ok warning: this is going to be long, so feel free to skip it but i had to get this thought down: i am constantly thinking about being sarahs best friend and being into rafe. i mean, lets be real, if you friends with sarah, of course youd have a little crush on her hot, older brother. your probably a kook, your parents are friends with the camerons, so youve know sarah and rafe since you were a kid. you and sarah immediately hit it off, but rafe was always sort of a mystery to you, especially as you got older. he became more distant, more broody, a bit more mean. didnt show up as much to family dinners, didnt want to play dolls or games in the pool with you and sarah. you were a little sad, especially since you had a little crush on him, but it was ok, at least it wasnt sarah that was drifting away. as you got older, you saw less and less of rafe, just passing greetings and nods in each other directions. you remained a little biased towards him, saving a little soft spot in your heart for your childhood crush, but knew it was silly and useless. you basically went no contact when he went off to college, only seeing him at events and holidays. but, when the summer before your senior year approached, everything shifted. im not sure when he started thinking of you differently, when he stopped seeing you as sarahs annoying little friend. maybe when he saw how much you grew in a matter of months when he came back home for the camerons famous christmas party, his freshman year at college. he didnt know what it was, maybe all the wine he had drinken that night, maybe how the weather had gotten cold, maybe the suffocating air filled with obnoxious rich people, but the way that white, lacy dress hugged your curves, the way that fluffy little cardigan hung on my one button on you chest, he was obsessed. he was disappointed to overhear that you had gotten yourself a boyfriend, but not surprised with the way you had matured. when he went back for his second semester, you were constantly on his mind. seriously, when had you grown up so much? i mean, you had never been ugly, but shit. he thought of how you shouldent be wasting time with stupid high school boys, how they would most certainly not treat you right, not like he could. he knew they wouldnt be able to touch you he could, to make you scream like he could. he honestly felt a little perverted for thinking that way, given that you two practically grew up together, but he couldn't help it. he tried burying himself in mindless sorority girls to forget his newfound infatuation, but he definitely couldn't. in fact, i bet he imagined those girls were you, even accidentally calling them your name sometimes. so when ward offered that he could come home for the summer, rafe said yes with no hesitation. it was practically too easy, the way you walked around the house in a little bikini. all he had to do was give you a little look, his eyes glancing up and down with his trademark smirk, and he had you right where he wanted. you felt bad at first, since you were doing it behind sarahs back, but come on, were you really going to give up the opportunity with the guys whos always owned your heart? of course not, you told yourself. sarah would just have to understand, not that you would tell her anytime soon of course. but she was bound to find out, espcially with the way you and rafe were slowly getting less and less inconspicuous with your sneaking around. i mean, come on, fucking in the hot tub on the patio during his parents infamous 4th of july party is definelty not the way to go unheard of. and trust me, theres a lot more where that came from.

ok toby younger brother family trauma issues lonely grew up isolated etc. ben only child got killed by neighbor for absurd vr theory now inhabits a virus-ghost-form that he partially shares with several other dead kids.

toby and ben wouldnt have gotten along before ben died. only because ben was just. a 13 yr old boy addicted to video games ... those kids r mean, and toby was heavily bullied in his childhood. the ONLY reason bens not a huge dick anymore is bc his 'form' itself is fucked up (he glitches, he has an electronic vocal fry and occasional stutter from glitches, he has a weird glow to him, sickly drowned boy skin, veins look like those green code lines, red/black eyes, HE'S LITERALLY DRESSED LIKE LINK). bens not exactly insecure about any of this, but he knows damn well he cannot make fun of a tic without toby shooting back 10x harder.

which ok yeah kinda sad that ben has to look weird for him to not be mean but .. . like . . yeah. it is what it is.

they met mmm... maybe when toby was around 21? jeff would be 16, and ben wouldve been 14. SOOO toby doesnt really TRY to befriend ben. he's too old for him and has no interest in being besties w some kid. but he has a job to stop ben from tormenting people online and drawing attention to weird ghost sites and whatnot, so he started talking to all sorts of ai- cleverbot being the main, of course.

of all the proxies, tobys the only one ben likes. tobys a dick, but he has his moments where he's funny and gets distracted during a mission, so he's sat and rambled and bickered with the ai on slow nights. ben immediately knew everything about toby, because he has access to every single file on tobys computer, phone, etc.

ben SCARED THE SHIT out of toby upon their first meeting. he crawled out of tobys janky ass computer one day and toby nearly threw up from being so freaked out. yeah, he's killed people and whatever, BUT GHOSTS R FUCKING SCARY (and he has .trauma with ghosts and hallucinations of them (lyra)). ben already knew exactly who toby worked for, what toby was doing, and thought it was beyond funny. ben was the first being who already knew all the slenderman lore because he spends literally. every. second. on the internet. he is basically the internet. and he watches them, listens through their phones, watches, etc. he doesnt know the details perfectly tho cuz technology gets weird around slednerman/the operator. so toby thought that was helpful, in a sense.

so pretty quickly ben was fond of toby. thought he was like, that cool older brother of your friend. the main issue was the proxies at this time were trying to find and kill jeff because he was infected by the operator and slenderman deemed him 'too far gone.'

ben was actually the one who proposed the whole 'okay. so you want me to stop terrorizing kids online. fair. now ive noticed you keep trying to kill my friend(jeff). stop that and we can be cool :3'.

eventually they all came to some weird agreement where. ben will stop haunting people, the proxies will stop trying to kill jeff, jeff has to stop doing his 'full course' murders, and eventually, ben just likes them enough to start helping them with cctv, police files, etc. it was a complicated agreement that eventually ended in friendship, sort of?

