[12:58 PM]
"Well, how does it taste?"
Peering through the doorway, you tried not to make a sound as your boyfriend's mother asked, her eyes gleaming with affection, watching as her son, who was finally back home after a lengthy absence, enthusiastically savoured the homemade delicacies before him.
"It's good, as always!" San answered between bites, "Though, I must admit, it's got a slightly different flavour today. Not bad, just different," His mother bit back a grin as she sent a wink in your direction before he continued, "It's got that strong taste of the herb my girlfriend always adds to her dishes."
With a light chuckle, Mrs. Choi inquired, "So, whose version do you prefer then? Mine or your girlfriend's?" He glanced up at her with a puzzled expression, "What do you mean? Didn't you prepare this?"
She shook her head, a cheeky smile on her lips, "Nope, I was lucky to have a very helpful apprentice who volunteered to cook today while your lazy ass slept in."
His chewing halted momentarily as he blinked, straightening up in his seat, "W-wait, you mean—"
Before he could finish, you interpreted his mother's nod as your cue to make your entrance, "Surprise!" You exclaimed, swinging open the door to his parents' room and skipping toward them.
Mrs. Choi cooed as she enveloped you in a hug, "This is my lovely assistant for the day. How did you enjoy her cooking?"
As he took in your presence and processed the fact that you were really here, he crossed his arms over his chest and pouted, "Babe, did you lie to me? I thought you said you were too busy to come to Namhae with me."
"You ungrateful brat!" He yelped when his mother smacked him on the shoulder, "Is that all you have to say to your girlfriend after she took an emergency leave from work just to rush over here so she could surprise you and spend some time with us?"
His eyes widened in realisation, guilt flooding over him for immediately accusing you of lying to him. Jumping up from his seat, he hurried over to you, ready to beg for forgiveness if necessary, "Oh my gosh, you did? I'm so sorry, babe!"
While he tried to embrace you, Mrs. Choi shot him a stern glare, "You better be! Otherwise, I'll take her with me today to meet my friends, and you can spend the rest of the day alone at home!"
You snickered as he cowered behind you, attempting to use you as a shield, "I was wrong, eomma! I'll treat her well, please don't take her away from me!"
With a scoff, she nodded at the food, signalling for him to finish his meal, "You can start by polishing off what she made." Seeing her preparing to leave home, intending to grant you two some alone time before the family dinner scheduled for later in the evening, you moved to help her gather her belongings.
"Bye, eomma! Have fun with your friends! We'll see you, appa, and noona tonight!" He called out from the dining table, bowing his head in shame when she responded with a hand gesture indicating she would be keeping an eye on him.
"Don't worry about us, aunty. I'll keep him in line," You whispered to her as she slipped on her shoes. She giggled, giving your arm a squeeze, "Good, let me know if he does anything to upset you. I'll straighten him out."
You couldn't contain your laughter when you came back to find him sulking while doing the dishes. Snaking your arms around his waist from behind, you nestled your cheek against his broad shoulder, "What's wrong, Sannie? Aren't you glad I'm here?"
He pouted as he set the clean utensils aside to dry, "Seems like you've already had my mother wrapped around your little finger, huh? I swear, she loves you more than she loves me now."
"If you want her undivided attention, I can leave." You teased.
Before you could pull away, he panicked and spun around to hold you tightly, "N-no, please don't go!" He pleaded, burying his face in your neck, "I was just playing with you, babe. I missed you like crazy. I'm so glad you're here, and seeing you bond with my family means the world to me."
You melted at his words, tightening your embrace, "I know, Sannie. I was just playing with you too."
He couldn't resist moving in to capture your lips in a deep kiss. Your eyes fluttered shut as you kissed him back just as fervently. Pulling back slightly, he murmured against your lips, "Well, instead of playing with my feelings, why don't you play with something else?"
Gasping loudly, your cheeks flushed red at the implication, "Wh-what are you suggesting, Choi San?! This is your family's house, it wouldn't be appropriate—"
He burst into laughter, pecking you on the head, "What were you thinking, babe? I was just talking about Byeol. We haven't been here in so long, I'm sure she misses us. Don't you want to play with her?"
Only then did you recall the presence of his cat, and you turned over your shoulder to find her staring curiously at you and her owner, "R-right, of course. I missed her too."
He cupped your face, urging you to meet his gaze, and grinned slyly, "But you know, if you have other ideas, I'm sure we can—"
"No, stop it, we won't!" You squealed, flustered, pushing him away and rushing over to cover the cat's innocent ears from whatever suggestive remark your boyfriend was about to make.
Gently stroking Byeol's black fur, you cooed down at her, "Don't pay attention to your oppa and his filthy mouth, hm? Unnie will shield you from him," When the adorable creature affectionately mewed and nestled into your hands, you turned to playfully tease him, "See, she already loves me more than she loves you."
Rather than feeling envious, your boyfriend's heart swelled with warmth and love at the sight. It was at this moment that he realised you were the one he wanted to spend the rest of his life with.

Baby Steps
Yoongi x Reader
Summary: Just a soft lil blurb about Yoongi and the reader sending their child off to their first day of kindergarten/preschool
Warnings: reader is referred to as mom in Korean, not proofread
A/N: Thanks to @vicky-chaos for this request. I added your other idea about the nicknames into this one bc I thought they were cute together, I hope that’s okay!
Masterlist

“Are you sure we’re doing the right thing?”
I’m sure, Yoongi.”
“But what if it’s too soon?”
“It’s not.”
“But what if-”
“Yoongi!” You laughed. “She’ll be okay, it’s just preschool, she’ll be back home in just a few hours.”
You knew whenever Yoongi started rambling like this, it was because he was nervous.
Yoongi was always typically the voice of calmness and stability in your relationship, helping keep your own worries and fears reigned in. But he was human just the same as you, and that meant sometimes his nerves and anxieties started to get the better of him.
That tended to happen the most where your daughter was involved.
Yoongi was the most dedicated dad to your daughter, Hyein. From the moment she was born, she’d had him wrapped around her finger, doing everything he could to give her the best of everything. Anytime she cried, he was immediately by her side. When she had to have her first shots, he ended up crying more than she did, though he denied it afterwards.
Now, as he held the four year olds tiny hand as she toddled up the steps of the school building, you could see that same concerned glint in his eye.
“Are you excited to meet your new teacher?” You asked Hyein, trying to brighten the mood.
“Mhm!” She nodded, hopping up the last two steps, her backpack, which was almost bigger than her, bounced about and caught the light, reflecting the sequins that spelled out her name. It’d been a gift from her Uncle Hoseok, claiming she needed a statement piece for her school looks.
“It’s okay if you’re nervous though, baby.” Yoongi said, fixing one of her sleeves.
“I’m not nervous! I’m gonna play with Jaehyuk and Jihyo!” She replied excitedly, referring to Jin’s twin boys who were her best friends and also in her class.
“See, she’s such a brave girl.” You grinned, kneeling down to smooth her hair a bit. “Can you tell daddy that it’ll be okay?”
“Appa, don’t worry!” She cried, hugging onto his leg. “It’ll be okay!”
He chuckled. “I know, baby, you’re right.”
The last of the students were beginning to file through the doors and being guided along by the teacher’s aids to their proper rooms, giving the three of you the que that the time had come.
“Okay, Sweetie, you better go.” You said, nudging her forward. “Have fun!”
“Okay! Bye Eomma, Bye Appa!” She called, running off to join the other kids.
You watched her bound through the door and out of sight, feeling a sharp pang of pride in your chest as you watched your little girl walk away so confidently. You really admired her total lack of fear or nervousness, something you hoped she kept with her into adulthood.
You glanced over at Yoongi, noting how his eyes were lightly misted over, making your heart twist all over again, this time in sympathy.
“Come on, Ajusshi, let’s go.” You teased him quietly, intertwining your hand with his and turning back towards the car.
He let out an annoyed huff at your choice of nickname. “Hey, you’re not that much younger than me. If I’m an Ajusshi, that means you’re an Ajumma.”
“Fine with me.” You agreed easily, not quite in the mood to properly tease him.
“She’ll be back in a few hours.” He echoed your earlier words, noticing your own growing silence.
‘Yep.” You nodded.
“I still can’t believe she’s old enough for preschool.” He mused, tracing your hand as you sat together quietly in the car. “It seems like yesterday she was learning to walk.”
“I know.” You agreed.
“Next she’ll be going to grade school next, and then high school, and then college-”
“Okay, take it easy there, you’re starting to sound like an actual Ajusshi.” You laughed, poking him in the side. “Let’s just deal with one phase at a time, yeah? Baby steps.”
He nodded slowly. “Baby steps.”
“We got this.” You gave his hand a light squeeze, earning a small grin from him at last.
“Yeah, we do.” He smiled up at you. “Thank you.”
“Don’t thank me yet, you’ll have to do this same speech for me in a bit when we get home when I start really missing her.”
“I’ll try to remember all the key points.” He chuckled, starting the car.

