I was really surprised because I really thought that more than 90% of you guys were gonna choose the last option.

But we all like to matter and give our opinions on things and although this is a blog that I try to keep fairly objective apart from small comments here and there, I'm happily surprised most of you guys want to know stuff about the person behind this blog.

My favourite DC ship is actually pretty common:

Yes. Jondami. Jonathan Kent and Damian Wayne. Almost all fanfictions I read are either Jondami, general or Damian/Jason (all of them both romantic or as friends - I don't care, I just love their dynamics so much!).

In case you haven't guessed yet: Yes. I'm an absolute Damian fan. Like... I don't read DC fanfictions without him at all. Jason comes in second but Jon is lovely, too.

Now, you might be wondering (or not) why I haven't done any charts with Jon yet if he's one of my favourite characters... the reason is simple. He's a tagging nightmare on Ao3.

I started looking into that more closely recently though and I will upload two things the following weeks: A tagging "guide" for Jon as a character specifically and a general tagging guide for Ao3. No worries, I'll keep it short and simple.

I'd love to know how you think about Jondami though!!

if you had to pick a second-favorite ship for robin and raven, who would you pick? i've always enjoyed kyd wykkyd and raven as a crack ship lol

i really like most raven ships! cyborg/raven, starfire/raven, jericho/raven, kid flash/raven, terra/raven....kid wykkyd/raven is fun too!

for robin/dick grayson it really just depends on the version! i like robin/starfire often and robin/batgirl in certain shows more than others. also robin/cyborg and robin/terra :)

How I feel about this character

My darling, lovely, space princess warrior. She was everything I wanted to be as a kid and i still kind of want to be just like her lmao. She’s a great, deep, character, even if you only look at her 2003 cartoon self, and I will not stand for any slander or characterization. Starfire deserves everything.

All the people I ship romantically with this character

Robin, Terra, Cyborg, Peter Parker, Eddie Brock, Rocket Raccoon, Rorek, aaaand kinda-sorta Nightcrawler. Gonna explore that.

My non-romantic OTP for this character

Raven, Jinx, Kyd Wykkyd

My unpopular opinion about this character

I liked her 2015 solo. Is it perfect? No. But it was kinda like cotton candy, and it was fun for me to read. I totally get why some people didn’t care for it tho.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

I’m fucking tired of DC treating her how they do in the comics. Get her in a girl group team already. If you give her a solo again, make it heavier and more in touch with the themes that often go with Starfire. Let her get over Dick Grayson already ffs, we get it DC everyone over there ships Dick/Babs but just let Starfire move the fuck on. Give her a girlfriend.

Make that Girlfriend Atlee.

Or just merge with Marvel and let her date Spider-man.

If we’re talking the cartoon im super sad still they didnt give her a season. She deserved one, and her backstory was plenty to work with. Let her reunite with Ryand’r. cmon.

So, recently another user on DeviantArt complimented my drawing style but also suggested I outline my art to make it stand out more. I’d been thinking about this for a while but was too scared to try. As a result of this comment, I finally became brave enough to give it a go and look what I achieved - four fabulous looking Teen Titans drawings! My kudos to the artist who encouraged me to take the plunge. The first one is a genderbender of Brother Blood (following on from the drawing I did of genderbent Mad Mod and Mumbo Jumbo). Then there’s a Halloween drawing I did of Gizmo, Jinx and Kyd Wykkyd dressed as Oogie’s boys from the Nightmare Before Christmas (how come nobody’s seen the resemblance before?!) I also did a picture of Raven and Terra singing “The Girl Is Mine” (or rather “The Boy Is Mine”) by Paul McCartney and Michael Jackson as an answer to the silly BBRae vs BBTerra ship wars. Lastly, we have my first drawing of Mas y Menos, the adorable Guatemalan twins - who remind me of the Vegimals from Octonauts!

I think Jericho isn't very popular so you might not be that interested in this chart but I always liked Jericho (despite only knowing him from the Teen Titans show and not the comics) and I find his power (possessing other people) quite interesting.

He was involved romantically with Raven as well as Kole at some point but later comes out as gay... in fact I really thought that the ship JW/Kyd Wykkyd would be more popular... but then again... that's hard to write with both of them being mute or not speaking.

JW/David Isherwood is canon too btw.
