Another continuation art from my Cat AU from renheng week

Ren - Slytherin House

Dan Heng - RavenClaw House

Ren and Dan Heng are both wizards but they are exes, Ren’s next class is potions which was DH last class and he stayed behind because he is still doing his extracurricular homework but Ren doesn't know that his ex is there so when he opens the door He accidentally bumped into him.

Meanwhile, Dan Heng who just finished making his special assignment potion accidentally spilled it all on Ren and it turned him into a cat. Both were shocked about the turn of events and just stared at each other for a while letting it all sink in.

They haven't met again since their break up half a year ago so this was unexpected, now Ren is giving off ominous vibes and is very angry that he got turned into a cat BY HIS EX but it's not his fault it wasn't as if he knew he would be there!

But now he is stuck as a cat. Dan heng better turn him back or else! DH apologized for the accident and said that he’ll take responsibility and turn him back to normal but all said reluctantly because he doesn't really wanna be around him after their bad break up months ago but the sooner he fixes this the sooner they go back to their separate ways.

So he goes back to the common room/lobby with Ren in tow. When his friends see Ren they all coo at him, the twins try to touch him but got clawed and March took a lot of pics (Ren hates every minute of it)

"Ommgggg he is so chonky i could squish the lil guy!!"

" hey dh did you get a familiar??"

" does the cat have a name?"

"Sesame...."

Ren: *bombastic side eye*

No way DH will tell them that the very cat was his ex that he cried over 6 months ago but they don't need to know that) so he just speed walks afterwards to his room where he will try to come up with a plan. Ren stays a cat for quite a while (a few weeks) and is being a general menace like how cats are, he is especially hostile to DH other roommates (he isn't jealous of them esp caelus, definitely not! whatever DH does afterwards isnt any of his concern they are already over but he almost clawed their eyes out tho when they try to pick him up for cuddles or selfie)

Ren is super annoyed that everyone flirts with DH altho DH doesn't notice it so Ren just attacks them suddenly. DH stops him everytime and confused what his problem is so you'll see a cat in the corner with glowing menacing eyes no one gets close to dh now except his friends ever since he got a familiar

While DH was pulling an all nighter for reversal potion and Ren was sleeping on the table where DH works. DH unconsciously pets Ren like how he did back when they were together just like how Ren likes it. Ren starts purring and leans to DH touch.

Ren opens his eyes to see DH soft smile but then he wakes up fully hisses at DH and goes to a random corner away from DH but Ren was so conflicted on why it felt good and just sulks in the corner but then over time he finally goes to DH lap for some pets but be giving off the “hmph it's not like I'm asking for pets or anything it's just warm here” and he enjoys it a lot and even falls asleep on dh lap everytime (he doesn't want to admit it but he misses DH too, he doesn't even remember why they broke up in the first place)

During his stay with DH he also overhears DH friends talk about him like how they are happy that DH is doing well now after the break up incident half a year ago and how he locked himself in his room then.

 DH seemed happier now, basically Ren finds out that he wasn't the only one affected over their break up since he only saw DH's stoic expression so he thought that DH didn't care. On the contrary he cares A LOT he just has a bad habit of bottling his emotions.

There's also one thing he is bothered about, he knows that DH is a vidyahara, one of the legendary dragon races its quite rare to see one in person and most are in hiding.

He noticed that DH doesn't let out his true form in front of his friends, he knows how uncomfortable it is to hide all his other features DH told him that when they were still together but now he is in his human disguise 24/7.

Ren wants to know how long this has been going cuz that must've been uncomfortable. Apparently the transformation potion that DH was making was for himself (he just calls it special assignment so that no one except the teacher know)

He is not very comfortable in telling people what he actually is especially since vidyadharas are still looked at with disdain due to what his ancestor did a few thousand years ago. So Ren jumped to DH shoulders and pawed at DH earrings

DH knew that he is asking on why he is hiding his form even at his own home. Its DH closely guarded secret and even if he thinks of them as family he doesn't know how they'll react to it especially with his race’s bad rep.

He doesn't want to ruin their friendship and he tells Ren not to worry he got used to it now and not as painful as before. Ren realizes that DH trusts him enough to let him know and be out in full form whenever he is in Ren’s home. Ren was guilty that the one DH trusts the most, trusts enough to be in his true self is also the one who broke his heart.

He tries to apologize by cuddling and stares at him that he didn't need to hide it in front of him so DH lets the dragon form out and they cuddle to sleep.

DH made several potions to try on Ren but all it did was either make him floofier or lengthen his claws so they have no choice but to consult professor Kafka so DH told the her about the contents of the potion and other details while Ren just chills in DH's shoulder so they find out that they just have to wait for the potion to wear off and basing from what DH said, it should wear off a few days from now!

Kafka also jokingly says that  DH could just kiss him to turn him back into a human. Ren hissed and DH refused, saying it'll be awkward so they went back to DH apartment. Since it'll be off in a few days they just spend the day like normal and while DH was sleeping on the couch since the all nighters are catching up to him.

Ren licks his face (cuz DH is too adorable he couldn't resist and his way of thanking him) DH half awake just cuddles Ren and kisses him and POOF Ren is back to human and naked. Both of them are blushing like crazy and DH roommates walked in on that scene 

March, caelus, stelle: .....

Ren and dh:...... *blushing like crazy*

Stelle: errr you know this is a public place right...?

Caelus: *slowly closing the door* aight! Well leave you guys sorry for disturbing whatever it is you are gonna do!! Byyyeee!!!

Anyway once ren is all decent he called back his roommates and explained stuff but both ren and DH has to address the elephant in the room on where do they go from here do they go back to being strangers or talk it out and see where it goes so they decided to have their long overdue talk and found out that both are miserable without each other and that they still do love each other or how they missed each other’s presence, so in the end they got back together.

Bonus:

- ren turned back to human not because of the kiss its because the potion wore off at that exact time

- sure he is back to human but he is still has cat ears and tail for another month

- ren still retains cat like tendecies whenever he and dh cuddle/kiss his tail wags and his ears twitch. Dh thinks its adorable

OKAY SO i need to get this out of my system

It's probably obvious that Mick had been a difficult kid (of course, given that he was an outcast probably: the slim, small, weird kid with no body hair) and very much without friends. He'd have been the object of, mockery and nasty jokes and things like that; school sucks buddy!

Applying that into a Pokemon world: Mick would have definitely wanted a huge, strong pokemon. Probably to be able to properly defend himself, one like Kangaskhan, or a Zangoose or a Seviper (or even better, a Charizard just like he'd seen on TV!). Of course, having a strong pokemon would require years of training (and bonding too!), something that required a level of patience little Mick hadn't built yet. So, knowing his way into the woods due to always hanging around there by himself (comfort? escape? who knows), he goes deeper and deeper. Yeah, he tries to catch creatures he deems "strong", and horribly fails, again and again.

During one of these awful attempts, he returns home, frustrated and tired. However, the constant trips to this unknown part of the outback (and, of course, making a lot of noise) had attracted a teeny tiny creature: a Trapinch! The weak link of his group, low level, weak thing (but fierce and with a high defense), its presence isn't recognized until Ms. Mundy finds a lot of her crops missing and others bitten.

Of course, Mick finds the plague and brings it back to the outdoors, away from home. But it refused!Going back to the little boy's house each time it is taken away. Catching it on a small trap, Mick is willing to exterminate it, but something talks to him. Maybe he saw himself in the eyes of that tiny critter (who was struggling in a cage that wasn't made for it), or maybe he learned some empathy from his mother, or maybe he just wanted to contradict his dad. So, he keeps it in the end.

