#see one thing that confused me was that gwen stole bens watch before she sent him home like she already had hobies why does she need another#well. turns out it was probably because several members of the spiderband dont have their own either#(off the top of my head --- noir and ham werent at HQ so they dont seem to have been part of the spiderman society#pav as seen above didnt have one despite being in the society and hobie took his off when he quit)#so gwen probably had to track down quite a few extras actually unless hobie had a backlog of counterfeit multiverse watches on his hands#across the spiderverse#across the spiderverse spoilers#pavitr prabhakar#ok but the REAL thing i was thinking about with this post is that pav doesnt seem to know about canon events either#and despite jessica implying they had a way to contact him he also does not come back to HQ with the rest of the kids after the Spot Debacl#he doesnt seem to be able to multiverse-travel at all until gwen recruits him into the spiderband#so the implication here is that miguel doesnt generally let people become full members of spider society with all the associated privileges#unless hes sure that they'll be vulnerable and/or traumatize enough to buy into the ideology. which is kind of fucked up!

yeah ok lmk s5 is pretty great
#lego monkie kid#monkie kid#lmk#considering the season was probably crunched and seemingly has no special i think they did a great job holding up to old seasons#the animation could be better in some parts and isn't gonna live up to flying bark but its honestly not that bad#like it was pretty good too and would never really distract from the story#and they were right the story was still peak#idk i might have to rewatch but yeah that final part was great and am loving the implications for future seasons#like the whole pillars of creation thing? snake guy and the whole chaos stuff? everyone gaining powers at the end?#so many directions to take future stuff#the whole conflict was fun mk's whole journey was peak as always and the spotlights given to the others worked well too#i am honestly very interested where the show goes next (though hopefully they'll take more than a year to cook please don't rush things)#anyways those are my thoughts yippee#alttalks

Thinkin of the meat marionette au and how different the batfam's body language would be.
Like they've gotten used to having longer limbs, tails, long ears, wings... which doesn't translate over to their original human bodies. So their movement is definitely off, but that's not what I want to talk about right now.
What I am rotating is their body language in said meat marionette bodies. When they're more directly connected to the Hive and the Tunnels beneath the city, when they're openly large predatory creatures stalking the night.
Which means that their habits and movements would most definitely also be more animalistic. Like they might scrape their claws at the edge of the city to show that it's their territory, or maybe start play fighting like a pair of cats or birds. (If you've ever seen a pair of birds fight it's great lol)
Blinking slowly like cats to show trust or perching up high to preen while keeping an eye on the surrounding area. Chasing after goons for just a hint too long because it's a moving target to play with, things that humans just would not do.

#UTDR#UTMV#Dadmare#Dust Sans#Killer Sans#Nightmare Sans#Balance Toriel#You ever read a fanfic so good you have to draw 4 pages worth of moments from it?#I think I probably could have done more but I needed to have some self control so this post wouldn't be enormous lol#I didn't expect to get so invested in this one but the Dust and Killer interactions really fascinate me#They're so chaotic and they get at each other's throats even though they're not that different but they have each other's backs deep down#I'm just. They're brothers your honour and I love to see it#Almost all of these are from one chapter but the whole thing is so good#Fuzzynight is growing on me I'm excited to see more of these two#And don't get me started on Nightmare's unruly kids trying to set him up because they want him to be happy#It's eternally sweet but also hilarious#The real question is are they still grounded now that Nightmare and Lyra have agreed to date?#The answer is almost certainly yes but I feel like they'll still argue they should get a reduced punishment for being right (and helping)#Also I tried to do the dappled sunlight effect you described with the last picture because it was so vivid to me#And I love to see a rare moment of Dust and Killer at peace with each other#Oh my god there are four million tags I'm sorry tldr I love this fic I want to print it out and eat it okay goodbye!!#My Art

job interview tomorrow 🙏
#working interview as an assistant prek teacher#i know kids are exhausting but its the only thing i have relevant experience in#and im tired of being rejected from every office job i apply to i need a job even if it pays 12 dollsrs an hour lol#anyway they'll pay for continuing education and the phone interview went really well#i think it seems like a nice place with nice people and she said she wouldn't start me at the bottom of the pay scale#so i might get more than i think#still probably not going to top sixteen an hour but its something#they called me in for prek even tho i didn't apply for that i applied for infant toddler teacher bc i have no relevant education#just lots of volunteer work with kids#but she said that one was taken and would i consider this one i didn't think i was qualified for so thats a good sign#and she seemed really nice#and the location is good its like a 17 minute drive and not too hard of a drive either#just one tricky turn#anyway#all job interviews fill me with impending doom and dread#even tho i interview pretty well i think i just never have the relevant experience to get the job lol#but this time it seems more likely#i have anotherdaycare job that literally pays twelve dollars an hour that wants to schedule an interview as well 😬#but hopefully i get this one#the other one is closer but doesn't seem like as nice of a place to work tbh#anyway im so stressed!!#i took a sleeping pill which i may regret#i never take one before an interview bc im afraid i'll be super sleepy and tired and not want to get up and be less sharp at the interview#but then i NEVER manage to sleep the night before which i decided is worse lol#so hopefully that doesn't backfire#goodnight ❤️

tonight's one of those nights where i'm thinking about fledgling verse again....... but this time i'm just laughing at the concept of byan being trapped with eternal babyface
