I read His Dark Materials when I was 13. Northern Lights was (and is still) my favorite because I loved the adventure and how scrappy and rebellious Lyra was. And if I hadn't already been hooked, the ending of the first book would have made it impossible not to continue reading.

I was a little thrown when the second book focused on a new character almost as much as Lyra, but it didn't take long to come to love Will as well. At the time, although I enjoyed the book, I'd say I didn't really appreciate how important their partnership was, because I liked Lyra so much and could easily have just read book after book about Lyra and Pan on their own. (It might have been different if Lyra didn't have Pan, though, which makes Will a requirement one way or another.)

Then, with Amber Spyglass, I enjoyed the high stakes so high, the various subplots interconnecting, and the pretty abstract imagery and themes. I wouldn't say that at 13 I "got" all of it, but I loved it.

What I didn't love was Will and Lyra falling in love - weirdly, I mean, you'd think a 13-year-old would rather fangirl over with that than elephant-like creatures on wheels... (years later I still adore mulefa)

I didn't like them falling in love because I felt betrayed by Lyra. She'd been my favorite little pest and hero to put all the James Bonds and Indiana Joneses of the world to shame. I thought she could do anything. And when she fell in love, she discovered sentiment, but more than that, she started to show vulnerability and reliance on someone other than herself. I hated her becoming a romantic heroine, needing reassurance from Will, and I hated thinking of Will as "The End" of Lyra Silvertongue's story. After all, a girl falls in love, she ceases to be a girl. Now she's a woman and the days of running on rooftops and getting mistaken for a boy are over.

I tried to reread the whole series some years ago when I was home for the holidays, but I didn't make it to the third book before I had to leave, and since then there's always been something else to think about, so. It would be interesting to see what I think of how Will and Lyra's romance was handled as an adult. Some of what I disliked as a child could be because of the way it was written. But a lot of it, I suspect, was simply because at that age I hadn't learned what love was. (Not to be the kid from The Princess Bride, but yeah, kisses were "gross!") As kids we take parental love for granted - it's not even a bad thing, it's part of learning independence and developing an individual sense of self. But, after that, we have to relearn dependence. Relearn the value of compromise and commitment and understanding.

I was afraid of Lyra/Will because I didn't want any kissing. But what Lyra/Will has was everything Lyra needed (and Will too) - and now, as an adult, I feel so grateful that Lyra didn't have to shoulder everything alone. Didn't have to become hardened and jaded like so many of those Tough Guy Heroes. I'm glad she found someone who she could let herself be weak and vulnerable around, because he didn't respect her any less for it.

And even though my childhood self would have preferred Lyra and Will to stay friends rather than lovers, I was still torn to pieces by what happened to them in the end. It certainly wasn't my first time reading a story with a not necessarily sad, but less than upbeat ending. But it shook me up. I wasn't prepared for that level of loss. It wasn't a sudden, shocking tragedy. It was something they had to do knowing what it meant. And to me, even though it was so sad, it didn't feel tragic. I hated hearing, as a kid, that the people I loved so much in my teens probably wouldn't still be around in my twenties and thirties. Like a lot of kids, my relationships were absolutely everything to me. I got to travel overseas for the first time around the same age that I read His Dark Materials, and even though I'd always wanted to travel and enjoyed the trip, I spent a lot of it just incredibly sad because I missed my best friend so much and my family couldn't understand it at all. So even though I was reluctant about Lyra/Will, I couldn't help loving the way they loved each other. And it was comforting to me that though they had to be apart, though they would make new friends and potentially fall in love with someone else, they were each still the other's source of strength.

Now, as an adult, "Will and Lyra" has become nearly as important to me as "Lyra" alone. I love my self-reliant, implacable gremlin girl - and I also love her when she's tired and sad and missing the familial love she never knew, and Will's right there just as tired and sad and lonely, and they push through not just together but because they choose to be. I'm such a sucker for characters who are used to being alone (and who are good at it) finding out how much more there is to learn about themselves through relying on someone else.

