We're Cinnabar System (collectively go by Buttercup, Cinnabar, and Binx) and we use it/kyu/fwu among other pronouns! We're a system of around 60+ alters. (Not super confident writing for Cod Ghosts, but this idea has been haunting me for months. For a while, I kept seeing posts about how Keegan is a weirdo, and like imagine if he had a partner who was the walking definition of "match their freak")

CW: mentions of drinking, gn! but reader is described as pretty

None of the Ghosts believed Keegan whenever he mentioned the pretty thing he's got waiting at home. When he mentions his sweetheart, the others always makes jokes like "your partner in Canada, right".

You can't really blame them for thinking he's lying. Keegan is kind of a weirdo. It's like there's no filter between his brain and his mouth anymore, and on more than one occasion, he's spoken his intrusive thoughts aloud.

So, when they finally have a rare moment of downtime, Keegan convinces you to join the team for drinks. They all stare as you two approach, absolutely gob smacked that Keegan wasn't making you up.

Maybe you're a little overdressed, but it's so rare for Keegan to be home anymore, and it's even more rare that you get the chance to go out anymore. On top of that, you're meeting the most important people in his life right now. First impressions matter, and you want to make a good one. Er, well, as good as you can.

Things start off well, just casual conversation as the other Ghosts are dying to know more about you. None of them can believe such a pretty, and awfully normal, person like yourself is with Keegan. An assumption that's quickly proven wrong.

There's a lull in the conversation, one that Keegan easily fills asking, "Think I could break this glass with my bare hands?"

Simultaneously, all the Ghosts turn to look at you, waiting to see how you handle Keegan and his lack of a filter.

"I mean, sure, but then you'd have to eat the glass. Can't be leaving a mess behind," you reply casually,

"Is this the good glass, or the bad glass?" Keegan continues, sliding his pint towards you.

You take the cup, sliding your finger across the rim for a moment. Taking a sip of his drink, you scrunch your face up in disgust, sliding the drink back to him. "Good glass, bad drink. So I won't be helping you eat it."

Keegan sighs sadly, nodding his head in agreement. The beer at this particular bar does suck.

The rest of the Ghosts stare at you in a mix of surprise and disappoint. Not disappointed in you, but in themselves, for thinking that Keegan's partner wouldn't be as weird as him.

How did Tucker and Sam first find out about phantom? Was it just that some weird ecto shit was going on nearby and Danny sorta changed without trying to and all, and Sam and Tucker just kinda saw it going “what the fuck-“/silly

Okay and an add on to that, has anyone ever seen Danny change that shouldn’t have, since if he can’t really control it in this AU, I wouldn’t be surprised if there were some close calls because Tuck and Sam found a way to cover him

Seconds after Danny leaves for the restroom, a ghost (the Lunch Lady) shows up. In the panic, Sam and Tucker run to check if Danny's okay. Or just generally, get his low blood sugar, close to passing out butt away from the danger zone.

As to how they find out? They rush into the closest restroom. And kinda see the idiot(s) passed out on the floor mid-transformation 👍

I fiddled a lil with the timeline so now the au is kinda no one knows? But Sam and Tuck find out the second the first big bad ghost shows up. In the Dannys' defense, neither of them had any idea what was happening.

Actually... not really? Since Danny and Phantom have Tucker and Sam to cover for them and the two are at Danny's side 24/7, pretty much no one has seen them transform. Wes is the no one.