they play video games together. eventually toby does see him as a little brother. it's kinda unsettling because the proxies realize just how much power ben has when it comes to just...... leaking everything. toby thinks that 'ok well, if ben leaks stuff about us, we leak stuff about jeff, and now he has no friends and is lonely, so he can't.' but tim and brian are legitimately freaked out at the thought of their lives being ruined anymore than they already are, so theyre pretty courteous to ben

ben will really just hang around. toby can just be eating breakfast and ben will pop up and ask whats up. he's annoying and clingy, and he can tell toby is biting his tongue half the time. . but toby is grateful sometimes. bens laid back and funny, and toby could use some laughs, so its a decent time for them both

again, overall, toby is just kinda too old for ben(although ben wouldve been a year older than toby if he was alive), but ben is really funny, he's nice to toby, he plays video games with him, he comes and checks in on him randomly. so toby appreciates having a freaky ghost little brother thing hanging around. bens one of his fave people (which is only saying so much when the other people he talks to are like . . jeff)

OK so my personal HC if I had to think about it, not going to lie, I've never really thought about the distant future for them all, but this ask got me thinking, so here it is:

MC ended up with Sebastian, they married and have two children, twin boy and girl just like Sebastian and Anne, named Arthur and Ophelia, MC leads a quiet happy life, raising her children, and teaching them about the importance of morals in magic, wanting them to be good people and a good wizard and witch. Sebastian is on board with this, because he doesn't want his children to end up with secrets like him (their kids have no idea about what happend all those years ago, and Sebastian swears they never will) MC also remains a quiet keeper of ancient magic, and wonders when and if her children will share her abilities.

Sebastian ends up working for the Department of Mysteries for the Ministry of Magic, as a side hobby he looks out for ancient dark artifacts, and takes a keen interest in anyone talking about mysterious things for him to go and investigate, he has no intentions of using any of his collection though, it just grew to be something he was really interested in. But days at home and spent showering MC and his children in love and care, he often wonders how he got so lucky.

Ominis is the god father of MC and Sebastians children, and spends alot of time with them and adores them, he never married, not due to a lack of suitors though! He was just never interested in anyone who showed interest in him, but he's happy. He has a Great Dane called Aurelius who is his pride and joy. Ominis ended up as the Defence Against The Dark Arts professor at Hogwarts (such a predictable HC I know 🤣) He wouldnt admit it, due to how petty it sounds, but part of him decided to take on that role purely out of spite to his family. And although they don't speak, he hopes they know what he does as a profession, and he hopes its a kick in the teeth to them.

“hey!!” someone exclaimed, running towards hanni. hanni looked the direction of the voice and saw her best friend lia. her and lia had been best friends for over 10 years and were pretty much always together. “hey!” hanni replied, walking towards lia. “did you study for the biology test last night? cause i didnt.. im gonna flunk this fuckin class again..” lia looked up at hanni with a helpless look. “i studied, you shouldve came over. we couldve studied together.” hanni said, looking down at her. “maybe next time.” hanni and lia both nodded, walking off to class. 

in math class, hanni’s eyebrows furrowed as she tried working on her classwork. despite studying a lot, there was occasionally questions that tripped her up. thats when she heard a whisper beside her, wonyoung. “having trouble with your worksheet?” she said with a teasing smirk. 

despite wonyoung not being the best at school, math was surprisingly not that hard for her, and she really liked to remind hanni about it. “no, im fine.” hanni retorted. she looked back at her paper slightly annoyed. after 45 minutes of pure boredom and almost falling asleep 3 times, class was over and hanni ran to lunch. at lunch, she sat with lia per usual.

“history class is such a bore, i cant get through one class without wanting to jump out the window.” lia said, she was clearly pretty tired. “yeah, i hear you. math is so boring. but its the only class i need to raise my grade up to a 95 to get valedictorian, so i need to do good.” hanni sighed. hanni and lia were eating their food peacefully when wonyoung walked past them, tipping over their phone that was against lia’s water bottle.

“phones arent allowed in the cafeteria, hanni.” wonyoung looked down at them amused. “dont you have anything better to do than talk to us?” hanni looked at lia. “other than makeout with her boyfriend, no.” lia and hanni giggled and wonyoung stood there, her face still. “at least i have a boyfriend.” “at least i have a life.” hanni responded. “oh sure, you totally have a life. studying and playing video games is a life.” hanni looked up at her slightly offended. “it is, excuse you.” “whatever, bye.” wonyoung rolled her eyes and walked off. lia and hanni sighed, continuing to watch their show.

after school, hanni and lia were at a cafe when someone walked in, anton. he was from a different school but hanni knew him through her brother. she looked up at him and her eyes widened, quicklg looking away. she had a crush on anton ever since they were kids, and he was even more handsome as they grew up. lia gasped and giggles. “ooooo, look who walked in.” hanni quickly tried to shut lia up so anton wouldnt hear, and luckily he didnt. but he did notice hanni from afar. 

after he grabbed his coffee, he walked over to hanni. “hey hanni, long time no see.” he spoke with a slight smile on his face. “h-hey anton. yeah, its been a while, how have you been?” hanni looks up at him curiously. “ive been good. you?” hanni nods and lets out a soft ‘mhm’. anton spoke up again. “hey, are you going to wonyoungs party next week?” “u-uhm..” hanni looks quickly at lia, and lia nods. “yeah! yes i am.” “nice, ill see you there.” anton walks away with a wave. “bye.” hanni reciprocated the small ‘bye’ and looked at lia. “i didnt know there was a party at her house! whyd you tell me to say yes?” lia looked at her and chuckled. “you had the choice! its not my fault i didnt know either!” hanni groaned and threw her head on to her arms on the table.