You fall asleep on them
Stray Kids reaction
Word Count: 6.9K
This has not been edited so if there is any mistakes I'm sorryyy. Anyway I hope you enjoy reading this!
Bang Chan
Chan knew that no matter what you did you would always put 100 percent into it. You would always go above and beyond to prove to only to others but to yourself that you could, and would do it. You never gave up and always gave things a shot. Sure, sometimes things did throw you on the ground but you always, always got back up.
And that was a trait of you that Chan greatly admired.
Normally.
But there were those times that you pushed yourself beyond your limits. Running on only little to no sleep. If you consumed food at all, it was take out and even then most of it would be life to go cold, forgotten as you were too busy doing something.
You were always doing something.
Now don't get him wrong, Chan knew that he could be just as bad at taking care of himself but he knew that despite how hard you were working yourself, you always had time for Chan. To remind him that he needed to take a break, take some time for himself, to clear his mind out.
Yet, Chan never seemed to be able to do the same for you. You kept things to yourself, insisting that you didn't need someone watching over you.
Chan did not want to push you, the last thing he would ever want to do is make you upset but it was the boys saying something to him that he realised that maybe he did need to step in.
"Hyung?"
Chan looks up from where he's sitting on the couch, taking his headphones off with his laptop on his lap. "Yeah?"
The other members of Stray Kids had come over to yours and Chan's place. The plan was to have a movie night and the kids would stay over. The thing was, you still weren't home. And the boys insisted that no movie would be played until you got home.
"Do you know when noona will be back?" Felix asks.
Chan's eyebrows furrow, "what's the time?"
"It's 9:32." Minho holds up his phone with the time for everyone to see.
"I-I'm not sure, she should've already been home by now." Chan says. "I'll try calling her."
Your phone goes straight to voicemail and Chan sighs before shooting you a quick message.
Channie
Hey love, the boys are here waiting for you. It's movie night, remember? Just checking to see when you'll be home.
Love you and be safe.
"She didn't answer but I texted her, she should be here soon though." Chan says as he looks at his members. "Alright what is it?"
"Noona always takes care of us right?" Hyunjin says. "I mean, she always makes sure we're taking a break, that we're eating, and sleeping well."
Chan smiles at that, "yeah she does. She talks about the whole lot of you all the time. She really loves you all."
"We get that and we love her too. I mean don't even get me started on how many times we've all called her eomma, heck, even Minho's done it once." Jisung says which gets a laugh out of everyone and a glare from Minho. "But..."
Jisung didn't need to carry on for Chan to know what he's saying.
"I know, I worry too."
Before anyone can say anything else, the sound of the front door opening catches all of their attention. They hear you sigh before the sound of your dropping your shoes on the ground before they see you walk into the dining room when you put your bag on the table, grabbing the edge of a chair.
You're completely drenched.
You still don't seem to notice that they are all watching you and Chan goes to say something before a choked sound escapes you making him freeze, it makes them all freeze.
They all watch as you start to sob, falling to the ground holding yourself.
"Noona..." Jisung's voice rings out.
The sound makes you whip your head up and you freeze before frantically wiping the tears off your face.
"Oh my gosh, I completely forgot that it was movie night tonight. I'm so sorry, I'll go get changed then we can watch the movie." You say, trying to stand up but end up tripping over yourself. But before you could even hit the ground again, Chan was there, pulling you into his chest.
You try your best but you just end up breaking down. No longer able to hold it together anymore. Chan, holding you tightly, speaks to you quietly enough that the boys can't make out what he says before he lifts you to your feet where he leads you to your bedroom, shutting the door behind you both.
The boys don't speak as they wait and it isn't long until Chan comes back out.
"She's alright, just had a very bad day, it was just too much for her." Chan says.
"Do you, or well, does noona need us to leave? We can do movie night another night." Jeongin asks.
"No, no. She doesn't want you all to leave. I think she'd be more upset if you did." Chan answers.
"Has she eaten?" Minho speaks.
Chan shakes his head, "no, I'll go make her some food now."
Minho stands up, "it's alright hyung, I'll sort out some food. Just go be with her."
Chan hesitates, "are you sure?"
"Yeah." Minho nods, "besides, I'm sure this lot is also hungry again."
"I mean, I could eat again." Changbin raises his hand.
"Of course you can," Minho rolls his eyes, a smile on his face before turning back to Chan. "Go."
It's 30 minutes later that you finally emerge with Chan from your bedroom. You're wrapped up in some sweats and a hoodie that it way too big for you, obviously being Chan's. You look much calmer now, but your eyes show just how tired you really were.
"Noona! Come sit with us?" Felix asks as he points to the spot between him and Jisung. The boys seem to have placed a bunch of blankets around the place and have your favourite movies set up.
You look towards Chan who only gives you a smile and small nod. You walk towards the boys and sit down between them. Felix and Jisung wrapping their arms around you instantly.
You watch as Chan walks into the kitchen, soon coming out with food, followed by Minho who was carrying more food. They lay the food on the table, dishing it out for everyone. Chan hands a bowl of food to Jisung and Felix before grabbing one for you, pressing a kiss to your forehead before he sits down on a different couch with Minho.
Everyone starts digging in and you catch Minho watching you out of the corner of your eyes. He doesn't touch his food until you've eaten a couple mouthfuls before digging into his own. It bring a small smile to your face.
After the food is done and bowls have been put away the first movie is put on. You lay your head on Jisung's shoulder as Felix snuggles into your side. You get comfortable then make eye contact with Chan who was looking at you with a smile on his face.
'I love you', you mouth towards him.
'I love you more.'
The next time Chan looks over at you, you're sound asleep, Jisung and Felix too. Chan look s around the room and sees Changbin and Jeongin snuggled together sound asleep, seungmin and Hyunjin still invested in the movie.
"She's gonna be alright." Minho's words catch Chan's attention and he looks at him with a confused gaze.
"With us, I mean. We'll look after her. She's family too." Minho gesture towards you.
"I know." Chan reaches over and pulls Minho into his side, squeezing him tight. Despite the complaints coming from his mouth, Minho doesn't pull away.
Chan smiles to himself as he looks at his family around the room before his gaze rests on you.
Yeah, he thinks to himself.
Everything will be alright.
Lee Minho
It had been a couple days since you had last seen Minho, he had been busy in the studio. Learning new choreography and all that comes with being an idol, left him with little to no time to see you.
Minho had texted you a few hours before, he was supposed to come over to yours but was stuck at the studio, saying that since it'll be late once he's finished he'll just head back to the dorms.
It left you a bit worried and you decided to go over to the studio. Picking up some food along the way.
You quietly open the door, just in case Minho was practising, you didn't want to disturb him. But to your surprise, he was sitting against the wall with a towel over his face, breathing heavily.
You shut the door which catches Minho's attention but he doesn't take the towel off his face.
"Go away." Minho says.
You raise your eyebrows in amusement, obviously the boys have been in, annoying Minho and he thought you were one of the boys.
"Rude, I was bringing you some food too." You say, a smile on your face.
Minho takes the towel off his face and looks at you with surprise.
"Y/n?" Minho says.
You nod your head, "mhm, it's me and I've brought you some food. You sure you want me to go away?"
Minho just rolls his eyes at you before he stands up walking over to you where he gently grabs your waist and places a kiss on your forehead.
Minho, with his hands still on your waist, leads you over to where his stuff is and you both sit down.
You take out the food you brought and dish some out for both you and Minho.
"What are you doing here though? You should be at home." Minho asks after you've both started eating.
"Yeah, but you texted me saying you were gonna be here for the night, so I thought I'd just come and bring you some food. Possibly stay for a bit is that's okay with you?"
Minho smiles and nods his head before picking up his chopsticks and holding them out to you, "eat, you're still in your work clothes, it's obvious you came straight here from work. I'm sure you're hungry and tired as well."
Seeing you not moving, Minho nudges you. "Eat." He says, still holding the chopsticks up to you where you finally open your mouth and let him feed you.
"How was your day?" You ask sometime later after you've both finished eating and you're putting away the rubbish.
Minho just shrugs his shoulders as he watches you walk over to the bin where you chuck away the rubbish. "You?"
"It was tiring but I got quite a lot of things done that I wanted to, so I'm happy with how today went." You reply as you walk back over to Minho where you sit down next to him and lay your head on his shoulder.
"That's good," Minho grabs your hand, playing with your fingers as he speaks. "I'm happy that you're happy with how today went."
"Do you wanna talk to me about what you're working on at the moment?"
Minho starts to tell you about the new dances he was preparing for, not only for the comeback with the boys but also a personal dance too.
You try your hardest to listen to him, you really do. Everything Minho does, especially when it comes to dance, always captivates you entirely. He puts his heart and soul into what he does, it's one of the reasons you fell more and more in love with everyday that passed.
But try as you may, the comfort of your boyfriend's shoulder, the comfort of his hands playing with your fingers, the comfort of Minho's voice as he told you about all the things he was working on was just so warm and made you feel so cosy, so soft, so tired.
It isn't until Minho feels dead weight on his shoulder that he stops talking and looks down at you. You were fast asleep, a little smile on your face.
Minho reaches over to grab his hoodie that was laying on the ground and drags it over you as a makeshift blanket. He notices a bit of your hair has fallen onto your face and softly pushes it behind your ear, trying his best not to wake you.
He knows he needs to get back to practising but at this very moment, your rest, your happiness was much more important to him than dance. Because yeah, Minho loved dance, he wouldn't be who he was right now if it wasn't for dance. But Minho had been slowly coming to the realisation that perhaps he loved you even more. And as scary as that was, maybe, just maybe, that wasn't such a bad thing.
You snuggle in closer to Minho in your sleep and it brings a smile out on Minho's face.
Yeah, that wasn't a bad thing at all.
Seo Changbin
You and 3RACHA had been in the studio for the past couple of hours. It had started off with only you and Changbin, with Changbin working on music and you working on stuff of your own.
It was silent between the two of you but that silence was welcomed. It didn't matter that there was no conversation happening between the two of you because you were together, you were in the comfort of each other's presence.
"Hey babe?"
You look up from your work as Changbin calls for you, "yeah?"
"You mind if Chan hyung and Jisung stop by for a bit? I got a few things I wanna rub through with them."
A smile forms on your face, "of course I don't mind."
Changbin wheels his chair over to you, giving you a kiss before wheeling back and picking up his phone.
You carry on doing your work, getting so focused that you don't hear the door opening, nor do you head Chan and Jisung come into the room.
But hands grabbing your shoulders and someone whispering 'boo', into your ear makes your jump and scream slightly.
You see Jisung back away slowly with his hands up, all three boys chuckling at you. Turning towards Changbin you whack him softly.
"What? Why'd you hit me? Jisung scared you, not me." Changbin whines.
"Yeah but I bet it was your idea and besides, you know I can't stay mad at Jisung."
Changbin catches a proud grin of Jisung's face before turning back towards you with a pout. "But baby."
"Nah ah, you're getting no sympathy from me."
Changbin huffs and you giggle, placing a quick kiss on his cheek.
You exchange greetings with the boys before moving to the couch to give them more room to work. The chatter of the boys as they worked was a comforting background noise for you and it didn't take you love before you were finished with your work and just sat there and watched them as they did their thing.
Their way of working was harmonious. They just worked so well together and it was something that you greatly admired about 3RACHA.
Changbin eventually turns around in his seat and notices you watching them, he smiles at you before standing up and making his way over.
"You alright baby? Get your work done?" Changbin says as he sits down next to you, after which you place your head on his shoulder.
"Yeah, once I got into it I flew through it pretty quickly."
"Of course you did."
"What about you? How are things going?"
Grabbing your hand and intertwining your fingers together, Changbin answers, "pretty good actually, the track is coming along just how we want it to."
"That's not surprising though."
"No?"
"No, it's not, come on, you guys always come up with the most out of world music like it's nothing."
"We are pretty good." Changbin says, looking smug.
You just shake your head at him with a smile on your face. "Well, I was thinking..." you say turning your body so that your back is against Changbin's chest as he pulls you in tighter against him.
"Yeah?" Changbin hums.
"You have a day off this weekend right? Saturday?"
"I do."
"We should have a movie day, or like a self care day? I can order some food and we can just, I don't know, relax together?" You ask, playing with Changbin's fingers.
You feel a kiss being placed on your forehead before Changbin answers, "sounds absolutely amazing babe."
"Yeah?"
"Mhm, I honestly think that it's something that both of us deserve."
"That's true, we have been working pretty hard lately, we deserve a break."
"That we do my love." Changbin agrees with you.
The two of you converse quietly for a little while longer until your words become nonexistent. Jisung turns around in his seat after hearing your talking grow silent. it was weird, but having the two of you softly talking in the background while he worked was oddly comforting. So, not hearing your voices, he turns around to see what was up, smiling when he notices why.
"Oi, hyung." Jisung nudges Chan who takes off his headphone and turns to Jisung.
"Yeah?"
"Look." Jisung points.
Chan follows where Jisung is pointing and sees you and Changbin sound asleep on the couch, cuddled up together.
"Ahh, so that's why they stopped talking." Chan says, voicing Jisung's exact thoughts.
Jisung stands up and grabs the blanket on the side of the couch, the ones that's always kept there for the late nights the boys pull, the ones for when they inevitably fall asleep in the studio.
"Cute, aren't they?" Jisung says as he tucks the blanket over the two of you, turning around to see Chan smiling at them.
"They are, well I guess we should let them rest, we'll wake them up when we're done."
"Sounds good to me."
Hwang Hyunjin
The kids had been looking for the both of you for a little over 10 minutes now. Neither of you were answering your phones and they were starting to panic. The boys had all been sitting in the room together, you had gone off to find a bathroom but did not return back, Hyunjin went off to find you. But after 10 minutes neither of you had come back and they were panicking.
“Maybe they just got lost?” Jisung questions.
“Maybe, but then why aren’t they answering their phones?” Chan panics.
“We’ll wait here for another 10 minutes, if they still don’t return we’ll go look for them okay?” One of the Skz staff members reassures the boys.
They all nod their head as they wait, watching the clock for those 10 minutes to pass. And when those 10 minutes pass and there is no sign of either of you, they really start to freak.
“Something could have happened, we should've gone looking for them as soon as they didn't come back.” Chan paces back and forth.
“Hyung sit down,” Changbin grabs Chan, “there’s no point stressing out, the staff will find them okay?”
It’s not even 5 minutes later when a staff member walks back into the room and the boys jump to their feet.
“What happened? Did you find them? Are they okay? Where are they?” The boys ask question after question.
“We did find them and they are all right.” A fond smile makes its way to the staff’s face and he gestures for the boys to follow him.
They all follow him until the staff member stops in front of a door. “We passed by a few stylists who had asked Y/n to grab something for them in the door that was by the bathrooms.” He gestures to the bathroom which was right next door. “The only thing is, the door locks from the outside, so when she went in, she got stuck.”
“And Hyunjin?” Seungmin asks.
“Well we’re assuming that when Y/n didn’t return, when Hyunjin went to look for her he must've heard her, went inside the room the door shut behind them and they both were stuck.”
Chan shakes his head as he reaches over to grab the door and pushes it open. The door opened to reveal you and Hyunjin snuggled up on the floor, both sound asleep.
“So that’s why they weren’t answering our calls.” Minho says.
“Scared the absolute daylights out of me and this is why.” Chan smiles fondly as he looks down at the two of you before he walks into the room to wake you both up.
“Hyung? You found us?” Hyunjin wipes his eyes sleepily.
“After you both send us on a wild goose chase, yes, yes we did.” Chan says.
“We?”
You and Hyunjin look to see the rest of Stray Kids as well as a few staff members standing there and you both blush.
“Sorry, this was all my fault.” You say.
“No, it’s alright,” Chan says, holding a hand out for you to grab as he helps you stand back up on your feet. “It will be a pretty funny story to tell so we’ll forgive you, besides we didn’t freak out THAT much.”
“That isn’t true, you were the one who was freaking out the most.” Seungmin says.
“No I wasn’t.” Chan defends himself.
The rest of Stray Kids all start to argue and you and Hyunjin look at each other before bursting out with laughter.
Han Jisung
It was well past 2am and you both were still awake. Maybe it was the cold, or perhaps something else that was keeping you awake. But there was something different about being with someone, with existing with them, breathing with them, at 2 in the morning.
It was these moments that Jisung appreciated the most. Sure, it's always absolutely amazing going out and doing things with you but he loved these quiet moments when you both just had each other.
There's no one bothering him about things he needed to get finished, no dance practice, no music, no thinking.
Jisung loves what he does but sometimes he likes to switch off too and he can't argue that his members are a huge help, they've been with him through his hardest times but it was different with you.
He hadn't realised how much he craved it, how much he would miss it, until he met you.
You just came into his life in full force. If left him confused, scared, but in the end you completed him. You completed him in ways no one else could.
After a long day, it was late at night when Jisung really got to enjoy you all to himself, no distractions, just the two of you. And yes, he did have an early start tomorrow, would spend the day running on 3 hours of sleep but god were you worth it.
"Ji?"
Jisung hums softly, letting you know that he could hear you and was listening.
"How was your day?"
"My day? It was fine, I was in the studio with Channie hyung and Changbin hyung for most of it. But how was yours? Tell me all about it, yeah?"
You go into detail about your day, knowing Jisung wanted to hear every little bit that happened.
Jisung listens to every word you speak because to him, they were all important. Your entire being was so important and Jisung sometimes feels bad that he can't be there for you as much as he'd like.
So he uses these moments, he stores them away. Every little detail has a little pocket inside his brain that he stores away for when the time comes to use them again. A new restaurant here you mentioned once, or a co-worker you mentioned you didn't like. Every word you say means something to him.
"And what else baby?" Jisung pulls you in closer, gently guiding your head to his chest.
His undivided attention is always on you. Every time you open your mouth, Jisung is there to listen. He wants you to know that he cares, he cares so much for you that sometimes it seems untrue.
But his feelings for you could never be more genuine.
"Baby?" You snuggle in closer to him.
You're his person.
You will forever be his person if you'd let him.
The one he turns to when he's getting overwhelmed with life.
The one who knows what he's feeling without him ever needing to say a word.
You get him.
"Sleepy?" Jisung whispers. He feels you nod your hear against his chest. You were still telling him about your day but your words were starting to slur and it was honestly the most adorable thing Jisung had ever seen.
To be fair, everything you do Jisung thinks is cute.
Jisung can no longer hear you voice, instead all he hears is your breathing. Placing a kiss on your forehead, Jisung wraps the blankets around the two of you tighter, before closing his own eyes.
He loved you so much more than he's ever loved anything else. And Jisung hopes that you will never forget that.
Lee Felix
“Movie night!” You say as you jump onto the couch next to Felix.
Felix laughs as he wraps his arm around your waist.
“I’ve been looking forward to this since we started to plan it.” You say as you lay your head on his shoulder.
“Me too love, I’ve very much been waiting for this day.” Felix replies back.
You and Felix had both been very busy that past few weeks so one night while you both were laying in bed you discussed spending some time together.
You both made sure that you would have tonight to just spend with each other, no distractions, no work, no nothing, just the two of you.
You had decided on doing a movie night, earlier on today you had gone out to get some snacks for the two of you to eat and had everything set up so that when Felix returned home, all he had to do was shower and get changed into some comfortable clothing.
Which is exactly where the both of you were right now.
“So, should I start the first movie?” You reach forward as Felix nods his head to start the first movie. You both had previously picked out some movies you wanted to watch so that it would make things easier for you now. You had the movies lined up that you wanted to watch and all you had to do was play them.
After the first movie is finished you both decide to get some food, deciding on ordering some takeout. You start the second movie as you wait for the food to arrive and when it does Felix hops up as you pause the movie.
“I’ll grab it love.”
You smile at Felix and nod your head, waiting for him to return with the food and when he does you wiggle slightly in your seat with excitement causing Felix to laugh.
“You’re so cute, baby.” Felix says as he dumps the food on the table in front of you both.
“Says you, the cutest thing to ever exist.”
“Thing? So I’m a ‘thing’ now?”
You roll your eyes with a smile on your face, “oh you know what I mean.”
“No, I don’t think I do.”
You look over at him with a raised brow before turning towards the food. But before you could grab anything, Felix grabs your wrist.
“Ignoring me now huh?”
You still don’t look towards him, biting down on your lip to stop from smiling. You feel Felix’s fingers wander down to your waist and your head snaps towards him.
“Don’t you dare-” your words are cut off by Felix tickling you, knocking you on your back as he hovers over you.
You’re overcome with giggles as you try to fight Felix off you.
“Lixie!” You plead.
“What was that? I couldn’t hear you.” Felix says with a smirk on his face.
“Stop! Please!” You say between giggles.
“Hmm, I guess I’ve punished you enough.” Felix says as he stops what he’s doing before leaning down to place a kiss on your lips. You wrap your arms around his neck and once you’ve broken free from your kiss, he pulls you back up so that you’re sitting.
“Let me get you your food.” Felix breaks away from you as he reaches into the bags of food in front of you both. “I’m sure you’re hungry.”
“I am very hungry.”
“I know, I can hear your stomach.” Felik pokes at your stomach causing you to squeal before handing you your food.
“Thanks Lixie.”
“No worries at all babe. Now let's eat and watch our movie.”
About 2 movies later, Felix looks over to find you asleep on his shoulder. You’ve got a bowl of popcorn on your lap and some hanging in your hair.
A fond smile makes its way to his face as he looks down at you, picking the popcorn out of your hair and grabbing the bowl off your lap, placing it on the table.
God he was so in love with you that it hurt sometimes, but he wouldn’t ever replace this feeling with anything in this entire world.
Kim Seungmin
Seungmin had said he would be home at about 8, you told him that you would wait up for him.
It's now just before 10 and he's still not home. You had texted him and was slightly worried. The logical part of you just assumed that practice went later than expected and he was held back, not able to go on his phone. The other part of you worried that something had happened to him.
It was not long after 10 that you received a call, expecting it to be Seungmin you rushed to your phone, only to see that it wasn't Seungmin calling you but Jeongin
"Jeongin? What's up?" You ask as you answer the phone.
"Y/n, I um...I'm sorry if I woke you."
"No, you're fine. I was up waiting for Seungmin. He said he would be home around 8 and it's 10 so I'm assuming that practice went late?"
"I..I don't. Seungmin he.."
"Jeongin? What happened? Are you alright?"
"Yeah, no yeah I'm alright, it's just that..."
You could hear Jeongin's voice start to break and you can tell that he's on the verge of tears.
"Hey, why don't you give the phone to one of your hyungs, yeah? Are they there with you?"
"Yeah."
"Alright let me speak with one of them okay?"
The line goes quiet before a new voice speaks.
"Y/n..."
"Jisung? What happened?"
"It's Seungmin."
You feel your heart drop into your stomach. "What happened Ji?"
"He..I don't know what happened, it all happened so fast. But he just, I don't know, he just collapsed at practice. He had such a high fever so we just rushed him into the hospital. We haven't heard much, but we know he's still not awake."
"Where are you?"
Jisung tells you the hospital they were at and you quickly say goodbye before hanging up. You don't even throw on a jacket, just grab your shoes, your wallet and keys then leave the house.
Following behind a manager who had come to collect you, you walked down a corridor were you spotted the rest of Stray Kids and ran over to them.
"What happened?" You ask panicking as you look around at the members.
“We were practising and Seugmin just collapsed, so we rushed him straight to the hospital. All we’ve heard so far was that he was severely dehydrated.” Chan explains.
You bring a hand up to your face as you feel tears well in your eyes, you feel a hand on your shoulder before you’re pulled into someone's arms. You look up to see Jeongin and notice that he’s also got tears in his eyes.
“It’s okay,” you whisper to him as you wipe his tears away. “He’ll be alright.”
“I don’t know, I just-I feel like I should have noticed it you know?” Jeongin squeezes his eyes shut.
“No, we are not doing this.”
“Doing what?”
“The blame game, none of this is anyone's fault you hear me? Seungmin would hate to hear you blame yourself like this, okay?”
Jeongin nods his head and tries to smile, giving up half way when he realises it was too difficult.
“Has anyone eaten?” You look around at the boys and watch as they all shake their heads.
“Okay, I’m gonna…I’ll go and get you all some food alright?” You say.
“No, it’s okay Y/n, you don’t have to.” Chan shakes his head.
“Really it’s fine, you all need to eat.”
“But-”
“Please Chan,” you close your eyes and take a shaky breath before continuing, “let me do this okay?”
Chan grasps your hand and softly nods his head, “okay.”
While you’re out getting food for the boys you receive a text message from Chan who explained that he doctor had been there to see them and gave you a bit of an update on Seungmin. Basically he had been neglecting his own needs and overworked himself, explaining why he had fainted. The doctors wished to keep Seungmin overnight but said that it was nothing serious, he just needed some fluids and a good rest.
“Okay, so I got a bunch of things, I probably went a bit overboard but I’m sure you all will eat it anyway.” You say as you walk into the room the boys were in with Seungmin, holding bags of food.
Minho and Changbin rush over to you and take the bags from you, you smile at them before your eyes catch Seungmin’s.
You watch as the boys all dig into their food before walking over to Seungmin’s bedside.
“Before you say anything,” Seungmin says, grabbing your hand, “I’m alright.”
You bite your lip as you stare down at him, Seungmin reaches up and with his finger pulls your lip out from your teeth. “Y/n?”
“Yeah?” You grasp his hand tighter.
“Lay with me?”
You don’t say anything but instead lay with Seungmin on his hospital bed, sure it wasn’t the most comfortable thing in the world but it was what you both needed at that very moment so neither of you really cared.
You feel Seungmin’s hands playing with your hair and you grip onto him tighter with your hands, it felt as if you let go, Seungmin would disappear from you and you weren’t going to let that happen, not yet.
It isn’t until Seungmin feels your grip go lack that he looks down at you and sees you sound asleep on his chest. Seungmin places a kiss on your forehead before leaning his head on yours.
“Hyung?” Seungmin calls out, getting the attention of everyone in the room, even Jeongin who wasn’t Seungmin’s hyung.
“Yeah?” Chan is the one to speak.
“I know you all have to leave soon.” Seungmin says.
“Yeah we do,” Chan nods his head.
“But we’ll be back first thing tomorrow.” Jeongin exclaims.
“Yeah I’m sure you will be, but I just want you all to do something for me yeah?” Seungmin asks.
“Of course Seung, anything.” Chan leans forward in his seat, encouraging Seungmin to speak.
“Her,” Seungmin gestures down to you with his head. “Take her home with you please, don’t let her go back to her place. She can stay in my room but I don’t want her to be alone for the night. I can’t imagine receiving that call when I was in the hospital. It must not have been easy for her.”
“Of course Seung, we’ll take care of her, but you should worry more about yourself at this moment, okay? Getting better yourself.” Chan says.
Seungmin shakes his head, looks down at you. “I could tell you that I would but that would be a lie. My priority will always be her. She does so much for me and it always feels like I never have any time for her and I hate it. Don’t get me wrong I love being an idol, I love you all and I love Stay but sometimes I think about the days when we’re older and it’s just the two of us that’s left, no more work, no more anything, just us.”
“I’m going to marry her.” Seungmin looks up at the rest, “this is just the beginning for the both of us.”
“I don’t think any of us has ever doubted that.” Jeongin gently nudges Seungmin from where he was sitting beside him.
Chan stands up and gestures to the mess from the dinner, “well we should clean this up and head on home to get some rest, I have a feeling we’ll be back bright and early so some rest for all of us will do some good.”
The kids all start to pack up as Seungmin gets to waking you up and enough everyone has left the room and you’re standing by the door.
“I love you.” You say.
“I love you too.”
You blow a kiss to Seungmin who reaches out to grab it, pulling it towards his heart where he lays his hand.
“We’ll be back before you know it, as soon as we’re allowed back in, I’m going to be waiting right outside this door.” You say, a determined look on your face.
Seungmin smiles at you as you blow him one more kiss before disappearing behind the door, “I know you will.”
Yang Jeongin
Jeongin tried to be as quiet as possible, shutting the door behind him with care and slipping his shoes off silently. Tiptoeing into the hall, he frowns when he hears the tv playing, he’d hoped you would be asleep by now, not waiting up for him.
Dumping his stuff on the kitchen table, Jeongin walks into the lounge. Jeongin pauses in his steps when he sees you, a sleepy smile makes its way onto his face as he rounds the couch. Sitting on the ground by the couch, Jeongin reaches forward and brushes a few strands of hair out of your face before leaning forward and placing a soft kiss on your forehead.
You’d obviously fallen asleep with the tv on, a blanket wrapped tight around you and there were snacks on the table in front of the couch. He could tell, from the look of things, that you had not meant to fall asleep and that makes Jeongin smile even more. God were you adorable.
Standing up, Jeongin turns around and turns the tv off, looking back at you once again before picking up the leftover snacks and taking them into the kitchen. Once he’s disposed of the snacks, Jeongin heads into the bathroom where he gets himself ready for bed. Showering off the day's work away, doing his skincare before getting changed into some sweats and an old tshirt.
Jeongin walks back out into the kitchen where he opens up the fridge, food from the dinner you had cooked in there and he takes them out, heating them up. He tries to be as quiet as possible as he sits down at the table to eat, not wanting to wake you up just yet.
As he scrolls through his phone, Jeongin eats the food you made and it isn’t long until he’s eaten it all and he’s washing away his dirty dishes.
Once he’s finished there, Jeongin then walks back into the lounge and over to you, who still sleeping. Bending down so that he’s level with you, Jeongin very gently rubs his hand along your cheek.
“Baby,” he whispers a few times, watching as your eyes slowly flutter open.
“Jeongin?” You sleepily ask while rubbing your eyes.
“Yeah babe, it’s me,” Jeongin smiles as he helps you sit up.
“What time is it?”
“A little after 11.”
“Oh, I was watching a movie, didn’t realise I would fall asleep.”
“It’s alright babe, let’s head to bed now yeah?” Jeongin holds his hand out.
“Wait, have you eaten yet?”
“Yeah, I ate and showered, let you sleep so that when I woke you up we could go to bed together.”
You smile up at him as you grab his hand and he pulls you up. Following behind Jeongin as he leads you into your bedroom, you flop onto your bed under the covers as soon as you reach the room.
“Sleepy baby?” Jeongin laughs quietly as he watches you snuggle under the covers, only your head peeking out.
“Mhm, ‘m sleepy.” You mumble out, your eyes falling shut.
Jeongin climbs on to the other side of the bed and pulls you into him, laying your head on his chest as your legs tangled together under the sheets.
“Did you have a good day?” Your voice is muffled but he understands what you’re trying to say.
“Yeah baby, I did, did you?” Jeongin traces invisible lines on your back and he feels you nod your head against his chest. “That’s good.”
It’s not too long after that Jeongin feels you relax completely against him, no longer conscious of the world around you and it makes him pull you in tighter as he plants a kiss on your head. “I love you.” He whispers before closing his eyes himself, letting sleep overtake him.

