SOME HC'S ABT THIS FUGLY MAN 💗
Tumblr media
Uhh no tw's i dont think? Also this is my opinion so if u dont agree w smth.. Ok ^^ idc!! :)
(Also some of these hc's (like 3) are inspired by sunlit6279 on here, their Loris hc's were like the only popular ones when i read them so i injected those into my veins and ran with it yay)
SFW AND NSFW!
• Hes so tall.. Taller than Steb, whom is taller than caitlyn, whom is 6'0 (1'88 cm's) AND wearing heels. I'll say hes around 200 cm's, which is like 6'6.. yeah...
• I feel like hes kinda clingy but not in a "Pissing all by yourself, handsome?" Way but more so that he just follows you around silently and subconsiously, hes always gotta be in the same room as you, no matter what ur doing. Exept maybe pissing.
• adding to that i think he'd love showering together, as previously stated hes like huge so unless ur shower is magic only one of u is getting wet at a time lol.
but hes perfectly fine with shivering in the corner, as long as he gets to just admire you and lather you up himself, he'll gladly wash ur hair for you 💗💗
• But PLEASE RETURN THE FAVOUR OMG. Scratch at his scalp with a fruity shampoo and hes a goner, zooked, in pure bliss, ascending. Sighing contently with his eyes closed.
• saw someone else on here (sunlit6279) mention that he probably has a bit of a kink for scents. As a homeless drinker himself i doubt he smells that nice often, and booze sure as shit doesnt. But then you come into his life, lingering in his nostrils, and he just cant get enough. I feel like its the sweet smells that get him.. Marschmellow, sugary pastries, flowers, wild berries and chocolaty scents, that kinda stuff got him weak.
• He'll nudge his nose right against the pulse point of your neck and just inhale, wherever you are, whatever you're doing. Or your wrist right before kissing your palm tenderly.
• Physical touch and acts of service!! LOVE LOVE LOVES CUDDLING. ANY POSITION. ITS THE BEST TO HIM. please just cradle his head and scratch his hair n beard. Please.
He'll do practically anything you ask him to. Feet hurting? Massage. Need tampons/pads? What size pussy, babes?😽 ur hungry? Sandwich :3 wanna take over the world? Whatever you say beautiful. ☺️
...Want him to cum inside? Oh thank god.. He was close to doing that already..
• Hes def really sensitive when it comes to intimacy, everywhere. Hes a grunter, grunts and heavy pants. In the crook of your neck, behind your shoulder, into your hair, forehead touching forehead, depends on the position. God i want him so bad.
• he a munch. Loves eating you out no matter what ur sex is. He gets so sloppy with it, licking up and down ur hole like a thirsty mutt, shaking his head side to side as you cum, teasing ur nipples with his thick fingers.
Speaking of, have y'all SEEN how big his hands are compared to Vi's? Whom is like an 'average sized' person. His hands would swallow yours whole, hold his pinkie or something its probably easier.
•Hes FIT too, broad shoulders, lean back, biceps and thighs bigger than ur head.. Slutty lil waist. after a nice shower he'll wrap u up burrito style in a towel and carry you bridal style to your bedroom to get dressed (⁎˃ᴗ˂⁎)
• On a more domestic note he loves your cooking, even if you kinda suck he still appreciates it so much. And if your great at it hes grabbing seconds.. And thirds.
He would love to help you around in the kitchen aswell, hes a terrible cook himself, but he knows how to chop an onion ok? He'd much rather do it himself than see you cry from it. He knows ur not actually sad, but he doesnt want his babys eyes to sting :((
• Loves petnames so much!!!!!!!! He'll call you things like beautiful/handsome or gorgeous at the end of a sentence. But also uses hun or honey regularily.. Sometimes he will let a 'mama' slip, but not in a weird way. Especially if you have kids already or are pregnant you're his pretty mama, okay? OKAY?.
• i love his SINGULAR mattlock dangling over his forehead. I think its a mattlock anyway, it doesnt look like a regular braid at all.
Lol i just know he'd let u use him as ur personal fidget toy, i'd flick that thing all day, watch it dangle around and smack him in the eye LMAO
--------------------------------------------
(HI!! Im probably gonna make a part 2 cuz i most likely have ALOT more to say abt him but uh i just brainfarted so have this 🤲 also hihi my askbox is open so go ahead and yap if u wanna. Fic ideas, headcanons, literally anything. Im probably gonna toot out some Steb hc's aswell cuz i have a few and i need that fishstick bad.)

Full tier list is here, breakdown of D-tier. I can generally be inclined to like these ones, but you know. They're a little lacking.
Mallow: Couldn't tell you why, but I cannot get into her games iteration. Anime Mallow's cool, and dating Lillie.
Chuck: I love Johto, I'm a bit biased.
Cheren: My wife will be mad, but I think he's kinda bland. His arc doesn't feel like it goes very far.
N: Now this is potentially controversial. I don't really care about N. I think he's kind of uninteresting. There are tidbits of interest, but I think he fails to seriously stick the landing as a dude with stuff going on, and is also like weirdly belligerent when you disagree with him on literally anything.
Pryce: Johto fan, sorry.
Melli: Listen. He's a bitch. I kinda love that for him.
Dreyden: Neat dragon man.
Roark/Kiawe: Sure.
Brycen: I kinda like that he acts as a villain, but otherwise not doing much.
Roxie: I owe an apology to someone, but I stand by it. She's not that interesting to me.
Juniper: she's a decently fun professor figure.
Arezu: she's kinda cute, has a bit of attitude, the game doesn't lean into much with her though.
Ryme: I couldn't tell you. I just didn't feel it. I'm not happy about it either. This is the unfair one.
