#artists on tumblr #illustration #animated illustration #animation #backgrounds #animated gifs #background illustration #myillust #landscape #plants #scenery #summer #hiii! just wanted to share an artwork i made that's super fresh from the oven ksfknsf #'the wandering painter' will be a series that consists of artworks that has elements that i struggle to draw and am trying to improve on!#ive always really struggled with the process of painting (for example) clouds fields grass grasslands flowers etc #despite the end result coming out satisfactory imo but i cant deny that it most of the time feels like a fluke #so this series would consist of my journey of improving how to draw said elements/areas more confidently :D #this artwork in particular - i studied and practiced how to paint/draw silver grass better along with grasses and clouds #i feel like im sorta getting the hang of it but theres definitely room to study and experiment how i can paint it better #so yeah! nonetheless i really hope you'll like this! and i hope you'll have a lovely day/night ahead <3333

#my art #jujutsu kaisen #jjk #yuji itadori #megumi fushiguro #itafushi #fushiita #fanart #jjk fanart #jujutsu kaisen fanart #megumi #yuuji #im shaky and numb the way this took years off my life #genuinely cannot believe i thought it was smart to make it a comic i could have stuck at a painting and it would have been fine #but nooooooo in my hubris i thought Surely im an expert at this longform stuff now Surely i can do it :)#and then it killed me it killed me dead this is like over twice as long as the train comic and 4 times as detailed #backgrounds . angles. i yearn fr death.#AND I HAD 2 WRITE THEM ACTUALLY TALKING GGSDH i am actually so insecure abt the way the dialogue flows gomen....#i wanted to add more to it to fix how clipped and rushed i think it reads #but that would mean drawing more expressions would mean drawing more panels would mean more gd hyDRANGEAS #so ultimately i decided 2 have the conversation take the hit because let me tell u.#if i have to draw. one more blue petal i will snap i will lose it #i knew tht would happen n wanted to alleviate some of the pain so i found a few brushes that helped speed up the process #but the thing w a lot of premade flower brushes is they also come preshaded n look uniform in a way that stands out badly against my style #so i had 2 render over them anyway........#yuuji's domain rly putting me through the wringer first the train station now death by a bajillion petals smh #all that to say tho . my labour of love . i am going to take a nap #hina.comic

So im starting a new art project with pieces i plan to sell as prints and maybe also make some designs to sell on society 6 in the same theme

Ive always had a passive interest in the language of flowers (and im a sucker for a good flower shop au). And ive realized I enjoy drawing plants from doing my book project. And after drawing almost 100 different ones I've gotten pretty good at it and somehow am not tired of it yet. So im gonna draw bouquets that communicate different things. Both good and bad cuz both can be fun. And maybe also some patterned pieces but im not sure yet.

#im on the more boring part of my plant book project (gathering information about the plants and copying it into the book)#but im still in the mood to draw so i cant stay focused on the information gathering for longer than a couple hours #i want to draw and paint more #i do not want to write #also im writing it all by hand which is time consuming #and its not that information isnt interesting #it IS but its not what i want to be focusing on right now #i mean rn for the new project im doing information gathering but its LESS information #and its information i can play around with to influence how the pieces turn out #which is far more exciting #all the information for the plant book is for me at the moment is an obstacle to get past before i can bind the book #because A its a small but thick book that would be kind of annoying to write in once its bound. and B if i bind it first i guarantee #i wont ever get around to writing in it #cuz this is the boring part and im gonna keep putting it off if i dont have the incentive of getting to bind it after the boring partisdone #SO. new project.#one that will hopefully make me some money so i can take some of the burden of my continued existence off my parents lol #because while they have said they will continue to support me as much as possible for as long as possible without judgement #i am constantly filled with an insurmountable guilt from years of having to hear from ex friends and parents of friends #how terrible it is to be an adult that still lives with their parents and still mostly depends on their parents #and that clearly my parents failed at raising me if i still live at home and dont have a job #BUT. all i need is to make enough money to pay for my health insurance and to pay for harleys expenses #and hopefully still have enough to buy snacks and art supplies as needed

wanted 2 incorporate their canon design into this one a bit so their torso and left shoulder resemble their computer form!! and then I wuz like Okay their other shoulder needs smthing too and I’m like OKAY TURRET!! and they have a lil power switch thingy on there too to reference . The power switches that u turn turrets off with ^_^

and then I wuz gonna give them boots or something and ended up designing shoes OOPS!! based on the turrets (again)

will draw more of them tomorrow I am so tired rn zzzzz
