Sweet Tooth
A/N: Well let me say first and foremost. My bad guys. Lol I didn't mean to keep this rotting in my drafts for almost a year, but life got crazy. I hope you guys enjoy this
Warnings: Explicit. Oral(fem receiving) Body worship. Finger sucking. Squirting. Multiple orgasms. Willy being down bad.
Summary: Youâre sweeter than any chocolate he could cook up, and Willy is all too eager to show you just how much he craves you. Your smiles, your attentionâŚyour taste.
The last few weeks of your life have been vibrant.
Filled with technicolor so unlike the dreary years youâve spent in this town. Between the weather and the chipped cobblestone, England was so gray this time of year. Frigid and frozen over with winter winds and a constant flurry of snow.
It was on a particularly cold night that youâd found him.
Saved him, heâd argue whenever he told the story. Saved him from Bleacher and his mangy mutt.
âDon't you ever get tired of harassing people?â you'd sighed as you'd stumbled upon the scene. A familiar one- another poor soul about to get roped into Bleacher and Scrubbitâs barely concealed hoodwink. Everyone whoâd grown up in this city knew better.
âWhy don't you mind your business, Y/N. And leave us be. Both me and mister-â Bleacher looks to the man. The one with the sharp cheekbones and the ostentatious velvet trench coat.
âWonka. Willy Wonkaâ And heâd said it with such innocence gleaming in those bright eyes that in that moment, you knew you couldn't let him fall victim to the cruel scam.
Thatâs how youâd ended up with an unexpected housemate.
The home youâd grown up in is nothing special and far from fancy, but you do happen to have a spare room. One with an old fold-out bed thatâs more comfortable than it looks. It may have been stupid, but you couldn't help but trust him. Want to help him, feel this pull to himâŚ
That was weeks ago. Almost a month now.
Willy living with you, under your roof, feels oddly natural. Like it had been years that the two of you had been co-existing, he fits into your space like he was destined to come to you. Like he belongs there; the two of you working together like a well oiled machine.
You cook dinner, he washes the dishes and wipes down the counters. The house has never been neater. Even though you try to deny them, every day when he returns from the Gallery Gourmet, he leaves silver shillings in the key bowl on the kitchen table.
âItâs not muchâŚbut I want to make sure Iâm paying my way. Iâm real appreciative of all youâve done for meâ he tells you so earnestly it makes you blush. You sneakily slip his sovereigns in the pockets of his trousers when you do his laundry.
He doesn't know it but heâs helped you too. And not just by scrubbing dishes.
You truly hadnt realized how lonely you were until he came along, and you were terrified of losing your found companion. Youâd hold on to him for as long as heâd allow.
Your new favorite time of the day is the evenings; quiet ones. With a fire burning in the hearth and the radio playing softly. You and Willy curl up on the couch, warm in your respective quilts. And read. Well, you read to him. At his persistent insistence.
âAren't you tired of me blabbing yet?â you tease as you pick up the dog eared copy of The Hobbit that the two of you had been working your way through.
Willy gives you a grin, all boyish and crooked âNever that. I adore the way you tell storiesâ
That makes your stomach swoop dangerously and you shake your head âYouâre a flatter, Mr. Wonkaâ
âNo, no. Your voice is more melodic than the bells of Notre Dameâ and when he says things like that to you, how are you not supposed to swoon? From any other man it would make you scoff, but from Willy his compliments always feel different.
Like maybe heâs telling the truthâŚ
You ignore it and change the subject to something that feels safer âOne day i'm gonna put you in front of a map and make you show me all the places youâve beenâ
âHonestly, It would probably be easier to mark off the few places I haven't been-â
âOh ho ho ho. How modest of you, great explorerâ You tease around a laugh and his ears redden a bit at your ribbing.
âIt's not like that and you know itâ Willy defends âIt was a lot less glamorous than it sounds. I spent seven years under the deck scrubbing pots and then collecting ingredients for my chocolate whenever we made portâ
âAnd wooing girls on every continent?â I ask and that blush on his ears spreads to the high apples of his cheeks.
Heâs a pretty one and you know even though he pretends to be demure, might come off as innocent, heâs anything but.
Youâd gotten a small taste of it, and hadn't thought of anything else since. But neither of you had quite mustered the bravery to talk about that yet.
The two of you settle in on the old worn couch with mugs of steaming hot chocolate, courtesy of Willy. Heâd spoiled you rotten, made you develop a terrible sweet tooth. Any cavities you develop, youâre completely blaming on him.
âWillyâ you whine.
âJust try it, please. I made this recipe especially for youâ
You take a sip.
The first rush of flavor over your taste buds has your eyes fluttering.
âMmm, oh my godâ you can't help but moan. Itâs the most complex thing youâve ever tasted. Truly. Heâs outdone himself- cinnamon and warmth. The kind that feels like a a lovers embrace. Sweet milk chocolate. Is that a hit of rose? âThis is insane, whatâs in this?â
At your praise Willy smiles like the cat that caught the canary âCinnamon bark from Sri Lanka, Wild roses from China. Coconut milkâ
You look over at him, appraising. Trying to figure out why his voice has taken on that husk. Why his eyes are boring into so intensely.
âWhat a peculiar combination of flavorsâ you whisper and Willy bites his lip.
âIts become my favorite combination latelyâ he admits âbut I can't seem to get it quite right. You see, I was allowed to taste it only once, and its tormented me sinceâ
Your breath hitches. Flashes of tangling tongues tongues and his lips pressed against yours. It had only been one kiss but it had wreaked havoc on you since.
You eyeball the mug in your hands. Maybe you weren't the only one suffering with the after effects after all.
âIs this chocolate supposed to taste like?...â
âYou. Yes. Your kiss. Your tongue and your lipsâ Willy nods. âI don't know if anything can come close to the real thing, but I triedâ
Your heart thunders behind your ribcage. The longing in his voice matches the one within your gut, the need that had been brewing.
âIâve spent hours. Thinking of you, trying to imitate your taste so that I could have it one more time. Spicy, but not quite. More warm. SweetâŚthe floral note from your lipstick. Iâve been nearly everywhere and iâve never sampled anything quite like itâ
With his confession, the thin thread of control snaps.
Youâd been trying, so hard. Trying not to scare him away. Trying to keep the intensity of your feelings at bay so that heâd stay, even after he secured his shop. That he wouldnt leave you when he found success-
You place the mug down on the old wood of the side table-
âPleaseâ Willyâs pathetic as he grabs at your arm âDon't go, I understand if this was too much but I- I didn't know how else to show youâ
You lean into his touch, not away and that seems to calm him if only just.
Of course this sweet silly man couldn't just tell you that he cared for you. That was not his style. He was bad with words, so much better with his hands. To him, heâd shown you the most sincere form of devotion, crafted your portrait with his most loved medium.
âI feel the sameâ you say, voice quivering just the tiniest bit. His eyes melt and he comes in close, forehead knocking against yours.
When you kiss him its hot from the start. Itâs wet and electric, charged with emotion. With desperation. Willyâs sinewy hands are all over you, cupping your chin, squeezing your waist, so much more bold this time. The waiting had lowered any inhibitions he might have had.
Itâs frantic, him unbuttoning your blouse and you tugging at his trousers.
You need more. Need to feel his dark silky hair between your fingers, his pale skin under your palms.
Nothing feels like enough. Not when he mouths at your garment covered breasts or when you wiggle out of your skirt.
You reach into his boxers, wanting to palm at the blood hot hardness youâll find there-
He groans and pulls his mouth away from your neck, where heâd been suckling marks into the delicate skin. âWait, donâtâ
âWhy?â youâre confused, you can feel him. Firm and needy under the cloth.
âBecause I want to take care of you first. With my mouth. If youâll let meâ
And oh. Oh.
All you can do is nod. Lay back and let him take what he needs, you feel more vulnerable than ever before. When he blankets you with his body, you realize that you also feel safer. Adored by this man, by this odd beautiful man.
Willy is a tactile person. He wants to touch and taste. And so that is what he does.
Thereâs so much to feel. Your heavy breasts, peaked with hard little nipples that he swirls his tongue round. Your belly and wide hips, so soft, so much give, he watches his fingers dig in and indent. Your thighs, so plush.
He buries his head between them. And inhales, deeply.
âWilly!â you exclaim, scandalized, trying to close your legs, but he shoulders his way deeper.
âYou smell so goodâ Willy reassures you, his nose pressed against the wet patch on your knickers. Groaning like itâs the best scent in the world.
He takes his time, savors the moment as he peels the damp fabric away. His eyes locked on how the strings of slick stretch and shine in the low fire light. Youâre so wet, the puffy lips of your cunt sopping already. And when he takes his first tentative lap, he knows that he could do this for hours and there's no way heâd ever be able to replicate it.
Nectar from the gods. Earthy and sour sweet.
You whimper as he feasts, as he gorges greedily. The sight of his dark head bobbing between your thighs makes you shudder. Itâs almost unreal. That heâs doing this, that he wants you. His arms are wrapped around the back of your thighs, holding them up, holding you open.
You come for the first time with your fingers buried in his hair, pressing his face deep into you. Riding his nose and tongue.
For the second time youâre arching away from the sharp pleasure.
âWillyâ you choke on your whines as his fingers reach deep into you, hitting that sensitive place inside over and over. Youâre shaking with overstimulation, but hes groaning like heâs the one being brought to orgasm over and over.
He pulls his wet mouth away every so often. To tell you how beautiful you are. How good you taste.
âI canâtâ you whisper, warningly.
âPleaseâ Willy insists, his breath against your clit âOne more, one more for meâ
You can't deny him anything, can you?
You arch right up from the couch cushions, squealing as you hit that peak again. But this time is different, this time something inside you bursts, pushing wetness out in a flood.
Willy lets out a gutted sound from where heâs smothered by your thighs, that have tightened vice like around his head during your orgasm.
Coming down from it is almost painful and youâve never sobbed from pleasure but well. Thereâs a first time for everything. While you shake and shiver Willyâs gentle, petting your thighs and tummy in soothing circles. Pulling away from your over sensitive flesh.
He stares up at you, his gaze heavy and his tongue poking out every few seconds. Swiping at his wet lips. Like he can't stop tasting you. Itâs debauched. Beautiful.
âYou are the best thing iâve ever tastedâ Willy pants out the vow, raw with honesty. Drunk on the flavor of you.
Wryly, you wonder if heâll try to manufacture it into a truffle. A fancy bon bon.
You smile as he climbs back fully on top of you, your arms wrapping around him and holding him close. You kiss the shell of his ear before whispering-
âMy turn to taste youâ

LOVE NEXT DOOR - p.sh
SUMMARY: After discovering your fiancĂŠâs infidelity, you leave behind the life youâd built in the U.S. and return to Korea to stay with your parents. The familiar streets and faces bring a bittersweet nostalgia, but nothing compares to reuniting with Sunghoon, your childhood best friend. Heâs different nowâmore reserved, maybe a bit colder. While he tries to bury the feelings he thought heâd left in the past, being around you stirs something in him that he canât ignore. And as you start to find comfort in each other again, you both realize that some feelings never truly fade.
PAIRING: childhood bsf! sunghoon x f!reader
WARNINGS: smut (oral m and f receiving, unprotected sex), angst, denial, mentions of cheating
wc: 20k
Youâre not sure what you expected when you walked into your apartment that day. Youâd left early for a business tripâan opportunity too good to pass up, even if it meant being away from Daniel for a few days. The wedding was only a month away, and youâd been looking forward to everything finally settling into place. Youâd imagined your life with him so many times: your wedding day, the honeymoon, the house youâd live in together, the family youâd build. It was all supposed to be perfect.
But as you pushed open the bedroom door, the world youâd been building shattered.
There they were, tangled in sheets that were meant for the two of you. Daniel's eyes widened in shock, but he didn't even bother scrambling for an excuse. You felt your chest tighten, each heartbeat a hammer against your ribs. For a moment, you stood frozen, every emotion rushing through you all at onceâanger, betrayal, disgust, disbelief. The room, filled with their hurried whispers and excuses, began to spin, and you could hardly breathe.
Youâd spent countless hours planning your future together, from the lace details on your wedding dress to the way youâd wear your hair. You had been so meticulous, imagining every little moment, every dance, every vow. Now, each of those dreams felt like a cruel joke. The engagement ring on your finger suddenly felt heavy, almost suffocating, a symbol of the love and trust that had been so easily shattered.
You werenât supposed to be home. The thought lingers as you stand in the doorway, frozen, watching the scene unfold in front of you. Daniel, the man you were supposed to marry in a month, is tangled in your sheets with another woman. His face pales, and he stumbles over himself, trying to sit up, as if thereâs any explanation that could possibly make this right.
âY/N, I can explain,â he starts, throwing on the shirt that had been discarded on the floor. His voice is a mix of desperation and guilt.
âExplain?â you manage, though your throat feels tight, your voice barely a whisper. You feel like youâre in a daze, like this canât possibly be real. âYouâre in our bed, Daniel. The bed where weââ You choke on your words, unable to finish the sentence. Everything youâd built with him, all the dreams and plans, now feel hollow and meaningless.
He takes a step toward you, but you instinctively back away. âIt wasnât supposed to happen like this. It was a mistake, Y/N. Please, just let meââ
âA mistake?â You let out a bitter laugh, the sound foreign even to yourself. âWeâre supposed to get married in a month, Daniel. A month! I was planning our wedding while you wereââ You stop, shaking your head as the reality of it all starts to sink in. âDid you ever even care about us? About me?â
âOf course I did,â he says, his voice cracking. But thereâs a hollowness in his words, one that you canât unhear now.
âDonât,â you interrupt, holding up your hand to stop him. âJust⌠donât. I trusted you. I thought you loved me.â The weight of the engagement ring on your finger feels unbearable now, as if itâs mocking you, reminding you of every lie heâs ever told. You pull it off and toss it onto the bed, where it lands with a soft thud. âKeep it. I donât want it anymore.â
He reaches for you, his hand outstretched, but you step back. âY/N, please, donât go. We can fix thisââ
âFix this?â You laugh again, the sound almost hysterical. âThereâs nothing left to fix, Daniel. You ruined it. You ruined us.â The finality of your words hangs in the air, and for the first time, he seems to understand that this is it. Youâre done.
Without another word, you turn and walk out, leaving behind the life youâd once believed in, the future youâd painstakingly planned. And as you step outside into the fresh air, you feel a strange sense of relief mixed with the ache of betrayal.Â
Ëŕ¨ŕ§âď˝ĄË â
The hotel room is cold and impersonal, nothing like the home youâd shared with him. As you sit on the edge of the bed, you feel the weight of everything crashing down on you. Youâre alone, truly alone, in a way you havenât been since you first moved to the U.S. Daniel was supposed to be your constant, the one person you could rely on in this foreign place. Now, it all feels like a lie.
You clutch a pillow to your chest, trying to hold yourself together as the realization sinks in. You gave up so much to be with him, to build a life together. You left behind friends, family, and a whole world you knew, all for someone who didnât care enough to stay faithful. The emptiness that fills you is overwhelming, and for the first time in a long time, you feel lost.
The next day, you return to your shared apartment. The place feels different nowâtainted, like a ghost of the life you thought you had. You walk through each room, collecting your things in a daze, each item a painful reminder of a future that no longer exists.
In the bedroom, you pause, glancing at the photos on the nightstand. One of them is from the day he proposed, your faces beaming with happiness that now feels so far away. You grab the picture frame and toss it into a box, the glass cracking as it hits the other items. It feels oddly satisfying.
Once youâve packed everything, you head to work for what you know will be the last time. The office is buzzing with the usual hum of conversations and keyboard clicks, but it all feels distant, like youâre watching it from the outside.
You find your boss in his office, and he looks up as you walk in. âY/N, I wasnât expecting you back so soon. How was the trip?â
You force a smile, though it barely reaches your eyes. âThe trip was fine, but I need to talk to you about something.â
He senses the seriousness in your tone and gestures for you to sit. âWhatâs going on?â
Taking a deep breath, you steady yourself. âIâm resigning. Effective immediately.â
He blinks, surprised. âAre you sure? I mean, you have such a promising future here, andââ
âIâm going back to Korea,â you say, cutting him off. âThereâs⌠thereâs nothing left for me here.â You swallow hard, fighting back the tears threatening to fall. âI need to go home.â
He nods slowly, seeming to understand that this isnât just a spur-of-the-moment decision. âIâm sorry to hear that, Y/N. Weâll miss you around here.â
The finality of it all feels like a release, and as you walk out of the office for the last time, you feel a strange mix of sadness and relief. Youâre leaving behind everything youâd built, but youâre also walking away from the pain, from the betrayal. Itâs time to start over, to find yourself again. And you know exactly where you need to be.
With your suitcases in hand, you leave the apartment, the job, and the life youâd once loved, and head for the airport. This time, youâre going homeâfor good.
Ëŕ¨ŕ§âď˝ĄË â
The plane ride back to Korea feels like a dreamâa hazy, surreal blur where the reality of whatâs happened hasnât quite caught up with you. You stare out the window, watching as the city below grows closer, the familiar landscape bringing a wave of bittersweet nostalgia. Youâre going home, but not for the reasons you ever imagined.
You feel a wave of apprehension mixed with relief. You hadnât planned on returning home so abruptly, with nothing but a suitcase and a broken heart, and you certainly hadnât told anyone. You let yourself imagine how surprised your parents will be when you show up at the door unannounced. But you push the thought aside as you step into a cab, the familiar cityscape passing by in a blur.
The familiar street feels almost surreal as you pull up to your parentsâ house, the one you havenât seen in years. After everything thatâs happened, this was the only place that felt like it could hold you together. As you step out of the cab and stand in front of the door, the weight of your decision settles over you.Â
You take a deep breath and ring the bell. you stand at the door, hesitating. You havenât been here in so long, and everything looks just as it did beforeâyet somehow different. The door swings open to reveal your motherâs shocked face.
âY/N?â she gasps, her hand flying to her mouth. âIs it really you?â
âItâs me, Mom,â you say, managing a small smile as she pulls you into a tight hug.Â
âOh, honey!â She squeezes you, almost as if to make sure youâre real, then steps back, looking you over with a mixture of joy and worry. âWhat are you doing here? We didnât know you were coming!â
âI know. I wanted it to be a surprise.â You look over her shoulder to see your father standing in the doorway, his expression just as bewildered.
âWell, come in, come in!â Your mother ushers you inside, closing the door behind you. Your father wraps you in a quick hug, his grip firm but gentle.
âWhat brings you back home so suddenly?â he asks, his voice tinged with concern. âWe thought youâd be busy with wedding plans.â
Your heart skips a beat, but you keep your expression steady. âYeah⌠I just needed to get away for a bit. I missed you both.â
Your mother gives you a searching look, sensing thereâs more to the story. âBut your wedding is only a month away. Is everything okay?â
âItâs fine,â you say quickly, forcing a smile. âDaniel and I decided to take a break. I just needed some space to think, so I thought itâd be nice to come home for a while.â
Your parents exchange glances, their worry deepening. âA break?â your father echoes. âThis close to the wedding?â
You take a deep breath, bracing yourself against the wave of emotion that threatens to break through. âYeah, it was a last-minute decision. But I promise, itâs nothing to worry about. I just⌠needed to clear my head.â
Your mother reaches out and takes your hand, her grip warm and reassuring. âWeâre here for you, sweetheart. You know that, right?â
âI know.â You squeeze her hand, grateful for their presence. âI just needed to be here. With you.â
Your father nods, his expression softening. âWell, youâre always welcome here. For as long as you need.â
They settle into the familiar rhythm of conversation, asking about your flight and your plans, you find a small sense of comfort in their voices. But beneath it all, you can feel the questions they arenât asking, the truths youâre not yet ready to share. For now, you let their warmth surround you, clinging to it like a lifeline in the storm youâre still navigating alone.
Ëŕ¨ŕ§âď˝ĄË â
As the night settles in, you find yourself standing in the doorway of your childhood bedroom, heart pounding. It feels both familiar and foreign, the walls adorned with posters of your teenage dreams and the desk still cluttered with relics of late-night study sessions. You push the door open, stepping inside and allowing the memories to wash over you.Â
The bed is made, just as you left it all those years ago, with the comforter patterned in pastel colors and stuffed animals peeking out from under the pillows. You take a deep breath, inhaling the scent of your childhoodâthe faint hint of lavender air freshener mixed with the familiar aroma of old books. Itâs comforting and painful all at once.
You sit on the edge of the bed, your mind drifts back to nights spent cramming for exams, the soft glow of the desk lamp illuminating pages of notes and textbooks. You remember laughing with your friends during late-night study sessions, the sound of their voices filling the air as you all shared dreams and plans for the future. Those were simpler times, before life became a tangled web of expectations and disappointments.
With each memory, a wave of nostalgia crashes over you, but the pain of your recent reality looms just beneath the surface. You can almost hear the echoes of your younger self, confident and excited about the future. Now, you feel like a shadow of that person, haunted by the weight of betrayal.
You shake your head, forcing a smile as you pull out your pajamas from your suitcase. No sense in dwelling on the past. You need to maintain the strong front youâve put on for your parents. They deserve to see you as the daughter whoâs come home, not the girl whose world has crumbled in a matter of weeks.
As you change into your pajamas, you catch a glimpse of yourself in the mirrorâyour eyes tired and a hint of sadness in your smile. But you quickly brush it aside, reminding yourself that you canât let them see how vulnerable you feel. Your parents have already expressed their concerns; you canât burden them with the truth just yet. You donât want to break their hearts with the reality of why youâre here.
Slipping under the covers, you take a moment to appreciate the softness of the sheets, the way they wrap around you like a warm embrace. You lie back, staring at the ceiling, and allow your thoughts to wander. You think of Daniel, of the way everything fell apart so quickly, and the ache in your chest sharpens. But you breathe through it, determined not to let the tears spill over.
Instead, you focus on the memories that fill this room, allowing yourself a brief moment of comfort before the darkness creeps back in. You can hear your motherâs soft footsteps in the hallway, her gentle voice drifting through the walls as she chats with your father. Theyâre worried about you, and you know it. But you refuse to let them see the cracks in your facade.Â
You close your eyes, the past and present collide in a whirlwind of emotion, but you push the chaos aside, seeking solace in the familiarity of your childhood sanctuary. Here, in this room, you can hold on to the illusion of safety, if only for a little while longer.
Ëŕ¨ŕ§âď˝ĄË â
The next morning, you wake up to the smell of something familiarâyour motherâs cooking. For a moment, you let yourself enjoy the simplicity of it, the warmth of home wrapping around you like a blanket. You push back the covers and head downstairs, where you find her bustling around the kitchen, setting the table like she used to when you were in high school.
âGood morning,â she says brightly as she sees you, her smile wide and welcoming. âI made your favoriteâjeon and kimchi jjigae. Figured you could use a nice breakfast after that long flight.â
âThanks, Mom.â You slide into a chair at the table, the normalcy of the moment grounding you. Itâs almost like the old days when everything was so simpleâjust you, your parents, and a quiet morning before the day truly began.
She sets a plate down in front of you, the scene feels like something out of the past. The kitchen hasnât changed, with the same floral curtains and the light clinking of dishes filling the quiet space. Itâs peaceful, almost enough to make you forget why youâre back.
You both fall into an easy conversationâtalking about small things like the weather, whatâs been happening in the neighborhood, and her latest gardening projects. She doesnât press about Daniel or the wedding, and youâre thankful for the reprieve. Youâre determined to keep up this front, to act like everythingâs fine, at least for now.
Just as you start to relax into the conversation, the front door flies open with a loud bang, and a familiar voice cuts through the morning calm.
âY/N!â
You look up just as Yeji storms into the kitchen, her expression a mix of excitement and disbelief.
âHow could you not tell me you were coming back?â she demands, standing with her hands on her hips as she glares at you in mock offense. âI had to hear it from our momâs call this morning! Do you know how betrayed I feel right now?â
You blink in surprise, a guilty smile tugging at your lips. âYeji, Iââ
âUnbelievable,â she cuts you off, shaking her head. âI thought we were best friends! Youâre lucky I love you.â
She strides over and pulls you into a tight hug before you can finish your sentence. You laugh softly, hugging her back. âIâm sorry, I didnât tell anyone. It was a last-minute thing.â
Yeji pulls away and gives you a playful glare. âYou owe me, big time.â
Your mother, who has been watching this entire exchange with an amused smile, shakes her head. âI told her she shouldâve called you first,â she teases, glancing between the two of you.