Olympia: uninteresting.
Grusha: Volkner vibes, but at least he feels young and like there's a reason for his ennui given his snowboarding career's end.
Acerola: kinda quirky but does very little.
Tulip: just doesn't exude much.
Zisu: she's fun enough.
Kamado: Kind of a shithead but I think for interesting reasons. Still don't like him.
Dendra/Miriam: Sure, I'll ship that on the side.
Mai: Daybreak made me like her less. Oops.
Rose: Dude you are so close to being Lysandre-esque but you just miss the mark.
Colress: I legitimately don't know what the point of you is. Seriously, why are you here? What's your goal?
Brawly/Sidney/Phoebe/Aaron: they're fine.
Brock: The anime did not grip me, and he does nothing otherwise.
Nessa: Just never felt the connection.
Oak: "Oh, the most esteemedest professor ever who-" did fuck-all. His only achievement was the Pokedex, and invention we find out is at least two centuries old. Get with it.
Allister: boring.
Karen/Bruno: E4 members I feel very little about.
Elm: I always felt some like because Johto but he really is like the least interesting professor in some ways.
Milo/Byron: sure.
Raifort: Listen to me. I should love her but for some reason I cannot get into it. I could not tell you what the blockage is, I just cannot connect with her.
Hapu: we need to talk about her hands. Those are not hands a human has.
Villain flunkies: these ones have personality!
Zossie/Dulse: I don't remember Ultra Moon's goons but I hated them. These two had a cuter dynamic so I had a bit of attachment, but very little.
Drayton: kind of a punk bitch. I am down for his dynamic with Carmine, but not because of him. I think she should break his bones.
Palmer: he's fine I guess.
Crispin: exudes nothing.
Riley/Marley: sure.
Saturn/Jupiter: less personality than Mars.
Petrel: My man, but he is still a Rocket.
Plumeria: being Team Mom to the goon squad does nothing for me.
Camera lady: Literally forgot her name. WAIT PERRIN! I don't care about her. I do not find her pretty and hate her outfit.
Green: she has some quirkiness but they don't really let her do anything fun.
Protag squad: sure.
Masters squad: Masters OCs do nothing for me, sorry. I think gacha OCs are more in the way than anything.

Be He Foe or Friend
Decided to start posting this here as well! (ao3)
Be He Foe or Friend is a Silmarillion choose your own adventure fic I've been writing for a little while now, and right now I have 3 rounds of chapters out (including the first one.) At the end of each chapter there is a choice, and the one you choose corresponds with which chapter you read next! Right now I have the next chapters on ao3 linked in the options at the bottom, and I'll be reblogging this post with the next chapters!
This is written in second POV, as if you, the reader, are Lalwen.
Tumblr media
Chapter 1: Introductions
“You are still young and this is a big step, my darling Lalwen, but as my daughter and princess of the Noldor, it is time you start attending court and finding your role as a princess of our people. I know you are unsure, but I have every confidence that the people will adore you.” your father said encouragingly.
“Are you sure, atar? I fear due to the controversy of your and amil’s marriage I may be ill received not just in the court, but by the people if I begin to take a greater role…”
Finwë tucks a braid behind your ear, “do not fear my darling, Fingolfin and I will be with you the entire time, even Fëanor will be there today.”
You smile, take a shaky breath, and nod, “I suppose we should stop stalling, then.”
“Lalwen, my daughter, my darling, my precious. You are the one stalling, not me!” we laughed.
---
The court hall had always been lavishly adorned. Precious metals were inlaid into the very stone of the walls and floor, running like rivers and vines. The floor is a beautiful mosaic depicting the path the Noldor traveled from the very waters of Cuiviénen in the far east to the border of the home of the Noldor in the west, the white city of Tirion. The thrones sat on a raised dais, and upon each step a level of the city is depicted, until the top step, which shows the gardens outside this very hall, with the thrones in the middle sitting where the Court Hall would be depicted on the mosaic.
Windows of vibrantly colored glass depicting scenes of the Noldor’s travels and crafts starting nigh a step up from the floor stretch fathoms up, nearly to the ceiling where finely polished gemstones hanging in the eaves and vaults of the roof sparkle brilliantly in the light of the two trees. Between the windows hang intricately woven tapestries displaying the symbols of all the different Craft Guilds gently billowing as a breeze passes through the great doors of the hall.
Today the hall is filled with Noldor dressed in their finest clothes and jewels, and so many elves that they had to remove the benches that lined the halls to make more space. Garlands of flowers and vines stretch across the hall- no, not flowers! Finely crafted stones, ores and gems, shaped and arranged so realistically that one who was not accustomed to the Noldor would not even see the difference between these and the most beautiful of Yavanna’s blooms. If the light of the trees were any brighter the scene would be near blinding with the light reflecting off all the gems, metalwork, and polished stone.
There were also minstrels scattered through the hall, playing soft, joyful melodies and harmonies, for today a new Princess of the Noldor was taking her place in the court.
As the Royal family enters, a hush falls over the hall, so that the very steps of even baby Finarfin, your young brother, can be heard by the elves' ears.
Finwë leads your family in with Indis and baby Finarfin between them, as they pass the people bow, then Fëanor, Nerdanel his wife, pregnant again already! You marvel for a brief moment, and their son Maedhros. Next Fingolfin, your brother, and his betrothed Anarie.
Then it’s your turn. After you pass, the elves rise from their bow, and when you reach the dias and turn, about to take your seat, they erupt into thunderous applause and cheering.
