Sebeshka's kids sketches + some lore yay

Not adding names yet, but they have them. I only added the names of two Crocodile-Guardians of the Zigvolt Household - Boyar and Kathos (might change later)

The oldest is Sebek's pride. He follows his father's steps and is already getting ready to be a royal guard.

Grumpy lol (bro is only 13 but already soo mad ah)

He acts kinda cocky sometimes because he was the first child LORD MALLEUS blessed (yes Malleus be blessing all their kids, imagine how happy Sebek is omg).

And when Malleus first blessed the boy, he didn't control his "blessing power" so it came out super strong.

Basically, now the boy has lots of strength and magic AND DRAGON BLESSING.

Also, his hair has the unique "laurel wreath", which is considered a sign that he will be a great warrior.

I mean, he has all the right to act cocky.

Will sometimes go "I'm the Son of the General" at other kids who disrespect him (which are few, because he initiates a fight and most of the time wins).

The second son is a funny guy. Unlike the oldest, he isn't interested in guard duty much, mostly because he was born with INSANE electrical powers. It has to do with the way... he was conceived.......

And because of that, mother now has a lightning scar wow. It's a funny story actually.

Anyway he is interested in electronics and wants to visit Isle of Woe to meet tech genius Idia Shroud :)

He respects Malleus but only because he thinks he is SOO COOL!!

Which makes Sebek a little mad - he would love the boy to respect Malleus fully.

He also likes Thorn Witch because she is SOO COOL!!!

He also likes and owns a lot of Thorn Witch merch

"Gotta go fast"

Mama's boy (mostly because he feels guilty that, because of him, mama got a scar) :(

The youngest one is heavenly beautiful - she got Sebek's mint hair and his wife's salmon-pink eyes - and everyone thought that she would be a gentle lady and the most desired maiden to court, but she has only a huge interest in crocodiles (Boyar and Kathos have been really close with her since birth) and isn't afraid to get her hands dirty.

Wants to be a crocodile researcher etc, so interested in vet medicine.

Really likes uncle Silver, but thinks "he is too soft". Uncle Silver wanted to introduce her to his animal friends when he learnt she likes animals, but she got a little bored with bunnies and squirrels.

Such a sweet girl, really!

in case you are in the mood to feel devastated here’s an alternate way of viewing charles’ response to edwin’s confession:

we know that charles kinda puts edwin on a pedestal- yes they are partners but there is a bit of a hierarchy between them. charles just looks up to and admires edwin in so many ways while constantly looking down on and being really hard on himself. he puts on his big happy persona because he thinks that people wouldn’t like him if they actually got to know him.

so when edwin confesses, it’s like a blow to him. he took his charming persona too far and went and tricked the most important person in the world into thinking he was worthy of love. and it’s worse because he does love edwin in that way, which is exactly why he can’t let him know that. charles still believes that he is like his dad, and he saw exactly what his parents’ relationship did to his mother.

he thinks that loving edwin in the way that he wants to would only cause more pain to this boy who has already been through far more than he deserves. so he blinks back his tears, attempts the same charming smile he’s used all these years, and dishes out the gentlest non-rejection in the history of forever

#i don’t really think this is what happened but my brain just loves to add an extra sprinkle of angst to everything #but honestly the more that i study that scene the more i think this is a possibility #at least to some extent #like specifically his facial reactions after edwin says he’s in love with him #he looks panicked and devastated #almost like it was something he thought about before and was afraid of it happening #and then he cracks his little joke to downplay it because he isn’t ready to accept that what’s really happening #because he already had to watch edwin get dragged away before he could step in to protect him and now this #his two worst nightmares became reality in hell #anyways i do think he’s just oblivious and will figure it out in season 2 #but i just wanted to ramble #i do think a lot of the reason why he has to figure things out is because he’s afraid he’s a bad person #so it’s more him figuring out if he’s good enough to love edwin rather than if he actually does #okay i’m done yapping for now #dead boy detectives #payneland #charles rowland

I wrote this prompt a few months back and decided to draw the scene I kept thinking about; it's kind of a gift for myself :3 this is near the end

