off, my voice failing on me. I cleared my throat, looking up at him, "I want you to kiss me."
Fred was consumed by desire and need, the moment I uttered those words he couldn't hold back anymore. He practically lunged at me, capturing my lips in a rough and needy kiss, full of pent-up passion and desperation. My arms went to circle around his neck, but before I could, he quickly took hold of my wrists, pinning them above me with one hand, holding them firmly against the door.
I let out a gasp at the action, which he took full advantage of by plunging his tongue into my mouth, exploring every inch of it, tasting me, claiming me as his own. His free hand wandered down my body, tracing every curve and contour, making me moan around his tongue.
Fred swallowed my moan, the sound only adding to his hunger and desire. He was intoxicated by me, my gasps and sighs fueling his need to have all of me. He continued to explore my body with his hand, each touch leaving a trail of heat in its wake.
He broke the kiss, panting slightly, only to attack my neck with his lips and tongue, nibbling and sucking at the sensitive flesh, determined to leave his mark on me.
"Oh, fuck..." I whined as I felt him bite down on my neck, turning my head slightly to give him better access. My arms squirming in his tight hold.
Fred continued his assault on my neck, he released a low growl, his hold on my wrists tightening as he felt me squirm beneath him, clearly enjoying my reaction to his touch. He nipped and sucked, leaving behind a trail of red marks on my neck.
I shivered as he blew cold air over the tender skin, before speaking into my neck, "You're so sensitive."
I couldn't respond, too caught up in the pleasure, but my eyes suddenly widened as I felt his fingers start playing with the waistband of my pants, running against the skin of my lower stomach. I bit my lip in anticipation, and I could feel Fred smirking against my neck when he noticed.
His fingers continued to toy with the waistband of my pants, occasionally slipping beneath it, teasing the sensitive flesh of my stomach, but not going any further than my panty line. I squirmed in his hold, getting impatient.
He broke away from my neck for a moment to look down at me, and the look in his eyes was pure desire and hunger. "You're so pretty like this, love." He whispered, his voice rough with need.
I continued to squirm in his hold, the way he was still holding my arms against the door was maddening. "Please, Fred... Touch me, please." I whined, desperately.
Fred only chuckled evilly, "Why should I, love? You been teasing me all day, testing my patience." He taunted, his fingers continued to toy with the waistband of my pants, occasionally dipping below the fabric, only to slide back out again, teasing me.
"I'm sorry... I won't tease you anymore, just please. I need it." I pleaded, pushing my hips closer to him. The way his fingers were brushing just above where I needed him was making me even more desperate with desire.
His hand moved from my waistband to my hip, gripping it tightly and forcing me back onto the door. He leaned in closer, his lips hovering just above mine, his words a hot whisper against my mouth. "You're a needy little thing, aren't you? Begging for me like this."
I let out a whimper, nodding at his words as my head rolled against the door. "What do you want, love? Tell me what you need. I want to hear you say it." He said, his voice low and sultry.
"Your fingers. I need them inside of me." I answered, making him chuckle from my blunt response.
"Is that so, hm?" He murmured, his hand trailing away from my hip and moving between my legs to rub me through my pants. I whined at the sensation, finally getting some friction. "You want my fingers, do you? You want me to make you feel good, make you cum?"
I couldn't help but moan from his words, that combined with how he was touching me sent heat over my body. I nodded again, "Yes, please."
"That's a good girl, using your words and asking nicely. I like that." He teased, his fingers moving up to unbutton my pants, pulling them slowly, exposing more of my skin. He began trailing his fingers over the top of my panties, his touch was light and teasing.
He leaned in closer, his lips grazing my ear, as he whispered, "Are you wet for me, love?"
I shivered, nodding my head, "So wet, just for you, Fred." I told him, my arms squirming in his hold once more, I wanted to touch him so badly.
He chuckled darkly at my unsuccessful attempts to break free of his grip, he only tightened his hold on my wrists. He could feel how much I wanted to touch him, but he wasn't done making me a needy mess just yet.
"Is that so?" He whispered, his voice thick with desire, as his fingers slipped beneath the fabric of my panties, gently touching my bare skin, feeling just how aroused I was.
My breathing stuttered as his fingers trailed over my wetness, spreading it over my throbbing clit, causing me to moan loudly. Fred smirked in satisfaction at the sound of my moans, he loved how I was reacting to his touch, how he was reducing me to a moaning mess with just his fingers.
"Shhh, love. You're being too loud. You don't want anyone to hear us, do you? I don't think you want everyone to know just how needy you are for me, how desperate you are for my touch." He whispered, continuing to tease me, his fingers rubbing and circling over my bundle of nerves.
I nodded, biting my lip to stop myself from being too loud, but that went down the drain as I felt him slip two fingers inside of me. I practically screamed at the force with which they entered me. "Fuck!"
Fred chuckled as my reaction to his fingers entering me, it was louder than he initially thought, he quickly dropped his hold from my wrists and moved his hand to cover my mouth, effectively muffling my scream into a mewl.
"Shhh, love. You really can't keep quiet, can you?" He teased, his voice thick as he continued pumping his fingers inside me at a fast pace.
I moaned against his hand, my own hands that were finally free gripping onto his wrist that was moving inside of me. My eyes rolling back in my head as I felt him add a third finger, stretching me out.
"Oh, fuck, love. You're fucking swallowing my fingers." Fred groaned out, curling his fingers inside me, hitting that perfect spot that had that familiar coil in my stomach forming.
I was so close, and I knew he could tell by the way I was clenching around his digits. My breathing was coming out ragged, I was panting against his hand as he continued to hit my g-spot over and over again. My orgasm was right there, I was tipping over the edge until suddenly, Fred took his fingers out of me.
I let out a squeal in protest against his hand, but Fred only chuckled at me, as he dropped his hand from my mouth, his eyes sparkling with mischief.
"Why... Why did you stop?" I panted out, watching as he placed his three fingers that were dripping in my slick in his mouth, sucking me off of them.
He hummed around his fingers, pulling them out of his mouth with a pop, I stared at him in shock as he responded, "Oh, now, love. You didn't think I was going to let you finish just like that, did you? Not after how naughty you've been all day." He teased, a smirk on his lips.