It took several minutes for the crowd to quiet again so Finwë could properly introduce your joining the court. Such was their excitement to have a new Princess in court, as your sister Findis discovered that court was not for her and had begun contemplating becoming a devotee of Varda. The rest of the court session passed in a blur, so luckily there were not any matters that required your attention.
Unlike Findis, Fingolfin, your brother, had taken to court and politics like a… well like how only a prince of the Noldor could.
Fëanor too had taken to courtly matters quickly as well, though his true passions were lore and smithing. Even though he was your half-brother, and your eldest sibling, you did not know much more about him then any other elf, as his disdain for Indis, your mother, and Fingolfin, your brother, usually resulted in him visiting seldom, and on the few occasions he did, he was rather haughty, although never to the point of being straight out rude. He seemed rather tolerable on easier topics though, the few times you had the chance to speak.
Perhaps it was seeing how confident Fëanor and Fingolfin were and how sure in themselves and their beliefs they were was what made you hold your head higher, and even began to allow a seed of courage to begin to take root.
---
Perhaps you should’ve expected someone would ask you about it. It had been controversial from the start, and the memory of elves was long, so it may always be so. But when they asked you if you thought it was fair to Míriel, who was barred from ever being re-embodied when your parents married, it still shook you. For you to say it was unfair would be to say that you wish yourself, your sister, and brothers would never, should never have been born, and your parents never married.
To say that it was not unfair to Míriel who was to be left dead permanently was to appear callus, saying that she made her choice and should never be returned to life.
Your half brother, Fëanor, the son of Míriel, would never miss the opportunity to argue for justice for his mother. But none could blame him, for he alone in all elves born in Valinor knew the pain of the death of a parent, in the undying lands. And furthermore the strange feeling of the loss of one who will never return.
Your brother Fingolfin usually took a more delicate approach, recognizing that Míriel did make a choice for herself, so Finwë had the right to do the same for himself.
All this passed through your mind in a flash, and you voiced your support for:
Fëanor’s position that it was unjust to Míriel, and Fëanor himself for he lost his mother permanently. Go to Fëanor’s Position
Fingolfin’s position that Míriel made her choice, sad that it was, and Finwë had the right to seek happiness when Míriel chose to leave, as Manwe, King of All Arda, declared Finwë’s right to remarry. Go to Fingolfin’s Position.
Allowing everyone, including Finwë and Míriel, privacy in difficult decisions such as these and that the discussion of such personal matters should not be a matter of public debate, despite the fact that it was about their King. Go to Privacy for Eru’s Sake!

"Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror"
A film that contributed to the creation of today's horror films, a film that changed cinematography, a film that will never be forgotten and that will always be mentioned in the best horror films. This is "Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror".
"Nosferatu" is a cult production of the 1920s and today, everyone has probably heard it at least once. as I have already mentioned, the film changed the face of cinema forever, introduced changes and controversies.
Florence Stoker, Bram Stoker's widow, brought a lawsuit against Murnau for illegal use of her husband's novel. She won the lawsuit, and Murnau had to pay damages and destroy all copies of the film. However, the film survived because several copies have survived, according to various versions, from illegal sources or from other countries where the film was shown. I was shocked when I found out about it, it's quite shocking.
Even though "Nosferatu" is based on a book by Bram Stoker, it differs from the plot of the book, this was due to the fact that they did not have the rights to the book. One of the main determinants is the fact that the characters have different names. the ending is also different - the vampire is annihilated, however, in a different way than in Stoker's book, Ellen offers herself as a sacrifice.
In 1979, the most famous remake of the film, Nosferatu the Vampire, was made by Werner Herzog. Since Symphony of Horrors, Stoker's novel had become public domain, so Herzog borrowed characters from it.
let's get back to the movie. was shot mainly in Germany (as befits a German production), exactly on the Baltic Sea, in Slovakia (Dolny Kubin, Oravsky Podzamok, Vratna Valley), in Sweden (Uppsala University) and in Germany (Heligoland, Lauenburg, Rostock, Wismar, Westfalia ).
Starring: Max Schreck as Count Orlok, after the release of the film he was associated with evil and there were even suspicions that he was a real vampire, Greta Schröder is mainly associated with the role of Ellen Hutter and Gustav von Wangenheim played the role of Thomas Hutter, he is also known for his role in the film "Woman on the Moon" and is associated with communist activities. Most of the actors are associated mainly with this film.
What's also interesting is that Nosfertu has to be poured during the day, otherwise it would die.
Despite the opinions of critics who say that the film is not scary and is an experiment, it is worthy of attention and admiration. At that time, promoting such behavior was quite brave, the fact that Max Schreck agreed to such a risk, after all, after watching the film, it was literally believed that he played so well a vampire because he was one.
The film is a great classic without which horror cinema would not be what it is today, it is worth paying attention to it, much less buying or downloading it on DVD.
Of course, I forgot the most important thing, i.e. mistakes. Strony w antycznej książce o wampirach, opatrzone są nowoczesnymi znakami wodnymi, It's such a small mistake but it changes so much. As Hutter goes to sleep in his room at the inn, in the distance, in the left corner, the hand of a crew member can be seen waving a piece of cloth at the camera. The bite mark on the dead captain's neck does not match Orlock's vampire teeth, his fangs are not that far apart, such distinctive teeth and such a mistake?
the film also contributed to culture. Fragments of the film were used in Queen's music video "Under Pressure" (I'll try to post it on my blog someday). The Metallica guitarist wears a T-shirt with the title of the movie in the 'Nothing Else Matters' music video.
I guess it's time for a summary.