It's not too much to ask for someone who will dethrone God with me, is it? Haha.

Orlando Bloom my beloved) River's story was a stroke of absolute GENIUS from start to finish and i simply love how Alex Kingston played her...

9. Satoru Gojo (Jujutsu Kaisen)

look... theres *gojo girlies* uwu and then theres GOJO GIRLIES... i couldn't give 2 shits about how he's fan-serviced (tho im not complaining) but have you SEEN the amount of grief pumped into that man? he could explode in a fit of fucking insanity at literally any moment and take the whole goddamn world down with him bc what happened with suguru WASNT FAIR to him and satoru has more than enough power to go apeshit... but he DOESN'T... even after losing so many of his co-sorcerers... he still puts on a brave face to the end in order to protect the childhood of his students even tho his own youth was stolen from him during hidden inventory...

10. Levi Ackerman (Attack on Titan)

i read the manga during my last year of uni and when i tell you i SOBBED at the end... yes ofc for obvious reasons, but mostly bc my little Levi loses EVERYTHING. He is the SOLE survivor of the veteran scouts. He's missing multiple fingers, an eye, and the ability to walk. He was the strongest (yowaimo) but wasn't even granted the mercy to die at the end of his narrative! Broke my fucking heart.

OKAY I GOT DISTRACTED FOR A BIT BY GETTING IN THE ZONE BUT AITSF UDPATE:

1: finished the komeji and shoma ending! i! okay ill be honestly i wasn't super thrilled. I REALLY like the set up stuff in terms of simulation reality, and beleiving its all fake bcs you can't cope, im MASSIVELY INTO THAT. But. I don't. like. Komeji I'm so sorry his just. he's so cube. and he annoys me. I feel like a usually have a pretty high tolerance for this kinda stuff but I just. On paper i get it but in practice I really dont like him. was very happy to see date n co tho. i think it's RIDICULOUSSSS how they explain date's interest in porn like that did not need to be explained. however. its such a stupid explanation it kinda loops back around to being funny to me. sure. why not.

2: ollowing finishing that route i tried to get back to Tokiko to see if i could use that elevator code, bcs she'd been mentioning frayers and i thought i knew what that was but i did not. but no thats only 6 digits so still not right f=/. dang. i also tried to get onto mizuki's half i miss my baby, but i found i needed two names. i know Dahlia is one, but the other is 4 letters so. Currently its probably either for Mame, Lien, or Naix. I suspect Naix the most as an answer.

3: started onto the other route from komeji's somnium. I maintain that these are too easy. It's not like they're like. the problem is that I feel like i'm being treated like I'm an idiot. ryuki and tama talk everything out in such detail, and theres often not a lot of stuff to interact with at all, a lot of which doesn't even let you make the choices like from the last game. like, proper timie usage was SO important to me last game and in this one I've never even racked up 3. i also feel like there's less dream logic, and it's a little disappointing. like, oh tape the cardboard back together. turn on the tv. =( the whimsy. it did improve some in the back half though, and i'll take it!!!

4: liking this dead komeji route WAY MORE than the other one. its not that i hate him that much but i do like the way the plots moving here. what does mame know? whats the masked womans deal? has anyone seen shoma. WHAT IS WRONGGGG WITH RYUKI <33. what is wrong with ryuki is by far my favourite mystery. im more interested in that than i am in the half body killings honestly. (part of that is teh victims i think. we dont really know jin, chikara was annoying at best but the more i learn about him the more i hate him, komeji was annoying, so. honestly i havent really been that upset about any of them dying. tokiko i did love and i am sad she's gone, but also these murders are a little bland following the first game. i just watched a guys head explode could there at least be a little blood? just a little? i know its probably for plot reasons but ive never missed gore so bad. im not even that into gore.

5: somewhere on the dead komeji route i finally figured out what that little green thing in the menu was so i've activated my tamagotchi thingy!! very fun i love it. mines an iris-y one or something? its cuteee!!

