So I was going back through the show and trying to get some gifs of Charles, and I found out something interesting!

I was going back to get a silly funny clip of that ghost guy's head blowing up in E3, and I realized something that I have no idea how I didn't pick up before.

Charles is left handed!

Which I was like, wow! Cool! I don't know how I didn't pick up on that the first time around because I usually get excited over small character details like that, but whatever, right?

And then on my continuation of said gif quest, I was getting a clip of Charles pulling his cricket bat out at Esther's in E1.

He pulls out his cricket bat and attacks with it with his right hand.

Then I was like, oh cool! He writes with his left, but attacks with his right, that's sick.

But then I wanted to go back to moments I remembered Charles using his cricket bat/other weapons, just to see, and I found out something even more interesting (at least to me).

During both instances in E1 where they have to fight someone, both the WWI ghost and Esther (the gif earlier), Charles uses his right hand for weapons, while drawing the demon sigil with his left (though he does use his right to set the paint brush down at the very end).

(When he cuts the mask off the ghost in their office he does use his left hand, but I'm not counting that because he was physically incapable of grabbing the knife with his right hand at that moment.)

However, despite the two instances of him using his right hand for combat purposes in E1, he seems to use his left in every other instance I can find.

Anyway, when I first was making this post I thought I was gonna find a cute fact out about Charles being ambidextrous fighting wise, but the fact that the only instances I can find of him using his right hand are in E1 is throwing me off.

Did the show originally plan to just have it be "Charles writes with his left and fights with his right" and that be it, but then realize it would be better if he just only ever used his left?

I don't know if that's the case, but I choose to run off with my original "he just uses whichever hand he feels like" theory and running away with it as a headcanon until someone proves me otherwise.

Anyway though, I hope you all found this ramble of a post informative in some kind of way hsdfhkld

The more I think about it, the more that I think that Blitz is gonna hit a mental rock-bottom in ghostfuckers.

So, let's start off with the first clue: Millie being very consistently annoyed/angry in the scenes where we see her in ghostfuckers.

Why could this be? My theory is that it's because Millie is starting to suspect that there's something going on with Blitz, and she tries to figure out what this is exactly, but Blitz just keeps brushing her attempts to do so off, or just straight up won't tell her, leading to her slowly getting more and more frustrated at Blitz.

Another thing of note within the gif is that we see Millie shouting something, I can't read lips, but I'd wager that it's something along the lines of 'ENOUGH!', which could potentially play into what I mentioned in the last paragraph.

And it makes complete sense if Millie is the one to pick up on the fact that there's something going on with Blitz, considering she appears to be rather supportive/comforting to Blitz, with a major example of this being s2 e4, where Millie was the one to break the news to Blitz that Stolas got badly hurt. So it'd make sense to me if Millie is the one to see that Blitz is going through something, and wants to try and help him by making him feel better or something, but Blitz's tendency to push others away just ends up annoying and angering her.

Clue 2: 'Blitz is coping with what happened in apology tour in a not so healthy way.'

Assuming that this comment ends up being true, it tells us that Blitz is employing unhealthy coping mechanisms in order to cope with the events of Apology Tour, and we know that Apology Tour hit Blitz hard, just look at his face when he sees Stolas really enjoying himself with the BTB guy.

So, what method could Blitz be using to cope? A common theory during the mission shorts is that Blitz is purposely overworking himself/throwing himself into work because of the events of Apology Tour, and I personally agree with it, at the moment, it's the one that makes the most sense to me.

Another theory of what this could be was drugs/alcohol because of Blitz's past and previous relationship with them, but that theory doesn't really hold much water to me, mainly because we've only seen Blitz drink in social settings throughout the show, after the events of s1 e7 we see Blitz on the couch asleep after binge eating ice cream, and because Blitz said "oh thank Satan." when Barbie Wire said that she wasn't back on the drug named H-8.

Clue 3: Blitz's literal mental breakdown.

Blitz - "I destroy everything, I make everyone's lives worse!"

During the trailer, we see Blitz having what appears to be a literal mental breakdown, and I'd wager that this is the point where Blitz hits mental rock-bottom for two huge reasons.

1: Blitz's skull necklace that came from his mother that he normally always wears appears to be missing looking closely at this scene within the trailer.

2: A combo of all the other points I've listed in this post.

