As we know, Oda made the original seven warlords all animal themed. With Doflamingo -duh- being a flamingo 🦩💖. But in this post I wanted to add the additional reasons I find it funny that my favorite warlord is indeed, a bird. Because most birds are chaotic, evil trainwrecks if you didn’t know! Do not be fooled by their elegant propaganda of the American bald eagle, peacock, and such.
Far more bird species are of the hissing/unpredictable/possessive/oversexed/homicidal/drama queen variety.
And as part of my example, I will be introducing my pet cockatiel! He is a male, lutino color variant. I took him to the avian vet recently to get a quick nail trim (he treats my arm like a bloodied ski slope with his little feet razors otherwise).

The likeness is uncanny, right? Spiked up blond hairdo and all. 🤣
But here is my rambling list below of why Doflamingo fits the bird theming beyond just his aesthetics. Note, all species are different. These are just generalities.
1. Birds are needy, attention whores. Realistically, this comes from wanting the attention and safety of their flock. And my bird gets plenty of out of cage time with us. But oh my god, sometimes if he hears me so much as sneeze and he can’t see me…WHY AM I IN THE HOUSE, BUT NOT WITH HIM!? WHY!? RED ALERT. He starts flock calling for me, and I must respond with at least a whistle or he will begin screaming. Because surely, someone must be murdering me if I don’t come to him immediately.
2. They are complete horndogs. Seriously, everyone thinks humping inappropriate things is a male dog exclusive problem. Nope. There are professional bird behaviorists that people literally pay to come teach them how to calm their pet birds’ sexual aggression and the nightmare that can become. You have to be mindful of how you interact with them, lest they start thinking YOU are their mate and begin attacking anyone else in the house who is not you. Because they are jealous. So jealous. I only pet/preen my bird on his head. As that is perfectly platonic flock behavior. But touching anywhere else (back or chest for example) can make them think it’s sexy time. Male birds will hump the utter hell out of “favorite” objects. Birds kept with others must be monitored that no one is getting ganged up on. But it happens in the wild too. Female ducks need pepper spray or self defense classes. I’ll just leave it at that.
3. They are murderous/violent, and easily overstimulated. So my bird weighs around 80 grams give or take. As an adult human, he’s not going to take me down anytime soon. But if he wanted to, he likely could bite me hard enough to go to the bone. He never has truly bitten me, but I watch his body language. He runs up wanting to be petted. Or sits on me long enough that he falls asleep. He likes to be together, but always on his terms. If I touched him too much, or when he didn’t want it, he’d definitely bite me. People have lost eyes to larger birds. People have had to have reconstructive surgery from parrot bites. They can crush whole nuts in their beak. So what do you think they’ll do to your face when they are sitting on your shoulder and suddenly get triggered (which they very easily are)? Humans have been drowned by swans. And forget it when it comes to something like the Cassowary. You’re already dead if they really wanted you to be.
4. They are opportunistic. Oh look, more murder! People think only birds of prey are the true meat eaters. But a pelican would eat you if it thought it could swallow you. Even the smallest birds have been observed killing other birds and small mammals if they can. Food is food. They are not cute to their victims. They are survivalists. No mercy. Ever. Some baby birds actually eat their own nestmates if one sibling is stronger than the others (sorry Rosi, there really was a precedent for that 😰).
5. They are territorial. And still more murder! In my own yard we have birdhouses made for Eastern bluebirds. They’re a species that legit benefits from human intervention as bluebirds will only nest in cavities, which they have less of now because of deforestation and competition with non native species taking said cavities. Non native species (for the US anyway) of the European house sparrow in particular. House sparrows are tiny. Smaller than a bluebird. But they will slaughter a bluebird family. All over territory during breeding season. They enter the bluebird nest and will peck even the adult bluebirds to death if they can catch them on the nest. They killed a male bluebird of ours this way. Now we put up “sparrow spookers” on our active bluebird nests once eggs are in the box. It’s just mylar streamers that blow in the wind, and the sparrows are afraid to fly through it. But every breeding season we have to go through this again. Basically Riku dynasty versus Donquixote dynasty in our backyard with the invading house sparrows.
And I could go on and on really, about greed, mood swings, vanity, etc. But you get the idea now. Murder, sex, and bright plumage. Heavy emphasis on the murder especially. He really is a bird in every sense of the word. 😅
Edit: Oh! And I forgot grudges! Some birds will hold a grudge for ages. Just ask a crow. I thought my bird would be over my betrayal of the vet visit by today. Nah. He’s still pissed. He won’t come to me right now. He fakes me out to offer my hand to him, then says, nah, bitch! And opens his mouth like he rather bite. It’ll be a few days I guess. 🤣 Never betray a Donquixote!

The Bikini Bottom Legacy

Hi Guys! Oooooo🎙️🎶🎵🎼🧜🏽‍♀️! My name is SirenSims & I have been thinking for a long while about a legacy challenge that I could create that was a bit different from the other challenges I have been seeing. So I thought about the personalities of the Spongebob Squarepants Characters, and so The Bikini Bottom Legacy was formed! There are a ton of personalities to play with in the Sims 3. So this Legacy will help you discover those and have some juicy Storylines to keep it engaging! It was hard to pick just 10 archetypes, and some of these features I’ve never used before so I’m excited to try this out! 
If you decide to do this, tag me thesirensims or bikinibottomlegacy so I can see! And feel free to let me know what you think. This is my first challenge so if there are things I could do differently/better let me know!
Important! - This Challenge is not Basegame only, if you find a way to convert it to Basegame or to the Sims 2, Please tag me! I would love to see that! Also, This Challenge is Story Driven to help it not get boring fast. So try to stick to the required storylines as needed. And please do not use the money or needs Cheats in this challenge if you can manage ( Makes it more fun IMO) <3

Generation 1 - SpongeBob Squarepants
You have a heart of gold and just want to make others happy with your Cooking! Your Family raised you to be positive, helpful & friendly (even to your detriment!). Moving into a new town you bring light, laughter, and good food. You bought a two-story tiny house for you and your feline friend (Cat with any G name you want). You made two best friends, one Grumpy and one Lazy ( Make them in CAS or find sims with those traits in town). By the time you reach level 6 or 7 seven of your Culinary Career, you feel like spreading your love by extending your family. So you adopt a kid-aged sim ( Easily Impressed & Couch Potatoe Trait required). At this point you know everyone in town & go out whenever you are invited (despite the inconvenience). You have a lot of experiences on your belt and you boast a jellyfish you caught yourself and a few different Butterfly Species you collected on days off (atleast 3 types). You end your life as a wise Chef that people can't help but love!

Generation 2 - Patrick Star
You have a soft place in your heart for your parents. Especially the one that adopted you, because life was hard before you met them. You only moved out of their home after you became an adult since you were so comfy. You miss their cooking and how they accepted you for who you are. But since they passed, it's been hard to look at the walls of bright yellow memories. You move into a tiny house or apartment because you don't require a lot to live comfortably. People expect a lot from you, however, you don't have the same work ethic as your parents. You start off as a Day Spa attendant for the perks and to help others relax and have a good time. You go to clubs every weekend and get sloshed. You even have a one night-stand or three. As a hobby, you love to fish (Maybe you could do it for money one day). You just want to relax and live free. Can you survive on a reckless low-maintenance lifestyle?

