Roughly 24 hours of progress on my project for this year's Desert Bus Craftalong so far, out of an estimated 180 hours. So we've got a ways to go yet, but I think this moon came out pretty well.

As is tradition, I'm not telling what the subject is, but that silhouette might look a little familiar...

Also, if anyone needs a reminder, today (May 27) is the last day of the Craftalong submission period, so if you're thinking of submitting a craft idea for this year, get it in before midnight PDT!

(Yes, I started this before submissions even open, because if I didn't, I'd never have enough time to finish by the deadline. Cross stitch takes a lot of time! Also I procrastinate working on the pattern a lot.)

Went to swatch for a Hanukkah present before realizing the needles I needed were held up in this Doily 14 (Yarn | Pattern). That's been this close to being finished for a good three weeks now.

It does give me more time to think about what exactly I want to do for this gift but ughhhh I have to Count to 9. Over and Over again. Crochet chain bind offs look so good and are really stretchy for lace but my brain hates them with a passion.