NOELLE AND KRIS

okay so. i think i've mentioned this in other posts before, but the whole event that starts off everyone finding out dess and kris arent actually dead is that kris dives into a dark world! theyre trying to close a dark world like dess does, because they think that maybe!! that way!! dess will come back and be proud of them and love them and then she wont leave so much! because kris can close dark worlds too, see? now they can go with her!

they tell this to frisk, swear frisk to secrecy, and then! vanish lol they're Gone. the way dark worlds work here also isnt fully solid but im treating them sort of like mystery dungeons in pmd, so they dont fully follow the laws of like, physics and the like which means that even tho where kris lives is Very Far from hometown, noelle, susie, and ralsei are still able to get to the same dark world from hometown!

do not ask me what this dark world is like. i have No Idea. probably somewhat inspired by kris's life but i have not gone so far as to plot it out lol. the important part is that susie and ralsei split off from noelle (like in cyber city) and so noelle ends up running into kris, who has not only gotten lost but is in WAY over their head lol, so she saves them and kris begrudgingly agrees to stick with her. they totally couldve done this on their own. theyre sticking with noelle for her own safety. and noelle is just like yeah sure lol.

while traveling through the dark world together, noelle and kris have no idea who the other is! not only do they not really remember each other (noelle has a few vague memories, kris was even younger when dess took them so they dont remember anything at all), but they've both grown up a lot and in kris's case are fully presenting as a monster. they bond a bit over both being deer-monsters!

they cant fully communicate, tho...kris would be nonverbal throughout this entire trip and since noelle never grew up with kris she doesnt know monster sign language. she might remember a few words from her childhood but not enough to understand kris and even if she did she is a stranger so kris wouldnt sign OR speak to her anyways lol. but they do help each other out and close the dark world together! they come out in hometown and noelle promises to help kris find their parent cause they did Not mean to come here lol, and that is when! she checks her phone and shes gotten a text from toriel about a missing kid, and she's like....hey so uh i think your parent might actually be at my house lol wanna come by.

(while kris was stuck in the dark world, frisk got Very Worried and did eventually spill everything to chara, and thats how chara and frisk end up in hometown desperately trying to find kris! they come across toriel who helps them out and thats why they're at the holiday-dreemurr house).

and so things are all fun and fine until noelle and kris get back to noelle's house, and go inside, and kris is reunited with chara, and when that happens toriel sees this child and is like. holy shit. is that my dead kid.

and the fic would end there lol! (in my head this is a series, so, it would span multiple fics) another fun thing is this is the moment where noelle learns kris's name--so it wont really be a surprise for the audience cause i feel like most people could catch on that this is kris (remember up til this point we only follow noelle and the hometown crew, so we think dess and kris are dead), but if you didnt...

NOELLE AND DESS

honestly i dont know how noelle would react... i feel like she wouldnt have as big a response as everyone else! to her dess is less a person and more like, the story she's told as to why she cant do all the same things her peers do, why her mom + stepmom are so overprotective, why asriel stayed behind instead of going to college...dess loves noelle but noelle is like literally who are you. so when dess tries to like, bond with noelle, noelle doesnt want this...she grew up without a sister and that bond isnt going to form again! she doesnt know who this woman is!

its. very hard for dess needless to say. and for kris who sees how much dess is investing in noelle and theyre just like. okay well why was she never like that with me. which then leads to tensions between noelle and kris, which pushes kris to make some Very Bad Choices, and and and. plot <3

RALSEI AND SUSIE

actually the relationship ive thought about the least if im being honest. but i was talking about them to you last night and i think that like...there IS a level of antagonism that doesnt exist in deltarune canon. ralsei is trying to hard to stick to the prophecy, and when susie in this story's version of chapter one ignores it to be a villain with lancer, that hits A LOT HARDER in a world where from the very start the prophecy is being broken (since its two monsters who fall lol)

plus ralsei is also dealing with a lot of feelings shes never felt before--jealously, envy, not being able to just ignore her dysphoria anymore...shes a lot more aware of her crush on noelle and so noelle having a crush on susie isnt helping...

LIKE THEY ARE FRIENDS i think ralsei feels a LOT of guilt about all of this, and when its just her and susie things are good! they make sense!!! susie makes her wanna BE things wanna feel like maybe these things she feels are okay...but then everything always comes crashing down and its. bad again.

1. holiday headcanon

DISCLAIMER: YMMV -> the carry on fandom is chill as hell and nobody has ever given me any shit for liking the mage, but im always worried about it anyway, so. small reminder that fictional characters are fictional, and im just some guy having fun! n e way, the headcanon. ive vaguely mentioned her before, but i have an orig character i headcanon as davy's cousin, named corianne cadwallader. even though theyre cousins, she and davy have more of a brother-sister thing going on 'cause they grew up together, davy was pretty much raised by his aunt. (he has other cousins, too, but he and cory are closest in age + she's the only one who can kinda stand him.) and for the record: davy's mother and father were decent enough, kinda on the absent side, maybe, but if you asked him he prolly wouldnt have anything bad to say about them. wouldnt really have anything to say about them, really. so yeah, he lived mostly with his aunt (father's brother's wife) and his cousins. his family wasnt poor, but it wasnt wealthy, either, and it was one of those households with so many people in it that keeping up with necessities spread the income pretty thin at times. when hols and birthdays rolled around, gifts were nice but small, yk? skip forward. davy makes it into watford, the very first in his family to ever have enough power to make it past the trials. i wish canon told us more about the old watford admittance test, but im going off the assumption here that kids take the test at least a year before they plan to attend, if not two or three years, somewhere between 8 and 10. so, the winter before he leaves for school, cory gets this nice leather-bound pocket journal for christmas. she told her mum that's what she wanted, but after she opens it, she immediately turns around and gives it to davy. cory asked for the journal to give it to him. as a going-away present, since he got into the fancy magic school. (davy and cory fall out of regular contact with each other after davy leaves watford with lucy and well, everything.) (but he never gets a new journal.) (when the pages run out, he replaces them.) does that count as a holiday headcanon?