Clearly, the kid doesn't expect much from this, little creature that fits in his backpack (bad idea: he shouldn't have brought it with him to school, now he's also the weird pokemon kid). But still, he feeds it, he brings it with him everywhere (can't trust his dad enough), and slowly gets used to its presence.

The Trapinch soon tags along Mick into his hunting trips. The kid trains his precision with the bow and, in a couple of years later, his dad's rifle. Understands his companion's hunting method too, and slowly begins to train and teach new moves to it. A bond is forming! Through the years, Mick starts seeing the Trapinch as a pet (not that his family didn't had pets, but this one? it was his. the connection was visible between them)

The bullying problem doesn't stop though. Mick learns to avoid it, and avoid telling his parents about it (given that he already defends himself, and he doesn't want to make a fuss out of it). He drops school around his last years, dedicating himself to only hunting for some time, taking about a sixteen/seventeen year-old guy probably.

And wahoo! Word gets around about the quiet guy that headshots all the bunnies and deers and just like that he gets his first actually sniper job. (Not really going into that, let's focus on the pokemon aspect instead)

Trapinch probably evolves around this time. Not an extremely incredible event (some evolutions are televised) but Sniper might have not expected a Big Dragon-Fly. Vibrava is such a cool pokemon tho, it gets a while for Sniper to get used to the new name.

- Fun idea a friend of mine commented: "Vibrava can get him his jars to pee. It can also work as a bomb helicopter or smth: it grabs the jarate, flies above the enemy and drops it in their head"

However I do think they wouldn't have gone in much sniping jobs together, given a feral Vibrava's nature of, uh, the ultrasonic waves thing. It probably goes away a lot, into the outback all by itself. That's fine, but Sniper can't stop thinking his pokemon is going to leave and not come back some day.

Around this time, Sniper gets his contract at RED, travelling to Americs (probably around, 23 years old?) Forgive me for I don't know much about dates and ages! I headcannon Sniper to be in his mid 30's during the comic (Even though I'm pretty sure he's canonically 26, I'm sorry, I can't imagine him being younger than 30)

Sniper brings Vibrava with him into his (recently obtained) van, close to RED headquarters. For obvious reasons, it is not taken into the matches, but it's left out of its pokeball to explore around. At first, it doesn't return to sleep one night. Then it happens more often.

And it finally happens. Vibrava doesn't come back for a day, two days, a week. Of course, Sniper feels devastated, thinking it's gone for good (but leaving his window open everyday, just in case...)

He wakes up one day (or is it night? probably too early to notice), having heard a strong wind move his van. Groggy, goes outside to check if a storm of some kind is approaching, and he'd greeted by an enormous, dragon-bug thing that grabs him by the arms and lifts him up in the sky.

Flygon is way stronger than Vibrava. Bigger, of course, and more active. But still playfully bites at his hands, and still lays on its back demanding belly rubs like a dog (just like it used to do when it was a Trapinch). They go on camping trips together a lot. Sniper could technically go on its back, but he doesn't want to leave the van alone.

Sniper probably looks back to when he was a kid and is glad to not have uh, eliminated the pokemon when he had a chance.

Low key wanna rewrite winx club where Selina and Bloom are best friends from the start.

Both orphans adopted by the Peters tho they aren't able to adopt Selina until she starts high school.

Prior to that she was passed onto different foster homes.

The legendarium is a book of fairytales and myths that is the only thing Selina was found with, having been left at a fire station.

Mike's fire station.

I'd have it that while Blooms biological family guarded the dragon flame, Selina's guarded the legendarium.

Because Selina getting a hold of it because Eldora left it behind one day on accident is just... Nope.

Especially because only the two of them can use it.

I'd have it that when Bloom tries to read it it's full of gibberish, tho she believes Selina when she says she can read it.

Bloom has been having dreams about a masked woman since she was a child but one day the dreams stopped.

Selina had a pet snek called Arthur, named after King Arthur.

Neither Bloom nor Selina unleash their powers till Stella and Nutt show up.

Which is when Selina realises she can hear Arthur speak.

However Stella's not the only one who shows up, Morgana and Eldora do.

Morgana is the Queen of the earth fairies, I find it highly unlikely she wouldn't have sensed their magic and come running.

And Eldora because she was visiting Earth and was curious.

In this the wizards of the Black Circle haven't occurred yet... Kinda

For the whole reason I love Morgana and the earth fairies and love the idea of her being a mentor to Bloom and Selina and they get a baby sis in Roxy.

The kinda is because earth fairies are going missing, have been going missing for years but no one knows why.

The wizards haven't made their presence known for now.

Though fairies are being a lot more subtle with their magic which is why Earth has forgotten their existence.

Roxy knows about magic, her mother's identity and is around 12.

With Selina and Bloom being 18 and Stella 19 because this is her second go at freshman year.

Tho I'd have it Stella ended up retaking the year because she has to be taken out of school a lot for family issues.

Her parents officially divorcing that year.

And her having to piece things together and ultimately not having enough credits to move to the following year.

The staff were supportive in helping her make up those credits but Stella oppted to just retake the year.

Morgana takes the group to get house, Roxy's at school and Klaus is out. Bloom does demand that her parents are present.

She is very much on guard, especially around Selina who's gripping her hand in fear over what happened.

Mike and Vanessa both hug their girls and while hey magic exists it's a better explanation from Morgana and fits with some stuff the girls did as kids.

Tho Selina wasn't adopted as young as Bloom, the two were inseparable friends as kids.

The story of Bloom being found in a burning fire and Selina's werid book come out.

Eldora asks to see it and is fascinated that it's the legendarium itself.

Gushes about that for about 20 minutes and no one has much idea what she said but get the gist of it.

She asks if she can study it but Selina declines, it's very important to her and also as she points out Eldora can't read it.

Only Selina can for some reason.

Tho disheartened, Eldora says its cool and teaches her how to shrink it.

Artoo, a puppy at this point and Arthur have some werid beef going on.

Tho Selina can only hear onside of it and relays it to the others and it's hilarious.

Stella asks if they wanna go to Alfea which is when it's revealed that Selina is a witch.

Stella takes the news well despite her own prejudices about witches though she is concerned about Selina going go Cloud Tower.

Morgana reassures them both as does Eldora who's an old friend of Griffin.

While their is a prejudice against witches, their are good witches as their are bad fairies.

Bloom is still unsure but Selina wants to give it a try. They both talk about it and agree.

They are both enrolled properly by Morgana, no sneaking in.

Stella promises to keep an eye on Bloom and for them both to regular check in with Selina.

Bloom ends up dorming with Stella and the rest of the winx.

And Selina rooms with Mirta and Lucy.

The dorms in cloud tower contain less students due to too many instances of fights breaking out.

That at most witches prefer to work alone.

Selina and Mirta hit it off well and despite sneering at them both and rolling her eyes at times, Lucy warms up to them both.

And becomes very protective over them.

They are suprised that Selina has a fairy sister but accept meeting Bloom in magix.

The two sisters run over and hug each other, it had only been a week but it was the longest they'd ever been apart.

Introducing their friends who slowly but surely started to bond.

Though the trix come over and have to be all high and mighty about ooo a bunch of freshys are slumming it with a bunch of fairies.

"So what at least we can make friends"

"like I could care less, friendship is for losers."

"If you can't care less than why are you talking to us?"

"Oh so you think your better than us, you should be begging to join our coven."