Generation 3 - Squidward Tentacles
Your Parent was definitely not strict, but they gave you so much freedom that you ended up resenting them and the rest of the town. Their lack of attentiveness caused you to fall off a slide and break your nose, as a preteen, so you had to get it fixed. However, a mishap occurred at the plastic surgeon that made your nose a little longer than normal. You had to move to the City where people are as rude and isolated as you are. One thing that you do thank your parents for is their overbearing but consistent support of your love for Painting and music. Once settled in the new City you make one friend who is so positive you don't see them very often (On Purpose!). You also make an enemy on the first day that infuriates and intrigues you at the same time. Your Dream is to be a composer for Movies, but you`ll be happy just making a living in the arts in general. You hate Butterflies and Jellyfish cause they remind you of your Parent, but you do get a pet and name it after your Parent. (Maybe you do miss them). Hopefully, a life of semi-solitude will fulfill you and help you live your dreams.

I was asked by @eva-sparda20 what my thoughts were on Arkham verse Jason and his parents. Here’s the story and the rant. I think most Jason variants have the same story for the most part. I also know in the original story his mother wasn’t actually Cathrine but was Sheila, I honestly don’t roll with that sorry line. I like the newer version where his mother is Cathrine. Besides, the original had been somewhat rewritten and is different from the original. That’s all! Enjoy, and just know there are dark themes. Sad ones. Be prepared.

AKJ’s father and mother are no different than the other Jason Todd variants. A selfish mother, deadbeat dad who may or may not have tried to make ends meet but was too drunk or drugged out like his wife Cathrine. AK Jason’s dad who is Willis Todd was abusive, abused his wife, abused Jason without discrimination. At some point in Jason’s life his dad started sleeping elsewhere. Going to the next best thing. Wherever he felt like going. Keeping the bed warm for another woman. Before that Jason’s dad did try to take care of Cathrine the best he could. However it’s hard to have a drunk man try to take care of a drugged out woman. He grew tired of trying, frustrated, he wasn’t in love with this woman anymore, it was a pain, an inconvenience. The abuse started shortly after giving up when Jason was around 3 almost four. Willis left when Jason was 6.
As for Jason’s mother, she was barely conscious. She was a good girl who got caught and fell in love with the wrong crowd. Once she got caught up with Jason’s dad and it was all downhill from there. Once addicted to drugs she couldn’t quit. No one stopped her, there was no voice of reason, she probably would have been outcast from her upstanding family. During the beginning of Cathrine and Willis’ relationship Cathrine got pregnant. She was mindful enough to not do any drugs during this time. At least not a lot of drugs. It’s still a miracle that Jason was born with any sort of disability mentally or physically.
During the first few months she took care of infant Jason, breastfeeding, sang him to sleep, all of the things. She was clean for a little bit but when Jason was about 2 she gave in to the itch that had always been in the back of her mind. The need that she felt ever since she stopped. Willis was more than happy to provide too so that didn’t help in the slightest. That’s when the cycle started to a point where it would never stop, wake up, shoot or snort a drug, and drift. The abuse she insured didn't really matter to her, she didn't feel it anyway. When she would “wake up” from the high she would see the bruises, the swollen parts and a beat up Jason. She couldn’t handle the failure. That fact that her parents were right. She’d become nothing. A failure. What’s better to do to forget them to do more drugs? Worked so far.
Jason started taking care of his mom when he was almost 4. When she was somewhat conscious he gave her water or beer, whatever was accessible. He learned to never let her have milk when drugged out. That was…a traumatic experience in itself. A bad mix. There was hardly any food in the house, just some crackers and some food that was in the freezer for a long time. He saw his mom use the microwave once so he knew what to do. He’d cook frozen food the best he could. Sometimes Cathrine would complain that the food was still cold through groans and have formed sentences. When his mother was completely passed out though he’d try to give her water, most of it didn’t really make it far, just pooled in her mouth and slipped down the sides of her lips. A miracle she didn’t choke.
When his father was around he was on high alert. The fights, when his mom was somewhat awake and alive having animated arguments and fights with Willis. Jason would hide under the table just waiting for it to be over. If Cathrine was passed out the narrative changes. His mother is defenseless. Vulnerable. So he stepped in protecting her the best he could. Most of the time it just ended with him flat out on the floor next to his mother hurting and sobbing. Sometimes as far as bleeding.when Jason’s dad started not coming home anymore he took care of his mom full time. Feeding her, sometimes helping her bath and wash up. That mostly included just a cold wet cloth and scrubbing. She still smelled most of the time.
The times she was awake she’d leave, usually to get her fix. Most of the time she came home with stringers. Jason witnessed all sorts of disgustingly sexual acts. Heard the most obscene words. Name calling, hair pulling, licking, fevered kisses, naked skin, and sounds that kept him up at night. Things a little boy who is only 6 shouldn’t see or be exposed to. Eventually he came to understand that those visitors were being paid with her body for drugs. He started stealing and dumpster diving for himself and his mom. Jason was light on his feet and hadn’t been caught by the cops. Not at all. He’d been jumped before though for food by some other street dweller. That was an awful time. He practically crawled his way home.
By the age of 8 Jason’s mom stop rousing so much, she stopped mindless babbling about things Jason didn’t understand and one day…she stopped moving all together. Her lips and fingers are blue from the lack of blood flow. Slight built up frothing at the mouth. A scary sight for Jason. He’d clean away the froth and try to warm her up. He tried to give her water but that wasn’t going to wake her. Not this time. No amount of pinching, shoving, or patting woke her up. He even punched her as hard as he could but she didn’t wake. He bawled because he felt guilt for hitting her hard. Reminded him of his dad. He’d apologize to her crying. “ ‘m sorry, I-i didn't mean ta hit ya hard.” The next few days he tried to wake her up but nothing. She was gone. Sadly there was no time to process, he had to fend for himself now, to try and survive. Part of him hoped she’d just wake up. He checks from time to time every time Jason comes back home. He stole, bargained, and ran the street. Smarter than any kid his age without an education.
One night he saw something, a sleek looking car that had a bat on it. A symbol. He had heard of Batman, but had never seen him though. Pretty stupid of him to leave such a nice car unattended. He would look around and when he saw the cost was clear he’d take a heavy four way wrench and start to work on stealing one of the tire plates. A shadow casted a darkness over him. Someone looming over him. Gripping the tool in his little hands he whipped around to swing at the individual only for it to be ripped from his hands. Batman was terrifying but Jason wouldn’t let him know he was afraid. A slew of colorful curse words and creative threats spewed from his mouth. Threats he knew he couldn’t really keep but he wanted to get this Batman to understand he wanted a pushover or easy to take down. The Batman analyzed him, looking him over quietly for a moment before the odd sound of laughing. Jason should have ran but he didn’t. He stayed. He was confused. Batman smiled and said “hungry?” Jason would causouly accept. That night he’d eat more burgers than he’d ever had in his whole life. Fries and a drink. He ate like the starved child he was. That was where his life started as Robin. The snowball that brought him to who he is now. The Redhood. The vigilante of the streets. The man who used to be the Arkham knight. The man who is playing Batman’s game but with his own rules.
Side notes: Jason’s life never really had a pause. He still kept on going in life and didn’t get a chance to heal or even pause and think things over. His own feeling came out when fighting criminals. Batman��s mistake was not giving Jason time and therapy before throwing him in the world of Robin. He didn’t get to think about the loss of his mother or father. His mind was so focused and overworked on education (which he excelled in) being Robin, detective work, being Bruce’s son, he never got time to pause and heal.
Jason’s mother was found by the neighbors of the apartment they lived in after she started stinking. An unfortunate end.
Arkhamverse redhood does sometimes think about his parents. Sure it’s sad but he can’t necessarily find it in himself to feel sad. There wasn’t a connection there and there was an emptiness there. He also has so much more trauma on top of his parents. The joker, Batman, all the other things.
Currently he’s trying to heal. He’s had some time nowadays to settle. He’s had a few mental breakdowns. He’s so out of sorts. Full on crying, heaving breaths, all of it. Over everything, there is so much pain there isn’t a distinction. He’s trying to go to therapy and figure it all out but it’s hard. Therapy is great but no amount of therapy could change his mistrust, jumpy moments, nightmares, and PTSD. Sure it could suppress them but they always come back. Especially with his kind of trauma.

