This is a good one! Right...i did them all lmaoo, the HorrorTale bros are quickly becoming my favorite they're just so ::3 <3 anyways I hope you guys enjoy this was really fun to think about and write!

Undertale:

Sans: Not surprising but seeing the stars is the first thing he wants to do. He's waited his entire life to see them, listened to stories and read old star charts that fell underground and from before monsters were even forced underground. For the day he spends it with Paps exploring the city, at night they walk back to the mountain to gaze at the stars, he cries when he sees them too.

Papyrus: It would probably be taking Sans out to explore with him so he can get even more ideas for future plans. While exploring he's trying to cross off the next big thing of making some new human friends! Doesn't really work out too well in the beginning as he scares a lot of people accidentally but he's not going to let that stop his adventure for that sweet sweet friendship

Underfell:

Red: Finding somewhere to get a drink. After everything that just happened with the barrier braking, seeing the sky for the first time, tasting fresh air ect. Red needs a fucking drink. It's half in celebration and half to calm his nerves.

Edge: He's with his version of Undyne making sure the monsters stay in their lane and nothing bad happens. Damage control basically. When he has some free time he goes for a quick nature walk to scope out the area, he'll take a minute to genuinely rest for once and enjoy the peaceful scenery surrounding him.

Underswap:

Blue: Much like Papyrus Blue hits up the city for some exploring. He's a curious fellow and he wants to see what this entire new world has to offer to him. He'd window shop while pointing out new interesting things to Stretch who he dragged along. Wants to try some human food as soon as possible he's insatiably curious about some and he gets street tacos as his first meal above ground.

Stretch: He's being dragged around by Blue lol. Not that he minds, he takes in the sights of the city sort of mesmerized. When Blue asks where he wants to go he'd either choose the botanical garden or an arcade. When Blue gets human food he's gets a corn dog and is disappointed when the stand doesn't have honey for it. Good thing he has his own.

HorrorTale:

Axe: He secures food for him and his brother. He literally hunts down the first animal he can find and kills it to make sure him and his brother have food that night. If he hadn't eaten recently he might go a bit overboard and overhung resulting in a small pile that he sits near and growls if anyone comes near.Once his dinners secured and Willow is by his side he enjoys the suns rays on his bones and drifts off to take the best nap he's had in years.

Willow: Honestly my boys crying. He cloud watches as the first thing he does. Of course most of the monsters are immediately entranced by the sky and Willow is no different. He spends a good amount of time simply watching the clouds drift by and feeling the sun warm his bones. He's at peace for once and gods does he deserve it. Once he's done cloud watching he's gonna prepare the food that his brother caught for them while happily exploring the surrounding woods.

Reader: male

Warnings: Bad parents, Bad parenting, High espectetions, low self esteem, arranged marriege, i didn't use the case of the baby bc the guys have like 14 so no☠️, Reader has a Bad relationship with his "fiancee", Fluff.

Hunter Noceda

Hunter probably knew Stolas! reader when he joined the Hexquad or through Willow, because I don't see it as very likely that he had friends in the emperor's coven (I'll do a drabble about that one day).

to try new things (and be away from his fiancée) Stolas! reader decided to join the Flyer Derby team, which was a surprise in itself because he seemed like someone...very...weak, at least in Hunter's eyes.

but the demon quickly became almost the opposite, summoning monstrous specters with his haunted items and his book (grimoire?) and honestly left him in disrepair.

although Stolas!lector was definitely "weak" in other ways, mostly because he was so SOFT.

He had great destructive potential, yes, but when I got to talk to him, he was so damn nice that it was suspicious (to him).

At first Hunter pretended to be angry at the constant reader talk, but little by little he lets down his walls and joins in a little in their talks, especially if they have to do with magic.

Hunter has a LOT of questions about how Oracle magic works ESPECIALLY from Stolas' family! Reader, how do you see the future with such precision? How do you control so many monsters at the same time? they might even compare research notes :D

When Hunter comes into trust with the reader, it is quite easy for him to see through him and how things affect him. like the thing with his fiancée for example.

Now, Hunter, unlike the following cases, firmly believes that THE FIANCE is the problem of everything and is willing to go for blood (he's like, how dare you make my friend cry?)

Hunter PERSONALLY doesn't think it's appropriate for Stolas! Reader and his fiancée try to be friends, make things happen? Sure, but being friends after all the bad times they've been through? titan no...

As for the terrible father thing...he can relate...A LOT.

Similar to what he did with Gus, he would share his experience with the reader and try to make him feel better.

but MOST OF ALL he goes into big brother mode when the reader is around his father (Hunter would have an inhuman amount of BEEF on the man)

Hunter knows what it's like to be manipulated by the person who's SUPPOSED to take care of you and someone you ADMIRE on top of it, so if necessary he gives the reader a reality shock when they need it.

Does being like Stolas include being fluffy and like an Owl? If so, there is no WAY Hunter doesn't end up sleeping (whether on purpose or accidentally) on the reader's soft fur (he gets very embarrassed later)

I imagine Stolas! reader tends to be very VERY dense and Hunter would definitely make some harmless jokes about it (like when someone is BLATANTLY flirting with him and he's just like "do you know what the differences are between frogs and toads? :D")

Reader's gardening hobby definitely helps him serve as a matchmaker between Hunter and Willow, whether leaving them alone on purpose or leaving a nice atmosphere ;)

Despite this, Hunter definitely thinks that reader plants are a bit too nippy for his good 😅

Hunter doesn't understand much about Astronomy or how it relates to the Oracle, but he will happily listen to the reader talking about it and tries to listen and understand as best he can. instead the reader hears about his fixation on Lobos :D

When Hunter and Willow are together, Stolas! The reader becomes his third wheel, or rather, his "practice son" is quite funny.