6: in terms of the wider mystery: im just really curious how far they're gonna commit to being meta.they did start with asking ME what i knew about the last game so.... looking forward to ryuki's whole deal, actually getting to play as my darling mizuki again, finding out what is UPP with date. i really like the weird videos series i just think they're neat. if the endgame doesn't have a somnium based on those thigns i will be disappointed, surely thats what we're building to.

i left off right before starting mame's somniumin the gameshow room. i don't think shes' actually involved in the killings, but doing that would be REALLY NEAT as a sequel thing, imo. i'd like it. i think shes just hiding stuff bcs she was threatened. assumably i've still got a good chunk of the game to paly! i havent done much if any of the extra eyeballs either, just whats on the way so. i'll get those guys. have been picking up some costumes n stuff tho. you can put tama <33 in pants <3333333333.

I don’t know if you play horror video games, watch horror movies/shows, or read horror books, but if you do, I have to ask: What is the most disturbing book, or video game or show/movie that you’ve played/watched/read? In my opinion, there is two types of horror: the ones that scare you, and the ones that traumatize you. If you can think of any book, movie, or game that really kind of fucked you up, I’m curious to know if you feel like answering. I hope you have a good day and a good life.

Woof, this is honestly a pretty hard question, since I can't really name any horror (or otherwise) media that actually left me kind of fucked up for a bit, at least not to the degree where it affected me for a while. I probably haven't been really fucked up by anything since I was a kid, so I'll try and recall what a few things fucked me up back then...

Off the top of my head I know that two different spongebob episodes got me bad, the first being one with that tunnel of love thing (tho tbh i havent seen it in a while so it might still spook me today) and the one where i'm pretty sure for whatever reason squidward gets locked in some small locker and has some kind of fucked up dream, whatever that was. I remember there was an eagle in that one. the eagle terrified me. (i looked them up, and the first episode is titled 'tunnel of glove' and the second is 'squidward in clarinetland'. with how badly that second one got to me, i'm surprised i ended up learning to play the clarinet at all)

other than that, i think the courage the cowardly dog episode 'the house of discontent' got me pretty bad, too, but i think everyone who saw any amount of that series as a kid has at least one episode that got them fucked up.

there's probably a handful of scooby-doo stuff that got to me when i was a kid, but i could not name any specifics (asides from charlie the robot's original episode, christ) because i think i managed to see just about every bit of available scooby media around that time.

nowadays stuff still does kinda fuck me up, but it's usually only for brief bits of time. the most recent example I can think of is cowboy bebop's 20's episode, pierrot le fou, which is honestly some great horror, especially how it uses the show's typical format and flips it on it's head, but i wouldn't necessarily say it got to me because of it being scary, more because of the way the ending disturbed me for a bit. it was the only episode that had me stop afterwards and really look into it for anything other than clarifying a character's gender, lol.

the endings of both neon genesis evangelion and end of evangelion had me shaken, the latter more so than the former, but not really due to horror aspects, though. i did have to take a walk after finishing end of evangelion. i don't really watch horror movies, i just... read the wikipedia plot descriptions of them.

honestly, i think some of the more popular youtube analogue horror series have gotten to me worse (likely due to the fact that they can get a bit more fucked up than, say, a tv show or movie), specifically the walten files (which i did watch) and the mandela catalogue (which i just watched wendigoon's vids on), and those two and mostly because facial distortion is generally just an incredibly effective form of horror imo. a lot of the time (esp with the childhood examples) the way i was 'fucked up' was that id be in be visualizing the stuff that scared me, and both the mandela catalogue and the walten files had me doing that for a bit.

now that i remember it, i was really scared of fnaf when it first came out. i first learned of it second-hand from seeing some other kids looking into it, and the bits and pieces i put together about it really scared me.

honestly, it's usually straight-up disturbing sequences or imagery that gets to me the most, and i know my limits well enough to generally identify and avoid that stuff, which is probably why i don't have too many recent examples. i've got one or two examples of non-horror movies that fucked me up as a kid, but that's mostly because they were wildly inappropriate for someone of my age (at the time) to be witnessing, so that's a different sort of topic.