Yeji crosses her arms, looking at you expectantly. âWell, youâre here now, so spill. Whatâs going on? Why the sudden return?â
You feel the weight of her question hang in the air, but before you can figure out how to answer, your mom steps in.
âLet her eat first, Yeji,â she chides gently. âShe just got here yesterday.â
Yeji grumbles, taking a seat next to you with a dramatic sigh. âFine. But after breakfast, you better be ready to talk. No way youâre getting out of this.â
You smile, feeling the warmth of her friendship wrap around you, even as you dread the inevitable questions. For now, though, you focus on the food in front of you, allowing the conversation to flow around you like it used toâjust another morning in the house where everything was simple.
Ëŕ¨ŕ§âď˝ĄË â
âIm heading to the market to get stuff I need for tonightâs dinner. Iâll be back in a little,â Your mom tells you, walking out the door and closing it behind her.
Yeji narrows her eyes, tapping her fingers on the table. âOkay, Y/N. Enough stalling. Why are you really back? This close to the wedding? Whatâs going on with you and Daniel?â
You feel your stomach tighten, but you keep your face neutral, cutting a piece of pancake as if her question hasnât hit you like a punch to the gut. âI told you, I just wanted to visit. I missed everyone.â
Yeji isnât convinced. âY/N, donât give me that. You didnât even tell me you were coming back, and youâre usually texting me about every little thing. Now you show up out of nowhere, and weâre supposed to believe this is just a friendly visit?â
You meet her gaze, your heart pounding, but you force yourself to stay calm. âIt is. Thereâs nothing else to it.â
She raises an eyebrow, clearly not buying it. âCome on. You and I both know somethingâs up. Was there a fight? Did Daniel do something?â
You shake your head quickly. âYeji, really. I just needed a break. Thatâs all.â
Yeji stares at you for a moment longer, waiting for you to crack, but when you donât, she throws her hands up in defeat. âFine. Keep your secrets. But mark my words, Iâll get it out of you one way or another.â
You breathe a silent sigh of relief as she finally drops the topic. Youâre not ready to talk about Daniel, or the betrayal that shattered everything. Not yet.
Yeji leans back in her chair, crossing her arms. âAnyway, speaking of things you havenât told me⌠have you seen Sunghoon yet?â
The question takes you off guard, and you look at her, surprised. âSunghoon?â
âYeah,â Yeji says, eyeing you with a knowing smirk. âYour other childhood bestie? The one whoâs still very much around? He lives next door, you know.â
You fidget with your fork, feeling an odd mix of emotions stir at the mention of his name. âNo, I havenât seen him yet.â
Yeji tilts her head. âReally? Youâve been here since yesterday and havenât run into him? Thatâs weird. Heâs practically part of your family.â
You shrug, trying to appear indifferent. âI got in late, and Iâve been busy with unpacking. Itâs not that surprising.â
Yeji chuckles. âHeâs going to be so mad you didnât tell him you were coming back either. Youâve got a lot of explaining to do, Y/N.â
You manage a small laugh, though the thought of seeing Sunghoon after all these years sends a small flutter of anxiety through you. Things with him had always been comfortable, easy, but after so long apart, youâre not sure what to expect. And after everything thatâs happened with Daniel, the idea of facing someone who knows you so well feels almost too raw.
âWell, good luck with that,â Yeji says, giving you a teasing smile. âYou know how he is. Heâs probably going to give you the cold shoulder for a bit.â
You force a grin, though youâre already dreading the inevitable reunion. âYeah. I guess Iâll deal with that when it happens.â
Ëŕ¨ŕ§âď˝ĄË â
Later that afternoon, feeling a bit restless from being inside all morning, you decide to take a walk to the nearby convenience store. The air is crisp and cool, and the quiet hum of the neighborhood feels calming. Itâs the kind of peace you missed during your years abroad, and for a moment, you let yourself relax, letting the familiar surroundings ease your mind.
As you approach the store, lost in thought, you nearly bump into someone coming out. You step back, about to apologize, when you realize who it is. Sunghoon.
Your heart stutters in your chest as you take in the sight of him. He looks the same, yet somehow different. Taller, more mature. His dark hair falls slightly over his eyes, and heâs dressed casually in a hoodie and jeans, holding a bag of snacks in one hand. But itâs his expression that catches you off guardâcool, almost indifferent, as his eyes meet yours.
âSunghoon?â you say, trying to mask the awkwardness creeping into your voice. âI didnât think Iâd run into you here.â
He blinks, a brief flicker of surprise crossing his face before it quickly fades into something more guarded. âY/N,â he says, his tone even. âI heard you were back.â
Thereâs no warmth in his voice, no hint of the familiarity you used to share. The coldness of his reaction makes your stomach drop, and for a moment, you donât know what to say.
âYeah⌠I came back yesterday.â You offer a small, tentative smile, hoping to ease the tension. âIt was kind of a last-minute thing.â
Sunghoon nods, but his expression doesnât change. âI figured.â
You stand there awkwardly, the weight of the unspoken tension between you heavier than you expected. This wasnât how you thought it would go. He used to be one of your closest friends, someone you could talk to about anything. Now, it feels like youâre standing in front of a stranger.
âHave you been okay?â you ask, trying to bridge the gap between you.
âYeah, Iâve been fine.â His answer is short, clipped, as if heâs not interested in small talk.
The coldness in his voice stings, and you canât help but wonder if your sudden disappearance all those years ago had more of an impact on him than you realized. âItâs good to see you,â you offer, even though youâre not sure if itâs true anymore. âIâve missed everyone.â
âRight.â He looks past you, as if already ready to leave. âWell, welcome back.â
Thatâs it? No questions, no catching up, just⌠this? You feel your chest tighten, the conversation feeling colder by the second.Â
âThanks,â you manage to say, trying not to let his aloofness get to you. âI guess Iâll see you around?â
Sunghoon shrugs, his expression unreadable. âMaybe.âÂ
With that, he steps past you, walking away without another word, leaving you standing there, feeling strangely hollow. You watch him go, the distance between you now more than just physical. Itâs like thereâs a wall where there used to be a connection, and youâre not sure howâor ifâyouâll ever break through it again.
After your brief and awkward run-in with Sunghoon, you continue into the convenience store, your thoughts swirling. The encounter had left you unsettledâmore than you wanted to admit. Youâd expected maybe a little awkwardness after all these years, but not this cold, indifferent version of Sunghoon. The Sunghoon you remembered was always warm, protective, quick to tease you. Now, it felt like he couldnât care less that you were back.
You absentmindedly browse the aisles, picking up a few snacks and bottled water, you replay the conversation in your head. Every curt response, every emotionless glance. Was he mad? Hurt? Or had he just moved on with his life so much that your return didnât even register? You didnât expect everything to fall back into place after so many years, but you certainly didnât expect this.
You make your way to the counter, trying to push the thoughts away. Maybe itâs better not to overthink it. Youâve only been back for a dayâthings might take time to feel normal again. Or maybe youâve just been gone too long.
The cashier rings up your items, and you pay before stepping back outside into the cool autumn air. The sky is a soft gray, and a slight breeze carries the scent of falling leaves, a reminder that some things, at least, remain the same.
Ëŕ¨ŕ§âď˝ĄË â
On your way back home, your mind drifts to everything thatâs happened in the last few days. Youâd been so focused on escaping Daniel, on putting distance between you and the life youâd built with him in the U.S., that you hadnât really prepared yourself for how different everything might be back here.Â
You shake your head. This wasnât the time to spiral. One thing at a time.
When you reach your house, you feel a bit lighter, the familiarity of home giving you a sense of stability. As you open the door and step inside, your mother is in the living room, flipping through a magazine.
âHey, sweetie,â she greets with a smile, glancing up at you. âDid you get what you needed?â
âYeah, just a few things,â you reply, holding up the bag. âThought Iâd take a walk.â
âGood. Itâs nice to have you back home.â She pats the seat next to her on the couch, and you sit down, the warmth of the house and her presence comforting.
You try to focus on the moment, pushing aside the confusing encounter with Sunghoon for now. But it lingers in the back of your mind, like an unresolved thread, tugging at you no matter how hard you try to ignore it.
One day at a time, you remind yourself. You came back to Korea to heal. Whatever happens with Sunghoonâor anything elseâwill have to wait.
As you settle into the couch next to your mom, you finally let yourself relax a little. The warmth of the house, the quiet rhythm of the afternoonâit almost feels normal. But as you sit there, your mom glances at you with a casual smile, one that makes you wary.
âOh, I forgot to mention,â she says, flipping the magazine shut. âSunghoon and his parents are coming over for dinner tonight.â
You freeze, your fingers tightening slightly around the edge of the couch. âWhat?â
âYeah,â your mom continues, completely unaware of the tension that suddenly grips you. âIâve been meaning to invite them over, and I thought itâd be nice to have a little family dinner now that youâre back. You know how close we are with them.â
Your mind races. You had barely survived your run-in with Sunghoon at the convenience store, and now you were supposed to sit through an entire dinner with him? After how cold and distant heâd been? The thought alone makes your stomach twist.
âTonight?â you ask, trying to keep your voice even.
âMm-hmm,â your mom says, already getting up to head toward the kitchen. âIâm going to start prepping soon. Itâll be fun, donât you think? Just like old times.â
Fun wasnât exactly the word youâd use. âMom, Iââ
Before you can come up with an excuse, sheâs already busy listing out dishes. âI was thinking weâd do something simple. Maybe some bulgogi, kimchi, a few side dishes. Oh, and that japchae you love. Sunghoon always liked that, too.â
You rub your temples, feeling the weight of the situation settle on your shoulders. There was no getting out of this. Your mom had clearly put thought into this dinner, and after being away for so long, you didnât have the heart to tell her no.
âYeah⌠sounds great,â you manage to say, though your enthusiasm is clearly lacking.
âPerfect! Iâll get started now. Why donât you help me later with the table?â she says cheerfully, disappearing into the kitchen.
You sit there, trying to wrap your mind around the fact that in just a few hours, youâll be sitting across from Sunghoon at dinnerâawkward silences, tense glances, and all. Youâd thought you could avoid him for a while, at least until you figured out how to talk to him, but it seems the universe had other plans.
Ëŕ¨ŕ§âď˝ĄË â
Dinner time arrives faster than youâd hoped, and the pit in your stomach grows heavier with each passing minute. You spent the last hour helping your mom set the table, the familiar routine of laying out chopsticks and plates doing little to calm your nerves. Every time you hear a sound outside, your heart jumps, anticipating their arrival.
Finally, thereâs a knock at the door, followed by your fatherâs cheerful voice as he greets Sunghoon and his parents. You force a steadying breath, bracing yourself for the inevitable as they step inside.
âCome in, come in,â your mom calls from the kitchen, wiping her hands on a towel as she moves to greet them.
You stay rooted by the table, trying not to let your unease show. When you glance up, your eyes meet Sunghoonâs. His face is impassive, and though his parents are all smiles, he barely acknowledges you beyond a polite nod.
âY/N,â his mother beams, walking over to give you a warm hug. âItâs so wonderful to see you back home! You look so grown-up. How long has it been?â
You muster a smile as you hug her back. âItâs been a while, yeah. Iâve missed being here.â
Sunghoonâs dad shakes your hand with a broad smile. âYou were always such a good kid. Your parents must be thrilled to have you back.â
You nod, trying to keep the conversation light as you exchange pleasantries with Sunghoonâs parents. Meanwhile, Sunghoon himself stands near the doorway, hands in his pockets, looking anywhere but at you. The coldness from earlier lingers between you, thick and uncomfortable.
Your mom ushers everyone to the dining table, her excitement palpable as she serves the food. âLetâs all sit! Itâs so nice to have everyone together again.â
You find yourself seated across from Sunghoon, who remains quiet as the meal begins. His parents chat easily with your parents, exchanging updates on family matters and local gossip. You try to join in, but itâs hard to focus when you can feel Sunghoonâs presence directly in front of you, the weight of his silence pressing down.
At one point, his father glances at you, his smile genuine. âSo, Y/N, how long are you planning to stay? Iâm sure youâve got a busy life back in the States, with the wedding and all.â
You freeze, the mention of the wedding making your chest tighten. Youâd hoped it wouldnât come up, but of course, it was inevitable. All eyes turn to you, and you feel Sunghoonâs gaze on you now, sharp and watchful.
âOh⌠Iâm not sure yet,â you answer, trying to keep your voice steady. âI havenât really figured everything out.â
His mother looks over, curious. âArenât you worried about the wedding? Itâs only a month away, right?â
You swallow hard, avoiding Sunghoonâs gaze, which feels like a dagger from across the table. âI⌠I decided to take some time off. You know, to clear my head before everything gets hectic.â
Your parents exchange glances but donât press further, sensing that thereâs more to the story than youâre letting on. Sunghoonâs mother, however, isnât as easily deterred.
âWell, Iâm sure Danielâs missing you terribly,â she says with a laugh, clearly unaware of the tension her words cause. âYou two must be so excited about the big day!â
You feel your throat tighten, your fingers gripping the edge of your plate. Before you can figure out how to respond, Sunghoon finally speaks.
âMaybe we should give Y/N a break,â he says, his tone low but unmistakably cold. âShe just got back. No need to bombard her with questions about her wedding.â
Everyone goes silent for a moment, the shift in his tone catching them off guard. You glance up, surprised by his sudden defense of you, but when your eyes meet, his expression remains unreadable.Â
His mother blinks, a bit flustered. âOh, of course. I didnât mean to pry.â
âItâs fine,â you say quickly, trying to smooth over the tension. âReally. I just needed some time to think.â
Your father clears his throat, steering the conversation to a different topic, but the air remains thick with unspoken words. As dinner continues, you canât help but glance at Sunghoon, who stays quiet for the rest of the meal, his face hard, distant.
By the time dessert rolls around, youâre exhausted from keeping up the act. You want nothing more than to escape this table, to be anywhere but here, trapped between old memories and the unresolved tension that hangs over everything like a storm cloud.
Sunghoon may have spoken up for you, but the chill in his demeanor tells you everything you need to knowâhe hasnât forgiven you for leaving, and this dinner is just the beginning of whatever complicated mess lies ahead.
Ëŕ¨ŕ§âď˝ĄË â
After dinner, the weight of the evening presses on your chest, and you feel the overwhelming need for spaceâsomewhere away from the questions, the tension, and the relentless memories. Your parents chat casually in the living room with Sunghoonâs parents, but their laughter feels distant, like youâre no longer part of it. Excusing yourself quietly, you slip out of the house, letting the cool night air hit your skin as you walk down the quiet, familiar streets.
You find yourself heading to the park where you, Sunghoon, and Yeji used to play as kids. The old swings, the jungle gym, even the worn-out slideâitâs all still there, untouched by time. The memories of those carefree days flood back, bittersweet in their simplicity. You push down the ache in your chest and sit on one of the swings, the creak of the chains loud in the stillness of the night.
The moon hangs low, casting a pale glow over the empty park. You let yourself swing gently, the motion soothing, but your thoughts are anything but calm. Everything is swirlingâDaniel, the wedding that wonât happen, your sudden return home, and the wall Sunghoonâs built between you since the moment you saw him again.
Lost in your thoughts, you donât hear him approach until heâs already there. The soft crunch of his footsteps on the gravel pulls you from your reverie, and you glance to your side, startled to see Sunghoon standing there, his expression unreadable. He doesnât say anything at first, just looks at you for a moment before settling onto the swing next to you.
For a long while, neither of you speaks. The silence stretches between you, thick and uncomfortable, but somehow familiarâlike the many quiet nights youâd spent together here as kids. Back then, silence was easy. Now, itâs loaded with everything you havenât said, everything thatâs changed.
Finally, you break the quiet, your voice barely above a whisper. âI didnât think youâd follow me.â
Sunghoon doesnât look at you, his gaze fixed on the ground as he kicks at the dirt with his shoe. âI didnât think I would either,â he admits, his voice flat. âBut here I am.â
You glance at him from the corner of your eye, trying to gauge his mood. The coldness from earlier lingers in the air between you, but thereâs something else tooâsomething softer, more hesitant, like heâs struggling with whateverâs on his mind.
The gentle creak of the swings is the only sound for a few more moments, until he finally speaks again, his tone low and distant. âYou left,â he says, his words simple but heavy. âNo warning. No goodbyes.â
Your stomach twists at the accusation, but you canât deny it. âI know,â you say quietly, gripping the chains of the swing a little tighter. âIâm sorry.â
He lets out a small, bitter laugh. âYeah, well, that doesnât exactly change anything, does it?â
You wince, the sharp edge in his voice cutting deeper than you expected. âSunghoon, I didnât mean to just disappear. Things were⌠complicated.â
âComplicated?â He finally turns to look at you, his eyes narrowing slightly. âYou couldnât have called? Texted? I had to hear from my parents that you were moving to the U.S. And now, after years of nothing, you just show up out of nowhere, acting like everythingâs fine?â
You bite your lip, the guilt weighing heavily on you. âI didnât mean to hurt you. I just⌠I needed to get away. From everything. And then⌠life happened.â
Sunghoon shakes his head, his jaw clenching. âYouâre always running away, Y/N. You did it back then, and now youâre doing it again. What happened with Daniel? Did he screw up, and now youâre back here hiding?â
His words strike a nerve, and you feel your chest tighten. âItâs not like that,â you say defensively, though a part of you wonders if heâs right.Â
âIsnât it?â he presses, his voice sharp. âYouâre back here, pretending everythingâs okay when clearly, itâs not.â
You turn away, the pain and frustration bubbling up inside you. âYou donât know what Iâve been through, Sunghoon. Itâs not that simple.â
For a moment, he stays silent, the tension between you thick and suffocating. Then, he sighs, the anger seeming to drain out of him. âYouâre right. I donât know. Because you never told me.â
You look over at him, and for the first time since youâve been back, you see something in his eyes that isnât coldness or angerâjust hurt. The years youâve spent apart, the silence between youâitâs all built up into this wall that neither of you knows how to tear down.
âI didnât mean for it to be like this,â you whisper, the weight of the years catching up to you. âI just⌠I needed to figure things out. And now, I donât know how to fix it.â
Sunghoon looks away, his expression softening, though the hurt still lingers. âMaybe itâs not about fixing things,â he says quietly. âMaybe itâs just about being honest. With me. With yourself.â
You donât know how to respond, the truth of his words settling heavily on your chest. The silence returns, but this time it feels differentânot as cold, not as distant. You both sit there, side by side, swinging gently in the cool night air, the echoes of your childhood swirling around you.
Ëŕ¨ŕ§âď˝ĄË â
The walk back home from the park is quiet, but itâs a different kind of silence nowâless charged, more reflective. Sunghoon walks beside you, his hands in his pockets, and though neither of you speaks, thereâs a tentative sense of peace settling between you.
The night air feels lighter as you near your house, and you glance over at him, wondering if this fragile understanding between you will last. Just as youâre about to say something, you hear itâa voice calling your name from across the street.Â
âY/N!â
You freeze, your heart skipping a beat at the sound of Danielâs voice. Itâs impossible. He shouldnât be here. Slowly, you turn, and there he is, standing under a streetlight, his face a mixture of desperation and determination.
âY/N, wait!â he calls again, hurrying toward you, his voice strained with urgency.
You can feel your blood run cold as he approaches. Sunghoon stiffens beside you, his gaze hardening the moment he sees Daniel. You swallow, taking an instinctive step back, every muscle in your body tensing as the man youâd left behind in the U.S. closes the distance between you.
âWhat the hell are you doing here?â you manage, your voice shaking with equal parts disbelief and anger.
Danielâs eyes are pleading, his hands reaching out like heâs trying to reel you back in. âI came to find you. To explain everything. I messed up, Y/N, but we can fix this. You canât just run away like this.â
Sunghoon moves slightly closer to you, his presence a shield as you stand frozen, trying to process the surreal scene unfolding in front of you. The front door to your house swings open, and your parents step out, concern etched across their faces. They must have heard the commotion from inside.
âY/N? Whatâs going on out here?â your mother asks, her gaze moving between you, Daniel, and Sunghoon. Your father follows, frowning deeply as he takes in the scene.
Daniel seems to seize the moment, stepping toward you again. âI made a mistake, okay? I know I hurt you, but we can work this out. We were so close to the wedding, Y/N. Donât throw it all away because of one mistake.â
The words hit you like a punch to the gut, the weight of the betrayal crashing down on you all over again. Your motherâs eyes widen as she glances between the two of you. âWhat⌠mistake?â she asks slowly, her voice tight with worry.
You donât want to say it. You donât want to admit it in front of your parents, in front of Sunghoon, but the truth is too heavy to keep inside any longer. You take a deep breath, your voice trembling as the words finally spill out.
âHe cheated,â you say, your voice breaking slightly. âWith someone else. Thatâs why I left.â
The air seems to freeze around you. Your mother gasps, her hand flying to her mouth in shock. Your fatherâs expression hardens, his eyes narrowing as he stares at Daniel. And Sunghoon⌠Sunghoonâs fists clench at his sides, the barely restrained anger radiating off him in waves.
âHow dare you?â your fatherâs voice is like steel, cold and furious. âHow dare you come here after what youâve done?â
Daniel takes a step back, looking genuinely shaken by the fury directed at him. âIt was a mistake,â he insists, his voice desperate. âIt didnât mean anything. I love Y/N, and weâre supposed to be getting married. I justâI want to fix things.â
Your mother, usually calm and collected, is trembling with emotion. âYou think you can fix this?â she demands, her voice rising. âAfter what youâve done to her? After breaking her heart like this?â
You feel Sunghoonâs hand on your arm, a silent gesture of support as everything unfolds around you. His voice is low, but every word drips with barely controlled fury. âYou think you can just show up here and make everything better? She doesnât need you anymore. Get lost.â
âStay out of this. Itâs none of your business.â Daniel tells sunghoon, his jaw clenching at the sight of him pleading for forgiveness.
Daniel looks between you and your parents, his panic growing. âY/N, please,â he pleads. âWeâve been through so much together. You canât just-
Your father steps forward now, his voice firm and filled with authority. âGet off my property,â he says, his eyes narrowing as he stares down Daniel. âYouâve done enough damage.â
Daniel looks panicked, his desperation clear as he looks at you one last time. âY/Nââ
âGo,â you say quietly, your voice steady despite the turmoil in your heart. âJust⌠go.â
Sunghoon is still fuming beside you, but he doesnât move. He waits, fists clenched, as Daniel hesitates for a moment longer before finally turning and walking back down the street. His footsteps fade into the night, leaving behind an unbearable silence.
Your parents stand by the door, your motherâs hand on your fatherâs arm as they watch you carefully. Sunghoon stands stiffly beside you, his anger simmering just beneath the surface.
âIâm so sorry you had to find out like this,â you murmur, mostly to Sunghoon. He turns to look at you, his expression softening ever so slightly. Thereâs still anger in his eyes, but beneath it, you see something elseâconcern, hurt, maybe even guilt for not knowing sooner.
âWhy didnât you tell me?â he asks, his voice low, but thereâs no accusation in his tone. Just quiet frustration and sadness.
You swallow hard, the weight of everything finally hitting you. âI didnât want anyone to know,â you say, your voice barely above a whisper. âI just⌠I couldnât.â
Sunghoonâs gaze lingers on you for a moment longer before he finally lets out a slow breath. He doesnât say anything, but the tension between you begins to ease. Slowly, the weight on your chest starts to lift, even if only a little.
As the tense moment begins to settle, your parents usher everyone back inside, their expressions a mix of concern and disbelief. Sunghoon follows you quietly, his usual confident demeanor replaced by a somber silence. Inside, the atmosphere is heavy with unspoken words and lingering shock from Daniel's unexpected visit.
Your mother offers tea, her hands trembling slightly as she pours, trying to find some semblance of normalcy in the midst of the chaos. Sunghoon remains quiet, his eyes fixed on his tea as he sits opposite you at the kitchen table. The air feels charged with unresolved tension, each passing second stretching the fragile peace thinner.
âI canât believe he had the audacity to show up here,â your father finally breaks the silence, his voice rough with suppressed anger. âAfter what he did to you.â
You nod silently, unable to find the words to explain or justify Danielâs actions. The betrayal still feels fresh, the wound reopened by his sudden appearance.
Sunghoon finally speaks, his voice calm but tinged with an edge you canât quite place. âWhy didnât you tell me?â His eyes meet yours, searching for answers. âYou could have⌠I could have helped.â
You swallow hard, the guilt weighing heavily on you. âI didnât want to burden anyone,â you admit quietly. âAnd I didnât want you to hate me.â
Sunghoonâs expression softens slightly, a flicker of understanding crossing his features. âI could never hate you,â he says softly, his gaze unwavering. âBut I hate seeing you hurt.â
Your heart clenches at his words, a mixture of relief and sadness washing over you. âIâm sorry,â is all you manage to say, the weight of your emotions threatening to spill over.
