Man that new promo confirmed two of my theories at once: the adults are not around at the moment and the collector does in fact turn people into puppets. I wonder if the kids really have king’s pendant?? I don’t know how they’d figure that out but it’s weird that they haven’t been caught yet. Maybe because the adults in this show are reasonable and don’t expect children to battle anything unless they don’t have a choice (like in labyrinth runners). Or maybe the collector just doesn’t care about collecting kids. I could see the adults telling the kids to run and hide while they took care of things, only to be captured instead. I worry for everyone’s parents, especially Gus and willow. I also think it’s interesting that eda and Lilith escaped while everyone else got puppeted. Not a fan of lillith’s new hair cut but I guess it makes sense that she’d run out of hair dye in the apocalypse. Short cuts were expected too, nothing says rebellion like chopping off most of your hair. Also also did that book king read confirm that the collector is a type of entity and not just this kid’s name?? Now THAT has some implications

Edit: So do you think Eda is just full harpy owl beast now because where would she even get the elixirs she needs to be civil with it? It seemed to me in the trailer that she completely lost it with king getting taken. I could see a bonesboro mission by the kids to sneak in and get her an elixir from what’s left of the potion stand. I’m surprised we didn’t see Lilith turn into the beast too because she seems to handle it worse than eda does