In general you could say that Hunter is slightly more protective of Stolas! reader for his naivety and gullibility, but he does not believe that he is any less capable for that.

He is still a great friend to him :3

Willow Park

Willow knew a little about Stolas reader, precisely because of how relevant his family was and that apparently the boy would be in her same year.

low key, Willow was nervous about this news at first, she was afraid of running into Stolas! reader for fear that he would become a Bully on her similar to Amity and her group in the first season.

but one day she ended up drinking with Stolas! reader as he ran to class, both dropping several things.

To Willow's surprise, Reader was really friendly and apologized A LOT for bumping into her, helping her pick up the books while talking about how he was new and got lost easily and how his locker tried to eat his hand.

In addition, he was completely amazed when he saw the copies of Erbology books that Willow had for her plant class, and he began to ask her MANY questions.

What were the types of plants like? Do they have carnivorous plants? Can you see them? Can you feed them? Do they have species from all the islands? and the list goes on..

Willow was so stunned by all the questions and the fact that who she thought would be her worst nightmare turned out to be a super innocent kid that she almost forgot she had class.

After that, Stolas reader would spend his time looking for Willow to talk about plants, to his joy and Willow's dismay, who on the one hand couldn't say that he disliked reader, on the contrary, he was very sweet and friendly, but he feared this. It would end in him being swallowed.

But when he met his "fiancee" with certain frustration problems...

At first Willow tries to help Stolas reader hide, but eventually tries to get them on good terms at least.

If it works, great!

If it doesn't work and you still hate each other, well, you can try that plant that reader has been studying so much--

reader is very supportive of Willow with her grubgy Flyer career! He is going to encourage her with his carnivorous plants with signs to encourage her🤣

Willow helps with Stolas Reader Gardening Hobbies!, whether it's reminding him when to water the plants, helping him get rid of the weed that bites him, or even growing plants he wants when he's feeling especially down.

Stolas reader has even tried to use his Oracle magic to make Willow get better grades, sometimes it works and other times they spoil half their lives, at least they know they will be friends in 20 years!

Willow is very emotionally supportive of EVERYONE, this does not exclude Stolas! reader, not only with his complicated fiancée, but also with the fact that his father is a TERRIBLE role model and treats him TERRIBLE.

Willow has tried to suggest that the reader take two classes, both Oracle and Plants, but the reader is TOO afraid of her father to tell her that she doesn't want to study what he says, which leaves Willow quite sad.

One thing's for sure, there are sleepovers at the Park house! and definitely try to include the reader in plans with friends as much as possible.

just like Willow is a safe place for Reader, Reader is a safe place for Willow, they are each other's shoulders to cry on, in a way.

Reader is definitely the ultimate shipper Hunlow (although he threatened Hunter that if he did anything to Willow he would put a curse on her, tear her to pieces and feed it to his plants. Hunter understood).

Both can be terrifying when angry or using all their power, although they are usually rays of sunshine.

In short, two rays of sunshine that help each other to relate to the group (don't mess with them, they are much more dangerous than they look)💚

Amity Blight

ohhhhh boy, she understands ☠️

She probably know Stolas! reader thanks to his parents being friends and/or business colleagues, similar to Boscha's parents.

Odalia insisted that Amity try to be her friend so that she could improve her relationship with her family (a very important one among the covens, especially the Oracle's).

So Amity took note and prepared herself for a capricious and pedantic prince, similar to Boscha.

Imagine his surprise when Stolas! reader ended up being the complete opposite, someone very reserved, shy and wanting to make REAL friends.

If we talk about Amity from the first season, at first she had difficulty accepting Lector, precisely because of his reputation, but they found that they had several things in common.

books for example.

Amity ended up running into Reader several times in the library while working, mainly in the reptile and botany areas, which seemed strange since he was in Oracle classes.

They would end up having conversations about frogs and what they were like outside of the boiling islands, it turns out that the reader's family could use Oracle magic even in the human world, but he loves to see the "rare" specimens they had, like the opossums or giraffes.

Being the least mean to him, Reader spent his time stuck next to Amity, and she eventually warmed up to him and she would keep him company, even open up to him.

He definitely knows about her arranged marriage, and he didn't like how it scared him, he can bet that on a couple of occasions Amity threw her away with her abobinable.

(although I think it is not impossible for him to accept her as a friend of himself and the reader if he shows he really wants to change or at least try not to take out his frustration on the reader)

defends him when someone tries to take away from his abilities as a member of the Oracle, he's like "do you think you know more than HIM??" and it definitely gets into hands sometimes😅

Amity HATES the reader's father, she considers him to be even worse than ODALIA. What kind of father commits his 14-year-old son?? (she hopes he finds out that they have been engaged since they were 11😬) and can't stand the way he talks about his son . If I could, I would send you the Alador abobinables.

She highly encourages reading hobbies, especially plants and reading, you can even read to the kids together!

she defends Stolas a lot! reader from her family when she has to see them, especially from her father, if she and the reader's fiancée get along at this point, they will most likely make an alliance to protect Reader.

Amity even tells him about Azura's books that she reads! and compare notes and drawings they make of the characters

Listen to any babbling or rant that the reader has to give, whether it be frogs, plants or prophecies he saw on his own in the stars, astronomy, etc. Even if she doesn't understand shit, she just nods and won't let anyone take away that beautiful moment from the reader.

