anyway, contrary to popular belief, Antonio is actually my favorite RP character. just in general. and i've never actually seen him live until the other day. unbeknownst to me, i was waiting for a whole year to be able to actually see him live, i think i was more excited about it than cc!anthony was 💀

which might contribute to my love for him bc i had to piece him together like a puzzle from everyone else's POVs and clips n stuff. so at first i didn't want him to come back bc i was afraid he'd be different from the Antonio i made up in my head... but then. i haven't sat n watched, at mostly full attention, a whole stream for 7 hours in a while LOL

when i watched cc!buddha's rdrp vods a year ago n saw Antonio, i thought to myself "oh no... Tony isn't actually my new muse is he...?". and for a while i didn't draw him bc i didn't have any ideas + i didn't really know how to draw him. but i did know that when i did learn how to draw him, it'd be over for me (i wouldn't want to draw anyone else, and i was right oops 😭)

my idea of Antonio is he's just a dumb, impulsive, silly little theatre kid that got wrapped up in being an outlaw bc of Wu n Dot after his house burned down. they woulda been moving around in old box cars wherever the trains took them. Dot dies before the events of WildRP(headcanon), and Wu to me, is the autistic kid that follows Antonio around bc he talks a lot n has charisma lolol. also, to me, Wu is not as evil as he was intended to be, he just follows in Sonny's footsteps who's calculated n violent. While Antonio chooses Cesare's path to be more diplomatic and focuses more on his reputation. Antonio can't win a fight to save his life, and i love him for it. he thinks he's scary n dangerous, but to me, he couldn't hurt a fly hehe. i mean, one of the first things he did in the crossing was host a talent show at the local theatre. i'm a big fan of pathetic men, what can i say.

speaking of, i love how pathetically in love he is with Renni. and i love how, despite how much they like each other, they never actually get together n still respect each other as friends. they are the embodiment of the saying "if you love something let it go, if it comes back its yours" but without the last part.. they are so tragic to me.

in the last 3.5 years of watching rp, i've never had any character or character dynamic make me cry. like, as much as i love how doomed n toxic Donnie/Lang is, i've teared up a bit, but they've never made me cry just thinking about them. but Antonio, n by extension, his relationship with Renni, has made me cry multiple times just thinking about them 😭 and yeah, i cried the other day when Antonio was thinking about Renni LOL

Adrian Graye was a St. Epiderm kid, I smell it on him💀

He was def that popular boy that all of the teachers loved, had his own posse of yes-men, dunked freshmen into trash cans, and had a fuck ass side part.

I just KNOW for fact that Adrian was an absolute ass in high school, but not in the ways that people think.

My personal head-canons for his story incoming so take what you will, but my version? Lack of attention at home. His mother began being around less and less due to some romantic fling of hers at the time, which led to Adrian being increasingly more and more alone as the years of high school bled into one another.

As he burrowed himself into his interests such as theatre, musicals, anything and everything artsy, he also began to focus on crafting and perfecting his image in high school so he wouldn’t face the same lonely and bullied fate he had in previous grades.

Adrian quickly became well liked , with his skill in illusion magic capturing some attention. Illusions were largely regarded as high-def party tricks, even in the early 2000’s, so seeing someone with such skill and talent as well as being able to see the real world application? People were stunned.

His involvement in Epiderm’s theatre troupe also gained him some popularity and favor. Even to a degree where roles were simply guaranteed for him. To a degree where he didn’t need to do much himself, where others would do it for him. While he had his own group that typically understood his mannerisms quite well, other students didn’t question him too often when he spoke of something they didn’t understand. After all he’s the cool kid right- “better just figure it out myself so he thinks I’m chill like that”

This tendency to let others carry him on and attempt to put their entire being into understanding him and his every whim crept its way into adulthood and would take a long time to unlearn.

But either way the popularity didn’t come with grace. Adrian was MEAN. Like downright brutal very often. Keeping people twirled around his finger to get them to do things for him , could range from “oh carry this for me” to “get the answer key for the final”. He was (and still is) a very judge-y individual , and while being a person who came from poverty, still didn’t hesitate to bring down others for the same, forgetting and tossing away his roots almost instantly if it meant maintaining his image. He was quick to target new students with insults, playful bullying, etc., with it even becoming a running inside joke in the school (the whole “freshmen = fresh meat” joke).