Thomas Hutter (Gustav von Wangenheim) breaks up with his beloved wife Ellen (Greta Schroeder) and goes to Count Orlok (Max Schreck) in order to sign a contract with him for the sale of a house in his hometown of Wisborg. Along the way, people warn him about the count, but the young boy does not believe in stories about the vampire. Hutter reaches the castle, where the bloodthirsty Nosferatu is waiting for him. Thomas is saved from the final attack of the vampire count by Ellen, but she does not realize that she is attracting his attention. Nosferatu sets off by ship to Wisborg.

A reminder kanye west is not just a raging antisemite, but also a misogynist.
''Misogynistic'': At Kanye West's Party, Sushi Served Off Naked Women
Mr. West was was taking part in a Japanese practice called Nyotaimori, which is when sashimi or sushi is served from the naked body of a woman.
Kanye West, who recently celebrated his 46th birthday has sparked controversy after he served sushi off naked women at his party in Los Angeles. Pictures and videos of the bizarre party that are doing rounds on social media show guests eating sushi off a woman, who was only wearing a bikini top and bottom.
One picture showed a tray of sushi stacked between the woman's legs, with food resting above her chest, torso, and waist. The woman had kept her arms flat on the table and her head up while appearing to have a calm look on her face. The theme of the party was minimal, with a candlelit aesthetic.
For the unversed, Mr. West was taking part in a Japanese practice called Nyotaimori, which is when sashimi or sushi is served from the naked body of a woman.
Many social media users expressed shock at the pictures, noting how the use of naked models was ''disrespectful'' and accused the rapper of being misogynistic.
One user wrote, ''I'm not sure what's more disturbing, the fact that Kanye had a naked woman as a sushi platter or the fact that he thought it was an appropriate party idea. Either way, I think I'll pass on any future invitations to his shindigs.''
Another commented, ''In what WORLD is treating women like objects for male consumption (literally), not misogyny?''
A third called it "the grossest display of misogyny ever. Gluttonous misogyny." Questioning the practice, a fourth added, ''Am I the only one who won't be able to gulp even a single bite if they were on my table...watching expressionless alive human bodies like mine without clothes near my food makes me feel horrible..then western people consider themselves civilized and modern.''
Notably, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's 9-year-old daughter North West was also present at the party. The rapper's wife, Bianca Censori, and North were pictured smiling, chatting, and walking hand in hand as they arrived at the party.
Questions have also been raised about why North was at such an inappropriate bash as the young girl was seen standing next to a tray of sushi in a video.
Another said, ''He wasn't moved by the fact that North West was in attendance.''
Mr. West, who is hardly a stranger to controversy, came under heat last year after he shared a number of antisemitic comments and conspiracy theories on social media and in interviews. Brands including Adidas, Gap, and Balenciaga severed ties with the rapper and producer over the remarks.
The 46-year-old rapper, who is legally known as Ye, married Bianca Censori earlier this year at a private ceremony. He was married to TV personality wife Kim Kardashian from 2014 until November 2022. The former couple have four kids North, Saint, Chi, and Psalm, together.

so i finally read devil in winter, thank you so much for that btw, i had a GREAT time, finished it in one afternoon, bless you truly <3 now i understand evie and sebastian appear in other novels? could you tell me which ones to read bc i swear i loved those two and also any other novels i might like if i enjoyed that one? THANK YOU
Yessss I’m so glad enjoyed it!!!! I saved this as a draft and I'm not sure if you're going to see this if I don't make it public (I'm sorry!) so posting now. If you haven’t read the other Wallflowers books, Evie is in all the other ones as a supporting character. Sebastian is the villain of book 2, obvi, lol. He also cameos in book 4 where he’s kinda on thin ice with everyone but Evie is preggers so they’re stuck with him.
They have their own cute scenes in A Wallflower Christmas, where they have pregnant Christmas sex.
Otherwise, I think Sebastian cameos in Mine Till Midnight…. Then in the Ravenels he and Evie show up a lot because three of the books are about the offspring.
Devil in Spring—their son Gabriel is the hero, it’s real cute; the prologue is them role playing while Sebastian tries to break it to Evie that their oldest son totally compromised a girl lol
Devil’s Daughter—their eldest, Phoebe, is the heroine; it’s very popular and she’s a widowed single mom who falls for a former scoundrel, but tbh this one does nothing for me
Devil in Disguise—very controversial but super connected to their family, especially Sebastian. Not sure if you've been spoiled there, so I won't say more :)
For book that might hit similar places, I'd recommend...
When the Duke Was Wicked by Lorraine Heath. An all time favorite of mine, and I think it has a great rake hero (also, the heroine is a sweet redhead!) The basic setup of the book is that the hero and heroine were raised as family friends, their parents were tight, but he's nine years older. He had no idea, but she had this intense girlish infatuation with him and was crushed when he married young... and he was super devoted as a husband, but then his wife and young daughter died and he radically changed and became this super slutty rake. The impetus of the novel is that the heroine, Grace, asks the hero, Lovingdon, to help her find a good husband and he ends up corrupting her--which is maybe what she wanted, lol. He's so slutty, but he also adore Grace and can't fucking accept it because he's having such a hard time with accepting that he could love someone else... maybe even more than he loved his wife.
TW: past medical crises are discussed at length; lmk if you need more info.
You could also check out Surrender to the Devil by Lorraine Heath--another bad boy duke aristo hero and a lovely redheaded heroine, lol. This one is about the parents of the heroine of the book I just recommended. She grew up on the streets and is just this really sweet woman, he's this rakish caustic duke (who has a lot of inner pain, naturally). He decides to make her his mistress, but ends up falling head over heels.
TW: heroine was sexually assaulted as a child and is very traumatized; the hero is really gentle with her once he realizes she has sexual hangups. There's also a lot of discussion of the abuse of a side female character.