"Why would I? No friends, not being able to see my sister and walking around in... Those outfits. I'll pass."

Bloom, internally so proud of Selina who had always struggled standing up for herself and the rest burst into laughter.

"I'll say, monogrammed outfits aren't my style but I can appreciate them done right. This, nothing short of a fashion emergency and... Is that your initials glued on?" Said Stella, chiming in.

"You little!"

Before any of the trix could try anything though, Flora caused vines to trip up Icy, and she fell into a table, getting a milkshake all over her.

"You! You'll pay for this!"

Everyone looked at Flora who smiled sheepishly.

Oh this was gonna be quite the year.

Bro getting roasted to hell and back XDD I really wanna talk about George being insecure about being grey eyed tho, because it’s important for the pnf (gunz??) plot!

Bad’s flight ends up getting separated for quite some time after they’re raided by another group of dragons. Bad, Skeppy, Boomer, and Ant get separated into one group, Dream, George, and Sapnap into another, and Punz and Sam manage to stick together for a while before they’re separated. Sam later meets up with Ponk and the two of them reunite with Bad’s group, while the dream team eventually come across Punz before finding everyone else.

By the time everyone’s back together George, Sam, Punz, and Ant are all within the age where they should receive their god claim (late teens/early 20s) and get their elemental magic and colours. This is often seen as a sign of coming of age and adulthood, but with the world still being messed up and the gods unable to see it, most dragons don’t get a claim.

Punz and Sam do tho, and with them being bonded young adults they quickly grow an attraction towards each other and start testing the waters of being each other’s first talonmates.

This has George feeling all kinds of ways because he wants to be Punz’s talon! George and Punz have always been close in this au, they originate from the same flight and were each other’s first bonded, they’re best friends! George just kind of always assumed they would be each other’s first talons, but here’s Sam flirting with Punz and Punz is clearly going along with it, eating up all the attention Sam is giving him. 

George quickly grows convinced that Punz isn’t attracted to him because he’s still grey eyed, that the reason he’s attracted to Sam is because Sam has a god claim already. He decided that Punz must still see him as a little kid due to his eyes and still not having any magic, and he doesn’t know what to do or say to convince him otherwise.

This all eventually leads to George venting out his frustrations and concerns to Dream, who tries to encourage him and cheer him up. Coincidentally this leads to Dream and George becoming talonmates, and then Punz’s the one confused.

Because in reality Punz is actually very interested in having George as one of his talons, but George has shown no attraction towards him. Sam is easy because he doesn't hold back his wants and desires in the slightest, he’s very blunt with his attraction towards Punz both verbally and physically, his book and parchment like scent getting a hint of sweet herbal tea whenever he’s around him.

George has made no moves to show his romantic attraction towards Punz at all, and with his scent blindness also affecting the output of his own scent there’s no way for Punz to clearly smell his emotions unless George tells him what they are. Punz just kind of assumed George wasn’t ready to have a talonmate yet, or that he didn’t want a talonmate at all, so he didn’t push his boundaries. When George get together with Dream Punz assumes he was never interested in him like that and accepts it, but not without sulking about it. 

Still, the two just kind of keep pining for each other, Dream being very aware that George is attracted to Punz and Sam starting to suspect the same with Punz sulking and the looks George will give them when Sam’s around the guardian. 

It takes some pushing, but eventually Dream convinces George to be more open with his affections and Sam encourages Punz to spend more time with George. It still take quite a while longer but eventually they both finally get the hint and understand they’re both interested in one another, officially becoming talons <3

How much do characters change in the Jiang Dragon Au?

THANK YOU FOR THE ASK ANON I HAVE BEEN CRAVING SOMEONE TO TALK TO ALL DAY. Well, talk at, I guess.

OKAY, so main ninja of this AU:

Kai and Nya are descended from a long, long, LONG line of dragons, their first ancestors being Wojira and the Fire Dragon I have yet to name! When Ray and Maya go missing, Wu obviously takes them in, because in this AU he's just taking in kids honestly.

Cole ran away from home after his mother died, and never looked back. He took to the mountains, where he met a travelling Wu. The two spoke, and obviously being worried for this distraught teen, decides to bring him home for a bit, bc he's actually kind of a family friend anyways. Cole in this AU struggles with depression (which, if u think about it, isn't even far from his canon self, I'm not gonna explain that all tho there's a youtube vid ab it from Corbyin watch it).

Lloyd was abandoned by Misako at the Monastery, after Garmadon ran away. (In this AU, the venom didn't corrupt Garmadon, rather it fucked up his oni and dragon sides, forcing them to blend and mesh and meld together slowly over time I'll go into Garm and all that in a later post if y'all care.) Lloyd lives with Wu, Kai, Nya, Cole, and Morro (note, I am keeping their canon age differences more or less, I kinda wanna keep Morro like in his 40s tbh, and Lloyd as a kid still). (Misako went looking for Garm btw shes not a bad mom she just couldn't take her son to find Garmadon bc it was too dangerous)

Morro was an orphaned boy, he lost his father and mother to the Serpentine War. Wu, finding this lost little boy hidden in the Monastery, decided to feed and shelter him, eventually adopting him after learning he has no known family. Morro is like, an important character in this AU, but truth-be-told I'm not rlly a Morro stan, it's just like, him being here is important for reasons.

Tbh I really don't get why people think Jungkook is certainly gay. Recommending songs from lgbtq+ artists is not a big deal, everybody does it. Moreover, Jimin and Hoseok heavily imply their bisexuality, Yoongi is probably queer too, he's very straightforward with it. Namjoon obviously supports lgbtq+ community. Taehyung, too, seems to be a big ally of queer people, being friends of gay artists, constantly giving us queer media. Idk about Jin tho. I'm just genuinely curious why people think Jungkook might be queer? Outside of usual song recommendations, I don't see him hinting at it? He had a girfriend when they debuted and there also was a video or gif of him kinda flirting/playing with a girl backstage (2014-2015 maybe). I mean, he did say he didn't feel anything towards his ex-girlfriend and all girls are the same, maybe it may imply his potential homosexuality idk. People also mention G-Dragon when they talk about Jungkook being potentially not-so-straight but it rather looks like simple admiration, same with IU. So, really, is there any concrete proof of Jungkook being into men? With Jimin it's obvious, he's been checking men out through out the years (no, it's not about "Jimin flirts with everybody" because he doesn't) and he's heavily hinting on his bisexuality. He also talked about accepting himself and being free a lot, which is in his context is queer coded.

Jungkook is definetally is an ally tho he supports queer artists and uses gender neutral pronounces but that's it, that's the only times he can be linked to lgbtq+ community. I've also seen people say his "I'm still me" hinting on his potential homosexuality but that also can mean so many different things.

So I'm really curious why do you (not particularly you, Stormi, others too) think Jungkook might be into men? Ships aside because despite being rational prejudices and biases can oftentimes affect a person.

What's interesting is that I don't remember seeing anything that would hint on him being attracted to men. But I also doubt I saw him being attracted to women as well. He had a girlfriend but he didn't feel anything. There is a video of him playing with a girl backstage but it's just a play. I wouldn't like to push heteronormativity on him. He said he will never marry but that doesn't say anything about him being attracted to someone. Yeah, he was visibly uninterested in those girls from AHL which maybe would imply that he's queer but they just weren't his type or smth.

Then you have all these videos of him looking at someone and people in the comments screaming about him having heart eyes, lusting and desiring the person he's focused on. But it's simply stupid. Some people just have this a bit lovestruck face. People around me say I look like I wanna kiss or devour them though I was simply listening to then. Some people are just flirty by nature.