So yeah not a good dude at all, not even a dork. Just awful. In his search for attention he became quite bitter, paving the way to the Adrian we know in canon.

Roman: The answer is obvious, he’s in Drama Club. Absolute Theatre nerd.

Literally older season’s Roman made references to musicals constantly. 💀

Patton: In modern day, (or at least where I’ve been) Culinary Arts would be somewhat considered an extra carricular??? Also, he’d probably do a lot of Volunteering stuff.

Logan: Debate Club. He’s in debate club. I don’t think I even need to explain thi, it just fits him. Also Chess.

Virgil: Was probably forced to at least try out for Softball or smthn, and then he ended up being that one kid who never paid attention and started playing with the grass constantly because of the overwhelming stimulation from people yelling (me too bro, me too).

Janus: Also Debate club, and he’s ALWAYS going to be on the opposing side of Logan just so he can piss him off.

Remus: Band Kid. Look at him. You can’t tell me he wasn’t a band kid, he has so many personality traits that would point to the fact he did band. 💀

Also I think he got kicked out within three days of being there because he kept putting students heads in Tubas and purposefully breaking instruments.

So I saw the Super Mario Bros movie the other day and I have Thoughts And Opinions™ on a couple things (idk what counts as a spoiler but it's all under the 'keep reading' just to be safe) P.S.: Damn this got longer than expected 💀

First and foremost, we all know it's not a masterpiece. It's not meant to be life-changing, it's meant to be fun. It's meant to entertain kids who have little to no knowledge of the Mario Bros games AND avid Mario fans at the same time, and I think the movie managed to do it pretty well.

I've read a few comments saying they didn't like the pace, that it was weird and fast. Y'all. That's how you keep a kid's attention. Hell, that's how you keep MY attention (as someone with ADHD). It's colourful, funny, and has great upbeat songs that had the whole theatre smiling and doing little dances in their seats and even singing along! And most important: the kids were DELIGHTED, they weren't talking or walking around out of boredom AT ALL, they were completely engrossed in the movie, we all were.

And now that I've made clear I liked the movie a lot, let's move on to less favorable opinions, random thoughts and such.

They better be making a Luigi centric movie soon because what the fuck was that. Yeah I get the Main Character is Mario but you can't have Luigi 'disappear' from most of the movie AFTER BEING IGNORED BY HIS FAMILY AT DINNER. "He was a prisoner" well have him try to escape or something! I don't care! I just need him to be appreciated!

Also we know Mario trained but... when did Luigi learn how to fight for the final battle? [New headcanon unlocked: Luigi is a natural at fighting but tries to avoid it at all costs because he's scared]

Loved Princess Peach, what a girlboss. Would've liked to see her girlbossing even more but yeah. Chef's kiss.

MARIO AND LUIGI. Their relationship, how they care for each other, how fucking happy and relieved they are to be reunited I just-- flawless, perfect, incredible, 100000/10.

Bowser just wanted to be happy okay? I know that's not how one does things but... he was trying. I'm sad now.

Also Bowser's hot and the voice they've given him in Spanish was a great nice amazing surprise.

Loved the bowuigi scenes, didn't know that much bisexuality could be conveyed in so little time. Another win for the community. Hey Nintendo I've got a few ideas for a Bowuigi movie if you're interested.

The DK & Mario scenes are phenomenal and there aren't enough words to describe how perfect their conversation inside the eel was.

