Climbing and stuff #cause dunmer and altmer etc. have straight nails. they can hit the nail salon

to me the most heartbreaking thing about saw is that both lawrence and adam really could have benefited from a wake up call if only it didn’t come in the form of a literal death trap. the lessons they learn by the end—lawrence learning how his actions harm those around him, adam realizing he does want to live—they are worth learning, but not in a life or death situation that results in neither character actually having the chance to change. adam is left to rot, lawrence is molded into the perfect accomplice and loses his family in the process. I think what a lot of people miss in analyzing the bathroom trap is that it was never meant to be fair in the first place. it was revenge, and later, a recruitment.
