tbh ive been meaning to do this on my main blog bc I take these wayyy too seriously lol but ANYWAY heres my top 10 faves (in no particular order) that I can think of (tbh theres prob more i forgot about, or i wanted to keep only 1 per fandom... except tgcf)

1. Feng Xin (tgcf)

do i even need to explain this one? loyal to a fault, just a cute lil puppy, one hell of a sculpted archers back, and he's head over heels in love with Xie Lian (but tbh same) i have a lot of thoughts about him on a daily basis on this blog (and also theres the #fx backstory au tag)

2. Noé Archiviste (the Case Study of Vanitas)

the absolute bestest boy of EVER... with a LOAD of unprocessed trauma (yknow the typical stuff like seeing your childhood bff get decapitated in front of you) and a lot more to come once we find out how he kills his boyfriend best friend, Vanitas...

hated reading as a child... HATED it... picked up the og trilogy when i was 12 and i was a goner. The funny thing is i still hated reading for YEARS up until i picked up the prequel novel then in 2020, and now ive read all of tgcf, 2ha, and more fanfic than i could ever imagine... all because this stupid boy (i love him) chose to trust the WORST person as his friend, rip sejanus my baby

Orlando Bloom my beloved) River's story was a stroke of absolute GENIUS from start to finish and i simply love how Alex Kingston played her...

look... theres *gojo girlies* uwu and then theres GOJO GIRLIES... i couldn't give 2 shits about how he's fan-serviced (tho im not complaining) but have you SEEN the amount of grief pumped into that man? he could explode in a fit of fucking insanity at literally any moment and take the whole goddamn world down with him bc what happened with suguru WASNT FAIR to him and satoru has more than enough power to go apeshit... but he DOESN'T... even after losing so many of his co-sorcerers... he still puts on a brave face to the end in order to protect the childhood of his students even tho his own youth was stolen from him during hidden inventory...

10. Levi Ackerman (Attack on Titan)

i read the manga during my last year of uni and when i tell you i SOBBED at the end... yes ofc for obvious reasons, but mostly bc my little Levi loses EVERYTHING. He is the SOLE survivor of the veteran scouts. He's missing multiple fingers, an eye, and the ability to walk. He was the strongest (yowaimo) but wasn't even granted the mercy to die at the end of his narrative! Broke my fucking heart.

Zones Fashion

Obviously we all know how killjoys dress, but not everyone in the desert is a killjoy. So here's my headcanons about how non-killjoys in the desert dress. Below the cut because this is gonna get long:

These forms of dress are specific to smaller, more isolated groups where people are usually at least 1st gen zoneborn, and doesn't apply to neutral towns, killjoys, those who follow more traditional city styles, etc. Also I know I said I was going to do drawings for this and I might add those later but for now just text bc the drawings aren't coming out how I like.

Younger kids (2-7):

Both girls and boys have long hair because protects them from the sun without trying to get them to keep hats or hoods on since kids can be difficult about the required amount of clothes, let alone additional stuff. It can also be hard to find children's sized clothes, so many guardians don't bother with "unnecessary" items. Hair is usually kept long enough to tie out of their face because kids also make lots of messes, but sometimes hair will be a bit shorter (usually for boys).

Younger siblings will rarely have anything that isn't a hand-me-down, so if you have an older sibling of the opposite gender then you're probably going to be dressing like the opposite gender for most of your childhood. This is rarely an issue since gender doesn't usually have the same relevance as it does in the real world.

Long skirts are common regardless of gender because they keep the legs covered to protect from sunburn. Also, you can grow significantly before an ankle-length skirt becomes too short, unlike pants where you just have to get new ones when you outgrow them. When skirts get short enough to start exposing a lot of skin, extra fabric can be sewn on, or leggings can be worn underneath. Wraparound skirts are preferred because you don't have to adjust the waist at all when the kid grows, so you don't have to worry about buying/making new clothes all the time. However, other types of skirts work just as well.

A lot of younger kids get homemade shoes. They don't need to be great quality, they just need to keep the kid from burning their feet. Once a kid is old enough to begin helping with the family business (if there is one), go on trips with their guardians, etc. they get real shoes since it becomes more important once they're working or away from home for longer periods.

Then older kids (8-12):

At this age kids are old enough to want to have more freedom of expression so styles vary a bit more.

Since they're mostly still wearing kids sized clothes which are harder to find in the Zones and outgrowing things quickly, hair is still usually kept long to protect them from the sun in place of a hat or a hood that would either be too big or outgrown too quickly to justify buying it. However, sometimes they'll get their hair cut short, especially boys. Regardless of length, there's more variations in hairstyles, since it's a form of expression that doesn't cost any money.

Skirts often come above the knees in the front for more mobility/range of motion. Kids this age are old enough to help with work or chores, so it's easier if they don't have to worry about the restrictions long skirts can bring. At this age skirts are less about practicality. Long skirts are seen as a more childish style as the main point of them is to let kids grow without needing to buy tons of new clothes all the time, and skirts of any length can be impractical. Some guardians don't see the point of the skirt if the kid is just going to be wearing pants underneath anyway and the kid transitions into just wearing pants. For those who do keep wearing it, it makes their ages and allegiances clear. Since "adulthood" is pretty much "whenever you look like an adult" or "whenever you can do the same work as an adult" it makes it clear that this is a child, and that they're not a killjoy (since some killjoys can be this young).