Your mother places a gentle hand on your shoulder, offering silent comfort. âSweetheart, you donât have to apologize,â she says softly, her eyes filled with maternal concern. âWeâre just glad youâre home now.â
The tears youâd been holding back finally spill over, and you let out a shaky breath. âI just⌠I needed to come back,â you admit, the truth finally surfacing. âEverything fell apart, and I didnât know where else to go.â
Sunghoon reaches across the table, his hand hesitating for a moment before gently covering yours. His touch is warm and reassuring, grounding you in the midst of turmoil. âYouâre home now,â he says quietly, his voice steady. âAnd weâre here for you.â
You nod gratefully, overwhelmed by the support of your family and the unexpected comfort from Sunghoon. Despite everything, a sense of relief washes over youâthe first glimmer of hope that maybe, just maybe, you can begin to heal.
Ëŕ¨ŕ§âď˝ĄË â
The evening wears on, the tension gradually easing as conversations shift from the shock of Danielâs visit to lighter topics. Your parents share stories of neighbors and friends, trying to lighten the mood, while Sunghoon remains by your side, a silent presence that speaks volumes.
As the night draws to a close, you find yourself standing at the front door with Sunghoon, the faint glow of streetlights casting shadows around you. He looks at you, his eyes soft with unspoken understanding.
âThank you,â you say quietly, breaking the silence between you. âFor everything.â
Sunghoon offers a small smile, his hand brushing yours briefly. âYou donât have to thank me,â he replies gently. âIâm just glad youâre okay.â
You take a deep breath, the weight on your shoulders a little lighter than before. âI think Iâm going to be,â you admit, a tentative smile tugging at your lips.
Sunghoonâs smile widens slightly, a hint of relief in his eyes. âGood,â he says softly. âAnd if you ever need anything⌠Iâm just a phone call away.. Iâm also right next door.â
With a small smile, he turns to leave, and you watch him disappear into his house, a sense of gratitude filling your heart. As you close the door behind you and lean against it, you realize that while things may still be uncertain, youâre not facing them alone anymore. And for now, thatâs enough.
Ëŕ¨ŕ§âď˝ĄË â
Over the next few weeks, life began to settle into a routine, the shock of your sudden return starting to fade into the background. Each day, you found yourself easing back into the rhythm of your old life in ways you hadnât expected. It was strange at first, being in your childhood home again, but soon it began to feel familiarâcomforting, even. The late-night conversations with your mom, your dadâs predictable quips over breakfast, the peaceful quiet of your small neighborhood.
And then, there was Sunghoon.
At first, things between you remained cautious and quiet, both of you still navigating the unfamiliar territory of this new chapter in your lives. But bit by bit, as the days passed, the invisible walls that had sprung up between you began to crumble.
It started small. A casual conversation as you bumped into each other outside, a shared glance when you both found yourselves at the convenience store at the same time. Each interaction felt like a tentative step back toward something you thought was lost.
You had always been able to talk to Sunghoon so easily, and it wasnât long before the old rhythm between you began to resurface. The awkward tension that had once hung over you melted away, replaced by the comfortable ease youâd always shared. Whether it was a quick coffee at the cafĂŠ you used to frequent as teenagers, or the impromptu walks around the neighborhood, it felt like the years apart had never happened. The quiet moments spent together became familiar again, and with them came a warmth you hadnât realized you missed.
One afternoon, you were both sitting in the park where you used to spend hours as kids, watching the leaves fall as autumn began to set in. Sunghoon glanced over at you, a small smile tugging at the corner of his mouth.
âRemember when we used to race to see who could swing the highest?â he asked, his tone light but nostalgic.
You laughed, nodding as memories of your childhood flooded back. âYou always won. I swear you had superpowers or something.â
He chuckled softly, his gaze shifting to the old swingset. âI wasnât that fast. You were just slow.â
You nudged him playfully, rolling your eyes. âSays the guy who fell off the monkey bars twice trying to impress Yeji.â
Sunghoon winced dramatically, rubbing the back of his neck as if the memory still stung. âYeah, well⌠not one of my finer moments.â
Moments like these became more frequent. The playful banter, the shared laughs, the easy way you slipped back into each otherâs livesâit all felt natural, as if no time had passed. And with each passing day, the bond between you grew stronger, echoing the closeness you had once shared as children.
Some days, youâd find yourselves sitting on the porch steps of your house, talking until the sun dipped below the horizon. Other days, youâd meet up for late-night snacks at the convenience store, a habit that reminded you of your carefree teenage days.
But it wasnât just about the nostalgia or the familiarity. There was something deeper now, something unspoken but present in the way he looked at you or the way his gaze lingered a little longer than before. It was subtle, but undeniable.
Ëŕ¨ŕ§âď˝ĄË â
One evening, as you both sat under the stars in your backyard, Sunghoon turned to you, his expression thoughtful. âItâs weird, isnât it?â he said quietly.
You looked at him, curious. âWhat is?â
He hesitated for a moment, then shrugged lightly. âHow everything changes but somehow stays the same.â
You knew what he meant. The years had changed both of you, but sitting there with him, it felt like you were slipping back into the simplicity of what you had beforeâbefore life got complicated, before youâd left, before everything.
âYeah,â you agreed softly. âBut in a good way.â
He smiled at that, his gaze meeting yours for a brief, charged moment. âIn a good way,â he repeated quietly.
And just like that, the past weeks had brought you closer to him again. It felt like the Sunghoon you knewâyour childhood best friendâwas back in your life, but with something more layered beneath the surface now. The bond you shared had always been special, but as the days passed, you began to realize it wasnât just about the past. It was about the present, about where you were both headed next.
Little by little, it felt like old times, but it also felt like something new was beginning to bloom between you. Something you werenât ready to name yet, but couldnât deny.
Ëŕ¨ŕ§âď˝ĄË â
Sunghoon had always been good at hiding his feelings. Through all the years of friendship, he kept his crush buried deep, tucked away in the corners of his heart. It was easier that way. You had always been oblivious to it, lost in your own world of school, dreams, and later, the whirlwind of your life in the U.S. But now, with you back in his life after years apart, those old, buried feelings were starting to resurface, no matter how hard he tried to keep them at bay.
He remembered high school all too well. You were both juniors, sitting together at the school library late into the evening, pretending to study but really just talking about everything and nothing. Heâd watch you as you rambled on about whatever topic had captured your interest that day, completely unaware of the way his gaze would linger on your face, his heart doing that stupid fluttering thing whenever you laughed.
He could still recall one particular moment as clear as day. You had been struggling with an essay, the stress getting to you, and Sunghoon had tried to help. Youâd glanced up at him, frustration in your eyes, and heâd frozen. For a second, he swore his heart had stopped altogether. You were wearing his jacket that day because youâd forgotten yours at home, and he couldnât focus on anything but how right it looked on you. How much he wanted to tell you that you could keep it forever.
But instead, heâd just shrugged, offering a teasing, âMaybe youâre overthinking it. Itâs not a love letter or anything.â
You had thrown your pencil at him, rolling your eyes. âThanks for the help, genius,â youâd muttered with a laugh, completely oblivious to the way his heart had been racing just from sitting so close to you.
And that was how it always was. You, perfectly unaware. Him, painfully aware.
Now, as he spent more time with you, it was like those feelings had never left. Theyâd just been waiting, buried but not forgotten, and the longer you were back, the harder it became to ignore them. He found himself watching you again, the way he had back in high schoolâonly this time, it felt different. You were different. More grown, more guarded, but still the same girl heâd fallen for all those years ago.
The late-night walks, the quiet conversations under the stars, the way you leaned on him like you used toâall of it was stirring something in him. He tried to tell himself it was just nostalgia, that he was just getting caught up in the past, but the truth was, it was more than that.
It was the way you smiled when you caught him off guard, the way your laughter sounded like home, the way you instinctively reached for him whenever you needed comfort. It all felt too familiar, too easy, and too real.
One evening, as you both sat on the porch steps of your house, watching the sunset, Sunghoon glanced at you out of the corner of his eye. You were talking about something from work, your voice soft, but he wasnât really listening. His mind was somewhere elseâstuck on the way you looked in the fading light, like the girl heâd spent all of high school silently pining over.
It hit him then, harder than he expected, that those feelings hadnât gone anywhere. Not really. He had just buried them because heâd thought he had to. But now, sitting here with you again, laughing like you always did, he wondered if maybe those feelings never really had a chance to fade.
âSunghoon?â you asked, breaking him out of his thoughts.
âHuh?â He blinked, trying to focus on what you were saying.
âYou okay?â You tilted your head, giving him that look you always did when you could tell something was off.
âYeah, just spaced out,â he lied, offering a small smile.
You didnât push, but you gave him a soft smile in return, nudging him playfully. âYouâre not very good at pretending to listen.â
He chuckled, shaking his head. âSorry. Iâll do better next time.â
But as you laughed and went on with your story, Sunghoon couldnât stop the thoughts racing through his mind. How long could he keep pretending that nothing had changed? That his heart wasnât pulling him back to the same place it had always been?
It was different now, though. You werenât just the girl heâd fallen for in high school. You were the woman who had been through heartbreak, who had returned home looking for something familiar, something safe. And despite everything, Sunghoon realized that he still wanted to be that for you. He wanted to be the person you turned toânot just as a friend, but maybe something more.
But the question remained, did you see him that way, or would you always just see the boy next door, your childhood best friend?
His feelings had always been intenseâhe knew that much. But what he didnât expect was how overwhelming theyâd become now that you were back in his life. It wasnât just nostalgia or some fleeting crush he could brush off. No, this ran deeper, more complicated than he was willing to admit. Every time he was near you, his heart ached with the weight of everything heâd kept hidden for so long.
And thatâs why he started avoiding you.
It wasnât something he planned, but he couldnât help it. The more time you spent together, the harder it became to act like everything was normal. Like he wasnât on the verge of telling you exactly how he felt, of confessing that these feelings had never gone away. But how could he? Youâd just come out of one of the worst situations imaginable, and Sunghoon knew you needed time to heal. The last thing he wanted was to complicate things with his feelings, especially when you were clearly not ready for it.
So he pulled back.
It started with small thingsâcanceled plans, excuses about being busy with work, avoiding your messages for a little longer than usual. He didnât want to lie to you, but he also couldnât keep pretending that everything was fine. Every time he saw you, he felt like he was standing on the edge of something he wasnât ready for, and he knew you werenât either.
Yeji noticed first.
âYouâve been acting weird,â she said one evening as they grabbed coffee together. She leaned forward, narrowing her eyes at him. âWhatâs going on?â
Sunghoon shrugged, avoiding her gaze as he sipped his drink. âNothing. Just busy.â
Yeji scoffed. âBusy, huh? Is that why youâve been dodging Y/Nâs calls too?â
He flinched at that, his grip tightening on his cup. Of course, Yeji would notice. She was sharp like thatâalways had been.
âYouâre being ridiculous, you know,â she continued, crossing her arms. âSheâs your best friend. She just got back after everything with Daniel, and youâre avoiding her? Whatâs your problem?â
Sunghoon sighed, rubbing a hand over his face. âIâm not avoiding her,â he mumbled, though he knew it wasnât true.
Yeji raised an eyebrow, clearly not buying it. âReally? Because thatâs what it looks like from where Iâm standing.â
He stayed quiet, unsure of how to explain what was going on in his head. How could he possibly tell Yeji the truth when he hadnât even come to terms with it himself?
âLook, I get it,â Yeji said after a moment, her voice softening. âSheâs been through a lot, and maybe you think giving her space is the right thing to do. But Sunghoon, she needs you. You two have always been there for each other. Whatâs really going on?â
Sunghoon glanced up at her, his chest tight with the weight of what he was about to say. âItâs just⌠complicated.â
Yejiâs eyes widened slightly, as if realizing something. âOh my God. You still like her, donât you?â
The words hung in the air between them, heavy and undeniable. Sunghoon didnât answer at first, but the look on his face mustâve said enough because Yeji leaned back in her chair, her expression softening.
âYou never got over her,â she said quietly.
Sunghoon sighed again, feeling like the dam heâd been holding back was starting to crack. âNo,â he admitted, his voice low. âI never did.â
Yeji didnât say anything for a long moment, just watching him with a mixture of sympathy and understanding. Finally, she leaned forward, her tone gentle but firm. âYou know youâre gonna have to deal with this, right? Avoiding her isnât going to make it go away.â
âI know,â he muttered, running a hand through his hair. âBut itâs not that simple. Sheâs been through so much, Yeji. She doesnât need me coming in and messing everything up with how I feel.â
âShe needs her best friend,â Yeji countered. âYouâre not going to mess anything up by being there for her.â
âBut itâs more than that,â Sunghoon said, his voice tight. âI donât just want to be her best friend, Yeji. I want⌠more. And if I tell her that now, when sheâs still dealing with everything from Daniel, what if I make things worse?â
Yeji leaned back, crossing her arms again as she considered his words. âSunghoon,â she said after a beat, her voice gentle but serious, âyouâre not going to ruin anything by being honest with her. But youâre rightâsheâs not ready for something like that right now. So maybe you donât need to tell her everything just yet. But avoiding her? Thatâs not the answer either.â
Sunghoon frowned, knowing she was right but still feeling conflicted. âI just⌠I donât want to hurt her,â he said quietly.
âI know,â Yeji said softly. âBut trust me, youâre hurting her more by pulling away.â
Sunghoon looked down at his hands, feeling the weight of her words settle over him. He didnât want to hurt you, not after everything youâd already been through. But how could he face you when he could barely manage to keep his feelings under control?
âI just need some time,â he said, almost to himself. âTo figure this out.â
Yeji sighed but nodded, though her expression remained concerned. âJust donât take too long. Sheâs going to notice somethingâs off.â
Sunghoon nodded slowly, knowing deep down that Yeji was right. But for now, he wasnât sure what else to do. All he knew was that the feelings he had buried for so long were clawing their way back to the surface, and no matter how much he wanted to, he couldnât ignore them forever.Â
Ëŕ¨ŕ§âď˝ĄË â
The next few days felt different. You couldnât quite put your finger on it, but something was off with Sunghoon. He was distantâmore than usual. Whenever you tried to hang out like old times, he found an excuse. Too busy with work, too tired from errands, too anything but here.
At first, you tried to ignore it. Maybe he really was busy. Maybe it was just a phase. After all, coming back had changed a lot, for everyone. But the more it happened, the more unsettled you became. You werenât used to Sunghoon being like this, and you couldnât help but wonder if youâd done something wrong.
The morning after your last attempt to make plans, you found yourself sitting at the kitchen table, picking at breakfast while your mind raced. Your mom was bustling around, wiping the counters and humming softly to herself.
âYou look distracted, honey,â she said, glancing over at you. âEverything okay?â
You forced a smile, nodding. âYeah, just thinking.â
Your mom raised an eyebrow, giving you that knowing look she always did when she didnât quite believe you. âDoes this have anything to do with why Sunghoonâs been acting so strange?â
You blinked, caught off guard. âWhat?â
âCome on, Y/N,â she said, turning to face you with a small smile. âIâve known that boy his whole life. Heâs always been so close to you, but lately, heâs been keeping his distance. Somethingâs bothering him, and I think it might have to do with you.â
Your heart sank at her words, and suddenly, all the little things youâd been trying to ignore came rushing to the surface. You hadnât imagined it. Sunghoon was pulling away.
âI donât know, Mom,â you mumbled, fiddling with the edge of your napkin. âHeâs been busy, I guess.â
âMaybe,â she said thoughtfully, âbut busy doesnât explain why he avoids you whenever you come over. I donât think this is about work.â
You stared down at your plate, your chest tightening. The thought of losing Sunghoonâs presence after everything that had happened made your stomach twist. Heâd always been your rockâthe one person who understood you better than anyone. If he was pulling away, what did that mean?
âIâll talk to him,â you said softly, more to yourself than to your mom.
âGood,â your mom said with a warm smile. âIâm sure itâs nothing a good conversation canât fix.â
But as you made your way upstairs to get ready, you couldnât shake the feeling that it wasnât going to be that simple. Sunghoon wasnât the type to pull away without a reason, and you had a sinking suspicion that whatever was going on, it wasnât something heâd be willing to talk about easily.
Ëŕ¨ŕ§âď˝ĄË â
Later that afternoon, you found yourself sitting outside on the porch, staring off into the distance as you tried to make sense of it all. The crisp autumn air brushed against your skin, the quiet neighborhood almost too peaceful for the storm of emotions swirling inside you. The longer you thought about it, the more frustrated you became.
Sunghoon wasnât just distantâhe was avoiding you. And that hurt more than you were willing to admit. Youâd been through so much already, and now it felt like you were losing the one person whoâd always been there for you.
Determined not to let this go on any longer, you decided to confront him. You grabbed your phone, quickly typing out a message.
Hey, are you free to talk?
You stared at the screen, waiting for a reply, your heart pounding in your chest. Minutes passed, and just when you thought he might not respond, your phone buzzed.
Busy today. Maybe another time?
Your frustration flared. You knew he wasnât that busy. This was just another excuse.
Without thinking, you typed back.
Sunghoon, whatâs going on? Youâve been avoiding me for days. Did I do something wrong?
You hit send, your fingers trembling slightly. The silence that followed felt suffocating, each passing second adding to the weight in your chest.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, his reply came.
No, you didnât do anything wrong. Iâm just⌠dealing with some stuff. Iâll explain later.
You frowned at the vague response, feeling even more confused. What kind of âstuffâ was he dealing with that he couldnât even talk to you about it? You started typing another message but stopped, realizing that pushing him wouldnât help. If he wasnât ready to talk, there wasnât much you could do.
But that didnât make the sting of his distance any less painful.
You put your phone down, staring out at the quiet street once more. Sunghoon was hiding somethingâsomething big. And no matter how hard you tried to convince yourself it wasnât your fault, you couldnât shake the feeling that it was connected to you.
For the rest of the day, your mind wouldnât let it go. What could possibly make him pull away like this? You had no idea what was going on with him, but one thing was clear: you needed to get to the bottom of it. Because the longer this went on, the more it felt like you were losing him. And you couldnât bear the thought of that, not nowânot after everything youâd been through.
Ëŕ¨ŕ§âď˝ĄË â
The next few days were a blur of half-hearted attempts to distract yourself, but Sunghoonâs distance lingered at the back of your mind. Each time you saw him, whether by chance or at family gatherings, it felt like there was this invisible wall between you two, and it hurt more than you wanted to admit.
He wasnât avoiding you entirely, but something was definitely off. The easy-going conversations you used to have were now strained. He barely looked at you, his responses shorter, and you couldnât help but notice how he always found some reason to leave early.
It was Saturday afternoon when Yeji invited you out for coffee. Sheâd noticed the tension too, but unlike you, she wasnât willing to let it slide.
âSo, you and Sunghoon,â she said as soon as you sat down, not even bothering with small talk. âWhatâs going on?â
You blinked, surprised by her directness. âWhat do you mean?â
Yeji gave you a look, crossing her arms. âYou know exactly what I mean, Y/N. Heâs been acting weird since you got back, and donât even try to tell me you havenât noticed.â
You sighed, staring down at your drink. âI donât know. Iâve tried to talk to him, but he just says heâs dealing with stuff. He wonât tell me whatâs wrong.â
Yeji tilted her head, her eyes narrowing in thought. âYou think itâs about Daniel?â she asks you, trying to allude to something more.
The mention of his name made your chest tighten. âI donât know. Maybe? He was weird even before he knew about Daniel.â
âHmm.â Yeji leaned back in her chair, crossing her arms. âThat boyâs always been complicated, but Iâve never seen him this off with you. Itâs like heâs avoiding somethingâsomething big.â
You frowned, feeling even more lost. âBut what? What could it be? I didnât do anything.â
Yeji tapped her fingers on the table, her gaze thoughtful. âMaybe itâs not about something you did. Maybe itâs something heâs dealing with.â
You shook your head. âHe wonât talk to me about it. He just keeps saying heâs busy, but itâs more than that. I can feel it.â
âOf course itâs more than that,â Yeji said, her voice firm. âSunghoonâs always been a terrible liar. Heâs hiding something, and my guess? It has something to do with how he feels about you.â
You blinked, staring at her in confusion. âWhat? What do you mean?â
Yeji sighed, giving you a soft smile. âCome on, Y/N. You really think heâs just your childhood best friend? That boy has been in love with you since high school.â
Your stomach dropped at her words. âNo, he hasnât,â you said quickly, shaking your head. âWeâre just friends. Heâs neverââ
âHeâs never told you,â Yeji finished for you, her tone gentle but serious. âBut trust me, itâs been there. Heâs always liked you, but he never acted on it because he didnât want to ruin what you two had. And now, with everything youâve been through, heâs probably even more scared of saying something.â
You stared at her, stunned into silence. The idea of Sunghoon having feelings for youâreal feelingsâhad never crossed your mind. Sure, youâd always been close, but heâd never given you any reason to think it was more than that. Right?
Yeji sighed, reaching across the table to pat your hand. âLook, Iâm not saying you have to do anything about it. But you need to talk to him. Heâs avoiding you because he doesnât know how to handle what heâs feeling. And im truly so sick of him moping around like a puppy.
You swallowed hard, your mind racing. Was it true? Had Sunghoon really been hiding his feelings all this time? And if he had, what did that mean for you? You couldnât even begin to process the possibility, not after everything that had happened with Daniel. You werenât ready for thisâcouldnât be.
âI donât know,â you mumbled, feeling overwhelmed. âI donât even know if Iâm ready to talk about it.â
Yeji gave you a sympathetic smile. âI get it. But Sunghoon is your best friend, and if you donât at least clear the air, this is just going to keep getting worse. Whatever happens, you both deserve to be honest with each other.â
You nodded slowly, knowing deep down that she was right. Avoiding the situation wasnât helping anyone. If Sunghoon was really struggling with his feelings, the least you could do was try to talk to him about it. But even as you told yourself that, a knot of anxiety settled in your chest.
Because if Sunghoon really had feelings for you, this was going to change everything. And after everything youâd already been through, you werenât sure if you were ready for more change.
But one thing was clear: something had to give. You couldnât keep pretending like everything was normal when it so clearly wasnât.
âIâll talk to him,â you finally said, your voice quiet but determined.
Yeji smiled, squeezing your hand. âGood. Youâll figure it out.â
But as you sat there, sipping your coffee and trying to keep your thoughts from spiraling, you couldnât shake the feeling that things were about to get a lot more complicated.
Ëŕ¨ŕ§âď˝ĄË â
That night, you found yourself staring at your phone, Sunghoonâs contact pulled up, your thumb hovering over the call button. The weight of Yejiâs words hung heavy in your mindâheâs always liked youâand the longer you thought about it, the more restless you became.
What if it was true? What if Sunghoon had been hiding his feelings all this time? The idea seemed impossible, but then again, youâd never imagined him pulling away like this either.
With a frustrated sigh, you locked your phone and tossed it onto the bed, running your hands through your hair. You couldnât just call him out of the blue. It had to be face-to-face. You had to know for sure, but the thought of confronting him sent a surge of anxiety through your chest. What would you even say?
Unable to stand the suffocating silence of your room, you grabbed your jacket and slipped out of the house, your feet carrying you in a familiar direction. The night air was cool against your skin as you headed toward the parkâthe same park where you, Sunghoon, and Yeji had spent countless afternoons as kids.
It was quiet when you arrived, the swing set creaking gently in the breeze. You hesitated for a moment before sitting down on one of the swings, the chains groaning under your weight as you gently kicked at the dirt beneath your feet. Memories of your childhood came flooding backâthe three of you racing to the swings, fighting over who could go higher, laughing until your sides hurt.
And then, Sunghoonâs face flashed in your mindâhis shy smile, his teasing words, the way heâd always looked out for you, even when you didnât realize it. Could Yeji really be right? Had he been feeling this way for years?
You were so lost in thought that you didnât hear the footsteps approaching until someone sat down on the swing next to you. You looked up, startled, only to see Sunghoon, his expression unreadable as he stared ahead.
For a moment, neither of you spoke, the silence between you heavy and awkward. You werenât sure whether to be relieved or more anxious that heâd found you here.
âI didnât think youâd be out this late,â Sunghoon finally said, his voice quiet.
