MOTHER SERIES TUMBLR EVENT?! ASK-A-PALOOZA INTEREST CHECK

Hello mother series enjoyers!!! Or, more specifically…. hello askblog enjoyers!!!! this event is for you!!

So, here's some background from me: I've wanted to make an askblog for a little while, but the idea of dedicating myself to a single concept/au/whatever is a little daunting (plus I would worry about how long I could keep it going for, etc etc)

Then, after seeing [this post] (hi zhari hi nana!!), my eyes were opened to the idea of temporary askblogs. And I thought wow, that sounds fun and much less daunting :D

SO THEN I thought: why not make a whole event about it? Where a bunch of people turn their blogs into mother series askblogs for a little while!! (You wouldn't have to actually change your whole blog theme of course, just have your askbox open and give some indication to askers that you're participating!!) You could also interact/rp with other askblogs/people participating and it'd be a grand ol' time overall!!

Would anyone be interested in an event like this?

If the results of this poll look promising, I'll make another poll for what week(s?) it should be!! Also, if you have any questions before you vote, don't be afraid to ask in the comments or dms!! I want everyone to feel welcome to participate :]

When my sister @vickyt-mv / @sotiredmostnights made her design, I was EAGER. EAGER. To figure out how I'd draw her! And parse out the dynamic between her and Moe!!

Something really fun was getting them to look like siblings, when they look quite different! It's all in the face, I think! And... adding a little something, a personal touch... VickyT's halo cowlick ties into Moe's horns!

I also. Attempted Heel Math. The dreaded heel math.

But to be so real I may just go off of vibes. Just know that there are supposedly canon heights, here. These doodles are also to compare their outfits! Esp in how they match... Because. Well.

Assignments Update!

Hey Doodlers! Exciting news- we're nearly finished with assignments!

After a lot of hard work on our end and patience from you, we're finally nearing the end of assignments. Which is so exciting!! We'll 100% be finished by the end of the day today, and will be sending them out tomorrow, January 5th, since it's getting pretty late for us and we want to be alert to make sure sending goes smoothly.

Thank you all for your kindness in dealing with the delays, we deeply appreciate it. We'll post when assignments start sending, and then post again when they're all sent out. We hope you're all as stoked as we are- go Doodlers!

#not snz #okay so first of all i had thought i was gonna be trapped at the station again bc i got released but didn't trust myself to drive #so all of us who were staying overnight decided to make hotdogs but they were fucking arguing about how we were gonna heat them up??#like three of us were just sitting there starving in the cold while everyone else was fighting lmao #so i was like 😩 and called him while we were waiting for them to just pick a heating option #at which point several people had me put him on speaker to say hey and invite him to eat fucking hotdogs with us #i think it's been too long since most of us have had any outside interaction ahdkaksk #so he agreed to come and brought his roommates???? like just for funsies??????? idk i guess they really wanted some cheap ass hotdogs #and i hadn't seen him in over two weeks so i was vibrating lmao #okay and he's kind of a grumpy bitch lowkey but he doesn't shy away from like casually putting an arm around me or holding my hand so 🥺#so i hugged him when i saw him but then he went to hold my hand and was like 😨 bc they were ✨️ cold af ✨️#so he promptly grabbed my other hand and then just looked at them for a sec and asked if i was alright lmao #not an uncommon occurrence unfortunately lmao everybody grabs my hands when they start looking weird ahdmkaks we love raynaud's #but it still makes me soft when he expresses concern so 🥰#anyway so we all ate and just generally vibed for a while before people started head off to sleep #so his roommates took the car back and he drove my car so i could leave instead of having to stay overnight again lmao #and the hot water heater at the station ain't shit so the relief i felt taking a hot shower was immense lmao #especially after nearly freezing to desth in the rain ahdkkaks #anyway so then we just cuddled and watched shows on his laptop 🥰#and then obviously we slept bc it was fucking late as shit and i was ✨️ tired ✨️#but I'm a light sleeper so i woke up when he started moving around and setting up his laptop #and he gave me this little smile and ruffled my hair a little and told me to go back to sleep #fucking domestic as shit 😩🥺#also i feel like maybe i should share more things that have happened between us prior to dating #bc i swear nothing is progressing as quick as i feel my posts make it sound ahdkakdk #like I've known this man for over two years so we were coworkers and friends before anything else so we already had our little dynamic going #idk i just feel weird knowing that none of y'all know our lore ahdkakdk #anyway it was nice just getting to spend time with him again 🥰#and I'm taking him out friday bc i owe him a fun little date or several lmao so i think I'm done screaming now #partner posting