Imagine Amity introducing Luz to the reader! she would be SO happy to see that they would both get along because they are "nerdy" in different ways, but that they complement each other well.

I think Amity is definitely rooting for Stolas! reader to confess directly if he has a crush, after all, he is cute, comes from a good family and has a big heart, who wouldn't want to be with him? It even helps you make a note!

She wants the reader to find REAL love and not be forced to have a partner for something like status.

She supports the reader all the way when she decides to reveal herself to her family, she knows how scary it is, so she even offers him not only a shoulder to cry on, but also to stay with her for a while.

She tells him how brave he was and how happy she is for him.

Overall, rich, misunderstood best friends who stick together 💜

Man, you know what hit me while watching For the Future, and I didn’t say anything about it at the time but it’s been circulating in my head since then?

Amity saying to Boscha “This is a bit much, even for you!”, in comparison to her father a few episodes back saying “this is too much— even for you.” The similarity in structure, the difference in delivery, you know.

And I keep thinking about the theory that Alador and Odalia were pushed to marry by their parents, and about how Amity was pushed to be friends with Boscha, and imagining a bad future where Luz didn’t show up and they ended up in a similar position.

It’s not going to be that bad, right? Sure, Amity never really *liked* Boscha, but you don’t have to like someone to be their friend, you just have to be around them, do things with them, listen when they talk. Having a wife will be like that, right? She’ll just… do the things she’s supposed to do, and live alongside her. It’ll be fine.

The wedding is just another formal event her parents throw, with the complication of Boscha’s parents being part of it too, and constantly trying to one-up hers. In her final act of rebellion, Amity sends Willow an invitation. She doesn’t come. Amity closes a door.

Odalia lightens up on urging Amity to join the Emperor’s Coven when she realizes that as the only one of their kids who follows in Alador’s footsteps magic-wise, it’d be better for her to train to take over the factory someday. She can’t say she exactly enjoys working under her father, since he only ever talks about work, and not even with the spark of interest in his eyes she remembers him having when she was little. Her mother spends most of her time sniping at her mothers-in-law and asking when grandkids are coming, though, and the twins are gadding about through high society and making fun of her whenever they can, so he’s kind of the family member she’s closest to by default.

Things don’t really go well. Boscha thinks the way their mothers constantly fight is hilarious, and she definitely enjoys the status that comes along with the Blight name, but she definitely doesn’t love the way her new in-laws expect her to wind potions skills into the family business or else just stay out of the way. She wants to win trophies, not be one. She’s also not stupid, and she knows Amity doesn’t love her— knew since long before the wedding, but she hoped that would change over time, and as it continues not to she’s building up an intense resentment. They were meant for each other, why can’t Amity see it? She’s being the queen of Bonesborough society, they’re on top together just like it was in high school only better, but Amity still doesn’t love her, and it’s not fair.

Some years on, they have a daughter. She’s the absolute light of Amity’s life, but by the time she’s toddling Boscha is already starting to take out some of her resentment on her. She pushes her too hard, she makes fun of the way she garbles words. The baby’s  just being a baby, and Amity tries to get Boscha to lighten up, but Boscha says she’s just having fun and being a mom, which Amity isn’t because she’s working all day, and she doesn’t have a comeback for that.  

Amity’s trying to calm Boscha down, taking her to matches when she has a rare night off and they can get a sitter, but it just prickles at her more— she wants to be on the field, not watching; she wants to be on a real date with her wife, not an awkward attempt at appeasement.

It’s all eating away at Amity. She looks into her daughter’s three beautiful gold eyes and she’s terrified her little girl will feel like this, someday.

She’s sleepwalking through her days, she feels like one of her mother’s ghosts. She’s working, because it’s the only thing she really understands anymore. She’s elbow-deep in the beta design for the 3.6, and she nearly jumps out of her skin when her father puts a hand on her shoulder.

He has a bottle of hard apple blood. They go sit on the roof, and they talk.

She can’t say she sees a way through to happiness, but at least she’s not alone. That’s something, isn’t it?

A = Affection (are they affectionate with you?)

Ian in public doesn’t show too much affection. The most in public he will do is hold your hand or maybe wrap his arm around you. He’s not too much of a PDA kind of guy.

Now in private it’s a whole other ball game. He’ll hold you to his chest and and kiss your head. This man will be clingy and want to make up for the loss of affection he could’ve gotten if it weren’t for the fact y’all were out the house most of the day.

This man cannot keep his hands off you once you’re both in your room alone. He’ll keep his hand on your thigh, sides, shoulders, anywhere possible. He has cold hands and he likes to feel your warmth.

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

He’s a ride or die best friend. This man will defend you from literally anyone who tries to hurt you. Ian is prone to have at least one instance where he’d throw hands with a guy for saying something stupid to you.

Now we know this man can fight to an extent, we’ve seen how he jumped into the fight as soon as someone accidentally hit Erin. Your man is capable of fighting.

Now most of the time he has a mouth on him. He tends to say things that come to mind without really thinking it through. It’s part of his charm. You’ll always have that type of relationship where he’ll be upfront and honest with you, or at least speaking what’s on his mind.

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

When you’re both alone, he loves to cuddle with you. He’s fine with being either big or little spoon, however he does enjoy being held sometimes a bit more.

He likes to rest his head on your chest and listen to your heart beat.

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

This man will try his best to help around, but he doesn’t really give off the energy of cooking and cleaning.

Ian will try his best to help if you ask him though.

