So, we all know that Shak Graa committed genocide on the humans, but why??? I always was confused as to why, with the canon reason basicly being he was bullied as a kid, so he killed everyone. I don’t like this reason, and made up my own.

So, magic is a natural resource/elemant in inner space. Basicly, it’s just a normal thing that exists and has always existed. Everything in innerspace has evolved with this, and basicly everything uses magic in some way to be alive. (Think of it as like, a vitamin or something. If it’s not there something might not really be affected, or it might get a little weak, possibly even die, depending on the thing.) Overtime, the amount of magic in innerspace has depleated, making difrent species become endangered, and some going extinct.

In innerspace, there used to be a few difrent humanoid/inteligant species other than humans, but they all depended on magic way more than humans did, so their populations dwindled and they died off. Eventually, only the lizard people and humans were left.

Since magic is a naturally occurring resource, humans of course harnessed it to make technology and other things, further depleeting it.

Shak Graa is a lizard person, (fun fact, They naturally have a longer life span than humans) and he grew up spent with biological parent till he was a young teenager, but then they died, and he was alone. Some humans found him, and took him in. They weren't good though, and he was bullied most places he went because he was different and weird. He saw what humans were doing with magic, and tried to speak out about how they were using what little magic they had left for stupid things, and it was killing everything. They didn't listen, and he kept trying, but it never worked.

He built non-magic alternatives, but most people rejected it, and kept using their magic versions. Shak Graa saw what was happening, and blamed the humans for his people and the other races dying, and decided to fix the problem at it's source. Of course, by killing everyone.

This started a war that lasted hundrads of years. Shak Graa leading an army of robots (droids) and some other humanoids. This in turn caused more weapons and military gear to be made for the war, causing Shak Graa to be more determined to kill them all.
