It’s kind of vague, to be honest; the only thing that’s been concrete from the start in our posts is that younger Vil probably had shorter hair. And then we usually jump straight to the freshman!Vil, and with him I am kind of inconsistent; my earlier comics and drawings of him have him with pretty much the same hairstyle that he has now (w/o his bun and his crown though), but these days I draw him with shorter hair as well. For some reason, I like this better than freshman!Vil having very long hair…

I also like to think that Vil only started braiding his hair during his 3rd year at NRC, to give himself more of a regal matriarch look?? But that’s just an idea I’m playing with in my head. In fact, I think the best way to describe it would be to imagine Vil having all kinds of haircuts throughout the years because there is no way he wouldn’t want to play around with this. But what I think and what I draw are two different things…

It’s just like with Crewel. I want his younger self to experiment with hairstyles a lot, but always end up drawing the same one lol

But yeah, Malleus’ upbringing was very complicated, and he looks very cute when he is still clearly very young, but already has this air of a prince about him. Not to mention all the potential difficulties growing up as a little dragon ahem………… I think I draw him this way pretty often, but I should do it more lol

I also love drawing Vil and Ortho and the Tweels and Azul and Rook; I think those are the ones I draw the most. Oh! Sebek and Silver as well.

We didn’t really care for Grim at first too, but during our rewatch started to appreciate him more, to be honest. He is not all that bad, and he is kind of cute sometimes.

The following post is a little rant about somethings that annoy me a little in the PJO rp scene (some happen in other fandoms too) or that my mind can't wrap around and make it make sense. Its just my opinion and in no form directed to anyone specific or trying to start drama, please don't start drama over silly shit. You've been warned. And i'm sorry in advance for the holy bible of a vent it is lol

✿ Honestly it makes no sense to me the idea that a young teen demigod, would be cabin leader if they don't show major responsibility and leadership skills over an older demigod that is there longer and have more experience. Honestly. And i don't mean that a younger person would not be responsible or could not be a good cabin leader, but they have to fit in the role or at least openly not like to be in it. It just don't make sense someone who basically don't care and it's 15-16 to be apointed leader.

✿ Other thing that bothers me a little is that is hard as fuck to find muses over 17... Like demigods can become adults and still be/stay at camp, honestly I believe this would be quite common for demigods that practically grew up at camp and don't have much experience outside besides missions. Of course I think after they have a serious relationship and plan to have kids that would change but I have a headcannon that someone would start a little village/residential area close to camp, so they can continue living in their comfort zone but with more privacy. Like maybe a place with smaller cabins or a building they'd go home to but once the day starts again, they go back to camp and basically work there.

✿ Also the amount of demigods from the big three. "Hey andy, this is a little hypocritical of you to say. You have demigods of all the big three" yeah, I know. Its just a little weird to see so many and this is just because on my old platform people prefer to keep them to a minimal because of the background of the books and all that.

✿ The last is how sometimes the characters appearance and powers don't seem to match their godly parents. Like, every god have a set of most common skills, traits and powers they pass along to their children, as in, most of their offspring will show them all or a mix of them. While they also have the more rare skills, traits and powers, that are EXCEPTIONS, so a small number of their children will have them. And there are also the things that they don't pass along or are not within their range or being, so it would not make sense that their children would have it. Like for example: poseidon kids will most of the times have green, or blue, eyes and dark hair. Or for Aphrodite's kids that most of the times are either romantic, sensual and/or care a lot about their appearance, also playing with others feelings. These are common traits, of course there are exceptions to every rule, but they should be that... Exceptions. If everyone are different, than are not exceptions anymore. That also includes how some gods don't have children at all for mythology/history reasons, like hera, hebe, artemis and hestia.

Okay those were fandom things that bothered me, but the following are specific roleplay things.

✿ I don't mind at all my partners age as far as interacting go, I don't have a DNI based on age only. But that being said, I wish people would put their age group on their blogs! And I don't mean the exact age, just a "minor" or "adult" or maybe "18+" or "21+" just so I (and others) know how to be respectful and act accordingly. I'll not send adult shit to minors and I would not feel good the other way around too. But it gets hard to do that if I dont know your age. "But andy, you can see the muse age..." Thats not the same! There is minors who have adult muses and adults who have minor muses. Its tricky when it don't need to be.

✿ I feel like a lot of people don't show interest in actually writing or roleplaying, this may be just a personal take, but if you constantly answer with only: "hm", "hi", "good"... Or half a dozen words that don't have any hook or action, thoughts, etc. If feels bad! It feels for me like you don't care or don't want to be there, like I'm the only one trying to write something with a meaning or an idea to keep going. It makes ME feel bad and I then drop the idea of interacting because it feels bad and pointless.

✿ This last point is just something I don't personally understand the appeal but I get that its just personal taste. I don't get the idea of a character blog, like it is still an online blog but as if the person behind it was the character writing on their computer the posts. I personally don't understand it, but thats just about me.

That was it I guess. Again, this is just a rant/vent about things from my end, its not personal or directed towards anyone specifically. Don't start drama! But feel free to comment here about it so we can discuss it, if you want to.

An uncomfortable silence filled the room, thick and heavy with a frustration that seemed to linger like a storm cloud ready to break if provoked enough. Only the distant sound of the world outside and the party downstairs seemed to cut through the quiet, and even that seemed deadened and muffled.