i mean, i think i generally have a decent tolerance for fucked up stuff in media, anyways, i mean, i enjoy berserk and haven't really been too upset or disturbed by what happens in it (look theres some nasty shit in there im not saying its not that bad) so there's definitionally some kind of line that media needs to cross to really get to me nowadays, or it just needs to be a specific kind of fucked up. books generally don't do that for me so i don't have any book examples. no games, either, though shadow mario and the haunted house segments in super mario 3d world scared me so much that i had to make my mom do the levels for me, and i'm pretty sure scooby doo: first frights scared me a bit when i first played it on ds.

other than that, though, I just think that, in pokemon x, the story that an npc tells you during your first trip to route 14 and then the strange office building encounter with the animation-less hex maniac creeped me out pretty bad.

yeah, it's kind of hard for me to think of anything (recent) that actually really fucked me up or anything. most stuff just scared me, never really fucked me up or figuratively traumatized me in recent years.

it's so hard to pick one 😭

The one i like to binge/rewatch the most is Rise because it's paced in a way i find more palatable to my energy if it makes sense. I absolutely love the liberties they took, like the ninpo, the fact that they are all different turtles, Splinter's backstory, etc. They all have a very distinct personality and it is great

i'm not as much of a fan of the 1987. i still find it funny and fun to watch but there's nothing (so far) that brings me back to it. like i don't get that "i need to continue" feeling i get with the others. But honestly that might just be the early seasons lol. In all honesty i have not finished the show but i did heard someone qualify it as a "10 seasons long toy commercial" and honestly that's basically all of the animated tv shows that came out in the 80-90s lol (p.s. Raph is my favourite in this show, he's just so relatable and adorable and funny lmao) Fun fact, in french (i'm canadian) this serie was name "Tortues Ninja: Les chevaliers d'écaille" which translates to "Ninja turtles: Scale Knights"

I finished 2012 recently (i had occasionally watch parts of it on TV back then, but i was in college so sticking to a TV schedule was impossible lol). It took a moment to get fully hooked to it. Like i binged it, of course, but i started to get seriously intrigued more at S2-3. I absolutely love all of them, they are so imperfect and slightly hotheaded and dumb (/affectionate) but they love each other so much

And i'm currently watching 2003. This one, i had seen the most of in my childhood (i was literally the age demographic when it came out). Being extremely action-focus (imo) i often need a break from watching it lmao but it's a great show and i absolutely love how the 4 of them act together. absolute siblings (even tho they seem to me to be elder-teens rather than just 15, then again, teenagers then and teenagers now are def not the same, so that's fair ig lol)

i don't want to get into the movies as well as i believe the plot and character development in movies do not have the same potential as a tv show, + some of them are directly linked to a tv show (like Rise) and i havent watch them all. Though i did love the Bayverse ones, surprisingly. Especially the first one. and Mutant Mayhem was so great as well

Blood Moon

Part One of the Blood Moon series

Blood Moon summary: Lena (pronounced as Le-na, not Leena) is a renounced witch, a grisha feared. Aleksander goes by many names, not many of which ring true. The pair is similar in more ways than one, but also as different as can be. One seeks power, another fears what the hunger might cost them both, however there is something about the darkness that invited them both. They meet in the middle, where the world collides. 

Important info: this takes place before the shadow and bone/six of crows, before there even is a shadow fold, and there isnt that much information about grishaverse in those times (note i havent looked much outside what books provide) i am taking a lot of creative freedom with it!

Lena wasn‘t sure how she ended up here, but she knew better than to ask questions. Aleksander, as she knew him, was a kind man. To her. Or maybe she was just one more foolish girl to him, whichever it was, he had accepted her for who she was.

A blood witch, many called her. All across Ravka and even beyond. They both had extraordinary talents, but for whatever reason, Aleksander was more accepted than her. Or, as accepted as grisha could be in these times. However, Lena remembered making the King himself kneel before her, then downing his entire army to do the same.

