Speaking of Asaka, she fr smart!! Like she got us! I had no clue she gave Monster Reborn to Damamu, like how would you retrieve it?? My opinion of her has increased, though I liked her from the beginning lol. Hope she still duels at least once (Yuna??? Please???).

Look, I got the upmost respect for Yuamu here. Ik Ive been saying "fuck the Ohdos" for awhile, but it's supposed to be mostly a joke. Let her be the BBEG for this arc, maybe even season, to make up for what they did with Queen. But imma be genuine for the first time, ok? I really think she kinda blundered here real hard, not taking Damamu with her. Like ik there needs to be drama and all but if she could've used the Dark Power™ to knock out Damamu from the beginning, why not take them?? And even if she didn't want to do that, Damamu likes her and Yuhi and Zwijo. Just ask and they'll probably come. Am I stupid?? Or overthinking this??

Like I wasn't expecting her to know everything and her plan on the spot was pretty good, sussing out Asaka and all that but like, leaving one of the most powerful beings in the universe alone with probably the only person who could stop you is, a move ig. I mean now they're in two, when you could've just had the one locked down. They can move at the speed of light and are now a free agent. Also, what if Kuaidul just, never let go of Yudias and didn't return to Earth?? Would she have turn Earth inside out then have to fly back and hope they were still there?? What if Yudias had dueled enough times to revive another person -1 and now there were seven Damamu?? What if Damamu handed it off for whatever reason to someone and they tore it up?? AM I STUPID?? OR OVERTHINKING THIS??

This is they ONE thing I've thought about, and honestly it ain't a big deal, like we need tension and drama, if Yuamu had Damamu and found out they had Monster Reborn, regardless of when, her plan would have been just that much closer to completion, but idk. Not everything gotta be a twist, but it's still a good one lol.

Also Yuhi bout to get whiplash flipping sides like that. Yuamu, please don't beat him too hard.

I've been playing w the idea that the more Danny transforms, the more his ghost form gets "lively" while his human form gets weaker and more sickly. He knows that if he keeps transforming like this then, one day, he's not going to have a livable body to go back to, but he really doesn't want to think about all that. He's more interested in the weird "totally dead but not dead" Wayne son who may or may not have a thing for his sister.

everytime i do one these im like "this time I'll keep it simple so I don't have to suffer through colouring bc I have zero foresight—it'll be greyscale at most" and then all of the sudden its 4am and i'm trying to finish a stupid comic but i decided to add "some" colour to spice it up and hide my shitty ink job and then SOME COLOUR ALWAYS BECOMES FULL COLOUR WHY CAN I NOT ESCAPE THIS STUPID CYCLE!!

(did this all stem from me not being able to decide between a super pale character design and one w a vibrant tan bc I love white hair + tan but I also love extremely pale albino so I forced myself to find a way to make both work? never! that's absurd!)

hey btw if you're in the USA at  2:20 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Oct. 4, they're testing the emergency broadcast system. your phone is probably going to make a really loud noise, even if it's on silent. there's a backup date on the 11th if they need to postpone it.

if you're not in a safe situation and have an extra phone, you should turn that phone completely off beforehand.

additionally, if you're like me, and are easily startled; i recommend treating it like a party. have a countdown or something. be surrounded by your loved ones. take the actions you personally need to take to make yourself safe.

i have already seen mockery towards any person who feels nervous about this. for the record, it completely, completely valid to have "emergency broadcast sounds" be an anxiety trigger. do not let other people make fun of you for that. emergency sounds are legitimately engineered to make us take action; those of us with high levels of anxiety and/or neurodivergence are already pre-disposed to have a Bad Time. sometimes it is best to acknowledge that the situation will be triggering for some, and to prepare for that; rather than just saying "well that's stupid, it's just a test."

"loud scary sound time" isn't like, my favorite thing, but we can at least try to prevent some additional anxiety by preparing for it. maybe get yourself a cake? noise cancelling headphones? the new hozier album? whatever helps. love u, hope you're okay. we are gonna ride it out together.