I let out a huff, throwing my head back against the door, frustrated from being denied my release. But my ears perked up as I heard him undoing his belt, making me look back at him.
"Patience, love." He said, undoing his belt and quickly unzipping his pants. "Good things come to those who wait, remember?" He taunted me, slowly letting his pants fall to the ground, and stepping out of them, leaving him in his boxers.
I stared down at the obvious tent, the one that I had created, I bit my lip watching as he paced towards me, pulling me toward him and kissing me hard.
The kiss was more rough and needy than our previous one, we were breathing heavily into it, devouring each other. My hands trailed into his hair, as his trailed down and squeezed my ass, and I moaned as I felt his hard on press against my lower stomach.
In one swift movement he broke the kiss, turning me around and bending me over the sink. He ran his hands over my back, before harshly pulling my underwear down my legs. His hands ran possessively over my hips.
I looked over my shoulder at him, watching as he pushed his boxers down, freeing his length, my eyes widened at the size. "Shit..." I muttered out.
Fred smirked at my reaction, "See something you like, love?" He teased, making my eyes snap up to meet his gaze.
"You're... So big." I spoke, almost cringing at myself, but I couldn't help it. Fred chuckled at my bluntness, he loved how I was so honest and open with my words, not like most girls he'd been with.
"Don't worry, love. I'll make you feel good." He reassured me as his hands stroked my thighs, moving up and down my skin in a soothing motion.
I bit my lip, nodding my head, the way he could be so rough with me one second, and the next be so comforting was making my head dizzy.
"You're so beautiful, you know that?" He murmured as his hands slowly moved higher up my thighs, nearing my bare core. I shivered at his words, his touch making me more needy.
He bent down slightly, placing a kiss on my hip before he went back up, spreading my legs a bit more and started lining himself up with my entrance, running his dick through my wet folds, making me whine.
"You ready?" He asked, to which I nodded, but that seemed to not be good enough because Fred gripped my hip tightly, "No. I need a yes." He growled, as I let out a shaky breath.
"Yes..." I responded, making him smirk.
"Good girl." He praised, before slamming into me, instantly bottoming out, making me scream out his name, "Fuck, Fred!"
My hands gripped tightly onto the edges of the sink, the boy behind me panted heavily as he began to relentlessly pound into me, "Oh, fuck. So fucking tight, love." He spoke, his words adding to the amount of pleasure I was in.
The sound of our skin slapping together, our heavy breathing and moans filled the small bathroom, if anyone walked passed the door they would have no doubt about what was going on in here. "Feel good, love?" Fred questioned, but I could only moan in response.
Fred growled at this, his hand roughly latched onto my hair, pulling me flush against his chest, speaking lowly in my ear, "Huh? I asked you a question."
"Yes! Yes, feels so- Fuck- So good!" I stuttered out, my eyes rolling in the back of my head. The way he pulled on my hair was intoxicating, it was painful, but the pleasure it gave me completely overpowered it.
His free hand trailed up the front of my shirt, pushing it up over my bra, before pushing that up as well. He squeezed my boob in his hand, lightly pinching my nipple, making me whimper.
"Yeah? You like how I fuck you, don't you? You're taking me so well." He praised, his hips stuttering a bit, so he took his hand away from my boob, pulling out for a moment to grab my thigh and rest it atop the edge of the sink.
After he readjusted me, he pushed my back down again, still keeping his strong grip in my hair, before thrusting back into me. "Yes!" I moaned out, the new angle allowing him to hit my g-spot, and his balls to slap my clit repeatedly.
I knew if he kept up this pace I wasn't gonna last much longer, plus I was still a bit sensitive from him denying me my orgasm before. "Fuck, this pussy is all mine." He groaned, his voice hoarse.
"Yes! Oh, fuck it's yours! All yours!" I said in between moans. I was a mess, beginning to clench tightly around him as I felt myself nearing release.
Fred moaned as he felt me squeezing him, "You close, love? Gonna cum?" He taunted, picking up his pace, which I wasn't sure was even possible.
"Yes! So close." I said, my voice cracking.
"Cum then, cum all over my cock." Fred commanded. It didn't take long after his words for my release to wash over me, my eyes rolled back as I let out a guttural moan, my legs shaking as he continued to pound into me, letting me ride out my high.
I felt Fred twitch inside of me before he spoke, "Shit, shit..." He moaned, swiftly pulling out of me, "On your knees." He demanded, his voice low and authoritative. I instantly complied, moving off the sink and getting on my knees in front of him, "Open your mouth for me, love." He said, prompting me to listen, I opened wide, staring up at him as he jerked off above me.
He groaned at the sight of me below him, throwing his head back, as he hovered his tip over my tongue, "You look so good down there." He said, before letting out a guttural moan, and releasing in my mouth.
I moaned as his cum shot out onto my tongue, the salty taste making me hum in pleasure. "Fuck..." He trailed off, his hand slowing on himself as he milked himself dry.
I closed my mouth, swallowing his seed, making him stare down at me darkly, before harshly pulling me up to my feet. "Such a good girl for me." He praised once more, holding my cheek in his hand before pressing a gentle kiss to my lips.
As he pulled away, he gave me a loving look, "Was that okay, love? I didn't go to hard did I?" He asked, making my heart melt. "No, that was... Perfect." I told him, it still baffled me how he could be so rough and dominant and then switch to being so caring and comforting.
He chuckled, "Good." He said, moving away from me to pull his boxers back up and put his pants on. As he did I adjusted my bra and pulled my shirt down, before bending down as well to put my own pants on, but I stopped short when I felt the sudden pain in my legs, making me wobble a bit.
"Woah." Fred spoke, going forward and grabbing my waist to steady me, "You alright?"
"Yeah... My legs just hurt a bit." I told him. Fred smirked at that, making me shoot him a glare, and lightly slap him on the chest. "Shut up."
He rose his hands in mock surrender, "I didn't say anything." I just shook my head at him, trying to bend down again, but he stopped me, "Let me help you."
I watched him as he bent down, slowly pulling up my underwear, then my pants, even buttoning them for me. I gave him a smile as he stood back up, and pecked my lips. "Thanks."