Short answer: hearing Alex Brightman in Hazbin Hotel awoke the goth/musical nerd in me like a damn sleeper agent

Long answer: I’ve always loved the film (my parents used to put it on because they liked it and would tell me when to shut my eyes when Barbara ripped her face off lmao) and I actually plan to get a tattoo inspired by the funky bug ghost man in time for the sequel 🤩🤩 I’m also super excited for the new movie! I have high hopes but I’m also trying to manage my expectations 😅💀

I’m also revisiting the 90’s cartoon, because even though I loved it as a kid too, my memory of it is shaky as hell 😂 I only really remember the Edgar Allen Poe episode because it freaked me a bit when I was little 😂😂

BUT, the musical…the MUSICAL??!! Goddamn I love it (am I deeply in love with Alex Brightman? I cannot possibly comment….), I went and bought the OBC vinyl and a tie-in makeup palette because I have absolutely zero idea how to consume media like a normal person. The score reminds me of a weird mix of Book of Mormon and The Rocky Horror Show because of the slight rock sound to it. The three note guitar riff in the first few lines of “The Whole Being Dead Thing” revolve in my brain like a potato in a microwave.

Side note; absolute travesty the musical hasn’t really left the US, I know so many fellow theatre nerds who would eat the shit up-

I think it all really ties into my adoration for quirky supernatural trickster characters with a Pick Your Own Backstory who are insanely powerful but just use it for Shenanigans™️ until someone pisses them off enough 😅 If I could, I too would just hang around in a snazzy suit causing Problems for middle class suburban people.

fast forward like 10 years later and ari and steve play against each other like PROFESSIONALLY like in the nba

the thing is, even though steve’s gotten so far in his career, he’s been thinking about retiring (atp he and reader have a kid) and ari has a rep for being like a sucky player (ig this happens after reader decides to officially leave him? i haven’t seen challengers in like forever 💀)

but the real tea is that while ari and steve play against each other, ari and reader have sex the night before the game 😶 steve finds out like halfway thru the game, and suddenly his anger issues return for like a hot minute…

then by the end of the game, he gets over it and he and ari makes up somehow? steve ends up winning and then i guess they become a throuple at the end???

again i haven’t seen challengers since the time it was out on theatres so this could be completely inaccurate but i tried 😭

i'm a bi & ace jewish brazilian girl, 1.72m tall, with long, straight, brown hair (that i've always thought about dying but always chickened out of). no tattoos, even though i have a list of which ones i'd get and what do they mean. i'm from brazil but currently go to college in new york, majoring in theatre and minoring in translation. i'm fluent in portuguese and english, learning french, and have the life objective of becoming a polyglot.

i'm in love with theatre, literary analysis, linguistics, music, writing, and art in general — will absolutely ramble about anything i am interested in, and also might have strong opinions on stuff that maybe i didn't need to have a strong opinion on 💀 i can get a bit combative about that at times... i definitely take as my biggest skill, besides singing and acting which are quite literally my intended job (i want to be a musical theatre actress), eloquence and just my way with words (toxic trait is believing i'd talk my way out of a murder fr fr). friends that know me more recently would even say i'm an extrovert because of that, but honestly i am a pile of nerves of an introvert with social anxiety that simply loves yapping and putting on a show. most notable quirk/habit might be how precise i always am with finding the right words because i simply cannot leave an opening for misinterpretation (and that's on anxiety and a suspicion of undiagnosed adhd oops); that might lead me to be a bit picky (for the lack of a better word), specific, and/or literal with the words other people use as well.

other tidbits: i can't cook for shit, i love cats (i have a rescue named lily) but also like dogs a lot, i love kids and have been told i'm good with them. i'm crazy lucky for some reason and i love crime comedy movies. i'm almost always writing or thinking about writing but i can't ever finish a project (and you may have realized by now i write too much). i love arts & crafts & other manual activities, i do knot friendship bracelets to de-stress. my default hangout with anyone ever is grabbing coffee. i'm also pretty proud of my music taste — from alt rock to 40s-50s music, love curating the vibes and i'm a bit of a playlist freak. also i would 100% show brazilian music (mostly rock and mpb, brazilian popular music) to whoever i'm paired with 💥🇧🇷

when it comes to love life oh boy i am a disaster — the two situations i have ever gotten myself into were the objective hottest girl i know and the weirdest guy i've ever come across (and both are my good friends atm). for me doing something creative, like a project together, is the quickest way to bond; and being in cahoots with someone is the deepest form of connection. let's ramble about our interests, be weird together, cause a diplomatic crisis, watch a movie, write something, idk.

