An Ocean Away

okay. i know i made a joke about it literally in the answer to my last ask. however. i have decided to actually start doing little mini fics that i either a) started years ago and never finished, or b) are ideas from/based on something from years ago that i wrote in the spur of the moment

this one happens to be the second option: based on this clip from april of 2021!! throwback to baaaaby baby george omg i love him so much my little man. definitely took some creative liberties with the clip inspiration, but, pretty close still nonetheless :)

i’m excited to keep this going here and there!! there have been a lot of concepts i’ve been meaning to do for ages but thought maybe they’re too outdated to do (especially anything smp related) so maybe this will give me a good reason to get those done <3 that’s about all i have to say, so i hope everyone likes the fic!!

“George, check discord,” Dream’s tired voice crackled through the microphone, lighting a fire in George’s chest from an ocean away. He blinked back into reality, having fallen into a trance watching BadBoyHalo wander around the SMP for the last 10 minutes, curled up in front of his computer in his dimly lit bedroom. He scooted his chair in, pushing his fingers out of the sleeve of his too-big hoodie, pulling at the blanket over his legs to make sure it didn’t catch under the wheels of the chair as he moved. He clicked off Bad’s stream, navigating to his and Dream’s discord messages, the preview notification letting him know that Dream had sent him a photo about two minutes prior.

It was a piece of fanart.

It wasn’t anything too drastic– Dream with his arms wrapped around George from behind, fingers pressing into his ribs, lips close to his ear, presumably whispering something that would make George’s stomach flip about as much as it did in that moment, while George pushed him away, his face bright pink with a huge, shy smile– but Dream knew exactly what he was doing by sending it to him.

Had Dream lost his mind?

He wasn’t able to stop the shy giggle that made its way out of him, but he bit his bottom lip hard as soon as it escaped, smiling so wide it almost hurt his cheeks. He squirmed in his chair, one foot landing back on the ground as he adjusted himself, pushing himself to sit straighter, then slumping back down, pushing his chair a few inches back, then closer towards the desk, before finally settling on using his toes to twist the chair side to side nervously.

He clicked off their messages, into his and Bad’s, then into their group chat, before landing back on Dream’s, the image sending a new wave of flustered energy through him when it graced his presence again, making his flustered giggling return at full force.

“What’s going on over there, Captain Giggles?” Bad asked, chuckling himself, unable to ignore George’s intermittent laughter any longer. The nickname alone made his chest flutter again, bouncing his leg, growing antsy and shaking his head at no one.

“No, nothing, s’nothing, Dre– Dream’s just…” He stuttered, adjusting his headset over his ears and shifting his microphone around.

“He’s what?” Bad pressed, a smile audible in his voice, and George momentarily wished he could go back in time and slap himself before he ever met the two of them, but Dream’s laugh pulled him back down again.

“Yeah, what am I, George?” Dream asked, smug, and George could tell from the way his voice sounded that he had sat up straighter in his chair– taller, more alert, more confident.

“Just… an idiot,” George muttered, speech slurred and jumbled, both from how sleepy he was and how flustered he was. Dream and Bad both laughed at his reply, moving on with their own conversation about something else on the server that George was only kind of paying attention to.

He clicked on the message bar on the bottom, beginning to type out a reply, before deciding that his keyboard was much too loud and his monitor was much too big and bright to be doing that on, so he migrated back to Bad’s stream and returned it to full screen, before grabbing his phone and finding his home in Dream’s discord messages there instead. While his phone was much smaller, it was much closer to him, and the same photo shocked him for a third time, making the butterflies in his tummy flutter rapidly and forcing him to let out another quiet giggle. From there, his fingers flew, his hands clammy and shaky as they held the device close.

He couldn’t think of much else to type. He still smiled, though, when he heard Dream let out a chuckle from the other end of the call, followed by the clacking of his keyboard, clearly much less shy about it than George was.

George squirmed in his seat again, pulling the sleeves of his hoodie over his fingers again, crossing his arms over his chest as he pulled his legs up again, curling his toes around the edge of the chair and muffling more breathy laughter into his arm.

“George,” Dream prompted during a lull in his and Bad’s conversation, and George dreaded what would follow, his nerves just barely starting to get back to normal. “You still there?”

