i know i haven’t been posting about the magnus protocol, like, at all but without spoiling anything about episode 15, i just wanna say that billie hindle did a fantastic job at the end. she’s been doing a great job as alice’s va the whole time! but the post-case section she’s does for episode 15 is so good. same goes for lara sawalha, i was left so unsettled

Okay I have my issues with the writing in Cinderella’s Castle but I strongly disagree with the take that I’ve often heard that first part followed up with, that Jeff Blim is a bad songwriter?? One of the main reasons why I used to avoid Isekai’s, and fantasy works in general, like the plague is because of how over saturated they’d become with things that didn’t feel like they even belonged to the genre to begin with… it’s not too hard to find works that stand out but so much of those works have been pushed down and forgotten, it just sucks.

Almost done watching Mentopolis (partway through episode 6) and the fact that the ice skating interest was called Ichabod hits harder specifically because Headless: A Sleepy Hollow Story has made me aware that Ichabod means ‘absent glory.’ And the entire thing around the ice skating memory is that it was Elias Hodge’s defining ‘failure’ that turned him into the person he is during the main story. So that’s neat.

Honestly considering that season 3 was terrible and that they killed off Qilby (I’m not sure how season 4 is I just got spoiled on a lot and I couldn’t bring myself to finish) as well as some of ToT’s behavior recently I just no longer have any interest in season 5 of Wakfu. Something was lost in translation during the transition from season 2 to season 3 and I don’t think they’re gonna get it back for the last season. Idk though, I guess we’ll see

It feels criminal to me as a gay non binary trans man-this is a mouthful i know-i actually do not mind a lot of straight ships despite how to think I’ve maybe consumed two medias with MLM rep and wasn’t deeply invested in them as I should’ve been despite it being genuine rep and I can’t tell if I’m possibly actually bisexual or it comes down to “I don’t care about the genders, if it’s a dynamic I like I ship it”

But then I also remember all of the straight ships I’ve really like either end up as heavily implied but not actually canon even if they get a happy ending or one of the love interests ends up dead by the end and yknow maybe this is my punishment for being so tolerate of the fictional straights

this is super random but I’m 🥺🥺 incredibly happy with the fact that I’m consistently working on songbird again. like I can’t express how proud I am of this au and everything that’s coming??? I just don’t have the words to do it (ironic for a writer I know LOL). but I genuinely love songbird so much, it’s a ginormous passion project and I love writing it. it’s so fun to work on 🥺 and seeing other people enjoy the au as much as I do is really just like??? icing on the cake for me. I’ve been working on this au for so long and building on it and scraping a good storyline together and it all makes me so !!!!!!! I love songbird so much and I’m incredibly excited for everything that’s coming 🥺