âI couldnât sleep,â you replied, your fingers curling around the swingâs chain. âNeeded some air.â
He nodded, his gaze still fixed on the horizon. âMe too.â
You wanted to ask himâneeded toâbut the words felt stuck in your throat. Instead, you sat there, side by side in silence, the tension between you growing thicker with each passing second.
Finally, you couldnât take it anymore. âSunghoon, whatâs going on?â you asked, your voice barely above a whisper.
He didnât answer right away. His jaw clenched, his hands gripping the chains of his swing tightly. When he finally spoke, his voice was low, almost strained. âIâve been trying to figure that out myself.â
Your heart skipped a beat at the cryptic response. âIs it me?â you asked, turning to face him fully. âDid I do something wrong?â
His eyes snapped to yours, wide and alarmed. âNo, Y/N, you didnât do anything wrong.â
âThen why are you avoiding me?â you pressed, frustration bubbling to the surface. âYouâve been acting so strange ever since I came back. I donât get it.â
Sunghoon sighed, his gaze dropping to the ground as he raked a hand through his hair. âItâs not that simple.â
âThen explain it to me,â you said, your voice soft but pleading. âPlease, Sunghoon. I donât want to lose you.â
His expression tightened at your words, and for a long moment, he didnât say anything. You could see the internal battle playing out behind his eyes, the conflict heâd been hiding so well suddenly visible. When he finally spoke, his voice was raw, vulnerable in a way youâd never heard before.
âI donât want to hurt you, Y/N.â
His words hung heavy in the air, and your heart clenched in your chest. âYouâre not hurting me. Youâre my best friend, Sunghoon. Whatever it is, we can get through it.â
He let out a bitter laugh, shaking his head. âThatâs the problem. I donât know if we can.â
You frowned, confusion swirling in your mind. âWhat do you mean?â
Sunghoonâs eyes met yours, and for the first time, you saw the weight of everything heâd been holding back. His next words came out in a rush, as if heâd been holding them in for far too long.
âIâve always liked you, Y/N. More than just a friend. Since high school, maybe even before then. But I never told you because⌠because I didnât want to mess things up. And then you left, and I thought Iâd gotten over it. But now that youâre backâŚâ He trailed off, his voice catching in his throat. âItâs like all those feelings just came rushing back, and I donât know what to do with them. I canât act on them, not after everything youâve been through with Daniel. Itâs not fair to you.â
Your heart pounded in your chest, Sunghoonâs confession hanging in the air between you like a fragile thread. Youâd always thought of him as your best friend, the one constant in your life that had never changed. But now⌠now everything was different.
âSunghoonâŚâ you whispered, at a loss for words.
âIâm sorry,â he said quickly, standing up from the swing as if he couldnât bear to stay any longer. âI shouldnât have said anything. Iâllââ
âNo,â you said, cutting him off, standing up too. âDonât run away. Not again.â
He looked at you, his expression torn, and for a moment, you saw the vulnerability in his eyesâthe fear of rejection, the fear of losing you completely. You took a deep breath, trying to steady your racing heart.
âSunghoon, I⌠I donât know what to say,â you admitted, your voice trembling. âI never knew you felt that way.â
âI didnât want you to know,â he said quietly. âBut now⌠now I canât hide it anymore.â
The silence between you was deafening, the weight of his confession settling heavily on your shoulders. You didnât know how to respond, not after everything youâd been through. But one thing was certain: nothing between you and Sunghoon would ever be the same again.
Ëŕ¨ŕ§âď˝ĄË â
The days that followed felt surreal. Sunghoonâs confession lingered in your mind like a persistent echo, one that you couldnât quite shake off. Every time you replayed his words, your chest tightened, and your thoughts spiraled into confusion. You didnât know how to feelâabout him, about your past, or even about yourself. You spent so many years thinking of Sunghoon as your constant, your rock, your best friend, and now all of that felt uncertain.
Sunghoon avoided you even more than before, making sure he was never in the same place as you for too long. At first, you gave him space, understanding that things were complicated. But the distance started to gnaw at you. Heâd always been the one person you could rely on, and now, when you needed him most, he was pulling away.
It was Yeji who finally brought it up, sitting across from you at the cafĂŠ as she studied your downcast expression.
âYou look like youâve been hit by a truck,â she said bluntly, sipping her iced coffee.
You sighed, pushing your own drink around the table without taking a sip. âIâm fine.â
âYouâre not,â she said flatly. âAnd let me guess, it has something to do with Sunghoon?â
You didnât answer right away, but the slight flicker in your eyes was enough for Yeji to know she was right. She groaned, leaning forward.
âI swear, if you two donât figure this out, Iâm going to lock you in a room until you do.â
You managed a weak smile at her joke, but it faded quickly. âItâs complicated, Yeji.â
âEverything is complicated with you two. But the longer you let this sit, the worse itâs going to get.â
âI donât even know what to say to him,â you admitted, sinking into your seat. âHe told me how he feels, but⌠Iâm not ready for that. I donât know if Iâll ever be.â
Yeji studied you carefully, her expression softening. âYouâve been through a lot with Daniel. No one expects you to be ready for something like this. But Sunghoon is⌠well, heâs not Daniel. You know heâd never hurt you.â
Your throat tightened at her words. âThatâs what makes it worse. I donât want to hurt him either.â
âYou wonât,â Yeji said confidently. âNot if youâre honest with him. He knows what youâve been through, and heâll understand. But avoiding each other like this isnât helping anyone.â
You rubbed your temples, feeling the weight of it all pressing down on you. âI donât know, Yeji. Itâs just⌠too much.â
She reached across the table, placing her hand on top of yours. âTake it one step at a time. Sunghoonâs not going anywhere. He just needs to know where you stand.â
You nodded, knowing deep down that she was right. The tension between you and Sunghoon had become unbearable, and if you didnât talk to him soon, it would only get worse.
Ëŕ¨ŕ§âď˝ĄË â
Later that evening, you found yourself standing in front of Sunghoonâs house, your heart racing. You hadnât planned to come here, but your feet had carried you here almost on instinct. His confession had thrown everything into chaos, and you needed to clear the air, for both your sakes.
You took a deep breath before knocking on the door. The wait felt excruciatingly long, but finally, the door opened to reveal Sunghoon, his expression shifting from surprise to something more guarded.
âY/N,â he said, his voice hesitant. âWhat are you doing here?â
âI needed to talk to you,â you replied, trying to steady your voice. âCan we?â
He looked uncertain for a moment, but eventually, he stepped aside, letting you in. You followed him to the living room, the air between you heavy with unspoken words.
Sunghoon stood by the window, his hands stuffed into his pockets, avoiding your gaze. âWhat is it?â
You took a seat on the couch, feeling your pulse quicken. âAbout what you told me the other nightâŚâ
He tensed, his shoulders stiffening. âYou donât have to say anything. I get it.â
âNo,â you interrupted, your voice firmer than you intended. âYou donât get it. You canât just drop something like that on me and then disappear, Sunghoon. Weâve been friends for years. I deserve to know whatâs going on with you.â
Sunghoon sighed, finally turning to face you. âI was trying to give you space. I didnât want to make things harder for you after everything with Daniel.â
âI appreciate that,â you said, your voice softening. âBut shutting me out isnât helping either of us.â
There was a long pause as Sunghoon ran a hand through his hair, clearly struggling with his own emotions. âI didnât know what else to do, Y/N. Iâve been holding this in for so long, and now that itâs out, I donât know how to act around you.â
âYou donât have to act any differently,â you said quietly. âBut you also canât avoid me forever.â
Sunghoon stared at you, a conflicted look in his eyes. âI just⌠I donât want to make things worse. I know youâre not ready for⌠anything like this, and Iâm not going to push you. But itâs hard, Y/N. Itâs hard being around you and pretending like everything is the same when Iâve been feeling this way for so long.â
You looked down, your heart heavy with guilt. âI donât want to lose you, Sunghoon. Youâre one of the most important people in my life, and I canât imagine things without you. But Iâm not ready for more, not after everything that happened.â
âI know,â Sunghoon said softly, his expression pained. âAnd Iâll wait. Iâll always wait for you, Y/N. But that doesnât make it any easier.â
The vulnerability in his voice hit you hard, and for the first time, you saw just how deep his feelings ran. He wasnât asking for anything from youâhe was just being honest, and it was tearing him apart. You took a shaky breath, feeling the weight of it all crashing down on you.
âIâm sorry, Sunghoon,â you whispered, your voice breaking. âI wish things were different.â
He shook his head, stepping closer to you. âDonât be sorry. Itâs not your fault. I just⌠I just needed you to know.â
The silence stretched between you, both of you caught in the painful reality of the situation. Neither of you knew what the future held, but for now, all you could do was take it one step at a time.
Ëŕ¨ŕ§âď˝ĄË â
The days passed in an uneasy quiet, the tension between you and Sunghoon lingering like an unspoken secret. He no longer avoided you as much, but the once easy-going banter you shared felt stilted, weighed down by everything unsaid. You couldnât stop thinking about his confession. It felt like a constant reminder of how complicated everything had become. No matter how much you tried to focus on anything else, Sunghoonâs words echoed in your mind, making it impossible to pretend like things were back to normal.
One evening, as you sat in your room, you heard a knock on the door. Your mom poked her head in, smiling warmly.
âDinnerâs ready, sweetheart,â she said, her eyes soft with concern. âYou okay?â
You plastered on a smile, nodding. âYeah, just lost in thought.â
She gave you a knowing look. âYouâve been doing a lot of that lately. Is everything okay between you and Sunghoon?â
Your heart skipped a beat. âWhy do you ask?â
âYou two have always been inseparable, but things seem⌠different now. You can talk to me, you know.â
You bit your lip, unsure of how much to say. You hadnât told your parents anything about Sunghoonâs confession, and you werenât sure you could without making things more complicated. âItâs nothing, Mom. Weâre fine. Just adjusting, I guess.â
She raised an eyebrow but didnât push further. âAlright, but you know weâre here for you. If you need to talk about anythingâabout Sunghoon or anything elseâyou can always come to us.â
You nodded, feeling the weight of her words settle over you. She meant well, but the last thing you wanted was to burden your parents with the tangled mess of your emotions.
After dinner, you found yourself wandering outside, needing fresh air to clear your head. Without thinking, you walked down the familiar path to the park, your steps slow and deliberate. The quiet of the evening felt comforting, a stark contrast to the storm of thoughts swirling inside you. You found your way back to the swings, sitting down as you often did when you needed to think.
As you rocked gently back and forth, your mind drifted back to high school. Back to the carefree days when things between you, Sunghoon, and Yeji had been simple. The memories were vividâlate nights studying together, hanging out at the park after school, and how Sunghoon had always been there, a steady presence by your side. Back then, youâd never questioned his loyalty, never thought twice about the way he always seemed to put you first. But now, looking back, you wondered how you hadnât noticed the way he looked at you, the quiet way his feelings had been growing all along.
You remembered one particular moment, just before you left for the U.S. Sunghoon had walked you home after a late study session, the two of you chatting about nothing in particular. It had been a chilly night, and heâd offered you his jacket without hesitation. Youâd laughed, teased him for being too polite, but his expression had been serious, almost sad. At the time, you hadnât thought much of it, chalking it up to the fact that youâd be leaving soon. But now, in hindsight, you realized it had been more than that. Sunghoon had been struggling with his feelings, even back then, and youâd been completely oblivious.
A pang of guilt hit you as you thought about how long he mustâve held everything inside, how hard it mustâve been for him to see you leave, knowing you didnât feel the same way. And now, after everything that had happened with Daniel, Sunghoon was still there, waiting for you in the background, even though you couldnât give him what he wanted.
âWhy does everything have to be so complicated?â you muttered to yourself, staring up at the darkening sky.
Just as you were about to lose yourself in more memories, you heard footsteps approaching from behind. You didnât have to turn around to know who it was. Sunghoon.
âYouâre here again,â he said, his voice quiet but familiar as he sat on the swing next to you.
âI needed to think,â you replied softly, your eyes still focused on the ground. âThis place⌠it helps.â
Sunghoon nodded, his gaze drifting up toward the sky. âYeah. Itâs always been like that, hasnât it?â
A comfortable silence fell between you, though it was laced with the tension of everything unsaid. For a moment, it felt like old timesâjust the two of you, sitting together in quiet understanding. But you knew things were different now, no matter how much you wanted to pretend otherwise.
Finally, you broke the silence, your voice tentative. âSunghoon⌠I know things have been weird lately. And I hate it.â
He didnât respond right away, but you could feel the weight of his gaze on you. âI know.â
âI justââ You hesitated, trying to find the right words. âI donât want to lose you. I donât want things to be like this between us.â
Sunghoon sighed, running a hand through his hair. âI donât want that either, Y/N. But I donât know how to make it less weird. I canât just forget what I said.â
âIâm not asking you to,â you said quickly. âBut maybe we can figure this out. I need you, Sunghoon. I donât know what Iâd do without you.â
He looked at you, his expression conflicted. âI need you too. But thatâs the problem.â
Your heart clenched at his words. You could see the struggle in his eyesâthe fight between his feelings for you and his desire to protect you from more pain. It wasnât fair to him, and you knew it. But you didnât know how to fix it, how to make things go back to the way they were.
âIâm sorry,â you whispered, the guilt heavy in your chest.
Sunghoon shook his head, his voice soft but firm. âDonât be. Itâs not your fault. None of this is.â
You sat there in silence, the distance between you feeling both vast and fragile. There was so much you wanted to say, so much you needed to figure out. But for now, all you could do was sit side by side, both of you trying to navigate the complicated mess of feelings that had always been there, just beneath the surface.
Ëŕ¨ŕ§âď˝ĄË â
Weeks passed, and the uneasy tension that once lingered between you and Sunghoon gradually began to fade. Little by little, things started to feel like they were falling back into place, though not quite the same as before. The awkward silences became comfortable again, and the shared moments between you started to carry a different weight.
You found yourself paying closer attention to him in ways you never had before. The small gesturesâhow heâd bring you coffee without asking, or how heâd go out of his way to make sure you were comfortableâbegan to take on a deeper meaning. Sunghoon wasnât just being your best friend; he was being your support, your constant, the one person who had always been there for you, even when you didnât realize how much you needed him.
It was in those moments that your feelings began to shift. At first, you tried to brush them off, telling yourself it was just gratitude, that you were still recovering from everything with Daniel. But the more time you spent with Sunghoon, the harder it became to ignore the warmth that bloomed in your chest every time he smiled at you, or the way your heart raced whenever your hands accidentally brushed.
One evening, the two of you sat in your backyard, a quiet evening settling in around you. Sunghoon had insisted on helping your father with a project earlier, and afterward, he stayed for dinner, as he often did. Now, the two of you were sitting on the porch, the cool breeze gently rustling the leaves above you.
Sunghoon leaned back, his eyes drifting to the sky. âYouâve been quiet tonight,â he said softly, glancing at you. âEverything okay?â
You smiled at the concern in his voice, feeling that familiar warmth spread through you again. âYeah, Iâm just⌠thinking.â
He turned slightly to face you, raising an eyebrow. âAbout what?â
You hesitated, unsure how to put your feelings into words. You werenât ready to say everything out loud yet, but you couldnât shake the overwhelming sense of gratitude and admiration you felt for him. âJust about how things have changed⌠and how much youâve been there for me.â
Sunghoonâs gaze softened, and he shrugged casually, though you could see a flicker of something deeper in his eyes. âThatâs what friends do, right?â
You nodded, but the word âfriendsâ felt wrong now. There was something more between you, something that had been growing quietly in the background, and it was starting to become impossible to deny. You werenât sure when it had happened, or maybe it had always been there, buried beneath the surface. But what you did know was that Sunghoon wasnât just your friend anymore.
Ëŕ¨ŕ§âď˝ĄË â
More time passed and you found yourself seeking him out more, spending more time with him than anyone else. You began to crave his company, his quiet strength, and the way he seemed to understand you without needing to ask. And it wasnât just the grand gestures that made your heart flutterâit was the small things. The way he always checked if you were okay, how he listened when you talked, really listened, and how heâd make sure you werenât alone whenever you seemed down.
It was these little acts of kindness, the quiet care he showed you, that made your feelings for him grow into something undeniable.
One evening, the two of you found yourselves at the park again, sitting on the swings like you used to as kids. The sky was a deep shade of pink and orange, the sun setting in the distance. Sunghoon was talking about somethingâwork, maybeâbut you werenât really listening. Instead, you were focused on him, on the way his hair fell into his eyes, the way his voice softened when he talked to you.
You realized, suddenly and overwhelmingly, that you cared for him in a way you hadnât cared for anyone else. It wasnât just that Sunghoon had been there for you, but the way he had always, quietly and without expectation, supported you, no matter what. He didnât ask for anything in return, didnât push you for answers or confessions. He just⌠cared.
And thatâs when you knew. You had feelings for Sunghoon. They had been there all along, waiting for you to realize it.
Sunghoon must have noticed the look on your face because he stopped mid-sentence, turning to you with a curious expression. âWhat is it?â
You blinked, startled out of your thoughts. âWhat?â
âYouâre staring at me,â he said, a hint of amusement in his voice.
You felt your cheeks heat up, quickly looking away. âI wasnât.â
He laughed softly, but didnât push further. Instead, he leaned back on the swing, the smile fading as a comfortable silence settled between you. You wanted to say something, to tell him what was on your mind, but the words wouldnât come. Not yet.
For now, you were content just being here with him, the weight of your growing feelings a secret you werenât quite ready to share. But you knew, deep down, that it wouldnât be long before those feelings couldnât be hidden any longer.
Ëŕ¨ŕ§âď˝ĄË â
It was a cozy Friday evening, and the house felt unusually quiet. Your parents and Sunghoonâs parents had decided to take a weekend trip together, leaving the two of you alone for the night. You had taken advantage of the opportunity to host a movie night, and the living room was filled with the inviting smell of popcorn and the soft glow of fairy lights strung around the room.
You settled onto the couch, a soft blanket draped over your legs, while Sunghoon reclined next to you, the space between you filled with a warm tension. The movie played in the background, but you found it hard to focus on the screen. Instead, your gaze kept drifting to himâthe way the light danced in his hair, the casual way he laughed at the jokes, and the ease of his presence next to you.
As the minutes turned into hours, you felt the atmosphere shift. Each time you glanced at him, your heart raced a little more. You couldnât ignore the way your feelings for him had transformed over the last few weeks, the moments you had shared sparking something deeper than friendship.
Finally, during a quieter moment in the movie, you turned to him, heart pounding. âSunghoon,â you said softly, your voice barely above a whisper. He turned his head, eyebrows raised in curiosity, his expression inviting you to continue.
You hesitated for a moment, unsure if you should voice what had been on your mind for so long. But the warmth of his gaze, the way he was looking at you, made the decision feel inevitable. âI need to tell you something,â you began, feeling your heart race.
He tilted his head slightly, encouraging you. âWhat is it?â
You took a deep breath, trying to steady your nerves. âIâve been thinking a lot about us⌠and how I feel about you.â Your voice trembled slightly as you spoke, but you pressed on. âWhen I came back to Korea, everything felt so chaotic. But you⌠you were there for me in a way I didnât expect. And the more time we spend together, the more I realize that I care about you, Sunghoon. A lot.â
His eyes widened slightly, surprise flickering across his face. âY/N, Iââ
Before he could respond, you continued, your heart pounding in your chest. âI know Iâve been through a lot, and I donât want to rush anything. But I canât pretend anymore. I have feelings for youâfeelings that go beyond friendship. I want to explore this⌠whatever this is between us.â
A moment of silence stretched between you, filled with the weight of your confession. You could see the shock in his expression slowly melting into something softer, something hopeful.
âIâve wanted to hear you say that,â he finally said, his voice low and sincere. âI care about you too, Y/N. Iâve felt this way for a long time, but I didnât know if youâd feel the same after everything thatâs happened.â
Your heart soared at his words, relief flooding through you. âReally?â you asked, your voice barely above a whisper.
He nodded, a small smile spreading across his lips. âReally.â
In that moment, everything else faded away. You felt a magnetic pull between you, drawing you closer together. Without thinking, you leaned in, your heart racing as you closed the space between you.
Sunghoon met you halfway, his lips brushing against yours with a gentle hesitance that quickly melted into a deeper kiss. It was electricâfilled with all the unspoken emotions you had both held back for so long. The world outside your living room ceased to exist, leaving only the warmth of his body and the rhythm of your hearts.
You melted into him, feeling the softness of the couch beneath you as he deepened the kiss, hands finding their way to your waist, pulling you closer. You could feel the heat radiating between you, igniting something passionate and alive that you hadnât anticipated.
You  moaned softly into Sunghoon's mouth, the sound fueling his desire even further. Breaking the kiss for air, you stared into each other's eyes, both breathless and flushed. "Your room," Sunghoon whispered hoarsely. "Let's go to your room."
Hand in hand, you made your way to your childhood bedroom, a space that held countless memories of your friendship. The room was a sanctuary, adorned with pictures and trinkets from your shared adventures. Sunghoon closed the door behind you, sealing your private world from the outside.
You leaned against the door, heart racing as he approached her. He gently cupped your face, his thumbs brushing against your soft cheeks. "I've dreamed of this moment for so long," he murmured, his voice husky with desire.Your lips met again, this time with a hunger that burned through your restraint. Sunghoon's hands roamed over your body, exploring the curves and contours of your hips and waist. His fingers played with the hem of your tshirt, as if he was silently asking permission to take it off of you. You nod, his hands wasting no time in peeking the fabric to reveal the lacy black bra you wore beneath.Â
Your breath caught in your throat as his fingertips traced the delicate lace, sending shivers down her spine.
With deft fingers, Sunghoon unhooked your bra, freeing your breasts. You gasp at the cold air that suddenly hits you. He gazed at them with reverence, his eyes dark with desire. Leaning down, he took one nipple into his mouth, suckling gently while his thumb teased the other.  You arch your back at the sensation, moaning softly as waves of pleasure rippled through you.
"You're so beautiful, Y/N," Sunghoon whispered against you skin. "I want to make you feel so good."
Feeling a sudden burst of eagerness, your hands found their way to Sunghoon's belt, unbuckling it with trembling fingers. You undid his jeans and slid your hand inside, wrapping your fingers around his hardening cock through his boxers. Sunghoon gasped, his breath hot against your neck, placing a small, wet kiss there as you began to stroke him. âS-shit baby.â
You slip your hand out, guiding Sunghoon towards your bed, you pushed him gently onto the mattress, positions now reversed. You straddled his waist, grinding your hips against his, feeling his erection press against your clothed cunt. His hands roamed over your thighs, inching upwards, exploring the soft skin beneath her shorts that had been driving him insane since the moment he stepped foot inside your house.Â
With a gentle tug, you lifted your hips as he removed your shorts as well as the cute black panties that matched your bra, revealing your bare pussy, glistening with desire. Sunghoon's eyes darkened further as he took in the sight, his breath coming in short gasps. "You're so wet, Y/N. want to taste you so bad."
âlater, you say as you slide down his body, positioning yourself between his legs. You leaned forward, your long hair cascading over your shoulders, as you began to kiss and lick the length of his shaft. Sunghoon groaned, his hands gripping the bedsheets as you took him deep into your mouth, tongue swirling around the head of his cock. âFeels so good babyâ
Sunghoon couldn't hold back any longer. He sat up, positioning you on the bed, and parted your thighs with gentle kisses. His tongue traced the outer folds of your pussy, teasing your sensitive skin. You squirmed with pleasure,  hips bucking against his face as he found your clit and began to suckle it with relentless passion.
"Oh, Sunghoon!" you cried out,  voice hoarse with desire. "Fuck don't stop, please!"
Sunghoon continued his relentless assault on your clit, sending you spiraling towards an intense orgasm âtastes so fucking good, all wet just for me.â Your body trembled,  crying out his name as waves of pleasure washed over you. Sunghoon didn't let up, continuing to lick and suck until you were a quivering mess, your body drenched in sweat and satisfaction.
After a few moments to recover, you reached for Sunghoon, pulling him up to kiss him in a more hungry kiss. You could taste yourself on his lips, and it drove you wild with desire all over again. "I want you inside me," you whispered between kisses. "Now."
Sunghoon needed no further encouragement. He positioned himself at your entrance, his cock throbbing with anticipation. With one smooth thrust, he filled you completely, eliciting a gasp from your parted lips. you moved in perfect harmony, your bodies slick with sweat as ge fucked you with raw, unbridled passion.