I think they might actually be crossbreeds between Ice Drakes and whoever other ancestors were!
I think crossbreeds specifically and not just Drakes turning humanoid, since 1) Ancient Dragons only became "human" to bridge the gap and help mortals to use dragon communion or tap on their powers, the cases seemed to be very singular when Zamor are folks 2) We have no evidence that Drakes could become "human" just like Ancient Dragons 3) Zamor don't drop dragon hearts, even boss variant and 4) Then why would not they turn back into Dragons for war with the Fire Giants? The process is reversible, since Lansseax is now a dragon again despite having assumed human form before!
Also, one of the things I like in Elden Ring is their display of how treacherous political allyship is! There is a Zamor hero that is imprisoned in an Evergaol and even drops Radagon's Scarseal, but even regular Zamor have shackles!

It feels like Erdtree stomped them out later despite them and Ice Drakes having been allies during war against Fire Giants, and it isn't hard to guess why: because they allied with Ancient Dragons later, who encouraged hunting Drakes and eating their hearts!

Theodorix, one of the Trolls that fought by Erdtree, did become a wyrm, which implies he consumed MANY dragon hearts... and his location suggests they were Ice Drakes. Of course Zamor, with their close ties with Ice Drakes, would rebel against such turn of events. Maybe they even were offered a """choice""" to not stand in the way for those seeking Dragon Communion but disagreed to just be fence sitters at the expense of their relatives and were stomped out too.

Out of curiosity, has there been any consideration for releasing more designs in a different colorway for the mini skirt vs the midi skirt (like the strawberry mini having a yellow background while the midi was blue)? I know minis are done for the year but just thinking ahead to potential future minis. I read in the most recent newsletter that the mini skirts aren’t selling well; in my case, I absolutely LOVE most of the minis that were released recently, but I had already bought that design in midi form and the length difference wasn’t enough for me to justify buying both versions—but if the colors were different, even just the background color, it would be a whole different story, because the mini could be paired with things that the midi might not look as good with and vice versa, which would make me more likely to buy both. I’m curious to hear thoughts from other fans/customers if that’s a common sentiment or if I’m an outlier? And what are your team’s thoughts on this? I love what y’all do and I selfishly want as many different skirts as I can get my hands on!
it depends on the design!
when skirts are designs, the assets (like the strawberries) are made with a certain background color in mind and usually the artist has a pretty strong vision about that. we do test prints with multiple background colors but usually there are, at most, 1-2 top contenders or there is just 1 plain and clear best option.
the strawberry mini was an unusual case where we felt we had 3-4 really strong options and after getting our test prints i fell head over heels with the yellow variant. we were able to depart this much from the default color (the light blue) in part because the colors in the strawberry design were a little more versatile/less tinted to the background color and also because we were looking specifically to give blue skirts a break for a bit.
from 2020-2022 blue skirts were consistently our best sellers, especially the dark blue ones, but those sales tapered off and we decided to steer away from blue for a bit, which enabled us to be more adventurous with our test print colors. usually test prints are done because digital color and printed color can be wildly different and we want to make sure the background colors of our skirts not only match the art well, but are also something people can build an outfit around and are likely to want to wear.
for instance, the original green chosen for the background of the wildflowers skirt printed completely gray because it was just too desaturated and while the digital color looked like a nice, subtle, deep green, the printed color was completely off. we got test prints for i think 6-7 colors, most of them various shades of green, before choosing the best option.
so there may be some instances in the future where there can be different color ways for a design between mini and midi—especially if, like the yellow strawberries, it’s a color that’s much more difficult to sell on a midi—but i don’t think it will become our default practice. as much as there may be people like you who would buy minis in new color ways, there will also be people who would fall in love with the original color way and be angry or disappointed when we chose a different color for the mini version.

today on Grailfinders we’re building the best argument for a completely superfluous Grailfinders episode, Sakamoto Ryouma (Lancer)! it’s Sakamoto, but again! in-game it’s a stronger version of the original, but here we take all the builds to level twenty regardless of their rarity. what I could do to differentiate this build from the first stumped me for a while, but I think I’ve hit on something.
Ryouma’s still an Echo Knight Fighter to summon his wife as a bonus action, but now instead of a monk and a rogue, he’s a Lore Bard to learn some buffing spells for oryou’s super-saiyan mode.