the fact that fnaf after everything with its creator still has adult fans and is getting new merch, games, and other things made for it is wild to me. regardless of how you feel about death of the author or whatever, the new fnaf content that is being made is getting less and less coherent plot wise and the gameplay is getting repetitive. From an objective standpoint i think that the first fnaf game was never meant to be what the series became. As someone who has a general knowledge of how games are made, especially when it comes to narrative driven games, it was clearly meant to simply be a gameplay focused horror game with a little story thrown in to give some cool backstory and add some mystery, and then maybe there'd be a few more games in the series that expand on the mechanics and elaborate on the story a bit but its pretty reasonable to assume that the story of the game was meant to be mostly up for interpretation and that as a series, it wouldnt be too long. Unfortunately though, it ended up gaining fame and people reading more into it which definitely contributed to the series being what it is now (and also yknow.. money is another reason.) It sort of ended up having a certain Supernatural (tm) effect where it kept getting worse but people still watched it which i guess answers my question of why people still like it (because people arent willing to let things they like go even if theyre bad) but that is an unfulfilling answer to me and theres definitely a more fulfilling one

so im wondering now.. are people (not counting kids for a reason) who still like fnaf holding onto the series because they liked the concept (of animatronics, a sprawling mystery, and other things) and have never found or heard of other things that share those same concepts? Or is it really just simply holding onto things that are nostalgic to them? Im genuinely curious because i have been into things that just got bad because they went for too long or tried to do convoluted things with the story that i just moved on from. I still remember when i was younger i watched supernatural with my sibling, and did really enjoy it, we got pretty late in the show before my sibling told me they thought it was getting worse and didnt want to watch it anymore. Of course as a kid who didn't really even know how to tell if a form of entertainment was bad, i was a little upset and didnt understand why but agreed anyway. And so we stopped watching supernatural and watched other things together like steven universe that we ended up liking way more. Occasionally there would be tv show or anime that just ended up sucking and from then on we just stopped watching it and watched something else.

I think the reason i fully stopped liking fnaf was partly that i recognized the content i was watching for it (like lets plays or theory videos) were getting worse and i also just grew out of it? As the years went on i got into other games like half life or portal that had way more fulfilling stories to me that i enjoyed a lot more so fnaf just became something i didnt care about. fnaf is like the cracker barrel of video games to me, i went there as a kid because other people liked it so i was supposed to also like it and mostly really liked it because it was restaurant food and to a kid thats better than anything you get at home (and also they have little toys), and then one day when i was older and had gone to more different places i sat down, ate my food, and thought "wow this is bad actually," and never ate there again. And all of that is to say i really do wonder if the majority of adult fans of fnaf still like it because its one of the few games theyve engaged with in their life, and that if they were to expand their palette, try new things, and look back on their interests, then theyd be able to more easily accept its (and its creators) problems and move on from it as purely a thing of their past. because i promise you, there are better things out there, not everything is cracker barrel or supernatural, theres genres youve never even heard of, games that no one knows about waiting to be played, theres the sprawling mysteries of Outer Wilds, the gut wrenching horror of Devotion, the captivating characters of Psychonauts, the expansive world building of Half Life, there are so many better things out there made by better people. Letting go of something doesnt hurt as much when you have more things to enjoy. There are better things out there, you just have to stop looking in the same place.

The two happily had breakfast on the patio, some patches of snow had escaped onto the patio floor and railing but that was it. It was nice to say the less. Rex shivering at the sight of Y/n's bare feet, how he could be cold?

The two finished there breakfast with a light conversation and smile, the two sipping hot caff and tea, the steam vanishing up into the air.

"I say we go to one of those forest first." Rex commented.

"Hm? You sure?" Y/n questioned, "you didn't wanna do anything first?"

Rex shook his head no lightly, "I just want to spend time with you."

Y/n smiled his hand reaching over the table and holding Rex's.

"Is there anything you wanna do? Still never told me baby." Y/n protested.

Rex chuckled, Y/n's fingers interlacing with Rex's.

"Maybe go into town?" Rex spoke.

Y/n nodded, "we can do whatever you want babe."

Rex smiled only grew, "anything?"

"Okay, within reason." Y/n protested with a chuckle.

"Within reason for you is not within normal reason." Rex argued playfully as Y/n shrugged.

"Okay within. Our reasons." Y/n corrected.

Y/n pulled the cup away from his lips, swallowing his tea as he looked at Rex who held hope in his eyes, Y/n could tell how much he had hoped for the idea of a family to come true, but he was also worried, not only for Y/n's rejection, but also worried for the idea he wouldnt be a good father.

"That would be nice one day." Y/n responded, "to have a family."

"Really?" Rex questioned, "Do you think. I'd be a good father?"

"Yes," y/n answered truthfully, "it'll be a bit rough at first for both of us, a baby is a big responsibility-"

"No." Rex spoke confusing Y/n, "Well. I mean. If we're adopting, I, I want to adopt a Teen first, if uh..you agree to it..."

"A teen?" Y/n questioned, Rex nodding.

"I know with the war alot of kids were left parentless, and I feel like a lot of teens, could. Use direction, get off the streets. I um. Looked into it." Rex spoke.

Y/n smiled as Rex started to ramble, all the reasons why it would be a good idea to adopt an older kid, it was cute, how much Rex wanted to be a dad.

"Rex," y/n intruppted him causing him to stop, "i'd love to adopt a child with you, no matter the age."

"Ah. Really?" Rex questioned Y/n nodding.

"We'll need space, we'll be adopting more than one."

"Really?" Rex asked his voice raising in excitement, "how uh, how many?"

"Mhm. Well we are adopting, with that anti aging serum in development for the clones, You're what? In your early twenties year wise, we could adopt at least three or four kids-"

"Six!"

"Six?" Y/n questioned, a large family did sound nice, "mhm. We'll need quiet a bit of space-"

"A farm house!"

"A farm house does sound nice," y/n smiled, "I love the idea of a big family, it sounds like a good idea. Perhaps we'll start out slow? No rush right?"

Rex nodded standing up he leaned over the table, capturing Y/n in a happy kiss. Y/n chuckled into the kiss, kissing back happily. It then hit Y/n, he was married to this man, the love of his life, and he could spend as much time as he wanted to with him, the two forever joined by rings.

They pulled away as Y/n stiffled a laugh, "your so cute when you get excited."

Rex smiled as Y/n stood up, there faces still close together as they both leaned over the table, "you know its kind of hot when you get all excited like that."

Rex flushed, "You have to wait."

"For what?" Y/n pouted.

"For, later."

Y/n raised an eyeborw, "yeah? Whats happening later?"

"That's on a need-to-know basis," rex spoke pressing a kiss to Y/n's lips, "and you don't need to know."

Y/n watched him pull away completely, walking away from him.

"Hey," y/n complained as Rex walked away, Y/n following quick behind, "come on baby."

"Nope." Rex spoke.

"Please?"

"No."