“Yeah, I’m here,” He replied, collected, albeit still sleepy, furrowing his eyebrows. “Why?”

“You haven’t said anything in a few minutes,” He finished, and George knew instantly that he was still messing around– he wasn’t free from Dream’s grasp just yet.

“Oh, sorry. Just tired, I think, but I’m still here,” He replied, as Bad answered a couple questions from chat in the meantime.

“Good,” Dream said back, clearly smirking, and George was embarrassed to admit how quickly that reply got him right back where his nervousness started.

Seconds later, his phone screen lit up again, alerting him of a new discord message.

One word, and Dream already had more nervous giggles bubbling up in his chest. He had George wrapped around his finger– and they both knew it.

yeah?

George let out a sigh, willing himself to calm down, eternally grateful that his camera wasn’t on. He could feel the heat on his face, helplessly aware that his flushed skin would be incredibly obvious and visible, even with the awful lighting from his computer monitor and the single, warm-toned lamp he had turned on in his room.

is that how you’re gonna react when i get to actually tickle you for the first time?

Any resolve George had hoped to hold onto flew out the window as soon as Dream hit send.

His embarrassed giggles returned again, even more nervous than they already were– which George didn’t even know was possible until it happened. They came out higher pitched, squeaky, completely involuntary, and he couldn’t stop it if he wanted to. He slapped a hand over his mouth, practically melting against his chair, resting his elbow in his desk and slumping down to hide in it. He dropped his other foot to the floor now, both legs bouncing nervously, as he stayed curled up with his head in his arms, mentally begging for the carpet below him to open up and swallow him whole.

“Oh my goodness, George, are you okay?” Bad asked through fond laughter, and George let out a groan, peeking one eye up to watch as Bad’s chat flew faster than his tired brain could process, filled with messages about his laughter and Dream’s smug responses and theorizing about what could be causing both of those things. “What set you off like that?”

“I sent him something,” Dream explained after recovering from his own smug laughter, voice smooth and sickeningly sweet, a tone that George recognized immediately, harkening back to their late nights discord calls with just the two of them where Dream would tease him in the exact same way. This only made George want to crawl into a hole even more, but he was still thankful that Dream wasn’t making him explain what had happened, because he might have actually died.

His thankfulness was short lived, however, when Dream reminded him that he was still insane, and still thrived off making George squirm and whine from thousands of miles away.

“Can I send it in the group chat, George? To show Bad?” Dream asked, and George had to bite his lip to stop himself from whining in response, reminding himself that they were still live, so he had to try to contain himself, even if Dream was making it so hard to do so just by existing and talking the way that he did.

“I hate you,” Was what he decided on instead, muttered softly into the sleeve of his hoodie that kept him comfortably warm and fuzzy– not a yes, not a no, enough for Dream to make a decision. He heard Dream chuckle, the sound vibrating through his chest and squeezing around his heart, another whimper threatening to escape his throat before he swallowed it down. He heard a few clicks, then watched the screen of his phone light up again, where it had been abandoned on the side of his desk.

George felt the warmth spread through his chest again, feeling his lips form a small pout as he read each message as they came through. He squirmed and altered his position again, pulling the sleeves of his hoodie over his hands and picking his legs up, curling up under the blanket and scooting closer to his desk so he could still reach his keyboard and mouse.

He turned off his phone and placed it face down on the desk as he took a few seconds to get cozy again, shifting and squirming and wiggling, adjusting his hoodie, glancing between Bad’s stream and his now unoccupied hands in his lap, fidgeting with his fingers bashfully.

“Bad, check the group chat,” Dream said, and George let out a huff of air, his breathing somewhat regulated again even as his head grew dizzier and his poor tummy fluttered with butterflies. He heard Bad gasp, a smile audible in his voice when he spoke next.

“Is that what I think it is?” He asked excitedly, and Dream hummed in confirmation. “Oh, that is so cute, that’s really cute.”

“Who is that, George?” Dream asked softly, and if George was in the same room as him, he could have shot lasers at him through his eyes. “Is that me and you?”

“Dream…” George whined, pulling the collar of his hoodie over his mouth to hide his giggles.

“Can I show that on stream?” Bad asked, and George’s stomach flipped, protests leaving his mouth before he even registered the question.