Ancestry & Background
I won’t bore you too much here, it’s exactly the same as before (except for one thing). Variant Human, so that’s +1 Wisdom and Charisma, Stealth proficiency, and instead of that UA feat we’re getting Magic Initiate for some Druid spells. Primal Savagery is how oryou will be attacking most of the time now, using her acidic claws instead of your piddly strength score. you also embrace modern technology like weather stations with Druidcraft, and Oryou can keep you safe thanks to her Protection from Evil and Good. Ryouma’s still a Soldier though, so that’s some History and Intimidation proficiency for you.
Ability Scores
this one’s 100% the same. highest to lowest- Charisma, Dexterity, Wisdom, Intelligence, Constitution, Strength. I would love to be able to stat up oryou this time around, but sadly Ryouma’s still the main servant.
Class Levels
1. Fighter 1: this Ryouma’s a bit more martial since he’s a knight class, so he’s starting off as a Fighter. this means his starting proficiencies are completely different, getting proficiency in Strength and Constitution saves, as well as Insight to see through political bullshit and Animal Handling to stretch the definition of “animal” to its breaking point. and “handling”, for that matter.
also, starting as a fighter gets us oryou’s Fighting Style earlier, so pick up Unarmed Fighting, just in case those claws don’t work out. if you’d rather grab something for Ryouma, I’d just go with Two-weapon Fighting and reflavor a rapier as a light spear, with a shortsword in his off-hand.
you also get a Second Wind once a short rest, giving you back some HP as a bonus action thanks to the power of oryou’s healing spit. …she does really have healing spit, right? I didn’t just hallucinate that while forcing my way through the event?
2. Fighter 2: second level fighters can make an Action Surge once a short rest, adding an action to your turn so you can fight like there’s two of you. because there is.
3. Fighter 3: as a third level fighter you become an Echo Knight, letting you Manifest Echo as a bonus action. now oryou can float around in her own space without using your action to move, as long as she’s within 30’ of you whenever your turn ends. it has a good AC but only one HP, so expect to spend your bonus action bringing oryou back a lot. while she’s out you can swap places as a bonus action, and you can attack and make attacks of opportunity from her space. primal savagery doesn’t count as an attack for this, so I guess oryou’s relying on her fists when she’s not hanging around you. that’s disappointing, but we’ll find a way to make her awesome later on.
also, you can Unleash Incarnation once a day to make an extra attack from the echo’s position. if you want to let oryou use a dex weapon, I won’t tell anyone, promise.
4. Bard 1: bouncing over to bard gives you proficiency in Persuasion, as well as the ability to cast Spells using your Charisma. you can also give Bardic Inspiration to your allies Charisma Modifier times per day, letting them add a d6 to any one attack roll, save, or check they make in the minute after you hand it over.
to be more specific about spells, you have Blade Ward to be protected by oryou physically with resistance to weapon damage, and Mage Hand to have her carry random stuff around, for your cantrips. you also get spells like Distort Value to be a smooth-talking bastard that can convince a whole town to sell him their rice supply, Heroism to make everyone else more ardent supporters of restoration, Feather Fall so oryou can save your frail ass from falling, and Thunderwave so she can punch people so hard they go flying.
5. Bard 2: second level bards are Jacks of All Trades, so now you’re at least half-proficient in every skill. you also have a Song of Rest, so you can add more health to your party over short rests. your gf with one hit point will be grateful.
you can also use Unseen Servant now; in case you need to send oryou off on some errands. a vastly, vastly weaker version of oryou, but an oryou none the less.
6. Bard 3: third level bards can learn up on some Lore, giving you an extra three proficiencies, like in Deception, Arcana, and Athletics. this is still Ryouma after all, did you think I’d forget deception? this is also the level you get Expertise in two skills, doubling your proficiency bonus in Insight and Persuasion.
you also get second level spells like Gift of Gab. Ryouma’s good with words, but you probably aren’t. at least, not as good as he is. with this spell you can undo any unfortunate wordings and rewrite your last six seconds of dialogue.
when you want painful dialogue, you can use Cutting Words to spend inspiration on weakening a creature’s attack, check, or damage roll. if your wife only has 1 HP, she’ll need some protecting too. only a little.
7. Bard 4: fourth level bards finally get an Ability Score Improvement, so you can bump up your Dexterity for better spearing an better dodging.
you also learn the Friends cantrip to force your way into conversations, and the Aid spell for our first taste of healing. is giving your echo an extra 5 HP a good use of a spell? god no. could it be cool? maybe! at least you can also give that buff to a couple other friends at the same time.
8. Bard 5: at fifth level you are a Font of Inspiration, so your inspiration dice refill on short rests as well as long ones. they’re also d8s now, so they’re more effective over-all. on top of that, you get third level spells like Mass Healing Word to top off the whole party in one go.
9. Bard 6: sixth level bards get Countercharm, but that’s pretty much useless, we’re here for Additional Magical Secrets, a feat that I will never get tired of pointing out comes before the first magical secrets. basically, you get two extra spells, and they can be from any spell list. use Tidal Wave to send a little splashback at your enemies, and Primal Savagery again to use charisma instead of wisdom. it’s still tied to just you, but now we’re using your good casting modifier.
for his normal spell Sakamoto gets Motivational Speech, a slightly more offense-based heroism, because by this point Acquisitions Incorporated might as well be bankrolling this build.
10. Bard 7: seventh level bards get fourth level spells, and now oryou can finally set off completely on her own with the help of the spells Phantasmal Killer.  every turn the target has to make a wisdom save or they’ll take psychic damage. real simple, but real effective.
11. Bard 8: use this ASI to bump up your Charisma for stronger spells and more inspiration, and now you can Charm Monsters. I mean, you already charmed one!
12. Bard 9: ninth level bards have a better song of rest, and you can also use fifth level spells like Scrying. literally just. send oryou off to spy on people.
13. Bard 10: tenth level bards have d10s for inspiration, plus another round of Expertise! now you’ve got better animal handling and deception. you also get Thunderclap for a free oryou punch, and another round of Magical Secrets!
now you can Summon Draconic Spirit for a full oryou summoning with much more than 1 HP. they get a bunch of resistances, and she even shares one of them with you! on top of that even at the lowest level you can cast it at, oryou will be able to make three attacks each turn! if you just want uppies, you can use Freedom of the Winds to get a piggyback ride from oryou, giving you a flight speed, as well as advantage against being grappled, restrained, or paralyzed. oryou can also yeet you away from an incoming attack or spell, and if you land outside of its range, you take no damage. of course, this also means your ride is over.
14. Bard 11: remember how I mentioned Ryouma conned a whole town out of their food? now it’s time to use it. Heroes’ Feast gives everyone who partakes a panacea against disease and poison, immunity to poison and being frightened, advantage on wisdom saves, and increased HP, all for 24 hours. this is the benefit of being a 5 star.
15. Bard 12: use your last bardic ASI to receive the Gift of the Metallic Dragon. with this, you can cast Cure Wounds once a day for free or by spending spell slots, and oryou can shield you or your allies as a reaction, adding your proficiency bonus to their AC, and you can do that proficiency times a day.
16. Bard 13: thirteenth level bards get seventh level spells like Etherealness. for up to eight hours you can travel around the ethereal plane without having to worry about anything on the material plane, creatures or objects. this seems out of place for Ryouma, but tbf literally every servant should have this spell.
17. Bard 14: at level fourteen your Peerless Skills lets you add inspiration dice to any ability check you make. you’re two people, you should roll like two people. well, one and a half. you both have your weaknesses and it evens out.
you also get one last round of Magical Secrets, turning yourself into oryou in one of two ways! if you want raw power, Tenser’s Transformation gives you plenty of extra health and stronger attacks, but if you want a more thematic transformation, there’s always Draconic Transformation, giving you blindsight, a breath weapon, and wings.
18. Fighter 4: going back to fighter gets you yet another ASI, so bump up your Dexterity for more lancing.
19. Fighter 5: fifth level fighters get an Extra Attack each attack action, that’s two per turn, four with action surge, and up to five with unleash incarnation. sorry it took so long to get this, I just felt the dragon stuff was higher priority.
20. Fighter 6: fighters are awesome, so we get to end this build with another ASI! this time we’re getting the Gift of the Chromatic Dragon, allowing you to add elemental damage to your weapon for up to a minute, and you can react to gain resistance to one instance of elemental damage proficiency times a day. now oryou protects you from everything!
Pros & Cons
Pros:
you have a lot of Protection, so actually getting a solid hit in on you is tough. you have a pretty good AC, plus many, many ways to increase your AC or your save or reduce incoming damage.
you’re also great outside of combat, with tons of expertise in social skills, high charisma, and a way to add even more dice to your skill checks. you will definitely be the face of the party. either you or oryou, at least.
I know I bring this up every time, but flying is awesome. it nullifies most enemies, and it’s just a really cool way to get around.
Cons:
you need all that protection because you’re a politician, not a fighter. you have barely over 100 HP, so a sneeze will put you into power word kill range.
echo knight is super fun, but this time it’s hard to use in combat for us, since oryou’s in-character options for hitting anything are “attack with a -1 to hit” or “hope the DM is kind enough to bend the rules for you.” without a good way to deal damage, the echo knight stuff is just an easily popped balloon.
our biggest goals don’t happen until late game, so for most of the campaign your build will be more awkward than anything else.