Y/n grabbed his arm turning him around playfully and bring him into his chest.

"Come on." Y/n pouted.

Rex chuckled, "it'll ruin the surprise."

"Just tell me and I'll act surprised later." Y/n argued in a playful tone.

"No," Rex laughed, Y/n's hands at the small of his back.

"Come on?"

Rex shook his head as Y/n sighed, "you win,"

"Victory kiss?"

Rex happily let Y/n kiss him, hands lowering themselves to Rex's rear, causing Rex to gasp into the kiss due to Y/n grabbing his behind roughly. Y/n backed him up, Rex's hands intangled in Y/n's hair, and when Rex fell back onto the bed, he brought Y/n with him. Rex pushed Y/n to the bed, shocking the male as Rex sat on his lap, pulling away from the kiss.

"Later."

"Aw man."

Rex laughed leaning down and kissing Y/n once more, short and sweetly, "I could kiss you all day though."

"I'd like that-"

"But we're not going to sit in the hotel room all day, becoming busy with each other."

"And why not?"

"Because. I want to go into town and you wanted to go see the flowers." Rex protested as Y/n sighed.

"Take me away then Captain, take me away to horny jail."

Rex laughed as he stood up off Y/n's lap, "come on."

Y/n smiled getting up as he followed Rex, the two leaving the hotel room hand in hand. Like children with there first crush they giggled as they ran down the hall together and too the stairs, having to much energy to be waiting for an elevator. They rushed down the stairs together, fourteen flights to be exact and when they made it to the front lobby Y/n waved to the receptionist as they said have a good time as the two were off.

Hand in hand fingers intertwined and arms linked they smiled, they walked from sheltered cover into the snow, following the roads into town, as they did they made small conversation.

"So whats the first place on out list?" Y/n questioned as they set there first steps into town.

"To get you some shoes."

Y/n chuckled, "Im quiet alright dear."

"You sure your not cold?" Rex questioned Y/n nodding.

"Come on where do you wanna go first?" Y/n spoke.

Rex shrugged, "My plan was just to get here."

Y/n softlt laughed once again, "Perhaps we'll just wander?"

Rex nodded, they starting there stroll through town. Y/n was pleasent with his gaze forward but Rex took an occasional glance around.

"Smells good,"

"You seriously can't be hungry." Rex spoke.

"A jedi is never full." Y/n smiled, "but do I smell a tonics shop close by, perhaps we'll pass it soon."

Rex nodded as they contuined on, his attention being pulled to a bright shop, the brightest on the street. The shops window and door shapped in mardle with some gold streaks.

And as they got closer he realized the large candy on the shops window, he stopped walking causing Y/n to stop.

"You wanna go in?" Y/n questioned.

"No, no its okay!" Rex spoke.

"Come on. I know you want to." Y/n chuckled taking the leading steps towards the door, a large glass pane surronded by red trip.

Y/n opened the door as the golden bell at top rang.

"Welcome in!" A girl called.

Rex shook his head no, "come on rex it's fine. It's just a candy shop."

Rex shook his head no once again causing Y/n to frown, what had happened?

Y/n walked out with a wave to the woman in thanks as he held Rex's shoulders, "baby? Whats wrong?"

"I." Rex spoke, "I just. Changed my mind."

Y/n frowned, looking around to a bench, he found one and took a seat helping Rex down as well.

"Tell me babe." Y/n spoke, "what's wrong?"

"Lets. Lets just go to your tonic shop? Please?" Rex spoke holding Y/n's hands, "I. I just. Please."

Y/n frowned, "yeah. If thats what you want to do?"

Rex nodded, Y/n taking Rex's hand and going to find a person to ask, Rex stayed quiet, Y/n finding a vendor and asking. They were directed in the right direction as Y/n led the way. The shop was made of dark oak wood, yet had a similar build to the candy shop, everything darker and cooler in color.

Y/n opended the door as Rex walked in close behind, Rex much more comfortable in the soft lighting against the dark wood, a few bottles glowing a fireplace across the way behind the counter.

"Welcome in sirs." A man spoke, a book on a stand as he was tying some flowers in a bundle, "what can I help you fine gentlemen with today?"

"Browsing is all, thank you." Y/n smiled.

"Well Im here if any of you need it."

Y/n nodded as him and Rex started to browse, Rex found himself in a much more comfortable space, the bright lights and colors of the candy shop a bit much for him to handle even though the store was eye catching.

"Whats this?" Rex spoke picking up a small corked bottle.

"Bella Donna, deadly nighshade." Y/n spoke, "posion."

"Oh."

Rex put the bottle back, "why sell posion?"

"Well its posion all alone, it was really popular amongst dancers and performers at a time as well, makes you look. Fuller, and eyes bigger." Y/n responded looking through the viles, picking up some.

"Your not gonna posion me are you?" Rex joked.

"I wouldnt dream of it baby." Y/n spoke kissing his lips and contuining on and towards the desk.

"Got Everything?" The man asked Y/n nodding.

"Yes thank you very much." Y/n smiled as the man started to ring things up, looking at the small bottles.

"Hah, someones going to have a good time," he spoke with a chuckle, "I remember smelling this for the first time, you need buck wheat for these three dont you?"

Y/n nodded.

Rex looking over Y/n's five corked bottles.

"What does it make?"

"A supposed love potion." The man chuckled.

"Love potion?" Rex questioned, "is that how we fell in love?"

Y/n chuckled, "no. It's no an actual love potion, just what its called, it helps with any sickness, I like to keeo it on me at all times but forgot I had to use the last of it."

"Why call it a love potion?" Rex questioned.

"Because the very ill would fall in love with there caretaker as they were given medicanr everyday, just a folktale." Y/n smiled.

"The smell is quiet, potent though." The man behind the counter laughed wrapping the bundle of buck wheat up "always a good laugh to see a junior potinooer smell it, there faces are hilarious."

Y/n smiled, and nodded to Rex who nodded in return, his eyes going to the many viles and things within the shelves.

"And for these other two?"

"Citrus leaves please."

The man nodded wrapping up everything up nicely.

"Is that all?"