"Harder, baby" you pleaded, nails digging into his shoulders. "fuck me harder.â Sunghoon obliged, pounding into you with abandon, his hips slamming against yours.Â
The headboard banged against the wall, marking the rhythm of your frantic coupling. your cries filled the room as you rode the waves of pleasure,  orgasm building to an intense crescendo.
âFuck baby your pussys clenching so hard around my cock, im so fucking close.â You could feel his thrusts becoming sloppier, your own orgasm approaching just a quick. âgonna c-cum hoonie.â He couldn't hold back any longer. With a final, powerful thrust, he came deep inside you, his hot cum painting your walls white.Â
He collapsed onto the bed, bodies entwined, both breathing heavily as the aftershocks of pleasure rippled through each of you. âIf I wouldâve known youâd fuck me that good maybe I wouldâve given you a chance much earlier.â You tell him out of breath, eliciting a chuckle from him.Â
Ëŕ¨ŕ§âď˝ĄË â
The soft morning light streamed through the curtains, casting a gentle glow in your room. You stirred awake, feeling warmth enveloping you. Sunghoon was nestled beside you, his arm draped protectively around your waist, holding you close. The memory of the night before flooded your mindâthe kiss, the confessions, and the spark of something beautiful igniting between you.
You smiled to yourself, feeling a sense of contentment that you hadnât experienced in a long time. But as you settled deeper into his embrace, a sudden noise from downstairs jolted you from your blissful reverie.
âY/N, I think your parents are back,â Sunghoon murmured sleepily, rubbing his eyes as he became more alert.
Your heart raced as the reality of the situation hit you. âOh fuck, Theyâre not supposed to be back yetâ you whispered, panic rising in your chest.
Sunghoonâs eyes widened, and he immediately sat up, glancing around the room. âWe need to hurryâ
You both scrambled to untangle yourselves from the sheets, adrenaline coursing through you. As you hopped out of bed, you glanced at each other, both of you laughing nervously at the chaotic situation. There was an unspoken agreementâyou needed to act casual, like nothing unusual had happened.
âOkay, you get dressed first,â you said, tossing him a T-shirt and a pair of sweatpants that had been strewn on the floor. âIâll throw on something too.â
You quickly changed into a comfy hoodie and leggings, your heart still racing as you heard your parentsâ voices growing louder downstairs. The last thing you wanted was for them to walk in on you two after the night you just shared.
âAre you ready?â Sunghoon asked, his hair slightly tousled as he pulled on the T-shirt. He looked adorable, and it took everything in you not to linger on how cute he was at that moment.
âAlmost!â you replied, giving your reflection a quick check in the mirror before moving to the door. âLetâs go!â
You both rushed down the stairs, trying to make as little noise as possible, your hearts pounding in your chests. As you reached the bottom step, you could hear your parents chatting in the kitchen, their voices bright and cheerful.
âY/N, are you home?â your mom called out just as you and Sunghoon entered the living room, trying to appear nonchalant.
âYeah, Mom! Just hanging out!â you replied, forcing a casual tone, hoping it didnât sound too forced.
You glanced over at Sunghoon, who was giving you a small, reassuring smile, but you could see the nervousness in his eyes. You both moved into the kitchen, where your parents were unpacking bags, completely oblivious to the whirlwind of emotions that had just taken place in your room.
âHey, Sunghoon! youâre here,â your dad said, giving him a friendly nod. âDid you keep Y/N entertained while we were gone?â
âOf course!â Sunghoon replied, a little too quickly, his eyes darting to you for a brief moment. âWe had a fun movie night.â
You nodded enthusiastically, trying to match his energy. âYeah, just a normal hangout. Nothing out of the ordinary,â you added, unable to hide the hint of a nervous laugh.
Your mom chuckled, giving you both a knowing look. âYou two have always been inseparable. Iâm glad youâre spending time together.â
You felt your cheeks flush, and you shot Sunghoon a sidelong glance. He was trying hard not to smile, and it was contagious.
âDid you enjoy the trip?â you asked, hoping to shift the conversation away from the night before.
Your parents launched into stories about their travels, and as you listened, you couldnât help but sneak glances at Sunghoon. He caught your eye, and you both exchanged a small smile that felt electric, reminding you of the connection you had just started to explore.
As breakfast was prepared, the atmosphere felt relaxed and easy, but your heart raced at the thought of your parents unknowingly interrupting something that had felt so significant. You couldnât help but feel giddy about the night you had shared, and the prospect of what lay ahead for you and Sunghoon, even as the morning unfolded like any other day.
After breakfast, your parents retreated to the living room to relax, leaving you and Sunghoon to clean up the kitchen. The atmosphere felt light, almost like the calm before a storm as you both exchanged playful banter, your earlier connection still fresh in your minds.
Later that afternoon, you heard a familiar voice ring out from the front door. âY/N! Iâm here!â Yeji called as she burst into the house, her energy immediately filling the space.
You couldnât help but smile, excitement bubbling up at the sight of your childhood best friend. âYeji! Youâre back!â you exclaimed, rushing to greet her with a hug.
As you pulled away, she looked at you intently, her gaze sweeping over you from head to toe. âYouâre glowing,  Whatâs going on with you?â she asked, a teasing lilt in her voice.
Your cheeks flushed slightly, and you tried to play it cool. âWhat are you talking about?â you said, attempting to sound nonchalant, but you felt a giddy warmth spread through you.
âOh, come onâ Yeji pressed, her eyes sparkling with curiosity. âYou look so happy. Are you and sunghoon fianlly together?â
You felt your heart race at the thought. âItâs⌠complicated,â you said, a shy smile creeping onto your face as you remembered the kiss, the way he made you feel, and the warmth that had lingered long after. âWeâre just figuring things out.â
âJust figuring things out?â Yeji exclaimed, her voice rising in disbelief. âY/N, youâre practically radiating happiness, That sounds like a classic âweâre togetherâ situation to me now spill bitch.â
You laughed, unable to suppress the joy bubbling inside you. âI promise, itâs nothing like that! Weâre just friends hanging outâwell, more than friends, but still⌠you know.â You were stumbling over your words, and you could feel the warmth of your blush creeping down your neck.
Yejiâs eyes widened, her expression a mix of disbelief and excitement. âOh my god, did you fuck?â she pressed, bouncing slightly on her heels, clearly thrilled at the prospect.
You donât say anything, except you give her a knowing look that told her everything she needs to know.Â
Yejiâs smile grew wider, her excitement infectious. âFucking finally. I thought you idiots would never figure it outâ She grabbed your shoulders, her eyes gleaming. âYou have to tell me everything.â
Just then, Sunghoon appeared in the doorway, glancing between the two of you, a bemused smile on his face. âWhatâs going on in here?â he asked, leaning against the doorframe with an amused expression.
Yeji turned to him, her eyes sparkling with mischief. âOh, just catching up on the latest drama. Y/N and I were just talking about how sheâs glowing andââ
You quickly interjected, feeling the heat rise in your cheeks. âWe were just talking about⌠uh, my skincare routine!â
Sunghoon raised an eyebrow, a smirk playing at the corners of his lips. âYour skincare routine, huh? Sounds fascinating.â
âShut up,â you shot back playfully, laughter spilling out. But deep down, you felt a thrill at the thought of your feelings for him becoming more public, shared between friends.
Yeji wiggled her eyebrows suggestively, a teasing smile on her face.
You rolled your eyes, but you couldnât help the smile that spread across your face. As Sunghoon joined the conversation, you felt a warmth in your heart, realizing how much you had missed thisâhow much you had missed him.
Ëŕ¨ŕ§âď˝ĄË â
You and Sunghoon settled into a rhythm of secrecy and excitement. Every stolen moment felt like a thrilling adventure, each shared smile charged with an energy that left you both breathless. You spent evenings hanging out at parks, grabbing snacks at your favorite convenience store, and reliving old memories. But as your bond deepened, so did the intensity of your feelings.
You both agreed to keep things under wraps for a little while longer, wanting to navigate this new chapter without the pressure of parental expectations looming over you. But sneaking around only added to the thrill, and soon, it became second nature.
One Friday evening, you decided to go on a real date. After all, you had managed to keep things low-key, but you were ready to enjoy being together without the pressure of hiding. You picked a charming little cafĂŠ downtown, a spot you both loved, and as the sun began to set, the place glowed with a warm, inviting ambiance.
You shared a dessert and exchanged playful banter, the world outside fading away. Sunghoonâs laughter felt like music, and each lingering glance seemed to whisper promises of something beautiful. The night was perfectâuntil it was time to go home.
As you walked down the quiet street, the cool night air wrapping around you, you felt a surge of affection. You turned to Sunghoon, smiling softly, and without thinking, you pulled him into a warm embrace. It felt so right, being close to him, your heart racing at the proximity.
But just as you pulled away, a familiar voice broke the silence. âWell, well, well. What do we have here?â
Startled, you turned to see your parents standing just a few feet away, a mix of surprise and amusement on their faces. Sunghoonâs eyes widened, and you felt your heart drop. âUh⌠hey!â you stammered, feeling heat rise to your cheeks.
Your mom stepped forward, a knowing smile spreading across her face. âWe always knew you two would end up together,â she said, crossing her arms and raising an eyebrow playfully.
Sunghoon chuckled nervously, rubbing the back of his neck. âUm, well, this is a bit unexpected.â
Your dad grinned, stepping beside your mom. âYou think we wouldnât notice the way you two look at each other? Youâve been sneaking around, havenât you?â
You exchanged glances with Sunghoon, a mix of embarrassment and relief flooding through you. âOkay, maybe a little,â you admitted, unable to hide your smile.
âJust a little?â Yeji suddenly appeared from behind your parents, her arms crossed and an amused look on her face. âI could have told you they were dating from the way they looked at each other!â
Your heart raced, but seeing the warmth in your parentsâ eyes eased your nerves. âWe just wanted to take our time, you know?â you said, looking up at Sunghoon.
Your mom laughed softly. âYou kids and your secrets. We were starting to wonder when you would finally tell us!â
Sunghoon relaxed, a smile spreading across his face. âSorry for keeping it from you, but we wanted to figure things out first.â
Your dad patted Sunghoon on the back. âYouâre a good kid. Weâre just happy to see you both happy. Just remember to keep it respectful, alright?â
You nodded vigorously, feeling the weight lift off your shoulders. As you stood there, surrounded by family and friends, you realized how wonderful it felt to share your happiness openly.
Sunghoon looked at you, his expression softening. âWell, I guess the secretâs out,â he said, smiling broadly.
You chuckled, leaning against him, warmth spreading through you. âYeah, but I wouldnât have it any other way.â
As you walked home together, hand in hand, you knew this was just the beginning of a new chapter in your livesâone filled with love, laughter, and the promise of many more adventures to come.

Warnings: fluff, babygirl steve, cursing, mentions of toxic (?) relationship, hopeless pining, pet names (sweetheart), shameless flirting
Steve can barely see through his rose-tinted daydream, but he's sure he recognizes your smile as soon as you enter the food court. And you lead a trail of whiny teenagers right to his register. This is the fourth time this week you've heard about Steve's lusturous hair and dazzling eyes. You have to hand it to them, they're not bad salesmen, just a tad young to elicit ethos. What the hell do they know about love anyway.
That's what happens when you're licensed and free on a Friday afternoon: babysitting duty. Now, in the event that Steve had been the one saddled with the party on his day off, he would've argued that they're not really babies and they should be self-sufficient. Knowing Dustin, however, this argument proves to be false almost every time.
But it wasn't Steve, it was you. Steve doesn't think he's heard you complain about one thing in your life.
Not even your deadbeat boyfriend called Brad. Who, as Dustin and Max and Robin love to remind him, is utterly replaceable and on thin ice every other week. Steve knows better than to get his hopes up after three months of having them crushed, though. He's learned to live with the strong sense of yearning he feels whenever you're within thirty feet of him.
Take now, for example: you're coralling half a dozen brats into a somewhat single-file line without even having to raise your voice. He should think it's impressive, but he's too distracted by your lip gloss and your voice and the way you did your hair today.
"I hope you give discounts to distressed young women," you tease, brows knitting when you look up at him. This is the part where he's supposed to respond with something charming. Sexy and charismatic, maybe.
"Oh, uh," he chuckles, "No, I mean, yeah. Sure"âOh, but you smile at him and all that pent up charisma flies out the neon-framed sliding doors. They chatter out their orders at lightning speed, and he can barely catch half of what they're saying when you look at him like that. You finally make it to the register and pay half price. And your cone is always on the house, of course.
"Isn't he such a gentleman?" Max says unenthusiastically. Lucas elbows her side before retreating with Dustin.
"He's also a great driver!" Will chirps, shuffling away to one of the booths with Mike and El who giggle the whole way there. You turn back to Steve who stares off at them incredulously.
"You see what I have to deal with?" you say with some degree of affection for the chaos.
"Aw, come on," Steve says, tilting his head with a shrug, "you love it."
"I think they keep forgetting I already have a boyfriend."
Not much of a boyfriend if you ask me, he thinks.
But what he says: "Ah, yes. The elusive Brad."
You roll your eyes and grin at him. You know Steve has a crush on you. Or else the kids and Robin wouldn't be so adamant on marketing him to you. It's sweet, really. And honestly, you don't think Steve's unfit to play boyfriend or anything, but you're also not disloyal.
Your scoop melts down the side of the cone between your fingers. Steve nearly hurls himself across the counter handing you a thick stack of napkins.
"Shit, thanks," you huff, lapping at the stream of sticky ice cream. His stomach churns as his face screws into a sickly smile.
"Yeah. No problem."
"No, really"âyou wrap a napkin around the cone, shoving the rest into your pocketâ"I don't know what I'd do if I had to pay the entire bill everytime one of them had a craving."
"Really, it's not a problem," he shrugs it off like it doesn't come out of his paycheck. "I like helping out pretty girls when I can."
You giggle and tilt your head. "Steve Harrington, you're my hero."
He's almost embarassed at how fast his face flushes red hot and frantic. He reaches for the back of his neck on impulse, and any attempt he makes at seeming suave is foiled by Robin patting him on the shoulder.
"If you think that's heroic, there was this one time he singlehandedly saved Hawkins with this sick baseball bat with nailsâ"
He huffs, "Robinâ"
"No, seriously! Don't be so modest, Steve, you're selling yourself short!"
"I'm not trying to sell myself at all!" he says, turning her around and guiding her towards the door to the back room.
"Great seeing you!" she hollers over her shoulder just before disappearing behind the swinging door. You wave with a chuckle. Steve tuts, fixing his sailor hat and shaking his head.
"Did you really do all that? Save Hawkins, I mean?" you ask. And you seem genuinely interested which is why it guts him. The one girl who actually gives a shit is coincidentally unavailable.
"Yeah," he says, shrugging, "but only to clear my conscience. It's like penance, or whatever."
You giggle, not sure if he's being truthful or playing it off. He meets your eyes and he's sure his heart stops dead in his chest for a beat. Nobody pulls off mall lighting like you.
The kids come skipping back to the counter, declaring they've all got different wants and needs around the mall for the next few hours.
"Okay, hold on, I promised I'd have you guys back before my date," you say, Steve overseeing the conversation from over your shoulder.
"Well," he interjects, "when's your date?" All the attention shifts to Steve, and he suddenly wishes he could swallow up the words and take them back for good.
"Two hours from now. Across town," you say, looking a little guilty knowing he's about to make the kindest offer of the year.
"I'm off at five, so I can just"âstop talkingâ"take them home after my shift."
"Steve, really, you don't have toâ"
El grins, eyes wide as she whispers in Max's ear.
Steve shakes his head, "Sweetheart, believe me, I want to. Besides, you've already been through enough with the rascals. Go have fun."
You turn to the kids, almost pleading with them to accept Steve's generosity.
"Is that okay with you guys? I don't wanna leave you stranded," you admit.
They nod in agreement, throwing out a couple yes's and sure's. They're bright-eyed and bushy-tailed as ever, but you still feel bad dumping them on Steve like this.
Dustin interrupts: "This really just goes to show how Steve is a great candidate for marriage and other domestic relations. He can be odd at times and he might care too much about his hair, but you can tell by his actions that he would be a very reliable husband, a generous life partner, andâ"
"And a great friend," you giggle, trying not to let Dustin get too carried away. You have sat through enough of his speeches for one day. "Now, quit trying to set us up!"
Steve rolls his eyes at the boy. "Seriously, at least wait 'til she's single. Then she can reject me for me."
You whip back to face him with a sour look on your face.
"Steven! That's notâthat's rude to yourself," you huff, "Say three nice things."
He chuckles, crossing his arms over his chest and squinting at you.
"You're pretty, I like your shoes, and you smell nice."
"About you!"
"Ohh," he feigns surprise, "No." But you reach across the counter to whack him on the arm with a shocking amount of force. The kids chuckle from behind you. Steve can't help but smile when you raise your brows proudly. "Fine! I am deserving of love, I am great company, and my hair looks particularly shiny today."
"Good," you nod, "I agree. And I have to go, see ya!"
"With which one?" he says, watching you jog out of the store waving. "Wait! Sweetheart? Agree with which one??"
Steve sighs sharply, hands perched decidedly on his hips as his gaze falls flat on the militia of pre teens staring him down.
"What do you want?" he says.
"You're hopeless," Max says, mouth pressed in a hard line before she wanders off, arm-in-arm with El.
"Yeah, dude. And kinda desperate," Mike shrugs.
"Hey," he grumbles. Who knew such harsh words could come from such little humans. You'd think they'd be harmless at this age. You'd be wrong.Â
"You're a total virgin," Dustin says, very matter-of-factly.
Steve cocks a brow, honestly trying not to laugh at the severity of Dustin's demeanor when he says it. "I don't even think you know what that means."
Dustin blinks. "Well, I think you haven't had sex in long enough that you qualify as one."
"Shit."
...
Much to Steveâs surprise, it only takes butthead Brad two more weeks to absolutely shatter your heart. No one knows the complete details other than it happened at a frat party and you had to walk back to the dorms alone. But Steve doesnât need complete details to know he wants to shatter Bradâs jaw with his fist.
But he also vowed to use means other than violence to get his point across. He should be awarded for the amount of restraint it took to see your bloodshot eyes and not speed immediately off towards Asshole University like a Brad-seeking atomic missile.
Of course, heâs thankful you felt comfortable enough to call him. In fact, he was the first one you rang. And he knows this fact because you told him while you were sniffling away tears a week and a half after the break up.
Now, youâre sitting in the passenger seat of his beemer, curled into your sweater, and listening to late night soft rock radio while he focuses on the dark highway ahead of him. You hadnât wanted to do anything else but sit in his car and think. His heart clenches everytime you wipe away a tear with your soggy sleeve.
He pulls off the highway during an ad break, finding a secluded diner surrounded by nothing but trees and gas stations. He pulls into a parking spot near the back of the lot where the overhead lights arenât blinding, but you arenât completely in the dark. He leaves the car on so the cold doesnât seep in, engine still purring softly from under the hood.
âWho needs âem,â he says in attempt to lighten the mood. âBeing single is way cooler. Take it from me. You get a bed all to yourself and you can fart whenever you want.â
Youâre frowning, but you know he means well. You just canât help the fat tears rolling down your cheeks.
âOh, come here,â he whispers, leaning over the center console and dipping his hands over your shoulder and around your waist. His arms feel so strong and so warm where they envelop you entirely. Steve always was the best hug you ever receieved.
You canât help but chuckle wetly into his collar after a moment.
âGod, he was such an asshole, wasnât he?â
âUh, duh! Doesnât take a genius toâŚâ Steve laughs, pausing and brushing the hair away from your damp cheeks. âI know, sweetheart, and you deserve heaps better. You were always way too cool for that loser.â
You blink up at him in the low light. Thereâs a kind of twinkle in your eye that makes the tips of his ears hot. This time, you reach for him, weaving your arms beneath his jacket with a deep sigh. Your breathing slows against his neck, and he rubs your back while your arms tighten a little around his waist.
He canât help but wonder what youâre thinking whenever you look at him with your doe eyes, seemingly sweet and far too inquisitive. He knows youâre probably just looking, maybe thinking of something else. But the hopeless romantic in him rattles his rib cage and shouts you might actually consider him this time.
âWanna go get shakes? On me,â he whispers. You sniffle, wiping your aching nose on the cuff of your sleeve.
âI can pay for myself,â you tease, popping open the car door when he cuts the engine.
âNope! Sorry, I donât let girls pay, remember? Super sexist, I know. Plus the whole pretty privilege thing. Honestly, I should just be paying you at this point,â he says, hooking his arm around your back and feeling yours reach for his shoulder as you march towards the diner.
âI agree, rich boy,â you chuckle, âReparations are in order for wrongdoings on behalf of your sex.â
He chuckles. Heâs absolutely head over heels.
The waitress seats you at a cozy booth in the corner and makes a casual comment about the cute couple, asking how long you two have been together. Steve flounders at the question, flustered and pink in the face.
âOh, weâre actually⌠not together,â you say, laughing awkwardly when she pouts and, again, remarks on how cute youâd be together. You order shakes for the both of you before perching your chin in your hand. Steveâs still reeling when the waitress walks away.
âFunny. We canât even escape the third-degree from complete strangers,â you tease, winking at him from just a few feet away. Jesus, heâd think you were trying to kill him if you didnât seem so lighthearted and playful.
âYeah, pretty funny,â he sighs. And heâs probably being so obvious. Or maybe thatâs how he is all of the time, so his heart eyes seem subtle. Or itâs obvious all of the time.
The waitress slides the shakes in front of you, and the bright red cherries sink further into the whipped cream.
âYou know,â you murmur between sips, âI always thought you were pretty cute.â
He nearly chokes on his mouthful of chocolate malt, clearing his throat and trying not to crumble in on himself.
âOh. Yeah, I get that a lot,â he huffs, âMostly from little old ladies, butâHey!â
You flick him and say, âReally! I know itâs not couth considering⌠Brad and all, butâŚâ
âYouâre being facetious,â Steve accuses.
âNoââ
âSarcastic!â
âSteveââ
âIronic?â
âTry serious!â you hum, âIâm just saying, youâre very handsome. I was shocked to learn you were single when we first met.â
Steveâs blushing and puffing trying to maintain eye contact.
âWhat can I say? Iâm just,â he huffs, âIâm not really worried about it.â
You tilt your head. âYouâre not?â
âNah. I know the right girl will find me in the end. Even if it takes a while. I donât mind waiting for the right one.â
You settle back in the padded seat, wincing when it squeals beneath you. It makes you feel a little dejected, but you suppose heâs right. Especially because he seems so confident. So sure. Itâs admirable. You want to be that sure of soulmates and love and the future.
âI feel the same way,â you whisper. He finishes off the rest of his glass with a smile.
âThough, it doesnât exactly help having a bunch of little shitheads telling you to go get laid all the time,â he laughs.
âOh, yeah, tell me about itâ you lean in, âJust break up with him, steve is so much nicer. Dump that loser. Steve has a big crush on you.â
âThey said that?â Steveâs not dumb, heâs sure you know by now, but he thought it was all conjecture. They will be hearing about this next time they want free ice cream.
âYeah, that was like their main point. But I know with all the love in my heart theyâre all full of shit.â
You shrug, and he chuckles dryly. He canât decide whether you knowing is for better or for worse.
âYeah,â he sighs.
Steve drives you home. You fall asleep in the car, and he keeps the radio low so as not to wake you. By the time he pulls into your driveway, he doesnât care about the time or the fact that he lives far. He does, however, care about the way you smile lazily and peck his cheek in thanks.
âAnytime, sweetheart.â
He says it but he wants to tell you what heâs feeling. He wants to ask if youâre over Brad. He knows youâre not and thatâs okay, but he wants to ask if he can hold your hand to keep it warm. He wants to ask what kind of flowers you like and if it would be okay for him to drop them off on your doorstep tomorrow. He has so much he wants to say and do, but he doesnât want to suffocate you.
He doesnât know that you wouldnât mind him asking.