Any Duchess Will Do by Tessa Dare. This is another "we saw this hero be a slutty douche in a previous book, now he's back and falling in love". Tessa's books are funny and sexy but also emotional. The duke in this book was introduced in "A Week to be Wicked" (also a great book) as a tool, and he won't settle down, so his mom is like please choose a bride... and he's like you know what I'll choose this fucking barmaid. His mom takes him up on it and decides to My Fair Lady the barmaid, who he has no actual intention of marrying... until he falls for her lol.
How to Steal A Scoundrel's Heart by Vivienne Lorret. This one works really well, imo. The hero is a marquess who propositions the heroine to be his mistress, and at first she turns him down... but then she gives because she has nowhere else to turn. He's super cool with his love affairs, and gives her this contract that last four months, no more and no less. It's this super romantic, lovely romance and I so recommend it.
The Serpent Prince by Elizabeth Hoyt. A great "flashy rake x shy virgin" book. The heroine finds the hero left for dead on the side of the road, and she nurses him back to health.... And whoops, the rake falls hard! It's also fully insane, because Hoyt.
The Devil of Downtown by Joanna Shupe. A Gilded Age villainous rake/sweet virgin book. The hero is a rake and a gangster, and he ends up falling for the do gooder activist daughter of an influential man in town--and it's kind of a "who's corrupting who" thing.

The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived
I've not been in the business of paternity testing TTPD because it's led to a much richer experience without it. I've been particularly moved/saddened by religious trauma as theme throughout. To me, if there's a relationship at the center of TTPD it's her most enduring, and traumatic, one with fame. Also, I just don't think any of these songs are inspired by a single "muse." Or really any of her adult work. Maybe some songs of hers are one thing on the surface and many other things underneath... maybe all of them can be true. Maybe none of them are. Her mind is just that good.
I say this because I was really struck by a line in "The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived": But you are what you did. Which finally reminded me of the song "Innocent"... which was (allegedly?) written about K****.
Opposite sentiments, sure. But it made me wonder what that experience of rerecording it for Speak Now must have been like. That song certainly doesn't ring true for her anymore, but she rerecorded it faithfully. And then... I replayed TSMWEL and that (truly top tier) bridge hit a little different:
Were you sent by someone who wanted me dead? Did you sleep with a gun underneath our bed Were you were writing a book? Were you a sleeper cell spy? In 50 years will this all be declassified? You'll confess what you did And I'll say good riddance ‘Cause it wasn't sexy once it wasn’t forbidden I would've died for your sins Instead, I just died inside And you deserve prison, but you won’t get time You'll slide into inboxes and slip through the bars You crashed my party and your rental car You said normal girls were boring But you were gone by the morning You kicked out the stage lights but you're still performing And in plain sight, you hid But you are what you did And I'll forget you but I'll never forgive The smallest man who ever lived
She's used the "crash my party" idea in "This is Why We Can't Have Nice Things," and could refer to the VMAs moment or the Bleachella era for ex. And the first thing that really made the alarms go off was the crash of the rental car mention. K**** talks about his near fatal car crash (resulting in having his jaw wired shut/facial damage) of his rental Lexus in his music and documentary.
As for the fateful recording leak, even Tree Paine clapped back about it once the full clip came out saying what they did was illegal. But that's certainly not the only problematic thing that's come out about him in recent years.
Slip through the bars could be working double/triple time - slipping through bars of prison, his own lyrics/performing, her own songs about him.
I remember that interview of young Taylor in Miss Americana being asked if she was a K**** fan after that famous interruption and she replies something like, "Yeah, I mean it's K****." That artist who would one day become Y**zus. But I imagine that devastating line about dying for your sins carries far deeper weight than just this simple reading. And I fully think this song is inspired by more than one bad man/system and the same lines apply to any matter of sin.
The "kicked out the stage lights, but you're still performing" feels pretty self explanatory with what he's up to these days (not performing massive world tours). But I do think the "In plain sight, you hid" is pretty powerful because obviously the phone call moment was shared by him/his wife and presented as the full truth (it wasn't). And they rode that controversy for all they could get out of it.
The sexy/forbidden line is hard for me to even express in a way that feels ok to talk about in a wildly speculative way (which is what I'm doing). But there's the surface level/romantic lead of "oh we couldn't be together and once we could be you weren't interested anymore." But if we read it, knowing how K**** (grossly) capitalized on this moment, as a call out about the consent of that entire situation I read it as far more bone chilling.
Anyway, in the days after TTPD release and Taylor herself sharing articles that focus on how we should not be classifying each song as being about [insert name here] lover and an album that seems to constantly tell us "you don't know me, but if you looked closer you might find something bigger," it would be fairly genius to cloak a song about an abusive industry as a truly spectacular break up song. And for us, it can be that if we want.
One last thought... while this was an interesting puzzle to connect, and get off my chest, it's true that it really doesn't matter. I don't think there's a way to know the documentary-level truth about any of this music (unless you're her). She knows her own mythology looms too tall and I wonder what else I'll learn (more universally) while practicing forgetting as I replay and replay and replay.

An Introduction...
Tumblr media
Wow, is this weird. Hi, internet! I haven't been on Tumblr for 6 years, but I needed a place to share my writing, so here I am!
This page is very under construction at the moment, so thank you for baring with the dust.
Allow me to explain-- I go by Kitty here on the world wide web, and I am an avid writer. I know Tumblr used to love labels back in the day, so maybe that's a good place to start.