Wooyoung Masterlist | ATEEZ Masterlist
Walking back into her small living room, Y/N is met with silence. The babbling sounds of her 15-month-old baby girl, who usually keeps herself entertained with her toys in her play pen while Y/N does the housework, has gone quiet. Assuming her little one might have fallen asleep, she peeks into the playpen only to discover that her daughter is missing.
Panic sets in as Y/N searches every corner of the apartment, trying to convince that her baby isn’t capable of climbing out on her own yet. Her eyes dart to the entrance, where she notices the stroller and the diaper bag are missing. Relief washes over her and is quickly replaced with annoyance as she picks up the phone and calls the only person brave and sneaky enough to kidnap her baby in broad daylight.
He quickly answers but before he can start his yapping, Y/N yells at him. “Yah! Jung Wooyoung! You better bring my baby back right now.”
“No,” he says defiantly. “You’ve been under a lot of stress lately with finding a new job, the divorce and your soon to be ex-husband being a total asshole. She’s coming with me to the studio while you have a few hours to yourself," he insists. "Don’t worry; she’ll be safe and sound. You know everyone here loves her.”
Y/N can almost hear the smirk in his voice, and it only fuels her irritation further. “You can’t just take her without asking me first! What if something happens? What if she gets scared?”
“Y/N,” he interrupts, his voice firm yet gentle, “You know I won't let anything happen to her. I protect her as if she's my own."
"Fine, but if you pull a stunt like this again, you'll never see her again," she warns her best friend. "You got that? I'll make Yeonjun her godfather. You’ll be no one to her."
"You really trust Yeonjun with Hannie?" he asks, skeptically.
"He wouldn't kidnap her without me knowing," she defends their mutual friend.
Wooyoung chuckles on the other end of the call, the sound brings some comfort to her. “You know, I think you’re just jealous because I didn’t kidnap you for the day too. Stop with the housework and enjoy this time to yourself. Take a walk, go get some lunch, do a little shopping.”
Y/N sighs, her shoulders slumping as she leans against the kitchen counter. The weight of her responsibilities presses down on her. Never did she think she would be jobless, almost divorced and a single mother. But four months ago, everything came crashing down. Her husband’s mistress turned up at their door, crying and pregnant. She left, losing her job in the process, and moved in with her mother who’s been helping support her and Hannie while she finds a new job so she can get an apartment. But finding a job was proving harder than she expected. She’s seriously considering the job her mum offered her at the small restaurant she owns.
Y/N feels a twinge of guilt for wanting a moment to herself. “I know, but she’s my baby. I can’t help but worry.”
“Worrying is part of being a mother, but you also need to take care of yourself,” Wooyoung replies, his voice softening.
Y/N bites her lip, contemplating his words. He’s right, of course. The past few months have been a whirlwind of stress, and she hasn’t had a moment to breathe. “Okay, but I want updates and photos. Text me every hour, or I swear I’ll come down to that studio and take her back myself.”
"I promise to send you plenty of pictures," he assures her. "Hannie, say see you later, eomma," he adds, moving the phone closer to Hannie.
Hannie babbles into the phone until a clear word breaks through. "Appa!"
Y/N’s eyes widen with shock. Hannie just said her first word. Her heart swells with a mix of pride and disbelief. “Did she just say ‘Appa’?” Y/N asks, her voice barely above a whisper, as if she’s afraid to break the special moment.
"I've been trying to get her to say eomma," Wooyoung admits after putting his phone on speaker, disbelief and pride in his voice also. He quickly ends the call and calls her back on video call.
She quickly answers and the first thing to pop up on her phone screen is her little girl, her bright eyes sparkling with innocence and joy as she looks past the phone at wooyoung. She’s always imagined the day her daughter would speak her first word, and now it was directed at someone else. Someone that wants nothing to do with her. The reality of her situation hits her like a wave, and she feels a lump form in her throat.
“Appa,” Hannie keeps saying, her tiny voice filled with joy as she looks up at Wooyoung, her little hands reaching out wanting him to pick her up. "Look, Hannie, it's eomma," Wooyoung says, turning the phone to show Hannie her mother on the screen. For a brief moment, she captures the baby's attention, and Y/N can see the flicker of recognition in her daughter’s eyes. "Can you say eomma?" he playfully encourages, trying to elicit another word from his goddaughter.
Hannie giggles, her focus shifting back to him, her laughter like music that fills the room. "Appa!" she exclaims again.
"I think she's calling you Appa," Y/N says, the realization dawning on her. When she thinks about it, Wooyoung has present in Hannie's life more than her own father. Especially since Y/N and her ex-husband ended their relationship. Hannie's father hasn't had anything to do with her since.
"Me?" he asks surprised, turning the phone camera back to him. "Why would she call me Appa?" he questions not really thinking about it.
"Maybe she sees me as a father figure," Y/N tries to convince herself, but deep down, she knows that Hannie is forming connections, and Wooyoung is a significant part of her life.
"I mean, I’ve been around a lot since you and—" He stops himself, the mention of her ex-husband hanging in the air.
Y/N swallows hard, the lump in her throat growing. "You have been," she admits, her voice growing softer as she thinks about it. "You’ve been a great, Wooyoung. I don’t know what I would do without you."
He smiles, but it’s tinged with something more serious. "I just want to be there for both of you. You know that, right? You and Hannie mean the world to me."
"And you mean the world to us," she replies with a warm smile, her heart swelling with affection. In that moment, she realizes that there could be something more between her, her daughter and her best friend. Wooyoung has stepped into a role that neither of them expected, but it feels right.
"I don't think this is a conversation that should be spoken about over the phone," he says after a moment of silence. "I'll bring Hannie home now and we can talk more."
She nods, a small smile playing on her lips and ends the call. She rushes around the room, picking up toys and putting away the play pen. anticipating Wooyoung and Hannie's return home.

Ok so Chan with Family #7 IMAGINE HE FOUNDS OUT HIS DAUGHTER IS DATING A YOUNG TRAINEE WHO SHE FIRST MET AT THE JYP BUILDING WHEN SHE USED TO GO BRING LUNCH FOR CHAN AND HER UNCLES OR JUST TO HANGOUT AND STARTED TO
or like maybe another member 's Son???
Family Prompt #7 : His Reaction to your Daughter 'Dating' - Bang Chan
"Saw Jaewon with a boy the other day. Overheard her say it was a date."
Seungmin's bold statement causes Chan's head to whip around almost 180. His daughter, now 8 years old, sits on the couch in the rehearsal room with her legs swinging and Changbin at her side holding two SKZoo dolls. She stares over at her father as his eyes narrow in accusation. "You were with a boy?"
Jaewon is quick to shake her head. "I've only been with -- with," she points at a few of the men in the room, "Uncle Minho and Uncle In!"
Chan's eyes snap to the two mentioned. Minho just shrugs while Jeongin lifts his hands in surrender. "I don't know anything about it! I took her out to lunch the other day but that's it..!"
His gaze redirects back to his daughter, her legs still swinging out from the couch. Changbin had set the dolls down nearby, hands sliding over his thighs slowly as if suddenly... caught red-handed doing something he shouldn't..? "What was his name?"
His daughter's hands twist in her lap, still trying to cover her little lie. "Just a friend, I don't-... I don't remember his name." A pout settles on her lips and Chan has to fight not to fall for it and give in.
"You don't remember your friend's name?" Chan cocks a brow at his daughter that makes her stifle a giggle.
"It was Jisoo."
Changbin takes the Leebit doll from the couch and chucks it hard at Seungmin who rats out his son. "You traitor!" He calls, standing from the couch to dramatically point at the younger man now laughing.
"You were on a date with Jisoo?!" Chan gasps, eyes locked onto the little girl. Her cheeks bloomed red in embarrassment and being caught hanging out with Changbin's son who was only a year older than herself. Her eyes dart to you, sitting against the rehearsal room's large wall mirror.
"Eomma.."
Chan's eyes follow in a quick snap. "You! You knew about this, didn't you?!"
And you laugh, the sound bellowing in the room. The others had joined in on the giggling, including your daughter, her nerves completely gone at seeing you smile. And the way Chan crawls to you, taking your hands and shaking them dramatically. "She's too young to go on dates! Why did you let her?!"
"She asked to go out for ice cream and then asked if Jisoo could come with, Chris! It's not that big of a deal.~"
"It is! She's my baby! She can't be near boys! Boys have cooties!" He continues wailing, frantic about shaking you gently by the shoulders.
You laugh out, gently shoving him back. "You're a boy, Chris."
He pauses to think, then slowly turns to look at his daughter still giggling on the sofa. "You're right." And when he stands to stalk towards her, her giggles turn from giggles into full blown laughter.
Which starts the scene of your daughter running around the practice room to avoid her father and seven uncles stalking towards her like zombies, murmuring about how boys have cooties and how when they get her she'll have cooties, too.
She runs to you for protection, dropping into your lap and screaming out in laughter. When your arms wrap around her, she giggles into your chest and tucks closer. "Don't worry, baby! I'll protect you from the cootie monsters!"
Chan drops to his knees near you and leans in to press a kiss to his daughter's cheek as she squeals with giggles, squirming in your lap. He grins against her dimpled skin before pulling her into his own lap, hugging her tight while she laughs. "There. Now you have cooties from your dad, so you can tell Jisoo to stay away forever cause you already have them and don't need them from him."
Changbin huffs nearby, chuckling. "So our kids can't hang out anymore?"
"Not 'til they're eighteen." Chan hums, eyes closing contentedly as the others laugh in the background.

Hard Luck - JJK & KTH (18+) - Chapter 1
◆ Pairing: CEO Jungkook X Fem employee Reader X Legal advisor Taehyung.
◆ Summary: You have a good face, a nice body, a fat amount saved in your secondary bank account, a stable job that you love, loving friends and family, you are good in bed. You have almost everything other than a good luck in love. Sleeping around with random dudes don’t feel enough when your friends are getting married and having kids. If you are being honest, you have started getting bored of this prolonged singlehood already.