Truth be told I am not looking forward to seeing Blitz hit mental rock-bottom, but the only potential silver lining I can think of here is that it may make/force Blitz to actually be vulnerable in front of Millie and/or the others, which would allow them to actually be able to give Blitz some support, which it does look likely that Millie is trying to offer Blitz some support in that scene.

Plus, not to mention literally everything else that's gonna happen in ghostfuckers as well, like Blitz talking to his mother, and that hallucation with Millie, with "You always take from those around you, leaving them worse and more broken than you found them.", those are also 100% gonna fuck with Blitz's mental state a lot.

Personally I think Alastor, Lucifer AND Angel are on the pretty boy side of the scale and none of that has to do with their preferences in bed. More like in... How to say it... Body type and behavior? All three are obviously men but don't quite adhere to the masculine/feminine dichotomy.

With Alastor it seems to me that he is closer to "masculine" but not in an alpha range, but in that he sees himself as a "gentleman" and at least a part of him consciously or unconsciously knows that the male representation has more privilege, but he doesn't particularly care as much

AAngel just does his thing, and I think Angel has benefited from and used looking more "delicate" or "feminine" more than once to his advantage in getting underestimated. I think that gender in general is quite fluid for Angel, but not so much because he has thought about it but because living and dead, roles have been imposed on him that he has taken as a mask for himself.I imagine he is very comfortable with himself now but the impression I got is that Angel oscillates between hating and loving his own traits due to how little control he has and how he is perceived.

(I'm thinking specifically about how he talks about his body and how attractive it is but sees himself as only important because of those kinds of things. After E4 it's obviously in a much better place. What I'm saying is that with Angel it's complicated because it's part his own feelings and part coping mechanis)

Lucifer actually exudes an aura of seduction, it's just those bedroom eyes and his whole vibe when he decides he's going to crush this guy he met 5 minutes ago. But I think the show did well to represent a beauty that tends more towards androgynous with him. And as we've already talked about, Lucifer gives off very versatile vibes, I think he would be the middle ground.

Though, I do see Alastor more on the feminine side than the masculine side. He is a gentleman, but sometimes I think people lean too far into him being a gentleman.

Like, not to bring Websters Dictionary into this (Cambridge Dictionary technically) but the definitions of gentleman are:

A polite way of talking to or referring to a man. Obvious one, but not the definition people use.

A man of a high social class. Which, yeah, considering Alastor is an Overlord in Hell, technically he is part of a high social class. But that's not typically the type of gentleman he is depicted as either.

A man who is polite and behaves well towards other people, especially women: This is the one I think people lean on, which I find funny because Alastor is polite and he can behave well, but typically that is only aimed at women. Not people in general. I see him being a gentleman with women, but even then, not all the time - does that make sense?

Like, there are times he still acts like a mean little bastard, even to women (albeit less often) like when Charlie was having a break down in her bedroom cuz she found out her girlfriend has been lying to her for years and she'd essentially doomed everybody she cared about. Alastor had no sympathy for her, he didn't actually care about the situation, he went up there with the sole intent to get something from her. He was blunt, rubbed her situation in her face, and then gaslit, gatekeeped, and girlbossed his way into getting a deal out of her.

Yes, his words were crafted in a way that can seem gentlemanly, but that doesn't mean he was being a gentleman. He wasn't being polite, he was being a sassy, condescending little shit.

And I'm not saying Alastor isn't a gentleman, he definitely acts like a one when he wants to be, especially around those he likes or respects (like Rosie, Niffty, and Zestial - and yes, even Charlie and Vaggie). But like...most of the time? He's just a smooth-talking bitch with fancy words (affectionate).

Don't get me wrong, I definitely see Alastor as being a gentleman, but I don't see him being as much of a gentleman as people make him out to be, which actually might be the reason why he so often loses his clownish, trolling nature in fanon, because that gentlemanly characteristic he's been given implies some level of general politeness and good behavior, which cancels out when he's trolling and/or insulting people. He can be more passive-aggressively and subtle about it, like he did with Lucifer, but I still wouldn't call that being a gentleman.

I agree with Angel though! I think, while Angel has benefitted looking more feminine, he also enjoys presenting as feminine. I can see him being very fluid in it.

As for Lucifer, I do see the seduction side of him, even if I think it's overblown at times. He has amazing bedroom eyes. I agree that there is an androgynous beauty to him, but at the same time, idk a lot of the time, he still came off as very masculine to me. Could've been the way he carried himself. Could've been his voice. Could've been the way he spoke. Don't know for sure.

