I 3D MODELED KIWI SNIPER YES
That artwork by @redmarqar made me lose my shit and I realized that if I don’t turn him into a low-poly 3D thingy right here and now I’d DIE on spot. So I sat down and made this in one evening!

my foot tendinitis has gotten worse after seven weeks of wearing a walking boot and i’m afraid i’ll have to get surgery 😭
#personal#and it’s just terrible timing!#work’s about to get extra crazy and my boss says she’s trying to hire support for my time but right now it’s only my sister and i#my cat seems to have a digestive issue that makes him ravenous at all times#already spent over a thousand on x-rays and ultrasounds and will probably have to spend a couple thousand more on an endoscopy#he keeps sneaking onto the kitchen counter and driving my deaf dog to distraction#i’ve been taking a break from training so i can spend less time on my feet but now she’s displaying compulsive behaviors#and seems to be in the middle of a mental breakdown#but if i do have to have surgery i don’t want to put it off#it’s been hurting for 1.5 years and is affecting my ability to exercise; my ability to work full hours; my mood; pretty much everything#😭 sorry i just needed to vent

#august draws#comics#ive been sitting on this since december lmao. worked on it on and off all semester#tbh i probably should have spent more time on it over winter break but i wanted applications DONE by the end of the semester#did NOT wanna worry about em on vacation#of course as of late ive been working on my senior project instead so am i really relaxing#(im relaxing. its like 1.5 hours per day at the most the way ive scheduled everything)#spring semester tho... thats when i really wont get to relax#this fucking project is gonna take me ages#its gonna be BEAUTIFUL and im gonna be SO proud of it but christ. i have like 10 weeks to hand-letter and illuminate 17 pages#in the style of the book of kells which is like the most intricate fucking manuscript ive ever seen#through gritted teeth it will be worth it. it will be worth it .it will be worth it. it w#anyway this comic was partly inspired by my parents' move and having complicated feelings about Home and Family#i wish id spent more time on the backgrounds but i am quite pleased with most of it#and the perspective in the bleed panel on the second page. i did a BALLER job with that#hopefully it gets me somewhere!!