Again, kids this age usually aren't working actual jobs yet, so sandals are more common than closed-toe shoes that might be required for a more dangerous job. Sandals are preferred over closed-toe shoes since they take less supplies to make so they're cheaper. These sandals might be homemade or might be made more professionally.

Younger teenagers (13-15):

This is the age where you'll see a lot of actual variation in style. First short haircuts are common at this age. Some kids might have a job, so hair length is usually depending on the job they have instead of gender. A job where they're often inside or where long hair would get in the way? Short haircut. A job where they're often outside? Long hair. Of course, some people will still pick a style they like over practicality, but looks over practicality is a very killjoy-esque mentality that most of the desert does not follow.

Outfits vary a lot, again based on what's practical for work, but it's common for their clothes to be a bit oversized, since they're usually still on the smaller end even if they are wearing adult sizes by now.

Some kids still wear skirts to indicate their age if their guardians feel that they're not ready to be seen as an adult, but many wear pants only.

Most kids have close-toed shoes now, but again they might be a bit too big. Rags can be stuffed in the toes until they fit properly.

Older teenagers (16-19):

Can pretty much look like anything! Just like for younger teenagers, haircuts and forms of dress are more specific to what you're doing, since most people have some sort of job at this age. Skirts are not worn anymore.

Jobs often work like trades, where you learn to do something and make that your career, instead of switching between them a lot. A lot of jobs are making necessities like clothes, candles, and food, or services like doctors/nurses, messengers, etc. Sometimes certain professions go together, like gunsmiths (who can make or fix guns) will work with artists for killjoys or anyone who'd rather have someone else paint their raygun for them. Markets are a great place to sell their wares so a lot of vendors there are going to be people like this.

Ok I already made a kinda similar post but I feel like I wanna re-articulate/add to my point

So, Steven wanting be seen as an adult isn’t a problem at all bc like.... he is. Basically. Maturity and experience wise, he has more than passed what qualifies as becoming an adult like.... years ago

But the part of snow day that concerns me is how he pushes away all the things that have been shown to make him happy, without really showing any new things

(Also the gems behavior of suddenly treating Steven like he’s 12 again (which he’s rightfully annoyed by) seems like a big jump, but I’ll explain that in a minute)

Like it’s perfectly healthy for ppl to grow out of little kid stuff and into adult stuff, if they actually grow into adult stuff! Bc Steven like.... doesn’t. He exchanges together breakfast for protein shakes, but that’s it. Everything else is replaced by work

Also his refusal to rely on the gems in anyway (for food, to let garnet pack his bag, etc) could be seen as just like a part of trying to establish his independence, if it wasn’t part of an increasingly concerning pattern of refusing to rely on anyone for anything

And tbh? I think both things are very much connected to what happened with spinel and in the movie

Like in the very beginning/in here we are in the future we see him acting A lot closer to 14 yr old Steven. He’s obviously matured, but he shows actual interest in stuff (the rock show) acts more goofy (rolling down the stairs, jumping through Lars’s hair) and relays on the others a lot more (letting garnet & amethyst catch him)

Obvi the rest of the movie is super stressful and the gems don’t know him so we don’t really get many more things like that. But those actions are prominent and show us 2 important things 1) even though he’s definitely grown he still likes to act kinda silly, and 2) he’s still close with the gems

So what happened?

Well, at the end he says to spinel “there’s no such thing as happily ever after. My work will never be done” and like... I think that’s a much more important line than anyone is giving it credit for

I think spinel’s attack was something much bigger that affected him a lot more than ppl realized. It made him realize that like this shit will affect him for the rest of his life

And tbh I wouldn’t be surprised if that led to a subconscious thought process of “I always need to be vigilant and ready to help” to “I know I’m not a threat, so my problems should be pushed aside to help others” to “I need to try and stop problems before they happen” to “I can’t Ever think about my problems bc I need to find any others and fix them instead”

So now he doesn’t wanna think about his own issues for 2 reasons a) bc it’s hard and b) bc he thinks it’s more important to make sure everyone else in the galaxy is ok then it is to make sure he’s ok. Which is only gonna make his problems worse x 2

And it’s showing in how he acts in future vs the beginning of the movie, though it’s most evident in snow day

Like in the movie there is no indication that any of the gems are babying him in any way. At one point I was literally annoyed cause I was like they’re letting him do too much. But they’re def not babying him, they obvi show concern but they still let him continue after he collapses, interact w/ spinel (probably assuming he went to fight her) on his own, and face her on his own at the very end. All things they would never let him do in say s1, which is how they’re treating him

And in earlier episodes they’re like... letting blue bird chill which is another thing they wouldn’t do if they were really babying him lol

But we know that there’s a decent time skip between those eps and snow day and the other eps, bc of how Steven’s discussing the third quarter when little homeschool seemed to be just opening at first, and the weather change

So like what I think is happening is that after spinel’s whole thing Steven starts to distance himself a bit. He still spends time with the gems, but he doesn’t really let himself rely on them for anything anymore

As time goes on and he a) finds out he has distructive powers b) is struggling more to keeps his emotions in check and c) relizes he’s even less safe than he thought after bluebird, he starts distancing himself even more, as well as throwing himself into work more to avoid having to face his own problems

The gems slowly start to notice, and attempt to reconnect with him. There’s nothing he really likes now, and any changes he has made they don’t know about bc he’s distancing himself. So they fall back on stuff they know he used to like, and start treating him like when he was a little kid and wanted to spend time with them really desperately