I'm part of several different communities. I'm disabled, nerudivergent, queer and optimistic out of spite. Naturally, the subjects of my writing often involve these topics. Professionally, I've worked in food for most of my career and done everything from cooking to managing with some minor PR and social media sprinkled throughout. For the last four or five years of my career, I've focused a lot on teaching, training and coaching in the professional setting. I eventually went on to become a very under-paid public tutor and now am a private tutor as well! I still have a day job, but like every aspirational 1099-er, I hope to one day, well, you know, not. That's part of why I've been sharing my writing more these days.
I live a pretty quiet, easygoing life with my partner and our pets. I am life-long poet, a certified coffee guru, the child of multigenerational rock-hounding, an avid hiker and and a stereotypical Pilates wife. My disabilities might make things inconvenient but I take tremendous pleasure in making people feel ashamed of themselves for underestimating me.
That's a little bit about me! Now, about the blog-- I'll be working on this blog in coming months. You can expect to find a diverse plethora of original content for your consumption including:
Video-Novels (yes, full on, 100k+ word novels)
Spoken Poetry
Written Poetry
Short Stories
Prose
Blog Posts
Recipes
Comedically Quotable Rants
and more!
Eventually, I will also be able to organize the resources I've amassed over my years of volunteering into what will hopefully become a helpful webpage. I was a runaway youth with a big history and I know that things can be damn hard sometimes. I have a smudge of experience with issues pertaining to mental health, physiological health-- especially for AFAB people, poverty and youth issues. That being said, I'm not comfortable engaging with minors (the voting kind, not the drinking kind, all legal adults are fine), so if I suspect you are one, I will ignore you. Good thing that Tumblr is so outdated that young people don't even know it exists anymore.
Fair warning: I am controversial occasionally.
Anyway, that's all I can muster up to write about for now.
Cheers to my future audience!

What do you think of queen Mary and king George's relationship? I heard that he was only devoted to her and never took a mistress. Unlike his father...
two awkward and introvert souls ♡ i always loved these two letters from them:
Mary once wrote: ‘I am only looking forward to the time when you and I shall be alone at Sandringham…I am very sorry that I am still so shy with you, I tried not to be so the other day, but alas failed, I was angry with myself! It is so stupid to be so stiff together and really there is nothing I would not tell you, except that I love you more than anybody in the world, and this I cannot tell you myself, so I write it to relieve my feelings.’
George replied: 'Thank God we both understand each other, and I think it really unnecessary for me to tell you how deep my love for you my darling is and I feel it growing stronger and stronger every time I see you; although I may appear shy and cold.’
& that's bloody lovely.
Regarding Bertie, I’m going to say something that may sound controversial but... it was also an arranged marriage for him.
We all have this idea of love as, deep loyalty, unending commitment, faithfulness. But life is messy and relationships are hard to nourish and maintain. Furthermore, regarding royal marriages, these values were not put at the forefront, there were other considerations to take into account (politics, religions, status and so on). Some royal couples married after falling in love: it lasted forever for a few, for some just a few years and for others - in the best scenario - they succeeded in establishing a sort of respectful partnership. George and Mary, despite a rocky start *when you are engaged to his eldest brother first* seem to fall in the first category.
Bertie and Alexandra were not a love match from the get go, even though Victoria pushed this narrative. Bertie was around nineteen when his parents began to put massive pressure on him to not let pass the "beautiful opportunity" aka Alexandra. They met twice before their wedding. Twice. Let's not forget Vicky's lamentation over Bertie's lack of enthusiasm after meeting Alexandra for the first time: ‘that sweet lovely flower - young and beautiful - that even makes my heart beat when I look at her - which would make most men fire and flames - not even producing an impression enough to last from Baden to England' lmao
At the time, Bertie was already involved in London's high-society circles where debauchery and adultery was common. + I'm going to play armchair psychologist but he was in complete opposition to his father with whom he had a complex relationship with. He rejected Albert and Victoria's family model.
Albert's premature death must have weighed into the balance and Bertie finally agreed to marry Alexandra, he was twenty one and she was nineteen years old. Would you uphold your wedding vows "be your loving and faithful wife/husband" to someone you met twice and with whom you know it is going to be forever because divorce is frown upon ? I know I wouldn't, but perhaps it's because I'm French and since we have low morals... I'll always feel sorry for Alexandra for having to put up with all Bertie's indiscretions, she deserved better. SHE should have been allowed to pursue her own pleasures.
Yet, they managed to create a harmonious marriage and they both made it work. There is no doubt that Bertie came to love her, but in his own way! :)

🧠 for Bond and also 🙋‍♀️ please!
::waves:: hi! Thanks for the ask!
🧠 Pick a character, and I'll tell you my favorite headcanon for them.
So, this may be a controversial head canon, but would love to hear contrasting or supporting views, either way, because I think it's fun to think about: one of my headcanons for Bond is that he doesn't really know how to enjoy things. I think the closest we come to seeing him have actual fun is in the bar scene in QoS (I think) where he's shooting the shit with Felix, right before he gets shot at for real; and the second closest is maybe when he's driving a fast car and appreciating its features. But we so rarely, if ever, see Bond experiencing genuine joy, or fun, or laughing, and it makes me feel like maybe he's forgotten what those things feel like. It's one of the reasons I'm a little bit obsessed with the idea of retired!Bond, and with giving him hobbies, which I've written a little bit about before. I'm exploring this as well in one of my WIPs, where Bond is dealing with trauma in part just by trying to find things he actually likes to do to fill his time, but I do think that when people (fictional or otherwise) spend most of their time in survival mode, so much of what otherwise gives life meaning and joy can get shunted aside as frivolous or trivial. And when I write Bond, I want to try to give some of that lightheartedness back to him, if that makes sense.