“No, no, no! Nohoho, no,” He whined, no fight in his voice, but still shaking at the thought of something like that being shown to their audience. He knew Bad wouldn’t do anything like that without his undeniable permission, but it was still enough to make him giddy and nervous all over again.

“C’mon, Georgie, let him show it,” Dream teased, and George shook his head at nothing once again.

“Nohoho! No, no,” He continued to protest, feeling the tension and anxiety rise in his chest, starting to get slightly nervous about continuing their activities in front of an audience.

George always prided himself on being able to control a situation on stream, making sure things would go a certain way, or at least be able to wrangle things back in if someone like Dream or Sapnap or Bad decided to tease and mess with him to fluster him, but this was a different situation. He wasn’t sure how much longer he would be able to keep himself from completely falling into Dream’s trap, and with Bad there as well, it would only happen even faster. He still trusted them to know they would take care of it, but the thought worried him nonetheless.

“Can I at least describe it to them?”

“No! No, you can’t, you can’t,” George squirmed in his seat, running his fingers through his hair. He huffed again, biting his lip nervously, anxious energy turning antsy again.

“Alright, alright, I’m just teasing. I’m not gonna show it,” Bad reassured, and George hummed in acknowledgment. “But it’s a very cute piece of fanart, George, I’m glad I could see it. Did you commission someone for that?”

“Wh– no–!” George stuttered, giggling in surprise, not expecting the question. Dream chuckled too, answering much more eloquently.

“No, no. Obviously he didn’t,” He said, slow and soft, voice thick like honey once again, and George melted at his tone like a lovesick baby kitten, collapsing in his chair for the millionth time that night.

“Well, either way, it’s very, very adorable. I love it a lot, I saved it already on my phone,” Bad explained, the words flowing through George’s ears in slow motion.

“Y-you…” He stammered again, processing that Bad actually saved the drawing of Dream tickling him to his phone, and he broke into shy, squeaky giggles again. The other two let him wind himself down, kindly letting him breathe for a moment, and George decided that was as good a time as any to click into their group chat and type out another message.

His fingers trembled over the keyboard, and he squeezed his fists together, hoping it might help to calm him down slightly. He heard Bad chuckle through the call, answering another question from a donation, before a response came through.

He replied, knowing he wasn’t making as much sense as he’d hoped, but confident that the other two would understand him. Dream’s response came first, reassurance over everything else.

George let out a soft sigh, ashamed to admit how much the simple words calmed him. Bad’s response came next,

Immediate relief flooded over him, followed by the sudden realization that he had technically just asked Bad to end his stream so he and Dream could focus more on teasing him, which he did not think through when he started typing. When he started giggling again, even as Bad tried to talk to chat and had to mute the call to do so, Dream couldn’t help but comment on it.

George bit his lip, typing up a quick reply,

He heard Dream chuckle at his message, and the group chat stayed still for a few moments. Eventually, George watched Bad’s stream go offline, and he returned to the discord call once more.

“So,” He began, and George was already laughing before he even finished. “Where were we again?”

What program and file size do you use?

If you use a font, what font is it?

How far ahead do you recommend playing?

Hi!! :D

1) I use Clip Studio Paint! Unfortunately not a free program, but I'm very very fond of it. Definitely recommend it to anyone who has the money! My file size is about 1680px wide, I believe? With varying heights. I definitely wouldn't recommend doing it that way, but it's what works for me so :')

2) I made the font myself, actually! Highly recommend doing that tbh, it's a happy medium between getting something handwritten looking without having to spend a thousand years writing haha :D There are probably a hundred websites out there that let you make you own font, but I used Calligraphr

3) It depends! For me playing to about 12-15 moons ahead with a minimum of 6 moons works really well with my style and workflow. Makes me able to cobble together these small interpersonal plotlines while also letting me occasionally play and get new drama to get invested in these characters all over again about. But if I were going for something with a major overarching plot, I would probably go a lot further ahead, if not straight up take the playthrough as far as I'd want it/until a game over just to not risk rng screwing with my plans

4) I would suggest looking up comic panelling tips in general for a better explaination than what I can offer, but I'll try to explain my basic process :'D I mostly go by heart, but I do like to sometimes follow this rule of thumb I like to call the 'Z'

When we read text, we learn to go from left to right, then back to left at a slight diagonal to get to the next line. By following that simple shape when placing characters and especially text, it makes it flow much more naturally to us. And when your pages flow well, you get to break that flow when you want a scene to feel more tense! I tried doing that with the last two panels of the page above and I really liked how that came out :D

Another couple of tips is 1) try not to make the panels too uniform 2) if you want to use two panels for one scene, slanting the side of a panel can make it feel like they flow into each other better, like matching two puzzle pieces if that makes sense 3) small overlapping panels are great for reaction shots and so fun to do!

