i never ever want to paint basil or wren in a bad light because, while their sudden disappearance hurts, theyve never done anything else to wrong me and i genuinely wish happiness upon them. i’m angry but i understand that basil was likely doing what was best for him. it hurts, and i wish he would have told me he didn’t want to be my friend anymore, but it’s not like i was specifically a very good friend, either. i can’t hate him for doing what was best for him