Dallas glared at you from across the room, his hair a tousled mess and his expression stony. His eyes were dark and shadowed, and you could see him biting back another cutting remark, his jaw tense with the effort. You had no doubt that you looked just the same—your chest rising and falling with heavy breaths, your throat raw from the yelling and the screaming, tired of being spoken over. But now you don't have that problem. Not at all. Because it seemed nobody wanted to be the first to break the silence, so you both stood there staring daggers at each other, your hearts slamming against your ribs, your palms sweating profusely despite the cold. 

Fianlly, with an annoyed sigh, you rolled over the face of the wall, turning your back on your boyfriend, deciding its better to ignore him than to play whatever game he's trying to rope you into. The matress springs creak with the movement, protesting vehemently; it's old age shining through, and you have to feel bad for it. 

Dallas clears his throat loudly, trying to draw your attention, trying to get you to snap, to break, to say something that will rile you both back up, but you don't rise to it. You just continue to ignore him.

The fight had been over something stupid; Dallas had made a comment that had grated on your last nerve, and you'd snapped, the argument spiralling from there. And now... well, now you weren't talking. 

You hear the faint sound of him shifiting from behind you, his footsteps sounding on the hardwood, before finally stopping beside you. He stands there for a moment, just watching you, waiting, and you can't bite your tongue any longer.

"Why don't you just leave me alone?" you demand, pushing yourself up onto your forearms and looking at him through narrowed eyes.

His expression is unreadable, his eyes still dark and heavy. "You're in my bed, sweetheart." He says simply, almost as if he’s bored of talking to you. “If anyone should be leaving, it’s definitely not me.” 

Your jaw sets, your anger starting to boil under the surface, and you scoff indigently, facing away from him once more. "Whatever," you mutter, crossing your arms over your chest. "I'm not going anywhere," and you mean it; no matter how annoyed you are with him, you're not moving from the bed, not giving him the satisfaction of winning. 

"Then stop bitching and move over."

You dont protest as he shoves your shoulder lightly, simply shifting just enough to let him flop onto the mattress beside you. It's a routine you're satisfied with by now to even bother a question. After every fight, you'll both just lay together until you're both calm enough to act civil, brushing it under the rug and sometimes even talking about the issue. It's become second nature, something that is significantly better than walking away and never looking back. No matter how angry or upset you both are, it's better to go to sleep knowing the person you're lying next to isn't going anywhere, and while he'd never say it, you know Dallas likes you too much to even consider walking out on you.

A few minutes tick by, still agonisingly quiet; however, the tension has slowly started to bleed away, replaced with something that almost feels akin to regret for your heated words. Dallas' arm slowly snakes around your waist, and your fingers naturally find their way into his blonde locks, stroking absentmindedly while you both try to think of something to say. He shifts slightly, leaning further into your body, and you feel the soft weight of his head on your shoulder—an action you know he'd deny vehemently if you ever bought it up.

"I don't think you're a bitch," he murmurs after a few moments, so quietly you'd miss his words if not for the fact you're lying to close together. "It came out wrong." 

His tone doesn't give anything away though, making it impossible to tell whether he actually meant what he said or was just saying it for effect. Your lips twitch upwards at the thought; you lean your head back against the wall, closing your eyes, and feel the weight of the world slip away with the soft breeze blowing through the open window. "Thanks," you hesitate for a few seconds before adding. "I still think you're a jerk." 

He snorts. "Maybe, but you love me anyways." 

And suddenly you can't help but laugh—a genuine, free chuckle that spills from your mouth before you even realise it. 

You smile wryly at him. "Sure, I do 

Dallas' hand moves to your waist and gently squeezes, pulling you closer to him. "I'll take it," he hums, his voice a low purr of pleasure and affection, and for the briefest of moments, you're happy just being held like this, safe and secure. All traces of your earlier spat are gone, and it's almost as though it never happened, but you know it did, and so does Dallas,  and neither of you wants to bring it up because you'd rather enjoy it in silence than risk making it worse.

not the op but i think ford's gold association comes from the six-finger hand symbol icon including on the cover of his journals, the gold statue he has of bill, being turned into gold by hill. there's also something to be analyzed about the yellow and orange outfits he wore when younger that don't show up after he meets bill iirc, and considering the wheatfield in his mindscape full of incomplete milestone projects embodying failed prosperity and how wheat has often been depicted in gold. i think most of ford's gold stuff is with association to bill or bill's absence, which can play into the whole ford manipulated/manipulatable gold thing. it's not the strongest or most apparent motif in the world or anything but i see where op's coming from! i don't think bill being like the origin or cause of much of it prevents ford from still having the association. also the tiny gold dots on his glasses frames which are very important /joking

Could you explain your position on Shallura? Since Allura was established as a teenager when she started dating Lance and Shiro was very clearly an adult. I can understand the bi shiro headcannon but the shallura thing worries me

i am going to remind yall that i have been in this fandom since 2016. and in the early seasons, allura was not established as a teenager. in fact she was coded as older, as closer to shiro's age -- there was a specific divide between her and the younger paladins that she did not have with shiro. they made her younger (both explicitly and in mannerisms) as the show went on. and i do not give a fuck about voltron like...post s4 and i didn't even watch s7-8. so like. especially with older fics, im going to enjoy shallura.

sorry to be a bit of a hater but i do wish youtubers weren't so scared of making their videos just like, "reviews", whys everything gotta be a "video essay" all the time. every day my recommendations are filled with 40 minute videos titled "_____: An Underrated Masterpiece" where the first like five minutes are reading the wikipedia definition of "masterpiece" in a somber voice with dramatic themed text on screen. please just tell me how good or bad you think something is and use the rest of the runtime to explain why. you dont need to put on all these airs