You have a very love-hate relationship with weekends.
Love because who the hell doesn’t like free times, no rush to drive to work, a quiet time on their couch with some unhealthy snacks and a good movie playing on the TV?
Hate because weekends make you feel alone. Today is just a copy of yesterday.
On most Friday nights you end up going drinking with your teammates, save your Saturdays for your friends and your precious Sundays are for yourself and yourself only.
But lately, your said friends have changed, not by choice but by circumstances. Two of them are married, one is engaged and another just started dating after a prolonged singlehood - leaving you completely out of the order. Now they name most of their Saturdays to their partners, which makes you angry but you know that’s the only normal thing to do.
So, now you are the one that neither has a partner and nor anyone to spend most of your Saturdays with.
You sigh as you scroll through netflix.
There is nothing that catches your eyes, intrigues you enough to start watching.
Just when you are about to read the description of this new cheesy romcom, your phone vibrates with a call.
It’s your mom - she calls you ten times a day.
“Hmmm?” you greet her absent-mindedly.
“Mia just gave birth to a baby boy!!!” she squeals on the other side of the phone. You can feel her excitement through the vibration of her digitized voice.
The news lights you up as well. Mia is your favorite cousin and older than you by a year only.
“Really? Woah! Is the baby fine? Is she fine?”
“Both of them are fine, ddal.” Your mother, now, replies calmly, “it’s only me who is not.”
“What? What happened? Joint-pain again?” you sit up on the couch.
“No. That's not it.” your mother whines. You love to hear her whines.
“Then?”
“When will I have my grandchild?” she huffs, making you laugh.
“Eomma, I’m only 27.” you remind her.
“That’s why I am reminding you, darling. If you start looking for a man now, you will be able to gift me a grandchild before I hit seventy.”
The mention of a ‘man’ draws a very particular face on your vision.
You know you should not think too much, read too much into someone’s actions. But at this age, when you already started feeling alone, feeling the desire for someone to come back home to, you can’t help but to feel the need of holding the next best person who shows you a silver of interest.
And Taehyung has shown a lot of it.
You will win in life if you manage to bag someone as nice, hot, handsome and successful as him.
“Maybe… maybe very soon, eomma.” you add a trail of words to end your thoughts.
“Omo! Really? Are you seeing someone?” she’s now way too much excited and her excitement makes you want more from the guy who only fucked you twice.
“No- it’s not that. I am just talking about the possibilities.” your voice sounds frail for some reason. Possibility is what it is. Nothing is confirmed.
You know you have a crush on Taehyung but at the same time you have no idea if there is more than just lust in his mind.
You try not to think of negative things and engage your mother in off-topic conversations. But in the back of your mind, Taehyung stays still, with his baritone voice and boxy smile.
“Good morning, sweetheart” Hani, the colleague you are the closest to, chirps in with her sweet voice.
She is the epitome of perfection.
The girl looks like a goddess, very friendly, the life of the party, smiles at everyone - doesn’t really matter if she knows them or not, is an amazing cook, and good at the job she does.
Her amazing persona accompanied by that next level face card, makes her the most desired woman of the company.
There is hardly any bachelor who hasn’t asked her out yet. And Taehyung is one of them (which makes you think that he must be into you).
Sometimes you are jealous of her - okay! Scratch that! Most of the time you are jealous of her ability to make friends, to have people wrapped around her fingers without having to do anything while you practically have to beg your own friends to spend their weekends with you.
And being asked out? That’s a completely different story.
What you have understood from your experience is that guys love to have you on their bed. You are a good fuck, you know that. But a wife material? No.
You are way too aloof, emotionally unattached to entertain anyone more than normal boundaries allow you to. Hence, you end up pushing people away.
And now - at an age where you should be in a long term relationship - you are alone.
“Good morning, Hani.” you reply with a genuine smile gracing your lips. Honestly, very few people can pull a genuine smile out of you and Hani is certainly one of them.
Had it been anyone else as popular as her, they would have a big fat ego. But Hani is different and that’s why you love her.
“How was the weekend?” she asks, placing her order for her usual iced americano. You still don’t understand how people consume this as the first thing in the morning. It’s nothing but cold and bitter.
You grab your iced vanilla latte and take a mouth full of the sweetness, “as usual. Boring. Only me and my couch and netflix”
“Oh? You could have called me in. I was mostly alone too.” she sips her aa-aa, and makes a delightful face. You scrunch your nose at that.
“Really? I thought you do those volunteering stuff on weekends?” you two walk towards the elevator while sipping on your beverages.
“That’s for day-time. I am usually free during the nights. So, try calling me if you need a companion.” she eyes you expectantly.
You know she feels alone too, just like you.
Hani came out of her two year long relationship just a few months ago. She probably feels alone during her free time as her partner is not there to entertain her anymore.
And maybe it’s a good idea.
Even though you don’t like to extend your professional relationships beyond the gates of your workplace - Hani can be different.
You can take this friendship a little further, you guess.
The elevator door slides open, revealing a certain someone you look for a lot these days.
Taehyung smiles brightly at you. Two strands of his dark hair fall on his forehead, his siren eyes are full of mirth as they quickly dip down to check you out. But then his eyes fall on Hani. And if you are not wrong then they have a brief eye-contact before someone behind asks you and your friend to get inside and make space already.
An odd feeling blooms inside your chest.
Taehyung checked you out, that’s for sure. But what were those love eyes that he regarded Hani with? Did he just fall in love at first sight or something of that sort?
You settle inside the dingy space of the elevator rather uncomfortably - both physically and metaphorically.
Hani is standing in front of you and Taehyung is just behind your back. You are sandwiched between the two of them and weirdly enough - you don’t feel too good about the situation. Because you can see Taehyung staring at Hani through the glazed metal door or the elevator. Something churns inside of you at the thought of Taehyung being smitten by your work best friend.
But maybe you are thinking too much? Maybe time will soon prove you wrong.
Wrong. Everything is wrong.
Your teammates do an impressive job everyday except for the days when there is an important meeting and you need documented reports.
Today is one of those days. And today is even more horrifying because this will be your very first meeting with the new CEO who took over less than a month ago.
Streets say he is as strict as his father if not more. That’s basically all you know about Jeon Jungkook. You don’t know what he looks like or what he sounds like. And that makes you anxious.
The prospect of having an one-on-one meeting with the new, young CEO has been freaking you out already and now your subordinate had to do a sloppy reporting job.
“Oh lord! Sooho! Why did you write ‘no penetration this month’ when the chart is at its peak?” You don’t like to scream at all but the migraine that is climbing up through the path of your neck mixes with your frustration and turns your sentence a little more high pitched than what you usually use.
“Oh?” your teammate blinks at you being dumbfounded, “is that called penetration?”
“Yes of course? What did you think? We are asking about your sex life in the reports?” you can’t help but mock the boy.
Laughter echoes through your workspace but it quickly dies down when you glare at your teammates. They mumble apologies but you pretend not to hear any of it.
“Sorry, seonbae. I will fix it right away.” he runs towards his cubicle.
“You have five minutes.” you issue a warning. Taking your phone in your hands, you find a text sitting on your screen.
Taetae: Any plans tonight?
Your chest heaves with the long breath that you inhale upon reading the text. See… Taehyung still wants to see you! It’s you he wants to see! And you went on an overdrive thinking he might ditch you now and start chasing Hani like the other men of the office.
Your nails clink against your phone screen as you type your reply.
You: nope.
You don’t even get the chance of putting down your phone because his reply comes right away.
Taetae: Then let's get a coffee after work. I will wait at the lounge.
You: Sounds cool.
You don’t know what you feel about this one-on-one meeting situation.
The previous CEO, Mr. Jeon Jae Gyeong, had meetings with all of the department heads at once and got done with it.
But the younger Mr. Jeon has sent out emails to everyone stating very clearly that he would be changing the meeting format.
So, now you are here. Waiting outside his massive office (that could fit your entire workspace and still leave space for a snack pantry), on the verge of an anxiety attack.
The more you wait, the more restless you feel. Your heels start tapping against the floor creating a rapid sound. The CEO’s assistant, a beautiful guy with blonde hair and soft features, looks at you with an assuring smile - as if to tell you that ‘it’s okay. Don’t get your nerves worked up.’
you smile back at him feeling a tiny bit better.
Just then the huge door of the CEO’s office slides open. The head of the finance team walks out and from the look on his face you can tell that his meeting didn’t go too well.
Your throat dries at the assumption of what you might face when you go inside.
You are not going to get fired, right? Right?!
Mr. Bae, the finance head, walks out in haste heightening your anxiety even more.
Just then the assistant receives a call on his line and murmurs something. He looks at you and says, “you may go inside now.”
Your legs almost give out. You start planning to go home and update your resume to look for opportunities.
Taking a long breath, you push the door open.
Your eyes fall on the prominent figure that is sitting on the large mahogany table. His eyes are focused on the ipad. Mouth shut tight, lips pursed, his downturned face is casted with a shadow, which prevents you from taking a good look at his face.
What you see is the silver ring that glints on his eyebrow. And are those tattoos on his hand?
Even if he heard you coming in he clearly didn’t plan on providing you with any of his attention.
“May I come in, Mr. Jeon?” you curse at the way there is zero confidence in your voice.
He then looks up at you and locks his eyes with yours.
Holy shit! He is handsome!
Your chest heaves with another long breath.
You wait for him to call you inside but he just sits still staring at you with big doe eyes. His gaze is piercing, intimidating and makes you weak on your knees.
His Adam's apple bobs as he gulps once before clearing his throat, “Miss Y/N. Please come in.”
You take careful steps towards his desk praying that you don’t trip and embarrass yourself. He ushers his hand towards the chair, asking you to take a seat voicelessly.
You do as he asks.
“How are you doing, Miss Y/N?” Jeon Jungkook asks without diverting his piercing gaze from yours.
He is looking at you so intently as if he has known you for a long time.
You give him an easy smile, “I’m doing fine, Mr.Jeon. What about you?” you return his courtesy.
“Doing great.” Jeon Jungkook gives you a very pretty, heart fluttering kind of smile.
If your heart really flutters a little - you are not going to dwell upon it.
“So, let’s talk about work.” he hums as he dives into his laptop and probably opens the reports you have mailed him earlier.
Taking a minute to check all the reports, he opens his mouth to speak, “pretty impressive. I have gone through the reports from previous months as well and as I am seeing this month's reports - you have been bringing great results. Online traffic is at an all-time high, ad-clicks have gone past the five million mark, there are an average of 20 real-time users and at least 5 of them are from the states. Great. I must say” he pauses to look at you, “I am very impressed.” The last part of his sentence comes out breezy, a little bit suggestive as if his words are not only about your work.
Your stomach feels light.
“Thank you sir.” that’s all you manage to reply. Absent-mindedly you take your lower-lip in between your teeth and nip on it.
The action catches Jungkook’s eyes.
“Are you nervous?” he places a very unexpected question, catching you off-guard.
“Ah- yeah. I mean, It’s my very first encounter with you as the CEO, so I could not help being a bit anxious. Apologies if my actions have disappointed you in any way.” you straighten your back and speak confidently this time.
He doesn’t seem rude at all. You allow yourself to feel at ease.
“Don’t worry about that. I get you. But be assured I am not going to eat you up.” he giggles. His giggle makes you break into a smile as well.
“That’s all for the day. Looking forward to working with you…” Jungkook extends his hand towards you. You wrap your smaller one around his palm and he mutters, “...closely.”
When you look into his eyes, you see mischief.
“Sure.” you reply, sucking in all the air you could.
By the time you come out of his room, your heart is thumping inside your ears.
What the fuck was that? How is he so handsome? And what were those eyes he looked at you with? Why did he murmur ‘closely’ like that?
No! You are overthinking again! You scold yourself.
The assistant gives you another smile as you bow at him a little and walk away. You find Hani waiting to be called inside.
When she sees you, she approaches you with a nervous grin, “how is the new CEO?” she whisper-yells.
“Very nice and handsome.” you whisper back. She makes an “O” with her mouth before she gets called inside.
You check your lips once more in the mirror.
Being too focused on perfecting your lip liner, you don’t see Hani coming inside the washroom. You only become attentive of her presence when she smacks your ass.
“Ouch!” a painful groan leaves your lips, “don’t do this! People might think we are dating!”
“I’d have totally dated you if I wasn’t straight.” Hani chuckles standing beside you, “what’s the occasion tho? Have a date or something?”
“Nope. Gonna meet Taehyung for a quick coffee.”
Hani’s eyes wide at that, “Taehyung? As in Kim Taehyung from the legal team?”
“Yup.”
“Ohh hooo” she sings “I didn’t know you guys have coffees with each other, huh?”
“It’s not what you think, Hani.” you look at her, raising a brow.
“Oh? Really? But I think he is a good guy. He even greeted me when we met during lunch and I’m sure he didn’t even know me before this morning.”
Huh? Taehyung greeted Hani? That’s weird. Because he hardly ever smiles at people he doesn’t know properly.
You don’t let your expression give away your thoughts when you murmur a little ‘yeah’ to your friend.
Teahyung looks like a painting - or better - a sculpture as he sits there facing the huge window of the lounge.
He is devastatingly handsome. A smile creeps up to your lips without you realizing so.
This time you walk confidently, marching towards him as if you own it all. The sound of your heels against the floor makes him face you and look up at you.
“Hey” he greets you as you sit down across from him.
“Hi” you greet back, waving your hand to a waiter.
“How was the day?” Taehyung asks, once you are done placing your order.
“Nerve-wracking. I almost fainted before the one-on-one meeting.” you recall the incidents, then the man.
Jeon Jungkook’s handsome face flashes before your eyes for a second.
Taehyung chuckles at your answer, “I know. Jungkook can be really intimidating.”
You pout, “oh? You’re talking as if you know him personally?”
“Actually yes. We are not at all close and probably talked a few times but we share the same group of friends.”
Your eyebrows shoot towards your hairline at the information, “Really? That’s great. It would have been easy for you to face him then.”
“Oh god! Not at all! He had me pinned at my seat for the entire meeting. All serious expressions and no smile.” Taehyung grimaces at the memory.
“He smiled at me though. Actually… giggled. He was super nice.” you start recalling the encounter again.
“He must have really liked you.” Taehyung muses.
Is he jealous? You ask yourself. Even though Teahyung sounds anything but envious.
“By the way, Y/N. I asked you to meet today for a selfish reason.” he smiles sheepishly.
“What is it?” you ask sipping your coffee that just arrived.
“Are you close to Hani?”
As soon as the words leave Taehyung's lips, your world stops moving. You know what is about to come and it breaks your heart but you are determined not to show it on your face.
“Yeah. why?” you manage to voice upon gulping the lump that formed in your throat.
All of a sudden Taehyung lunches forward grasping your hands with his big ones, “help me please. Set me up with her! Pleaaaaseeeee” his boxy smile is on full view.
Once that smile warmed you up but right now you feel nothing but cold.

I could use something so so fluffy. How about bucktommy wedding day?
Jee-yun loves her dress. It's lilac and floaty and sparkly and she has pink rosebuds in her hair, like her mom does. Mom is wearing a pretty blue dress with sparkly crystals on it. And Papa is dressed up really nicely too, in a black suit with a blue tie and blue handkerchief in his jacket pocket, like Uncles Eddie and Sal.
She loves the garden too. There are dozens of chairs draped in white cloth and tied in the back with lilac and pink ribbons. Christopher is already sitting in the front row, wearing a really nice white shirt and blue pants with blue suspenders, and he's talking to Carla and Aunthena (Aunt Athena, her mom reminded her this morning). Then Aunt Hen and Karen arrive, both in different shades of purple - Aunt Hen in a purple that's like a jewel, and Aunt Karen's dress is soft purple - while Mara is wearing light blue and Denny is wearing a dark pink. Jee-yun shrieks and goes over to hug them.
Before long, everyone has arrived. Jee-yun runs from group to group, giving hugs and getting compliments on her dress and her hair, until Uncle Eddie and her Papa calls for everyone to take their seats.
Uncle Bobby is standing there at the front under the white arch decorated with pink roses and lilac ribbons. He looks very handsome in a black shirt and jacket, with a silver tie. In the front row, Grandpa and Grandma are on the right side, and Christopher is sitting beside them with Carla, and Apa and Eomma are on the left.
Her papa and May are the first to walk down the aisle, then Uncle Sal with Lucy, then Uncle Eddie with her mom, the couples separating to stand on either side, and then it's Jee-yun's turn, a basket of rose petals in her left hand.
She puffs with pride as she waits for the music to start. Then, like they practiced, she walks down the aisle, tossing flowers out handful by handful, smiling as big as she can as she goes.
And then she's led to Eomma who gives her a pink ring pop. She hears the music change and turns to peer down the aisle.
Uncle Buck is there in his baby blue suit on his jacket, looking very handsome and happy, and Uncle Tommy approaches him in a dark blue suit, also very handsome and happy. Both of them have pale pink rosebuds pinned to their jackets. They hold hands - someone whistles at them - and they walk down the aisle together.
"Now kiss!" Jee-yun shouts when Uncles Buck and Tommy are standing under the arch. There's a ripple of laughter.
Taking her hand, Aunthena bends down to murmur, "Not yet, sweetie. Bobby has to say a few words first, okay?"
Jee-yun pouts, but catches Uncle Tommy's wink. He mouths, "Later." She subsides and sits on the empty seat between Apa and Eomma.
Uncle Bobby talks a little bit, and then Uncle Buck says something that makes Uncle Tommy's face do that funny twisty thing like he's going to cry, and then Uncle Tommy says something that does make Uncle Buck cry, and they exchange rings, and - finally! - they kiss.
Jee-yun cheers. Everyone she loves is here and happy, and Uncle Tommy has promised her a dance later. She can't wait.