So yeah, his sexuality is none of our business but that's an interesting topic. Ships aside, has ever shown an obvious interest in someone, doesn't matter which gender?

Dragon Age Shit under the cut!!

((Holy crap. It deleted all my progress but here we go again. I hope I can remember all the details))

— Also for reference I’m only gonna talk about the pt’s I’ve actually finished. Which is only four of em.

First up we’ve got Rosal Surana!!

((Still proud of how this one turned out so she doesn’t get an update))

Circle Mage lady who just wants to learn as much as she can!! She’s my first COMPLETED pt. So I made the fact that I was always asking all the questions in each interaction part of her character.

She’s curious, a bit overly so.

She made her own outfit. This was like— designed before I got better at copying clothes fashion but I do like the idea of Rosal just… making this for herself. Not looking like she’s from any particular nation. Just herself.

She romances Zevran, whom I love dearly. She is best friends with Alistair and Morrigan. She never got as close with Leliana but they still friends.

Rosal was a Chantrified name for her. Instead of the traditional Dalish name that her mom named her. (I honestly can’t recall what it was originally. I was dumb and didnt right it down) She was born in the Denerim alienage and taken away at 8 when she accidentally used her powers against a human boy in the street who was picking on her.

I had like. This whole idea for a fanfic with her that takes place after Awakening where she goes on a search for her mother who was sold to Tevinter. Full of intrigue and drama.

Secondly! Alana Cousland!!

Grew up refusing to act like a lady, much to her mothers disappointment. Not doing her hair, running out to learn how to fight with daggers rather than manners, scaring off suitors with her blunt way of speaking and teasing. Just a real Princess Merida situation.

She grew up wanting to be like the great heroes she learned about growing up. Slaying dragons and fighting armies!

But then… her family was taken so suddenly from her. Everyone she knew and loved and grew up with, dead. She got her dream of being a heroic Grey Warden but… the cost always makes her feel guilty… like she brought this upon their family due to simply… wishing for adventure. She had a LOT of survivor’s guilt and became kind of a rude, blunt person. Cold and hardened.

But… then she met an idiot named Alistair. Who somehow managed to make her laugh despite terrible circumstances. And would listen to her and talk with her. He helped her to open up.

Despite being… herself. She managed to befriend all the companions pretty closely. Especially Sten and Leliana. Sten approves of her while Leliana is much like Alana’s mom, nagging her into brushing her hair and maybe… taking care of herself a bit more…

In the end Alana marries Alistair and became Queen. She finds it incredibly ironic that she was running from this type of life all of her youth and yet… walked right into being Queen. Because she saw it as… finally accepting her duty is important. And wanting to take that step with Alistair. She still struggles with public appearance sometimes. And would often rather be off fighting dark spawn. But she is also happy to be able to… rest. After everything…

((Tho the convincing Alistair to sleep w/ Morrigan to save their lives for the sake of the kingdom was… a little awkward. Especially since Alana is friends with Morrigan just… uncomfortable all around))

Next up we’ve got Solan Aeducan!

Solan Aeducan was on her way to being a great dwarven warrior. Which sucks. Leaving Ostagar was one of the hardest things to happen. Seeing the sky was a horrible reminder of what she had lost.

She was always a quick to anger, hot-headed woman. But after leaving Ostagar she became untrusting and just... more angry...

But then... she met Leliana. Who helped her to see the beauty of the stars... and then they fell in love. I love them so much.

Solan got Leli a nug in Ostagar. And listens to her stories, loving just how... smart Leliana is.

However... she is... the ONLY playthrough that I’ve done that she refused the ritual... and so she dies... and Leliana is left alone... So I’m a terrible person.

And Lastly! Fen’nas!

Fen’nas is a glorious himbo. He is bold and flirty though has a BIT of a short-temper. He likes doing nice things for people. Which... makes him and Morrigan a bit of a... unique situation.

He totally fell for her the second he saw her. Which is a surprise for all of us considering how Morrigan swooped in the way she did.

But he loves Morrigan and wants her to be happy. Even though she runs away after they make a baby. But he runs after her like the rom-com man he is.

And he goes through the mirror with her. And raises their kid together. And he is a great stay-at-home husband. Though... they never got actually married. But they are in love. I love them.

Omg y e s ofc I wanna talk about it! Glad you wanna hear more about it cuz holy shit it's like opening a can of worms.

Of Thrones and Heirs (or OTAH, if we wanna get short lmao) is the book I've been working on since I turned 13 - which means this silly story has been in my head for 6 whole years. Holy shit. Seeing as it's been with me for so long, it has developed immensely over the last years and has seen many alterations.

It started as a very self-indulgent fanfiction, written for a school project by me and four of my friends at the time. We used our own names (at the time I still most frequently used the name my parents gave me, Manon, instead of the nickname given to me by one of my best friends, Mona. Funfact, that same friend also helped write the first version of OTAH!), used plotlines that aligned most with our own fantasies, and inserted already existing stories into it.

Hey, what can I say. We were preteens and as I've said before, teens are just idiots in nature /j. For the information, I'm technically still a teen. Turning 19 on November 8th.

Now I'd like to inform you a bit on the storyline of this first iteration of OTAH, written between October and December of 2016, the time before I actually knew how to write a well-developed story. Hold onto your seat, darling, this is gonna be one heck of a ride. Oh, and I'll totally provide excerpts, translated word by word from Dutch. Just because I can.

The Destiny of Five (2016);

We open up on a small prelude by a 13-year-old Manon. She tells her readers about world, a strange one, one no-one has ever seen before. However, she has been there, has seen its dragons, its elves, the creatures one can only dream about. She informs us that she and the friends she has visited this world with have decided to write their findings and their story down, and closes with expressing her wish that this book inspires the readers and makes them realise how even their own world can consist of magic.

After this, we get a list of characters we meet in the book. After starting on Manon and her friends (for their own privacy, I will change their names. Mainly cuz I have had a severe falling out and have some lingering traumas over one of them and would like to not be reminded of that lmao), Sander, Norneth, Fioré, and Laventher (these names will also return in future iterations, funfact!).

Next to that, we get a little introduction on the side characters, and this is where we get a bit weird. We "meet" Hiccup and Astrid (because little Mona and her bestie were the biggest fans of HTTYD even at that age), and Saturno and Spica (the main characters of a fantasy serie by Geronimo Stilton little me was obsessed with). With that information, we start the story.

Closing in on the group of five friends we've met in the introductions, we see them walking out of their Dutch class of the day. They have been assigned to go to the library and pick a book that interests them (even tho that isn't clearly stated lmao) and are not happy about that. Well. Sander isn't. Little Mona and Fioré are. After some shenanigans, they reach the library, however, Little Mona halts them right in their step. She has a strange feeling, like something is going to happen.

"And suddenly little Mona yells: 'Stop! We have to stop!'

And everyone stopped.

'What is it this time!' Sander sounds outraged.

Little Mona gulps and her eyes seem fearful. 'I don't know, but we have to leave! Something is going to...'

Suddenly, a car drives at us in full speed. He can't stop. He scoops Sander.

A few minutes later, an ambulance arrives, who takes Sander to the hospital.

'Let's go to the library. Sander didn't want to go anyways,' Little Mona says.

'So let's do that!' Fioré steps on her bike. The others quickly follow."