So in the process of trying to get closer to him they actually hurt him by romanticizing a person he just.... isn’t anymore. He’s dealt with a lot of shit since season one and he’s a completely different person, and treating him like the little kid he hasn’t been in years is both super insulting and hurtful

So they end up in this sort of paradoxical vortex. Steven is isolating himself/abandoning the stuff that makes him happy/throwing himself into his work to avoid dealing with his emotions, hurting both him and the gems. The gems try to fix it, but accidentally make it worse, hurtling both him and themselves. Until it finally cumulates in snow day and them having a chat

But

Their conversation only solves 2 of the 5 main problems Steven has that are shown/referenced in the episode

The gems babying him

Distancing himself from his family

Abandoning/not having anything that makes him happy besides work

Refusing to rely on others in anyway

Throwing himself way too much into work

(Plus theres the other 2 big ones that aren’t really in this ep but still important

How he feels about his mom

How he’s pushing his own emotions aside in favor of helping others)

So... yeah. Obvi all that stuff is gonna be handled later on, I’m just a bit worried about my boi ;-;

Utd vs City - FA Cup 4th round - Jan 25th 2020

Okay so this game was a little all over the place, I feel like everything just goes out the window on derby day. For real tho my blood pressure went through the roof this afternoon, I HATE derby day. Moving on.

‘10 - Cracking save from Earps. She was on her game today (except for towards the end, but we’ll get to that later on). She did have some great saves though

Today I learned that I’m not a massive fan of Ellen White. She’s very good, yes, so disagree with me if you must, but she seemed pretty intent on literally killing Abbie McManus for a little while there, and she nearly came through Hayley Ladd at one stage, so... yeah. I’m not really a fan. Just don’t think a striker needs to make as many sliding tackles as she did today 🤷🏽‍♀️

‘22 - Jackie meggsed Steph Houghton and I thought I was gonna die of joy. If that’s even a thing. Also, wish we could have made something from that but hey.

‘24 - Was a little choppy for a lot of the first half. Sigsworth had a glorious opportunity to open the scoring but unfortunately couldn’t make anything happen, and then Ross went kinda close, but it ended up creeping over the bar. City were definitely in charge at this point though, most of what United had was coming off the counter

‘30 - Goal, City. Abbie... bro. Personally, I never bought a ticket for the McManus hype train. And that’s why.

‘37 - Nailed on chance for United surely, ball in from Hanson I’m pretty sure, but Sigsworth just couldn’t get there

Half time: First half went pretty much as I expected it to, minus the goal if I’m being honest. McManus’ mistake was pretty stupid, and shortsighted, but what’s done is done. I do think that we need a new CB (at least one) in the summer, cause I haven’t been majorly impressed w McManus tbh. I much prefer the Turner x2 partnership at CB, but even then Amy can have a tendency to make some silly mistakes. (I’m sure Millie does too, I just haven’t seen those yet. They’re human, not robots, we all make mistakes!) I think Abbie, needs to be benched for a little while; move Amy back to CB w Millie, move Smith onto the right and bring Ökvist in on the left, and just let her develop and learn on the job. (Should Amy have to relinquish that RB spot, Smith should have it over Harris imo)

‘45 - No changes at the half, which was annoyingggggg. Also the male commentator (can’t remember his name, soz) kept making reference to the QF loss to Reading last season and I was not appreciative. Like, at all.

‘48 - Like for the majority of the first half, Zelem was sitting very deep in the Utd midfield. Was almost like a back 5 at times, w Zel sat just in front of Abbie and Millie. She was basically invisible during the first half due to this as well, little to no offensive action. I’m pretty sure that Ladd started sitting deeper to push Zelem up at some stage though

‘56 - Goal, City. This was game over for me (lol). I’m not really sure who I blame for this one, seen a lot of blame on Amy, but there was definitely a delayed reaction from Millie in there too, so I’d have to watch it back (which I don’t plan to tbh) to fully make up my mind, so I’m gonna blame them both. Seems only fair. 🤷🏽‍♀️

‘59 - James 🔁 Ross. An hour too late but I’ll take it. I’d have started James, without a doubt, but Casey said they were “managing her for the upcoming games”, also she kinda has a tendency to pick up yellows - through no fault of her own really though. Some other players just can’t deal with her strength on the ball so when they challenge her, they come off the worse and she gets in trouble. Riddle me that one 🧐

I also think we need a new striker in the summer, Ross just isn’t working. We need another game changer, another creative outlet like Lauren cause it’s massively unfair to rest that responsibility solely on the shoulders of an 18 year old.

‘60 - glorious shot from Hanson that just couldn’t make it. She really opened City up down the right side. To be honest it was a great save from Roebuck too

‘69 - GOAL; United. Remember when I said Lauren James should have started? Because Lauren James scored a super goal 10 mins after she came on the pitch. Lovely turn and shot, straight past the keeper. Game on, apparently.