And lastly, don't be afraid to break the panel border!

It can add a lot of momentum and impact if used right! Plus it's so fun to do <3

5) No sorry, I don't do lighting/shading in my comics at all :'D

6) I have a couple posts here and here describing my own process a bit! But otherwise I'd like to refer to whisper-cats' response to this same prompt, it's pretty in depth and I think they give some really solid advice here!

7) Not particularly, just find a style that works for you the best. I don't do a lot of backgrounding, but when I do, it's in this lineless limited palette style because that's just my favourite kind of background to make

I do highly recommend trying to limit how much time you spend on a background. Don't burn yourself out on one panel because then you'll never wanna finish the whole page!

And for 8), I dont use references so sadly I can't give you any good recommendations there either :')

1. Ceratosaurus - Favorite character design from both series? (Also who in your personal opinion, had the best glow up from CC to CT)

AW MAN THIS IS SUPER HARD. of the nublar 6 my favorite designs in camp cretaceous are tied between yasmina and brooklynn from s3 onward, mostly because i love the way they both wore their hair. in chaos theory darius totally wins over everyone else though, the team really nailed his design there (but i am really fond of some of the concepts the artists came up with during pre-production! same goes for the other campers, especially brooklynn. that bleach blonde pixie cut is my roman empire tbh)

as for biggest glow up ... i feel obligated to give that one to ben, if just because of the growth spurt. also gonna take this opportunity to go on the record and say LEAVE KENJI ALONE I GET THAT HE'S SUPPOSED TO LOOK A BIT ROUGH BUT HIS HAIRCUT ISN'T THAT BAD 😭😭😭

2. Dilophosaurus - How did you discover Camp Cretaceous?

so, i didn't actually start watching camp cretaceous until a few months after the final season wrapped up—i think sometime around september 2022? but i had some close friends who had been keeping up with it for a while, and after hearing them talk about it so much i was like, hey, i want in! which is funny, because i was never really into jurassic park/world before then? i was more of a marine biology kid than a dino kid growing up. but even without knowing the ~lore~ of the franchise, CC and its characters still managed to reel me in, and now i'm here nearly two years later and my hyperfixation is still going strong!

3. Compy - Favorite duo/trio/friendship and why?

favorite purely platonic duo goes to ben and yasmina EASILLYYYY. they just get each other on such a personal level, and i love seeing ben go from this kid yasmina begrudgingly tolerates to someone she trusts enough to confide in, both in JWCC s5 when she realizes she might harbor romantic feelings for sammy, and then again in JWCT s1 when her relationship with sammy has hit a rough patch. shout out to yasmina and darius though, their interactions in JWCC s2 were really sweet, they don't get enough love imo. i've said this at least three billion times before but if kenji is darius's shitty older brother then yasmina is darius's cooler older cousin

as for my favorite trio, i feel like most people would probably say either yasammy + ben or the original three (darius kenji and brooklynn) but for me it's darius brooklynn and ben 🥹 their individual dynamics all mean so much to me, and it doesn't hurt that i also lowkey highkey ship them as an OTV with darius in the middle (although if i had to seriously ship ben with any of the girls, it'd be brooklynn, lol)

I need to get some blood work done and I hate the experience so much, so to make me feel better, here’s some kuroo fluff. I don’t wanna hear anything about how soft this is. I don’t respond well to tough love or logic at all when I'm anxious, I need the softness.

gn!reader, no physical description. tw: blood, needles, hospital/drs office setting. slight anxiety/panic. very fluffy, maybe a little bit TOO fluffy tbh. extremely self indulgent, but what else is new on this blog? lowercase intentional. @emmyrosee I recycled a couple ideas from that one kuroo ask I sent you a while back, I hope that's okay :')

“I can take the day off of work, I don’t mind.”

you sighed into your mug, one that the man sitting on the other side of the table had gifted you. it was halloween themed, and (very ironically, considering your current situation) had vampire fang designs all over it, many with blood dripping from them.