E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

He’s a certified lover boy, and he doesn’t really seem like the type to break things off. There’s higher chances of you breaking things off first.

If he does break things off, he’s not the type to have bad exes. Ian seems like the type to still sort of be friends or be on good terms even after a break up. Especially if you’re in the alternative scene, the town is small and there’s only so many people his age into the same things he’s into.

F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

He’s a committed boy. He’d most likely die for you if it came down to it. Now I don’t think he’s the type to marry fast, and that’s mostly because he’s too anxious to move to such a big step so soon.

Ian is the type to want to take it slow and think it through. He wants you forever , but he’s not ready for the anxiety of moving to the next step.

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

This man will coddle you and take care of you. He wants you to know that you’re very dear to him.

Hell he’ll hold you until you fall asleep if he senses you’re stressed.

He loves painting your nails black and pampering you. He’s not only physically careful of you, he’s always 100% emotionally active in the relationship. He’s always there to listen to you and help with anything you need.

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

As stated before, Ian isn’t much for any sort of PDA around others. However when you’re both alone, he’s such a hugger.

His hugs are a bit tight, you can feel his bones up against your skin. He wants to try and show you how much he loves you through his hugs.

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)

He’s not the type to say it first, probably too scared you’ll reject him.

Once he does work up the nerve to say it or you say it first, he’ll be more open to saying I love you.

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

He pretends to not be the jealous type of guy, but if he saw someone flirting with you he’d be pissed. Not pissed at you, but at the guy who had nothing but the audacity to talk to his partner.

As soon as you both got back to your place, he’d be clinging to you .

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

His kisses are usually small little pecks on your lips or neck when he’s out in public. When you’re both alone in your room, he’ll let his kisses linger. Ian will hold the side of your face to try and keep it in place as he’d deepen the kiss. He loves to nibble and suck on your bottom lip before groaning into the kiss.

He loves when you kiss on his jawline and neck, it makes him all flustered.

L = Little ones (How are they around children?)

He’s honestly not the best with kids, he’s too awkward. He thinks kids are icky and gross and doesn’t want to be near them.

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

Asleep. He’s a night owl.

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)

Ian is a night owl, he usually stays up and watches movies with you. That or he’ll be up doodling with you til midnight.

Sometimes he’ll walk around the neighborhood with you and stop by a 7/11 to get some snacks and slushees with you. His favorite is the red.

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

It’ll take him a few months to actually open up to you. He’s been bullied for his alternative style and for painting his nails. So he’s a bit anxious about opening up to you because he’s scared you’ll dislike him too. Once you and him hit a couple months and he fully trusts you, he’ll open up a little bit overtime.

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)

He gets frustrated very easily, but he does his best not to take it out on you at all. He just sorta snaps at some other poor unsuspecting person who decided to try and make fun of him.

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

One time when you were going into his room to grab him one of his classwork binders, a small notebook fell out. Taking a look at it, you’d find it had pages of all the bands you and him liked.

Ian’s definite favorite moment in the relationship is when you’re both in his room, cuddling together and listening to one of his favorite songs. You’re so close and to his surprise, you knew the lyrics and tried to sing along with the music. Just watching you do that made him see you in a new light.

As stated before, this man can and will throw hands with ANYONE just to protect you, even when there’s a high chance of losing the fight .

Man is stubborn on his beliefs. He’ll always think he’s right even when sometimes he is wrong.

He’s somewhat concerned about his looks. His aesthetic is what separates him from the rest of the crowd at school. He’ll do the bare minimum to keep his appearance the same.

He’s not the type to feel incomplete without you, he’s overall an independent person.

However, he does get a bit insecure and nervous when you aren’t with him. You have made him feel a lot more confident in public.

ok i'm going to assume you're familiar with the big names like goodnight moon (big favourite), latte, tingting and ppomo. if not...get the hell on youtube.

i almost exclusively listen to female voiced roleplays so that's going to be really obvious here.

one of my favourite channels i've ever found is moonlight cottage asmr. her voice is beautiful, intelligent and a little bit more mature and the french accent just hits. her historical videos are compelling, you can tell they're passion projects and she is quite an actress.

another definite recommend is ALB in whisperland. she has a gentle voice, her soft speaking is so good, and she has a lot of videos where she delicately does things with her beautiful hands, which i like a lot.

some more in no particular order:

-aen ani asmr. i feel like she's so underrated. she mainly does fantasy roleplays in costumes and the channel is still a bit small so you have a good chance of getting a reply or your request being included in a video. it's not like, insanely polished and high production value but i like it.

-asmr mood. speaks russian but many are subtitled in english. oftentimes has fanservice and is one of the few asmrtists (on my list, maybe even in general) who usually presumes the viewer as male. i don't care about it but it means there's no makeup videos (which i find boring). and as i've said before, when the russian language k and t sounds come out in asmr i... no, i shan't say.

-amy kay asmr. pretty much exclusively roleplays and usually has interesting concepts (ie not the 5 millionth makeup and cranial nerve exam). confident and charismatic and is a bit more peppy in the way she speaks rather than the, like, pure bedtime voices.

-eunzel asmr. korean with english subs + english spoken videos. roleplays, also weird and odd triggers. i've rewatched both of her "doctor asking you insanely personal questions" videos many times.

-bluewhisper. first asmr video i ever watched was her (sadly quickly deleted) "rescuing harambe" video which got screenshotted and i think gave her a lot of negative attention because her sense of humour is playing it completely straight and people are obsessed with being smarter than the person being ironic. she does simple roleplays, vlogs, flips through the new burpee seed catalog once a year for her garden and opens pokemon cards.

