A little 15 min doodle but first post of the year has to be Bingqiu!

#ok its time to get mushy in the tags because I doubt anyone would read them too closely #I’ve had severe art block for YEARS before I got into danmei in 2024 #and it wasn’t that my skill was gone it’s just that I thought nothing I did was good enough #I started reading danmei around the summer of last year and I got SO INSPIRED #I dived into the fandom side of things (I haven’t been in a live fandom in years) and was so excited about all the art people were making #and writing! and music! and animatics!#everything was so bright and colorful and beautiful #and everyone had such cool designs for these book characters that I’d grown to love #so I took a chance and doodled a little Luo Binghe and posted him on here #and I was so taken aback by how welcoming and sweet the fandom was #it made me wanna keep taking chances and posting my art— because I think that’s one of the hardest things I’ve come to accept #that even if it’s not good enough for me #someone else may enjoy it #and ain’t it crazy that ive come to enjoy drawing again too #sure the interaction has been fun but it’s been even more fun experimenting with my style and experimenting with colors and rendering #and grayscale and angles #and composition and expressions #ahh!! art is so fun!! it is very important to me that dean and cas were NOT sleeping together during gamble and carver eras. S4-5 crazy new chemistry i dont know you/ i’m in awe of you/ i’m terrified of you/ i hate you/i wonder why i want to spend time with you so badly backseat handjobs yes! then 6-10 it’s crickets. no sexual contact whatsoever (which doesn’t mean there’s no pining or attraction.) there’s just too much going on, one problem to solve after another, the new butterflies have been replaced by solid friendship and they never see each other enough. they don’t talk about it, they wonder if the other even remembers. maybe. maybe! there is a kiss or two in s11 but that’s it!!! then BAM! season 12. Immediately domestic boyfriendhusbands keeping a normal sex schedule of several times a week. it’s so routine it’s not exciting which is exciting in and of itself. and they even have sides of the bed.

Things I make for myself when insomnia kicks in

Just a chart about what I wanna change up and keep consistent in my art - I mainly wanna draw Raph with a tail because he deserves one, it fits too well. Donnie gets a long tail too because I didn’t realize how dino-like he looks until I gave him one, and now it’s a must for me haha.

radical conceptussy: dan continues the tradition of tour film dumps. they post ig stories all the time, but film dumps are few and rare, one for every month or so or general area of the tour. think about the wad tour dumps: pictures are a mix of silly fun travels, solo moments before and after shows, and soft pretty moments, captured lovingly by crew and friends. except this time, they’re touring together. this is dan and phil “all grown up”. how open is the door going to be? think about all the devastating moments we’ve experienced in the last few months, but add the fact that phil essentially said they dgaf and he wants to live life to the fullest and not take anything for granted. this tour is going to be sooooo different and life changing for us as phannies y’all I can feel it in my bones. anyways back to the photos I had the clearest vision of the softest most adorable picture of them cuddled up together sleeping on the tour bus chucked into the middle one of those dumps casually because it’s not the craziest thing and I could definitely see them saying fuck it and deciding to share something like that. much to think about