Slashers! First meeting their S/O
Slashers! x gn!reader
Includes Michael Myers, Jason Voorhees, Thomas Hewitt, Vincent Sinclair
Requested? Yes
Warnings: beefy murder boyfriends, fluffy shit, pre-relationship stuff, love at first sight, mentions of murder/gore/malicious intentions, violence
Michael Myers
It was Halloween night, dark eyes through holes in a white, cast of a mask staring through the second story window of an old, decrepit house
A young boy skipping by as in a blue, capped superhero, an older couple strolling on the opposite street, arm in arm minding their own in the breezy night
Eyes cast downward as the sharp ring of a doorbell shot through the old bones of the house, glint of a butchers knife tight in the grasp of the man know silently making his way through the upper hall
âAre we even supposed to be going in here?â
âWho cares, itâs tradition to check out the Myers mansion, relaxâ
âI donât know, this feels wrong..â
Listening to what seemed to be two young adult, the shrill voice of one of them almost instantly striking the silent man with a headache
Michael watched from the shadows as the pair came into view, the louder of the two wearing her hair in tight pigtails, a cheerleader outfit splattered with what was obviously fake blood, a bad attempt at a murder victim
Ready to lumber from the darkness and strike down on the intruders, the man was struck to the spot he stood as you came into view, wearing another poorly, and clearly last minute, thrown on pirate costume
You were what he imagined when the perfect kill was dreamt, your face burned into his as your pictured screams of fear and pain died as did your fighting spirit, the knife once again tightened in his grip, knuckles turning a pale white, veins pulsing beneath taut skin
He wanted, no, needed to kill you
Even the thought alone send a bold chill of excitement through the otherwise lifeless body of his
âYou know what would be so funny-â
The girl in pigtails spoke as she flipped around the corner, the voice shrinking in her throat quickly morphing in a scream of terror as she bumped into the large, awaiting body of the infamous Michael Myers
Although her scream was also short lived as a rough hand was immediately around her throat, lifting her from her feet and slamming her back into the adjacent wall breath knocked from her body at the impact
His other hand rose, moonlight catching the long, silver blade as it was plunged deep into her stomach, twisting, turning as her throat gave up on its scream, another shriek caused the killers head to twist like an owl
There you stood, frozen in place with hands partly covering your mouth, eyes wide, not shaking, not running, just watching as the man before you brutalized your friend
But as your eyes caught each others in the dimly lit hallway, Michaels grasp on the now corpse released, body hitting the floor with a dull thud he didnt bother to pull the knife from its placed nestled between dead flesh, not even glancing down at it
Your hands slowly fell from your face, still not shaking, but clearly stressed with sweat as you wiped your hands on the fabric covering your thighs
âIâm, sorry for breaking inâ
Your voice was soft, careful but not disingenuous, Michael didnât know how to react, unable to look away or even move
His head tilted to the left, mask bunching at the bottom, he turned on his heel and made his exit through the rickety wooden door leading to the backyard, leaving the body, knife, and you alone in the corridor
As his walk through the brisk night air flooded under the neck of his mask, the killer could feel his normally emotionless face scrunch with confusion
If hearing you scream in fear wasnât what he thought he wanted from you, then what did he want from you?
He would have to investigate this sudden curiosity closely
Jason Voorhees
Jason was tirelessly indulging the day by sitting on the end of his cabins patio, watching the slow turn of various wild animals go by
There werenât any campers to keep him busy, nor screams and boisterous laughter of teens trying to get their rocks off on the property, just the hum of June bugs and trees swaying beneath the gentle breeze of warm weather
That was until a shrill yelp drilled into Jasonâs eardrums, bothered by the distraction from his day of calm, the man stood with shoulders squared, grabbing the awaiting machete perched against one of the patios wooden posts
Marching through the dense woods, his boots crushed leaves as he made he way to the noise from minutes earlier, hoping whoever it was was far gone
âOh my godâ
Of course they werenât though, of course whoever this was decided to stupidly wander onto private property, clearly posted in writing on multiple trees and wire fences
Although Jason hesitated when he heard something heâd never had the pleasure of catching
âYou poor thing, here I am breaking the law because of youâ
Peeking from behind the thick trunk of a large oak, Jason was surprised to see a stranger kneeling in the dirt, fingers and palms cut up with minor wounds as they attempted to unwind a helpless rabbit that seemed to have gotten itself rolled in loose barbed wire
Not minding to worry about yourself, you winced as another barb caught your finger, slicing the thin flesh there as the rabbit was freed, trotting away without a care in the world
âOkay, now which way did I come in from?â
You wondered aloud, turning on your heel to go back the direction you think you came from, hoping in get back on the hiking trail youâd left behind
Jason merely watched with confusion, no malice or really any thought behind his eyes other than the urge to, protect you, from what he wasnât sure
But he knew for certain, you werenât someone heâd be able to forget
Thomas Hewitt
Letâs get one thing straight, Thomas doesnât enjoy killing, him and his family was forced into it by Hoyt and his insatiable urge to feed and âcareâ for everyone
Most victims were easy to kill, treating him like a monster, screaming in his face curses and insults as they went out
Others he had a harder time with, the ones that just cry, plead with him for their life, promise they wonât tell the police if he lets them go
That being said, heâs never failed to kill, not once since heâs begun
That is until one summer day, when a knock at the door caught Luda Mae by surprise, wiping her wet hands on a dish towel and headed to the front door
Eyes narrowed, the older woman opened the door to reveal a young adult, you, standing there with a shy smile gracing your features, you held a pair of car keys in one hand, the other free to reach up and rub nervously at the back of your neck
âIâm sorry to bother you and, whoever else is home, but my car broke down a mile out, and Iâm unable to reach anyone on my cellâ
Luda Maes confusion turned to soft pity, a reserved grin taking over her lips as she moved to the left, a hand beckoning you in
âWell dear, thereâs a phone in the kitchen, if youâd like I can call the towns auto shop while you wait in the living roomâ
Although still shaken from being practically dropped in the middle of nowhere Texas, you made your way graciously inside, thanking the woman with kind praise as you did so
Taking a seat on one of the two sofas available, your ankles crossed as you stared down at one of the keychains dangling from your car keys
You could hear the woman in the kitchen shuffling around, although you werenât sure if you could hear anyone speaking to anyone on the phone
Curious, you slowly stood, palms sweaty as you now took a few steps from the living room, now able to hear Luda Mae speaking on the low to someone, then the sound of a corded phone clicking into its place on the wall
Heart slowing as you realized you were just being paranoid, you quickly turned on your heel to find your way back to the couch, although your trip was cut short by your feet crossing over one another, about to fall on your face when a two large hands steadied your shoulder
Gazing up, your breath caught in your throat at the absolute behemoth of a man now standing before you, a leather mask covering the bottom half of his face, thick brows furrowing as you simply continued to stare with wonder up at him
âThank youâ
Was all you could manage, voice catching as you realized your body was practically pressed up against his
âThere you are dear, oh look I see youâve met my youngest boy Tommyâ
Luda Mae spoke as she entered the room, knowing look on her face as she coyly added fuel to the current fire
Pulling yourself up right and out of Thomasâ grasp, your hot face was focused on the older woman in hopes the man wouldnât notice your sudden fluster
âUnfortunately our only truck is out with my other son, so I was thinking my boy here could be so kind as to walk you to the auto shop, youâll be safe with him, promiseâ
You didnât notice the way Thomasâ eyes followed you, too focused on thinking about being alone with a man as attractive as the one quietly standing beside you
âYouâre not worried are you?â
Luda seemed to test you, but it went right over your head as you shook your head no
âHe seems very reliableâ
You smiled up at Thomas, unable to catch the skip in his chest as you did so
Luda Mae could only grin at the sight, ready to call up Hoyt and tell him to leave this stranger alone, as she could see a future blooming before her eyes
Vincent Sinclair
Vincent wasnât one to leave his studio unless absolutely necessary, and even in those cases he didnât, it wasnât pleasant for the man
Until Bo brought home a guest, someone shaking and blindfolded as he manhandled the poor soul, although the stranger wasnât screaming nor fighting, it was as if theyâd completely given up, or knew it wouldnât help
Vincent watched silently as his brother forced you to the ground, your knees surely hurting as they made contact with the hard, concrete floor
âDo you know what happens to people that wander where they donât belong?â
Bo questioned menacingly, although he had a playful glint in his eye Vincent had never seen before
Silently creeping up behind his twin, the long haired man narrowed his eyes as he scanned what he could see in the dim, candle lit room of your face
The obvious old, dried tears that had found their way down your cheeks were still shining, creating lines over your soft skin
You looked to be carved of marble, painted with delicate strokes and framed with care, you were a work of art, and he hadnât even seen your eyes yet
Placing a deft hand on Boâs shoulder, the two exchanged looks, the shorter haired twin groaning in annoyance, although that look from before was still in his eye
Right as he was turning to take his leave, he leaned closer to Vincent, whispering to him as he passed
âI took one glance and knew youâd like them, guess I was rightâ
Then he was gone, foot steps disappearing as he left up the basement stairway
Vincent cautiously walked closer to you, noticing how you flinched back a bit when he made a move to pull your blindfold up, doing it slowly as to not startle you
Your watery eyes fell on his masked face, brows furrowing slightly as you glanced around the room
Vincentâs mouth soured at the idea that you were looking for Bo, of course you would be, what new comer in town wasnât, until
âIs that man from before gone?â
Youâd whispered, and if your sweet voice didnât send Vincent into a flutter of strange emotions, your next words at the nod of, âyesâ, Vincent gave you did
âGood, he scares meâ
He merely nodded, unsure of how to act
âIs he going to come back?â
Vincent shrugged
Your shifted so you were sitting, wincing at the ache in your legs, eyes nervous but no longer afraid, you looked to the silent man before you
âWill you, stay here if he comes back?â
Vincent had never been so quick to nod a, âyesâ
Sorry Iâve been gone for so long, but Iâm back now! Iâm working on what is currently in my requests but feel free to send in more!

It still flustered him.
Satoru never, not once in his 28 years of life, felt more confused, than right now. Why was his heart doing backflips in his chest? He sat there, on the wooden chair frozen and thankful for the furniture that held his weight because if suddenly itâd be taken away, he would collapse to the floor, meet the cold kitchen tiles and melt against them into a puddle of mess. He was there, stuck in time with his head empty and heart racing in his chest, rumbling against the cage of his ribs while you were going about the day without a care and attention to his pathetic state. A state you reduced him to.
Itâs been few minutes already and Gojo sat there in silence, watching your back as you were washing fruit in the sink, snacking on the juicy strawberries he grabbed for you earlier that morning â a gesture foreign to his own body but he wanted, for once, to be the person who made you smile and not only experience the effect of someone elseâs doing. He woke up earlier that day, before the sun even peaked above the horizon line and with his thoughts racing and stomach full of butterflies, he went on a very special mission.
It was a tiny market, way outside Tokyo but with the loveliest sellers. He found a booth he eyed once when on the job in the area, a stand full of little hand-woven baskets, each of them brimmed with fruit. The strawberries were red, some very bright and some very deep in color, glistening in the early sun with the morning dew that scattered across the surface looked as if little crystals were adorning the harvest. Satoru smiled and the old lady smiled as well.
âHow can I help you, young man?â She asked, spreading her arms invitingly and Satoru could tell, by the look of her calloused hands, stained in juice and dirt, she was working hard every day to make a living.
âMy wife loves strawberries,â he began, catching himself on the ease with which the word wife left his mouth, âbut I donât know much about picking the best ones. Could you help me with that?â
âYou came to the right place, son!â
Just few moments later, Satoru was walking slowly towards his house, after warping back into the city. In his hand, a bag hung hooked over his fingers, full of those little baskets and their contents. He might have gone overboard with the purchase, but the joyful tears that welled in the eyes of that old woman when he paid her for fruit â definitely much more than it was worth according to the prices â he had no regrets. In result he carried the bagful of not only strawberries but also some apples, raspberries and sweet cherries â all of which he was forced to take, despite his initial plans of getting only the red ones you like so much.
âThere you are, right on time,â your beautiful, melodic voice greeted him the moment he swung the doors open, and he swallowed the lump in his throat. He couldâve bought you flowers as well, he planned to do so, but he had to evacuate himself from the grasp of that one seller lady, because as lovely as she was, if he stayed a moment longer, she would pack him her entire harvest of that morning. âI thought you went out earlier, but I made breakfast for you anyway.â
âI went for a little walk,â he said, trying to sound as nonchalant and at ease as he could despite the rageful whirl of butterflies in his stomach. Why was he so nervous? âAnd I bought you these.â
A soft thud barely made itself apparent above the cacophony of clinking plates and cutlery, but it was enough to catch your attention. You looked at him, curious, and somewhat carefully reached into the bag now rested on the kitchen table. Your face brightened up, your eyes glimmered and you smiled â and Satoru couldâve sworn heâs never seen something more beautiful. You reminded him of a child that got a toy it dreamed of. Pure happiness washed over your features and he wondered if it was always that easy to bring joy to your otherwise calm self.
âOh my god, Satoruââ you gasped out, fishing out one of the berries and after a short rinse under the water, you popped it into your mouth and melted. He was told by the woman in the market that the type she was growing on her fields was exceptionally sweet, with the right amount of tang and a lot of juice.
âTasty?â He asked, watching how you savored the flavor with pure pleasure.
They were tasty. He found out himself, because when your lips pressed to his own, he forgot how to breathe and the only things on his mind were the plushiness of your mouth and that sweetness. His body moved on its own, his hands found their place on your hips, pulled you in, as if it was a natural reaction for him to bring you closer.
And then, before he managed to secure his grip on you, you were gone from his proximity, leaving only the lingering taste of strawberries on his lips and a growing confusion.
I love you.
He heard that right, a gentle whisper against his mouth. You said it, this time you said it for sure, this time he was sure the words actually were spoken, not read between lines.
âSit down, Satoru, eat your breakfast,â you sing-sang happily, as if you didnât stop the entire globe just now. As if you didnât just alter the universe he was in, shifting the rhythm of the muscle in his chest permanently. As if you didnât just tell him you love him.
But he sat down, afraid to not lose his balance and absentmindedly shoved a piece of a pancake into his mouth.

KINKTOBER DAY 7 â SUCCUBUS. sakura haruka x f!succubus! reader ďž thereâs no better way to lose your virginity than to a succubus, right? do those even exist? he was skeptical of it before he finally met you.
CONTAINS â aphrodisiacs, creampie, loss of virginity (reader & sakura), technically starts off as dubcon but -> consensual
á explicit smut (18+) â link to sign up for my taglist & to view mlist!
Sakura has never heard of succubi.
At least, not until he overheard Nirei and Suo talking about them. Thatâs what you are, right? It has to be. Those two must have done something that resulted in you being here. His door doesnât have a lock, but heâs certain he would have picked up on the noise if someone had actually broken in.
You were too quiet coming in, so he concludes that itâs impossible for you to be a regular⌠human. He wasnât able to sense a single sound until you started grinding against his cock.
The wings and the tail are a dead giveaway. You smile down at him, the heart tipped tail slowly trailing up his cheek before he suddenly grabs it- and he hears you yelp loudly.
Oh.
So succubi can feel pain?
At least he knows one thing now. The other thing heâs certain of is that his face has never felt this hot in his entire life.
Youâre looking at him expectantly now. Arms crossed, brows deeply furrowedâ and⌠his eyes follow your own until they finally land on your tail. The tail thatâs still in his fist.
Oops.
âS-sorry.â He doesnât even know why he bothers apologizing. Youâre an intruder in his house, arenât you?
âDumb boy.â You huff, and his brow twitches. âI-I donât even know what you are!â Heâs surprised he can manage to say that much in his current state. He canât even act flustered with how fast you were able to get on his nerves- but he thinks youâre⌠pretty at the very least.
A brat, but still a pretty one. His cheeks heat up a little more.
âWhat.. what are you doing in my house?â
You give him a look. âYou donât know what I am?â Sakura opens his mouth to respond, but it looks like heâs struck a nerve, because youâre leaning down to straddle his waist and press your chest against his own.
âIâm a succubus. Canât you feel it? Youâre supposed to. Whatâs wrong with you? Here.â You lick a long stripe up his neck, and he chokes out a groan. âSo you do work. Saliva from a succubus acts as an aphrodisiac, you know.â
âI wouldâve been so mad at you if you felt nothing.â Your cheek puffs out a bit, and every muscle of his body is frozen in place. âSo? What do you think? Arenât I cute?â
âY-y-youâre making me feel weird!â Sakura thinks that if swirly eyes were a thing, he definitely has them right now. The lick you gave him is making him dizzyâ his whole body is starting to feel hot now.
Is this the aphrodisiac, or is it just you? His cock is standing up all on its own, and it's aching so bad. He can feel it start to throb against his pants. What in the world were you doing to him?
âWeird? Youâre so rude.â
Oh, youâre frowning now. He didnât mean to make you frown. âStop looking at me like that!â He wonders if heâs making it worse for himself, but he doesnât want you to leave just yet. âWaitâ â
He decides on grabbing your waist before you choose to leaveâ accidentally pulling you right down on his bulge, and you gasp loudly. âS-shit,â he grits his teeth, ââS sensitiveââ
âAh⌠so you do like me?â Your tail sways back and forth in the air. âIâll make you feel really good if you do! I donât have a lot of experience.. you see..â
âIâŚ. Iâ guess so.â The red dusting the tips of his ears is visible even in the dark, and he averts his gaze to the wall beside him. âYou donât have to leave...â
âOh,â youâre right in front of his face the next second, and he sucks in a sharp breath. âThat makes me so happy, Haruka. I love you..!â
Your lips latch onto his own before he can even comment on the fact that youâve used his first name. His first thought is that your lips feel good against his own. Feels hotâ feels nice. He feels something foreign course through his whole bodyâ and he wants more.
The hands around your waist move to the back of your head. You taste goodâ youâre an inexperienced succubus, right? Heâs so glad you are. It makes him feel a little less overwhelmed with it all.
Heâs moving you onto your back before you even realize itâ not until you feel his cock prodding at your hole. âAre you feeling good?â Your chest rises up and down in small gasps, and he thinks âgoodâ is a bit of an understatement. âBut.. youâre supposed to sit back! Iâm supposed to do itâ ahâŚâ
It feels good when he rubs his tip up and down your folds too. Was your slick also a natural aphrodisiac? He wants to test it- wants to be inside already. It looks like you can tell too, because youâre grabbing his cock to line it up the next second. âHurryâ Haruka. I love you. I love you lots because you think Iâm cute. So I need you inside already. Please?â
Youâre making him feel so weird.
Heâs clenching his jawâ was it normal to want someone close to him this badly? He feels an odd connection with you. It feels nothing short of perfect when he finally pushes inside- and fuck- your slick has to be an aphrodisiac too. It feels too good for his mind to even comprehend.
He doesnât know much about succubi. Can he keep you? Will you be his forever? He doesnât want this to end.
Your moans sound so sweet in his ears. He canât help but move a little faster, slam into you a little harder. He wants to make you feel as good as you make him feel.
Itâs over for him as soon as you latch onto him, arms squeezing around his frame and you flutter the little wings on your back. Do you do that when youâre close?
He wants to learn more about you. Sakura returns your embrace, nuzzling his face into the crook of your neck as he sets a rougher pace against you. It all feels too good- you're so close to him, and heâs reaching so deep inside youâ itâs so warm.
He cums with a loud growl, and you tighten your embrace around him when you feel itâ feel him shooting thick ropes of cum deep inside youâ filling you up until youâre nothing but a panting mess.
âHaruka..â you murmur, walls still fluttering around his length- and he hisses at the sensitivity. âYouâre so nice. I wanna stay here forever.â
âCan I stay?â
His brows furrow. You really are weird.
âI.. guess. I wouldnât mind.. or anything.â

Okay so, weâre obviously Connieâs very spoiled girlfriend
Reader had eyes on this really expensive bag that sheâs been dying to have. She asked Plug!Connie and he has the audacity to tell us no, just to see how weâd react. Reader starts having a really nasty bratty attitude for a week and now daddy gotta set us straight đŤŁ
WARNINGS ⊠â squirting, smoking, sloppy messy blowjob, reader calls con daddy, reader is sensitive emotionally, rough sex, crying, handjob, overstimulation + just nasty stuff (may b a couple mistakes bc i didnt feel like re-reading imma do it later thođ)
JEAN passed the blunt over to Connie, slightly shaking from coughing. Connie, who was sitting on Erenâs couch, shook his head as he scrolled through your ig story. âSwear this lil girl want me to fuck her shit up,â Connie mumbled as he hit the blunt.
Eren laughed from the floor, sitting in a bean bag. âWhat she do now?â
âShe got a lil attitude with me because I told her not to let her fucking demon dog in the room anymore. So now she posting shit she know will make me madâ Connie passed his phone to Eren, letting him look at your story.
âYou spoil that girl wayyy too much anyway,â Jean added.
âWhat you mean?â Connie asked with an attitude.
âShe never listen to your ass because you say yes to everything she says. She literally gets whatever she wants from you.â Connie fights the urge to defend his spoiled princess but, Jean was making a point.
âI mean he did kinda do it to himself, not herâ Eren passed the blunt to Jean.
âBro youâre her bitchâ Jean says in disbelief. âShut yo long headed ass up. I am not her bitchâ Connie defends himself, although a part of him agreed with Jean. Connie never really did put you in check unless it ended with angry sex. He was never super stern with, just letting you get by with everything.
But that was the way it was supposed to be. You were his spoiled little princess who always got what she wanted because she deserves it more than anyone.
âJust tell her no to see how she reactsâ
Connie doesnât give an answer, just contemplating on it.
âIghtâ
âIsnât she gorgeous baby just lookâ You practically shove your phone in Connieâs face. Connie looks at the pink purse. âIâve been obsessing so bad and I neeedd it, pleaseâ Your glossy lips pout as you beg.
Connie furrowed his eyebrows, âMhmm no I think youâre good.â You jerk your head back, trying to process that word, No.
You donât have a great history with the word no.
âNo y/n you canât have thisâ
âNo y/n you canât have thatâ
Why would anyone deny you anything?
âWhat? Why! What did I do? Why not!?â You whined feeling the need to cry.
âYou donât exactly deserve it. You havenât been goodâConnie fought the urge to smile at you, such a crybaby. âWhat!? Baby I have what are you talking about?â You sat up, sitting on Connieâs lap.
âYour instagram stories, you keep going to parties I tell you not to go to. You needa get your act togetherâ You gasped, offended that he was acting so nonchalant. He was basically telling you that he didnât love you anymore.
âSo until you fix your attitude then maybe, you can get itâ Connie practically brushed you off and reached for his blunt. You sat there frozen for a minute, feeling betrayed and heartbroken.
âOkay Connie.â You said in a monotone voice before getting off of Connie and walking out of the room.
The rest of the week has been hell for Connie.
You had one of the worst attitudes ever, giving Connie silent treatment, short answers, and no sex. Were you trying to kill him?
In your point of view, you werenât gonna stop until he apologized ( with an apology gift to go with ).
Connie walked in the house, hearing you blast âMe, Myself, and Iâ by Beyonce. Connie shook his head, obviously understanding the message.
âBaby!â Connie yelled from downstairs.
Meanwhile you sat at your vanity, fixing your hair. Connie opened the door to your beauty room, âYou ain hear me calling you?â He asked while squinting his eyes at you. âI guess not.â Connie watched as you rolled your eyes.
Connie leaned on the door, poking his tongue against his cheek. âWhatâs yo problem?â He finally asked.
You stayed silent.
âIâm talking to you, Y/N.â Connie said sternly.
âNothing Connieâ You stood up, fully showcasing your tight outfit.
â where you goinâ Connie looked you up and down, ignoring his boner and licking his lips.
You were wearing a tight denim mini skirt with baby tee, showing your boobs practically poking out the top. âJust going outâ You grabbed your purse which Connie recognized it as a new one.
You had to buy it yourself since no charges came from Connieâs card and youâve been avoiding him like crazy. Connie knew you were really mad if you start paying for your own stuff. You walked passed him, purposely hitting him with your purse and a small oops leaving your mouth.
Connie just smiled to himself, shaking his head. You were gonna sleep really good tonight.
âWhat I tell you about walking away from me mama?â Connie followed you to the living room. You didnât answer, walking to the front door.
You stood a little shocked as Connie sat on the couch. He got pretty comfortable, reaching for his phone out of his pocket.
Just as you reached for the lock, âY/N come sit down with meâ
Your legs practically went numb as you heard the tone in Connieâs voice. He sounded very very stern which meant he was not in the mood to be fucked with.
Your boldness melted away. Your head immediately went down, avoiding eye contact at all costs.
You sat in the loveseat across from Connie, messing with your fishnets. âI said come sit with me Y/Nâ You didnât hesitate to move the second he said your name.
Yeah he was pissed.
You walked over to Connie, his hand grabbing yours as he pulls you on his lap. You land on Connieâs muscular thigh, his hand immediately going to your inner thigh.
His touch felt good, your attention now focused on the feeling. His tatted fingers massaging your inner thigh.