-seafoam kitten asmr. if you remember the "adorable organ harvester uwu asmr" screenshot going around, that's her. she does weird, cringe-humour roleplays. she also has a slightly risque one where you get indoctrinated into being a "love pet" puppy which i think would do numbers on here.

-myaling asmr. english with korean accent. mostly long roleplays, very sweet voice and puts great effort into having a lot of props, background detail etc. often has cinematic intros which i love. her "aesthetic school outfit styling" has probably my favourite intro scene i've ever seen in asmr.

-callie blossom asmr. she's strikingly beautiful and has a "girl who's secretly obsessed with you" series that is very popular with lesbians for good reason.

-maya winky asmr. silly, fast paced humour asmr. i feel bad not saying more but like just look at her channel lol

-mid mod meridian asmr. american accent. older lady who does 50s, 60s and 70s themed roleplays. not to be like aww sweet grandma but. yeah.

-ella asmr. korean with english subs. a lot of scifi themed videos with special effects, surgery on you and mechanical equipment sounds.

-whispering willow asmr. nice, simple, basic roleplays, usually in the 20-30 min range. i like when videos aren't too long because i usually clock out after 5 minutes anyway.

-african xhosa asmr. criminally underrated. she speaks and has a few videos teaching phrases in xhosa, a south african language with clicks that i've never even heard before. also talks about history and culture often.

-90sfairyasmr. relatively new channel with not too many videos, she mostly flips through y2k/1990s teen magazines so far.

-asmr emiko ffujio. no talking, but has cool slimes and fake cooking.

-gentle whispering asmr. a very big channel, russian accented. i like her voice and soft speaking a lot but her topics tend to bore me a bit. it's generally beauty focused.

-triniti j asmr. american accent. i havent watched a lot of hers because they're usually beauty focused, but for example in the "best friend picks out your smell goods" she gets really close to the mic and chews gum which creates a speaking sound i like a lot. idk how to describe it lol

-pelagea asmr. doesn't upload on youtube anymore but a lot of backlog. mostly more or less fanservicey videos that get a bit unintentionally silly and too much sometimes. i mainly recommend her "100 ways to kiss" video with the lesbian bait thumbnail that got her 13 million views.

His parents would surely question where he was going, and when he said the library, they would ask why he was suddenly interested in the library so much and not bringing back any books and then he'll have to say that he's seeing the boy and then they'll ask what he's like and then they might think he's bad and then all I'll have are fake friends and- ... Window. Go out the window. They won't notice. He opened the window and climbed out, sprinting towards the library that's about a minute away. He got some stares, but he didn't mind. The thoughts threatened to enter into his headspace, but he managed to keep them locked away, going into the library with a now familiar ring. The worker was still on their phone. ... I guess they always do that. Where's the boy. Willow sees him at the same table he sat at when he first came here, with a Rubik's Cube of some sorts? ... What's "GAN"??? That doesn't matter. He needed interaction. Talk to him. Talk to him talk to him TALK TO HIM- "... Hello." Willow said weirdly. Oh my arc, you fucked it up from the first word. Nice going, dumbass. "Hi. You're early." The boy said, not caring that much. "Oh. Yeah. I just... Was too excited." Willow says in reply, his distress slowly leaking through. He decides to sit next to him. "... Can you solve that...?" Leo assures. Willow didn't like admitting to himself his life isn't good. He wanted to just forget everything and think things were ok. But they weren't, and he found that hard to swallow... But... I feel that there can be potential darkness in Larry and Lawrie and I will not not cook about it even if it’s trash

I’ve seen people draw L+L silly, goofy all that stuff and it’s not wrong it’s fun still. Thing is I think people think that L+L are 100% good (maybe I don’t think I seen enough L+L content tbh).

But I have a question, do they have morality?

You see in their voicelines they’ve never said they’ll do it for the good of people only that rules are the best and people should follow the rules.

Now listen Morality can equal to laws but laws can’t be equal to morality

For example, there could’ve been laws that hurt a certain minority or laws that would’ve shield people away from the truth of their country or something. You know dictators control.

And personally I think they’re more laws than morality or at least choosing laws over people/morality.

In my HC they prob see the world in a black and white situation. You’re either good or bad and though while there may be some cases that it’s gray I think they wouldn’t think about too much or they’ll follow the rules even if they care.

(Though this is a bit of a bad take since I HC Lawrie as trans but then again apparently there’s Transphobic Trans People soo there’s that but there’s still plenty of ways to explore this though)

And with this, this is why I like contrasting or have them interacting with Willow and Angelo.

Both Willow and Angelo are unapologetically themselves, yes they are mean and toxic but they’re themselves enjoying what they like.

And with their toxicity L+L have to control them the very thing that Willow and Angelo don’t like.

Which is why I like thinking interactions of them, it’s mostly comedy but I think there can be potential well say foils or opposite viewpoints ish.

Again Angelo and Willow are unapologetically themselves mean and toxic but what if I told you there can be still morality ish to them?

Ex: They can be mean to other mean or even worse people.