"For what? The sex, or helping you put your clothes back on?" He joked, making me roll my eyes. "Fred." I warned him, making him chuckle. "Okay, okay. I'll stop." He said, as he buckled his belt, while I adjusted my hair, trying to make it look like Fred's hands weren't just gripping and tugging on it a few minutes ago.
"Do you think they'll know?" I asked, making him look at me. He glanced down at my neck, specifically the hickeys that littered every inch of my skin. He stifled his smirk, "Considering the amount of hickeys I left on you... No, they'll have no clue." He said, sarcastically.
I groaned before we both looked at each other, and instantly broke out into laughter. This was definitely not how I thought this day would go when I woke up this morning, but I couldn't complain.

Green-Eyed Monster | F.W.
Tumblr media
For the first time ever, Fred Weasley finds himself jealous over the only person in the world he needn’t worry a bit about.
Pairing: Fred Weasley x f!reader
Word count: 8k
Warnings: SMUT 18+, unprotected sex, oral + fingering (f!receiving, (lots of) dirty talk, name calling, praise/degradation, dom/sub dynamic, some nipple play, touch of a breeding kink, possessiveness/jealousy, some toxic themes, established relationship, swearing, drinking, arguing, angst, fluff, sorry if miss any!
first hp fic in a very long time! what better to post than this mess (jealous, possessive, sexy mess). basically pwp—let me know what you think! (Barely edited at all lmao my apologies)
You sat quietly at George’s desk, eyes focused on a piece of parchment as you both tried to break down the recipe George had scribbled down. There was a hiccup, a hitch in the plan of brewing a batch of Euphoria Elixir for the joke shop, and it was pushing back your plans to place them on the shelves this week. After a few hours of quiet deliberation on his lonesome, George decided to seek your help in hopes of speeding up the process.
So, the two of you put your heads together and re-read the ingredient list a million times, wondering how the hell it turned out murky green instead of sunshine-y yellow. The cauldron sat smoldering across the room, a rain cloud above it as the bubbly mixture spilled over the sides. Upon first glance, you had stated the absolute obvious.
“Isn’t that supposed to be a rainbow?” You raised an eyebrow, looking at your brother-in-law as he collapsed in his chair.
“Yes, you git.” George rolled his eyes, crossing his arms over his chest. You shot him a sharp look, warning him to be nice if he wanted your help. You knew George didn’t mean any of the insults—he was simply frustrated and maybe even a little embarrassed that he could not figure it out by himself. “Sorry, Y/N.” He conceded, realizing he came on a bit too strong.
“S’alright.” You assured him, stepping towards the desk where he sat. “Where’s the ingredient list? We’ll start there.” You offered, knowing you would help no matter how poor of a mood he was in. You loved George almost as much as you loved Fred, if you had to compare. Even if it was in a different way, you had a hard time refusing him when he used the same charm tactics as his twin brother.
After spending so many years in a relationship with Fred, it would be obscure for you not to have a bond with the closest person to him. Over the years, he’d surpassed a friend and had grown into your own brother. You were certain that no matter where life took you and Fred, George would always hold a special place in your heart. When the two opened their shop in Diagon Alley, you volunteered most of your free time to help them in any way you could, and whether it was tweaking new products or doing some of the dirty work, you never really minded.
That evening in specific, Fred was off on some ‘official business’, which really just meant meeting with a potential product buyer at The Leaky Cauldron. Last month, George took the burden of doing so, and they decided it was only fair for him to do it this time. Unfortunately for you, as much as you loved supporting them, it did interfere with your evening plans with him. So, sulking and trying your best to swallow it down, you distracted yourself with stocking shelves downstairs to prepare for another busy day ahead.
You were actually near grateful when George emerged from the office, calling out to you in desperation. It gave you a break from the monotonous back and forth, and someone to talk to. If it could not be Fred, you decided George was the next best.
“So, what’d’ya think it could be?” George asked, peeking over the cauldron that was still spitting back at him. He dodged out of the way, trying his best not to get any of the splashback on his new jumper.
“Well, from what you’ve told me, seems like you put all the right stuff in.” You deducted, pursing your lips slightly as you read over the list for what seemed like the millionth time. “Sad as it sounds, I doubt we can save it now, even if we figure out what happened.” You said, recalling your potions knowledge that Snape had relayed over the years.
“Right, but I’d like to know what’s wrong before I try again.” He explained, taking a moment to look over your sad expression. His eyebrows furrowed, his head cocking to the side as he tried to figure out where it was coming from. “What’s got your knickers in a twist?” Your eyes flickered upwards to meet his, your cheeks tinged red from the heat of the room. Your lips dipped into a frown as you shrugged your shoulders, brushing him off so you did not need to explain yourself. “I know you better than that. Come on, now.” He urged, placing his palms flat against the desk as he leaned towards you, a challenging look in his eye.
You narrowed your brows, keeping a stony expression as you met his gaze. “What’s it to you, Weasley?” You shot back, unsure of where your defensive nature was coming from. Perhaps you weren’t willing to discuss your relationship problems with your boyfriend’s twin brother, or maybe it was because you felt foolish for being upset at all.
“Reckon we’re past that, hmm? Your problems are our problems, and all.” He responded, also unsure of why you were being so reserved with your thoughts. Usually, you were an open book, especially with the two of them.
“My problems aren’t your problems, Georgie.” You shook your head, shutting down the ridiculous notion. “Let’s get back to the real problem, yeah?”
“No, I don’t think so.” George disagreed, his concern now over something completely different. “Is it about Fred?” At that, the tips of your ears began to burn and you shifted uncomfortably in your seat. “Ah, I see.” A devious smile crossed his lips.
“It’s not a big deal.” You covered your tracks, tapping the ink-less quill against the worn parchment.
“I have a hard time believing you, considering you just lied to me.”
“Lied is a strong word,” you rolled your eyes, quickly realizing that there would be no escaping the conversation. “I didn’t lie about anything.”
“What’s he done?”