#haunted ecosystem #this is not helping with how much my hands hurt on a daily basis this is why i type and dont handwrite/draw very much.#im lured in regardless and i really need to find an artform that doesnt Hurt but for now. digital art <3 #like theres a difference between my dumb doodles (quick easy not much different from regular computer usage) and actual art #but im an artist at heart i spent sooooo long being an artist and thinking i was shit at writing. that is wrong! im actually kinda good #im rambling in tags today because i have been not social (my partner is in genshin hell and my beloved is. somewhere.)#okay but on another note i reread the first. couple chapters of wtds this morning? the pacing is a little weird and the tense is fucked #but its actually a lot better than i thought it was? you can tell i was fleshing everybody out in my head and i totally forgot about how #i described the watcher [who i am STILL redacting the name of until we get there] and just. ough. pandora being very logical #and then jumping to the latest chapter and fucking sobbing because i forgot about how it went and just. pandora and his.#whatever the fuck is wrong with him.#i have gotta start recommending people read that again. its surprisingly friendly without context because of how i approached it #that fic has taught me so many things its actually a little comical. it also made me relearn how to make and write ocs so thats fun #once i finish that main fic (and i WILL i am actually planning to sign up for a thing. im finishing it i swear.) i finally get to show off #more of the world and characters ive crafted. showing backstories and what-ifs and all these oneshots ive been keeping close to my chest #for like absolutely ages because i dont want any spoilers on my tumblr #and. im finishing that fic in pseudo-memoriam of somebody who deleted their accounts everywhere. still miss you dane!#ok this has completely gone off topic ily tumblr im going back to drawing and i might make a new pfp #it'll still be lavius but it'll be fray lavius since i think about him a lot and i like his color palette.

Another that's been a bit backburnered - but I will!!!#I do still really want to it's turned out pretty good for far :) But while I was shopping!!#We did the usual small talk thing with the store employee like ''Oh what are you buying this for'' that whole back-and-forth #So I explained that I was making plushies and needed the tear-away stabilizer to draw the embroidery outline on #In my head I was being very tempered because while /I/ know that I'm making a Max plushie not many people are familiar with him (wrongly so)#Lol #So we continued and he was like ''Oh cool I've made some patches with embroidery :)'' so I asked of what and he lead with CotL's crown #And then-#Look Zarla's work was Already on my mind with Max as my project I was in a Delicate Way already do you really expect me not to talk about it #The answer was no and he walked away with a Vargas recommendation in his pocket I hope he enjoyed it lol #And I got my fabric and started work on Max's face it's fine it all worked out in the end it's all good it's great lol #I Was encouraged to come back with my finished project so that's on my to-do once I get him in a presentable state haha

Hello again! Hmm let’s see, to be more specific…Where’s ceil from? Does she have a specific origin or culture she’s based on?

ok ok so,, she is Limsan! Both of her parents were pirates for a long, long time before they eventually settled in Sharlayan. (mom is from the Sanguine Sirens while dad is from the Bloody Executioners, they kind of had an enemies to lovers relationship- some time after mom was pregnant with cielle, they left and joined a smaller pirate crew together.) She was born at the sea, spent most of her years traveling with the crew until she decided to see the lands more. She spent some years in the ROG guild before she departed to Ul'dah, (i like to think that this is where the opening cutscene comes in) THEN she was adopted by catdad X'rhun Tia. Turned out she was better as RDM since she used rapiers/swords as a child most of the time. Then a crystal just started speaking to her and bam! wol