Annie is actually blown away by both your love of and intelligence with languages. She's always trying to learn both Portuguese and French sayings (mostly nicknames/"I love you") to surprise you. She couldn't show off her real laugh that's squeaky and high-pitched. She couldn't swear as a teenager or say all the crude jokes she thought of. With you, though, she can let loose. She doesn't have to uphold this image like she's had to her whole life

You and Annie are as equally terrible at cooking. You make a plan to cook together, learning recipes and measurements. Sometimes the food gets burned, or worse, under cooked, and a few times you've had to split it out, wondering where you went wrong? But, overall, it builds your skills together and it makes you feel better about your lack of skills

Annie comes to every show you're in at least three times. She'll bring Hughie and Kimiko first, then M.M. and Frenchie, and the third time she goes along, wanting to see you in your glory, feeling like this moment belongs to her. She shows up with flowers every time and tells you parts and songs she's loved as if you hadn't spent weeks practicing lines and songs with her. She's so proud of you, she can't contain herself. She definitely happy cries at the end when you take your bows!

OKAY I ALMOST COULDN'T FIND A PIC BUT THEN I FOUND EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR (i'm going to guess my school is just especially unsafe LMAO like when our theatre was constructed it was NOT done right we have so many violations and like not all of our channels work...some of them are double channeled...etc SORRY THIS IS ME RANTING DW ABOUT FOLLOWING ALONG)

OKAY SO ANYWAY IF U SEE HOW LIKE THESE "BATONS" ARE JUST THESE METAL RODS LITERALLY JUST SECURED BY CHAINS??? WE HAD A BUNCH OF THESE ON OUR CATWALKS (so not all of them had these curtains on them!!) and sometimes we'd have to hang lights on ones that were far out (like not easily accesible) so what i would have to do is climb over the railing of our catwalks and step onto these little tiny poles and basically sit on two of them (yes there was a lot of space between these batons. that's why it was not safe and not a job we trusted a lot of people to do. yes my director forced me to try and wear a harness my last year of hs [after an entire year of not wearing a harness doing this stuff] and no he did not succeed or actually care that much [so i basically never wore a harness risking my life LMAO]) BUT ANYWAY so basically during this show i needed to go out onto these batons to hang a light!! but i was just thinking about where i wanted to put the light and everything and i needed to hold my phone!! so instead of putting it in my pockets or on the floor like a normal person i held it in my mouth!! which i had done multiple times but apparently this time i bit it a bit too hard and so the screen broke and would no longer register touch!! a wonderful time honestly!!! and so then i had go back to my super ancient phone bc i didn't feel like trying to get the screen fixed and didn't even know if it was worth it but that phone was always on its last life and started giving out this summer so then i finally got it repaired yay!!! (AND ALSO FOR REFERENCE old phones were built different yk. like my old phone, the show right after this play where i bit and broke this other phone yk, i accidentally dropped this old phone from the catwalks bc my hands were really shaky one day and it SURVIVED LMAO)

tw for blood ofc!! so about my finger!! so also during this show!! in the catwalks we hung up a little curtain that reached like halfway to the ground or so so that we could project cute little patterns onto the curtain (this was a horror show btw. very cutesy. very demure.) but after we did the show, i was sent up there to take the curtain down, well that curtain had been a BEAST to hang in the first place like it had taken i think two separate groups over the course of two weeks to get that thing secure so like there was wire wrapped around one of the catwalk bars a thousand times PLUS there was tape all around all that wire so i'm like tearing through this all trying to get the wire undone but then it cut me!! :( so my thumb started bleeding and so one of my kids kept a blood covered wire (my blood ofc) as a souvenir and i left my bloody thumbprint on that bar :)) and then i think we literally just put like spike tape around my cut it was a crazy day but that happens often!! i remember moving a bed once and then i was like "EW WHY IS THE BED WET" but it was actually bc my finger!! was once again bleeding 😭 I HAVE TONS OF CRAZY STORIES ASK ME ANYTIME ABOUT THEM!!