The epitome of storytelling, I know. After that marvelous display of friendship, the rest of the group arrives at the library. There, Little Mona and Fioré see a strange library worker walk out of a hidden room. They decide to enter that hidden room - as if that isn't just a storage room and the library worker is just doing their work - and find a strange, shining book. And cuz they have no impulse control, they steal the book and go to the hospital Sander is at, to visit him or something. Fun times.

However, when Sander opens this strange book, the five children get sucked into it. Classic. When they open their eyes, they find themselves in a case of glass, their bodies starting to fade. Oh shit, goes through their minds, but it's already too late.

Suddenly, Fioré and Little Mona are in an all too familiar place; Berk. Dragons everywhere, they meet Astrid (cuz she's an icon) and are brought to the village. Fioré runs off to do whatever the fuck - Little Mona brings her back and they get to take a good look at themselves; Fioré looks exactly like a dragon rider, and Little Mona suddenly looks like a little elf. Very strange. However, a problem rises; the rest of their friends aren't with them.

Let's turn our gaze to Laventhel, who has ended up on the very Dutch island Vlieland. Yes. This is a real island located in the north of the Netherlands - that's how Dutch we were in this book.

Meanwhile, Norneth is in a city of fire, where she meets a crazy old man, dubbing him the crazy old man. Deep sigh. He is a firewizard and they argue for a very long time.

Fioré and Little Mona talk to HiccStrid and meet Saturno and Spica, two knights from a special knight island. How fun! They're making friends. Damn, this was self indulgent and I love it. Take me back pls.

A lot of filler follows; Laventhel meets an old man as well and learns that they're in the year 2070 (which, okay, very accurate with the lore I suppose? I guess that's what happens when you write a book with five people lmao), and that Vlieland is slowly sinking into the sea. Laventhel is gonna save the island!

Meanwhile, Fioré and Little Mona remember the book that took them to this new world, and decide to not open it until they have found their friends. They get dragons of their own to go and find them, a Night Fury named Arya for Little Mona and a Stormcutter named Cloud for Fioré. Fioré can suddenly talk to animals and Little Mona is an airbender, which is fun. They leave to find their friends with HiccStrid and the two knights.

Laventhel realises she's a waterbender and finds a horse. Sander has some hijinks and loses his memory. He immediately decides to become the evil overlord of an army of evil people he hypnotises to do his bidding, as you do. He becomes a firebender and a teleporter out of sheer rage. Apparently he can also steal powers, but it never comes up again.

Fioré, Little Mona and Sander run into each other and have an epic battle. The girls try to tell Sander he is their friend, but he can't remember. They part ways again, and Sander is gonna try and take over the world. Way to go, 13-year-old.

Laventhel fights a watersnake and realises she needs her friends to save Vlieland. As she does that, Fioré, Little Mona, and Norneth reunite for some reason. Apparently, Little Mona is psychic or something, cuz she can see the future. They inform Norneth of Sander's evilness and the next day, they run into Laventhel, who has left Vlieland to search for her friends. This, they do. Vlieland is saved! Good way to end that plot.

However, things are twarted as Sander and his evil army hypnotise Norneth and make her evil too. Little Mona sees this happen, but gets caught and falls into an intense confrontation with Sander. As they fight, Little Mona gets drained of her strength, but Fioré and Laventhel save the day just in time. They lock the two evil kids up - Little Mona gets a bit manipulated by Sander as he pretends to know her again and he summons his army. Another fight happens, and it doesn't end well this time. Sander manages to hypnotise everyone, but suddenly remembers his past with his friends. He is back to being himself for a moment, which is great, but doesn't last long. At night, he turns evil again and he and Norneth kidnap therest of the group, minus Laventhel, who manipulates the two to let her go back to Vlieland. In secret, she raises an army against her friends.

Little Mona and Sander fight a lot again, the tension is real as apparently they are each other's equal in match. Eventually, the war starts as Laventhel brings her armies to Sander's kingdom. And epic battle ensues and guess how the two evil friends gets turned good again? Well, um...

"Fioré and Cloud fly up to Little Mona and Sander, who are fighting. 'Hey, Little Mona. A question: if someone is evil and gets a stone thrown against her head and her cape turns white, is she good again?' Fioré asks.

She answers Fioré without looking up. 'Yes, indeed. Why?'

Fioré yell: 'Norneth turned good!'"

Yes, they solve the conflict by throwing a stone against Sander and Norneth's heads. The war is over, and friends go back home again.

This first iteration is… something. Yeah, it sure is something. What it is, I am not sure, to be honest, but it was my first work of fiction and I’m glad I did it. Otherwise, I probably wouldn’t have been the person I am today, which I’m pretty proud of.

After this, I wrote two sequels in the span of a few months, this time on my own and not for a school project. My friends didn’t work with me on those, it was just ya girl. However, about a year after that, I decided to redo everything from those first books and turn it into something completely new. It would no longer be a self-insert story, instead being about a new group of people who were basically me and my friends, but with different names. I don’t have the whole plot for this, cuz this version actually never got finished and got changed so often I couldn’t keep track, but I’ll try my best to recreate it in a satisfying way.

Myths (2017-2020);

Fifteen years ago, a young queen, Daphne Liber, dethroned in a senseless war against a family named the Farunturs and having lost her entire family, made a deal with the Gods to save her newborn daughter. She died because of this, but the daughter and heir to this kingdom, the Kingdom of Erujishan, is saved.

In the present, we get an introduction to Miraya Liber and Sander, two middle school kids, best friends for life. They go through life as one normally would, growing up happily. However, one incident throws their entire lives into disarray; two girls, Fioré and Norneth, show up to kidnap Mira and bring her back to the Kingdom of Erujishan to take back her throne. Mira is like, hell no, I have no idea what you’re talking about, cuz she has gained some spunk in the last few iterations, and she and Sander flee from them. Fioré and Norneth go crazy when they hear Sander’s last name; Faruntur.

All efforts of the two teens are stopped when the intruders get to them and suddenly, they are teleported out of this world, into an entirely new one, separated and alone. Mira, disoriented and terrified, meets the surviving Libers, Dawn, her husband, her grandfather, etc. Fioré turns out to be her cousin, a girl who can talk to animals, and Norneth is a family friend with fire magic. Mira is determined to find Sander again so they can go home, but that can’t happen. The girl’s grandfather explained that the world Mira and Sander grew up in was the afterlife and that she has been in a life-saving coma for the last fifteen years, having been brought back to save the kingdom.

Which, okay, fine, but I don’t think it would be very safe to let a fifteen-year-old save a kingdom. Heck, I’m almost 19 and I don’t even know how to drive. And also, this opens up a lot of weird plotholes I’d love to explore some other time (like, um, how tf did they put Fioré and Norneth in a coma? Wut? If the exchange to putting someone in a magic coma like that is taking the life of another, who in the world died to get Fioré and Norneth into the afterlife? That’s a story that should be explored).

Mira learns she has air magic and that the Libers want to use her to get the throne back from the Farunturs, which is always fun. However, Mira now has shifted her goal to finding Sander and getting away with him, away from this war she has fallen into. She and Fioré, together with Fioré’s dragon, Kumo, sneak away to the city of Shin’yu, where they meet Arbre and Joyeux, two siblings, the children of the leaders of the city. They also meet two elves, Selene and Atlas, a couple. Now with a team, Mira’s hope to find Sander grows bigger.

However, Sander got brainwashed by the Farunturs. Turns out, he, as a child, after the Farunturs learned of Daphne Liber’s sacrifice to save her daughter, got send to the afterlife as well as a way to keep him safe of all harm. Now, they washed him clean of all his memories to make him the perfect heir – throwing away he has an older sister and cousin who are both much better rulers than him, smh.