Stray Kids Reaction | FLUFF | Soft Moments With Your Child
Times you watch them bond with their child
Word Count: 3.6k
A/N: Sorry for the longer wait on this one, hope you like it 💛
Warnings: none, just some tooth rotting fluff
________
CHAN
When you walk into your home, you expect to find your daughter and husband lounging about. Their favorite pastime of being live in couch potatoes as they watch movies and snack all day.
Instead you’re greeted by music and the sound of giggles
“Channie? Chunhee?,” you call out as you make your way down the hallway. Neither responds to your calls.
You follow the soft music playing into the living room, you feel your heart swell when you walk in to see your husband swaying around the room, your daughter standing on his toes.
You stop in the doorway, neither one having noticed you yet. Your husband sings along, staring down at her. Your daughter giggles, hugging your husband tighter. He smiles leaning down to kiss her head.
She lets go of his hands reaching up to him.
“Daddy will you carry me?” She asks.
He lifts her up without question, continuing his dancing. He continues to sing to her, as she lays against his chest.
You smile as you notice her eyes start to droop closed.
Chan must notice the change as he stays in place, swaying slowly in his spot. And his singing becomes a light whisper. You walk into the room quietly, Chan hears and turns around slowly. Smiling at you shyly. His ears pink up as you give him a knowing look.
“You played her our song?” you whisper, mindful of your sleeping girl.
“Yeah… she wanted me to teach her to dance and I thought I could show it to her,” he whispers back.
“Something for her to have from us.”
His hand continues to soothe down your daughter’s hair softly. A dimpled smile takes over as he looks down at her fondly. Your heart swells at the sight.
“Christopher, if we weren’t already married, I would be down on one knee proposing to you again,” you say, your own grin creeping its way on your face.
He giggles, shyly looking away, the tops of his ears, and back of his neck turning pink once again.
“Shut it you big sap,” he says with nothing but affection coating his words.
Your grin only grows as you lean forward, planting a kiss against his ever-reddening cheeks.
MINHO
Relief fills you as you walk into your home. The house is fairly quiet, except for the sounds of the stove and gentle voices. You make your way towards the sound, throwing your belongings to the side. Your heart warms at the sight in your kitchen, Minho stands in front of the stove, steam steadily rising as he slowly stirs what’s in the pot in front of him. Next to him is your son, Hyunwoo, who’s standing on a chair in front of the counter. He’s quiet as he peers over the counter, head just barely poking over the top.
“We have to stir this for ten minutes to make sure it tastes yummy,” Minho explains softly.
Your son nods, staring between his dad and the pot before him.
“Then we can eat dinner with Eomma?,” he asks excitedly.
Minho hums, using his free hand to ruffle Hyunwoo’s hair.
“Yes buddy, once she gets home we’ll all eat together, okay?”
Okay!”
You softly knock on the doorway, to the kitchen. Minho turns, a smile gracing his face as he looks at you. Hyunwoo turns, teetering as he tries to balance himself on the chair.
“Eomma! You’re home! Look what me and appa are making!” He says, excitedly bouncing on the balls of his feet.
You smile, easily gliding over to stand behind his chair.
“Smells amazing my loves. Did you help daddy make this?” your voice soft, as you run your hand over his hair affectionately.
“Uh huh! Helped him wash the vegetables and put them in the pot!”
He beams up at you, his smile reminding you of Minho’s baby pictures. You smile, pressing a tender kiss to the top of his head.
“Well, it looks delicious. Tell you what, why don’t you go wash up and we can set the table together, okay?”
He’s all but scrambling off the chair. You steady him as he climbs off, watching him fondly as he dashes down the hallway.
You feel Minho’s arm snake its way around your waist, tugging you to him. You go willingly, wrapping your own arm around him.
“Where’s my kiss? Gave Woo all the attention, what am I chopped liver?” He teases, nudging your head softly.
“Big baby,” you mutter. You still tilt your head, pressing a gentle kiss against his lips.
“Glad you’re home,” he says, pecking your lips once more. You press closer to him, relaxing in his hold.
“Me too.”
CHANGBIN
You’re laying against Changbin, a random movie playing on the tv. Your head against his shoulder as his arm rubs up and down the side of your arm. It’s well past the time you should both be asleep, but you’re more than happy to sit here doing nothing with your husband.
The sound of a door slowly creaking open pulls you out of the sleepy haze. You sit up as you hear small footsteps pad their way into the living room. You and Binnie turn just as your son, Junmyeon, stops in the hallway.
In one hand he clutches a small blue blanket, a gift from Changbin, frowning as he sniffles lightly. His small cheeks puffing up like his father’s as he stares back at you.
“Hey baby, what are you doing up sweetheart?” You ask softly.
He rubs his eyes with his fist, his exhaustion clear as he sways slightly.
“Can’t sleep,” he pouts, tears welling up in his eyes.
“Hey it’s okay bubba, come here baby,” you coo, motioning for him to come into the room. He toddles over to where you and Binnie sit on the couch. You open your arms ready to pick him up when he turns towards your husband. Changbin, who’s been quiet this entire time, looks down at him.
“Daddy will you hold me?” Your son asks quietly.
Your husband sits shocked, used to Junmyeon wanting your affection. He is a mama’s boy just like his father. When Changbin still stares in shock, you nudge him quickly.
“Of course bub, come here,” he says, opening his arms. Your son falls into his arms easily. He practically goes limp as Changbin lifts him into his chest. He tucks his face against your husband’s neck. You smile as you watch Binnie lean back on the couch, putting the blanket around Junmyeon’s shoulders. He begins rubbing his hand up and down your son’s back carefully. In less than five minutes you hear the soft snores come from your son.You smile, sneaking a look at Changbin who wears a big goofy grin.
“He asked me to hold him,” your husband whispers, glancing back at your son.
“He did,” you nod, your hand coming up to massage the back of his neck.
“He’s never done that,” he says, mostly to himself. You hum, watching the loving look he gives your sleeping son.
“You okay Binnie?”
“Couldn’t be better. Now come here. Let me hold both of my babies,” His free arm reaches out to pull you against him. You shake your head, but fall back against his side. You smile as your arms curl around his middle, hugging him closer as you get comfortable.
“Never mind, this is much better,” he says, kissing the sides of both your heads.
HYUNJIN
It’s a quiet Sunday in the Hwang household. You’re quietly fixing up snacks in kitchen, Hyunjin sits at the dining table, painting to his heart’s content, and Hwayoung sits in the living room, quietly watching a movie. Or at least she was, until Hyunjin began to paint. From your place in the kitchen you can see her peak over the couch, staring intently at her dad painting.
You don’t think Hyunjin’s ever noticed the way she watches, so encapsulated by the art he creates. That’s where she gets it after all. He gets so engrossed in what he creates that the world turns a little quieter around him. And for her, she gets so engrossed in what he’s doing she can’t find the chance to look away. Her eyes always curious, identical to her dad’s as she watches him bring his art to life.
But you do take notice. Since the day she could sit up, she’s always eyed his work, whether it be his dancing, his singing, or even his painting. Everything he does makes her little eyes sparkle in wonder. Her quiet nature made it hard for her to express the curiosity that sits on the top of her tongue. You never had the heart to push her to ask, only soft whispers of encouragement to ask to join her father. She’d always decline, content to sit and watch from a distance.
Tonight seems different, as she eyes him, her small fingers twitching where they grip the couch cushion. You glance up, seeing her in the same spot. You look down at the snacks you prepare, then glance up to see Hwayoung gone. A few seconds passes before you see her emerge from behind the couch, tentatively walking towards your husband. You hold your breath as she stops a few paces away from him. You can see the way she takes a deep breath before she calls out to him softly.
“Daddy?”
His eyes and towards her immediately, offering her a gentle smile as he sets his paintbrush down, “Hey petal, do you need something?”
“Can I paint with you?” She asks quietly.
There’s a brief pause as you see Hyunjin freeze, like he’s processing what she’s just asked. You smile as you watch him grin, suppressing his urge to shout in excitement.
“Of course you can, my little muse,” he says, voice a little shaky.
Hyunjin lifts Hwayoung with ease, placing her into his lap. He pulls the hairband from his own head, pulling her hair up into a tiny ponytail.
“What do you want to paint, petal?” He asks, eyes already scanning the table.
“Can you teach me to make a flower? I wanna draw them as good as you do,” her voice shy.
Hyunjin nods, already sifting for a good size brush for her.
You’re quiet as you watch them from your spot in the kitchen. You smile as you watch Hyunjin tremble from excitement. You pull your phone out from your pocket, quietly snapping a few pictures, knowing Hyunjin will want this moment engraved forever.
He turns to look at you when the camera clicks, giving you the biggest grin as he looks between your daughter and you. Your smile mirrors his as you walk out with the snacks you’ve prepared, taking your place across the table from them. Ready to watch them paint to their heart's content.
JISUNG
Late night strolls in the park are practically built into your family routine at this point. You suppose you shouldn’t be surprised that Byeol is a night owl. Her father is a thousand percent to blame due to his own sleep patterns. You don’t mind though, it’s much easier to avoid unwanted reporters and paparazzi hovering to snap photos of you, Jisung and your daughter during the night like this. During the night you practically get the park to yourselves.
The three of you walk along the river, towards the playground you’re all too familiar with. Byeol and Jisung skip ahead in front of you, swinging their arms as they dance around to a made up song from your husband. Their silly antics make you smile, content to watch them good around with each other.
Your daughter giggles, running off ahead, her arms outstretched like an airplane as she sees the playground come closer.
“Look dad, I'm like an airplane!” She shouts, making little whooshing noises as she spins and sways.
Your husband laughs, jogging up to catch her. When he’s close enough, he bends down, grabbing her carefully. Your daughter squeals as jisung lifts her onto his shoulders. He keeps his hand locked around her waist, ensuring she won’t fall off.
“Hold on, okay precious?” He says, waiting for her to let him know she’s ready.
“Okay daddy!” She says, holding his arms in her small hands.
You shake your head, as jisung takes off, making loud airplane noises as he weaves around the park with ease. Your daughter’s laughter floats through the air, her bright smile a carbon copy of your husband’s.
Your heart couldn’t be more full as you pause to watch them. You're quick to take out your phone, recording the two as they zip around the park. Your own laughter bubbles out as you watch the pair get to the playground. Jisung carefully sets your daughter down, making her giggle as he acts like a flight attendant, wishing her safe travels. You see him say something briefly to Byeol before they both take off quickly. You’re two night owls screaming as they race each other to the swing set.
FELIX
You wake up slowly, lulled into consciousness by the sound of cooking and soft music. The blanket falls to your side as you sit up, stretching your arms above your head.
You make your way out of the room being quiet as you get to your daughter’s room. You open the door carefully, expecting her to be asleep, only to find her bed already made. You peek into the room, seeing no signs of your daughter, just then the smell of food floods your senses, your stomach growling at the scent.
The smell of pancakes and fresh coffee only get stronger when you reach the bottom of the stairs. You walk towards the kitchen, following the scent. As you get closer you hear the sound of your husband singing.
You’re greeted by the sight The island covered in fresh food, carefully arranged on their own little platters. Your heart warms at the sight of your husband, cooking breakfast carefully. Your daughter, Myeong, is carefully balanced on Felix’s hip as he cooks. She hums along as he sings, still a little too sleepy to offer much help. She glances back towards the door, noticing you come in.
“Morning mommy!” Her head popping up slightly.
“Good morning, what are my sunshines up to?,” Your voice still rough from sleep.
Felix turns around, smiling brightly when he sees you.
“Good morning pretty, Myeong and I were just making you breakfast,” he says casually flipping another pancake.
You hum, leaning over to kiss your daughter’s head, before placing a soft kiss near your husband’s lips.
“Such a perfect thing to wake up to. Thought I was dreaming for a second when I walked in,” you say, leaning your head against his shoulder.
He laughs, nudging you slightly with his hip.
“Are you telling me I’m not dreamy enough for you on a normal day?,” he teases quietly. With his attention turned to you, he fully neglects the pancake still in the pan, unknowing letting it burn.
“I don’t know, dreamy guys don’t burn their pancakes like you’re doing right now..” you quip back.
He whips around, muttering light curses as he hurriedly flips the pancake before it can burn anymore. You snicker as you hear him haphazardly censor his swears. Your daughter laughs, a small smile on her face as she watches you both bicker. Felix pouts as he adds the pancake to the stack he has so far. The sad pancake is clearly a different shade from the others. You laugh, leaning up to place another kiss to your husband's cheek.
“It’s okay Lixie, you’re still dreamy, even if your pancakes are a little burnt,” you say sweetly. He huffs out a laugh, giving you a loving glare.
SEUNGMIN
You mentally prepare yourself as you hear the mischievous giggles drawing closer. When you feel someone standing behind you, you don’t bother looking up. The laptop in front of you taking all your attention. That is until you feel small fingers tugging on your sweater, and bigger hands ghosting against the back of your neck. The tickling sensation makes you shiver, but you continue typing away on your laptop.
“Kim seungmin, kim seojun.” you say in warning.
Your son giggles louder as your husband snickers, hand continuing to ghost over your sensitive neckœ.
“Babies let me concentrate on my work,” you beg, doing your best not to squirm.
“We’re not doing anything momma!” your son says, though you already feel the light tugs at your sweater starting up again.
“Seungmin,”
“Seojun’s right, I’m not even touching you baby,” seungmin says, even as his fingers graze closer to your neck.
You send a glare behind you as you pause your typing.
“Menace,” you grumble under your breath.
“Menace? What does that mean daddy?” your son, ever the listener, repeats immediately.
‘It means your momma loves me, right honey?”
You roll your eyes, glaring back at him.
“Right, I love him so much I wanna squeeze him to death,” you deadpan.
Your son giggles oblivious to your words. Your husband on the other hand, reaches down pinching your cheek.
“Right back at you baby,” he says sweetly.
You huff, fake biting Seungmin’s hand. He squawks at you, Seojun bursting into another fit of giggles at your antics.
“I have to finish this report for work, give me a little more time, okay?” you say turning to look at them.
“Come on baby, you’ve been sitting here all night, don’t you think you should take a break?” Seungmin says, ruffling your hair.
You sigh, getting ready to reject when Seojun cuts in.
“Please please take a break! Papa and I really wanna watch a movie with you!,” he begs. Part of you curses Seungmin for giving him his goddamn, big brown, puppy eyes. The other part of you melts at the sight of Seungmin’s mini-him with his signature little pout on full display. Seungmin has taught him far too well in getting whatever he wants with that look. You cast one last glance at your laptop, before sighing.
“Alright, my lovely menaces, we can watch a movie, but only one, deal?”
Seojun is yelling in excitement before you can finish the rest of your sentence.
“You know, you really are raising a mini menace,” you say, saving your progress to your laptop. Seungmin hums, resting his chin on top of your head. He rests his hands on your shoulders, giving them a light squeeze.
“Maybe, but he’s our little menace,” he says, pressing a quick kiss to your head. You can’t help but smile.
“Yeah, and I wouldn’t trade him for the world.”
JEONGIN
“Yah! Get back here you little gremlin!”
“Jeongin, don't call our son a gremlin!” you call out.
“Well he’s acting like one!” he fires back, beginning to chase your son.
Your son, Minjun, merely giggles, continuing to weave between the furniture as your husband chases after him. This has been going on for the past half hour, after the pair decided to play a card game. It took five rounds of Jeongin losing before he realized his son was hustling him. Now they’ve been running across the house, your husband ‘seeking his vengeance’.
In reality you know he isn’t mad, in fact he’s delighted to be able to spend time with his son. Touring and constant comebacks make it hard for quality time like this. In fact, if Jeongin were to try hard enough, he could catch Minjun in half a step. Instead he’s perfectly content to chase him around, grin threatening to break through the frown on his face. Minjun squeals as Jeongin finally catches up to him,
“Gotcha!” He says, tossing your son over his shoulder.
You smile as you watch them from your spot on the couch, quietly shaking your head at their antics.
“Mom, save me! Your son cries out as your husband begins swinging him from side to side.
“Your mom can't save you!” Jeongin, says using a fake evil laugh. Your son shrieks through his giggles, gripping onto his dad’s shirt.
“Okay dad! I'm sorry for cheating, put me down, please!” your son tries to surrender.
“Nope! The price for your release just went up.”
Your son squeals as Jeongin begins tickling the backs of his legs and feet.
“Okay! Okay! I'll do anything!” your son cries out.
“Admit that I’m your favorite and that you love me more,” Jeongin says, briefly pausing his tickling attack.
“Hey! That's not fair!” you say, “ you can't bribe our son like that.” You’re mostly joking, but you still shoot a glare towards your Jeongin.
“Sorry baby, that’s my payment,” he shrugs, only sparing you a quick glance, “so what’s it gonna be kid? Admission or life in captivity?”
“You can’t keep me here forever!” Minjun tries, attempting to wiggle free.
“I don’t know… you’re pretty light, I can probably live everyday like this. I think I can dance with you on my back too,” Jeongin says, beginning to dance to his latest choreo. Your son giggles, shaking his head in defeat.
“Okay! You win! You’re my favorite and I love you more!” Minjun shouts.
“Thank you!” Jeongin grins, finally setting your son down. He holds him by his shoulder, giving him a serious look.
“Seriously though, you can’t be doing this with your schoolmates and friends okay? It’s not okay to cheat, even if it may seem fun,” he says firmly.
“I won’t, I promise dad,” your son nods. Jeongin smiles, ruffling his hair affectionately.
“Good. Now teach me how you did it so I can use it against your uncle Changbin.”

