Fun fact: in the Marvel's show 'Daredevil' (2015) Charlie Cox, the actor playing Matt Murdock a.k.a Daredevil, was actually blind on the set of the first episode of season one.

He decided to have special contact lenses made for him that would block his vision while not being visible. However, it quickly became time and effort consuming to have someone lead him to a chair after every take.