“Nothing!” You exclaimed, a dry laugh leaving your lips. “It’s just… I’m just being dramatic.” And it’s true, you were being dramatic. Well, maybe not fully, but that’s what you were trying to convince yourself of. “I just miss him, I suppose. I know you both have been busy, but I think maybe I underestimated how busy you would actually be.” You continued, knowing it was wrong to confide in his twin brother about your relationship issues. Still, it felt good to get it off your chest, to voice the concern and have someone shoot you down, just so you knew you were being irrational. “This is the third night in a row we’ve canceled our plans. I’ll get over it. It’s no big deal.”
“That’s a big deal.” He hummed, sympathizing with you to make you feel better. “Bloody inconsiderate, if you ask me.” But you weren’t asking him, and somehow his justification of your feelings only made you feel worse. “What? Not allowed to speak my mind?”
“No—“ you let out a defeated sigh, slumping down in your seat. “I know that, but I was hoping you would tell me I’ve gone mad, instead.”
“Blimey, Y/N, you’re allowed to be upset. We're busy, yeah, but you’re still his girlfriend.” George said, jumping slightly when the rain cloud above the cauldron let out a crack of thunder. “If you’d rather, we can forget the elixir and grab dinner instead. I’m not Fred, but I’m pretty damn close.” He gave you a cheeky smile, earning an honest laugh from you.
“S’alright, Georgie. Thank you, though.” You appreciated his kindness, but you were sure it would only make your predicament even worse, considering Fred’s recently acquired short-fuse when it came to you and George spending so much time together. It was odd for him to be so protective, so jealous of the one person in the world he needn’t worry about, but it seemed as though the new trait was permanent. Perhaps it came from the fact he was also missing you due to your busy schedules, and how it sometimes seemed you and George were most often left at the shop alone.
“You know, I have noticed that lately.” George continued, leaning against the desk as he reminisced over the last few weeks. “Always seems to be us stuck here together.”
“Mhm.” You mumbled, slowly realizing that you weren’t as insane as you previously thought if he was noticing all of the same things. “Let’s just figure this out so I can get home.”
So you did. A grueling hour spent recounting George’s every step in brewing the elixir left the two of you puzzled and even more frustrated. By that point in the night, you were hunched over the long list of his steps you had jotted down so you could (hopefully) discover what he missed.
“I dunno, Georgie.” You sighed. “Seems like you did everything—“ you cut yourself off, leaning closer to the page on the desk as you caught something you hadn’t seen before.
“What?” He asked, his head snapping towards you. “What is it?”
“You said when you let it simmer, it was turquoise.” You said, looking up at him.
“Yeah, so?” He replied, confused why it was such a big deal.
“It’s meant to be blue.” You explained, a grin on your face as you relayed the information to him.
“Turquoise… blue… same thing, innit?” He asked, standing and walking over to you.
“Maybe to you.” You giggled, pointing to the piece of paper where he missed the step. “After you add the shrivelfig, you have to stir it until it changes color.” He walked up behind you, placing one hand on your arm as he leaned over your opposite shoulder. He smelled of butterbeer, likely due to the one he’d been nursing the entire time you sat together. You immediately noticed the warmth of his body, how similar it felt to how Fred touched you, but how drastically different it was all the same.
“Blimey, you’re right!” He exclaimed, his voice still soft so he was not yelling in your ear. “What would I do without you?” He gave your arm a gentle squeeze, leaning closer and pressing the side of his face to yours in a makeshift hug. His hand dropped to your back, lingering there as the conversation continued.
“It’s nothing, really.” You smiled, closing your eyes to enjoy the warmth for a moment. “So now you know. You can do it again, but make sure to stir it until it’s blue. By tomorrow, we’ll have it bottled and on the shelves just like we planned.”
“Our number one girl, saving the day yet again.” He sighed in relief. “I better get to it—“
Before his thought could finish, the door to the office swung open, cutting him short. Your eyes turned upwards, landing on a slightly drunken version of the boyfriend who’d abandoned your evening plans. The gloss of his eyes and the goofy smile on his lips led you to believe so, and the redness on the apples of his cheeks only solidified it. Only his cheeky grin didn’t last too long when he processed the scene in front of him, how close the two of you were, how heavy George’s hand seemed on your back and how rosy your own cheeks were.
Quickly, his jaw tightened, his gaze narrowing as he tried to decipher the whole situation. His nostrils flared ever so slightly, and his arms raised to cross over his chest. Immediately, you knew what you’d be in for; a long, tiresome argument that changed absolutely nothing. Instead of fighting the silent accusations, defending yourself for no real reason at all, you watched him with the same intensity while you awaited a snide comment.
“So what’s all this, then?” Fred asked, his face clearly conveying all of his emotions.
“Helping Georgie make the elixir while you were off getting sloshed at The Leaky Cauldron.” You muttered, noticing George straighten himself up in hopes of avoiding any further damage.
“I was not getting sloshed, I was doing business.” He corrected, defensive over the fact. “S’pose you were hoping I’d take a little longer, yeah? Give you some more time to cozy up with my brother?”
“Blimey, Fred. If you took any longer, I’d imagine you’d have to move in with the lad.” George took your side on the matter. “At least she wouldn’t have to worry about you missing dinner again.” At that, Fred’s eyes cut to you, immediately understanding where the underlying tension was coming from.
“Is that right?” Fred’s voice was no louder than a whisper, all of the pieces clicking together in an instant. “I don’t suppose the two of you had dinner? Let him fill in for me while I was gone?”
“No, we did not.” You snipped, standing as you gathered the ingredients for George’s second attempt at the brew.
“Yeah, right. What else did he fill in for, sweetheart? Anything you think I should know?” At that, your eyes widened and your face turned red. Your entire body felt like it was engulfed in flames, appalled that he would even think such a thing.
“Piss off, Fred.” You muttered, stepping out from behind the desk as tears stung your eyes. George shot you a sympathetic look as you pushed past his brother and out into the stairwell. You trodded down to the main level, swiping fallen tears away from your cheeks as you rushed out the front entrance of the building.
The cool air of the night was nice, especially after spending so long cramped up in the tiny office space, but it was not as freeing as you might have hoped once you heard footsteps following behind you. Without acknowledging him, you pulled your keys from your pocket, hoping that maybe he forgot his own set and you wouldn’t have to deal with his drunken arguments tonight if you got inside before him.