Too bad Min Yoongi, the newest thorn in your side, seems insistent on stopping you. 『 series masterlist 』

✧ NOTES: aaaah!!! i was going to wait a little while to drop this but i couldn't resist. consider this an introduction to the boys! i hope that this is a suitable teaser to kick off the series. this teaser is un-beta'd thus far, so wording is subject to change when i reach the editing stage. please feel free to sound off in the replies or my inbox with thoughts/questions! <3
✧ TEASER WORDCOUNT: 733 words
✧ STATUS: ch. 1 scheduled to drop on nov. 6, 2024!
With a flash of lights and a cacophony of sound, Burn The Stage launches into their first song on the setlist. The crowd roars around you, but you’re not here as a fan, so you try to remember everything Jeongguk taught you in preparation for tonight.
If you weren’t already close, most everything there is to learn about Jeon Jeongguk himself could easily be found with a simple Naver search.
Not only is Jeongguk the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of Burn The Stage, but he’s also the de facto face of the band, and he couldn’t be better suited for the job. He’s beautiful. Like, seriously beautiful. Well-built and knows it, sings songs about love and sex and anger with the sweetest voice known to man, covered in tattoos and piercings that eommas everywhere pretend to disapprove of when they’re actually ogling just as much as their daughters. He’s a teenage girl’s wet dream, and with that comes hordes of them using the deductive skills of the NIS to figure out the last time he took a shit. Very little in his life is a secret, whether he likes it or not.
The rest of the band, in turn, gets the luxury of a little bit of mystery.
Park Jimin, drummer, and Kim Taehyung, bassist. Jeongguk’s best friends in the world. You’ve met them both in passing before, at industry events here and there, and they both seemed nice enough.
Jimin has a bit of a reputation for being temperamental, angry, but the way Jeongguk describes him paints him as something gentle. Childhood friends who’ve known each other since scraped knees and runny noses.
It’s public knowledge that Jimin wanted to be a dancer, before this—that when he was in college, he suffered an injury that ended his dancing career before it even started. One moment he was one of the most promising ballet students in Seoul, and the next he was retired at nineteen. He doesn’t like to talk about it, but every time the band is interviewed the question is inevitably asked. Do you have any regrets? You’ve watched the videos, seen the way he shakes with anger even as he answers with a saccharine smile. You have a feeling getting along with Jimin won’t pose any challenges for you. You know a thing or two about regrets.
Taehyung is a bit harder to figure out, but not in any way that sparks concern. He’s just an interesting guy that way.
He was the last to join the band, the first to answer a ‘BASS PLAYER NEEDED’ ad posted around the city. Apparently, he was so good that they didn’t feel the need to call anyone else.
He lives in his own world, does his own thing. Posts very artistic photodumps on his Instagram with concerningly cryptic captions. He’s quiet when he’s around people he doesn’t know, but when he’s put in a room with Jimin and Jeongguk he becomes the loudest person there. He’s kind, caring, always seems to know the right thing to say even if it’s delivered in the strangest manner possible.
Jimin and Taehyung won’t cause any problems for you. Jeongguk assured you that they’d be easy to win over, that as long as Jeongguk likes you, you’re in with them.
The real wild card is the guitarist. Min Yoongi.
According to Jeongguk, Burn The Stage wouldn’t even exist if it weren’t for Yoongi. When the band formed, they were just dumb kids with a shared dream, but Yoongi was the one to set it all in motion.
When they didn’t have anywhere to practice, Yoongi convinced the ajumma he worked for to let him cram as much equipment as he could fit into a tiny noraebang room. When venues wouldn’t book them without the guarantee that they would draw a crowd, Yoongi burned hundreds of CDs and stood on the streets of Hongdae begging people to listen. When shady entertainment companies started offering them laughable contracts, Yoongi found Namjoon and somehow convinced him to manage them for dirt cheap. When they finally got an offer worth taking, Yoongi made them mull it over for as long as they possibly could. Weigh the pros and cons and decide if it was what they really wanted.
If Jeongguk is the face of the band, Yoongi is the heart. Unfortunately for you, this particular heart is very well-guarded.

°A/N:
The fic is heavy. If you have experienced any of the topics listed above, personally, and may be triggering, this may not be the fic for you. You are welcome to enjoy any of my other fics that are less heavy here. This is your WARNING!!!
A few months ago, you gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Leilani. The father of Leilani wasn't ready for a child. In fact, neither of you were ready for a baby, but you knew that now you have another life to think about, so it was time to grow up. You didn't beg him to be in Leilani's life because you should not have to beg the father of your child, the person you laid down with to be in their child's life.
You met Bada a few months into your pregnancy, and as time went on, it started to become harder to hide the pregnancy from her. Bada did notice that you were gaining weight, but she didn't care she loved you either way, no matter what.
♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡
"Bada..... I'm pregnant. I wanted to tell you but I was afraid. I mean, I don't know what I'd do if I was in a relationship, and my partner told me they were pregnant. So whatever your decision is, I completely understand."
"Baby..."
"I mean, you don't want to be with me anymore, I completely understand. I wouldn't want to be with someone who is carrying a child that's not mine, either."
"Wait..."
"If you do want to be with me, I promise you don't have to spend a single dime on Leilani. I will continue working, and I will spend my money on my baby."
"Hold on..."
"And you are at the peck of your career, and I don't want to slow you down with a baby that's not even yours to care for. I love you so much, but I will respect whatever your decision is."
"Are you done, my love?"
"Yeah."
"Number one, why would I leave you ever let alone with a baby? Number two, I will care for Leilani just as if she is my own. Number three, I am not going to let you work while you are pregnant. I will be here to support you in any way you need, no matter what it is. Number four, you will not slow me down in any way with my career. I can and will make time for you and Leilani at any time. Lastly, I love you so much, and I will be there with you every step of the way."
♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡
Bada did just that. She was there for you every step on the way. Every doctor's appointment, change of your body, craving, and mood swing, Bada was there. The more Leilani grew in your belly, the more Bada became excited for this huge change that was about to how in your lives. Then, your water broke.
♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡
"Shit, baby, that's your water! Baby, your water just broke!"
"BADA, GET ME THE HOSPITAL NOW!"
"OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD! I HAVE TO CALL MY MOM!"
"BADA, HURRY, PLEASE! SHE'S READY TO COME OUT LIKE RIGHT NOW!"
"Ok, ok. I'm grabbing the bags and everything now. Eomma, she's coming! THE BABY IS COMING, EOMMA!"
"LEE BADA! WHY ARE YOU CALLING ME RIGHT NOW, HUH? GET HER TO THE HOSPITAL NOW!
"BADA! NOW!"
"OH SHIT! I'M COMING, BABY!"
♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡
Taking this huge step into something as challenging as parenthood was new and quite stressful for you and Bada. Learning and adapting to new situations and things about your daughter but enjoying the time you all spend together, watching as Leilani grew and having someone who loves her as much as you do there for the both of you is the best feeling in the world.
It's stucks when that someone has to leave, Bada is somewhat like the glue that held you together during your pregnancy and even now and it stucks to see her go. No matter how long it's for, you hated it.
♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡
"Why do you have to go for so long?"
"Love, 3 months will fly by so fast and before you realize it, I'll be back."
"But I don't want you to go, though."
"I'll be back sooner than you'll expect, I promise."
"What if I can't do this alone, without you?"
"Baby, you have this power in you. You're a mother, and that is the power in you. Yes, you will feel like you can't do this, but you are so strong and powerful. You are a mother, you can do it, my love, I know you can, you know can, and even Lani knows you can. Say it, my love. Say, 'I can do it.'
"I can do it."
"Louder. Like you mean it."
"Bada, we're in an airport."
"I don't care. Now say it, I CAN DO IT!"
"I CAN DO IT!"
"That's it, baby. Oh, I love you so much!"
"I love you too, Bada Lee!"
♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡
Everything went crashing down about a month after Bada left. Postpartum Depression. It hit you hard as hell, you felt so empty, useless, hopeless. You felt as though if you couldn't take care of yourself, how were you supposed to care for the person that needed you the most, your baby girl.
You laid there as Leilani cried out for the thousands time tonight. You felt so overwhelmed. You didn't know what else to do. You fed her, changed her diaper, and rocked her back to sleep, and as soon as you close your eyes, she would cry out again. You pulled your limp body from the covers and dragged yourself to Leilani's room.
"Mommy's coming, sweetheart."
You picked her up from her crib as her cries became louder. You cooed to her as you rubbed her back, bouncing her in your arms. Her cries only got louder. You knew she was sleepy, but she just couldn't get to sleep. Bada is usually here to put her to sleep, you haven't had any issues with putting her to sleep, but tonight was different.
You didn't know what to do. You felt horrible because your baby girl was crying, and you didn't know what to do to help her through this. You began to get overwhelmed as you held the crying baby in your arms. Tears began to stream down your cheek, your chest began to feel heavy, and your breathing began to shorten as you rushed to your room. Quickly grabbing your phone to call the one person that you both needed in this moment.
Bada was on the way to one of her classes on her pretty hectic schedule for the day when she got the call from you. She knew it was pretty late in the U.S. considering that you called earlier to talk before you went to bed, but Bada just thought maybe you couldn't sleep, so you called her again, which was fine. She picked up the call as she heard cries and sniffles coming from the other end of the call, and she began to get concerned.
"Hi, baby. Is everything okay? Is Lani okay? Are you okay?"
"Bada... I... I don't know what t.. to do. She keeps crying."
"Okay, baby, first I need you to calm down for me. Can you do that, huh? She can feel your pain, sweetie. She knows you're hurting. Breath with me."
"Okay."
You took a deep breath in and exhaled out, slowly feeling your breathing steady, the tears stop flowing, and the weight on your chest lifted. You settled yourself and Leilani onto your bed as Bada talked you through the sudden panic attack.
"Okay. FaceTime me."
You pulled the phone from your ear, pointing the phone towards the two of you as Bada popped up on the screen. Leilani cries began to soften as she heard the familiar voice and saw the familiar face on the screen.
"Hi, sweet girl. Are you giving Mommy a hard time tonight, huh? Look at that pretty face. You are too pretty to cry, sweet girl."
"I think she misses you, baby."
Leilani's cries came to a stop as she heard Bada's voice over the phone, reaching out for Bada as she saw her face on the screen. Bada continued to talk to her, soothing her whines. You laid in bed with Leilani on your chest, gently rubbing her back as she slowly drifted off.
"Bada. You remember what you said at the airport, will you tell me again?"
"Baby, you have this power in you. You're a mother, and that is the power in you. Yes, you will feel like you can't do this, but you are so strong and powerful. You are a mother, you can do it, my love, I know you can, you know can, and even Lani knows you can."
"Thank you, baby. I don't know what I'd do if you were not in my life."
"Anytime, love. I told you that I'd be here for you, no matter what."
"Bada, will you sing for us?"
"Of course, baby. What should I sing?"
"Only by LeeHi. I love it when you sing that one."
"Ah, that one."
As Bada's sweet, soft voice flowed from the phone that lay beside the two of you, you felt your eyes begin to get heavy, and your body relaxed into the covers of the bed. Bada watched as the two loves of her life drift off to sleep as she finished the song.
"Good night, my sweet girls. I love you both so much!"
°A/N:
This was pretty heavy, right? I just wanted to let you all know that if you have experienced postpartum depression and anxiety or any mental illness period that you are alone and you have people who care for you and love you. I care for you, and I love you. Yes, we may not know each other, but still, I care about you, and you do have a purpose in this world. You are important and loved. Please reach out and talk to someone if you need to, I am always here if you need someone.
Love ya! 💙

Best Friend's Mother Masterlist
Chapter: Eight
Milf!Park Seonghwa X gn!reader
Summary: As Wooyoung promised, the three of you filled the two weeks leading up to the party with nothing but excitement.
WC: 4.4k (Damn)
CW: Mostly fluffy antics, one scene is suggestive, ending scene is angsty, argument, crying, talks of a narcissistic/abusive parent (again), hugs, cuddles
AN: This chapter is more of a montage, if that makes sense. It's multiple short moments all put into one chapter, all on different days over the two weeks between chapter 7 and chapter 9.
I felt like that made the most sense (and was the best way to write this) for the bridge to the Christmas party.
And this is also to prepare you all for the Christmas party because it will be a lot. So please, enjoy this, and be prepared! 💜

