Description: Mobei-Jun doesn't trust his servant and decides to use truth serum to reveal Shang Qinghua's real plans (30k words, finished)

My impression: I love BAMF Shang Qinghua and how good is written emotions and fear. And all events.

[Plot twist] — Deus Ex Aēr Planus by koalaoshiz

Description: original Luo Binghe comes back to svsss and then he meets Shang Qinghua.. (4k words, finished)

My impression: short one fic for mood and I love scene with.. face.. y'know..

[Time Loop] — Echoes of You by Blackberreh

Description: This day Luo Binghe dies. Everytime. It cannot be changed. Nothing can be done about it. So Shen Qingqiu decides to change it completely. Not only this day. (5k words, unfinished) (moshang)

My impression: GORGEOUS, but unfinished fic. It already has its art, but I still think that it deserves more. I wish to write a sequel to it one day (of course, after asking permission from the authors)

I didn't realize I missed how Tossawary writes SQH until I read this! Like, I've read "pride is not the word I'm looking for" and for a while that was all I was reading, SQH has such a fun inner voice.

Having emotions about Morrigan teaching Amell to shapeshift. (Incredible art btw it makes me feral.) This mage who hasn't seen an animal in recent memory (how young were they when they were taken to the Circle?), now choosing to take the shape of a creature they have to understand wholly in order to mimic. The way Morrigan must watch, not understanding why this isn't as easy for them as it was for her, and yet still being a far gentler teacher than Flemeth ever was to her.

Maybe she brings them a dove to study, a creature that reminds her of them. Something domesticated and small, deprived of all instincts and abandoned by the society that made it what it is — something that forgets sometimes that it has wings and can fly. Would Amell understand it well enough to take wing too?