Y/n turned his head seeing Rex looking around curiously, "Rex, did you want anything?"

Rex turned his head and shook it no.

"Thats all."

Y/n paid for the items and pocketed them on his small belt pouch, Y/n waving goodbye and Rex and Y/n leaving hand in hand.

"You wanna go anywhere?" Y/n questioned.

Rex shook his head no, "not in particular."

Y/n nodded, "was the candy store too bright for you?"

Rex nodded his gaze falling onto the floor, "yeah. Just. A bit."

Y/n frowned, "Im sorry I tried pushing you in."

"No. Its okay. Really!" Rex protested, "just, you'd think i'd be able to handle a candy store bright lights,"

"Rex there's no shame in it. I get it." Y/n responded, "I do. I really do. And Im sorry for pushing you."

Rex nodded, "I love you."

Y/n smiled, "I love you too."

Rex smiled smally, Y/n planting a kisss on his head.

"Can. We maybe just try it again a different day? Going into that shop." Rex responded.

SPECIFICALLY the weird webby and lena moments -- Lena calling team magic sisters and Webby snapping at Lena for her strong reaction to getting her string on the board cut -- mean absolutely nothing to me. i simply reject them. i dont know where they came from. Lena and Webby havent called each other sisters since their first episode together. It feels...unlike Webby to snub a Lena apology like that.  

And then they didnt really....interact again much, after that, right? unless im forgetting. there was a lot to be mad about.

and I guess, like. Here’s the thing. aside from some really powerful moments in season 2, the romantic subtext surrounding webby and lena was EXTREMELY dialed back. we had Lena’s hyper-powered jealous freak out in friendship hates magic and...what Ive always counted as an indirect kiss in nightmare on killmotor hill, but there were no more leslie-knopisms. Far less of Webby waxing poetic about lena’s virtues. Adding Violet meant less shared capital-L Looks or hugs or hand holds. So By the time season 2 wrapped up and a lot of that stuff wasnt as apparent, and they never bothered mentioning Lena ONCE before she came back, it became kind of clear that this was not a thing that was happening any more.

Then we got Penny’s “outing” which was not at all an outing. And seeing that penny not wanting to date earth men was a “compromise” that needed to be “fought for” really nailed that coffin shut for me. If we couldn’t get an openly wlw totally original tertiary character, we weren’t going to get it from Webby.

I dont know if they got unhappy executive notes about season 1 or if there was someone around championing the relationship early in production who left to work on other things, or if they just decided it wasnt important, but any hope held out for it after late season 2 was just me being delusional. I wanted to believe, I really did.

maybe I was delusional all along. Had my shipping goggles on. I dont know. I mean, it happens. it wouldnt be the first time and it wont be the last. 

I just really, REALLY wanted it, you know?

we couldnt have gotten like...one last ...something? Something just for them, to harken back to the energy they had in season 1?

i havent written in a long time because i dont really have any stories left to tell, but I do brainstorm many projects with PCS. while I, and especially he, have often taken canon reveals in stride (when he first started writing Longest Shadows, we did not yet know about Violet. He was able to add her in fairly seamlessly, i think) I dont think we’ll be paying attention to any of this, ESPECIALLY some shit about Webby being Scrooge’s clone. (dumb dumb stupid dumb) I mean, you can ask him about it, but I know we’ve already shared some choice words, lol. Even if I operate under the assumption that the clone thing is and has been true all along, I’ll simply be working in a universe where it never came to light.

i can’t believe we would take this story about found family and make it about genetics in the 11th hour. what the holy fucking fuck is this nonsense. ugh.

I dont want to say I cant believe i wasted the last 5 years of my life on ducktales, because I didnt. It meant a lot to me. I had a lot of fun, i met some really awesome people, and in particular one person I can count among my very best friends in the whole world. so it wasnt a waste. And im not going to go on one of these weird tirades against frank where I try to hold him accountable for my emotional damages or whatever because Im an adult and not delusional. Thats the story he wanted to tell, for some reason I will never understand. We’re going to keep writing and daydreaming our own. And maybe, if Im lucky, I’ll live long enough to see the next reboot headed by some queer kid who grew up seeing themself in little baby gay webby vanderquack and makes it canon. N...not that we need another reboot. But i would watch that one. Just saying.

OOOH OKAY. HM. idk what the big broad headcanons are so im mostly gonna use my own

so ive talked about this before, but i think santana and puck were definitely childhood friends and grew up in the same neighborhood. santana always alludes to lima heights adjacent, and when i imagine that, i think of a place like where i used to live where everybody lives in houses with white siding and concrete front steps and rickety screen doors and a/c window units with the occasional walk up apartment building. thats immediately what i think of. and i think she grew up with her dad and her mother in her life, but since her dad wasnt at her wedding, i would say that something happened to him between s3 and 6, probably divorce for messy reasons or something to that effect. so she knows her dad and grew up with him, but theyre probably not that close anymore.

in terms of career, i love what old dogs, new tricks did in making her a publicist. thats so ridiculously apt it fits her character so well!!!! of course shes great at cultivating an image, she did it to survive in high school and she was good at it. and shes ruthless, which is exactly what you need in a publicist/manager.

future family i honestly wouldnt jump to thinking she would have kids. like maybe she would want them? but i would more assume she'd rather be the double income lesbian wine aunts with brittany and spoil all her friends' kids rotten and teach them swear words. obviously she loves these kids to bits but i cant see her having kids of her own, nor do i think brittany would necessarily want them either

her dads a DENTIST! that means that miss thing is probably fairly well off and lives in a nice house thats big enough for her and her parents and brother (and then eventually quinn). she had no qualms about inviting quinn so i assume its big enough to accommodate them all, clean, and well decorated. she also seems like the type to have a pool or hot tub and she would invite all her friends over as often as possible. personally i also think that she and kurt would love to bake together

in terms of career shes gonna be a big recording artist. no more to it. shes gonna be the fuckin princess of r&b and pop and everyone will love her to bits. its what she deserves! and i think oftentimes when one of her friends films a movie she'd contribute a song to the soundtrack

future family.... oooooooooohh nooo thats so cute :(((( what u said abt young eden is so true omgg. they r also def the type of kid that brings stray cats n dogs 2 their home. so evrytime the orphanage carataker hears a meowing or barking inside they r like "gdi eden not AGAIN!!" but it wouldnt stop them lol. they r the type that r immune to scolding. after finishing wth being scolded theyll go back 2 do exactly what they r told not 2 do. oh n also they enjoy rough playing. so on top of being covered in dirt or mud, theyll always have bruises n scratches from getting into fights or just from falling or running around. also they have a habit of like, suddenly disappearing (maybe 2 the forest which makes them hard 2 track).

and lol ye i saw it, it made me go hmmm, a true missed opportunity. eden wouldnt let the chance pass. im manifesting a future update where we could give them oral spiderman style 🙏

Ooooo boy Eden and Bailey's past is something I often think about.