‘69 - Arnot 🔁 Sigsworth. I think this was a good swap, even though it may not have been like for like. Jess was EVERYWHERE today, I genuinely don’t think there was an inch of the pitch she didn’t cover. She had a few decent chances, which any other day she probably would have put away but that’s the way it goes I guess 🤷🏽‍♀️ Honestly if we had any other options, I’d rest her more, but we don’t so... I do think it’s the right decision to sub her off around the hour mark if she’s gonna play this often though. She’s gonna burn out quick cause she’s doing way more than she needs/has to (because we have no bench and a lot of inexperience/players who just aren’t that good, so everyone is doing 47 jobs but shhhh)

‘72 - 👻 - Pure daylight robbery is the only way I can describe this. One of McManus or Arnot has the ball OVER the line, but it’s disallowed 🤦🏽‍♀️ (Before anyone comes for me claiming “salt” or whatever, there is nothing you can say to me that would change my mind. There’s videos from the stand that show the ball over the line, Ellie Roebuck’s body-language and position show her clearly fishing the ball out of the net, the reaction of all the players around the goal show that it went in - Utd players elated, and City’s dejected. Also Miss Ellen “I couldn’t really see. I wasn’t in the line of it” White can swing. She was 2 feet away and staring right at it.)

‘76 - Goal; City. Jill Scott floats it up and in , with a delayed reaction from Earps. All in all, I think our entire back line had an off day today.

Abbie, imo she’s our main defensive weak link. I’d say a solid 70% of City’s chances came down our right side due to this. I’d have to go back and rewatch every game from the start of the season to pick out specific instances, but there can be a bit of hesitancy and airiness to her game sometimes, it doesn’t always seem like she thinks before she does. And she (well, all of them do it really) plays it back way more than is healthy for my stress levels.

Millie gets the benefit of the doubt from me today cause she very rarely has off days, but she was very quiet today.

Amy, has some extent of the benefit of the doubt cause she’s not a RB/FB by nature, she’s had to change her game a bit, but she was not great today (see previous point about the right side of our defence)

I actually think Kirsty Smith was the best of the 4, her service to Hanson on the left was excellent.

UPRISING.   ↳     if ymir had truly stayed in paradis,  i definitely feel like this would’ve been the start of her biggest developmental arc.   her death ended in the bittersweet story of a girl who was never able to find a balance in her vices & virtues,  letting herself succumb to a part of her she tried so hard to suppress.   with historia kidnapped, and the chance of going through even more with her cadet class,  i think she could’ve gotten something of a medium in widening the tunnel vision she had grown accustomed to.

as a now-revealed titan, she was definitely held under suspicion for a while.   she was thrust into squad levi to be trained alongside eren, but the guy did not trust her nearly as much as he did eren.   it took a while for her to be brought back into things and the only people who really stood by her side at first were eren & historia.

made it a point to coo tf outta her real name whenever she could.

her biggest clash with capt. levi was when he pushed historia to become queen.   while, sure, she respects* levi enough now, she still resents him & believes historia wouldn’t have said yes otherwise ( i.e. doesn’t want the role / she’s playing the path given to her )

* ymir shows her respect by being slightly nicer and all this really means is she’ll tease you and be crass instead of snarling & ignoring your mere existence.

scares & annoys all the children in historia’s orphanage 24/7.   if someone shouts  “ill tell YMIR!”, you can bet everyone gasps and falls silent, a quiet, “... you wouldn’t”  hitting them from the back.

RETURN TO SHIGANSHINA.  ↳     ymir would’ve obviously been required to join in the fight here, and was likely perched on eren’s titan the whole time & ready to be thrown wherever depending on where RB show up to spread their power.

biggest takeaway here is just to remember WHY she chose to go with reiner & berty in the first place :  she felt like she was indebted to them.   in this verse, that’s going to taunt at her constantly.  if it ever came down to it, and she had to face reiner 1v1, there’s a 99.9% chance she couldn’t do it.   when eren was fighting him, she would likely be given the opportunity to drop down and end / grab reiner once and for all when eren has him in a lock for their first fight, but her hesitation gives bertl enough time to get to him instead.

i’d imagine she’d get called out somewhere around here,  and get a moment where the cadets kind of remind her they’re well, her friends ?   like they make it a point to show she matters and she’s more than just “that girl who’s around historia all the time” & a bunch of really gay shit that would make her cry & feel worth something and probably have some sappy inner monologue of “i thought i knew what my new purpose in this life was, but i guess in the end, none of that really matters anyways”  because she really starts to see that the world isn’t as simple as she was used to from her youth, and shit expands / changes and you just gotta go with the flow and let yourself enjoy the now.

she didn’t say shit for the serum bowl.   while she, personally, agreed erwin should take it, she could tell levi was hiding something, and high key, she trusts his decisions over anyone else’s, even hanji’s.

this is so stressful I literally have so much respect for these returnees who are putting themselves thru ANOTHER main season. I honestly truly am so excited about my mentor, I've heard so many things about Brett and we're both HOS winners so I'm excited!!! I feel like we'll get along really well. I don't have any outstanding first impressions right now but I love Dani that's p much it. I'm also the only newbie on this call right now and I don't know what these hoes are talking about. Bye.

I'm really excited for this! Its a lot to take in with everything thats going on and the one world twist and everything so it feels like a totally new experience. This is only my second ever ORG but I do honestly feel good about it so far. Everyone seems nice and I'm really happy with my mentor! I'm really hoping to go far here and am trying to set myself up early as a strong newbie, I know that will probably put a target on my back later down the line, but I want that. What's the fun in playing in the shadows. I want attention and I want to make an impact hopefully I can keep myself in the game long enough to make that happen!

ok hi it's been a little over a day since the game started, and I feel more chill about everything, but I'm still SUPER EXCITED to be playing woo!! 