The power she felt, the name she earned. She used to wear lifeless colours, blending in, but she wore deepest of reds now, which seemed to be more fitting. It matched Aleksanders black attire quite nicely.

She counted herself lucky to even know him by that name, as he would never use it nowadays. He was known as something else, a shadow just passing through.

Aleksander was looking at the girl now, remembering his own mother, who once pretended to go by that name too – just like Lena did now. To him, she was Telyna, but for many reasons she didn’t like sharing, she despised that name.

Telyna was who she was before she became worthy of being a blood witch, it was a time of drowning and fear and pain. She broke through, but it cost her greatly, sometimes she wondered if it cost her humanity herself.

Aleksander liked that about her, as she stood there, glowing and graceful, radiating the power she had within. He saw the army kneel against their will. The world could be theirs, as they knew it.

But he needed to get stronger, to be worthy to stand next to her.

Lena looked at the man as shadows danced around them and he caught her gaze, smirking. The shadow extended, and she couldn’t see the light anymore.

“Impressive.” She said lazily, rubbing her hands on her cloak.

“Not enough to take down an entire army.” He said, letting the shadows drop – sunlight returned making Lena cover her eyes.

“No, I’m afraid not.” She agreed as he came to her, placing his hand on her shoulder. She felt the surge of power rush through her, as a reminder that he is an amplifier. Her mind for a second thought about what she could be is she bore his bones permanently, but she chased the thought away.

“Together we could-“

“Have the Ravka, Shu Han, Fjerda. Our reach might take Ketterdam and the whole world.” She finished as Aleksander just grinned.

She glanced at him and he involuntarily stepped back. His face grew tense but there was playfulness behind his eyes.

“I thought we agreed you wouldn’t do that.” She let him go, dropping herself to the grass and staring at the surrounding area. They were in an opening in a forest north of Ravka, close to the border.

“I thought we agreed not to discuss your plans to take over the world, Aleksander.” He pressed his lips tightly. This was a discussion neither of them really enjoyed.

“You almost took down the king.” Lena shot him a glance, sending him to his knees. He grunted but remained silent.

“It was for his treatment of grisha. Now he may never forget that if we wished to, we could destroy him and all he stands for.” Her voice trembled in anger. “That was his final warning.”

“Until he hurts another grisha.” Lena looked at Aleksander, who was still on his knees, staring at her. Shadows seeped out of him, seemingly not out of his will. She looked away.

“Then I will have him bring me his own head.” She said through her teeth. The woman couldn’t see Aleksander grin, as if he was twisting up a plan.

She only heard grass move and they were surrounded by darkness again. Even in it, she could see Aleksanders face change, as his shoulder relaxed, his skin began to glow. He looked better the further the darkness reached, and Lena wondered, what was happening to his soul in these moments.

Was he letting the darkness out, hence the glow, or was he letting it in, nest inside of him tainting all there is, eating him from inside out.

Lena has met Baghra once, even if she has been acquainted with Aleksander for some years now. The woman looked at her son with so much love, the girl felt herself grow jealous, even if just a little. But there was something behind her eyes there too, and only weeks later Lena had realized it was fear.

At first, she thought that it was for him, but perhaps it was for the world. Aleksander seemed to grow more and more power hungry every day he spent traveling across Ravka with her. They had no goals. After their visit to the royal court, they were both, hunted and feared.

But neither of those things really gave them power. And Aleksander wanted power.

Lena was scared to let him too close. To drink up his darkness, out of fear for becoming more like him, for wanting the world. She hated herself for what she did at court, yet she felt ecstatic about it too – using her power to it’s full potential. The fear in their faces.

She couldn’t see her cloak anymore, but the dark red was getting in her skin like permanent ink. She was owning the blood witch status. She loved being a scary story kids, to otkazat’sya. She was legend, she was seen and feared.

She hated how it made her feel. But she loved it too. She understood Aleksander better than anyone.

The sun reached her again as the man looked at her, gracing her with a full-toothed smile.

“That was better.” For a moment, he looked like a child. They never discussed their true age, but in the many lifetimes they are yet to have, perhaps they were just kids now. Two small children playing with fire they might not be able to contain.