Seonghwa came into the kitchen with a large white binder and put it down on the counter. The front of the binder had “Recipes” written across the front in pretty cursive.
You and Wooyoung looked from either side of him as he flipped the binder to a “dessert” section and began looking through the cookies.
All the recipes were put into plastic sleeves, with no writing or scribbles, and perfectly straight.
“Can we do those?” Wooyoung asked, stopping Seonghwa on a recipe for double chocolate cookies. .
“For Christmas cookies?” Seonghwa clarified. Wooyoung looked at Seonghwa like he didn’t understand the question.
“Why not? Chocolate is popular at Christmas.” Seonghwa sighed and shook his head. Wooyoung made a small noise of protest, but went quiet as Seonghwa went back to looking through the recipes.
By the end (after a few more interruptions from Wooyoung), each of you were given a different cookie to make. Wooyoung set up by the stove. Seonghwa had most of the counter space, and you were at the kitchen table.
It wasn’t long before the chaos began.
“Eomma, I can’t find the vanilla,” Wooyoung called, going over to Seonghwa, who was reading over his recipe. He looked up to see Wooyoung rummaging through a cabinet. You saw Seonghwa’s whole body cringe seeing Wooyoung move bottles and knock them over.
You couldn’t help but giggle as Seonghwa rushed over and stopped Wooyoung. He reorganized the cabinet before he located the vanilla and gave it to Wooyoung. You saw a little smirk on Wooyoung’s face as he sweetly thanked Seonghwa.
You smiled as you went back to your recipe, continuing to make the cookie you were assigned. Things were calm for another thirty seconds before Wooyoung piped up again.
Wooyoung came over to the table and took the flour from you just as you reached for it. “Hey, I need that!” You called, going after him.
“So do I, I’ll be done in a second.”
You stood befuddled as you watched Wooyoung intentionally take his time slowly adding the flour to his dough. Slowly spooning the flour into the measuring cup before he dumped it into the mixture. He even took the time to scrape the flour out of the measuring cup.
“You’re an ass,” you muttered. Wooyoung just gave you a big bright smile.
“But you love me!”
“I don’t know where you got that idea.” You yanked the flour away from him the second he was done with it and went back to the table. Wooyoung dramatically gasped before he started fake crying.
The whole nine yards, with loud wails and rubbing his eyes like a baby.
“Eomma,” he fake sobbed as he went over to hug Seonghwa, hiding his face in his sweater, still faking the crying.
Seonghwa didn’t even look at him, he’d heard the whole interaction. He just petted Wooyoung’s hair as he continued mixing his dough. You shook your head as you finished using the flour.
“Eomma, didn’t you hear?” Wooyoung whined, looking up at Seonghwa with dry puppy eyes. Seonghwa still didn’t look at him, but nodded silently. “You love me, don’t you?”
“Of course I do,” Seonghwa finally said. He looked away from the bowl for just a second to kiss Wooyoung’s head. Apparently, that’s all Wooyoung needed before he went back to his station to make his cookies.
The peace stayed for a bit longer this time. In that new lull of peace, Seonghwa softly began to sing. It was a song you didn’t know, one in Korean, but it sounded gorgeous.
Especially hearing Seonghwa sing it. His voice was so soothing to listen to, soft and smooth, effortlessly transitioning from note to note and across the scales. His voice was comparable to bird song with how sweet the melody was.
You took extra care to stay quieter so you could hear his voice. You noticed Wooyoung did the same.
When the song ended, you were a little disappointed. You wanted to hear more.
You were about to ask Seonghwa if he could sing another song when Wooyoung piped up.
“You’ll put me to sleep if you keep singing.” All three of you laughed. But even despite the lullaby nature of Seonghwa’s soft singing, you wanted him to keep going. You wanted another song. Anything to hear more of his voice.
But you knew there was some truth to Wooyoung’s joke. So you let it go and focused on the cookies.
You all finished your dough around the same time. Half of your batches were baked then, and the other half of the dough would be frozen so you could bake them the day of the party.
(Cookies are also better if you freeze the dough first, but Wooyoung whined about the idea of waiting any longer for his cookies)
And after you three had cleaned up, you all sat at the table waiting for the cookies to be done. You were the one to start the conversation.
“You didn’t tell me your mom was a singer,” you said to Wooyoung as Seonghwa sat down next to him. The slight flush in his cheeks wasn’t missed by you.
Wooyoung shrugged. “He doesn’t sing in front of people much.” He looked at Seonghwa disapprovingly, with his eyebrows down with a frown. “When he should, because he’s good at it.” Seonghwa looked away as his face turned redder.
“I just don’t feel like it all the time.”
“You should,” you encouraged, smiling warmly. “Your voice is beautiful.” Seonghwa smiled back at you.
“Thank you, sweetie.” Your heart fluttered and you felt heat rush to your cheeks.
Wooyoung scoffed and rolled his eyes. “You guys can be gushy later, I’m still here.”
You and Seonghwa both laughed, but you both turned your attention back to Wooyoung.
“So, who’s all coming?” Wooyoung asked, propping his head up on his hand.
“Your uncles are coming, Yunho and Mingi,” he began, looking off into space, trying to remember everything. “The cousins that usually come to the functions too.” He paused for a second, trying to remember. “Oh, Hongjoong said he’d come.”
“Hongjoong?” Wooyoung clarified, sitting up properly, his eyes lighting up.
“Yes, I texted him, and he said he’d come.”
Wooyung smiled so big and silently celebrated, bouncing in his seat a little bit. When he looked back up at you, he saw your confusion and calmed back down, ready to explain, but Seonghwa took over instead.
“Hongjoong is one of my previous boyfriends. He and I are still on good terms, he’s Wooyoung’s favorite.”
“Because he’s the best!” Wooyoung bounced again. Seonghwa smiled softly to himself.
Hongjoong was his favorite too. They were great as friends, but not so much as a couple. They spent years trying to work it out, to figure out how they could function together, but it just didn’t work out.
But even if they didn’t agree to just stay as friends, Wooyoung would never let Hongjoong go.
“He’s a music producer,” Wooyoung started, “So obviously, he makes and produces music, and he took me with him to work sometimes, and it was SO COOL, because I got to see the studios and meet artists and I even got to help with some of the projects!”
“He also bought you almost anything you asked for,” Seonghwa added. Wooyoung’s face fell and he waved his hand at Seonghwa.
“That’s not why he’s my favorite, that’s not important!”
You couldn’t help but laugh, but you were certainly intrigued. You were definitely looking forward to meeting Hongjoong, and the rest of their family. The uncles Seonghwa mentioned, and the cousins as well.
Seonghwa rolled his eyes and sighed. “Yes, he’s coming, and maybe a few friends, but we’ll see as the weeks go on. It’ll be a smaller party this year.”
“In that case, can my friends come?” Wooyoung asked, looking at Seonghwa with hopeful eyes. He’d never expected to bring you along, but now that he had, what’s stopping him from inviting the rest of his friends?
Seonghwa’s response was just a shrug. “I don’t see why not.”
You and Wooyoung smiled brightly.
Christmas would be amazing this year.
Not long later, the cookies were done. They were delicious.
“Which one of you has the gold paper?!” Wooyoung yelled from the living room, looking through his collection of wrapping paper tubes.
“I do!” You yelled back as you grabbed it, going to the living room to give it to Wooyoung. He shrieked when you came around the corner.
“No, just throw it! Don’t look!”
“None of the presents are mine anyway, why does it matter?!”
“Because you’ll spoil the surprise for other people!”
“I don’t even know everyone or whose present is whose!”
Distantly, in his bedroom upstairs, you could hear Seonghwa dying laughing.
You sighed and tossed the wrapping paper onto the floor and went back to the gifts you were wrapping.
Wooyoung’s demand was even more outrageous because the gifts you were wrapping were for the same people Wooyoung’s gifts were.
Seonghwa had bought most of the gifts for the family that was coming, and others for one's he was going to mail to those who couldn’t make it. You offered to help wrap the many gifts he bought, since it would take him ages if he did it on his own.
Wooyoung bought some of his gifts for the family on his own, but you knew none of the ones he was currently working on were for you or Seonghwa.
You knew this because he told he’d done it already and was hiding it in his room.
You sat back down at the kitchen table and went back to wrapping the gifts. It wasn’t long later before you heard Seonghwa calling for wrapping paper you had.
You got up to go give it to him, but Wooyoung met you at the stairs. “I’ll take it up to him,” he insisted, grabbing the other end of the tube.
“No, it’s fine,” you argued, trying to pull it back. Wooyoung shook his head and tried to pull it back, firmer this time.
“It’s okay, I had to go up there anyway, he has one I want.”
Well that was suspicious, especially since he’d just asked you for a different wrapping paper a minute ago.
But he’d always yanked the tube out of your hand and was running up the stairs.
You almost chased after him, but decided against it, and once again, went back to the table.
You and Wooyoung were whispering to each other from the living room as Seonghwa was making dinner, while the TV was loudly playing a movie to cover up your whispers.
“Repeat after me,” Wooyoung started. “Yeobo.”
“Yeobo,” you whispered back. Wooyoung nodded.
“Okay, good, you’re getting better.” You and Wooyoung both smirked in satisfaction. The plan was coming together.
Wooyoung had taught you a couple other Korean words to be able to make a flirty comment to Seonghwa. An ambitious sentence that translated to “Your dress would look prettier on the floor, baby.”
You’d been practicing your pronunciation with Wooyoung since Seonghwa had started dinner, though you’d been working together on this for a few days by then. And since Seonghwa was finally wearing a dress tonight, you had the chance to say it.
You’d been staring at the dress all night, you couldn’t help yourself. A short black dress with holes cut out for the chest and shoulders, and slits by the thighs.
But it would definitely look better on the floor.
“Dinner is done!” Seonghwa called, right on cue. Wooyoung gave you a reassuring smirk before he got up from the couch.
You followed him, your heart thundering as you whispered the phrase to yourself, making sure the pronunciation was correct, repeating it over and over again, until you sat down at the table with Seonghwa and Wooyoung.
And you were terrified. You spoke very little throughout the meal to hide your nervousness. Even with Wooyoung giving you encouraging looks across the table, you couldn’t work up the courage to say it.
Until the meal was over and the clean up began.
Like every other meal, you were helping Seonghwa clean up. You were rinsing the dishes off and putting them in the dishwasher as Seonghwa was putting any leftover food away. Wooyoung was wiping down the table, taking his time to hopefully hear the moment you said the line to Seonghwa.
As you put the last plate in the dishwasher, you took one final breath, and walked up to Seonghwa.
He looked up at you for a second before he focused back on the food. “Yes dear?” He asked as he put the lid on another container.
You replayed the sentence in your head before you finally spit it out, trying to keep the tremor out of your voice, saying it exactly how Wooyoung had taught you.
Seonghwa whipped his head back to you, his face instantly going red and his eyes going wide. Wooyoung covered his mouth as he tried to keep his witch cackle laugh silent.
Seonghwa’s instant reaction was to ask you “When and where did you learn that?” but he saw his son dying of laughter out of the corner of his eye, so that answered his question immediately.
So your moment of pride for making Seonghwa blush was short lived as he smirked instead, and said something equally seductive in Korean back to you.
At the time, you had no idea what he said. But his voice was deeper when he spoke Korean, so his voice still sent chills down your spine and all over your body regardless.
He could’ve told you he was going to take the trash out and you still would’ve been flustered from his voice.
Seonghwa winked before he took the food and put it into the fridge, walking away. He was planning to tell you what he said later, when you two were alone, but Wooyoung beat him to it.
Wooyoung ran over to you, giddy and excited, laughing as your face turned redder and redder.
“He said ‘You better keep that promise’.”
The fireplace roared as snow sprinkled onto the Earth outside. The only light in the living room came from the fire and the fake candles Seonghwa had strewn around the room, illuminating you and Seonghwa’s bodies. You were laying on his chest between his legs, your arms around his waist, his arms tightly holding you to his chest.
Wooyoung had, once again, left you two alone for the night. He’d shown himself to his room after Seonghwa had suggested making hot cocoa for the both of you and curling up by the fire.
And here you were, but the mugs of cocoa were forgotten on the coffee table as Seonghwa gazed down at you. You were now familiar with the look he gave you, his half lidded dark eyes and his lips slightly parted.
But he wasn’t rushing into it. He took one of his hands and cradled your head in his hand, his thumb stroking your cheek. You leaned into his hand and melted into his touch.
“What do you want for Christmas, jagiya?” Seonghwa said softly, barely above a whisper.
Honestly, you hated this question. Any time anyone asked the question “What do you want for Christmas/your birthday/any other gifting occasion,” you forgot everything you ever wanted in your life. And initially, your mind did blank.
But then you knew what you wanted, and you smiled warmly. “I’m happy with anything if I’m here with you and Wooyoung.”
“Anything?”
You were about to nod and confirm it, but then the blankness in your mind turned into an idea.
“Actually, maybe something I could bring back to college to tell people I have a boyfriend.”
Seonghwa’s eyes lit up and he smiled so big. “Your boyfriend?” You could see the light and adoration in his eyes. The pure delight, the warmth in his smile. He pulled you even closer than before, his lips hovering above yours.
You couldn’t help but smile back, the excitement spreading through your bones and lighting up your body like thousands of little pricks of electricity. Yes, he was your boyfriend. You wanted him to be your boyfriend.
And you said as much.
“Yes, my boyfriend,” you whispered, your eyes falling half closed like his. Seonghwa’s lips parted again as he pulled you just a little bit closer.
“Then do you know what I want for Christmas?”
His voice sent shivers down your spine again, and you gulped as you looked up at him for him to continue.
“I want you, gorgeous,” he breathed as he pulled your lips to his. You gladly kissed him back, the desire spilling over the rest of your body all over again.
Until you felt something slap your head.
You pulled back and went up to touch the spot that was slapped, and there was a plastic gift bow on your head.
And from behind the couch, Wooyoung popped up with a big shit eating grin on his face.
“Aww, you’re a cute little present,” he cooed, making his voice high and whiney and intentionally annoying.
“You shit,” you grumbled, yanking the bow off our head and throwing it at Wooyoung. He just giggled as he ran off to his room, satisfied with his mischief.
Seonghwa was giggling to himself as you sighed in frustration. In the back of your head, you were already resigning and thinking the moment was ruined and the tension was gone.
Until Seonghwa pulled you back and pressed a kiss to your cheek, and peppered kisses across your skin to your lips, taking his time until you were relaxed back in his arms. He smiled into the kiss before he paused and pulled back for just a moment.
“You are a cute little present, jagiya,” he whispered, and then held you tighter. “My cute little present.”
And as he kissed you again, with desire and need, the world faded out. All that was in your head was his words.
My cute little present.
Yes, yes you were.
You finished buttoning your coat as Seonghwa did the same, with a large black wool coat that went down to his sides. For the first time since you met him, he looked more masculine, wearing a tailored men’s suit.
It still gave you butterflies just like any other outfit he’d worn.
“Wooyoung!” He called out, grabbing his keys. “I’m going out, I’ll be back in a couple hours.”
Wooyoung came into the room then, and he pouted when he saw you ready to go. “You’re stealing my friend?”
You looked at Seonghwa confused. You’d assumed he’d told Wooyoung, which is why you never said anything. But now you were surprised with the knowledge that he hadn’t.
“It won’t be long, we’re only going to two stores,” Seongha argued, reaching for the door.
“But you’re taking my friend.” Wooyoung whined again and stomped his foot like a child. By this point, you knew it was a joke, but you still felt a little guilty that your friend wasn’t informed that you were leaving with his mother.
“Again, nae sarang, it won’t be long.”
Wooyoung made another noise of anger before he stormed over and grabbed your arm, pulling you into a tight hug.
“They’re my friend before your date!” He yelled, squeezing you tight. You couldn’t help but laugh, especially when Wooyoung giggled too. But there was truth to his claim.
“I’m not arguing that,” Seonghwa continued, his lips twitching as he fought the smile that was forcing its way in. “But they wanted to come with me when I mentioned I was going out.”
You piped up next, looking at your dear, whiny, childish friend. “I’m sorry I didn’t tell you, Woo. I promise I will next time.”
“No!” He cried again. “You’re staying with me! My friend!”
And with that began a wild chase through the extravagant house, with Wooyoung pulling you along through the halls and rooms with Seonghwa chasing behind. There were a few times when Seonghwa grabbed a hold of you, but Wooyoung would quickly snatch you back.
You were all laughing the entire time.
When you all were finally out of breath and laying across the living room furniture, Wooyoung admitted “defeat.”
“I guess I’ll let you go,” he panted, as if he was giving you permission. You laughed breathlessly as you sat up.
You knew he wasn’t serious, and that Wooyoung knew he didn’t actually own you and wasn’t actually giving you permission. But it all stemmed from one valid point he had.
They’re my friend before your date.
You’d been spending more time with Seonghwa than you had with Wooyoung for the last week or so. Usually, all three of you were together, and you found something to do. But you’d chosen Seonghwa more than your friend that brought you together.
“Can we hang out when I get back?” You asked as you looked at him. Wooyoung turned his head from where he was laying across the arms of a chair across from you.
He just looked at you for a few seconds. Then you saw the shift, and he realized that you understood the whole point. He smiled so big, and you couldn’t help but smile back.
“Yeah, of course. We’ll play some games and maybe annoy Eomma.”
“Are you sure that’s a pastime you want to add to your list?” Seonghwa asked, getting up from his spot on the couch. Wooyoung just smiled at him as he always did. Seonghwa sighed as he looked at you. “Are you ready to go, sweetheart?”
You nodded as you stood up with him, and Wooyoung waved you both good bye. He made sure to watch as Seonghwa’s car drove away before he grabbed his phone and went to his contacts to find San’s name.
“Is that the last of it?” You asked as you wrapped up another glass bowl full of food for the party the next day.
“Yes,” Seonghwa said as he nodded. “I’m going to clean up, and then we just wait for tomorrow.”
“Finally.” Wooyoung sighed as he put some of the dishes into the dishwasher. “I think if I look at any more food, I’ll throw up.”
You shared the sentiment as you put the bowl into the fridge, You’d spent the last few hours prepping food for the Christmas party with Seonghwa and Wooyoung. You learned a lot about Korean food, which was a positive.
But as you flopped onto the couch in the living room, you wanted nothing more than to pass out and be done with prep work and chores for the night.
You could feel sleep pulling you in, and you were about to fall right in and sleep on the couch.
“Wooyoung, your mother is coming to the party tomorrow.”
Your eyes flew open.
“What?” Was all Wooyoung said at first. “Why, how does she even know?”
“She asked.”
“And you said yes?!”
You shrank back down on the couch, pretending you were actually asleep. You shouldn’t have been eavesdropping, this conversation wasn’t meant for you to hear.
But getting up and leaving now felt a little awkward, and you knew you would’ve heard about it from Wooyoung tomorrow.
“She texted me asking if I’d seen you, because she hasn’t seen you since the school year started-”
“Yeah, there’s a reason for that.”
“Wooyoung, you can’t just ignore her-”
You heard something hit the counter. “Yes I can!”
“Wooyoung, stop cutting me off.”
Seonghwa’s voice dropped an octave, and you could imagine the look he was giving Wooyoung as he stared at him. You could also imagine the desperate look on Wooyoung’s face, and the helplessness he was feeling when he agreed to be silent.
“You haven’t told her why you don’t like her, you just stopped speaking to her. I don’t care who it is, Wooyoung, you can’t just drop out of people’s lives without an explanation.”
“She doesn’t deserve one.”
“I know she doesn’t deserve one, but you do.” There was a pause. “If you don’t, she won’t leave you alone, and if you don’t want her in your life, then you need to tell her.”
“She wouldn’t accept it.”
“And what if she does, Wooyoung? What if it works?”
“She won’t!” By now, Wooyoung was sobbing, his voice strangled, his words choked. “You know this, Eomma, she won’t! It won’t work!”
They both went silent, save for Wooyoung’s muffled cries, as you could imagine Seonghwa holding him tight.
Your nose burned and your throat closed up as tears formed in your own eyes. Your heart was pounding so hard, you could hear it in your head.
It was all too familiar. You swore you could remember thinking the same things. Having this argument with yourself for years before you went to college. Talking with your friends at the time about it, your family, and them telling you the same things.
But there was no monster in this world scarier than the beings who brought you into this world.
You got up from the couch and quickly made your way to the stairs, going to your room as fast as you could. You didn’t care if they saw anymore.
You buried your face in the pillows and cried. You cried in memory of your parents. You cried for Wooyoung’s pain. You cried because you knew so many others felt this awful pain.
And you’d lost the birth lottery. You were one of them. So was Wooyoung.
You’d fallen asleep at some point, who knows when it was. But at some point, you were woken up by Seonghwa and Wooyoung crawling into your bed with you. Wooyoung hugged you from the back, Seonghwa held you against his chest.
“What are you both doing here?” You mumbled, still half asleep.
Neither of them said anything. Either because they didn’t hear you, or because the answer was obvious.
You all were hurting in one way or another. And you all would be there for each other.
You closed your eyes as you leaned your head on Seonghwa’s chest, and laid your hand on Wooyoung’s. He shifted to hold your hand instead, lacing his fingers with yours and squeezing tightly.
It felt safe. It felt like home. Wooyoung felt it too. So did Seonghwa.
Whatever happened, the three of you would be together. You’d be safe.
Tomorrow could end any number of ways. But you all knew you’d be together by the end of it.
And no one on this Earth could take that away from you.