“I appreciate that, but I would never ask you to.”

kuroo slightly frowned. “you don’t have to ask me, baby, I’m offering.”

he watched as your own brow furrowed, resisting the urge to lean over and smooth it out with his thumb. he tried again. “I know how much you hate blood work. I don’t want you to have to deal with it alone.”

a feeling of guilt started bubbling in your stomach. “tetsu, that’s exactly it, though. I don’t like it, but I’m old enough now to be able to do it alone…” you paused and shook your head before editing your sentence. “I should be able to do it alone by now without spiraling.”

he sighed and gave you a sympathetic look. “baby, there’s no expiration date on fear, or a set age that you’re supposed to get over something by,” he took your hand and rubbed his thumb over it. “you’re scared, and that’s okay. as your fiancé, I’m not going to let you suffer through that alone.”

you took your bottom lip in between your teeth and mulled it over. he tried to hide a fond smile as he watched the wheels in your pretty head turn.

truthfully, he already booked that day off work. you didn’t know yet, but as soon as you had told him the date of your appointment, he had reserved that as a personal day on his schedule.

he’d never call you predictable, but when it came to things relating to your fears, he knew you needed some emotional support- whether you voiced it or not.

finally you looked up at him again with a hesitant, slightly guilty expression. “you really don’t mind taking time off work for this?”

he brought your hand up to his lips and kissed your knuckles. “for you, my love? never.”

and a week later, on the day of your appointment, he did everything he could to prove it to you further.

your appointment wasn’t until noon, so he made sure to spend the entire morning pampering you, distracting you enough so that you didn’t even have time to let the anxiety build up.

any time he noticed a faraway look in your eyes, he’d lean over and kiss your face until you laughed, really making sure to exaggerate the noises to embarrass you a bit.

and you recognized his efforts to keep you in good spirits, trying to meet him halfway. usually when you had a big nerve wracking event approaching, you were used to isolating yourself and trying to calm down alone. pushing through and wishing you could stay in control of your anxieties long enough to get through it and beating yourself up when you couldn’t.

however, since meeting kuroo, you didn’t have to do that anymore. when you first got together, you rejected any help he tried to give you. but once he realized that you just weren’t used to people giving you the emotional support you needed… that you were used to the opposite- being shamed for those feelings, he was able to navigate things better.

and along the way you realized that letting someone in was much healthier for you. so in an effort to keep that up, you let him take the wheel, figuratively and literally.

on the way to the doctor’s office, he played music and purposefully sang along badly, all in an attempt to make your life a little easier.

and it worked, because your brain had completely rejected any thoughts of worrying about the bloodwork.

until you had to sit in the waiting room, that is.

he could feel the anxiety rolling off of you as you waited to be called, and despite everything, he couldn’t help but feel a bit useless. all he ever wanted to do for you at any given time was make sure that you were happy and stress-free. he felt his heart break a bit as he watched you try to keep a composed demeanor.

so he pressed gentle kisses to your temple and let you play with his fingers. he even clogged up his storage and downloaded a ton of games for you to play if you asked (he knew how fast games drained your phone’s battery, so he gladly sacrificed his).

but he could tell from your crumbling expression and bouncing leg that the nervous butterflies in your stomach were turning into something much bigger.

he noticed a nurse walking down the hall towards the waiting room and quickly whispered something in your ear.

you looked up at him with wide eyes, surprised at his words, which pulled a shocked laugh out of your mouth. “tetsu!” you whisper-yelled at him, not wanting to disrupt the other patients.

he just gave you a charmingly boyish grin in response, squeezing your hand when the nurse called your name.

she lead you both into a small room, and you started shaking a bit.

“please take your sweater off or roll up your sleeve.”

you did what she asked and kuroo settled beside you on the opposite side of the nurse, tracing the palm of your hand.

“oh my- you’re shaking! are you alright?” asked the nurse and you felt hot embarrassment shoot through your body on top of the anxiety.