Of course, you knew that was childish and cruel, because despite being upset with him, loving him was the only thing you knew how to do. You unlocked the front door, holding it open with your boot-clad foot as he stumbled his way behind you. As soon as he passed through the doorway, you continued on your journey to ignore him and tossed your keys on the counter.
“Hey,” Fred reached out, his warm hand landing on your arm, stopping you from running any further from him.
“What?” You snapped, immediately regretting the harshness of your tone. He recoiled at the sound, shocked that you spoke to him in such a way. Usually the two of you saw eye to eye on everything, and in your long standing relationship arguing had never been your thing. Until you left school, you were certain the two of you had never been angry at each other, ever.
“What the bloody hell was that about? I leave for a few hours, and the two of you get on like that? Does that happen every time I step out?” You couldn’t help but roll your eyes again, wondering why this became such a problem in the few short months you’d been graduated.
“Merlin, Fred. You’re acting like you caught us in a broom closet.” You tried again to make your way to the bedroom, unwilling to argue a point he knew was blasphemous anyhow. “We were working, not fucking.”
“Yeah, but I bet you would’ve let him, right?” He grabbed your hand, spinning you back around to face him. He pulled you into him, his athletic build never leaving him even after he stopped playing quidditch. “Bitching and moaning cause I couldn’t be home to take you to dinner… if you were so upset, why didn’t you come to me, princess? Tell me what was wrong?” You could smell fire whiskey on his breath, feeling his chest heaving with anger against your own. As angry as you were, you couldn’t help but feel a rush of arousal run through you. The slight sneer on his face, the fire in his eyes, and the protective hold he had on you was sending your head spinning with thoughts much less pertinent to the topic at hand.
“Maybe I would have if you spared me the time of day.” You argued, finding yourself short of breath as you realized just how much he towered over you. “But, as it seems, you’ve been too damn busy to spare me a second glance.”
“Christ, when did you get so needy?” His rebuttal came easy, like he’d been waiting to have this fight for weeks. “Weren’t satisfied at home, so you thought my brother could do it for you?”
“Are you daft?” You hissed, feeling his fingers tighten on your hips. You hated that the feeling made you forget about your troubles, urging you to push the argument to the side and settle it in a better, more pleasurable way. “If that’s what I wanted, you think I’d be up here arguing with you?”
“That depends, sweetheart. Were you planning on getting caught?” He raised an eyebrow, the thud of his heart against his chest letting you know just how worked up he was. There was no way he truly believed you would do that to him, especially after all you had been through together. You wondered if maybe the lack of time spent with each other was getting to him, souring his thoughts because he missed you just as much as you missed him. “We may be identical, Princess, but he could never give you what I can.”
You hated to admit it, but for some strange reason, jealousy looked really good on him.
“What, a headache and a poor mood?” You decided to play his game if he wasn’t willing to listen to reason. If he wanted to fight, you could do it too. “I’m sure he could manage. In fact, he could probably do a hell of a lot more.” That seemed to strike a nerve in him, pushing him over the edge in an instant and changing the entire mood hanging heavy in the room. He no longer wanted to talk, but rather prove a point.
He took a step backwards, never easing his hold as he pushed you towards the kitchen table. He didn’t stop until your ass hit the edge, a mischievous look in his eye replacing the earlier annoyance. He had you locked in place, no intent to back down as he stared down at you over the bridge of his nose. Then, a small smirk turned the corner of his lips, leading you to believe he was also thinking of a much more simple way to solve your problems.
“Maybe you just need a reminder of who you belong to, yeah?” He asked, his voice quieter than it was before. You felt your mouth run dry, your eyes never leaving his as a dull ache between your legs began to pester you.
That would make you feel better, but he had pissed you off enough that you wanted to refuse him the satisfaction.
“Maybe we should get Georgie up here. According to you, he’d be the one to set me straight.” There was a slight venom in your tone letting him know you wouldn’t be letting anything go so easily. A low chuckle shook his shoulders, his eyes gleaming with a sinister look you weren’t sure you’d ever seen from him before that night. He shook his head ever so slightly, playing into you as he reached one arm behind you.
Your heart raced as you awaited a response, wondering if maybe you pushed him too far and crossed a boundary you could not double back on. You didn’t have to wonder long, because without a second thought, he cleared all of the items littering the table with one swift move of his arm. Papers scattered everywhere, floating through the air and landing all over the floor. Broken products and half finished merchandise for the shop tumbled off the edge, falling less than gracefully onto the tile below. Without ever breaking eye contact, he raised an eyebrow, daring you to say it again.
“You think he can fuck you better than I can?” He asked, giving you the opportunity to change your mind.
“Right now? Yeah.” You spat, wondering if he’d ever drop the act and get on with his day. “Seems like all you want to do is get on my nerves.”
“Yeah?” He challenged, his face so close to yours you could feel his breath on your skin. The tip of his nose grazed your own, his normally warm and comforting irises engulfed by his lust-blown pupils. Or perhaps it was anger that gave him the new look—you weren’t quite sure. “You’d rather go home with him at night? Wake up next to him every morning? Is that really what you want, princess?” He taunted, knowing very well that your heart was his, even if he found himself caught up in a few moments of doubt.
Still neglecting to give him any gratification, you nodded your head despite the sickening feeling that washed over you at the thought. As if he called your bluff before you ever said it aloud, he laughed at the certainty in your action, which only seemed to anger you further.
“If that’s the case, seems like I’ve got my work cut out for me tonight.” He responded, brushing the comment off as if it were nothing. If there was one thing Fred couldn’t ever turn down, it was a challenge, and since coming upstairs with you, it was only further proven to him that’s all this was. “Maybe I’ve gotten too comfortable, sweetheart. After so long, you think you’d know that you’re mine, huh?” Before he continued his tyrant, he used his hands on your hips to lift you onto the table with ease. The ache between your legs had grown stronger, more intense and impossible to ignore. You could feel the wetness soaking through your panties, and the thought of his strong arms lifting you so carelessly only made you spiral further. “Maybe I expect too much of you.” He theorized, recognizing the gleam in your eyes because he’d seen it a thousand times before.