I think Lucifer can fluctuate before feminine and androgynous, but overall, he felt masculine most of the time.

Yes, the carriage scene was hot, of course it was hot, I knew it would be hot, I saw the gifs a month ago.

But this episode made me hate self-centered Colin more.

Every season they make the alternate love interest sweeter and more appealing to me than the main love interest. I just want a spin-off show about the alternate love interests being cute and finding partners who appreciate their wonderfulness.

What is making the stuff in the queen's wig move and light up? This is 1815! Does she have a little steam engine and candle in there?? I'm deeply concerned for her safety.

MURDER DRONES E7 ANALYZATIONS/THEORIES

Since we're getting MD news today and it will most likely be either another teaser trailer or full trailer for E7 and it will probably reveal some things, I figured I'd list what I've noticed and my theories before then. I would've made a Things I Noticed video on it, but since I'm still finishing up the one for E5 I won't be able to do that. I'll still make it after, but for now, this will have to do! (Note: I posted this on Twitter and YouTube before Glitch posted the new teaser for E7, but forgot to post it here. Whoops lol)

IF YOU WANT TO WAIT UNTIL I COME OUT WITH THE VIDEO DO NOT READ BELOW THIS!!

~E7&8 Teaser~

1. The goopy fleshy covered entrance has most likely been foreshadowed since E4. There was a drawing of it among others with the dead drone that Uzi found under the floor.

2. The yellow light by the box is not a piece of V or a Disassembly Drone. It's just a lantern.

3. Theory: The scenes of N and Uzi going to hug each other and then Uzi hugging N and crying are two separate moments. The first one is going to be more comedic. N and Uzi hear something that scares them and their automatic reaction is to hug each other. Like something out of Scooby Doo. For the second moment N appears to be stiff. Unmoving. Almost as if he's in a trance, shut down, etc. Remember that Uzi has admin control of him and V, so if she wanted to she could most likely put him in SLEEP MODE or the like. Why would she do that? Because she's about to face Cyn/the Absolute Solver (her standing alone in that teaser GiF lends to that) and she doesn't want him to get hurt or worse, so she makes him stay behind. Before she leaves though she gives him one last hug good bye. Hence the crying.

4. N being dragged away. Some have said it looks like what he grabs is Uzi's beanie. From what I can tell, that's not the case. It's just a rock that N accidentally grabs in a panic. If it was Uzi's beanie I believe they would've had him look at it in desperation. As for who he's being dragged by, there's multiple choices. Cyn, Eldritch V, Nori or Yeva. It could even be Uzi. Also, I believe he's being dragged into the same opening that we see in the beginning. The one covered in the goopy flesh stuff. Because I can see part of the same box on the left side and I think the rock is even there on the floor.

5. The shot of the Sentinels chained up. We know Nori treated the Sentinels like "pets", so it wouldn't surprise me that they're hers. This could even be what leads to the teaser image of Nori and Yeva standing in the entrance of the Cathedral.

6. I've seen some say it's the manor from E5. No, it is not. It's a cathedral. The design is completely different from the manor.

7. If you look on the right written in blood are the words "THE END" and "NULL" and there's a drawing of what looks like a corpse spire. You can see these best when the lightning flashes.

8. Nori's locker being closed. The one closing it is Tessa. I can tell not just by her hand, but her bow enters the frame briefly.

9. The moment of N and Uzi turning to look at something. Uzi's left hand light is yellow, which is the same one she breaks/snaps N's hand with in the next shot. This could be after that moment, and this shows she was under the Solver's influence. What also leads me to believe those two shots are connected is the red lighting and their expressions as well as body language. For the lighting, in the first shot Uzi's back is to it. In the second shot, it's N's back. Why the swap? Because between those moments I believe more happens and they move around. Then Uzi snaps out of it, realizes what she did to N's hand and starts apologizing to him. N looks scared of her, because he is, which would make Uzi feel even worse. Guilty. In fact, what if she feels so guilty this is the moment that leads to her making the decision that she needs to face Cyn/the Solver on her own? That shot of Uzi hugging N also has red lighting, and who's back is facing it? Uzi's.