“um, yeah, I’m okay,” you said quietly, obviously nervous. she seemed to understand and thankfully didn’t make a big deal about it, rather making conversation about other things as she cleaned your arm.

“is this your fiancé? I love your rings, and it’s so sweet that he came with you today… I wish my girlfriend was able to come with me to my appointments.”

you smiled politely at her, and tried not to watch too intently as she got her equipment ready. you didn’t notice the look she gave kuroo, or the nod he returned to her, understanding her secret message. distract them.

that was his plan all along- even if the nurse hadn’t told him to, he would have done everything in his power to get you to focus on him instead of the test.

once he felt you squeeze his hand out of fear and noticed the tears forming in your eyes as the nurse was talking to you about finding a vein, he gently cupped your cheek and prompted your face away.

“hi, pretty, just look at me okay?”

your lower lip wobbled as you nodded, wincing and screwing your eyes shut as you felt the nurse feeling your arm. “make a fist for me, please.”

your hand cooperated and you let out a small noise of discomfort as she got to work.

kuroo stroked your cheek comfortingly and smiled at you when you opened your eyes again. “have I told you that you look absolutely stunning today, baby? just jaw-dropping. incredibly gorgeous. so blinded by your beauty that I should actually be wearing sunglasses right now.”

if it were under any other circumstance, you would have scolded him for flirting with you in front of someone else so unabashedly, but in that moment you were honestly thankful for it. so you shook your head a little.

he gasped. “I haven’t? how awful of me, I’ll make sure to fix that right away.”

and so as the nurse continued to draw blood, with a small smile on her face as she listened to the near one sided conversation, your boyfriend made it his mission to throw every compliment under the sun at you.

"going back to our conversation last night, reason number three hundred and twenty six why I love you: you're so sweet, even if you're not trying to be. you're just a good person through and through, babe."

though it was mildly embarrassing to need a distraction of this intensity, listening to him talk was definitely having the desired effect on you. your eyes were still a bit teary, and your heart was beating fast, but the expression on your face told him that you weren't as focused on the test anymore.

the soft look in his eyes as he tried everything he could to help you was captivating.

he leaned over to give you a quick kiss on the cheek and you huffed in disapproval. he laughed. "don't get shy now, there's still six hundred and seventy four reasons left to get through. I can space them out if you need me to, though. wouldn't want to send your heart into overdrive or anything. I can feel your pulse, don't even try to deny it!"

you were about to respond with what was no doubt going to be an attempt at a snarky comeback, but then the nurse pulled the needle out and pressed a cotton ball over the puncture site. "you're all done! great job."

you blinked at the nurse in surprise and she just smiled in amusement before placing a band-aid on your arm and walking out of the room with the vial of blood.

as soon as she was gone, kuroo tilted your chin up to look at him again. he gave you a big, wide grin and you weren't sure if the lightheaded, dizziness you were experiencing was because of blood loss or affection for your fiancé.

and once you finally made it out of the doctor's office, back into the car, he immediately leaned over the console and pressed yet another flurry of kisses all over your face and neck.

you giggled at him and tried to shove his face away, but he didn't let you, and instead grabbed your hands in his. he slowed down just enough to leave a few lingering kisses on your lips, rubbing his thumbs over your knuckles.

once he was done, he smiled fondly and stared into your eyes as you tried to catch your breath. his expression was as soft as his voice. "I'm so proud of you, baby, that went so well."

you smiled at him in return. "thank you, tetsu, you really helped me today... I'm glad you came with me."

he shook his head. "I told you, it's no problem at all. I'm happy I was able to make things a bit easier for you. Now..." he straightened up in the driver's seat and started the car, but not before giving you one last kiss. "let's get some food in you, and maybe a bit of orange juice, too. I read it's good after getting blood work done."

you nodded and stole one of his hands away from the wheel to hold in your lap. you placed your cheek against his now extended arm and sighed contently.

thinking about the day and how hard he tried to keep you happy and safe... how he did his absolute best to take care of you throughout your panic... there was never a time you couldn't feel the soft, gentle love radiating off of kuroo tetsurou. everything he did was with good intentions, all for you.

after a few minutes of comfortable silence, he felt a pair of eyes on him. at the next red light, he glanced down to see you craning your neck and staring at him with an unreadable expression.