He let his hands trail under the hem of your jumper, settling on the button of your jeans as he undid it with ease. You never let your eyes trail from his face, realizing that no matter how upset you were, it could never take away from how much you loved him. He was beautiful, his fiery red hair and the freckles splattered across his cheeks and nose creating a perfect picture. The softness of his complexion and the gentleness hidden deep in his expression assured you that whatever the two of you were doing was nothing more than an act. He knew you were his just as well as you did, but he knew the only way to settle the (admittedly, misguided) fear was to hear you say it aloud.
You helped him pull the fabric from your legs, wrapping your arms around his neck as you lifted your hips from the table. He discarded the clothing on the floor, paying no mind to it as he returned his hands to your bare legs. His eyes searched your face, carefully looking for any sign of discomfort. Instead, he was met with a pleading expression that only seemed to fuel his too large ego even further.
“No matter,” he disregarded his earlier rant, his eyes growing heavy as his hand fell between your legs. His fingertips grazed the thin fabric separating him from your core, a shiver running down his spine as he noticed the arousal that had soaked straight through. “I don’t mind having to show you. Least I’ll get to have my fun too, yeah?” He applied slight pressure to your aching clit, watching to see your reaction. Your eyebrows knitted together, your lips parting slightly as your hips moved forward into his hand, your body betraying your mind and begging him for something more.
At that, a grin encased his face, happy to see that he hadn’t lost his touch, even if your lives were vastly different and ever-changing by the day. He knew exactly how to make you feel good, and he took pride in it.
“See, Princess? She’ll always tell me the truth.” He taunted, his voice quiet as his eyes trailed down to his hand. You swallowed hard, knowing he had you in a stalemate. “Tell me again, who do you think knows how to make you feel good? Who does it best?” He was on a power trip, unwilling to slow down until he heard you admit it. Still, you stood your ground, pressing your lips tightly together so not a single sound could pass through. His grin faded, slowly sinking into a scowl as your disobedience remained clear.
He removed his finger from you, tracing the hem of your panties as he hooked his finger through the side of the fabric resting on your hip. He awaited an answer, giving you the opportunity to change your mind. When you kept your stoicism, he gave one, hard tug on the lacy fabric until it snapped in two. He used his other hand to do it to the opposite side, giving himself easy access to you without hearing a complaint on your end.
“So you don’t care who’s between your legs?” He continued, unrelenting as you stared him down. “Doesn’t matter who, as long as there’s a cock in you? As long as someone’s taking care of your pretty pussy?” Your cheeks flushed, your chest burning as the filthy words washed over you. “Doesn’t matter, sweetheart. When I’m done with you, I’ll be the only person you can think of. Surely then you won’t be able to forget who you belong to.”
His hand connected with your bare cunt, his fingers trailing through your arousal and settling over your clit as he began to trace slow circles into the sensitive area. Your legs trembled at the contact, finally feeling some relief from the nagging sensation that had been taking over.
“Fuck. Fred.” You whispered, giving yourself away immediately. He let out a low hum, pleased with the sound and knowing he was the reason for it. He had you where he wanted you, and now he just had to keep up the pace. You could feel his hardening length against your leg, distracting you completely from the pent up anger and frustration.
“That’s it.” He encouraged, his middle finger sinking inside of you as he let his thumb take over on your clit. “That’s my girl.” He made sure to accentuate the claim, never once letting you forget it. “All you needed was a little help remembering.” Slowly, he pumped his finger into you, keeping time with his thumb as he began to work you towards a climax. “You want to say it for me? Tell me what I already know?” Instead of responding, you let out a whine, your hips bucking forward into his hand. Although it wasn’t what he was looking for, it was just enough for him to keep going.
He curled his fingers as he pumped them into you, begging for a reaction as your hand wrapped around his bicep for support. You felt the tense of his muscles as he worked at you, only pushing you closer to insanity. You were his, undoubtedly and wholeheartedly, and you would be crazy to ever want anyone else.
“Stubborn little thing tonight.” He remarked, his eyes focused on the point in which his hand met with you, never breaking his stare as he watched his fingers disappear into you. “What’s gotten into you?”
“Need more, Freddie.” You replied, your eyes squeezed shut as you felt the pleasure pulsing under your skin. It had been a long time since you felt him this way, and your impatience was quite clear.
“My little whore needs more?” He teased, applying a little more pressure with his thumb. A gasp fell from your lips, sending your upper half leaning forward until your forehead rested against his. “Asking a lot from someone you aren’t being very good for.” He chastised you for your behavior despite being the one that caused the problem in the first place.
“M’sorry, my love. S-so sorry.” You rushed out, his fingers brushing against the sweet spot inside you only he knew how to find.
“That’s not what I want to hear sweetheart, and you know it.” His tone was firm, unrelenting as he continued his torment. You let out a groan of frustration, wishing he’d quicken the pace and give you what you wanted, even though you refused to give in to him.
He leaned forward, closing the gap between your mouths as he grew tired of waiting for the words he wanted to hear. He tasted like the whiskey that had been fuelling his poor mood, sweet and bitter all at once as his tongue grazed your bottom lip. You hated how easy it was for him to turn you into a mess, hated how easy it was for him to make you forget you were angry at all. You pulled him closer to you, holding his arm tightly so he would not pull away. You were stubborn, but despite that, you were showing him everything he wanted to see through your actions alone.
You broke from the kiss as a particularly intense wave of euphoria pulled your stomach. Your forehead continued to rest on his, holding you upright as he continued to give you just enough to keep you satisfied.
“Say it, princess.” His voice was low, raspy and laced with desire as he watched you turn into a mess below him. “Tell me you’re all mine. Tell me I’m the only one who can make you feel like this.” Instead, you connected your mouths again, letting a desperate moan out at the same time. He drank in the sound, his cock throbbing as his hips jutted forward into nothing. He was almost more desperate than you were, which only allowed for you to take him less seriously.
“G-gonna have to try harder than that.” You found a peculiar pleasure in leaving him on edge, giving him a taste of his own medicine as he continued to torture both of you at once. “Show me why I should say it, Freddie. Seems like you’re all t-talk.” You stuttered, tripping over your words as you tried to keep your composure.