“It was.” She said, against her better judgement.

There was a steam nearby. She felt the water as she was a Tidemaker, a name that seemed to stick to those of Small Magic who learnt how to manipulate water. She couldn’t see it behind the trees, but her lips twitched as the tried to hold back a grin.

She lifted her arm, twisting it a little, and then flicking it. Water rushed from its source, soaking Aleksander who seemed to be struck by it unexpectedly. He was staring at her in disbelief as she allowed the water to fully drop, her laugh echoing across the forest.

“You should see your face.” She was bent over with laughter, but she still could see Aleksander biting back a smile too, until he burst out laughing. Lena knew he must be freezing though, so she did her best to get water off of him and his clothes once they had finished laughing.

They set camp then, sitting close by the fire. There was a comfortable silence between then as it seemed they have had all of the conversations through the years. Lena still felt herself yearn to hear him speak, tell a story of his earlier life, but he didn’t have many happy ones.

Nor did she.

“Do you think there is more people like us?” She asked, curiously, watching the embers in the fire.

“There aren’t anybody else like us.” Aleksander was looking at the girl, so she met his dark eyes. “And there never will be.”

“What makes you say that?” Lena asked as Aleksander smirked, closing his eyes and leaning in. Her heart skipped a beat as the girl shut her own eyes, but the man simply landed his forehead on hers.

“You and me, we are going to change the world.”

I bought the first episodes on DVD at a local flea market when I was 7. I still remember that day vividly haha

I got so many nostalgic memories connected with Naruto. Like watching the show on my grandma’s old tube TV after school when I was 10.( i hope tube tv is a word?)

Or dancing and screaming along to the shippuuden openings when I was 13...

I finished highschool in march 2017, and I remember that I didnt cry through the whole graduation. everyone was so emotional like ‘aww this is the end of an era!!’ and like, I didnt get it. no emotions. crickets.

But then I watched the very last episode of shipuuden that very same week, and I just cried so hard. like thats when the whole ‘my childhood is officially over’ thing hit me, you know? with the official end of naruto lmao

And now in like 2020/2021 I got back into it because I really need that comfort, I guess? I bought the mangas cause i havent actually read the manga before. I tried rewatching the series but i really cant haha, i get way too emotional sjjsj i cant even look at it lol

Lately Ive been watching What We Do In The Shadows, which is a comedic mockumentary vampire series based on the movie and made by the same directors. Season 2 started this month.

I really loved the nbc Constantine show. but it only got 1 season. rip. To satisfy my Matt Ryan as Constantine fix, I picked up Legends of Tomorrow’s later seasons - but be warned they really watered the character down, and its soooo silly. Like, its not good but they actually showed him as queer and I still enjoy it so woops.

Hannibal is on my queue to finish, as is Killing Eve - but those are very very good, and very intense.

Netflix Marvel series are actually the only reliably good things about MCU lmao. Daredevil and Punisher are my all times faves (like, Jon Bernthal gives so life and emotion into Frank Castle, its incredible) (and I am a slut for Matt Murdock).

If you would enjoy a Mexican take on supernatural stories (and dont mind reading subtitles if u dont speak spanish), I highly recommend Diablero on netflix. Season 2 apparently came out this year, and Im ashamed I havent watched it yet.

Thats all I can think of right now, tho theres also cartoons like Steven Universe, Gravity Falls, Over the Garden Wall, and She Ra. And like... a list of anime. but this is long enough lol.

Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover - whew holy shit this book was a doozy for me. one, she's like only the 2nd fem author i've read (i'm not much of a reader if i'm being honest, dont have the patience for it), it is such an emotional love story with great characters and it had me saying i love you to the loved ones in my life after reading it (but that may or may not have to do with the fact that i just have a lotta repressed emotions that this book, and sleep deprivation from binging it, managed to wring out of me haha). it's also pretty funny n quirky n cool n haha it's the first time i read a sex scene that wasn't on fanfic haha

A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket (aka Daniel Handler irl) - i. love. these. books. they are so freaking smart and funny and amusing and lemony snicket's voice is just so effing good. i havent read all of them tho. an unfortunate mistake that i still feel guiltyabout to this day haha lol

....at the same time though i do get very sensitive when faced w/ criticism even if its of the fair variety when its not phrased really gently for various reasons and i dont like that. especially since I have a tendency to not even talk to people about it. I’ll just immediately start distancing myself. also other than that i think overall I have a really high tolerance lvl but if you cross that line I hold a grudge like a motherfucker

cats! dogs are good too but cats are a lot easier for me to handle...and quieter generally but even when they’re loud cat sounds dont get to me quite as much as barks do

i cant stand passive aggressive behavior. my stance is either get over it or quit acting like a bitch because otherwise im just going to ignore you thats the scorpio way (in all seriousness I really, really do recommend not putting up with it and ignoring it until they decide to be up front with you. it can be exhausting constantly reading into conversations and its not healthy for you or them. if they have something to say they need to learn to talk about it properly, and that lack of social skills is not ever on you)

yep! i think about....six or so? i love them...which is really funny im autistic and EVERYTHING about them should freak me out and they do in other circumstances but at a show i just live for it

probably that you have to look at your accomplishments differently when you’re disabled or just struggling, to not be so down on yourself because its a fact that what might be a mole hill to someone else is a mountain to you and you have to judge yourself accordingly. Like maybe you weren’t able to clean the whole house, but washing the dishes and tidying your desk doesn’t usually get done but you did it. That that should be celebrated because while it would also feel good if you did more, you still did something and thats great all things considered.

sometimes, really depends what im lying about and if im like....into it at all. If my guts against it for whatever reason I’ll have trouble

hmmhmhmh. it really depends on my mood i think. its weird one to answer cuz........i kinda dont do either one that much anymore... most days i put on a vod of some vtuber or streamer i like while i fuck around on tumblr/discord. n-not the best way to use my time...

For a few years now ive had a really really hard time watching anime or playing video games. and i really hate it cuz theres lots of shows and games i love dearly but cant find the motivation to play. i also love reading too tho, id say i read way less than watching things but i still like to read. for a few years now ive been chipping away at the Spice & Wolf novels (only on like book 7 or 8 i think?). i go months without ever reading then ill pick it up again and read for a few weeks.

I dont care for many tv shows tbh. i watched some of the witcher, i liked it a good bit actually. uhhhmm. mostly i like anime cuz there tends to be more stories that actually END. i like a solid 12-24 ep story vs. an 8 season series with 45 minute episodes. its why i generally dont like long-running shonens either. i havent watched new animes really, cuz its hard to watch shows but id like to finish jahy, pretty boys detective club, and a few others. not to mention shows i wanna rewatch (ive been really missing kemurikusa)

I really want to get over whatever the heck issue i have with sitting down and enjoying a good show/game/book. my friend recently started giving me pressure to do something abt it and i really appreciate that so, hopefully i actually do look into it and make progess on it

It’s been a while

Hello again it’s been a hot second sice I last spoke to you and a lot of thing happend. I wanted to write again for so many times but i never found the time, I watched soooo many things I wanted to review and I also read some interesting books but because I didn’t reviw them right after I finished them and even tho i took notes the detiles got lost and I don’t want to ruin the magic, i wnat to name some of my favorites tho:

So I read “The Sun is also a Star” and God I loved it so much it hit me so hard and it made me cry so much. I never new what my non fictional favourte book was before but I think this is it it was so beautiful I loved it so so much and I onehundered procent reconemd it. I still havent watched the movie  but it is on my list and i am very exited to watch it.