Okay so I think they are about the same age (late 20s to early 40s) and that they grew up in the orphanage together.

I think Eden was there since very young/birth, but Bailey came later.

Eden not having sole primary care takers fucked up their socialising skills and they felt more comfortable on their own (read:fear of abandonment).

Bailey I think came from a really abusive impoverished home, and thats what made them obsessed with money. They have a weird vendetta against their birth parents to be 'better' than them.

Eden had a stray dog they cared for, but one day when they were running through the forest, a wolf got at it. Hence their 'non of these would survive in the wild' line at the pet store, and their obvious interest in puppy play.

After that, Eden started to shut off even more, being aggressive with the other kids, until Bailey started hanging out with them.

Bailey was angry to be in an orphanage and could see that Eden obviously wasn't happy, so they sort of gravitated towards each other.

Bailey was also the only other kid that didn't cry when Eden hit them.

They're the only two people that know each other's birthdays, besides anyone who looks at their very real legal documents.

As they hit puberty and start growing, they get competitive. Both are rather controlling, so they make a ton of bets against each other. One of them being who can lose their virginity the fastest.

Eden is rather blunt at asking, scaring a lot of the potential partners off, while Bailey is smoother about it and of course wins the bet.

Some fellow orphans start going missing, making everyone uneasy.

This is also when they start noticing the rampant sexual assualt in town, travelling as two most of the time so they can fight people off easier, if needs be.

Terrible at school. Eden was great at English, decent at history, but good luck making them show up half of the time. Eden had a talent for art, however, particularly carvings.

Bailey was there to socialise and steal lunch money, but they had okay grades.

If this is set in England, they would have gone to a secondary school with a sixth form. This means ages 11-18 as students, and I hc that when they were in year 7 (1st year of secondary) Leighton was in sixth form (years 12 and 13). They did not get along for the brief time they would meet in the halls.

I also think Eden would have dropped out in year 11, at age 16, and probably had an apprenticeship with a woodworking company (explains making the coat rack and love seat).

Bailey starts getting into more and more criminal activities, dragging Eden into them too, until a local crime boss notices them. The boss takes Bailey under their wing, thinking Eden won't be right for the job.

Instead they ask Eden to get a job at the police station and help them get further footholds there, that's how Eden has all of those collars (inspired by that one anon), and possibly their rifle. Alternatively, Eden leaves for the military and comes back later.

It works, and they end up covering a lot of their tracks. It's probably around this point that Landry does a few smaller jobs around the place and starts hearing about the Boss' new protégé.

They both have money now, for the first time in there lives, and this is when their differences start to show.

Bailey wants more and more, where as Eden wants to be comfortable.

Bailey fits into the mobster life fairly easily, but instead of the drugs that a lot of the others peddle, Bailey specialises in extortion and blackmail.

They slowly end up getting quite a few powerful figures under their control, and when the boss dies and Bailey ends up in charge of the money? They buy the orphanage.

I think Bailey might have cared for the orphans at one point, in their own ways, but their greed got the better of them.

Working under the mob and the corrupt police has Eden start to hate and fear the town. The only place they felt safer was the forest - which was full of deadly animals. But Eden could protect themselves now.

Being tall and muscular means that Eden is often sent to intimidate or even physically hurt people, often times getting hurt as well. Not to mention when arresting people, some are rather adverse to going to jail and take stabs at them.

If I go with Eden joining the military, they come home hoping to have a familiar setting calm their nerves, but it doesn't. Working for Bailey to earn money also doesn't help, one job having them break into the police station and setting fire to their files (that's another way Eden could find the collars, think of their old dog, and take them in nostalgia).

Eden cracks when they're asked to kill someone off, only to realise its a kid. That's too far.

They go to Bailey and tell them they're done. They need an out, they're fucking miserable, barely sleeping, constantly anxious, and Bailey tries to convince them to stay at first, before realising that they could lose their best friend once and for all if they force them to stay.

So they start planning together what Eden should do, and eventually come up with the cabin. Bailey has Quinn/their predecessor in their pocket by this point, so some cash and threats have some builders help make it, including running water.

When in town, Eden supplies Bailey with animal furs for custom coats. Bailey gets Eden new books, cans of food, more bullets. And if you miss your payment, Bailey eventually gifts Eden with a spouse.

Eden gets angry if they 'rescue' you from Bailey cause its a reminder of the past they try to avoid, and they take it out on you. Of the fear they had as a young orphan of disappearing, something Bailey is now enforcing on more orphans. They take it out on you because violence has always been a way they've coped.

Occasionally, maybe on one of those birthdays, they sit at the lake and drink some whiskey together. They don't talk about their feelings, they're both too stunted for that. But it's comforting knowing each other is still alive and well.

Oh I am so into the whole karl is a time traveler and dream is immortal thing. 

