So Shiina actually planned that Towa and Setsuna could go farther in the past and meet their adult father and (still) child mother. Given by Shiina's tendency, he would frame Child!Rin and Sesshomaru's moments romantic like he did in the earliest chapters in his manga🤢🤢

Inuyasha loved Kikyo and I think it's unfair to think he should stop loving her.

She is his late-fiance.

And Kikyo loved Inuyasha, and it was that same love which allowed for Kagome to meet Inuyasha. Kikyo's wish to see Inuyasha one more time is the catalyst of the series.

Kikyo was reborn into Kagome, a normal woman in a peaceful time, and from there, it's Kagome's turn to live.

Hating any of these two women doesn't make any sense.

Sorry for the long delay.

I’ve managed to hurt my hand to the point that it hurts after holding a pen for longer than 5 mins. Had to take a break to let my hand heal. I was feeling bad about not finishing up the last of this chapter.

i know this episode is dumb filler but:

and what pisses me off is that we could've had THIS with him and moroha. we could've had him helping her train, taking care of her when she's ill, and just...being the father figure he wished he could've had in his life. there's this repeating theme of him seeing himself in other youkai children and taking care of them, or at least emphasizing with them. he relates. he gets it. he doesn't want them suffering the way he did. and yashahime was like "hm...what if...amazing idea incoming...he didn't get to raise his daughter? lol."

I am currently watching Inuyasha for the first time ever and I'm like at the beginning of season 6. I have had the unfortunate circumstance of learning that sesshomaru ends up with RIN. Granted, it happens in s sequel series that is not cannon but how the fuck can somebody write some type of shit like that???

They made my man a GROOMER. I have seen people call him pedomaru 😭😭😭. They fucked my dude all the way up. On top of that, it sounds like poor Rin has no growth at all. She still refers to him as Lord Sesshomaru. How fucked up is that???

Like, Sesshomaru hopping into that well, coming into the modern world and kicking up kagome's mom wouldve made more sense and been much better than this pedo ass bullshit.

My problem with Yashahime isn't just the fact that SessRin is a thing in it. My problem is also with the depiction of Inuyasha and Kagome's relationship in it.

First off, I believe Inuyasha and Kagome would have been better off as friends. Why? Kagome deserves to be with someone who doesn't make her wonder whether she is who he sees when he looks at her. Inuyasha deserves someone who will not have to wonder about his intentions even when he is being sincere. Both of them deserve a relationship that is not weighed down by a past love reincarnated into the present.

Towards the end of the OG Inuyasha anime and manga, Inuyasha is shown to have done at least some growing up and matured. His relationship with Kagome is also shown to have been better. Although I feel Kagome should have left him (romantically) in episode 48 of the OG series. She should have continued to be friends with him, of course. But should not have been romantically involved with someone who was clearly emotionally unavailable. I feel it was not right to have her always wonder where his loyalties lie. Also, quite insulting, might I add, that he finally focuses on her and sees her only once Kikyo is gone for good (the episode with her death still makes me emotional, it was really well made). Still, things appear to be looking better towards the end of TFA.

Enter Yashahime - and InuKag are back to square one. Square negative, if that's even possible. She is shown to continue using the kotodama beads for no reason whatsoever, whereas they could have depicted that she never uses the subjugation word unless Inuyasha is in mortal peril. Inuyasha is seen to be walking on eggshells around her. And that's just the first time we see them together. Things just get worse after that.

In the manga, in one of the chapters, she is seen telling Inuyasha that despite being married, they haven't had much time to themselves, and that Inuyasha doesn't show her the kind of husbandly affection that she craves. That's just.....sad. In the same chapter, Kagome is shown to support SessRin's relationship. Remember Kagome from the OG series? The same one who was sneering at Miroku for trying to get his hands on an underage Koharu? Y'all really think she's going to be all gushy and encouraging when she sees the same thing with Rin? Lol, as if. Our fiery little priestess would rather fashion a spiritual chastity belt for Lord Fluffy and clobber him unconscious to put it on him.

Whatever maturity Inuyasha gained throughout the OG series is chucked out of the window the moment he is shown (in the anime) to use the kongosoha technique and decimating his house in the process. What in the world?

Inuyasha and Kagome are shown to have been reduced to mere shells of their powerful selves. Putting Inuyasha's Tessaiga attacks aside, Kagome, one of the most powerful priestesses of the time, is shown to have been demoted to a nagging wife and not much else.

I feel like I can spend days writing about all the various ways the infernal pseudo-sequel called Yashahime grates on my nerves, which is why I breathe better pretending it's just another Fanfic on the internet. Still, on some days, I feel better ranting about it. Today was one of those days. Anyway, that's it for today's rant. See ya!

InuYasha was the thing that got me out of so many suicide attempts. It comforted me after many assaults. And the Sunrise decided to be like, "Well! Let's make an un-canon sequel, even though the show ended itself nicely and closed off."

Making one of the VERY BEST characters a pedophile. Are you SERIOUS?!

Imagine my surprise when I learned that Sesshomaru, a 900-something-something-year-old demon, who revived and took in a little 7-year-old girl, ENDS UP MARRYING HER??? AND THEN MAKES HER HAVE KIDS??? THEN LOCKS HER IN A TREE??? AND SHE'S ONLY 18??? SHE LOOKS 13 AT MOST.

He literally adopted her in the original show and manga. She was a little girl. He was an adult man. Even if you put it in human years, if he were 19, SHE'D STILL BE A LITTLE GIRL.

Even when I was five or so I knew that the Sesshrin ship was disgusting.

Because she was a little girl.

Even if they aged her up, that still is filthy since he RAISED HER!!!

HE RAISED HER!! Then Kaede helped raise her as well.

If you were an adult man and met a little girl, raised her, and then she grew up, would you get with her? Impregnate her with twins? Then ignore her entirely?

Among with the shitty animation and storyline, Yashahime is a big fuckin mess. Poor Rumiko. They ruined your beautiful work.

If you enjoy Yashahime, or enjoy Sessrin, you will be blocked you sick animal.

There's no ship which has icked me as much as Sessrin.

Truly. I hate many ships, but Sessrin is its own beast.

The grooming, the romanticization of abuse, the child giving birth to children and then meeting them when they are the same age (14-15 years old).

Making a character I really appreciated into a pedophile.

I loathe that ship and the show that birthed it.