🙋‍♀️ Do any irl people know you write fanfic?
Believe it or not, until very recently, the answer would have been "not a single IRL person in my life knows I write fanfic!" But I did actually, finally, tell my wife this week, in part after talking it through a little bit with @mr-iskender. It's hard to explain exactly why I hesitated to tell anyone in the first place. It's not shame-based at all--I think writing fanfic is wonderful and fun and amazing and will defend it on a hill to whomever needs to hear it. But it felt like the one thing in my life that was *just* mine, and I felt (feel) protective of it. I've always been introverted, and as a kid and young adult, my books and my journals and the things that I wrote enabled me to thrive and understand myself in ways that nothing else did, and helped me to recharge my batteries after being in the larger world. And I think the need to have a refuge to do that still exists, even as an adult. Without completely doxxing myself, I'll just say generally that I'm a human rights lawyer, and much of my day is spent constantly responding to atrocities and world events and that takes...a lot of my energy and, honestly, my heart, and all of that is outward-facing. I'm also married, and my wife and I have a small child, and my rule has always been that I try to give my family the best of me, no matter what. This is a conscious choice that I'm happy with, but it basically means that every ounce of my outward-facing energy is...kind of occupied? And writing (especially, lately, fanfic) has been my way of having my own little world again, something that brings me joy but doesn't really ask anything of me that I'm not able or prepared to give.
Sorry, this is getting *massively* long and I'm probably oversharing, but I will just add that, at the end of the day, I am glad I told my wife, just because her reaction was perfect. She told me that she loves my rich inner world, and that she loves that it belongs to me, and that I can share anything I want to at any time, but she also supports me having something that's mine alone. Having that conversation was lovely and I'm glad I did it, so thanks, Alex, for the boost! Sometimes it can feel really good to be seen.

"Jaken, look after Rin."
If I don't know where/whom this sentence comes from, I'll think this is a sentence asking someone to take care of their CHILD, not a wife.
That's the whole problem with Sumisawa's pedoship. He didn't let Rin grow up. She's still a young teen who hero-worships Pedomaru and blindly obeys his every order, he's still the decision-maker for himself AND her. NOTHING has changed between them. Fanon SessRin has always been a controversial, groomy pedo ship, but steps could have been taken by Sunrise to make it merely a squicky, somewhat creepy pairing instead of the most disgusting, abusive and pedophilic couple in modern shonen. But nope, Sumisawa had to have his lolicon cake to stuff his face with. ☠️

Happy FFWF! Do you have a favourite story of yours so far? Why would you choose that one?
Okay, so, I will divide this question in three sections: HP story, stories of my main and og stories of mine
HP story: My favourite one planned so far is Jude's story on her way of her Happy Ever After! She's got the man of her dreams, a wonderful son and a life and future all planned out until a letter comes: the father of her son, whom she hasn't seen in years, is suing her for custody of her son. And she also finds out that she's pregnant (they had been trying for a while) and finds herself battling to keep her son by her side and with pregnancy and reflecting on her life
I'd choose this one because we see an older Jude who is wiser and stronger and more open and knows exactly what she wants and cares very little of what they'll say, not to mention we see her in Mama Bear mode and her dynamic with her son and her now husband Caspar @cursebreakerfarrier who is a dream come true. I look forward writing their story and I know that Jude and I will learn a lot from their journey.
Tumblr media
Story on my main @noesapphic : The Viscountess.
Nicole is a widow and mother of a child, who, after grieving her husband for years, decides to move into London, the city where she met her late husband, and try to move on as her young daughter Anne grows up. In there she meets a group of people her age with their own stories to tell, and she can't stay quite away from the mysterious and dashing divorcé...
Similar to Jude, Nicole is a grown woman with broad experience in romance, motherhood, friendship... She's a grown adult, but there is still so many things she's yet to learn. And to own up the fact that her baby daughter is no longer a baby, but on her way of being a woman. She'll also finally come to terms with her husband's abrupt death and allow herself to be simply something more than her husband's widow and daughter's mother. Plus, she's my first plus-sized OC
Tumblr media
Original one: Unnamed Elizabeth De Loughrey's story
Elizabeth has grown up with the perfect life and everything a girl has ever wished. We are in the 1830s England, twenty years after Joanna's victory over one of the worst villains. She is named a potential Diamond of the First Water, the royal family adores her, she has a wonderful father and several siblings who look up to her and every man wishes to make her his bride. That is until she meets a controversial Russian Grand Duke who is in exile of her hometown, Dracaria, for several crimes. The 20 year-old debutante is drawn to him and his mystery and can't stay quite away. The moment she marries him, her life will change forevermore.
In this story I'll probably explore the most difficult themes: domestic violence and all kinds of violence towards women, childhood trauma, evolving from a rebellious, clueless teenager, the stages of a highly abusive marriage, the politics and constant change and the newer views of women in the mid to late 19th century of the time, we see Elizabeth grow up and mature and learn to be a good mother and when to say no and stop. What I like of it it's that Elizabeth's character goes through all of the phases of a woman in her life: the rebellious teenager who marries the inconvenient and narcissistic man just to spite her parents, a growing and maturing young adult who's learning how to be independent, coming to terms with age and the fact that her parents and many family members are going to die, motherhood and recognizing that her husband is an abusive and wife beater fucker, how to be an empress regnant in a man-led world and full of prejudice and misogyny and what it takes to be taken seriously, the stages of grief, the question of revenge, getting out and over an abusive marriage that's been going on for long and the consequences, the new world before her, trying to be more than the woman her husband shaped for himself (à la Priscilla Presley after that fucker finally died) coming to terms with the fact that what she went through during her marriage was wrong, finding love again, this time a true, healthy and genuine one, and to set herself free of what other people will say and reach the last phase that is being unapologetically yourself.