I mean the possibilities are endless. where would you start? how did karl become a time traveler? why is he fucking with time? like c’mon this is a basic time travel rule. logically, the only reason why karl would be time traveling all over the place, risking his identity and ya know time itself, would be to prevent or ensure something entirely catastrophic. what could that catastrophic event be? 

ive seen this pretty cool headcanon (saw the post from @rainbowtransform) floating around: the death of corpse, cornelius’ romantic partner, and robin, his adopted son, spurred dreams attraction to violence and cruelty and his eventual takeover of the smp (from the canon game of salem you can see dream is just a regular villager up until his “death”) after he respawned. karl was the gamemaster and had great influence over the outcome of the village meetings, (maybe even more so than we think), and ensured the murders of robin and corpse because, he wanted cornelius to become dream. now, you must be wondering, miss shat why the fuck would karl want and ensure the death of cornelius’ family in order to create a villain arc? easy, he is from a different timeline. a corrupt one.

after the death of cornelius’ family, all that was left, was a village of murderers. and obviously one village wouldnt be enough so they go over to the next village and the next and the next. and who do you think is around watching, waiting patiently to strike. oh look its dream setting traps, slaughtering, manipulating, anything, to get revenge. my family is dead because of those people. Im the good guy right? Im only doing whats lawful and right and serving justice. Until its just not enough, because no one is good and no one deserves to live, not when my family is dead because of people like them. lets just say the village murderers werent the only ones killed during dreams initial reign of terror. but eventually, dream does it, leaving a bloody trail he finally gets to sit on the throne and make sure no one else can do what was done to him. but more importantly, he gets to start over.

so thats what happened in the current timeline and eventually led to the current events of the smp, but what wouldve happened if karl was not involved and corpse and robin survived the murders (ill explain in a sec, carry on). the villagers would have won and the murderers, killed. cornelius corpse and robin would live a happy peaceful life on the smp; theyd watch as robin grew up and eventually left to make his mark on the world. corpse and corn would grow old together and die together never having left their tiny village, because why would they need to? they had each other. so whats so bad about that? isnt that good, wouldnt karl be happy his brother from another timeline got to live his best life with the love of his life and watch as his son grew up happy and loved?

because when dream eventually dies, with corpse right by his side of course, and respawns he wont have any malicious ambitions. hes content with his past life and works to stay true to the peaceful life he led with his lover and son. and so he meets george and sapnap and they become quick friends, and maybe he even sees certain similarities in george to someone he cared very deeply about, and they build the community house together. they enjoy their lives together farming, building, having fun! then tommy joins. and guess what, nothing happens. dream doesnt have any power. he may be immortal but he has no reason to have any ill intentions or violent compulsions. so when this silly little kid with a big personality and a lot of confusing goals comes wandering in, he thinks nothing of it. wilbur joins and apparently hes cooking drugs in a van with the child? not his problem. and with no pushback from a higher power, tommy anfd wilbur have no reason to start lmanburg. and so they fall victim to the harsh and tumultuous life of drugs, quickly snuffing out any roots of rebellion. and then schlatt logs on. and with no one to stop (or ban) him, he quickly realizes the potential of the smp and takes over, easily (lets not get into the logistics, its schlatt, hed figure out a way). so i think you can figure out what happens after that, murder blah blah tyranny blah evilness, so on and so forth.

and where does karl fit in? so karl presumably lives the schlatt timeline and decides to change it, cause anything is better than this shithole. and so how does he know where to go back and what to change? hmm that fishy dude in the green body suit seems eerily powerful in an unlocked, untouched way. he finds out dream is immortal (idk karl is karl) and decides to take the risk and go back in time to find his old life, cornelius. there he concocts a game (ahh see told you id explain ;)) in which he persuades 2 villagers to murder others, promising power, guys you can trust me im a time traveler, ultimately leading to the tragedy that befalls cornelius and corrupts him forever leading to what we now know as the dream smp (yes dream is arguably worse than schlatt, but karl doesnt know that yet and besides he has friends now!).

tldr: karl is from a timeline in which corpse and robin survive the salem game, encouraging cornelius/dream to lead a peaceful life not involved in political affairs (tommy and wilbur dont create lmanburg), ultimately leading to the unopposed rise of jschlatt and tyranny. karl goes back in time to fix it by creating the game and corrupting cornelius into becoming c!dream (evil bitch) and creating the smp as we know it today.

My biggest headcanon for Amy is that she actually fits in with sonic and his friends by not being how she is in game like there is nothing wrong with Amy NOTHING but my amy takes more of a tails approach to life, she likes to invent she likes to work on machines mainly metal sonc

That's really the only reason she tinkers she wants to help metal sonic become his own person but to so that she needs to learn how to at least be as smart as tails to mess with eggmand tech

So she has to put forth the effort to learning it but If everybody knew she was trying to help metal sonic THE ENEMY they wouldnt lift a finger for her cause so she just doeant ask or reason she just watches and learns by taking stuff apart and putting it back together or something like that

my Amy is raised by the adventures sonic and his friends go on which she also gets to go on so she was practically raised by her friends and Sally

Sally plays a part in her life that as a kid she grew up with sonic and sally like tails did but she was less sheltered I dont remember if she lived in a orphanage I think she did in me and my friend au starting from square one my amy grew up in knothole with sonic but before knothole she was living on the beach where the plane crash was in sonic CD with sonic tails and knuckles toughing it out as classic babys until Sally and elias ventured outside and found some children on the beach (which they were also children) brought them to au ver forest knothole ect ect

sally is a mom friend to her, sonic tails and knuckles are like siblings shes not smart like tails and never took any interest in building things until eggman sent a metal sonic to come destroy knothole the plan to burn the forest or whatever he wanted to do failed and uncle chuck ended up using that metal sonic to make shard but shard wouldnt be made for a while eggman sends a recurring metal sonic which amy is very interested in

she can see him struggling to listen to eggman and she really wants to be his friend in order to help him be his own person she has to become smart enough to disable his eggman worshiping mind so she just frequently meets with her friend until she can tinker with his brain once shes done that metal sonic makes the conscious decision to keep visiting her of his own free will

This continues until tails builds a plane to go to station square for materials or whatever cause I dont remember why they were going there maybe just to explore

Amy wants to go but she doesnt wanna leave her friend but adventure seeker is in her personality due to sonic so she goes

amys view of sonic is more a older brother/close friend so she can spend her time doing something else delvoping a likeness for metal while shes away

I could go on for a longer time but this is just stuff I remember from building her story off of almost nothing
