Which member of Team Natsu do you think would be the most challenging for a bad guy to hold captive?

The woman who casually rips holes in the fabric of time and space on the daily? The man who can freeze anything he looks at? Or the girl who gets her power by breathing?

(Assuming anti-magic devices aren’t in play)

Magic suppression is definitely a game changer, though without it (even assuming the mage in question isn't magically drained/exhausted, and possibly kept that way) I think the power of heavy duty materials still go a long way.

That said, my answer would have to be Erza. She's a tank *and* a swiss-army knife. There's no way she can't summon the exact armor or weapon needed for the job... even if the weapon in question is just lock-picks. There's no way to plan for her vulnerabilities without knowing her entire inventory. Now, there might be a way to circumvent this by simply giving her no room to summon anything or available hand to use it, though it's hard to say if Erza would still be able to, say, displace a bunch of chains by summoning armor in-between them and her body. Since she requips directly onto herself anyway, her control is proven to be immaculate. Plus she's just all around scary and badass XD

Next in line of difficulty might actually be Wendy. Her buffs and enchantments can be a game-changer, and as you mentioned, she can pretty much always have access to her element. (Though I do imagine that, say, some dank dungeon wouldn't be that magic-rich sky so I wouldn't really count on that as a big boost.) Although wind itself might not be that effective if any metals are in play. It would mostly be the array of enchantments, whether that means giving herself an inhuman strength boost previously unexpected or enchanting up a debuff on whatever is holding her. (However to this point, baby Wendy as we know her might not be this versatile yet.)

Gray is close in my internal ranking, because he can make anything, but unlike Erza he has to *make* it, and if he doesn't have both hands available, then it might not be as sturdy. Plus there's stuff that won't break from the cold, and would be more durable than ice in a clash. They might have to get a certain type of alloy/material to withstand the flash-freeze, but honestly Gray doesn't have as much raw strength as Erza or Natsu anyway so there's still the breaking issue.

Natsu is definitely a beast of a guy but if he's up against fireproof and highly durable materials then he would be out of luck. (And they might have to be magicked to be fireproof, but I think that's fairly doable.) Once the brute-forcing option fails he's a bit cooked.

Then poor Lucy is really easy if you get her away from her keys. The trick might be if somebody like Virgo or Loke summons themselves to mount a rescue, but that also falls into any Fairy Tail rescue which could apply to all of them. (And I'm assuming that if she's separated from her keys then locating her would be tricky.)

Oh and Happy and Charle would also be really easy to hold captive. Poor little guys.

Minho huffs. The blanket he's bundled in feels stiff and heavy around his body, anchoring him to a floor that's long fallen out from beneath him. He looks up at his other half, and feels his chest twist.

"Everyone dies eventually," Minho throws back, words snapping against the bitter silence that's settled around them. Jisung's nose is red. The skin around his fingers is brittle and torn as he reaches out, months old callouses scattered across his knuckles.

The blanket shifts slightly as he finds one of Minho's hands, freezing fingers slipping against his warm palm. He should be cold like Jisung, but he isn't, fever burning him from the inside out.

"Not you," Jisung whispers, heartbroken. "Not like this."

Minho doesn't know what else to say.

There's nothing left to say, when he's never felt more alive.

ok ok wait hear me out. idk about your au, but canon dakota strikes me as one of those people who's tormented by an entity their entire life while desperately trying to cling onto their normalcy and humanity - specifically the desolation!! iirc, becoming an avatar of the desolation includes destroying the things you care about the most - relationships, family, basically your attachments. and to me, that is SO dakota. he lost his parents, his only friend (rooftop girl whose name i forgot,,), nearly his aunt, ashe. he just keeps losing his most valuable relationships and i think it would be fair if he started feeling compelled to start taking an active part - destroying. the desolation taunts him in the form of doug, literally the Fire Guy, his body is declining rapidly and he doesn't know how much longer it can support him. after season one ends, he actively leaves william and vyncent and goes off on his own for TEN MONTHS. he was SO close to destroying the most valuable relationship in his life (at that point). he eats a literal chaos demon, a malicious and fiery entity who also taunts him in the form of doug and ashe. but while i think kota would be marked by the desolation, i don't think he'd give in - he wants to protect and help people, not destroy and hurt. but the relationship between him and the desolation would be very interesting imo.

as for you au - please tell me summer will show up at some point i love her eye aligned stranger avatar self :))

I love Summer too!! At one point I had her as kind of a Basira-type character- a police officer investigating the archives? I did end up cutting that though, but it’s very possible that she’ll still be mentioned!! I definitely don’t want to ignore her ^-^

As long as Vince feels like he can trust whoever he’s taking or going home with, he doesn't really care that much where they end up. Usually it’s a decision of pragmatism, whose place is closer to wherever they are now, who has the nicer shower, whether there are roommates involved that might not wanna see or hear anything they end up doing, things like that. I think taking guys home with him instead of going to their place only became a little bit more of a concern for him once he’d started out as a merc and had his own apartment again… he’s living quite anonymously in the Megabuilding and prefers it that way. He’d like as few people as possible to know that he lives there, stores his equipment there, is vulnerable there, for his own safety but also theirs. Kerry is the first and remains the only guy he ever takes home to his Megabuilding apartment xD

🔵 - What activity to do with them to get them relaxed and in the mood?

Getting him in the mood when he’s already relaxed or in a comfortable space that feels safe is usually no problem at all. A little dirty talk or a suggestive comment or joke is more than enough, although he’s not gonna say no to a massage or just making out a bit first.

The real problem is to get him relaxed in the first place sometimes though. Vince is someone who can be so stubborn and up in his own head , if he doesn’t wanna relax it’s super hard to get him to. The best thing then is to give him some space for a bit, let him reconsider if he’d really rather [do a work thing, usually] or get it on. And then he’ll usually come around on his own rather quickly xD

Kerry saying his name drives Vince absolutely nuts in the best way possible

Being called a “good boy”, being told what to do, or even being gently forced to hand over the reins and let himself go/ letting go of control

The other way around he likes to be in charge occasionally too though, it makes him feel super empowered and that alone is a big turn-on xD

Eye-contact, especially when they’re a bit rougher with each other; but in general it just intensifies the whole experience so much for Vince on an emotional level

Oh man. My brain immediately went to a Damien/Freelancer sorta vibe. Like, early Season 1 days. When the crush is forming and he doesn't really know why he's feeling like this and Fl is feeling the same and neither of them even touch on it... ooh I like it!

They're both, like, studying and go out for ice cream and Damien's melts so fast because he generates so much heat that just holding his cone makes the ice cream melt and Fl just puts their hand over his and helps cool the ice cream back down when they're alone (or on campus and don't have to worry about covert) and they smile up at him and he's thinking "why does your smile make me melt faster than this ice cream cone"

I asked my coworker today if they could fill in tmr evening bc we had to switch things up bc some delivery didn't came and now we have to switch up the whole event (like we need to do smth at our place but the og thing is not possible) and they (we're friends actually) had the audacity to come to me with a "oh but couldn't you have planned that back in november when u knew smth was happening at yours?" .... girliepop the whole thing changed last week, my boss who usually does this is on sick leave and i have had a christmas market to run in between - girl what do u mean I could've done better, i am fucvking trying and crying over here to have our place even running next year

Why is Ford even there, you might ask?
