I'm not finding myself all too tired tonight. Ricky, Mange and I are taking a night stroll.
Paldea has such clear weather in comparison to home. I'm used to burning hot sun, or pouring storms... it's beautifully balanced here.
Maybe I'll get a bite to eat, too. There has to be SOME place that has more than sandwhiches.

I’m feeling so bad for this little guy. We had to do an emergency take-in last night. Someone dropped off this skitty they had found on the side of the road and she is not feeling well! We gave her some medicine and wrapped her up to break her fever. Please send well wishes for this little one as she begins her road to recovery.
We’re thinking of calling her Miracle.

I'm literally crying right now and I can't explain why. One of the other research assistants offered to make me tea when I came back from the route because I apparently looked like a mess. When I saw the Illumina Meganium for the first time... I don't know. I can't put it into words. It felt like a transcendent experience. I know this isn't scientific language, but it felt...holy.

This should be a PSA. I swear, things like that cause so much damage! They didn't start with the bare minimum of training at home and then got surprised by the result. (I should put up posters.)

Train your fucking pokemon before challenging people to battles. I just got bit by some 20-something's shinx because I wanted to entertain them when they challenged me. They're lucky I don't need stitches and my delibird didn't kill their pokemon for that.

I FOUND A FOSSIL I FOUND A SWEET FOSSIL!! YOU NEVER FIND FOSSILS IN PALDEA
Well. Not intact ones. And there really isn't many, given the walking fossils we know and love (and should not be touched. Stay out of the hole) and the fact there's not a whole lot of places to find them.
I'm not an expert (yet), but I think it's a Sheildon?
No places around here to help with a fossil... just me. Sucks to be a Paleontology/Archeology nerd here 😔

I'm not usually this cranky. This was just a real occurence today and if one more person lets their foreign Pokémon run up at the wild ones with you being two meters away staring at their phone, in my corner of Paldea, I might cause problems.
The best part of this proffesion is when some trainer gets in my face about telling him the regulations, I can just take off my hearing aides and watch them get red in the face over it.
Like I'm sorry but no, you can't let your Paras run wild and free across a feild full of bug types. Oh, you want to yell at me over it? Sorry buddy, can't hear you.