Hello, all! I've been a burnt out recently and development is at a standstill but I wanted to share a bit about the project I've been working on. This seems like a good place as any to monologue into the void, so here it is:
Breakdown: Lorcana Unofficial is a single-player desktop application for building and playing with a collection of digital Lorcana cards against AI opponents in challenges and campaigns. You begin the game with 30 cards of 2 different colors (total 60, your choice of colors) and can build with whatever cards you unlock afterward.
Features: Card Browser - This program originally started as a fun way to look up cards and get some analysis and fun facts about how those cards related in the pool of available options. You can search by name or other criteria to narrow things down to the perfect cards. Card lookups also feature a Collection Tracker, so you can tally how many of each variant you own in your physical collections.
Deck Builder - Card searching gets extra mileage here in the deck builder, where you can load and save combinations of your cards however you like. There are no restrictions on deck-building (amount, color, etc), and all decks you design are saved locally.
Card Shop & Currency - One of the most fun things about a TCG is opening booster packs. The card shop comes with this option, and also randomly rolls 4 cards that aren't currently present in your collection, to give you some control over your buying power (all currency is in-game currency, earned through playing the game!).
Campaigns & The Game - Lorcana seems to be designed with a story in mind, and I built my program with the goal of allowing players to follow those stories. To that end, each campaign has levels to follow with plenty of challenges for the player to pit their cards against. Everything is tracked and displayed automatically, letting you focus on the flow of the game rather than the intricacies of remembering every single rule. Go forth and become the best Illumineer you can be!
Scalability: The game intends to release new sets fairly consistently, and as such, the program is designed in a way that allows me to update cards and campaigns without interfering with existing save data. :)
Other: Thanks to being an indie dev and agent of chaos I could potentially add any card I wanted (imaginary or otherwise) to this system, allowing for absolutely zany AI challenges or broken options for the player to use. Just something to think about (I think about Sephiroth a lot, he's kind of Disney canon, right?). Special thanks to VintageCCG's card creator for already inspiring a wealth of amazing community ideas for this game.

TheLreads, Vigilantes ch 108, Replies Part 1
1) “Shit’s about to get real and I’m over here praying that Furuhashi doesn’t let me down, on Chapter 108: The Variant.”-Well, Nomura’s certinaly getting more hits in than he was before….but only as long as Koichis conscious self is in the driver’s swat. Once control slips over to “the other guy”, it don’t matter how fast you are, Koichi’s untouchable. In a way, this is a battle between a guy who has tons of attack options trying to improvise the one that’d slip through the defences of a guy with a single, but very versatile defensive option.
2) “And we open up with koichi looking dumbstruck, as usual.
He’s like “bro I don’t think that’s normal, what about we stop fighting and you go see a doctor?””- His body already knows what it takes to survive Nomura’s strikes, so it’s getting ready to turn off that pesky interfering grey matter at a moment’s notice.
3) “Oh McBee, you definitely jinxed it, now he’s gonna be faster even after that massive upgrade. What a shame this one-winged angel form already failed.”- Well, not specifically faster – Nomura does get a few good hits in- but when it comes to unleashing the lethal attacks, the sense of danger overwhelms Koichi’s mind to a region wherein thoughts don’t matter, and his body just does what needs to happen to dodge it. The longer he stays in that region, the more aware of it and controllable it becomes, which is why Nomura needs to end the fight rather than dragging it out…but Koichi’s very good at time-wasting.
4) “OH AND THERE WE GO
ALRIGHT FURUHASHI, I’LL GIVE YOU ONE MORE CHANCE, SHOW US SOME GOOD STUFF, ALL THE INGREDIENTS ARE HERE, JUST COOK SOME GOOD MEAL OKAY?”- I like how the speech-bubble was left behind where he was to indicate how fast he’s moving – and indeed, for all the thinking quickly that allows both of them to mentally monologue for a bit in this chapter, neither one actually converses with the other for the whole of it until the end, moving too fast for words to keep up. 5) “But not so fast you didn’t notice him bolting right beside you”- Seeing as Koichi doesn’t really move his eyes or anything to look at Nomura, I see this as his inbuilt instincts making him aware of where Nomura’s gone even if his eyes can’t keep up- sorta like a “zoom-out” effect. 6) “I mean guy, c'mon, if you’re that fast there was no reason to go past him and try to attack him from behind

Why do you refuse to kill him unless you’re behind him?”- Nomura figures Koichi will possibly react a crucial half-second slower if he’s attacked in a manner that he can’t see coming, which he can use to land a devastating wound. He’s trying to maximise as much of his speed as possible by limiting the chances for Koichi to perceive him…which doesn’t work because Koichi’s “danger sense” allows him to understand where Nomura is even if he doesn’t really “see” him clearly. 7) “okay so that was less than one page before Koichi managed to catch up to his speed. Good job dude.
Sure, I can’t tell if he’s using Overclock there, it at least doesn’t look like it, but I don’t see a reason for him to not use everything he got since we are this desperate to win”- He needs a little time to start kicking the engine up to higher gears, starting fast, then getting faster and faster.
8) “C'mon McBee, you can do better than this. Spit fire at him since you look like a demon now, do something, it doesn’t look like you’re that faster.”- Still in “low Gear” mode, needs some time (ironically) for the higher revolutions to kick in.
9) “Oh now we’re talking! He managed to get a hit in before Koichi could even dodge or defend himself, now we’re starting to see some good shit”- Nomura decides he’d rather throws heads than hands this time.
10) “I was only half-joking there, but I am glad he’s throwing it down like a beast, this is what I was waiting for”-Nomura unleashed his inner animal…but all it does is bring out Koichi’s inner animal instinct in response, allowing him to counter without thought slowing him down. For all that Nomura’s faster-thinking than anybody else, he’s finally found an opponent who just acts faster than his body can move.
11) “now we’re gonna get some real mileage out of overclock, although now he’s acting like an animal, so the quirk is not as effective when it comes to planning his next move”- Given how his “plans” have gone so far, that actually works in his favour. To beat Koichi, Nomura needed to discard thinking as well, and just attack however his inner animal wanted to. 12) “Yeah Koichi, you had it good for too long, especially those two years when nothing important happened. Now it’s time to get your shit kicked in so you can rise as a better hero. Time to learn through pain, and by god is this gonna be a hell of a lecture.”- The more Nomura hurts him, the more Koichi comes to grips with in true potential, and starts mastering it to hold off his foe’s increased tenacity. By now, Koichi’s already reached the level of being an effective pro-hero, capable of fighting on the level of somebody like Aizawa, and at the rate he’s going, his Quirk mastery by the fight’s end would put him above any other threat he’s faced over the course of this whole story.
13) “DAMMIT DUDE YOU JUST SHOW UP TO RUIN THE FUN DON’T YOU?
WHY DON’T YOU MAKE LIKE THE REAL KNUCKLES AND FUCK OFF TO THE CONVENIENCE STORE? LET McBEE DO SOMETHING WORTHWHILE”- Indeed, going with the whole “thinking slows you down” aspect to this fight, the minute O’clock Tulpa speaks up, the battle starts going against Nomura as his thoughts are distracted mid-attack, whereas Koichi’s own movements become faster as “the other guy” steps in. @thelreads

“HOW DOES MOBILE APPS BECOME PART OF MY DAILY LIFE?”

