I think the most difficult thing about this whole situation is knowing that 95% of my coworkers definitely voted Republican.

These are people I talk to daily. I make jokes with them, hold conversations, ask about their day. I know they like me as a coworker, but that wasn't enough. They looked at me and decided that my rights don't matter, and now I have to keep engaging with them knowing that. I have to keep working with them knowing how much hatred is truly in their hearts, and that I and so many others are no longer safe from it.