I mentioned yesterday I was excited about having Brett as a mentor? That still mostly remains, but... he's not very forthcoming on advice. I really really need to get the ball rolling and talk to him about game stuff. I wanna form a really strong bond with my mentor and make the most of this season theme. He's nice and all but small talk with him is boring.

I'm tryna be social this game, I'm starting out small today and I messaged everyone on my tribe. I feel like I got a pretty strong first impressions read on everyone. Nicholas - My king. I've been friends with him for a while and we agreed we're working together already, us being on the same tribe is such a plus. Quillyn - Icon? So easy to talk to. Interesting to talk to. I think they're close with Nicholas too so that's perfect  JD - Ahhhhhh I don't know. I've heard so many good things about her but so far I'm not impressed tbh kljgdkg. Is that mean to say? Oh well, idk I didn't talk to her much but I'm not sure how well our personalities mesh.  Zoe - Actually the one person I haven't talked to yet because she didn't respond to me. She seems to be the least active and the youngest. Potential first boot if we lose. But I wanna protect her and befriend her bc we both have the same org mother (Jay B)

My plan moving forward is to align with the mentors and play a super strong social game. Last night on call it was me plus 4 mentors and it struck me that if I align with mentors it'd be easier for me to get in with students. I'm gonna try to talk to everyone in the game by the end of the round, but my first target tomorrow is to talk to all the mentors of the people on my tribe. I wanna get in good with them. 

That's pretty much it for strategy. But, something that's highkey kinda annoying me is my tribe on this flash game challenge. Like I'm really good at Cats so I'm okay doing it but I am AMAZING at Casanova and it's the most important game because of the clues. Like, JD came into the tribe chat bragging about her 2.08 million score like girl.... my high score is 3.5 million on that game. I was just in a game and someone got 9 million on it. Like, that aint that good of a score. But I also can't be that bitch and say I wanna take Casanova because I am genuinely good at Cats and no one else wants it, but I'm still being bitter bc I want that idol piece clue. Anyway, I'm tired, good night.

Okay SO 

 Day 1 I wanted to kill myself. You put Jules on my tribe. The girl who lied to me and gave me 1st boot in Olympics. A game with no idols and she still lied to get my voted off. And she's on my FIVE person tribe again. KTHX. 

 My student is nice. I like him, I like that he hasn't done that many games. I was worried that he'd just want to play the game and not care about the mentor thing, but like my good friend Katie, I want to play for my student. But once my student gets out, if he does, then I'm gonna play for myself. 

 So far I was on call the whole night. I made some real connections with Jack and Willow. Two completely new people to me, and I love them. I also started talking to Liam and Christine a bit. Those two are on my tribe and if we happen to lose then I REALLY need them on my side. Brett is nice. He's not my cup of tea right now, I can tell he doesn't care to talk to me, no matter how hard I try. He's closer to Jules age and her personality so I'm so fucking worried that they're on my tribe. 

 FUN FACT for the hosts. Gage (Mr Winner up in this bitch) and I know each other. I played HIS first game and I helped him out as much as I can. I was like his mentor two years ago and now we're here together and he remembers me! So I'm happy. 

 Also oh shit. Danielle and I are literally best friends. It's hard to hide. We were literally on call watching The Challenge when the cast went out and we found out we were playing with each other. The two of us stayed on call all night and made tight relationships with Willow and Jack together. She kind of let it out of the bag to Jack how well we actually fucking know each other. And then I stopped trying to hide it and we all laughed and had a good time. And I truly believe he will work with us for the beginning of this game. 

 Also me winning the mentor's idol piece, I didn't tell anyone but Danielle. I told Jack my score and Andreas that I got higher than his, but obviously no one knows who really won. I didn't tell my student because it's not even a full idol and I don't know if I'm going to be in his plans for this game, I want him to want me but I still have to feel it out. 

 Also Andreas and I have been friendly rivals for like 3 years so I'm excited he's here. I fucking love the other returnee tribe and I'm upset I'm not on it. 

 I'm really happy with the casting because I literally only know Gage, Jules, Andreas and Danielle. Gage, Jules who I haven't talked to in 2 years, and Andreas who I talk to like, only a couple times a year.

So you could call me shook honestly. I somehow got asked back for another season of Tumblr Survivor, something that I thought I would never do again. I didn't really like the community that it is now but right now? I LOVE IT. I get casted with my best friend Ryan and we legit had no idea that the other was casted. When I saw him, I gotta say that I was pretty scared. He's such a good player and that's threatening to me. But, I'm happy to announce that we might just be the perfect final 2. We talked all last night and played Roblox and it seemed like we were right on a good track of being number 1 allies. My thing with Ryan is that I really never know where his head is at. He isn't very clear sometimes so I don't know. On to other people though. I really like my tribe. Connor and I seem to connect the most on this tribe. I would think that if we were to go to tribal, he would have my back the most. Willow is another person that I adore. We sat on call all of night one and talked about weird/deep shit. She's someone that I can really work well with in this game. Andreas is someone that I am on the fence with. He somehow knew that Ryan and I were friends because he messaged me and said 'OMG Ryan!!!' and I almost thought I was fucked for a second. I didn't want to tell anyone that Ryan and I are really good friends because I don't really know how they would find out here. We were old school Tumblr and I don't think a lot of these young kids know us from back then. I also am vibing with Jack a lot as Ryan and I were the last ones on the tribe call. I almost guarantee that he got the advantage and Ryan already told me what he had (since he won it). We have 1/3 of the idol on our side already. I'm beyond happy but part of me is like ?? shit. Things have been going too well for me and I'm scared to see the downfall of Big T. 

