#FINALLY FINISHED THIS WOHOO #Okay so #I have been keeping this small part of info secret for SOOOO long and it was so funny that JUST this week I got a ton of asks about #Wingdings' voice and I was SO tempted to talk about this little detail #BTW I DIDN'T FULLY MAKE THIS UP #i mean #Yeah I did #BUT IT IS BASED ON SOMETHING I NOTICED!!!!!!#When redacted talks in Wingdings the sound is clean #but when we listen to entry 17 (which is most likely a recording)#There's a VERY loud overlay of garbage noise #And so I was like #I could use this.........#like yeah a sound based on symbols?? we can't understand it! but our brains might do the work for us and maybe try to understand it?#but recording it goes very bad.....#I thought it was fun so I made it a hc for Gaster #and then I applied it here :D #lol #I think the pacing of this one is also a bit too fast but ehh #I hope it's clear #I am so proud of how I drew Alphys in these pages I feel like I am finally understanding her shape and how I want to stylize her #Sans is very good at reading people #He can tell when people are lying #that's why Wingdings didn't lie! he just conveniently forgot to tell him some details about what they found #okay yeah that's enough #TIME FOR THE TAGS #undertale #forgettable-au #forgettable-au-comic #sans

#band of brothers #bobedit #hbo war #hbowaredit #ron speirs #ronald speirs #idk how people tag him lol #kbsd.amv #kbsd.hbow #ok director's commentary:#another amv that's been finished and sitting in my drafts for a month bc it was waiting to be posted after a deadline lmao #this was my entry for our server's monthly fanwork challenge with the prompt myth/legend (h/t kira)#obv my mind immediately went to speirs #i LOVE warren zevon so when i was brainstorming this video and trying to think of what music to use #and what feeling i wanted to evoke i knew it HAD to be him and well. thompson gunner? come on…#truly could only be more perfect if speirs’ name was roland not ronald hahaha #anyway. i was less concerned with following the /exact/ narrative of this song #and more with using its central character—a legendary‚ immortal gunner driven by endless war—#as a vehicle for the sound bites i wanted to weave about speirs’ mythic status in easy company #(i even downloaded a karaoke version so i could drop some lyrics out to make room for dialogue lol)#i also wanted to highlight how the fear surrounding the rumors slowly shifts to respect #i really tried to capture a specific rhythm and feeling with this one #and i'm SO so proud of how it turned out <3 #i was going to make a companion video to a different zevon song that kind of dismantled the legend?#and showed the more human/scared side of speirs #but i didn't quite have the footage i needed i'm going to fold it into a larger gen video idea i have...we'll see #ANYWAY. waow 2024 is almost dead!!! gone too soon. feels like it’s been a big year for me art-wise for many reasons, BUT. i’m making 2025 bigger.... hopefully....i’ve made some art goals for next year which i won’t explain in detail but they boil down to 1) do more studies 2) tackle my weaknesses (backgrounds, dynamic poses/angles, uhhh lots of stuff i am a one trick pony right now) 3) get into drawing comics, all of which are in preparation for 4) take my story ideas more seriously and get started on one of the many graphic novels living in my head. i have one in mind i HAVE to complete in my lifetime or i will die, but firstly i’m gonna mess around with some little standalone svanhildr comics perhaps. goat fans rejoice.