Sander and his sister, Mavis, get send into the world for… reasons, together with a traitor of the Libers. Turns out, Norneth is just a traitor! Yes, this has a real life reason. The person she was based off of, who I thought was a friend, and I had a huge falling out during this time. They kinda stabbed me in the back and the trauma ran deep after that, so I decided to make their character an absolute bitch instead of doing the more logical thing, which was write Norneth out of the story. But, I guess Little Mona needed this to mentally survive and not get more fucked up.

They meet Mira and the gang in Shin’yu, and a fight ensues. Norneth kills Kumo and Selene (not that we really cared about them as we had only known them for like. A chapter.) and Sander turns out to be able to control fire. He and Mira got into a shouting match and Sander yelled at her to stop calling him Sander. His name was Arashi now. After this, he ran off, leaving Mira alone in the ash and dust.

Arbre, with his village now destroyed, blamed Mira for the cost he had paid, as Atlas grieved his girlfriend. Fioré just cried over Kumo’s corpse – and Mira realized the pain Erujishan was in because of the Farunturs. She would get to Sander in another way, but saving this kingdom seemed more important at the moment.

The gang returned to the Libers’ hide-out, where plans got hatched to rage a war against the Farunturs. However, as Mira begged her family to let her help, she got pushed away, being told her admiration of that Faruntur boy would be their undoing. As she was send off, she walked into her grandfather, Riyu. He expressed his desire for a shared rule between the Libers and Farunturs, and Mira agreed. After they had parted ways, however, Mira got kidnapped by the Farunturs.

When waking up in a cell, Mira was greeted by Mavis and Sander. While Mavis mocked her, Sander had a strange kind of concern in his eyes, leaving Mira wondering about his thoughts. She met the Farunturs’ leader, the grandfather Jinsei. However, as they left, Sander expressed his concern outloud and the two kids bonded over their shared history, even if Sander couldn’t remember any of it. The boy, his social abilities being wacky, kissed the heir of the Libers through the prison bars, and the next morning, he helped her escape. They rode to the Libers’ newly established front by horse, where Sander got threatened and was forced to ride back home. The kids kissed again. I guess I really shipped them.

Mira was brought to her family and met a strange girl in a dark coat. Her name was Yami and she was a necromancer – she had raised an army of the dead in Mira’s absence, consisting of old Libers and their warriors. Thus, Mira reunited with the parents she had lost. Soon, the world got ready for yet another war, but this time between equals. Shit, I can’t imagine how fed up the normal people must be with the Libers and Farunturs. Like, oh damn, there they go again, guess I’d better pack up my farm again to let them wage their war. Pff I need a story about that.

Mira and Sander pretended to fight as the large battle around them started, the two fronts yelling and screaming at each other. Atlas killed Norneth in revenge, Arbre’s sister Joy got killed as well. Mira’s father tried to kill Sander in an act of rage, but the girl threw herself in front of his sword.

Half a year later, Mira woke up again. She had fallen into a coma again – oops? – and the war had passed. Sander had gotten his memory back, and the two reunited tearfully. The ghosts had returned to the afterlife and life was slowly getting back to normal again. For some reason, Mavis had been crowned to be queen? I don’t know man.

Anyways, the kiddos kissed again. Nothing could keep them apart anymore.

And that was this iterations. This is getting pretty long but I love infodumping about this story and I have literally never been able to do that to this extent lmao. Most of my friends got superannoyed when I did lmao. This version… well, it’s something. At this point, most original plotpoints were thrown out of the window and the kids were completely their own characters. This version has seen me through a lot of up and downs and it was always something I could return to, even when I had nothing.

And oh, I sure had nothing at times through this. As many of you can second me on, being a teen is brutal. Friendships ended, I got a boyfriend who was way too romantic from day one and ended things way too quickly, I created other stories and my homelife worsened severely cuz my father isn’t the best person. I believe that around the end of this era, I also created Siri and Niv, who were also a huge source of comfort for me at the time.

In March of 2021, I started reworking some things for this story and changed its name to Of Thrones and Heirs. Many characters got removed and changed, plus the story got a total rewrite. And damn, that was a lot to figure out, but this version got finished. In a repeat of history, I finished OTAH for a school project, in nine whole months.

So, thus, the story of Of Thrones and Heirs, my personal favorite iteration of this project and the definite summary of this tale.

Of Thrones and Heirs (2021):

On a cold day in the middle of winter, Mireya Liber, former heir to the throne of Cadence, tried to infiltrate the palace. Eleven years ago, when she was merely seven years old, her family had been dethroned and slaughtered in what seemed like a senseless beg for power from the Farunturs and the normal folk. Ever since then, she had been trained and taught to take back her throne from those wicked Farunturs and let her family rule once again.

A manipulator, a trickster, a mind of her own; things that help Mira get past the gates, despite her family’s demands. They don’t think her ready for such a serious task like taking back the kingdom. However, to her, this would be the day. She would take back Cadence for the Libers. But, things don’t go as planned as she fell into the hands of the prince of the kingdom, Lysander Faruntur. A young man with a kind smile and gentle hands, he had never seen the outside world in all its glory. His sister, Mavis, would soon be crowned queen; he was itching for it to happen.

Lysander thinks Mira is just a peasant girl, here to help around, and quickly takes a liking to her, believing her name to be Amire. He takes her around the castle, talking and talking, as Mira shudders in rage at the thought of even walking next to a Faruntur. However, maybe this can work to her advantage. Maybe she can use the prince to get close to the princess.

Thus, she fell in a careful dance around him as her family tried to get her back into their hands. Dawn, the woman who raised her and her cousins, Fioré and Silas, send Fioré after her, angry with Mira’s sudden independency. Slowly, but surely, both Mira and Fioré, the latter having flourished after leaving the Libers and working on their own, realized what the world turned out to become in their years of hiding.

Maybe the Farunturs really made things better.

Mira wasn’t ready to admit that, but as she got closer to Lysander, the switch in her mind slowly got flipped. They discovered a world outside the palace, basked in the freedom it suddenly gave them – but Mira’s internal struggles only worsened and worsened. Should she uphold her duty, or should she choose her own path?

Fioré befriended Mavis, a nervous woman with her heart in the right place. Her leadership would be grand, her plans for the world ever so great. While Fioré was quicker to turn themselves away from the Libers than Mira, they still didn’t know how to tell the princess about their Liber-DNA, about Mira’s plans, or Dawn’s.

I won’t be going into all the details here, since it’s really a damn lot and I will probably publish this story someday after I’ve polished it, but the gist is that Mira, after a lot of ups and downs, learns to trust Lysander and rely on him. With this, she isn’t an heir anymore, and Dawn rages in her disobedience.

And after this, now the two sides are established, the real fight for the throne begins.