He withdrew his hand from you, making you cry out in frustration from the loss of pleasure. Your eyes met his, desperation written all over your face as you protested his actions. Silently, he sunk to his knees between your legs, pulling you to the edge of the table by your hips. He didn’t spare a single glance at your face before his tongue connected with your core, the warm wetness of his tongue even more pleasurable than the rough pad of his thumb.
You laid back on the table, your hands sinking downwards and tangling in the soft locks of hair. Although you were denying him of the statement he wanted to hear, you could not deny that your last argument was wholly untrue. Fred was determined to prove a point, and he was doing it well.
You weren’t far off from an orgasm, his tongue making quick work at pushing you to the edge. The sounds falling from your lips were telling of your current state, and as delirium began to set in, your defenses began to break down.
He suctioned his lips around your clit, adding his fingers to the mix and returning to his earlier pace to torture you further. Every nerve in your body was ablaze with desire, need seeping from every pore as you realized just how badly you needed the release. Sick of the game, you finally broke in fear he would leave you hanging yet again.
“Oh, god.” You gasped, your legs resting over his shoulders in attempt to stop the constant trembling of the lips. “I’m yours, Fred, fuck!” You exclaimed, a sheen layer of sweat forming over your forehead as the knot in your belly began to tighten. “Only you can make me feel this good. Nobody else.” You whined, your fingers tightening on the locks of hair as you began to tug at the strands. You could feel him smiling against you, happy to finally hear you admit the truth.
Pleased with your confessions, he curled his fingers against your g-spot one last time, generously giving you the very thing you’d been pleading for. In a mess, your entire body tensed as the pleasure took hold. The orgasm washed over you, leaving your heart racing against your chest and your head swirling with filthy thoughts for the boy between your legs. A hum of approval let you know he was more than happy with your performance, and he kept his pace until he felt you relax against the table below you.
Once he knew he’d gotten the most out of you, he rose to his feet, towering over you as you laid below him. In the dim moonlight, you could see your orgasm glistening on his chin, only furthering his cockiness as he ran his tongue over his bottom lip so he did not waste a drop of it.
“Always taste so sweet, princess.” He whispered, using one hand to free himself from his pants and his boxers. “And it’s all for me.” He continued, slipping his shirt from his head. He used it to wipe his face clean before tossing it on the floor to join the growing pile of clothes. With shaky hands, you lifted your upper half from the table and pulled your own jumper over your head. “Isn’t that right?” He stepped toward, settling between your legs as his hands ghosted over your bare thighs.
You let out a whimper, his grip landing on your already sore hips as his eyes raked over your entire frame. Your gaze flickered to his cock, hard and aching for relief as he continued to tease you. His fingers tickled your stomach as he trailed his touch upwards, his palm landing flat against your breast as he gave it a gentle squeeze. He let the pad of his thumb brush over your hardened nipple, sending another wave of pleasure through you.
“Answer me, sweetheart.” He wasn’t playing anymore; he wanted to hear the words, and he was done with your obstinacy. He pinched your nipple between his thumb and forefinger,
“Yes,” you huffed, already forgetting the pleasure from your first climax as a whole new wave of need began to take over. “I’m yours, Fred. All yours.” You reiterated your earlier statement, now willing to do whatever he wanted of you to prove the point.
“Tell me how bad you want it.” He shot you a twisted little smile, almost as if he was getting off just from the thought of you begging for him.
“I need it, baby. Need to feel you, please.” You whined, reaching for his arms and pulling him closer. “Want you so bad, Fred. Been waiting all night for it.” You felt the tip of his cock connect with your cunt, his expression faltering as soon as he felt the wetness.
“God, you make it so hard to be upset with you.” He hissed the words through his teeth, using his hand to guide himself through your folds as he sucked in a sharp breath. He settled himself just over your already sensitive clit, pushing his hips forward ever so slightly to apply pressure to the spot. “Sound so pretty when you’re begging to be fucked.”
Slowly, he let his tip run back through your arousal, settling the head just at your entrance. He pushed himself forward, but just barely. You whimpered as you braced yourself for the feeling, only to be let down when he stopped himself from going any further.
“Fred,” you warned, catching his eye so he could see your desperate face. You hoped that if he did, he would stop being such a tease. “Please fuck me.”
“What was that?” He smirked, turning his head slightly so his ear was closer to you. “Didn’t quite catch it.”
“Fred, stop—“ you cut yourself off, letting out a huff of annoyance. You knew chastising him for his actions would only make him less likely to give in, even if it was incredibly hard to hold it back. “I need you to fuck me.” You repeated, clearer and louder in hopes of swaying his decision. “Can’t wait any longer, baby. Please.”
At that, he pushed forward the rest of the way, sending your entire body raising with goosebumps. The stretch as he filled you was exactly what you craved, and as he reached the hilt, his tip brushed against your g-spot so delicately that it almost made you come undone right then and there. Your eyelids grew heavy with satisfaction, focusing on how full you felt with him inside of you, knowing that he for certain would always be the one for you.
“That good enough for you, Princess? This is what you wanted?” He asked, letting himself rest inside you for a moment. He felt your walls flutter around him, pulling him even further and making it harder for him to resist you.
“Mhm,” you hummed, giving him a tired nod of agreement. You could feel him throbbing inside of, desperate for a release just like you had been moments before, but he was still trying to prove his point.
“Nobody else gets to have you like this, sweetheart. You’re mine.” He whispered, now sober from the alcohol but intoxicated by an even stronger, deadlier force; you. “He couldn’t fuck you like this, and you know it.” As he spoke, he withdrew his hips and slammed them forward into you again. The action stole the breath from your lungs, twisting your stomach with pleasure as your nails scratched over his skin.
He began at a pace, slower than normal but the force behind his movements making your head spin. You moaned quietly, lost within the feeling of being so close to him. He never failed to take your breath away, never failed to amaze you with his every move. You were so in love with him it sometimes felt like there was no room within your heart for anyone or anything else.
“Tell me, Y/N.” He ordered, his stare never wavering as he fucked into you. As much as he wanted to succumb to the sensation of you wrapped around him, he found it hard to push the thoughts of your earlier arguments out of his head. “You think he’d fuck you like this? You think he could make you feel this good?”