Mkay so I have my THOTS I THINK It's midnight and I rlly should be sleeping but here I am doing this! First off, my tribe. I'm hosting Christine on RB, so instant plus. I've wanted to get to now Brett, so that's a slight advantage as we go along. Ryan and I hit it off right away, so I think he could be a valuable ally along the way as well. I haven't gotten to 1 on 1 convos with...um..lemme just go look for her name...Jules! Right, her. She seems alright but meh, I could easily see myself voting her out early on if she was to become dead weight. Second, my student, JD. Hello..? You there..? We've had one convo so far, and my mind is out the window. It's gonna take some time to get used to him tbfh, but as long as he's not voted out, I get my advantage! Third, my game plan as far as bitchy Liam goes. I'll lay a bit lower at the start, but I will bring down my hard blindside hammer the moment an opportunity arises. Peace. xoxo

whew so first of all i am super excited to see what happens in this game it's my first ever main season so i am really anxious and ready to get started!

i guess that i am going to begin with the first aspect of the game: mentors & students - i really feel like this is a fun twist and im excited to see what it has in store for us. i love the concept of extra credit and us having to help one another instead of tear each other apart. my mentor is the QUEEN big tuna/danielle and i absolutely couldn't be happier. i think she is a sweet gal and everyone seems to really like her so that's really great news for me! however i do feel a gut feeling that she doesn't like me or something or that someone told her something about me bc she seems really standoffish so idk i might just be crackedt but she seems like she isn't ever too thrilled to chat but it might just be her personality or something. either way i know her and ryan are super close so im hoping that she will keep me safe with him down the line.

as for the cast, i really adore a lot of people here and can see myself working closely with them. people like colin, willow, quil lynn, trixie, lily, lauren vorhees all stand out to me as people i would love to work with down the line and i feel like my relationships with them are pretty great as they are right now to where i don't need to work to hard to cultivate anything new. i do want to work with new people and step out of my comfort zone for this game and i am stoked to see some people who aren't the same dusty 7 bitches who are in every game so it is certainly refreshing to say the least. my goal for this round is to go around and try to spark a conversation with almost every single person who is in the game right now.

on my tribe i currently feel pretty safe. quil lynn is a great ally and we work together very well and she already told me she has an idol piece so that's great. she is the ONLY person I have told about the legacy advantage bc i 100% trust her. and now if anyone else finds out that i have it i can pinpoint it on her and know that the trust i have is misplaced. i really feel like the legacy advantage is going to be pivotal later in the game and it may not be able to help me but if i get into a situation like i have in my past few games where people i love are at f5 and stand no chance it could be a real game changer!

lastly i guess i will talk about the whole one world concept. i am really scared of one world games after i played another side season which had a one world twist and it fucked me up the ass with a knife and then twisted it multiple times. like a huge alliance formed and i got fucked from every single angle and it was annoying to say the least. now this time around i can choose to either be a part of that type of a movement or i can choose to just hope no one forms a cross tribe wild alliance. right now i am just going to be upbeat and social and just wait to see how things pan out, but my eye is open and im ready to strike up an alliance if shady things start to happen. let's just hope my tribe can pull immunity and i can have a very easy first round with no trauma!

Well hello! I'm so happy to be back, especially with this cast full of icons. I'm super happy that Lauren is my student cause she's an absolute gem. The only concern I have is that were not on the same tribe so I'm not sure how this is gonna work out. When it comes to my tribe, I'm literally obsessed with everyone. I've seen Jules and Ryan around the community and to finally get to play with them is amazing! And then Liam is actually hosting me in another game which is pretty cool, he's really nice but a little quiet. Then there's Brett and let me just tell you that I adore him and the fact that his student is Colin!?!? Its literally perfect. Me and Colin were freaking out about it on the first day since we all won HOS seasons in a row so if we can make an alliance out of that? Beautiful. So yeah, hopefully we don't lose any time soon cause I adore these people.

As for people not on my tribe, I get a really good vibe from Danielle and then Willow seems pretty adorable. Lily is also a sweetheart so if she and Lauren get along, that'd be amazing. The only person I've actually played TS with before is Connor. My only worry about him is that he might boot me early just to put me in Japan but other than that we're good!

For now everythings looking good, although I am concerned about the idol system. I normally work alone or with another person I trust dearly when it comes to this stuff so potentially involving 3 people!? Terrifies me. But yeah, other than that things are good and I'm just hoping neither my tribe or Lauren's go to tribal anytime soon. :)

My first confessional! This'll be boring. Anyway: My tribe dodged tribal! Sadly, my mentor's tribe has to go along with Quilynn's and Nicholas's. I think they'll all be safe though. I'm excited to actually work with them longer this time around. I got a piece to the idol clue, although I lied to Jackson about this. I really like him, but I need to make sure I can trust him 100%. I hope he won't be upset by this when he reads this. Sorry!!!! I like everybody on my tribe, it would have been hard to make a vote if we went to tribal. Let's hope that doesn't happen!