Speaking of books that made me cry I read “Gosts of the Shadow Market” or as I like to call it the Jem book,  I was crying hystericly while reading this it was so painfull cause you know my weekness for Jem Carstairs and how much I love him, he is my baby forever and always, and that I cry for him every time, whell this book seeing him suffering over the years ah God esecialy in the beginning.... but I enjoyed it and I took notes for every story but again it’s been two months since I read it and I don’t want to ruin thins even tho I would have loved to write my thouths on all the detiles but I guess I missed the moment but hey I will still have everthing in my heart. One thing tho in one of the storyes we met Matthew Fairchild and even tho I knew him from the Shadowhunter Academy story now he realy got to me or at list his story did got I always lve me a broken boy. I developed a crush on him and I want to see what happens to him and i want to know him better which lead us to well Chain of Gold, I know I have said that I won’t be albe to read it because of Jem and I know it’s going to be painfull but I think I would take it because know I am to curious and we are talking about Victorian London HELLO??? I am so in for that I can’t resist it I am week and I always love  a Cassandra Clare book. Ah and I also changed my mind on Kit I love him know I didn’t liked him in the dark artifices that much but now i don’t know he is funny and seening him living with Jem and Tessa and seeing him aroung baby Mina that madehim grow on me. I said I wouldn’t go into details but here I am huh? To sum it up I loved it even tho it was so painful and it made me want to read Chain of Gold and I am defently going to reviw that when I read it. ( Side note: I am still sure that I won’t read The Wicked Powers that I can not handel and I am pretty sure I won’t change my mind like I did with Chain of Gold)

In matters of TV shows I watched Anne with an E and it was the most amazing thing ever I love it with all my hearth and Mister Gilbert Blythe Jesus he is up there with Jem on my list and that means something. I cryed so much days even after I finished the series because I missed him. It is such a shame that there won’t be a season 4, I need it!!!! I cried so much in the end and I need more it was all so pure and beautiful and I loved all characters (well not all but you get what i meen) the friendship between Diana and Anne was soooo beautiful and I loved everything and all about this show and I recomend it to everyone. It defently marked me forever it is one of my favorite shows ever. And I can’t but into words how much I love Gilbert I have really fallen in love with him almost as much as I did with Jem. (Ah God I love this GIF so much I could watch it all day...)

Riverdale... well I won’t go into detiles with that I watched all episodes I went to so much panik because of “Jug’s death” and that all that Betty and Archie thing it was crazy. I am exactited to see what happens in season 5.

I also watched Money Heist and omg I loved it so much it is soooo good I won’t get into deteils here eather because there is not much to say except that it’s amazing! 

I almost forgot to mention the movie I was excited the most to see this year, “To all the boys I loved before P.S I still love you!”, I was so freaking exited for this movie cause I loved the books so much and the first movie was so good and I started crying when the trailer came out becaue I love those books and Peter so much!!! And I did enjoy it it was good it wasn’t as good as the first movie but still it was good and i loved it! I am excited to see what they did with the third moive!!! I can’t wait to see it!

Anyhow, I am happy to be back and I am defently going to write more now and review everithing I read and see because the summer vacation is finnaly here and I am defently going to have enough time to write. And besides I realised that I need this writing it is bothering me so much that I didn’t write anything about Ghosts of the Shadow Market and Anne with an E and The Sun is also a Star because I loved the so much and I would have wanted to reed my fresh and detiled thouths about them but thats a lesson for next time I guess.

What’s the first thing you notice about people?

Hmm something that sticks out. It always depends on the person really. Some people i dont notice anything. But like one friend, something i always noticed was her eyes (the prettiest ever) or her smile! Or my mum has got her big german nose which is hard to miss. I just realized that i love peoples noses cause they can be so different and unique i love it. One friends nose literally reminds of Sera's it's adorable

What’s your least favorite physical thing about yourself?

.... My eyebrows... Like they go from dark to light but it's so abrupt that it just looks like half is shaved off TT-TT so makeup it is and oh it does wonders. Oh and probably my hands... theyre so small, theyre like tiny sausages i hate it and my feet are super small.. like size 4.5 or 5 if im lucky

I hate scary movies. When i first watched Jaws when i was 13/14 i had nightmares for months. So comedy. There was a comedy/horror that i loved tho; Tucker and Dale: Forces of Evil or something like that.