Plus they could have gray viewpoints (or I guess black ish gray they’re more in the selfish side)

Ex: I feel like both of them (or Angelo) would know that no matter what people will still hate you. You may be absolute perfection doing nothing wrong following rules and being a good person overall. People will still hate you. And plus you have yourselves you don’t need anyone to approve of what you are, you have yourself to be approve of. And so they don’t have to be nice to everyone. Yes selfish, but so everyone else is actually. And that person you hate that also hate you? There could be a very valid reason that they hate you. Heck you’re maybe the problematic one here. (Long story short basically the song Villain by Stella Jang)

And with their contrasting viewpoints L+L would be like “we’re just trying to help people and have them follow rules!” And Willow and Angelo “rules mules do you have any idea that they can be bad and toxic too?” L+L “I see you have chosen death” Willow and Angelo “see here you are wanting to help people but wanting to kill us? Aren’t we people too? Monsters can be human and human can be monsters. Anyways ew we’re speaking like we have morality so like- HAHAHAHA NOPE FOR FUN 4EVER FOOLSSSS”

Or if Willow and Angelo have a sad backstory (in my HC Willow getting taken advantage of and Angelo being rejected and hated by bigotry and yes that does make them hypocrites when doing the same to others but victims can be a holes too, maybe internalized hatred arc?) “then why didn’t people like YOU help us prevent from being THIS?” L+L “O_O, damn we’re sorry we can help-“ W+A “Ha? Help? Nahhhh we got this covered lmao we don’t neeeeeed help we have ourselves.”

(Also it has just occurred to me that L+L and W+A both have something to do with control so there’s that)

Oh and ig it also makes sense for the Starr park lore where Larry and Lawrie seemingly good is actually controlling people.

Other than that, that’s my rant, I feel like I badly explain this esp with Angelo and Willow morality thing part, and esp that there’s prob but most likely better people with gray morality thing (though it has just occurred to me… that Gray would’ve been the one DAMN IT- yea I see Gray as being part of Gray morality) but I do hope I get my point across people.

The moment Hooty saw them, he started screaming with excitement. "Luz and her friends are here! Hoot, hoot!"

Everyone laughed at the reaction of Hooty and stepped in the house. Luz and then Gus hugged him

"Luz came! Luz came! Hoot hoot!" Hooty shouted. King, Eda and Lilith must have heard Hooty because they ran downstairs from the upper floor.

"l've missed Lumity so so much!" Hooty shouted again

"Eda, King!" Luz shouted and ran to hug them.

"Luz! You are here!" Eda said in tears.

The four of them -of course Hooty joined them- hugged for a minute.

Then Lilith hugged Luz.

"l can't believe you are here." said King.

Eda looked at other kids and said "l'm so glad you all okay."

Now it was the others' turn to hug Eda and King.

"We missed you too old witch!" said Gus and hugged her.

"King it's so nice to see you again." said Willow and hugged him.

Amity was trying to say hello to Lilith, but she was embarassed so Lilith took the first step and hugged her.

When she pulled back she said "Amity it's been so long since I've seen you. How are you?"

"l'm okay, thank you Miss Lilith."

Eda approached Hunter after their conversation with Gus. "How are you Hunter? You look better now, l'm happy for you."

"Thank you Miss Eda."

"Just Eda."

Hunter smiled. "Thank you Eda."

After the "How are you" ceremony was over, all eyes were focused on Camila.

"You must be Luz's mom!" said King happily and shook her hand. "l'm King."

Camila knelt down and said "And l'm Camila."

"We're sorry, we were distracted by seeing the kids again, we couldn't be polite." said Lilith. "l'm Lilith, Eda's sister and King's aunt."

"No, no don't worry."

Behind Lilith was an Owl Lady who was nervous to meet Luz's mother. So Luz helped a bit and pulled her front. "Mami it's Eda, The Owl Lady l've been talking about for months."

Hearing that nearly made Eda cry but she held tears and just said "Hi! Your daughter stayed with me in this house while learning magic."

"l know that well." said Camila.

Before being able to say anything more Eda said "Don't get me wrong l know this place is dangerous for a human. You must be thinking l'm a bad influence and l can't even say otherwise but- ."

Camila interrupted her and said "l don't think that, l know every adventure you had and l'm happy for Luz to have you all."

"So, it went well." mumbled Eda.

"I hate to interrupt your conversation, but we should talk about the Collector." said Amity while looking out the window. "Everything seems normal."

"Yeah, what happened?" Luz asked.

"About that... while playing the Owl House game we discovered that he is 'the bad but sad boy 2' and we helped him." said Eda.

"All he wants was not being alone again, so we promised him to be friends forever." added King.

"He even stays here. He's in the library right now, he likes listening to children's books." said Lilith.

"You solved the only problem left, then." said Hunter. "Now Boiling lsles in peace?"

All three said yes at the same time.

After the shouts of joy, Amity thought back to the sentence she had just heard.

"Hey! Who reads books to children? it's my job!"

Eda and King looked at each other and grinned. "They've already found a replacement, Blight." said Eda.

"Who's that traitor?" asked Luz. "We were planning to read Good Witch Azura to them!"

"l don't know anyone who likes reading books and spending time with kids." said Amity.

"Maybe it's for credit, wasn't your purpose also that?" asked Willow.

"It was just a simple excuse I found in the past, I never needed credit." said Amity.

Amity turned to Eda and said "Just tell me who is this witch."

"We exaggerated a bit. No one took your place they just managed in your absence." said Eda.

"I still want to know who they are."

"Your sister and brother." said King.

"What! No way! They hate reading." she said sarcastically.

"A lot has changed since your stay in the human realm. It was difficult to explain the situation to your families." said Lilith.

"Edric and Emira took this situation a little dramatically and started doing your daily routine as theirs. They said they would try to understand you better until you came, so that you would never feel alone again." said Eda.

"How cute they are." said Camila.

"Wow...l can't believe that, they always tried to change me- l can't wait to see them!" said Amity emotionally.