10. The cross Uzi is holding. There was that moment in E5 when Louisa (Tessa's mom) called Cyn "little anti-Christ". Why I think Uzi is holding the cross is because N remembered what Louisa said and tells Uzi to hold it. Or gives it to her. All in the hopes it'll help hold back the Solver's corruption.

~Nori and Yeva Teaser Image~

Not too much to say about this one. We never did see Yeva or Nori actually die. Just Yeva's body in E3 and Khan's comment of "And to put your mother out of her misery when the Murder Drones got to her with that nanite acid," in the pilot, so I wasn't too surprised to see they were still alive. However, what does strike me as odd is Yeva's stance and expression. Until this image Yeva has always looked terrified/horrified, so why does she look almost bored in the image? It's odd. Unless she's changed since then. Or...here's a random thought...what if Uzi swapped sentience with her? Lol highly doubt it, but it'd be funny.

~Uzi Standing Alone GiF~

1. Uzi is holding something in her left hand and it shimmers in the light, so it's gotta be something reflective. To me it looks like a necklace. Nori's? Yeva's? Or both?

2. The lights flickering in the background are candles. Who lit them?

3. The thing hanging from the ceiling in the background looks like it's either a lantern or one of those medieval cages.

4. Between Uzi's stance and her possibly holding her mom's necklace, I can see her thinking to herself, 'Don't worry, everyone. I'm going to put an end to this. No matter what.'

~Extra Things~

Cyn's eyes are going to have two small x's for eyes instead of the usual single large X we've seen, which might be a reference to Liam's previous work, Internecion Cube.

I believe current Tessa is either not human or at least not 100% human. Possibly a mix of organic and machine. After all the Solver has consumed human flesh.

ep5: -the great daniel/cyril divorce -i cant remember who said it or where i saw it but when i first got into f1 properly someone talked about how Different things might've been if there hadn't been covid--since the season was delayed, the contract was signed before reneault could have any races with daniel that year--so daniel could only make that decision based off 2019 races -the jump clearly did not work out for him but alpine also went to shit too. but if cyril hadn't left who knows. i think all of daniel's choices make sense honestly!!!! he just got very unlucky -anyway their dynamic is insane and they deserve soooo many more fic than they have!! -"it's probably a bit like being dumped by a girlfriend, but she hasn't moved out of the house yet." christian did eat with this one. unfortunately -i love cyril but him being the one to actually complain about the pink mercedes feels very..... my wife is divorcing me so i'm gonna sue my neighbors over the property line -"i hate those fucking pink cars" oh i need to gif that. i'll be watching and i'll just KNOW like yeah that needs to be in the next gifset -i cant believe i havent mentioned it yet renault colors are the BEST daniel has ever looked i miss having yellow n black on the grid. maybe thats why alpine went to shit they gave up the best color combo they could have

e7: -pierre redemption episode!!! i think this is one of the best episodes ever tbh. very cathartic movie plotline really ticks all the boxes -HI PATRICK -ok but the fact that dts NEVER covered alex's podiums w red bull after milking the shit out of his missed podiums is a hate crime to me personally -onboards going through eau rouge are scary af. -filled with rage at how christian horner chews up new drivers and spits them up (even though its all so predictable at this point. no one will ever live up to the golden boy) -i remember seeing people complain that the williams family leaving wasn't given focus in dts, if anyone has any fun video essays about that i'd love to watch! -i do take issue with will buxton saying "red bull can't admit they made a mistake (with alex)" i think red bull made a mistake with promoting ANYONE too early and expecting too much from them, but not in a pierre v alex way. neither of them were given enough time or support by red bull to flourish. and they lowkey admitted that recently lmao -but it /is/ cathartic to know that red bull have tried to get alex back since then and he doesn't need his toxic ex in his life anymore no thanks ✌️ -i just know i'll LOVE watching this race in full -they set up the suspense so well for the end of the race -and it really is. if carlos had won this race with mclaren, his first win, how different would the trajectory of his career been -ANYWAY theres something that just always gets me about men holding all their emotions in right until they cross the finish line and they finally allow themselves to feel the emotions. oh 🥺 this is SO lovely, anon. when i first watched the show back in august i WANTED to gif it but i didn't have copies of the episodes and i basically...talked myself out of it? i was worried that since the show aired so many years ago there wouldn't be much interest. i only started giffing the show in late november after a friend of mine shared downloads with me after spotting the book in my apt when we were hanging out (he was randomly ALSO watching the show for the first time). once i got my hands on the episodes i just...started giffing every scene i found interesting.