So that’s OTAH! The roster of characters is larger than I’ve made clear here and the details are more intertwined as well, but these are the basics. Mira, Lysander and Fioré are some of my favorite characters I have ever created and they’re more dear to me than I can ever express. I hope I’ve put some clarity on this mystery project of mine and that I have entertained you <3

Definitely understandable i easily lose the energy to talk with people when i have to interact with family. So you're good. Ah yes the dont worry about it approach my favorite. thankies ahdhfjfj!!! and, once again, apologies for the late reply. my grandma fortunately left a while ago but i was feeling Cranky and didnt wanna sound Annoyed With Existing ahdjfh. still kinda dying inside since i return to school in 2 weeks but fuck it we ball we stay silly etc. COMING BACK. yeah like "nobodys gonna know-" "theyre gonna know." "how would they know". and understandable sjdkfgjk consider this your reminder then. and ahh fair i live pretty far away from the sea so i dont really know good Spots i guess. BUT i do like lake beaches since theyre way more quiet most of the time. and basically im not exactly sure in how many countries it applies, im thinking most of europe? but essentially language knowledge here is divided by levels, a1 -> a2 -> b1 -> b2 -> c1 -> c2 with c2 being the highest. and well i guess theres also a0 but thats just when you start. a2 is just speaking Basic English, so like enough to survive if you go to an english speaking country but not much more. for reference, by tests ive done, my level is like between b2 and c1 so very decent but i dont know most of the "fancier" and more specific words. and with it "getting worse" i mean that [at least from what our teacher told us] the textbooks are getting easier and easier so people are leaving school not actually knowing almost anything. yeah SAME its been so hot here recently so ive been Suffering. and yeah i know but me and my mother dont really know if its a good idea to buy one since we dont really go camping anyway. but maybe when im an adult im gonna get more into it, esp if i have ppl to do it with. and ah thats nice to hear!!! i DID manage to get kafka and her lightcone so ive been having fun with her recently. actually overpowered. tho i heard shes quite f2p friendly. and oh understandable!! i unfortunately used to be on tiktok where they spoil EVERYTHING and its impossible to avoid so ever since then ive been extra careful. tho i kinda feel that way ab fontaine rn [cos i ended up actually being kinda interested] since i cant download it rn but still am excited 4 the story despite knowing little unconnected bits. and fair, minecraft def isnt for everyone but its very good for chilling out at least to me. rn im procrastinating on beating the ender dragon so im just maxxing out my gear rn. and yeah but im still gonna see whether or not i wanna live a long way from my family. oh well i still have time. also thanks!!! i have not been successful yet but i bought another dye so im gonna keep you updated on that. and ahhhh understandable, ive been Grinding so i didnt have that problem sjfkg i should build my sampo but. ah. i hate grinding artifacts. pretty excited for the 1.3 simulated universe update tho!!! esp since im really curious about the aeons so seeing more of the propagation is sth im looking forward to. but good luck!!! and VERY real i like doing wikipedia deep dives esp about marine animals. im a fishpilled oceancel but i unfortunately suffer from Not Remembering Anything Ive Read Ever.

I have been thinking abt Iris going to Unova tho, bc I wanna say she did learn abt Lance once training at Hammerlocke in Galar when he was younger so he could understand Dragons more and be a stronger trainer, and she wanted that kinda experience too. So she told Lance that there was a Dragon Master in Unova too, his name was Drayden, and Iris wanted to train under him the same way Lance trained at Hammerlocke. She wanted to be at Unova bc she knows Hydreigon was a pkmn native to the region, so maybe she can learn more abt her own partner too. Lance was reluctant for a bit, ofc, that's his daughter and it's not like Silver would join her, so he and Dia are worried at what would happen to her.

But yknow, Iris was at least fifteen now, and half of her team are fully evolved pseudo legendary dragons w her, she can defend herself well. So hey, Lance and Diantha finally agreed, letting her stay w Alder while she's there, and Alder promised to update her parents every day abt her progress.

And hey, everything went well yknow, Drayden was dope, he's cool, he's nice, even helped her train her own self too, making her do push ups and all that hahah so she's at least physically strong too. And like, yeah the events of BW, she was visiting Castelia, it was her break so she decided to buy some Casteliacones, then Team Plasma happened, and then Alder and Iris both told Dia and Lance and man Dia almost wanted Iris to come back home in fear of her daughter getting hurt. But yknow, Lance tells her that Iris should stay at Unova, Dia almost got mad then Lance stopped her, going on how Silver managed to stop Rocket along w him and his own friends, they should have faith in Iris too. And Iris reassured her that she wasn't alone in dealing w Plasma, as the entire Unova League was trying to stop them too, along w these trainers from a town called Nuvema. Diantha was honestly still terrified, but she decided to trust Iris, ofc Lance was right, their kids are capable, they're not weak

And yeah, they stopped Team Plasma, Iris still stayed for a few months, and in those months she became closer to the Nuvema kids, till Hilda said she's gonna search for N, and the others didn't want her to go, but she was determined to find him yknow, to bring him back home too. So they wished her luck, and then they parted ways, w Iris going back to Johto, and Diantha and Lance were there hugging her tight, happy that she was alright.

It would be funny tho if N was in Johto. Like yeah two year timeskip, the Unova kids kept in touch w each other, they suddenly get a message from Hilda, "idk where the fuck this loser is I searched the entirety of Unova and even Alola i think he's dead fr"

And Iris is there at Azalea, sees this guy w long green hair apparently talking to the Slowpoke, then messages their group chat "*sends a pic of N w the Slowpoke* this ur guy?"

So yeah, Iris and N had a talk, and he really was the same N of Plasma, he changed tho, Iris knew, and she said that Hilda was looking for him. And like,, idk, a lil moment between them, w N saying how he felt guilty, he didn't want to face them just yet, but he knows he has to, even Reshiram wanted to go back to Unova, and he has to admit, Unova was home to him. But idk, maybe before they left, Iris let N stay w her for a bit in her home, and he got to know her fam, and they were nice to him, he honestly thought Diantha could talk to pkmn too, but she said she could only ever really read their minds. And yeah after that maybe, they decided to head to Unova again

But hey yeah, the events of BW2 w some changes hahah and how it's N and Hilda and Iris who helped Nate stop Ghetsis, and Nate, despite the one who captured Kyurem, decided to leave it in Iris' hands, as she has more experience w dragons and the fact that he really didn't want to be w Kyurem. But yeah, they went to Opelucid, and it was nice seeing Drayden again yknow, it was a teary reunion, but Drayden was happy to see Iris again. Nate told Drayden of Kyurem, and he wanted to just trust Iris in handling the Splicers, as he really didn't want to, and ofc Drayden went w that too, if Nate doesn't want to, then it should be someone who knows the true powers of the dragons but still strong enough to not get the power to their head, and who's a better candidate for that than Iris? So yeah, they entrusted Iris w Kyurem and the Splicers, and she promised she'd take care of them the best she can.

Anyways imagine Iris showing off her legendary pkmn to her fam tho, Lance and Dia were impressed ofc, but Silver was jealous af going "I'm gonna find a legendary Pokémon too! And it'll be stronger than yours!"

But also yknow it would be cool if the Unova kids visit Johto for once, it's always Iris who visits Unova anyways, plus it would be great to visit other regions every once in a while. But like imagine them getting there via their dragons tho bcmdnd hahaha imagine Hilda and Bianca on Zekrom and the boys on Reshiram, they land on Blackthorn City, and they see Iris, Hilbert was waving at her and yeah they reunite hahah

Imagine tho Silver seeing the other dragons and became more adamant he'd find a legendary too, and Lance is so fucking amazed by the other two legendary dragons of Unova right at his doorstep, and Diantha's there still processing how these kids got Unova's legendary dragons under their command like they're just normal pkmn hahaha

KEITH X LLOYD.

Whether it be show or movie, platonic or romantic, they mean so much to me.

Let’s start off with the show:

Lloyd is the son of Garmadon, and Keith is the son of Clouse. Garmadon put all his love into Lloyd, while Keith was a product of Clouses jealousy and hatred. Lloyd was taught all these good morals, while Keith was taught the opposite.