So we lost all because of irrelevant zoe not submitting! Like that would be fine whatever but when JD literally tried to help her with the issues she was having with the game and she just doesn't respond and then totally ghosts? like okay bye! However nobody on this tribe knows how to fucking read so even after getting the results we all just assumed it was a double tribal still until my mentor (Shout out to Willow she's great) wanted to teach me lol and helped me figure out that both tribes are actually just voting off one person which totally throws a wrench into this zoe plan! She is still my target, but now there are other factors, like first, why would the mentors vote off our weakest link? Connor is zoe's mentor so he probably wont vote her, and also what is stopping us as students from trying to take out one of them! I would like to make a big move like that, but it is so early in the game and because of zoe being an inactive flop we also are down a vote. Hopefully all goes well and we still get her out. JD also told me he didn't find the idol piece and I had to acted surprised lol I know Chelsea found it but nobody else needs to know that, especially now that it means we have 2/3 pieces! 

Okay SO we lost the challenge which pissed me off and OMG I JUST REALIZED THE BANNER ON THIS CONFESSIONAL PAGE MOVES IM HERE FOR IT!

Anyways so we lost the challenge, which was not to my surprise because these people aren't amazing at flash games and I did not try very hard in it. I need people to think i'm not amazing in them, because in great lakes it really put a target on my back. 

So, let's talk about these people in this game. I'm not really bonding with any of them which tbh I'm not too worried about - for now. They all seem very inactive, everyone seems super busy and i'm not about it. The person I actually get along with the most in terms of the game is Jules, we both have a bond of being original mentors. But as far as that, these people are really boring and scare me for that reason. ESPECIALLY CONNOR AND CHRISTINE, because he didn't follow me on insta and if people don't follow you on insta after you promote it, they want you out. But those two really just don't want to talk to me and I'm not gonna force myself upon them. When they need me i'll be there.

So currently the plan is to vote zoe out which I think is really stupid on the newbies side but I understand why, im interested to see if connor will agree to it. I learned in the first SvM that fighting too much for your student is dumb, so honestly if I were him i'd let it fly.

So let's hope I dont get voted out, I would not like that. Peace and love

omg I havent submitted a confessional like at all yet so this one is probably gonna be super long I'm sorry. Okay so I didn't know any of the mentors coming into this season but I knew 4 of the students?? what the heck. I'm just gonna do a cast assesment of my tribe and other people I've talked to in One World idk. 

QuilLynn- omg I love QuilLynn, I'm so happy that I got her as my student! She's so nice and iconic! I heard a bunch of great things about her since she played in Bouvet. I'm really hoping we can both do well in this season together!  Danielle- We talked for like 3 hours on call during night 1 with Ryan, and she's super awesome, and she lives in Wisconsin, which is where I was born lol Gage- We talked for a little bit, he seems nice so far and his dad owns a carnival which is awesome  Andreas- Andreas is cool I guess, but sometimes he can give one word answers when hes texting which is boring but if we get conversation going then hes nice Connor- I think out of anyone in my tribe I've talked to him the least which is probably bc hes busy from his job, and hes nice but doesnt give me a lot of conversation to go off of, idk if that makes sense  Colin- I played 2 sides with him, hes really nice so I'm excited that hes getting a chance to play a main season  Jack- I played a side with him and he was the first boot of the tribe but I like him hes pretty interesting  Nicholas- Nicholas has somehow played every side season I've played lmao and I think hes played more orgs then me, and hes really nice  Lily- I played in a side with her too and shes a super nice person but Dana said that as a player she doesnt seperate games which really sucks Ryan- I skyped with him for 3 hours on night one with Danielle and hes so nice!

Anyway I think for this next tribal its gonna be a fairly unanimous vote for Zoe to leave bc she didnt submit for the challenge and seems really inactive, so Im glad/ I hope its an easy vote. I mean it'll suck that Connor's gonna be sent to exile but oh well? 

So, take four. Here we go again. My student has NOT been online. We have had next to NO conversation about anything. It's like trying to mentor a rock. My tribe lost immunity, of course. Why would I be on a winning tribe. That would be too convenient. And, of course, it's a joint tribal council. And, of course, there has been a plan made to vote out my student. Now, im fine with that, and i go by the whole as long as it aint me aesthetic in the beginning of games before i start 'making moves', but it concerns me that i was the last person to find out. I could be reading into it, but im on the bottom of this tribe. Im trying to get some information from the other tribe to see who they have a plan to vote for and, if it's someone i think being eliminated from my tribe helps me, then so be it.

