like dick, we already know man’s is gorgeous beyond belief.

jason is more handsome than pretty, but he looks just like his mom when she was younger and perhaps kinder, with long lashes and flush cheeks and plump lips, and looking like an angel when he wasn't about to shoot.

tim is the scary type of beauty. like janet drake, who was ready to cut someones throat in a second, ready to negotiate and ruin someones life with that cold cold smile. like the devil, with beauty that makes everyone around him envious. skinny, pale with blood red lips plump lips, high cheekbones, and a cold smile that makes you fall inlove and know that you're making a great mistake at the same time.

damian is always told how much he looks like a younger bruce, but really he looks a lot like talia. with soft, smooth hair, sharp green eyes like a tiger, pink lips that form a pout when he doesn't get what he wants, and beautiful dark caramel skin that still holds his baby fat, that will be filled with muscle like both of his parents.

Here is a drawing of one of my favourite changes in choreography in the Australian deh production :)

During Good For You, after Alana and Jared have their little solos, Alana comes to the front of the stage and crouches down with her hands over her head, completely still. At the same time, Jared goes upstage and paces back and forth very quickly - every time he has to turn around he makes stilted and frustrated gestures as if he doesn’t know what to do with himself. I was very excited by this, as it is so unlike the broadway version of this scene where they stand symmetrically on opposite sides of the stage. Instead, Alana and Jared’s reaction to their feelings are clearly contrasted against each other. It seemed so natural too; while they move in formation for a lot of gfy, here it was like they had to take a break from the song because of how overwhelmed they were! Which only made it easier to empathise with them. The whole song was spectacular of course but this particular decision I think was very successful. I have always been intrigued by the contrast between Alana and Jared and it was really brought to the forefront in this moment.

but i want to talk about her expressions after gideon asks if she's alright:

i dont know. throughout the first season, elle expresses the strongest negative feelings towards sex offenders (reasonable!) and sure, she came from a unit dealing specifically with that and that's her specialty (remember when all the characters had specific skill sets and specialties?) but especially this reaction here seems very personal. and this is pre-randall garner, so she doesn't yet have that connection to being attacked in her own home.

also. the team knows sexual offense crimes are elle's specialty. they know that's where she came from. but her response to gideon when he asks if she's okay after she goes off on scott isn't "i've seen a lot of this and it gets me riled up" it's to get defensive and evasive. if it was anger born of something the team is aware of, why hide it? her response to gideon and her expression afterwards very much read to me as someone hiding something.

Ahshfjg. I talk a lot about todolf but let me make this clear: canonically (Vienna), Death doesn't love Rudolf. The only person he's ever loved (depending on portrayal) is Elisabeth, and that's literally the point of the show (or of Lucheni's conceit, anyway). Máté's Tod arguably doesn't even care for Rudolf, he just wants to eat him (I think he pities baby Rudolf before the cartoon lamp of evil ideas gets lit above his head), Uwe's is more ambiguous (idk what he feels if anything ajjdfj).

AND it's actually why I love the ship so much. Rudolf literally has nobody else, the only person (...?) he can trust and turn to for comfort is going to kill him, and on some level he knows this but can't turn away. And they're going to have extremely messed up [redacted] [redacted] about it asjjdjfjfkskfgj