George and Sarah
Y'all think King George III was hot shit but he was a damn nerd and you all should know:
So he was raised pretty isolated from anyone his age and as a teen/young adult and was pretty insecure and raised very religiously. Which led to... uh... I'll just let biographer Janice Hadlow explain it...
"In the winter, conducting one of his regular inventories of George's state of mind, Bute became convinced the prince was hiding something from him. Pressed to declare himself, George was cautious at first, but eventually began a hesitant explanation of his mood. At first, he confined himself to generalities. 'You have often accused me of growing grave and thoughtful', he confessed. 'It is entirely owing to a daily increasing admiration of the fair sex, which I am attempting with all the philosophy and resolution I am capable of, to keep under. I should be ashamed,' he wrote ruefully, 'after having so long resisted the charms of those divine creatures, now to become their prey.' There is no doubt that the twenty-one-year-old George was still a virgin. His younger brother Edward, far more like his father and grandfather and his tastes, had eagerly embarked on affairs as soon as he had escaped the schoolroom, but George had thus far remained true to his mother's principles of self-denial and restraint. Walpole believed that if she could, Augusta would have preferred to keep her son perpetually away from the lures of designing women [...] [George confessed] to Bute that he found repressing his desires harder and harder. 'You will plainly feel how strong a struggle there is between the boiling youth of 21 years and prudence.' He hoped 'the last will ever keep the upper hand, indeed if I can but weather it, marriage will put a stop to this conflict in my breast.'"
Then he met Lady Sarah Lennox... and oh boy....
"I was struck with her first appearance at St James's, and my passion has increased every time I have since beheld her; her voice is sweet, she seems sensible ... in short, she is everything I can form to myself lovely." "I am grown daily unhappy, sleep has left me, which was never before interrupted by any reverse of fortune." "The other day, I heard it suggested that the Duke of Marlborough made up to her. I shifted my grief till I retired to my chamber where I remained for several hours in despair." "I protest before God, I have never had any improper thoughts with regard to her; I don't deny having flattered myself with hopes that one day or another you (Bute) would consent to my raising her to the throne."
Unfortunately for George, the marriage was advised against. Sarah was an English aristocrat and a marriage between an aristocrat and a royal would be dangerous, politically speaking (not to mention her family had married into Henry Fox's family, Henry being a very controversial politician). George sadly agreed, understanding the issue. And he forgot about Sarah... for a few months... until he saw her again...
But now George was king! And people were scrambling to find him a wife! So maybe it was worth another shot?? This time he'll ask Sarah.
...But he's still very insecure and awkward, so he goes to Sarah's friend, Susan, instead and the following convention ensues after George casually mentions his impending coronation:
[K = King George, LS = Lady Susan]
"K: Won't it be a finer sight when there is a queen?
LS: To be sure, sir.
K: I have had a great many applications from abroad, but I don't like them. I have had none at home. I should like that better.
LS: (Nothing, frightened)
K: What do you think of your friend? You know who I mean; don't you think her fittest?
LS: Think, sir?
K: I think none so fit."
(Transcribed by Henry Fox)
Then George walked over to Sarah and told her to ask Susan about what he just said to her.
So Sarah herself already known about George's feelings and wasn't interested...
After some time George approached Sarah and asked her if she had spoken to Susan. She responded, curtly "yes". Then George asked what she thought about what he had said... and Sarah didn't respond, only looking "as cross as she could". George, upset and confused, left the room.
He cryptically pined after her for a while more, and Sarah was encouraged by all round her to secure a formal proposal from him. She was even coached on how to act in front of him. But in reality, she just wasn't all that interested. Eventually, George married Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz, with whom he had a happy and long marriage (and 15 kids, holy shit).
Just a story I always thought was funny. Especially as an American, I was taught about "George the Tyrant" not "George the Socially Awkward Virgin"

If you want a laugh or want to see some weird-ass shit I'd recommend going to Reddit and then go to r/AskReddit and sort by controversial of all time. It's so fucking funny.
This is the top controversial post of that sub:
Tumblr media
WHAT THE FUCK. I'm like 99.9999% sure this story is entirely fake. Like some drunk and/or high college asshole came up with this one night.
But it's just a bunch of people asking a vague question and then giving a bullshit fake-ass story.
Some of it is genuine stuff like “Why do Americans refer to their country as ‘free’?” But for the most part it's just the craziest bullshit.
This might be my favorite though:

Now we don't have time to unpack all of that. But I'll give it a quick shot. So, this guy gets diagnosed with cancer at a young age, very sad yes. Then he grows up gets married more than 10 years later. Then his wife gets cancer and lives for not even two years. Now you may be tempted to think that this is perfectly fine, a little outlandish but believable. Now thankfully he put all those “...”s in there so we know he's sad and grieving. But down in the comments this guy has no idea the mechanics of cancer whatsoever. He, as you read believes he might have given his wife cancer. *Cancer is not contagious.* But then when people ask what cancer she had he tries to tell with “lung” and then she got breast cancer but died of brain cancer... that's not how cancer works my brother in Christ. This motherfucker has no idea how cancer actually works despite having *allegedly* lived with it for *eleven fucking years*. What just confuses me is that he didn't make any other posts. This wasn't like a karma whoring incident. He just made this singular post then fucked right off. He has -83 karma. There is literally no reason for him to lie about this other than the sick satisfaction of fooling people into thinking his imaginary wife died. Yes I said imaginary because there is no way in hell he was actually married. Anyway it's just a goddamn gold mine for dumbass lies.