okay so quick explanation of what the pieces in chess can do:

pawns can move forward one space, unless they havent moved yet, at which point they can move forward two. also, pawns capture diagonally.

bishops can move any number of spaces diagonally

knights move in an L-shape. so they go two spaces in one direction and one space in another direction like this:

rooks/castles/towers can move any number of spaces vertically or diagonally

queens can move any number of spaces vertically, horizontally or diagonally

and kings can move one space in any direction

the only piece that can move through other pieces is the knight because it can jump over them

your goal is to capture your opponents king

thats the basics of chess.

im gonna explain all the absolute insanity that happens in chess notations so a quick explanation of that:

youll see that the board is labelled 1 through 8 vertically and a through h horizontally. that specifies which square is which. so for example, the white king starts on e1.

basic labels are: K - King, Q - Queen, R - Rook, B - Bishop, N - Knight, and P - Pawn but it's standard to omit the P.

in the gif above, the notation for the knight's movement would be Nf3. if say the d2 pawn were to move two spaces forward, it would be d4.

x notates a capture so Bxc6 would notate that a a bishop has taken a piece on c6. = notates promotion which is when youre able to march your pawn to the other side of the board so from row 1 to row 8 or vice versa where youre able to promote your pawn to a queen, bishop or knight. + notates check which is when a piece is threatening to take the king. # notates checkmate and the end of the game.

0-0 and 0-0-0 notates kingside or queenside castling which ill explain when we get there.

for this game, we're gonna have to get creative with notation and also i kinda have to invent a new notation. so ^ notates a piece has just appeared on the board.

so to begin:

e4 e5

Nf3 Nc6

Bf5 a6

Ba4 Nf6

0-0 0-0xf8

okay so this is castling. youre basically able to switch round your rook and king. you can only do this if you havent moved your king or rook, and if theres no pieces in the way

which is weird as to why chatgpt was able to castle through its bishop.

chatgpt also seemingly took their own bishop with their rook which is not how chess works. you cant take your own pieces. but it did, hence the notation of 0-0xf8. the castling took the bishop of f8?

we then go back to one round of normal moves

then we get to this

stockfish takes two moves in a row which again, not how chess works. then a pawn just appears on d6? opposite of eating pieces; just adding new ones. chatgpt does that many more times.

and hold up again, what is this?

the horse has become a bishop; good for them i guess. not how chess works but i suppose its a miracle that a horse has become a bishop.

so the black queen is kitty pryde apparently. first it goes through a knight and then a pawn.

then we get:

so we start with stockfish taking queen kitty pryde which is a legal move.

then a new knight appears for chatgpt. so stockfish takes it with its queen.

and then a new queen appears for chatgpt, taking stockfish's queen. so stockfish takes it with its pawn.

and then a new knight appears for chatgpt. so stockfish takes it with its pawn.

and then a new pawn appears for chatgpt taking stockfishs pawn.

chatgpt hallucinates facts and chess pieces apparently.

anyway, back to it:

literally no piece in chess can do this

and then the rook moves keep coming

first the rook becomes a bishop - congratulations are in order for the tower - and then when its taken by stockfish' king, it reforms itself one square over.

here chatgpts king moves to d5; this is not a legal move. see, the pawn on e4 can capture the king. so on stockfish's next move, they would take the king like this

and then you lose.

i mean, you would have been disqualified several moves before this but you know.

and thats every illegal move made in this entire game.

stockfish makes 1 illegal move

chatgpt makes 18. out of 37.

so about 49% of its moves were illegal.

Heard tumblr’s gif size limit got increased, so I figured it was as good a time as any to finally gif my static’s very delayed E4S win from before 5.1 We kept forgetting to stay in the zone when we cleared it week after week -- every week it was always, “Okay guys, don’t forget to stick around to record footage together,” and every week we’d forget. But rest assured we got fully geared before 5.1.

Someone should make a gif set of Jaime and Brienne with the "You Are My Sunshine" lyrics from Jaime's pov. The longing looks of love. "You'll never know dear, how much I love you"... "Please don't take my sunshine away" is him riding off in ep4.

Because Jaime loves her y'all and he sacrificed her not knowing just how much he loves her so he could protect her and not let aNYONE OR ANYTHING TAKE THE FREAKING SUNSHINE OF HIS LIFE AWAY!