âWhatâs yo problem? Didnât even care to ask me how my day was,â Connie looked up at you as you stayed silent. A pinch was sent to your inner thigh, making you jump.
âI donât have a problem Connie. I was just trying to have funâ
âWhy you lying to me Y/Nâ Connie grabbed your jaw, forcing you to look at him.
âYou just made me upset and I-I just really wanted the bagâ Connieâs thumb wiped against your bottom lip, smearing your lip gloss.
âInstead of acting like a brat you shouldâve told me that you were upset. I thought we agreed to talk like adults whenever we feel upset with eachother, not do this petty ass silent treatment shit.â
âIâm sorry Conâ Your voice small and quiet out of guiltiness.
âI donât believe you maâ Connie leaned back on the couch, removing his hands from your body.
You whined, missing his touch after you ignored him for days. âI really am daddyâ
Connie almost folded at the pet name, fighting the urge to pound you into the couch until your makeup comes off but that could wait. He wanted to make you beg a little longer.
âI donât believe you. Gonna show me how sorry you are hm?â You quickly nodded, taking place between his spread legs. Your hands immediately went for the band of his sweatpants, tugging them down with eagerness. Connie lifted up his hips, letting you pull down his boxers as well. His cock springing up against his stomach ( his name ainât connie springer for no reasonnnn)
Your tongue ran up his balls, going all the way up to the tip. âFuckâ Connie mumbled to himself, itâs felt like forever since youâve gave him a blowjob.
You hollowed your cheeks as you took him down to the base. You flattened your tongue against the underside of his cock, feeling him stuff your throat.
Your hands rested on the floor besides your knees, stabling yourself as you tried to breathe through your nose.
You gagged once you felt Connie buck his hips upwards. Connieâs hands went to your head, keeping you in place.
Your nose was flush against his lower stomach. Connie thrusted up into your mouth, groaning to himself. The more he looked down at you, the angrier he got.
How dare you ignore him and keep this pretty little mouth away from him. You could feel your scalp become sore from the deadly grip Connie had on it.
The sloppy sound of your gags and the wetness of your mouth filled the living room. The scene was so nasty and filthy, your saliva leaking all around Connieâs cock and your mouth.
Your hands tapped at Connieâs thighs. Connie lifted your head up, letting you breathe. Strings of spit connected from your mouth to Connieâs cock, making him groan.
You panted, feeling your sticky lip gloss all over your mouth.
âStick your tongue outâ Connie slowly stroked himself. You stuck your tongue out. Connie slapped his dick around your tongue, making your saliva drip down to your boobs. Connie rubbed his dick all over your lips before bringing it down to your chest.
âF-fuckâ Connie moaned deeply. Your eyes watered, feeling so humiliated and used.
âYou sorry baby?â Connie asked, slapping your wet cheek. A tear ran down your cheek, running black with your mascara. âY-yesâ You whimpered. Your hands twisted up and down his cock.
â Gonna b-be g..good for me hm?â You stuck your tongue out, looking up at Connie. You watched as Connie pushed out a glob of spit, it landing on your tongue. You swallowed, Connie slapping your cheek once again. âLook at me maâ Your eyes locked with Connieâs before he pushed your head down on his dick again, moving your head up and down. You moaned lightly, causing a vibration to run through connieâs cock. âMake me c-c..ah..cumâ Connie hissed, feeling your take him so deep. Connie could feel his stomach tightening , toes curling, and thighs clenching. âF-fuck babyâ Connie pulled out of your mouth, ribbons of white cum squirting in your face. Connie winced as he rubbed his cum into your face with his tip, smearing it all over your lips (since you like lip gloss so much)
Your mascara ran down your face, making you look an absolute mess. a beautiful mess
âf-fuckfuckfuck mâsorry! i-im sorry daddy, iâm s-s..iâm so sorryâ Your muffled cries fell on deaf ears, Connie continuing his brutal thrusts. He was fucking you so so so hard.
It hurt so bad but felt so good. Your legs went numb rounds ago and your body was a mess, covered in your own fluids mixed with Connieâs.
Your mouth was open, sending your screams into the silk white pillow. Connie hovered above you, holding onto the headboard as he slammed his hips into you. âF-fuck cum againâ Connie ordered you, reaching between your legs to rub your swollen clit.
âI-i canât-â You gasped out, on the verge of passing out. You gripped onto the cold pillows, trying to pull yourself up and away from his torture. Connie took notice of this and wrapped his hand around your throat, pulling you back.
âYou are.â You heard Connie sternly mutter.
You whined, your hand reaching behind you to push Connie away only for Connie to grab both of your hands. He pinned them down on the deep arch in your back, absolutely churning your insides.
âI-i..i promise pa- mânot go..gonna act up anymoreâ You cried out, loosing all of your body strength.
You body physically went numb altogether, a rush of pleasure washes over you. Your legs shook violently. You let out a scream that you were not aware of, clenching hard on Connieâs cock.
âS-shitâ Connie looked down, seeing you wet up his lower body
(âthey told me to stay out that water parkđâ - future baby daddy connie with his five kids tackling him)
The pressure pushed Connieâs cock out of you, causing him to paint your ass with white ribbons.
Connie took a moment to breathe before he moved from above you, your breathing was now steady and you laid flush into the bed.
Connie squinted his eyes, slowly turning your face. No way this girl is sleep right now I ain done
âBaby...BabyâŚ..Babyâ Connie shook your body, waking you up. You whined, going right back to that bratty attitude that Connie loved oh so much.
âWhatttâ You were so exhausted, moving was not an option right now.
After a much needed bath, you fell right asleep with just a bra and panties on. You were knocked out, sleeping all the way until 12 pm.
You woke up to just you in the bed, your house ringing silence. (Marshmallow is at a doggy hotel getting groomed #materialgworlđ
) Instead of waking up to Connieâs presence you woke up to a box with a note on top of it.
âHad to leave early and handle some business with Ony, Iâll be back before you know it. Thank me later sexyâ
You sat the note aside before taking the top off of the pink box, only to see the very purse the got you in this situation to begin with.

CHAPTER ONE
THE MUAD'DIB CHOOSES A BRIDE.
Blood and roses.
âI told you to be careful.â Your sister chided in a motherly tone, despite being only one year older than you, handing you a small handkerchief. With a mouthful of pins, you uttered a small sound of gratitude and used your non-injured hand to finish the task of placing metal rose hair pins in her braided crown. Youâd be in Arrakis in less than an hour but your sister wanted her last precious moments alone to be with you.
âThere, done. My sister, the jewel of the outer world and now Arrakis, I still canât believe this is happening. Do you think he will be kind?â You asked, straightening up to face your sister in the mirror.
You shared the same deep brown skin and nose of your father but that was where the similarities ended. Both of your mothers had been models of the Bene Gesserit order but only one of your mothers had been made wife of a Duke, and the other a concubine, no less loved.
Until your mother passed, leaving you alone to face rumors of her madness. As you grew so did the stories of the concubine who lost her way and denied herself spice and in turn, denied you of a mother and the protection of the order that trained her and your sister.
âPaul Atreides is an abomination, a tainted nova and your sister will make him anew, his kindness is of no importance. You may go, your sister and I need to speak.â Reverend Mother Mohiam said from her place in the doorway.
âI only need a few more minutes with my sister Reverend Mother, weâre nearly ready.â Your sister said, hand in yours.
GO.
A thousand and one tiny cuts into your brain, you found yourself outside of your sisterâs room frozen in place.
You still remember the day Reverend Mother came to take your sister away to train under the sisterhood. You made the mistake asking why, why could you not go together.
âYou carry your motherâs agony. You are not sufficient, there is no bite within you, human child. My order has no need of sentient infirmity.â
The Reverend Mother was correct.
What was to be your life after your sister was gone?
Where would your path lead?
There was no place for agony among the stars.
The heat of Arrakis resembled a distraught lover, sloppy kisses of sweat covered your body, the breeze that accompanied the opening of your ship doors held no comfort.Â
You stood behind your sister, poised to pick up the train of her gown the moment your house would disembark the ship but for some reason, no one could leave yet.
Over her shoulder, your sister smiled, stretching her hand behind her back for you one last time. Yet before you could take it, your sister froze, a sudden faraway look in her eyes. Through your veil you watched her eyes widen, her hands clenched into fists.Â
âHeâs coming here! The Muad'Dib is boarding the ship!â A guard whispered fiercely to another.
No one seemed to notice what was happening but before you took a step towards your sister, her gaze was fixed on you. Despite the heat, you were freezing beneath her stare, unsure if it was your sister or the Bene Gesserit acolyte looking upon you.
The sound of marching feet and chanting distracted you both and all aboard the ship including fell to their knees, the Reverend Mother the only exception. You stood with the others, eyes to the floor, hands shaking as someone made their way down the line, your father making introductions as an attempt at conversation but there was only silence in return.
You waited for the footsteps to end at your sister but they continued on, barely masked gasps filled the now crowded ship and a pair of boots entered your line of vision.
REMOVE YOUR VEIL.Â
The trembling in your fingers instantly vanished and with otherworldly precision, you removed the veil from your face, the silk sliding down the back of your braids and to the floor.
The MuadâDib was looking at you.Â
      âHer.â
One by one, every Feydakin behind him took a knee and your house got over their confusion quickly, copying the motion, your sister, eyes wet, included.Â
Paul Atreides bowed before you, blue within blue eyes never leaving yours.
      âWelcome to Arrakis.â
Thatâs our first chapter, I hope you like it! If you would like to see chapter two, please interact with this chapter, comment or reblog! Thank you for reading.Â

Can you do twst child fem reader who always accidentally calls the dorm leaders dad and clings onto them since they miss their dad and isnât taking the whole separation thing well please??
Suddenly a father
I am so so sorry this took so long!! I do hope you enjoy it <3 I do have a character limit, so I just picked the ones I had an idea for!!
---------------------------------------------------------
Clingy child!reader calls them dad
Characters: Riddle, Vil, Idia
Format: Headcanons
Warnings: none that I can think of
Riddle
-To say Riddle was concerned when a magicless child suddenly appeared is an understatement, and when Crowley decided to let you live in the Ramshakle dorm, on it's own, aside from Grim, the concern doubled.
-So, he pulled some strings, and now you're staying in heartslabyul!Â
-Riddle did act similar to a parental figure. He is rather strict, but certainly not as strict as his mother, and while he does try and teach you all the rules, and the consequences of breaking them, he is much more lenient with you. Ace is jealous
-Chances are, you get a tart for every 15 rules you memorize, or if you've been especially good, you'll get a small tart as a reward!
-Seeing like how much he's acting like a dad, that is what your yet to be fully developed brain perceived him as.
-So, you follow him everywhere, like a lost puppy. It confuses him a bit, but he doesn't stop you, as there isn't a rule forbidding you from doing so! Also, he worries about you whenever you leave his line of sight
-When he hears you call him dad for the first time, he's shocked, to say the least! He is still in college, he has yet to get a stable career, find a suitable partner, buy his own house, hE ISN'T READY TO BE A FATHER!!Â
-He is frozen in shocked, leaving you to tuck on his sleeve with a questioning look, till Trey gently suggests that the sudden change must be very hard on you, and that Riddle is the closest thing you currently have to a fatherÂ
-It's a realization that hit him hard. Once the Realisation settles in, he doesn't correct you when you do- in fact, he now feels like it's his responsibility to take care of you now. Your parents aren't there, the Headmage isn't trustworthy, and he is the housewarden of the Dorm you're staying in! Plus, it's hard to seperate you from him, without upsetting you, so his fate is sealed anyway-
-Not much changes after, just that he is ever so slightly more caringÂ
Vil
-He was very shocked to see a child at the entrance ceremony, to say the least.Â
-Immediately takes you under his wing, no questions asked. He doesn't know why, but something about you tugged on his heart strings
-you get your own room at pomefiore, and the students of the Dorm take turns babysitting you- but Vil and rook is the first to volunteer if someone can't take care of you on their assigned day!
-Vil would take care of you everyday, but he's a busy man, he has movies to film, photo shoots to do, a dorm to run, ect... but he does try to be thereÂ
-Has posted you on magicamp, but never your face! He'll only post your face once your old enough to decide and consent! Meanwhile his fans are going crazy, trying to figure out if your his little sibling/cousin or if their favourite star is a teen parent!
-You start to run to, and go with him whenever you can, and if he can't take you with him, you patiently wait till he returns, before practically jumping into his armsÂ
-He is brushing your hair, getting you ready for bed, when you call him dad.Â
-he pauses for a moment, taking by shock, before simply continuing on. He knows he is to young to be a father, not to mention to busy. He knows that you most likely have parents waiting for you at home.. yet he can't bring himself to correct you, while you almost fall asleep as he continues brushing your hair.Â
-He supposes that, until a way home for you has been found, he can take on a parently role for you
Idia
-He doesn't even realise you're there until the commotion starts, cause, you know, he isn't physically there. When he does, he doesn't know what to do, so he tries to avoid the situation.Â
-But you don't let him, being far to fascinated by the floating Ipad, following him around.
-It gets to a point where Crowley decides that you'll stay at Ignihyde under his watch!.. Idia freezes in shock, he doesn't know how to take care of a child!
-At first you're completely under Ortho's control- Half the dorm can't even take care of themselves, and you expect them to take care of a child? Ortho's the only one there keeping you alive.
-Nonetheless, you keep running to Idia, you don't know why either, something about him just feels like home.
-At first the small, clingy you terrified him, but eventually he gets used to you. He lets you stay in his room when you want to and occasionally shares his snacks with you!Â
-After you show an interest in Technology, he teaches you the basics, and lets you watch when he builds something! with proper safety regulations, of course! He is gonna end up turning you into an ipad kid
-It is during one of these lessons that you call him dad. He short-circuts, and Ortho has to catch the tool Idia was holding, before it smashes into the machine-Â
-Even after Ortho analyses and explains the situation, he is still in a bit of shock with no idea what to do. He very quietly corrects you, but it's barely audible. Meanwhile Ortho is celebrating having a new family member!
-Every time you call him dad, he freezes up for a moment, before quietly correcting you, only to not be heard :)Â
Very fun to write, but Iâll be honest, Iâm not around children much, so I donât really know how they act :,) once again, so sorry you had to wait around a month for this request ^^â
Feedback is welcome, just be nice!!
Hope you have a great day/night <3

connect (with you)
synopsis â kurooâs walls come down after the game with karasuno.
content info â some hurt/comfort with our beloved nekoma captain because he deserves all the love in the world đ SPOILERS for the dumpster battle movie so beware. reader is mentioned to be kenmaâs sister a few times.
authorâs note â just wanna say hi to the haikyuu fandom :) hope u enjoy this short drabble i wrote, iâll probably make it look pretty later. lmk if you wanna see more kuroo x kozume!reader in the future.
your lips are on kurooâs before the locker room door even has a chance to close. his skin is soft and familiar, his kiss eager yet vulnerable. something compels you to reach up, circling your arms around his neck as you pull him closer, tighter, until youâre sure that his warmth has become your own. the sound of his breathing is the only thing keeping you tethered to the ground as your mouths meet again and again. no words need to be spoken.
after years of being together, and even more years of being friends, you know tetsurou like the back of your hand. as if heâs perpetually been woven into your spirit, etched into your heart since the day he moved into the house next to you and your brotherâs.
you know that the cheery grin he shot his teammates, the reverent bow he gave to the crowd, and the meaningful hug he shared with daichi at the end of the match were all borne out of three thingsâhis sworn responsibilities as the captain, his earnest respect for karasuno, and the addictive rush of adrenaline.
the moment he left behind the arenaâs blinding lights, though, the high seemed to wear off.
yet an aching feeling stayed with him.
when you pour your heart out on the court and play until your muscles feel like theyâre on fire, when you devote hours of your precious time towards practicingâtowards smoothening out every crack within your blocks, every blemish within your serves, every falter within your receivesâand when you imagine the game countless numbers of times in your head until it feels like a memory, thereâs a certain type of pain you feel when itâs all over. itâs a sadness thatâs inevitable, and yet one that stings so profoundly and uniquely that it becomes a bittersweet moment youâre bound to remember for the rest of your life.
just one more second, one more chanceâ you think to yourself in a flurry of desperation. because as foolishly selfish as it sounds, nobody ever truly wants the game to end.
that feeling of wanting to remain frozen in the experience is something you yourself are all too familiar with. volleyball, after all, was what gave birth to the connection you now so deeply share with tetsurou.
you suppose thatâs why youâre able to pinpoint the exact moment his shoulders start to shake.
pulling away from the kiss, you feel your heart plummet into your stomach before you can even see the tears trickling down his face. something youâve come to learn about tetsurou is that he rarely ever cries, so when he does, it only makes the sight that much more impactful. wordlessly, you pull him into you once more.
the way your arms firmly, comfortingly wrap around his tall figure conveys a simple but invaluable message that resonates throughout the empty roomâ âiâm not letting you go.â
quietly, he sobs. you let him.
you barely notice your nekoma jacket becoming damp with his tears. when his crying slowly starts to recede, you break the silence, voice soft and tender. âyou were amazing out there, tetsurou,â you whisper. âand thereâs three things i want to thank you for.â
withdrawing by the tiniest sliver, just enough so he can meet your patient gaze, your boyfriend tilts his head slightly in the way he always does. his fingers subconsciously trace patterns across the small of your back. âwhat are they, baby?â his voice is quiet and a little hoarse. really, itâs a miracle that you manage to block out your own shadows of sadness.
âone,â you whisper, fingers reaching out to gently wipe away his tears, âthank you for being the best captain this team could ever ask for.â
âtwo,â you continue, leaning in to kiss away the tears that remain, before a small smile pulls at the corners of your lips, âthank you for helping my brother fall in love with volleyball.â
âand three,â you breathe out, your vulnerable gaze meeting his own, lips inching towards his once more, âthank you for being as strong as youâve been, and for carrying the worldâs burden on your shoulders when none of us could.â
when you finish your heartfelt confession, tetsurouâs hazel eyes glaze over with a fresh wave of tearsâthis time, however, itâs for an entirely different reason.
and this time, heâs the one that kisses you first.

Pt1 | Pt2 | this one is the last part!
After Steve has dropped Nancy off at her house â and Nancy has talked some courage into him â he drives to the uglier part of town, over Cornwallis and then into Forest Hills. He can only hope Eddie is home. If not, he'll try Jeff's house, and then Freak's or Gareth's. He had to promise Nancy he'll keep searching even if it has him ending up at Reefer Rick's boathouse again.
Luckily, no such search actions seem necessary when he gets to the trailer park: as soon as Steve opens his car door, he can hear loud music emerging from inside the Munsons' trailer. Even though it isn't exactly Eddie's usual taste, something tells Steve that Wayne definitely isn't the one who put this one on.
Should have known better than to cheat a friend And waste a chance that I've been given So I'm never gonna dance again The way I danced with you
He knocks on the door, but is not surprised when no one inside seems to hear him, so he pushes it open to let himself in instead.
He finds Eddie sprawled out on the floor in front of the old boombox. His eyes are closed, but even from Steve's place in the doorway he can see how swollen and red the skin underneath them is. His hair is spread out around his head on the floor like a dark halo, and his fingers are restlessly tapping on his own arm to the melody of the saxophone solo.
Steve finds himself frozen in the doorway, captivated by simply watching Eddie lying there in his own bubble while the music slowly fades out. Despite the sadness radiating off him, there's something weirdly beautiful about it, and Steve can't look away, can't move, can't make a sound.
Then, Eddie suddenly sits up; his index finger is already stretched out towards the rewind button when Steve clears his throat to make his presence known. Eddie whips his head towards him with a startled sound.
'Jesus Christ, what the hell?!' he yells out. 'How long have you been standing there? No, you know what, don't answer that, just get the hell out!'
'Eddie, I-'
'I don't wanna hear any of it, man! I thought â no, I'm not talking to you. Fuck you.' Steve knows it's supposed to sound angry, but Eddie's voice starts wobbling dangerously towards the end of his sentence.
'Eddie, please just hear me out,' Steve says, stepping further into the trailer. The end of Careless whisper has left a deafening silence in its wake. He half expects Eddie to cover his ears and start singing loudly, but he's only met with a teary-eyed death stare and crossed arms.
'I'm not seeing any girl, Dustin got it all wrong,' he starts to explain. 'I wanted to tell him who I was really seeing, but I couldn't - not without your permission - so I told him I was seeing someone. Meaning you. I haven't been seeing anyone ever since that first time we kissed. I didn't need to. I've only been thinking about you.' He pauses. It's scary, to let himself be vulnerable like this while Eddie is still looking at him like he despises him. But he takes a deep breath and pushes himself to say it all.
'I don't want to see anyone, boy or girl, ever again, as long as I can have you, Eddie. I promise. I've been falling for months, but I didn't wanna scare you off with any labels you might not want for us â but you're it for me, Eddie, one hundred percent. I never meant to hurt you like this. It's all a big misunderstanding; there's no one else for me.'
Eddie is still sitting on the floor, looking up at Steve with wide, teary eyes. Something in his face has slowly shifted while Steve was talking; the harsh lines around his mouth have turned softer and the betrayal in his eyes has made way for something Steve can only hope to be good.
'You wanted to tell Dustin about us?' is all Eddie says, his voice croaky.
Steve takes another step towards Eddie, then crouches down to the ground until he's sitting right next to him on the worn carpet.
'I mean, I know I don't wanna hide what I'm feeling for you. Especially not when people are thinking I'm going out with some girl when all I want is to be with you.' He reaches out to grab Eddie's hands in his own. 'So yeah, I think I wanna tell Dustin. And everyone else, basically. That is, if we're on the same page about what we are.'
Eddie frees one of his hands from Steve's grip to wipe it over his eyes. His palm is wet when his hand finds Steve's again.
'What about boyfriends?' he says, a hesitant smile creeping onto his face.
Steve squeezes his hands, unable to stop a matching smile of his own appearing. To hear that word falling from Eddie's mouth... He had expected it to feel good, of course, but he had never anticipated it to feel like this: like the whole world suddenly makes sense again.
'Yeah, I can do boyfriends,' he answers, his voice breathy with the multitude of emotions bubbling up inside of him. 'That sounds â sounds good. Great. Perfect.'
Eddie surges forward to catch him in a kiss that's a bit wetter than Steve is used to. Steve happily kisses him back, though, and he can barely suppress a shiver when one of Eddie's hands makes its way upwards over Steve's back and into the hair in his neck. There's a softness to his touch that easily drives Steve crazy with relief.
When they pull back, both of them are smiling dumbly and breathing heavily.
'I'm sorry I had so little trust in you,' Eddie tells him.
'That's okay, I understand,' Steve is quick to answer. 'As long as you leave listening to George Michael to me again from now on.'
Eddie makes a face, causing a big frown to appear between his eyebrows, along with all kinds of wrinkles around his nose.
'God, I can't believe you witnessed that and still wanted to be my boyfriend,' he says, adding an exaggerated shudder for extra dramatics.
Steve clenches his arms tighter around Eddie. 'You won't scare me off that easily,' he murmurs. 'It was kind of adorable.'
'It was pathetic.'
'Yeah, a little bit. But in an adorable way.'
Eddie rolls his eyes. 'You're an idiot, Steve Harrington,' he says. 'But... In an adorable way.'

YJ S3 Dick, still in the midst of his fever dream, hides underneath the 'souvenir' instead of behind some boxes, and accidentally opens the airlock trying to take care of the Parademons. The others get it to close... but not before Nightwing is thrown into space.
There, he stares at the ship holding his friends and mentors. There, he wishes more than anything that he can, somehow, survive. There, he tries to live, if only so his family don't have to bury him like Jason.
There, Nightwing dies, wanting to save everyone, even with the cold seeping into his bones far too quickly for a regular section of space.
Then, Dick opens his eyes to... Earth? There's a little house, and grass, and trees, but there's a bubble of green over it all. Outside of that green was an entire castle, one that looked like it should have far more support beams than it does for even a hope that it stays standing.
And the sky was swirling shades of that same green. It makes him think of Lazarus.
"Well, that's something you don't see every day." He whips his head behind him, a bit too fast for Earth's atmosphere, but it doesn't hurt him. Past the bubble of green was a blue-skinned adult in purple robes, the insides of a grandfather-clock fitted inside their torso, and a black staff with a stopwatch on its top. Beside them was a man with snow white hair, glowing green eyes, a crown of frozen fire dancing above his head, and the most galaxy-like cloak Dick's ever seen clasped to his shoulders. He's wearing... a hazmat suit? Maybe? The twinkling stars and odd lighting of wherever he is were giving him a bit of a headache.