From the moment after meeting, they start a rivalry (like fathers like sons am I right?) and that’s how it goes for several season- of course with these little moments where they actually get along and support eachother, and then deny it in front if people because yeah-

There’s moments in the series when they’re dealing with dark magic, and Lloyd goes “god, if only Keith was here” and either be accepts the thought or quickly backtracks and is like “WAIT WHAT NO EW”

PreCrystalized, Lloyd actually moved into Keith’s apartment- and they still have the whole “bickering like a married couple” trope going on from here all the way to Dragons Rising, everyone else begins to notice that Keith and Lloyd know each other better than they know themselves.

Like- Lloyd immediately knows how to calm one of Keith’s headaches after a ritual, and Keith knows what Lloyd about to do before he even does it- and everyone is just counting how many times this happens before they mention it. (Sora actually thought they were dating one time until Nya corrected here, and that’s when everyone started taking notice of all these little things)

Keith and Lloyd have this Macaque/Wukong type relationship (tho without the murder obviously)

Anways, there’s a lot I can say about them- ONTO THE MOVIE:

Keith is in the popular crowd and Lloyd is- (a loser/affectionate) -not well liked. I had this idea of Keith absolutely hating of Lloyd but being in love with the green ninja.

Clouse is still Keith’s dad, and Keith works at Chen’s, and there are these awkward moments where Keith is forced to give Lloyd a Chens birthday discount or serve Lloyd and his friends table and I do find it funny- ESPECIALLY after Lloyd gets revealed to be the green ninja-

Lloyd is out with his mom and Garmadon, and Keith comes around the corner to serve their table and his face immediately falls because he hasn’t seen Lloyd in a while. AND ITS SO AWKWARD because Keith would talk about how much he loves the green ninja, and then the kid he hates is the green ninja.

“Oh, yeah I may have confessed my love for your alter ego, but we can’t pretend that never happened right?”

But bonding and recover does happen- and it starts with Keith facing his shitty actions. And with Keith trying to get the son of Garmadon to forgive him, Clouse ain’t to pleased because hey that’s the son of his highschool rival.

Also Clouse and Keith moved into the same apartment complex as Lloyd and Koko, and Clouse and Koko have some beef.

But yeah I honestly wanna write something about them. Likes there’s so much I could talk about for both movie and show and it’s just djsfjafajavana

Extreme Meatpunks forever is so SO good omg. It's a VN/mech brawler where u be gay and fight fascists!!! Trans and nonbiney ppl are out here being badass af. The game has cws/tws built into the game ( which i love sm ) Also there's a ttrpg on Kickstarter RIGHT NOW!! 

Another game with nonbinary characters is an rpg called Ikenfell! It was one of my favorite games to play last year and the music and just everything? Honestly so good I'm def replaying it this year. It also has tons of good accessibility features!

Another game studio I love is @pillowfightio !!! They worked on Later Alligator, We Know the Devil, and Heaven Will Be Mine. I highly recc all of them but esp. Later Alligator cuz like just look at Joanie. They're so cool.  

In the game Everhood gender doesn't exist <3 Literally multiple characters are referred to with they/them pronouns and the gameplay is very enjoyable 

 CW LOTS of flashing lights and I feel like there should maybe be more cws but I'm not sure what else to add :l I guess a warning is that Everhood gets into more serious stuff and I'll be honest when the game first came out I had to put it down for several days b/c I just wasn't ready for a lot of that stuff, but I honestly liked the game a lot!

I was debating on adding this bc while I love this game there's some issues. So Gnosia is like werewolf ( or among us if you will ) but more narrative focused with time loops etc. There's two wonderful nonbinary characters and you can be nonbinary HOWEVER ( minor gnosia spoilers. skip past if you want to avoid it) . . . For some reason finding out the AGAB of one of the characters is mandatory and I fucking hate that. It's so unnecessary esp for the world building that's been done. Also tws for the game: sexual abuse / assault, gore ( in only one scene ) (spoilers end) but yeah I still added it because the characters are so neat and strong for the type of game it is and without that bit I wouldn’t feel so :/ abt recommending it. It’s pretty fun ngl

Wandersong!!! The main character is nonbiney and I love them <33 It's such a lovely little musical adventure with such a nice narrative and!! Some of the devs just released Chicory ( which I haven't gotten to play yet ;v; ) but check that out too!!

Bravery Network Online is super fun!! It's a turn based rpg that feels really good and has two characters that use they/them pronouns ( Fel and Reed ) the character designs are sooo good and the game is currently in early access!

I never thought I'd see a claymation point and click musical featuring a nonbinary detective but Dominique Pamplemousse is just that Need I say more?

A personal fav I think about every now and then is Dad fighter 30XX!! Like who doesn't wanna beat up their friend's shitty dad in the parking lot of a dennys?? Also the win music is my FAV

I saw that anon ask about how "kinning" became a thing bc our community got ripped apart, so i wanted to give some more history on otherkin.

Back in the 70's, there was a group of people who identified as elves from lotr. They were called the elf queens daughters and considered everyone who wasn't an elf "other kind". Flash forward to the 90's. On alt.horror.werewolves the 'were' community starts forming, containing not just people who identified as wolves (werewolves) but a plethora of other animals (such as weretigers, werebears, weredholes, etc). Anyone identifying as a terrestrial animal was welcome into the therian community, and they had now come up with a name, therianthropy. On other forums similar things were happening in parallel, draconians (dragons) found each other, unicorns found each other. For people identifying as anything non human, the otherkind community was there. After a bit the d fell off and it became otherkin. These four communities found each other and started mixing a bit, existing under the 'alterhuman' umbrella. I don't know when (im a therian so i stayed mainly in those places) but at some point people identifying as fictional people (fiction kin) and as plants (phylanthropes i think) also found their way to the community. They were probably there from the beginning too.

Alterhumans turned out to quite frequently already be existing in places that were not the mainstream, such as fandom. Many are neurodivergent/queer/mentally ill/whathaveyou. Already on the fringes, and quite frequently only out on the internet. So when fandom went mainstream (around game of thrones i think, but it had probably been an ongoing change for a while) suddenly there was a lot of new folks adjacent to our spaces. At first they mainly just made any and all harassment more frequent (i believe anti-otherkin trolls where the ones to coin 'kinning' but i could be wrong about that) but soon enough they had spread our terms (twisted out of shape) to the newcomers in fandom. Suddenly being kin no longer meant that you on the deepest level felt that you were this thing (in all ways except physical, to quote one of our 'celebrities'). Suddenly, it just meant that you liked a character. Suddenly it was a thing only teens do. Suddenly, our community all but disappeared. Because now we no longer had our language, and we couldn't find each other. You just found people who would harass and bully you if you "seriously think you're a squirrel". We are almost as separated from each other as we were before the internet allowed us to find one another.

This probably got kinda long but i feel like people need to know what happened to us and our community. Now, there are forums and such out there. There are still a few places left. But on the grand scale of things the loss of our language has caused us to be dispersed.

I do wanna share a cool story about finding others irl tho. I am not out and i never will be. At uni i was having lunch with some friends, and one person from the year under. I cant remember what we were talking about but suddenly he pointed to my shirt (that had wolves on it) and said something along the lines of "we're both wolves/animals". He then tapped his nose and said "i know my own kind". I will never forget that, haha. I have no clue how he knew bc i think im pretty good at hiding it. But i knew he was, bc his Facebook profile didn't lead to much doubt. It never mentioned our terms/words, but it might just as well have.

Sorry if this got long. I hope i have spread some information on where "kinning" came from, aka trolls that destroyed a more than three decade old community.