Holy fuck so okay..... Ummmmm this is my first confessional so I feel like I have to go over everything. The first day was a lot to take in, like there are 4 people here that I'm playing another game in, I've never done a one world before so that's fun. Sooooo that challenge was fun... I think this is the third time I have done Casanova as a challenge, but I'm good at it and me and Q were... I'm gonna say that I was being a greedy bitch because I wanted that clue and if we got the clue then there would be a tribe that didn't get it... Not that it helped at all because I missed it. This whole 'how do you search for an idol' this is really hard on the head too :/  I don't get it and I bet that it is sitting right infront of me and that's the pisser. Ummmm okay so that's the challenge... Zoe is going home, no reason for the other tribe not to vote out one of out own, it'll weaken us after all. But if she stays then it weakens us too so it's hard to say what is really going to happen. I'm in a game with Danielle right now and after a fucked up tribal I might end up in an alliance with her that I just don't want but I talked to her and Andreas and he was okay with voting her too. I'm also kinda talking with Conner so we'll see how that goes but I mean, even if he loses the % boost in challenges, do you really wanna have a student that isn't doing shit. I'm pretty sure that because the vote is so obvious that every one thought it was gonna be tonight. Or because everyone was talking about it so they thought that it was gonna be tonight IDK but literally everyone thought it was gonna be tonight. To add more shade.... Round one is pretty much over and I'm pretty sure I'm not gonna be first boot so all is well! It sucks having to go to tribal round 1 but at least it seems like we're all on the same page. Zoe didn't submit and she hasn't talked to like anyone. Like, sorry girl, I'm sure you're sweet and all but you're the weakest link in the tribe and if we wanna be strong we have to get rid of you. As for first round game dynamics, I've pretty much formed a pretty good talking relationship with most of the tribe and I feel pretty comfortable. I've been talking to Nicholas, Danielle, and Quillynn a lot and I think they're my faves. Lily and Jules are probably my other fave mentor/student pair because they're both super sweet and fun to talk to. Andreas talks to me a lot but I feel like he's the type to make f2 deals with everyone so I don't trust him. I'm highkey worried about not being in any alliances yet but I also really really don't wanna be the one to initiate them. I needa find myself part of a majority real quick.

United vs Brighton, 12/02/2020

Interesting that United appear to have played this game without a RB 👀 (I jest)

Anyway, the format of this one is gonna be a little different cause honestly, not much happened. And I’m kinda sick of repeating myself every game. This is gonna be mostly just thoughts, and ranting, so buckle up.

- Thought Ross started decently, she worsened as the game went on, and should have been subbed off at halftime I think. (Lil moment of appreciation for Casey’s “well done Jane!” bc same, even tho mine was a lot more sarcastic). I think she needs to grab some bench and get comfortable there though.

- Amy and Martha.... I just. I have very little words. The jogging sends me, the back passes send me, Amy’s long passes need to stop (or at least stop being overhit) before I have an aneurysm, Martha gives my anxiety anxiety. I have to say I was deceased at Martha (of all people) giving Amy instructions/advice early in the first half, like sis she does your job better than you do 90% of the time lmao. (Obvs idk what she actually said to her but my point still stands). Anyway, neither of them had a particularly great night, I can’t decide who was worse but I do think that they are both treading on thin ice when Abbie comes back - Amy more so maybe because apparently nothing will make Casey bench Martha 😩 I did like Amy’s boots tho. That’s not really relevant, I just thought I’d share. (Martha also gets a silver star bc of that impeccable tackle towards the end of the 1st half, I don’t have it in me to give her a gold one lmao)

- I think United started the game better, and were the stronger team - definitely in the first half, but Brighton just somehow managed to smother everything. Like barely anything got through that midfield. Brighton’s goal I think ultimately came down to a defensive mistake, I have no idea who left their man (woman?) open in the box tho. I’ll have to watch that back.

- Those backpasses have to stop. Find a new trick girls. Now. (This needed a point of its own just to hammer it home. I am SICK of watching that ball go backwards.)

- I think Smith was the best out of that back line tonight, girl was electric all down the left. (You’ll note almost nothing offensive came down the right).

- Pace of Galton and Hanson was missed massively - again. I desperately hope they’re not out for much longer (and that their respective injuries aren’t that serious) cause we’re really gonna need them back for the run in to 4th, especially with the build up of postponed fixtures.

- The corners still need a little work, but the free kicks have improved thank you Katie 😘 Amy also appears to be our main aerial threat? I would have assumed it would be Millie, considering she’s so tall, but the ball seems to be fired towards Amy if she goes up for the corner... interesting.

- Zelem was off tonight too, unusually sloppy and sometimes it looked like her head just wasn’t in it?

- I’m also just ignoring that blatant penalty that was missed because honestly it’s just not worth the trauma it’ll inflict on me lmao. I am getting incredibly tired of incompetent refs though. A lot of foul calls missed (going against Brighton) tonight.

Foreal tho, this was the worst United game I’ve seen in a long time. Even the Bristol defeat was better cause at least there were some amount of chances created. Nearly everyone was out position at some point, some were started out of position, there was pretty much zero pace going forward, the movement off the ball was shocking, defence and passing was sloppy as hell. Idk whether the pitch and the rain had anything to do with that, but it was hella uncomfortable to watch. I actually felt like I was watching the men at points - the entire performance was listless and uninspiring. The rhythm (when it was there) was way off, and it was just overall way below par from what we’ve come to see and expect from this team. I thought it was pretty stale viewing actually.

The girls have been off the ball a little bit since Christmas, but I can’t understand how this is the same side who pushed Chelsea so close last week? Something’s off. Like, one or two off days is understable, but for at least 8 of them to be so off at once... Idk what wasn’t clicking... whether it was the pitch, or if they’re just physically and mentally drained from last week. I just expected a little more against a side we’ve beaten so comfortably in the past - especially as we can’t really afford to be dropping anymore unnecessary points.

My highlights include (and are pretty much limited to) Casey absolutely going OFF on the sideline, “WAKEY WAKEEEEY” was my moment of the game. Casey for POTM perhaps? None of the other girls deserve it.

(Sidenote: sometimes I feel like I should just upload the handwritten notes for these cause they’re honestly so much funnier, but no one would be able to read them 😪)