Given that we currently live in the modern era. Anyone has access to the internet through their smartphones, which are truly important to people's everyday tasks nowadays. It can be used for a wide range of purposes, including education, online businesses, and many other things, where it can be applied as fundamental information to many facets of life.
I can't deny that I still have many things to learn about the course I have been chosen for, even if I decided to pursue a degree in information and communications technology and become a teacher soon. Although it may be difficult to evolve, I hope to see an exciting future, five years or ten years from now on. My aim is to provide important information to my incoming students regarding the significance of using mobile apps and the possible advantages as well as disadvantages that may occur for them.
And now for the very interesting part. I created this blog because I was interested to discuss some of mobile apps that I use the most and provide honest feedback based on my experience dealing those apps carefully and using them in the right manner. Let us start and see! 😁👀
Here's the list of my TOP 10 MOBILE APPS THAT I AM USING IN MY EVERYDAY LIFE:

Facebook is the leading app I am using everyday. Why? Because, I discovered that I could socialize with people using this app in many ways other than face-to-face interactions, such as reacting and commenting to their posts, sharing memes that I saw on newsfeeds and could apply to my real-life status, joining various group pages to share my knowledge, selling things that can generate a profit and starting a business, and a ton of other freely made things.
Google comes in second. This app is already available on all cellphones that you could purchase. However, when it comes to complete my schoolwork and other assignments on time, that's when it becomes resourcefulness for me. I should not really 100% trusted this app, because, there are some things aren't true to know or can be lead into “misinformation” like in the website of Wikipedia. That's why, sometimes, I love to do my self-tasks alone.
The Messenger, the third one. It was an app that linked to Facebook, making it simpler to send messages to people you knew. I have been using this to connect with my teacher and classmates ever since the pandemic. It can't be access whenever I'm offline but, there's another variant of this app which is called, “Messenger Lite” that even basic mode can still access. Unlike the regular version, I guess.
The next one is YouTube. Through this app, I can watch the daily news that I couldn't watch on TV, to gather an additional information about the lessons in school I think it's hard to be understood, have a good time to watch those missed music videos that came from my favorite artists and so much more things to do.
For the fifth place, Spotify is always there at my phone to save me every time. When I listen to songs out there, it makes me heal from everything I pissed off. But, unfortunately, data or Wi-Fi is needed for this app. That's why sometimes, I listen to my download songs playlist. Whenever I don't have an internet to be used it. This kind of music streams is the best app that I had in my whole life and also, you can subscribe for its premium version (just optional only, if you want to remove ads while having a sound trip alone or with your family everywhere, especially, at home).
The two apps next to Spotify are named, “Microsoft Office 365” and “Canva.” Both are eligible to be used and finished on time, the tasks you want to overcome in everyday life. It makes me assist like an instructor that you can learn a lot from these two apps. That's why, I'm thankful that they created a superior & perfect app for every person who have a struggling problems that unable to solve when it comes to work that include time management.
The eighth one is “Google Chrome” that designed to be that's fastest web browser. With one click, it loads web pages, multiple tabs, and applications with lightning speed. Whenever I'm using this app, there will be always ads popping up. So, as a result, I easily annoyed sometimes but, we can't deny the fact that ads is everywhere, even for those online gamers can relate. As what I said, it allows me to set up tabs as many as I can, just in case I needed those pages.
While, the two left apps on my list are called, “MVLE Mobile” and “Google Classroom.” These two educational purpose apps makes me help to fulfill the tasks that I should be finished on time. Aside from that, they're lessons can pin and students can able to download it then, having a takes notes. So, just in case, our instructors may ask some questions about the lessons we read about the learning materials s/he has given through online access.

As I end of my discussion about my experience that I shared here to those TOP 10 mobile apps that I am usually using everyday. I gained a lot of knowledge to them and since everything we use nowadays are related to technology. We can't force ourselves to be able silence but, to inform other people these apps are having an advantages and disadvantages at the same time. But, I would like to say that, “Be a responsible mobile apps user, especially when you're in social media. Think hard first before you click anything, not everything you may see are true. Just be careful with yourself and others that may affect, if ever you do wrongdoings that's not acceptable in our society.”

House-Rules for the Campaign
During our session 0 I had come up with several house rules for the group to agree on. These were all the ones the players agreed to.
Alternative Alignment system (I'm proposing Discipline vs Harmony and Light vs Dark. So alignments would be Light/Shadow/Dark and Discipline/Balance/Harmony). Positive/Negative damage would remain unchanged. Alignment Damage (Good/Lawful/Chaotic/Evil would become Radiant/Karmic/Dark Damage. Note: This results in a small damage buff to classes that use those damages as they will do damage normally.
Automatic Bonus Progression (Characters gain bonuses to their stats based on their level rather than the gear that they acquire).
Modern Wealth System (In order to reflect the complexity of modern finances, detailed elsewhere, abstracts a person’s wealth and possessions and reduces precise book-keeping. This is adapted from d20 modern, and I feel works really well with how PF2E handles items and item levels.)
Hero Points can be used to increase a success by one tier (turning a normal hit into a critical hit, a failed hit into a normal hit, or a critically failed save into a failed save instead of rerolling).
The +1 to hit from Potency Runes/Automatic Bonus Progression apply to spell attacks. (A common criticism of PF2e is that spells using spell attack are weaker than spells that require saves, and even weaker relative to weapon attacks. This closes that parity a little bit as martial characters still have faster bonus progression than casters and makes these spells a little more attractive)
Gradual Ability Boosts, rather than getting 4 +2 to your stats at level 5, you get a +2 at levels 2-5 (must be to different stats), then repeat this at levels 7-10, 12-15, and 17-20.
Free Archetypes Variant (Automatically able to get multiclass feats for free at every even level. Increases build diversity without compromising your core class abilities. A buff for characters in general).
Can draw a weapon as part of a stride action if you are at least trained in the use of the weapon (essentially how drawing weapons work from PF1E. It does lower the value of Quick Draw and unarmed attacks slightly, although I think it does help dual-wielders a little bit. Improves an action economy that’s already strict and honestly doesn’t feel good sometimes).
Ignoring Formulas for common items (This is really to pair with the wealth system, requiring formulas just seems redundant when information is common. One of the biggest obstacles in adapting the D20 modern wealth system was how to handle crafting. What I settled on was that, since D20 Modern’s wealth system normally uses a wealth check to purchase items, that one could use a crafting check instead. The costs or times to purchase don’t really change, but crafting can make it easier to pass the checks to buy the items if your character doesn’t have a ton of money. However, to create higher rarity/bespoke items, spending time designing formulas for these items or following someone else’s formula still feels appropriate). 1. How does your OC feel about their Doppel? Do they spend magic recklessly because they know they won’t become a Witch, or are they afraid of their inner darkness? I wouldn’t say “recklessly,” but I’m not so worried about it anymore. I mean, not that I was particularly worried before. When I made my Contract, I had this idea in my head that changing Witches back into Magical Girls would mean double the energy, so I guess that's what led to my strange power.
2. Your OC just arrived in Kamihama. Yachiyo shows up and tells them they need to leave, or else she’ll fight them to see if they’re strong enough to stay. How does your OC react? I tell her about my double energy theory and that I’m here investigating on Kyubey’s behalf. “If the rumor of being saved in this city proves my theories true, maybe the fate of Magical Girls won’t be so bad.”
3. Your OC is fighting a difficult Witch. It’s getting dangerous– your OC could die at any moment. Do they try to run away or fight? How do they react? "You have to run. No one would blame you if you did. I certainly wouldn't. You'd be taking a chance I never got." "No. It's what Kyubey would have wanted…" "But what about what you want? Are you really ready to join me, sweetheart?…"
4. Your OC is eating at Banbanzai! What do they think of the food? I feel like my score wouldn’t be fair, since it’d be my first time actually eating Chinese food. An order of fried biscuits is worth way more than 50 points tho
5. A Grief Seed drops, and another stubborn Magical Girl tries to fight your OC over it. Both of you are in danger of becoming a Witch. What does your OC do? "Here. Take it. I know he'd want me to go on without him, but if my time has come, then my time has come. Who knows? Maybe I can last a little longer…"
6. What school would your OC go to if they lived in Kamihama? N/A
7. Your OC fell asleep and somehow landed in medieval France! How do they react to Tart and co? Do they want to join up with the villains instead? I don’t do a lot of talking with anyone there, but if they don’t keep an eye on me, I’m bound to get into a few stand-offs with Lapine, since we both have the same wish-related power.
8. Your OC is going to get an Variant Alt! What kind of Alt is it? Halloween? April Fools? Christmas? Something else? I’d love to have an Easter alt where I’m a bunny girl nun, probably a Light Attribute. Or a Jekyll and Hyde-inspired Dark alt for Halloween! Oh, but Kyoko's Doppel alt is really cool, too~
9. What character in the game would your OC be able to trust most easily? Once I've learned about her wish-given power? Yachiyo. It would put me at ease knowing that, should anything happen to me, I'll live on in good hands.
10. It’s time to use your OC’s Magia! What is it called and what does it do?
I Can't Call You Mine "When will he die? When, oh when, will he die?… It's all your fault, every last one of you! How could you… let this… happen?… Grrh… Y’see what happens when you CAN’T! STOP! LAUGHING?!”
Single-target Magia that Dazzels and Curses the enemy (turn number equal to Magia LV), gives the team Addict Killer for 3 turns, and gives me Flame Attribute Attack UP for 3 turns, but Stuns me for 1.