Willow and Gus were walking out the door to see their families when Raine walked in.

"Oh my Titan! lt's so good to see you kids again!"

"Hi Raine!" said Luz.

"Your families will be so excited. Especially Darius." said Raine while looking at Hunter.

Hunter didn't know how to feel when he heard this. He was happy to come here, but he was afraid of what he would do.

Of course, he knew that his friends wouldn't leave him alone, but it was still a fact that he didn't have a family.

"Where is he?" Hunter asked.

"The last time we spoke he said he will go to the Blight manor."

Amity and Hunter looked at each other then Amity spoke. "Alright then we are going to home. Luz, Camila do you want to come with us too?"

I HAVENT WRITTEN IN SO LONG IM SO SORRY!!!! IVE BEEN SO SLEEPY T_T. lemme give u the week recap

thursday I didn't do a single thing. well that's a lie i went to my neighbours a little bit! i escorted her from the train station bc it was raining like CRAZZYYY and she didnt have an umbrella. but she got me a boo basket!! its a little thing she does every autumn but she made me one as a thanks for helping with moving!! it was sooo cute it had a blanket, like a glass stanley cup thing, loooots of chocolate and facemasks! shes so cute i almost cried for real. also we watched a little of attack on titan but then i went to bed.

friday i had college. i cant really remember ow it went i think i dissociated the whole time, but afterwards i had d&d! we finished the temple/dungeon and there was a HUUUGE boss fight! it was a wolf with antlers that was like the voice of the forest and omg it did this one attack that did 47 DAMAGE to everyone... i was scared for my life. but we won! and after that i had a SECOND dnd session with the server i joined... which wasnt that good. the dm was super nice! but the players were very uh.. meh. maybe i was just super sleepy and pissed off!

saturday... was rough. my friend moved so i woke up at like 8am (horrific for a day off) and helped her move for what like 14 hours straight? i thought i was going to die. but she bought me pasta afterwards! my legs are still killing me... i stayed at her new place afterwards too and its so nice!! i'm so happy for her that she finally has somewhere actually liveable ugh.

sunday we went 2 ikea!! another early morning (kms) but i had a nice time spending time w my friend :3 i got a desk chair and loads of cute little decor for the cats! I GOT THEM A TENT!!! SO CUTE! but yes i spent wayyy too much money and when i got home i got mylaptop out to type this and passed out instantly...

today was rough. seriously did not want to go to college. i toldmy mum about the mindfullness guy being weird and she got me out of his session today!! yay! im surprised i even went in TBH. its a miracle! i had a super rough time though, like mute all day. i felt so rude but also stop speaking to me I BEGGGG just leaf me alone T_T adhd 16 yr olds are so fucking loud. AND THEYRE ALL MOUTHBREATHERS omfg i couldve killed someone for real. but i got through it!

on the taxi home my driver was being very antivaxx nd i could not stya quiet like usual (too sleepy to keep it in) so i feel bad. but he was being a weirdo.

and then i napped when i got home! willow stayed curled up with me for like 4 hrs it was sooo cute!! nad then i had d&d again!! srsly the best session ever it was just us concluding the like temple arc! we learned sm world lore and riley got a cool blessing and we got cool items! and got so much gold! and came up with a super sick team name (the Buckanéires). and they learned rodri isnt dead! okay nerd time over. i need to go to sleep so fucking bad .

"Today is the fifth day of Willow Creek being covered by some weird glitchy pink texture as a result of Vidcund having a really bad mental breakdown from seeing Pascal again, which made his corruption powers go haywire.

Naturally, everyone immediately decided to blame Pascal for what happened. Considering what Vidcund and Lazlo had told us about the events that occurred from before they ended up here, along with Crystal talking a lot of shit about him for no reason, he makes for an easy punching bag.

Personally, I'm a little mixed. On one hand, I don't want to be to be defined by my fate. Like what the fuck, Watcher! Why do I still have to work under my father instead? I'm not even the only one with a shitty fate, too! I think nearly half the town was unhappy with theirs. Johnny said that Strangetown's gone to shit because everyone's trying to either go against their fates or enforce everyone's fates. I'm worried for Buck, but there's not much I can do for him now if he refuses to listen to me anymore. At least Ophelia and the Smiths seem to be doing okay (I attended Johnny and Ophelia's wedding two weeks ago!), and if something happens to them I'm sure I can get help from the people here with teleportation/traveling abilities. Everyone here seems pretty nice so far.

Anyway, If someone got mad at me over the contents of my fate, especially over actions I was doing while BEING MIND CONTROLLED, I would be pretty pissed too! And that's not even including the part where he made Lazlo feel bad for suggesting they all work together to find a way to defy their fates! Yeah, that's right! Lazlo told us about that while that pink stuff was causing everyone to relive their worst memories! A lot of people are actually still dealing with that, but luckily I got through all of mine super quick!

To go back on topic, I do feel bad for Pascal, since he was just trying to protect Tycho. And plus, he really does seem sorry about what happened, and everyone giving him shit for it probably doesn't help at all. Tank unfortunately is one of those people, and is way too hung up on the whole 'punishing someone for their fate saying that they're going to do something that they clearly don't want to do' but I'm sure he'll come around. We had a bit of a fight about it but he shut it down because the pink stuff was making him relive his worst memories again.

Tank made my life hell for fifteen years, yet I forgave him when he apologized. And last time I checked, five years is a lot less than fifteen.

It wouldn't hurt to give him a second chance, but it's not my place to say..."