But in front of those two, within this bubble, was...
"DICK!" Wally shouted with unrestrained glee, a blur overtaking his spot for barely a heartbeat before Dick's stuck in a crushing hug that he reciprocates once his brain stops feeling like its melting.
He doesn't know how long it took for them to calm down, but the man with the crown spoke up after a time, as Wally was still wiping their faces free of tears. "Welcome to the Infinite Realms, Nightwing." Dick barely even registered that he was still wearing his suit, but now it felt suffocating. "I suppose you're the one Clockwork was holding out for; There shouldn't've been enough Ectoplasm around you to form a Ghost, and your physical body's still in space. I can see why you like this one, though, Clockie," he states flippantly, turning to his companion. Almost like he didn't expect Dick to pay too close attention to what he was saying.
"Either way, there's two options for you." The man didn't let Dick swallow his tears and question anything. Dick's not sure if he's grateful or not. "First: Stay in the Realms permanently. You'll see Kid Flash whenever you want and learn to be a Ghost with the denizens of the Realms. Maybe find your parents."
"But..." Dick pulls away from Wally, keeping him at arms length, eyes flitting between them. The two outside the bubble were distinctly... ghost-like, so the mentions of 'Ghosts' make sense. But Wally looked... alive. A bit pale, a bit thin... but alive. Dick can't see any of his own skin to see if it was blue or tinted that way, but the Nightwing symbol on his chest kept flickering between its own blue and this 'Realms' green. "But--What about the others? What about you? Why can't you come home?" The last two, he focuses on Wally, because now he can feel a heartbeat beneath his gloves. Wally's alive. He's alive.
His friend just shrugs. "Something about their portals not fit for the living? I'm meant to wait for someone to figure out a permanent portal, but they won't tell me how long that'll take." Wally glares at the... 'Ghosts'? There was a heat to it, but it also seemed like this was a well-worn argument.
"The permanent portal was always an 'if', Wallace West. And that is entirely dependent on if Richard Grayson takes the second option," the clock Ghost--Clockwork?--speaks up. But instead of the adult Dick was expecting, there was an elderly Ghost in their place. Still with the time motif. Was that... more literal than Dick took it?
"Yes, the second option..." The crowned man glares daggers at Clockwork. The temperature dips below comfortable. Dick tries to blink the spaceship and stars out of his sight, withdrawing his arms from Wally to try and warm himself. Tries to remember he's not in space. "The second option is that you return to your body... changed. You'll be able to protect Earth better, stay with your alive family, save the Lost Ones... for a price."
Dick doesn't know if he should ignore the plural in 'Lost Ones'. He doesn't know if he's reading too much into how, in this Realm, apparently only his parents were able to be found. Where's Jason? He doesn't dare hope, but...
"What's the price?"
The man smiles and a ring of blue forms around his waist. It splits in two and travels up and down his body, replacing the cloak and whatever clothes he was actually wearing with a NASA shirt, worn jeans, and red sneakers actually duct taped together. The blue tint to his otherwise tan skin fades completely. His hair turns black. His eyes turn blue.
He was like a taller, slightly slimmer, way hotter version of Bruce.
The man walks through the bubble, but doesn't disturb the grass beneath his feet. "You become the Ghost King's vassal." Dick flinches away and almost hides behind Wally. "Not my idea! But, well... it is either this, or your permanent death."
"What does becoming a vassal do to him?" Wally asks, gently trying to stop Dick from breaking his ribs with how tightly he was hugging himself. Does he even have ribs?
"He gains my powers. Ice, electricity, invisibility, intangibility, flight... He becomes a Halfa. He becomes what I was, in life. Just... needing to make offerings to me, now and then. Something like that, at least. I give him powers, he gives me a chunk of, I don't know, chocolate once a week. Like a warlock."
Wally keeps talking to the man, keeps getting information that he knows he should pay attention to, but something in his chest screams to accept this deal, and he can't focus on anything else.
Nightwing can protect. He can return to life and go back to BlĂźdhaven, be the Vigilante they need. He can visit Gotham every now and then, help with cases and stop criminals from harming others. He can see his brother. He can see his friends. He can eat Alfred's cookies, and have little get-togethers with Babs and the Team--hell, he can argue with Bruce.
And all he has to do is... give an offering to this guy? The Ghost King? Every once in a while?
"There's no other price?" The King turns his attention to Dick. His eyes had shifted to a blue-green that almost hypnotize him. The green swirls, the blue forms and melts like snowflakes, and he can't look away.
He takes another step forward and Wally steps to the side. There was familiarity between them. Wally deferred to him. Dick can't quite tell why. Though, with how Wally hasn't once looked at Clockwork, maybe it's because he's... grounded? Are all speedsters in trouble with, what, the Ghost of Time? That... actually makes perfect sense.
"I'll be honest, Nightwing: You've impressed me." The weight behind the King's words lifts the ones that've been on his shoulders since he was nine. "You remind me of myself. Maybe, if I wasn't a Halfa... If I had a mentor... I could've been like you.
"Despite Clockwork's insistence over the years that I get back in touch with the living, I've held off. When he eventually suggested that I help create another Halfa, I locked him in his tower for twenty years. I didn't want anyone to go through what I had. But, now... I see that you won't. You can't. Even if you hide this deal--our shared powers... You'll still have people by your side. Strong people. Smart people. You can already handle yourself. And I'd love to see what you can do--who you can save--with my help."
There was maybe two inches between their faces when the King finishes speaking. Dick roves his eyes across the other's face, trying to find the common and familiar ticks that show lies and deceit and manipulation. All he finds is sincerity and genuine care.
Wally plays with his fingers from the corner of his eye, gaze hopeful as he looks between the two of them. Wally, who was alive and breathing and able to leave if he accepts. Eventually. Somehow.
Dick Grayson sends a quiet apology to his parents and hopes they will forgive him for being a little bit selfish.
"I accept."
He flings his eyes open. Above him, domino mask too wobbly to be properly secured anymore, was Robin crying and begging him to wake up. His hands were sloppily placed over his heart. Batman was trying to drag him away, the firm set of his jaw screaming grief.
Nightwing gasps once he registers his lungs burning.
There's a large cacophony of noise, multiple bright suits and people hounding over him, and the distinct artificial taste of slightly-too-much oxygen that the ship with the Parademons had. That he flew out of and died. He was still too cold.
Someone moves their arm beneath his knees and shoulder and Dick passes out.
(Dick 'Nightwing' Grayson dies in space. Ghost King Danny Phantom likes this too-human Hero. They split their souls in half, take one piece of the others, and all they know is that Phantom is now Nightwing's Patron Deity. Danny uses ice, for electricity killed him. Hi I just read fixer user and I loved it! I was wondering if you could do a part 2 đđ
an act of true love
A/N: (your pfp made me scream and curl my toes) an unexpected amount of ppl rlly enjoyed this dynamic. i suppose i have found my people đ¤ (gif creds: @kingofscoops)
Pairing: Steve Harrington x Fem!Reader (Season 3)
Summary: In the dead of winter, thereâs absolutely nothing that could keep you warm. After all, only an act of true love can thaw a frozen heart. 1.5k words
Warnings: fluff, mutual pining, pet names (sweetheart), mention of toxic ex boyfriend, cursing, gross flirting
Steve can hear you shivering through the receiver and your stuttered breaths crackling through the cord. Youâre begging him to come over and fix your radiator in the middle of a snow storm. The roads arenât closed yet, but a thin white powder blankets his front lawn and the top of his beemer and he can see the flakes whipping through the stream of light pouring from the streetlamp. So, he piles every blanket he has into his passenger seat and braves the drive to your house.
Does he know how to repair a busted radiator? No.
Is he determined to do anything you require of him? Every single day for the rest of his life.
Heâs crouched by the window of your living room, looking for any telltale signs of wear or leaking. Youâre standing just behind him, bundled in two blankets and holding a spare flashlight. Heâs quiet as he tinkers, but your mind is racing watching his soft toned arms through his cream thermal and his back muscles working when he turns over his shoulder to glance at you with a dashing smile. You nod quickly when he says something, though youâre not exactly sure what.
âSweetheart?â he coos, raising his brows when you recoil under his gaze.
âSorry, I didnât⌠I wasnât listening,â you say with a chuckle. He grins, dropping his head in understanding.
âSorry, I know itâs boring,â he says, âbut has it been making noises or anything?â
âOh, yeah! It kinda groans when I first turn it on and it sounds like it might explode for the first couple minutes. I guess Iâve tuned it out by now.â
âThatâs probably not a good sound then,â he teases, turning back to the radiator with a puzzled look.
âNo, probably not.â You shuffle off to the kitchen, setting a kettle on the stove and humming softly.
After half an hour of tinkering and a roll of tape, Steve stands and wipes his hands on his jeans.
âThat should do it! Itâll probably take a sec to heat up again,â he sighs, and you emerge from the kitchen, balancing two hefty mugs brimming with whipped cream. âOoh, whatâs this?â
âHot cocoa. Secret family recipe,â you tease. In actuality, itâs just the standard package of chocolate powder and sugar. The secret lies in the healthy dash of cinnamon you mix into it.
âSecret, eh? Guess that gives me a reason to come see you more often,â he hums, following you to the couch and taking one of the mugs from your hands. It warms him up nicely, and he knows you gave him the bigger mug on purpose when you smile triumphantly. He takes a sip, moaning at the sweetness. You giggle at the whipped cream kissing his top lip.
âI hope Iâm reason enough,â you say with a faux pout. He sits close enough to share the pile of blankets with you, your thighs pressed against one another in the captured heat.
âDuh, youâre the main attraction,â he huffs, âYour hot chocolate is like the flashy side show. Itâs pretty neat but not quite as cool as the reason you bought the ticket.â
You giggle into your mug, face hot in the bellowing steam. Or because of his dimpled cheeks. Or the way his eyes swoop over your face. Or maybe the way he came rushing to your rescue in a storm without a second thought.
âAny new Brad-related developments? Or is he still giving you shit?â he says, swallowing a warm gulp of liquid chocolate.
You groan, head lulling back against the couch. âHe keeps calling to say Iâm a cold hearted bitch and then immediately hang up. I think he forgot that heâs the one who broke up with me.â
âRight, right. Whyâs that again?â
âSomething about his familyâs values. And how he hates my friends,â you say, âI just remember getting mad because he seemed so jealous and mistrusting. Honestly, in hindsight, he was really childish about the whole thing.â
You shrug it off, but it snaps his heart in two all over again. He doesnât even want to know the gorey details because he knows itâll boil his blood. Just knowing that asshole said something like that to you makes his fists ball up in frustration. But he thinks of what you said. What did Brad have to be jealous about; he had the entire world and Steve never bat an eye. Not to you, at least.
âJealous?â Steve asks.
âYeah, heâd give me all these ultimatums where Iâd have to choose between you and him. So random,â you huff. Though, maybe he was justified in some way. You and Steve have been this close since the day you met. Any love interest would feel threatened by his charm and that smile.
âOh⌠weirdââHe watches you take a cautious sip from your mug like maybe you regret saying anything at allââYeah. Thatâs random. Had no idea I posed such a threat to that guy. He seemed so⌠self-assured.â
You stare blankly, shrugging when you mutter, âyou can call him a narcissistic prick, i don't care. And yeah, I was kinda surprised the first time he brought it up, because a big part of why I was attracted to him was for his confidenceâ you chuckle, âNo idea what went wrong!
Steve absentmindedly squares his shoulders, sitting up straught on the plush cushions trying to make himself look strong and reliable and confident. You sip your hot chocolate and look at him funny.
âAre you okay?â you say, holding in a laugh.
He nods. âOh, yeah. Iâm just super confident âs all.â
You snort, choking on the sip youâd sucked down, pinching your eyes closed when he lurches forward with a worried look slapped across his face.
âShit, here, let me help,â he huffs, setting his mug aside and wiping the drips from your chin with his sleeve, âOh, god, are you hurt???â
You cackle with tears pricking in your eyes when he carefully takes your mug and places it next to his. You pat dry your neck, and he watches you softly.
âStevie, youâre so sweet.â
His heart flutters in his warm chest when you smile at him.
âWell, I dunno about that.â
âNo, seriously. Youâre so caring and thoughtful, Iâve never met anyone like you,â you whisper.
He takes a shaky breath in.
âThank you, sweetheart.â
You nod heartily and grin wide, and you notice heâs staring at you. So you kick his calf under the blanket.
âHey, ouch!â
You giggle, but heâs quick to grab the crook of your knee and tug you close so youâre laying flat on the couch. Your hands cover your face when he tickles your sides and leans over you playfully. Heâs almost glad you canât see him blushing or feel his heart racing or hear his head booming with thoughts of you. He gasps when you plant your socked foot on his thigh, but he holds your elbow gently to keep you close to him while he leans over you.
Youâre laughing, and he can confidently say itâs his favorite sound. You palm his chest, and he takes a deep breath in. Your eyes flick open because youâve never felt someones heart beat so fast and so warm just beneath your fingertips. Heâs flushed and pink but he looks like a prince in the orange lamplight. And heâs so close to you.
Your fingers curl into the collar of his shirt, barely grasping, and you crane your neck towards him. You watch his honey eyes draw over your lips just before he leans in and kisses you.
His hand molds into your side, melting over the exposed skin like hot syrup. You press into his hold and smile with your fingers drawing up and across the back of his neck.
But the kiss short lived when he pulls away, shoving a hand through his ruffled hair.
âSorry, sweetheart,â Steve huffs, standing and backing away, âI donât know what Iâm doing. I should go!â
He crosses the floor in a daze, forcing his feet back into his shoes before you even can sit up and call after him.
âSteve, wait!â
But heâs shaking his head and reaching for the ice cold door handle with his jacket barely slung over his shoulders. He whips the door open, and you can see the pure white snow floating down in sheets outside.
âKeep the blankets! Just call me if the radiator breaks again, and Iâll see you!â
The door slams shut.
You tut, hand coming to your lips as you look around at the scene before you. The abandoned mugs on the coffee table, his blankets folded over the back of the couch, your repaired radiator whirring softly in the corner. The absence of Steve. What would the kids say. You know theyâd lose it, but would they be upset if you ended up together. Would they realize they changed their minds and youâd jeopardized not only your friendship with Steve but with the entire party.
What if everything changes?
Oh, but what if nothing changes: you and Steve tip toeing around each other, the kids scheming and giggling at your misfortune, but now changed by the fact that youâve kissed Steve. And he kissed you back. And you like him so much.
"Oh, god.â

Reader can be read as gn or whoever you see fit.
Dick
âIs that you?â Dick asks softly as he neared you.
âNo.â You replied in hopes that heâd leave but you knew deep down that he wouldnât, not if leaving meant leaving you behind also. Not the way you chose to erase yourself out of the picture for this stupid suicide mission.
Dick on the other hand was hellbent to not loose you again, the house you both built wasnât a home if you werenât in it to share it with him and Hayley, the poor dog was still fast sleeping on your side of the bed before Dick left for his nightly patrol; Hayley missed you very much and would whimper when she realises that your scent was slowly fading away.
It hurt Dick more then he liked to admit, and he tried to suppress it for as long as he could but he would often find himself trying to look for you in other people, other things but it always ended with him looking at the pictures of the two of you on the wall and feeling nothing but cold. Everything felt out of place without you but Dick would always try to act as though he was coping better then he was behind closed doors doors, clutching at the clothes youâll never wear again as he silently sobs into the fabric.
Now here you were stood before him in what people would call as pure coincidence or luck because anyone would give anything to see their lost ones again, absolutely anything, even if it was by morally questionable means and Dick can understand the reason why that might be.
âI- I wish I could tell you but I canât.â You replied, not wanting to put Dick in danger because of the dangerous people youâve wronged.
âWhy not?â Dick asked, worried that something had happened when he wasnât nearby to help.
âIt doesnât concern you.â You told him as you tried to make distance but Dick was quick to close it. âIt does concern me if it involves you.â He says lowly, gently reaching out to hold your face to make sure this was real and not a dream and when you leaned into his touch, eyes closed shut Dick lets out a relieved sigh as his thumbs stroke your cheeks. âSo please, donât make me loose you again. let me help.â He whispered, resting his forehead against yours.
Now you really couldnât reject his help, he made it impossible just like how he made it impossible for you not to fall in love with him all over again.
Tim
Didnât know what to expect from what he was seeing.
He had heard that there was someone of your stature going about town during the night but he wasnât one to believe it until heâs seen it with his own eyes. So when he did catch of glimpse of you or someone pretending to be you, he didnât know what to do, he was brought back to where he was when he found out about your supposed death; helpless and confused as to how such a thing could happen.
It wasnât until your eyes met his did Tim feel his blood go cold from how dull and borderline dead your eyes looked when glaring right at him. There was a flash of familiarity but that was gone before Tim could blink, something was wrong, very wrong but he didnât know what exactly.
You werenâtâŚwell you.
Now Tim did have dreams about what heâd do if you were to be magically reanimated, brought back to life but those were dreams for a reason, a alternative reality that didnât abide to realism or the more likeliest of outcomes; this was reality and reality wasnât pretty and is often disappointing on most accounts.
So Tim stood there, frozen as you made a quick exit, much to the confusion of his siblings -Dick and Damian- who knew how hard your death had struck Tim, they didnât need to be told how difficult it mustâve been to see your dead partner somehow alive again.
âAre you okay?â Dick asks.
âSomethings wrong.â Tim said. âWhy would they feel the need to fake their own death and not tell me about it beforehand?â He asks himself.
âOnly if someone powerful wanted you dead.â Damian suggested. âWhat other reason is there besides that one?â
âIf thatâs truly is the case,â Tim began as he looked between Dick and Damian, âthen why reappear after only a week? Itâd be common sense to stay low for far longer until the smoke clears, unless...â
Dick then places a hand on Timâs shoulder. âLooks like weâve got work to do.â
Tim wasnât certain what he would do if you ever did come back, but now it seems as though he did know; to save you from whatever has been nipping at your heels.
Jason
Wasnât sure whether or not the sleepless nights had finally caught up to him ever since your passing, spending them staring at the door to your shared bedroom as though youâd magically walk through it with a smile, telling him that everything that had happened was just a nightmare before kissing him on the forehead and cuddling into his side to fall asleep.
However Jason had pinched his skin that many times to know well enough that was all a fallacy created by his own mind because he didnât want you seeing the man heâd become from whether afterlife you resided in.
So when he spotted sow thing he believes looked a lot like your silhouette, his body followed after it, much like it did whenever things pertaining to you sparked that sense of familiarity within him, that sense of home and belonging. However this lack of subtly on his end didnât end up well as he was soon enough laid flat out on his back as your masked face hovered over his.
âWhy were you following me?â You asked through gritted teeth.
âI thought you were dead.â He replied In disbelief.
âThat was the plan until you ruined it.â You grunted as you pulled him up to his feet, âyou werenât followed were you?â You asked as your eyes shifted from shadow to shadow.
âNo, listen sweetheart-â Jason tried to speak but you sharply shushed him. âWhatâs going on, you can tell me.â He now whispers and you sigh, finding it hard to exist within the same space as Jason without hugging him to death, but you couldnât risk dragging him into your troubles.
âI canât.â You tell him, knowing that there was a heartbroken expression behind that red helmet of his, âand even if I can all I would be allowed to say is that some bad people are after me.â Jasonâs shoulders tensed at this.
âWhy did you say anything earlier.â He asked, he was holding back from exploding because had this been brought up earlier then maybe, just maybe, he wouldnât have to be subjected to witnessing your âdeath.â âI couldâve helped you out-â
âAnd risk you becoming their next target? Not thanks Jason I already lost you once Iâm not doing it again.â You tell him firmly but he wasnât having it, not after what you put him through. âAnd I thought I lost you or has that not ever come to mind.â He bites back with the sharpness of someone who was deeply hurt by the actions of someone who he loved more than life.
âJason.â You tried to say but you knew him better then most, once his mind had been made up there was little chance to change it.
âNo. Iâm going to help you get out of this mess, either you want me to or not, this is my war now.â Jason tells you as he marched ahead. You sighed as you followed after him.
This was going to be a long night.

turning point. gregory house
đĽźđŠş | you and house despise each other. today's supposed to be any other night, but house kisses you.
warnings/tags! light enemies-to-lovers, angst if you squint your eyes, younger woman x older man, emotional revelations, no dialogue, and they kiss!

a/n: i can't believe people are sending in things in my inbox wow if you have any requests/ideas or little topics of conversations don't shy away and send them my way! enjoy ducklings <3
house reaches for your wrist, taking you into his grasp, and pulling you flush against his body. you jolt at the sudden motion, left hand landing and pressing on his chest. sure eyes linger on your face for a fraction of a second. beauty eclipsing any and all thought working the cogs in his busy mind. all he thinks to himself is how breathtaking you are in this moment.
many a time the two of you would rather bicker, almost estranged in your sidings with cuddy. but you were legally bound by contract to side with her, serving as a board member this year.
tonightâs no different, youâre here because of houseâs opposition to a hospital policy you and the board proposed. heâs been on a childish campaign to get you to concede to his wishes, after all he does whatever he wants in the hospital. but he makes a deductive confession that changes the tune of your usual argument. and tonightâs a little different, with it being the annual gala.
you wear this burgundy dress off some runway that he makes note of, and heâs in his well-pressed, well-tailored suit. you came here to declare a truce, but instead you let house press your buttons, somehow finding yourself ending the argument against his chest.
houseâs hand snakes its way to the nook of your back. then, his lips were latched onto yours. he's kissing you.
gregory house is kissing you.
your tense body melts into his touch, reciprocating the kiss despite your initial surprise. you loop an arm around his neck, pushing him closer to you, causing the two of you to wobble, but he steadies your weight and deepens the kiss.
itâs sweet, passionate, and almost desparate, as if this was years of yearning. but youâre not so illusioned that you mistake this as something other than all your anger and hostility towards each other finally being squeeze out by the force of your locked lipsâinto this kiss.
itâs a kiss the two of you unknowingly wanted, hidden underneath the veneer of your harsh and clashing words. youâre not afraid to argue with house, equally venomous with your tongue during your time as a defence lawyer. and house is the same, sharpened tongue to prove his correctness in principle.
but you two fear that youâve exposed yourselves to the possibility of tragedy. maybe it's because you two have been really eyeing each other all along, testing how you could handle each other. never once have you failed, nor has house. that scared you shitless, but the momentâs well worth it. house makes good work with his lips, and you float in some sort of heaven, feeling the frustration finally rupture. and he feels the same.
slowly, you both pull away from each other, breathless and flushed. you donât pull away immediately, staying interlocked in his grasp. your eyes are both down cast, not quite refusing to look at the other, but rather frozen and unsure where to look. despite it, houseâs eyes radiate blue.
itâs too intimate for you and house, and yet you keep still. heâs kept to himself all these years, only to have you cut into his bubble between the hookers he distracts himself with. he thinks thatâs where his resentment of you stems from, but itâs never really been quite hatred, he realizes. youâre the same, lonelier than you would like to admit. no one, so it seemed, could tug on your heartstrings except this man you found nothing but annoyance for.
house is perplexed. his mouth is agape, nothing quite registering to allow his neurons to fire and form words. something of his old self manifests, and a warm feeling feathers his heart. a touch like this was no stranger to that ghost, but all the other flirtations he makes falls in comparison. thereâs only you and him
his sense are faint yet heightened, just from his proximity to you. biologically speaking, heâs doing really well, and he can hear his pulse pounding, and feel yours mirror his. heâs forgotten what this feels like, but sure it was this, and that makes his heart race faster. itâs almost dizzying.
house continues to direct his eyes on your curled hair, unsure of how to look at you. he considers leaving without another word, but he feels stuck to you.
you mirror house, too dazed to do anything. an overwhelming euphoria shoots through you, the sort of nervous excitement that makes you feel like a teenager. youâre younger than house, and you bite your cheek like you were 17 with your crush. youâre all too aware of your inexperience now, unsure with your wild heart. nevertheless, you muster the courage to finally break your trance. so you push on his chest lightly, finally meeting his eyes.
you blink. heâs tall.
the realization makes you swallow nervously. you open your mouth, but like house, nothing quite comes out. your hand still rests on his chest, feeling the rhythm of his pulsing heart. you try again, this time with house. both of your lips fall open, tongue failing again. but his eyes are enough. all you want to do is kiss him, so you lean in and kiss him again.
luckily for you, house always wants to kiss you.