Alrighty so there's too many replies for me to go through all of them so I'm just gonna reply to what I've seen so far and then maybe mute notifs on this for a while.
1. Those of you have been using your nonTTRPG OCs or mixing in a few oneshot characters or characters you were invested in even if the campaign only lasted 3 sessions... I love your defiance, good on you.
1a. To the person who said that they always DM and so their party would have all the villains they've used, including Tiamat. You're the best DM reply to this post. Rock on.
2. Those of you who say "Well, I have one character who fits that qualification, so party of one" you have my sympathy and I hope you get to play more!
3. To all the folks who have said something along the lines of "character A would be the exact kind of found family character B needs!" or some other variant of their characters forming a found family... you're correct. Good job, you're doing it right.
4. To all the folks who have said something along the lines of their characters becoming romantic, or sexual, or some secret similar thing, especially the person who described their party as a lesbian orgy... you're correct. Good job, you're doing it right.
5. To all the folks who enthusiastically claim their characters would be at each other's throats in an instant, who would end up in the messiest, most explosive or implosive party you've ever seen. Parties that would result in death before the antagonist first showed up? ... You're correct. Good job, you're doing it right.
and 6! To all the "forever DMs" out there. You're not a forever DM, you have forever players. Ask them if you didn't run the game, would there be a game to play? If no... that's fucking sad. One of them needs to give you a damn break. You can't be expected to make dinner every night forever, so why DM forever?
Show your players Matt Colville's Running the Game series, just the first five episodes. Running the game can be easy! and fun! Tear down their excuses!
Don't know the rules well enough? I know a guy who played something like Runequest back in the early 90s with one out of three corebooks for years and had loads of fun. You don't have to know the rules, focus on fun, learn the rules as you go, most of the systems out there that are as complex as DnD? No one can hold the entire corpus of the rules in their brains anyway.
Not creative enough? The plot of three books series and like four video games are all happening in my campaign setting in the background because I don't want to come up with my own plots. Touhou 6 could just start happening in my campaign setting and no one would care, they'd be hyped to fight a vampire! Take things you like and put them in your game! That's before we even start running modules.
Don't feel good at roleplaying? so many times in my games that I run, I will forgo doing the voice and just say "this character expresses this idea with this emotion" and that's still roleplaying and people like it just fine. I sometimes have to say to my players, fellow players or who im running for, that "I'm going to embarrass myself" and then just recklessly throw myself at a silly voice to call it roleplay, because I'm having fun with it, and sometimes saying that I'm making a fool of myself is enough to get myself in the headspace to roleplay without shame, even if I don't think I'm doing it well. Sometimes I have to pause and say "how would this character reply to that..." or just say "I'm not sure how my character would word this, but I would word it like this" ... roleplaying is just pushing the character around the stage, and the cost of doing it a bit wrong? is not really anything bad!
Honestly the only reason I find as valid for someone not running TTRPGs is that they simply don't want to, which is unfathomable to me as someone who was nashing my teeth to try to throw myself behind the screen and get to it, to demystify it, to crash that gate no matter how gatekept it is... and I wanna keep smashing that gate, to let as many people into the GM chair as possible, because if you want to run but don't feel able, that's the worst thing I can imagine in this hobby, outside of things that are bad regardless of if they happen in or out of the hobby. Also more GMs is good for the health of the hobby in general. I want as many people to get behind the screen and say "wait, that's it? what was all the hype about" because I really think that people overhype how hard running a game is.
I ask my players to help me plan when game will be, because acting as producer for my game in addition to writer and director is really hard for me, but we work as a group, find a date and time, and then the game is set and we start playing every week or every other week as we can, because I was about to offload the stuff I find really difficult onto my players, they helped me. You can do the same with your group, with whatever challenges you.
My real real advice for DMs is like, treat your players how you would want to be treated, let them come up with solutions you wouldn't have, ask them to respect you the same way you would respect a DM, talk about expectations, solve your disagreements by talking them out respectfully, know how to interact with other people on a basic level because this is a social game, don't be afraid to speak your mind if something bothers you... uh... yeah. Basic stuff probably.
Anyway I went on for a while on that so uh... thanks for reading!
And I mean characters that you've put time into, not ones for oneshots or campaigns that sputtered out. Ones that you've had for a few levels, or whatever system equivalent you have.

I ended up playing more SoTE after a break of several days, actually some interesting progress but also two-parter!
1) Went to Scorpion River catacoms on accident while trying to explore that interesting area with RED Kindred of Rot, and was lowkey disappointed.. because it is a repetitive one. :/ I believed the previous catacomb featuring Godwyn lore was unique! But this one's purpose is to give you another Knight of Death weapon and another variant of talisman by Godwyn @ his Knights! 🙄

^....and also another Messmer's Knight Spirit Ash variant, when Andreas is the hammer-wielder variant! Though the bit about personal attachment by Messmer is a cool one! Same unique ash energy as Ogha or Finlay I suppose
2) Okay MAYBE this catacomb wasn't THAT repetitive since it featured unique mechanics of goddamn Basylisk statues shooting THESE GODDAMN STUPID EYES

3) Also if a second person in this world exists who has weird fixation of collecting everything even if they will never use it.. do not grind the Lion-mask Imps for the helmet. They do drop their swords, but not their helmets. Their head piece is FOUND in this catacomb!
Basically it is exactly what you think - it is on one of the platforms accessed by jumping on the spikey plate as soon as it got down and then getting down fast enough when it moves! Just boost your death resistance here since it is in the room with the rocky bridge!
4) Okay so after that I finally decided to go to the Finger Ruins now that I've learned it was accessible by normal means!!! That was so cool! Really large place with many nooks though;;
5) At first I thought these were snakes with arms and legs, but no! They're lampreys!

6) Whereas most of these enemies sorcerer (?) variants used the spell I wasn't familiar with, one of them was using exactly the same purple spell as ringed Fingercreepers use! I took screenshots of it and usually when I have to screenshot something too fast for the phone I just then take a picture of THE screenshot on my phone gfghvv This time I forgot, but yes I still got it on PS! This is really interesting though? I wonder whether lamprey people adopted it from Fingercreepers, or, since only ringed Fingercreepers can use that spell it were lampreys that taught them and gave them a catalyst!
7) I was running around the area for a while instead of getting straight to the point, staring at these formations wondering whether they are cracked eggs (of lamprey?) or the fingers:

I assume that they are the latter by now! They in many places look like they are digging out of the earth, they vary in sizes and often look multilayered more than cracked! Also since these giant fingers are also rocky and are shown broken sometimes!
8) This is actually really funny how there are canonically characters that were obsessed with researching Fingercreepers to the point of insanity, considering how I kept breaking my mind trying to figure them out at least four times gfhbbbgfb

So he gave me a map and the talisman, and then had new dialogue about Marika and Miquella, further explaining how Erdtree thing was corrupt / doomed to rot from the start to explain why Miquella had to remove all of it from himself to actually get anywhere! That makes drop of that talisman from the rock less random.. They've connected the dots, they've connected them.
12) I start to understand why the girls like him so much from what I've seen, this guy really thinks on some other plane x)
13) The talisman that he gave also reminded me of Sellen's monologue about primeval current and how everyone were children of the stars after all and needed to return to them!