“No, Freddie.” You gasped, feeling the strength of his thrusts increase, sending the legs of the table wobbling. His fingers tightened on your hips, likely leaving behind angry red marks that would fade into reminders of him for days to come.
“That’s it, Princess.” He panted, his chest heaving as he tried to resist the pull of pleasure. “Don’t you think, not even for a second, that anyone can give you half of what I can.” You both knew this to be fact; nobody in the entire world could ever compare to him. “And why do you think that is?”
“‘C-cause I’m yours,” you managed to stutter out the response, watching him as the statement washed over. He brought his hand to your thigh, your legs wrapped tightly around you as he pulled you back on him with every thrust. His head fell back on his shoulders, the dim light of the room casting a beautiful hue over his already breathtaking features.
“That’s right,” he grunted, slamming his hips forward again. There was a thin layer of sweat sheen on his chest, the toned muscles of his abdomen flexing every time he moved. The exposed columns of his neck made your mouth water, his Adam’s apple bobbing as he swallowed back his own groans of pleasure. “Was that why you were mouthing off? You just needed someone to take care of you? Just needed me to fuck you?”
“God, yes.” You moaned, feeling the pressure in your belly begin to reach a peak.
“You gonna cum for me, sweetheart? All over my cock?” He smiled, looking down at you so he could appreciate the view. “Come on now, making a fucking mess of it.”
“Fuck,” you whimpered, his words hitting you hard and causing the tightening knot in your belly to tense even further.
“That’s my pretty girl. Just like that.” He continued to encourage you, studying your expression as pleasure began to twist it.
It didn’t take much more for you to descend into another orgasm, your entire body quivering as you cried out for him, singing his name like a hymn and he was the god in which you prayed to. Your throat was raw, raspy from the constant string of moans passing your lips. You were tired, almost too fucked out to continue on, but he was having none of it. He didn’t slow his pace as you came down from the high, instead speeding up and ensuring that he pulled your entire body down on him as he fucked into you.
“Freddie, please.” You breathed, feeling the threat of overstimulation begin to creep in. He would have had sympathy had he known you couldn’t take it, but he was confident in your ability to keep up with him.
“What’s wrong, Princess? Wanted it so bad and now you can’t handle it?” He asked, his eyes glazed over with lust as he felt himself approaching his own orgasm. You frowned at his words, now on a quest to prove your own point as you tried to ignore the stinging beginning to set in.
“I can t-take it.” You huffed, a shiver running down your spine as he reached upwards and palmed your breast. He gave the supple flesh a gentle squeeze, his eyes closing in bliss as he let himself slip out of the persona he had created.
“Being so good for me—just a bit longer now.” He whispered, his voice far away as his eyes settled over your face once more. “Bloody hell, Y/N.” he groaned, his forehead creasing as his eyebrows furrowed together. “You’re the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen.”
He slipped his hand between your legs, his thumb landing atop your clit. He traced slow circles, knowing you were a bit further behind him and unwilling to climax without giving you at least one more. He could see how tired you were, but it did not deter him from his commitment to pleasing you.
“I love you, Fred.” You whispered, softened entirely by the sweet look in his eyes. All of his previous anger fled, leaving him just as the boy you’d fallen so hopelessly for.
“I love you, sweetheart.” He hummed, his hips stuttering and his stature faltering. “Give me one more, yeah? I know you can do it.” And he was right, your entire body was ablaze with another orgasm much more powerful than the last two.
“Together?” You gasped, reaching up and settling your palm on his cheek.
“Yeah? You want to cum with me?” He encouraged your train of thought. “Want me to fill that pretty cunt? Really show you who you belong to?”
“Fuck yes, please.” You cried, your fingertips tangling in the locks of hair hanging over his ears. Your walls clenched around him, drawing him in and effortlessly finishing what you had started.
You felt his hips stall, a low growl leaving his lips as he pulled you down on him one last time. He managed to whisper your name as he spilled his release into you, the feeling of him filling you completely sending you spiraling on your own accord. You let out a defeated sigh, the tail end of it turning into a whine as your body went rigid. Your nails scratched at the skin of his arm, your hand on him the only thing keeping you tied to earth instead of floating up and through the clouds.
The both of you rode the high together, euphoria infiltrating every nerve in both of your bodies as he leaned down towards you. Ever so gently, he laid his head on your chest, which was still heaving as you tried to catch up from the lack of oxygen. He placed a plethora of small kisses against the warm skin, his eyes fluttering closed as he appreciated the comfort that came with your company.
Silence hung heavy between you for a few moments, neither of you sure where to go from there. You were still strung out on bliss, barely remembering what got the two of you in the position until he spoke again.
“M’sorry, sweetheart.” His voice barely broke through the room, so timid and shy that you almost missed it completely. “I know you’d never do that. Just got in my head, I s’pose.”
“I… I get it.” You sighed, twisting a lock of his hair. “If I walked in on that, after us being so.. you know. I’d likely feel it too.” You confessed. “I was upset that we had to cancel dinner. I am upset, but not at you.” You tried your best to explain yourself despite exhaustion eating away at your mind. “I’m just upset because I miss you. You’re so busy now, and I’m happy for you, really, but I miss you too.”
“You think I was bloody happy about it?” Fred chuckled, the tip of his fingers tracing shapes into your skin. “I’d much rather be here, with you.” At that, you relaxed completely, understanding that you had gotten too far into your own head. “It’s my favorite place to be. Always has been.”
“Mine too, Fred.” You hummed, smiling softly at the thought.
“I reckon I was a bit jealous, ‘specially at the thought of you and George spending so much time with each other. Would rather it be me, you know, sitting at the shop and laughing with you all night… taking you out for dinner… loving you.” Another gentle kiss was placed to your chest, just before he looked up to meet your eyes. The soft, warm, familiar sight made you feel at ease. He was back to being your Fred, the one you missed all along.
“Darling, you have nothing to be jealous about.” You promised, smiling as he placed a quick peck on your lips. “Though, if it means we get to have brilliant sex like that, by all means do what you have to do.” You explained. “Bloody brilliant, at that.” Without any further words, the two of you descended into a fit of laughter and the clouds that previously hung above your head seemingly cleared in an instant, easily proving to him there was really never a need to worry at all.
