ok so i was sorting through my binder from eighth grade and i found something very important

(yakkos world style narratoon) and now, the reasons why homework sucks, presented to you by me!

(written by my group and yours truly, sing this to the tune of old macdonald)

Homework all day is the worst,

It always messes with my sleep,

#homework #school #i made this with like eightish othr peooe although only like five of us actually helped #we had to write an original song about something (i think it had to be school relates?) in like an hour #we tried to make an actual song with an orginial beat and everything but found that that wiuld take too long #so we opted for good ol reliable #extremely simple amd comedic parody but im quite proud of our work #we collaborated excellently #thats a core value of my school actually #i should show this to them and show the real power of collaboration and hatred #somemothr kids made like poems about their chosen thing #but i think ours was the superior one #sadly we didnt win glory #some toher story not even a song about a chicken written in spanish won #alas #yknow poe was also not recognized for hsi work in his time #a lto of tags i know lol #we were initally gonna use a different school innaproporate word in the sing #i think it was hell #but iur teacher said no #so #alas part two #again veyr proud of this especially stanzas four and fice #anyway sorry for the egregious amount of tags lol #have a great morning slash afternoon slash evening slash night :DDDD

If you saw me agreeing with being annoyed about wasted helium in a fictional context and were like "I bet she has some more helium based anger in her life" good news LAPD fucked up a raid on a medical facility they thought was a pot farm and flat out ruined thousands of gallons of the stuff.

#Back in the day the lab I worked in went through the stuff at a hell of a rate #But that was to actually do something at least #It's also fucking humiliating that a SF paper gets to write up our cops being dipshits #I am so fucking mad about both these aspects the wasted helium and that SF gets to laugh at us #I wrote a very very angry email to my city councilor but I do that like twice a week and I don't think he reads them or anything #So I suspect this one will also not move much

I hate being a person who loves bugs, I can't say anything without the person I'm talking to reacting with disgust. Today I had to literally beg a coworker for the life of a spider, and then after I put it in a nook outside she thought it'd be funny to show me a video she took of her killing one. Like idk man. Birds scare the shit out of me but I still get why people love them. They come in pretty colors and they sound nice and they're interesting to observe. I don't understand why people don't feel the same about bugs. The rich amber color of a cockroach, the iridescent glow of a fly, the intricate hydraulics that power their little legs, the chirp of a beetle, the art of the spider's web... It's all so beautiful. Why is it the habit of so many to destroy?