Honestly that stuff was one of my favourite niches to think about, and what I did not expect from the DLC was returning to these themes! Feels very comfy! Like, I got something I did not even ask for only because I didn't even hope for elaboration :')
14) He also could teach two new spells after this, that are basically just variants of one another:

I haven't tested them yet, but sorcerer lamprey in the Finger Ruins were using these sorceries I believe! They were also pale blue and ricochetting!
15) After that I of course wanted to get to the next Finger Ruins already, so I asked @val-of-the-north how do I get to that spot on the map without passing the Shadow's Keep.. Turned out that I don't. 🤡 That is pretty much the area I've been avoiding, but yeah, I had to make my way to it now! That's on the next post though I am out of screenshot spots 🌛

the mutated mik - team fortress 2 (July 8, 2013)

the mutated milk is a reskin of the mad milk wich is a support item wich 60% of any damage dealt to affected enemies is returned to the attacker as health.it has a 20 second recharge and last from 2.5s to 10s. it is one of the beast secondary's for the scout as it provides support for the entire team. i like it becase it provides a charter like scout an opertunity to provide support other than flanking behind
2. dubstep gun - saint row 4

the dubstep gun in saint row 4 is both one of the worst and best weapon in the game as when you get one of its normal or dlc variant the weapon is just a joke weapon but as you upgrade it it becomes one of the best weapons as it has no ammo is required for the gun as it recharges and the Explosive wubs do a lot of damage which makes it one of the most powerful weapons in the game, as it is capable of easily destroying virtually any enemy in the game with only a few shots, but there are some issue with it like The weapon requires time in order to charge up and fire and the worst bit about it is The Explosive Wubs Ultimate upgrade is very expensive 50,000 for Standard and 80,000 for DLC Remix. the finle issue is that dubstep is constantly playing which could get annoying very quickly especially since i don't like dubstep but an interesting weapon concept at least.
3. grooveiton - ratchet and clank (2016)

groovitron is a support item that when deployed will stop enemies from attacking you and even will cause enemies to take more damage from your attacks and it's duration, range and damage multiplier can be upgraded over the game (i could not find stat for this weapon). i personally like this weapon as it is an interesting concept for a stun weapon.
4. cluckshot - gears of war 3 (2011)

i think having a gun like the cluckshot in a game like gears of war 3 that takes it's self so seriously. now i couldn't find much info on the gun like the others and all of the vidos where tutorials on how to get it and no demo's of weapon and the only stats i could find were these ones as well as i have never played gears of war 3

The 'rainbow' that fires is produced as a laser and can destroy anything in its path. Enemies that are killed by this ray have a tendency to explode into a group of rainbows and butterflies that quickly disperse.

Also, as someone who probably has literally over a thousand hours into FATE, it has a few other issues that prevent it from being "universal:"
1) There is very little progression. I have a character in a FATE game who has matured in some very serious ways since its beginning. I cannot mechanically reflect these changes with the refresh and skill points I have without him no longer being good at the things he needs to be good at to both continue filling his role in the game and continue being who he is as a character.
2) Stunts don't cover everything, and even the FATE variants that allow for superpowers/magic/etc can require some serious contortion to be able to do anything in the way a universal RPG would claim to
3) It's very easy for a few gamist issues to derail the narrative. In multiple games I've played in and run, a character putting their Athletics skill at four or five made most combats basically impossible to lose by conventional methods of violence, and it gets really narratively unsatisfying when a character loses multiple combats because someone said mean words to them. This is also true of other skills, depending on your system and setting, though they cause problems in other ways (e.g. Using Dresden FATE, a character with a high discipline becomes nigh on immune to the special mental abilities of the setpiece monster for your campaign, requiring you to either tune it to their discipline and kill the fuck out of the other players, not do so and let the character no sell those abilities and maybe the whole fight, or inflate the monster's refresh to give it other capabilities that can threaten that character [except now Athletics is usually a problem again])
4) I tend to find that specializing in one facet of the gameplay causes you to just not be able to participate in others, which is balanced on the face of everything, but ultimately leads to your combat focused players not engaging in investigation or social encounters, your social players feeling like they can't contribute in combat, and your investigative players wishing they could do anything other than make tags after the Looking Around portion of an encounter is done.
5) This isn't immediately an issue in universality, but GOD do I hate the skill pyramid and FATE dice, and I feel like they feed into the above issue. Having skills be, on average, rated from 0-5 with a possible variance of +/-4 on the dice means that overcoming challenges even a single step higher than your skill becomes a matter of luck rather than stats. I understand that this is the point and purpose of Fate Points, but I think that's a problem rather than the solution. If you have a 1 or a 2 in a skill, you have to cross your fingers and hope to beat anything more than the most basic difficulty to create a tag, largely making these ranks of skills worthless against all but the most basic challenges as, again, your GM has to balance against the people who specialized in this shit. This comes around to damaging the universality of the game because at a certain point, if you want your character to be able to do more than two or three things reliably, FATE cannot be the system for you.
I used to really like FATE. Then I was in FATE games for a very, very long time and really got to learn how the system works. I no longer like FATE.
So what about FATE? How is it not universal as an RPG?
The biggest non-universal dimension of FATE – at least in its modern incarnations – is that it has a very strong set of baked-in assumptions about the relationship between players and player characters.
This is something I've talked about in the past; to somewhat oversimplify, there are roughly four ways for a player in a tabletop RPG to relate to their character:
The Isekai Stance: I am my character, and my character is me. I'll have my character do whatever I myself would do if I happened to be, for example, an elf wizard.
The Actor Stance: I'm an actor, and my character is my role. I'll have my character do what I feel it would be psychologically realistic for them to do under the circumstances.
The Storyteller Stance: I'm a narrator telling a story, and my character is the co-protagonist of that story. I'll have my character do whatever I feel would make for the most interesting story.
The Gamer Stance: I'm a person playing a game, and my character is my playing-piece. I'll do whatever it takes to win.
This generally isn't a useful way to classify either players or games; games typically have weak baked-in assumptions about which stance their players will adopt, and to the extent that these assumptions are present, a game may make different default assumptions for different parts of play. A common set of assumptions is actor mode outside of combat and gamer mode in combat, for example.
FATE is, of course, an exception to the rule, in that it has very strong baked-in assumptions about what stance players will adopt toward their characters, and further assumes that play will occur at least mostly in this mode. The Fate Point economy that forms the core of the gameplay loop 100% assumes that you're going to be playing in storyteller nearly all of the time – the types of decisions it's asking players to make on a moment-by-moment basis are frequently straight up unintelligible from any other perspective.
This is a big part of why suggesting FATE because it can "do anything" can go over like a lead balloon: the folks making this suggestion aren't taking into account the possibility that a given group's players may not vibe with the system's assumptions about how players relate to their characters. Storyteller-mode-all-the-time is actually a fairly uncommon group play style, and it often seems that FATE fans don't realise this!