For additional context, whoever cursed Sukuna did tell him that only a true love's kiss would lift the curse but he thought it was bullshit and decided to look for another solution. Fast forwards to Yuuji and him building a bond and he still doesn't tell him about it because, well, this is way too stupid to actually work. So Yuuji kissed him because he wanted to and now Sukuna has twice as much information to process

brush test slash rendering practice with ayem

#morrowind #almalexia #the elder scrolls #tes #tes fanart #art #id in alt #ok that's all the tags this needs ANYWAY #i started this 1. for experimenting with coloring from dark to light #2. because i wanted to draw someone kind of back turned to the camera #3. rendering practice for hair particularly #4. to go from sketch to rendering rather than doing lines to see if that doesn't smooth out my workflow a bit #5. because i've never actually used this brush past flat coloring #and out of those 1. i don't think i had enough of an idea of the palette or process to jump into dark to light painting so i did scrap that #and go with my usual “flat color with one of the mid shadow tones add shadows add light”#i do think that painting from shadows out is a thing people do digitally i just think this wasn't the drawing to test it on for me #i think i'd need to look at some other peoples processes and start with a more fleshed out idea of where to go #2 and 3 i think worked out. i'm gradually figuring hair out which i think is sick #4 i also think worked out for me which is also sick because i do get caught on lines a lot. they're fun sometimes but i think some drawings #benefit better from not having them and that it might be a bit faster #and of course everything i do is so that i can draw slightly faster and better for next artfight #as for 5. i have mixed feelings on this brush but that might be because i hate change. and also because i started this drawing on the 15th #of november and finished it yesterday. so im kind of just sick of working on and looking at it #it was a valuable learning experience and i think it came out well! i am also going to drop to my knees and rejoice when i can finally #close this file out and free medibang paint from under it so i can work on Literally Anything Else #thank you almalexia for being my test subject i should've used a reference for your armor when i did the sketch but i didn't #maybe the crown looks weird because of it maybe it doesn't. not my problem anymore i can draw other elves again #my art #iiii think i forgot a my art tag last time

#agh I’m so so nervous but I’m big and strong and you all agree with me <3 #plus it’s nearly 6 in the morning and I pulled an all nighter to finish this. which I’m sure is not helping my stress levels At All!#ALSO!#I’m gonna do another one!#you will NEVER know which picture so get fuckin ready HELLLLLLLLL yeah!!!#<- as for those of you who were Present when I said which picture I was gonna do. ummmmm. shut up! say nothing!!#ALSO…..2!!#wanted to share how I did the scuff marks cuz I felt like it. and also I said I was gonna do it. anyway!#what you wanna do is get a real textured brush. ideally something pencil adjacent #and a mid grey color #and with LIGHT pressure you follow the edges of whatever metal bit you’re rendering #you can go a little heavier on the corners if you desire #from the corners you take a smudge tool and gently blend in the opposite direction of the corner if that makes sense #and then take an eraser (IDEALLY one that’s the same as your rendering brush)#and gently erase back towards the corner. but with a much smaller brush size #add little scratches and pick marks as you please #and that’s it #you know maybe this would make more sense with an actual diagram I’m so so bad at explaining stuff agh #I’m gonna shut the hell up now 🙏#trigun #nicholas d. wolfwood #trigun stampede #trigun fanart

Probably SUCH an unpopular opinion except in my little corner of the world, but BOY would Bridgerton so be my thing if it weren't for all the sex scenes

#i know that's kind of the point atp but it's so annoying to me #id love to watch a lovely regenecy romance series focusing on a different family member each season! do not want to watch porn!#i watched the first season while scrolling past all the sex scenes and was pleasantly surprised to find only like two sex scenes in season 2 #season 2 was actually pretty enjoyable for me!#i tried watching season 3 but it was just too hard to scroll past all the gross stuff #and honestly? the show would be better without all the smut. like. so much better.#it adds nothing #like 99% of all sex scenes #id hoped future seasons were going to continue the trend of season 2 of being more chill but nope. so i will not be watching.#my soul is worth way more than keeping up with whatever is popular #lilac rambles #honestly i hate that smut has made its way into almost all media lately