Went through my drafts folder today, scrolling quickly past all the posts I’ve saved for when I’ve finally finished succession and found that the last time I drafted a commonplace book post was back in early May? Reading just started victoria goddard’s bee sting cake, the second book in the greenwing & dart series. jemis’ narrative voice sounds a little too much like fitzroy’s — exacerbating my prejudice against first-person narration where the pov character just kinda sounds like the author’s mouthpiece—but seeing more of ragnor bella, this area of the twelve kingdoms, these references to the Interim and the Last Emperor, remains delightful. Also about 80% of the way through ursula k. le guin’s a wizard of earthsea for the very first time, which has been a slow because I’m absolutely savoring it. one of those books that feels like it’s in conversation with Tolkien but goes about ‘let’s make magic literary’ in a totally different way.

watching the aforementioned succession. @hematiterings and I were doing a rewatch (for me; her first time) and we have now gotten up to season 4 episode 3, You Know the One, which means that there’s only one more episode before I’m in new territory. it’s been a really rewarding rewatch, even as I’ve been doing laptop work the whole time—I’m understanding characters’ relationships and the stakes of different decisions and events so much better than I did the first time.

listening for some reason this week and last I have not been able to get enough of Hildegard von Blingen’s bardcore covers. Specifically the cover of taylor swift’s willow, which is not a song I knew, cared about, or really even noticed before now? But it the bardcore cover elevates it so well? hildegard’s voice is so lovely? one of those sopranos I usually don’t quite believe are real—just a pleasure to listen to. bad romance and holding out for a hero have been on repeat as well, and pumped up kicks (buskin boots!) is so much more interesting than the original, but willow has been the one I actively searched by name.

playing d+d campaign one tonight for the first time since FEBRUARY. it was good! we laughed! R tried to seduce a jaguar! we might be starting a schism in a fantasy meso-american religion or possibly playing the ball game to avoid that! we won’t be able to play again until late July, early august! The real boss fight is—has always been—scheduling.

making look at this dining room chair I glued back together.

No after pictures yet but it was clamped for a few days and has now been back in use with no ill effects since…gosh, last weekend? so we’ll count that as a win.

working on between finishing my most recent slog of grading (32 review assignments, which I spent waaaaaay too long on out of an anxiety of needin to help them revise for their final portfolios) and the next round of grading (final exams for 385 are due…thursday, possibly? and portfolios Friday, though I expect I get many either late or with extension requests, my fault entirely), I think I have to write at least one job app for June 30 and. maybe try to slap some new stuff into ch 2. or conference paper? hm.

The Buffy Re-watch: S2E13 (part 1)

Surprise

A new nightmare for Buffy. This is the only time we see Joyce at the Bronze during the show's run.

Buffy's birthday episode. Where typically trouble happens on or around the day, until season 7 where she takes Spike's advice not to celebrate it.

Angel, my guy, your girlfriend is sharing serious concerns about you. You don't shut her up with a kiss, you listen and take her seriously. You never actually saw Spike and Dru turn to dust so they could have survived. (They did).

Oh he will definitely surprise you Buffy. Just not how either of you might think.

We all know where all this kissing is going to lead to and it won't have a happy ending.

Willow is wowing of the possibility of Buffy and Angel having sex for the first time. Okay, way to support your friend.

Willow and Oz are better than Willow and Xander. All ways will be.

I like how open Oz is with Willow when he asks her out. He admits that he is nervous but still plays it cool, in true Oz fashion, he doesn't hide much from people.

Thank you Jenny for shutting Xander up about the birthday spankings. That was gross.

So, Spike is now the one unable to take care of himself and Dru is the strong and capable one. Though Spike was supposed to dead by this point but we liked James too much so he stayed. Good.

Signs of Buffy's dream coming true. Shit will go down.

Strange person visiting Jenny who knows who she is and about Angel's curse? It's just Jenny's uncle who has come to warn her that Angel might be getting a tad too happy around a certain person.

This is the first time we hear about the other part of Angel's curse. If he gets a moment of true happiness then he reverts back to his evil, soulless persona, Angelus. Jenny moved to Sunnydale to make sure that didn't happen, as she is part of the tribe that originally ensouled him, and honestly she has been doing a lax job of it.

Giles tells Buffy that dreams aren't prophecies, yet the prophecies she sees comes in the form of dreams. So it's a case of not all dreams are prophecies but all prophecies are dreams. But Buffy is right about this, as much as Giles wants to think it's nothing it is turning into something. And The Master did technically rise for a short time to open the Hellmouth and let out a tentacle demon, and Buffy did die, as she did in her dream. Just because Buffy ended up killing The Master before he fully opened the Hellmouth doesn't mean the he didn't rise. Both Angel and Giles really need to take her concerns more seriously because she will be right, again. I mean, yay party time, but maybe be more worried.

Jenny being a bit sus to try and get Buffy to the party. But we are still aware that she is planning something to split her and Angel up. Then a vampire appears stealing stuff, as always, and ruins the surprise.

Oz is strangely calm about the vampire thing, though if you live in Sunnydale long enough, it really shouldn't be surprising. A lot of weird shit happens in this town.

Getting 'Rose' flashbacks from the arm of The Judge attacking Buffy. A reference to the first episode of Doctor Who with Christopher Eccleston and Billie Piper, when the Auton arm attacks them in Rose's flat. I know this episode of Buffy came first but I watched that episode of Doctor Who before I watched this episode of Buffy, and it just had similar vibes.

The Judge, the newest big bad- Kills all good people and can not be killed by any weapons forged. We'll see about that.