“Appa!” Ha-Joon excitedly calls out to her father from her Uncle Yunho's shoulders. The kind-hearted giant gently lifts her off his shoulders and places her on the ground, while Hongjoong turns around upon hearing his daughter's familiar voice. His eyes widen with surprise as she rushes towards him. As soon as she reaches him, he scoops her up in his arms, showering her with hugs and kisses. The three-year-old bursts into giggles.
"I'll give you some alone time," Yunho says, wanting to give the little family some space.
"Thank you, Yunho," Y/N expresses her gratitude and walks over to her husband as he leaves to go back to the rest of the guys.
“Isn’t this a pleasant surprise,” Hongjoong smiles, greeting her with a kiss. “I thought you couldn’t get time off work?”
“I managed to find someone to cover for me,” she tells him. “I just have to get you all to sign her daughter’s album.” She pats her handbag, letting him know she’s got it with her.
“We can do that,” he smiles and kisses her once more. "I've missed both of you," he says, playfully tickling their daughter. Ha-Joon lets out loud giggles as she squirms in his arms.
“We miss-” Y/N's words are abruptly interrupted by Wooyoung’s loud high-pitched voice, echoing through the auditorium as he calls out to their daughter.
“JJoon-ie! Kim Ha-Joon-ie!”
Ha-Joon claps her hands in delight, unable to contain her excitement at seeing her favourite uncle. She loves and adores all her uncles and has a very special bond with them, but there is something extra special about her bond with Wooyoung, which earned him the title of godfather much to the others’ dismay.
“Uncle Youngie!” she shouts back to him as she scrambles out of her father's arms and runs towards her favourite uncle.
“You couldn’t wait five more minutes?” Hongjoong says, annoyed.
“I’ll give her back in an hour or two,” he says and walks away. “Say bye to Eomma and Appa!”
“Bye, Appa, Eomma!” Ha-Joon waves her tiny hand at her parents over Wooyoung’s shoulder as they disappear behind the stage.
“I should text Seonghwa to make sure they don’t get into too much trouble,” Hongjoong says pulling out his phone and sending a message to right hand man.
“I’m sure they’ll be fine,” she tries to reassure her husband who did this every time Wooyoung looks after their little girl.
"You know how mischievous they can be," Hongjoong replies, his worry evident in his voice.
"I know, but he loves her just as much as we do," she says, trying to ease his concerns. "He always makes sure she's safe and doesn’t get into too much trouble."
“I should also tell them not to eat too much candy. I don’t want her having a sore stomach like last time,” he adds.
“Baby,” she says taking his face in her hands and making focus on her and not his phone. “They’ll be fine.”
Hongjoong nods, reluctantly accepting her reassurance, but he can't help but worry. Being a father has made him more protective than ever.
“You’re right,” he sighs. “How have you been? Has the sickness eased off yet? Has Eomma been helping?” he questions placing a hand on her lower stomach, feeling the small bump that’s now forming.
Hongjoong feels bad that he can’t be with her during this time. After almost missing the birth of his daughter he vowed never to miss any of his other children’s births. Her being pregnant at the start of their tour meant he had more of a chance at being home for this one’s birth. But still, it didn’t make him feel any better that he was missing appointments, feeling and watching her bump form and being there for her during this time.
“It’s eased off a lot. I’m still a little nauseous. Eomma has been wonderful. She’s practically living at our house, helping with the chores, looking after Ha-Joon, making sure we have plenty of food and are eating well,” she assures him. “Your brother has even stopped by a few times to take Ha-Joon to the park.”
“I hate that I can’t be there,” he says with a mix of emotions.
"We're managing, don't worry," she attempts to reassure him again.
"But I do worry," he admits, his voice filled with longing. "I want to be there for every moment. I want to hold your hand during the ultrasounds and see our little moving about,” he continues, taking one of your hands in his. “I want see our child grow inside you and feel him kick for the first time."
She reaches out and takes his hand, giving it a reassuring squeeze. "I know, Hongjoong. I want you there too, but we knew this was a possibility. And it’s okay. You’re doing what you love, and I support you all the way."
He nods, understanding her words but still feels a pang of guilt. "I just don't want you to feel like you’re alone and like I'm not there for you."
She smiles softly, eyes filled with nothing but love. “I have never felt that way. And I’m not alone. We have an amazing support system back home and even though we’re not physically together while you’re away, you’ve always been there for me."
“When you go back home, I want photos and videos every day. I want to see the bump grow, I want to see the ultrasounds and everything I’m missing while I’m not there,” he tells her.
“I can do that,” she smiles, feeling herself get emotional.
“Good,” he hugs her and kisses the side of her head. Letting her go, he says, “I think it’s been an hour.”
Confused, she looked at the time, seeing that only 10 minutes had passed. “It’s only been 10 minutes.”
“Wooyoung can look after her later,” he says wrapping an arm around her shoulders and leads her out of the auditorium. “Right now, I want to be with both my girls.” '

Mommy duties
Cassie's POV
I woke up this morning, still tired as hell. Only to look to my left side and see an empty ass bed. "Great way to start a morning sweetie", Cassie says sarcastically. Hitting and kicking and kicking my feet up like that will make this woman magically appear. After a while, I stopped thinking this would be a great time to get in some extra rest." Yes, Cass, look on the bright side, and today will be a great day." I turned her head when I heard a very loud whine, then I opened my eyes clearly and stared at the door hoping and praying it would stop. "And now I have to pee".
I walk outside my bedroom and bend down and see our 3 year old son, Corey. The naming process was a bit much to think about it. With me being American and Bada being korean. I didn't really care about whether the name is korean or american. As long as I could pronounce it, I was fine. Know what you're thinking? You're a terrible mother if you sit there and listen to your son crying and do nothing. I look up and see the cameraman set up with everything, "Don't judge my parenting skills if you don't have kids, you freaks."
Once my precious little Corey looks up and sees me, he gets all happy and jumpy. He starts tapping my leg and bouncing up and down, letting me know he wants to be picked up. Of course, any other time, I would big my big baby up with a smile on my face, but in my current condition, everything is either aching or swollen. "Hello everyone, or good morning, I guess. I'm Cassie Lee. Or wait, last name first, so Lee Cassie. "And this little man," I say as I bend down despite my back pain and pick my son up. "This is Corey Lee, I know I just contradicted myself with the last name again, but it's sounds better like that, yea. I'm the mother, and it's my way or no way. " I say while laughing.
"So, today, we won't really be doing anything to be honest, just like a day in life with us." I look behind me to realize that Corey is hiding behind my leg. I just laugh softly. "You would think with whom his parents are, he would be used to the camera. Welp, I guess not, huh?" I turn around to go my morning routine. I'm brushing my teeth, then having to get Corey ready for the day. As I'm putting him in his outfit, we choose for the day a member of the crew says, "Had you and Bada ever thought of bringing little Corey to daycare, Mrs. Lee". I just chuckle and stare at my son for a minute and then continue. " It's a common thing to put babies in daycare, so it was suggested to us, you know, some women said was good. It would give us a bit of a break. But in my family, daycare wasn't a thing. In fact, the women in my family look down upon them, to be honest. " I said while laughing. They view as mothers trying to get away from their children. I think it's reasonable. Parents go through a lot. I mean me and Bada I just became parents to Corey, so I don't look down upon it like my family. But I can say that for me, I have extreme separation anxiety from my son. Sleeping in separate rooms is like a lot for me. It's hard on Bada to, though, with her working. "
I finish putting on his pants and start kissing all over his face and making my way to the kitchen to feed him. I fix him some rice. It's weirdly his favorite. And eggs with apple slices. "Corey eats some weird combinations, but hey, he is happy, so that's all that matter". I say, turning to the camera and smiling. After a while, he looks around and starts getting crying. "There goes a happy day. He is used to Bada feeding him in the morning." I try to do the train thing she usually does, but he starts crying louder. "Mama... Noo....Mama, "Corey says while trying to get out of his high chair. Yea, this isn't working. As soon as he starts speaking, I realize he doesn't want me, but Bada. He calls me Mommy, and Bada is Mama or Eomma. He does it so he doesn't get confused, I think.
I try to grab him and sooth him by whispering in his ear and rubbing his back, but nothing seems to be working. "Come on, baby, I know, but Mama is at work right now. We can't just cry, though. " I wanna call her, but I know she will be busy on and won't be able to answer. After a while, I just give up, "Corey wanna go see Mama." He finally stops crying to look at me and starts to calm down. Ok, then let's get your shoes on. we are going to go see Mama. He starts running or attempting to run with him being so excited that it seems hard. He brings his shoes and smiles with his big puffy cheeks. "What am I gonna do with you?"
I put on his shoes. And then go put on my dress. Many people expect pregnant women to dress like nuns. And I refuse to do that. I come out fully ready in my dress, showing off my 5-month bump with pride. " I was that bitch before I was pregnant and I still am at 5 months what does that tell you ladies and gentlemen. I've just been that bitch." I say while covering Corey's ears. Then I grab his hand and his bag, making sure to grab a couple of toys. Then I go in the kitchen to pack up his breakfast in a container to give to him when we get there. "Well, let's go, baby".
I walk outside in my sandels cause my feet just aren't made for it anymore. Then I pick up Corey and place his bag in the Corey and then move to scrap him up in his car seat. Then I get in the driver's seat after making sure he is secure. "My mom is always saying he is a toddler now. A big boy needs a booster seat not a car seat. I just let her say whatever and move on. Corey is a small baby I and he likes his car seat. So he shall stay fully secure and safe inside of the seat. I then start driving.
I always get lost when it's time to come to this set. "She has told me a million times where this place is, but I always get lost when I right around the corner." I looked up and saw the exit and finally remembered the area I'm in. "See, my sense of direction just never been there. In my defense, I grew up in New York, and almost no one drives a car there. With how crowded the city is, no one wants to. " I said, looking at the camera. Then, I look up and see the MNET building. "We are finally here. The literal pain I had to go through this morning all for some breakfast is crazy. I said while pulling into the parking lot.
While trying to park, I realized I had to parallel park. "See, I knew getting here was too easy. This whole process seemed way easier than it usually is. Shit. " I turn around and see Corey giggling. "That's a no, no word ok. Don't say that word, baby. " I struggle, then eventually I am able to park the car, without hitting anything. "Funny thing is I didn't know how to drive until I came to Korea. Bada actually taught me, and the driving lessons paid off because I really didn't wanna hit anything. This isn't my car it's hers. So yea. "
I go to get out of the car while making sure to grab my babies bag, of course. Then I reach in the back seat and start to unbuckle Corey from his car seat. And he is smiling all happy. "Yall see the sudden mood change. It's actually quite crazy. He remembers the building now. " I say while smiling back at him and putting him on my hip. Not before reaching the front of the car to grab my water bottle. "We are on the way to see Mama, yay, right?" I started singing with Corey as we make it to the entrance of the building.
The woman at the front desk looks at me and bows. I try to bow as well until she looks down and sees my stomach and starts apologizing. "No, it's fine. I understand. Who exactly are you here to see? Do you have an appointment? "She says while smiling at me and Corey. "He is very adorable ma'am". I look at her smiling and thank her. Corey gets shy and tries to hide in my neck. " I'm here to see Bada Lee. She should be on set right now," she stares at her computer and starts typing before telling me to give her a moment. I nod and wait, and then she looks down at my hand and giggles, "She said her wife might be coming in one of these days." I look at her and laugh. "I don't exactly know if they are filming right now, though Mrs. Lee. Would you like me to inform her? " I just shake my head.
"No, she doesn't know we are here right now. I wanted it to be a little work surprise. " She nods and gets up to show me the way to the set. "We are almost there to see Mama," I say to my son while being so ready to put him down. He gets really clingy with me when he is around strangers. I guess that's my fault. "And here we are, just right there is team BEBE's room. I believe they are still filming. And then they should be making their way to their room right after. " She tells me before smiling and walking away. I bow as much as I can and place down Corey's bag. "We will wait a little while they should be done soon baby".
Bada's POV
After filming my no-respect battle with Redy, I sat down. I just knew she was going to pick me. We have had some tension since we got here. Or at least we do on her part, it seems. We were once a part of a dance crew called Cupcakes together. Then problems happened, and we all went our separate ways. Some of us grew as dancers and others as I could see still carrying those conflicts with them. If she felt I certain type of way, I didn't mean to give her that impression. But I felt better after winning the battle. I sat down and watched Tatter, Lusher, and my other members get into their own no-respect battles. I was proud of them. Ever since we got her, the other crews have been insulting us by saying that the only reason we are famous is because of me. How we have no talent besides me and simply a crew with my talents. Which has been pissing me off, we are all talented, and I'm glad people are seeing that.
After a few more battles, Daniel announced that we would be taking a break, which is much needed right now. I just feel like the teams need a break. Or a stretch, I low-key wanna go home. I miss my wife and my son. Right before I left, I made sure to go inside his room and hug him, which wasn't nearly enough time, in my opinion. Eventually, the cameras turned off for a moment, and everyone stopped with all the fake beefing and started talking with their crews and other crew. "You all were good out there ok, don't overthink. Or think about anything these people are saying you're good dancers and we just have to keep showing them what you all are made of. " I look at my crew while smiling until I hear a bunch of people mumbling about something. Then I see all the crews going to be nosy. I get up and see Halo of Wolf'lo and Mina of Deep N' Dap all excited. The rest of the crews start to gather around.
I make my way over to the circle people with BEBE following right behind me. Then ask Babysleek, "What's going on?" She looks at me and smiles someone on set, brought a cute baby here." I stare at her, trying to figure who's kid is she talking about. Then I look to the side and hear, "O, she is a foreigner. Do you think she speaks Korean. I don't know, probably not. The baby looks like it could be part korean, though. Maybe she is here to visit her husband. Do foreigners always show off their pregnancy? Yea, i think it's not a korean thing for sure. Well, whoever he is, that man is lucky she is gorgeous".
As soon as I hear about a foreigner walking around with her belly showing, I smile. They think she is married to a man, funny. Too bad for the guys here she is mine. Eventually, the crowd moves around, and I see my son. I wait for a while to see if he will spot me before I reach out to him. Then he looks up at everyone smiling, and the crowd starts to have a heart attack. Amazing what babies can do, am I right? He turns over and looks at finally spots me. He starts running towards me, yelling. "Mama, Mama, is here." He says while running towards me. The crowd turns and looks around confused due to his mother being right next to him the whole time, trying to find out who he is calling Mama. Then, when he grabs my leg, everyone looks around, shocked before laughing and gushing at the baby. I hear JJ yelling, "She is actually MOTHER, OMG, I CAN'T TAKE THIS."
I laugh at her before grabbing my son and picking him up. And hugging him while kissing all over his face. He starts giggling and keeps saying Mamma. Then I look over to my wife and say, "What are you doing here, my love?" She stares at me at smiling while holding her hips. "We were waiting for you in the crew room, but I guess Corey got bored." She says while staring at me, biting her lips. I know that look on her face all too well. Then I move towards her and grab her waist, and kiss her. I've never been afraid of PDA, especially when you are married to a woman with curves to spare at this point. I hear everyone start cheering me on as I kiss her. She looks at me and says, "Corey didn't wanna eat because his mamma wasn't there to feed him, like she usually is." I look at her, then glance down at her outfit and start to bite my lips.
I grab her hand while still carrying Corey, and we make our way towards the crew room. We then sit down, and Corey jumps out of my arms and starts to play with his toys. I then turned around to grab her hips before she could make her way to sit on the couch. "You caused a whole show out there, didn't you, baby?" She looks at me and smiles." I was trying to wait for you to help with our parent duties, or did you forget Ma'am?" I squeezed her hips while kissing her neck. "Yes, of course I remember Mrs. Lee, you look way to good in this dress baby". She laughs at me and tries to back up before I grab her again. "What do you have a pregnancy kink or something?". I grab her neck and continue kissing her.
"No, but I definitely have a you kink. Walking around looking so good. The entire set got a glance at you before me, I don't know how to feel about that baby. You just look too good to be seen by anyone other than me. " She finally managed to push me off of her and says "I would like you to tend to you to our son, and maybe, just maybe Mama will get an award. " I look at her nodding and smirking. "I'm getting that sweetheart. Just know that. That dress is the reason you're gonna be crying later. Just wanna warn you, baby. " I say while picking up Corey, getting ready to feed him.
"Yea, yea, whatever, Mrs. Lee, "she says before smiling at me and sitting in a chair while slowly opening her legs and showing me she isn't wearing any underwear. I hold onto our son a little tighter before chuckling, "Yea, you're going to get it. I'm gonna make you beg me to stop".
"I guess we'll see, won't we Mrs. Lee". She says as I continue to feed Corey. "Yes, we will, Mrs. Lee. We surely fucking will".
(Just in case yall were confused, Cassie was filming for one of those korean parents' shows, that's why the camera was following her and her son)

who do you love more me or your appa?
Jieun was in the living room scrolling on her phone mindlessly as seungkwan was watching the volleyball tournament on the television when the female member heard the small steps, the girl looked up from her phone to see the small white fur ball coming towards her with recognition.
‘Kkuma, my daughter.’ Cupid greeted as she lifted up the dog with adoration.
‘Kkuma give me a kiss.’ Cupid asked as she tapped on her cheek the girl smiled when she felt kkuma lick her on the cheek.
‘Kkuma paw.’ Cupid instructed showing her hand getting the pups paw in return, seungkwan who saw the scene was amused seeing how his leader was pouting.
‘Kkuma, who do you love me or appa?’ Cupid asked getting a woof as an answer (you).
‘Thats not fair.’ Seungcheol denied.
‘Hyung its okay, everyone doesn’t have to like you.’ Seungkwan teased and cupid decided to kiss kkuma adding fuel to the fire until seungcheol got and an idea.
‘How about this let's let kkuma decided who she loves more by who she walks towards to.’ Seungcheol said getting nods from the two.
seungkwan held kkuma at the starting point as seungcheol and cupid stood at a further distance.