he sent you a sly grin once he deciphered it. "...and maybe tonight, if you're feeling up for it, we can do what I mentioned in the waiting room."

you were one hundred percent certain that the dizziness from earlier wasn't from blood loss now.

oh i love him i love how he’s genuinely just a completely average guy - earth heroes “average guys” tend to always be super geniuses ie. peter parker. but rich is genuinely just a completely average normal dude. he flipped burgers when he wasn’t nova-ing! he barely scraped through high school (again, cause of the nova thing!). he was just a genuinely normal teenager with a complex cause of his super smart little brother. becoming nova was both the best and worst thing to ever happen to him.

Thank god he never made it into the MCU. Since 2006 has been going from strength to strength in the comics (a part from the few years when he was dead!). Since he came back in 2016/17 I don’t think anything he has been in has been bad. PT.1 [ how i felt, what im feeling, what i understood and what i saw ]

where do i begin, AH, ill start off with saying psycho-pass will forever make me so happy and i will always find comfort in this show. i’m so happy to have heard the english dub cast again. 

[ i want to say, my movie experience was pretty piss poor sadly, and tbh, i could not focus AT ALL on the movie, on what i feel like was 85% of the time. there was someone in the theater that was kinda like live commenting on the movie and it was so annoying and really broke the most emotional parts. after the movie i cried quietly a bit because i really have been waiting a year for it just for it to come out and be ruined by someone who could not shut their mouth.... just a psa: if your going to see a movie, please remember the space you are in ]

this is kinda just a ramble so sorry if it doesn't make sense~ 

the movie was truly amazing and TBH REALLY HELPED ME UNDERSTAND SEASON 3 in regards to not only why Akane was in jail but to better understand Arata & Kei. which i have to say, i have gown a little more fond of Arata and makes me wonder what more he is going to do in hopefully the later movies/ or hopefully seasons 

there was a lot that happen like ginoza’s hair flying in the wind and also kogamis wet hair but yeah ill skip to the part that really made me think a lot and the part that i could not stop thinking about Akane’s note to Kougami, and the very end/ the end of the movie being him saying he will get Akane out.

PT.2 [ Akane & Kougami]

NOW Kougami and Akane. wow, the part of kougami covering her from the bomb... we love to see it. KOUGAMI CARRYING HER BRIDLE STYLE AGAIN. WE LOVE TO SEE IT !!!!!!! god,,, any moment where it was just them two i wanted to cry and scream, i really need to relive the movie again alone because it was super super good and my dumbass has a pea for a brain and felt like if  i was to have any real reaction my brother (who so kindly went with me to the movie) would just look at me. 

but really they broke my heart many many times during this movie, kougami calling akane, trying to work his way to say sorry but ended up just being a smart ass and akane saying that she wishes he just said sorry. I WANTED TO SCREAM. i feel like this film was really eveything we have been wanting to see out of the two... i really feel bad for akane i do, i don’t know how to explain it but i feel like she was really never able to truly able to talk to kou. i mean she did in the elevator and during the phone call,,, but since kou never said sorry i feel like she never got to talk to him and i felt like it was really a lot for her and what all she experienced. 

kougami saying that he lives with out regret makes me feel like is what pushed akane to do what she did, i want to say, i really wanted to cry, REALLY wanted to cry when akane wrote a letter to him, kou calling akane an idiot/fool just like she did during season one, maybe i feel like, just how much it effected akane when kou wrote her a letter it kinda had the same effect on him. akane ending up in jail really gave kougami a new push, a push he hasn't had in a while

PT.3 [Gino, Kou, Akane]

going off of that kougami’s care for akane has grown as we know it’s party the reason why he came back to Japan was a way to see her and see how much shes has changed things for the better good. but Ginoza and Kougami talking about her really was truly sweet. Ginoza adores Akane a lot, and dare i say is kinda like an unsaid older brother. i thought it was really sweet to hear that Gionza wants to protect akane and make sure nothing happens to her. but with that being said... i really cant begin to think what ginoza felt after what akane did. 

poor ginoza really, i have gown really fond of him in the years leading up to now, after really seeing and understanding how much he cares for akane and how much he wants the best out of her, and how much he wants to see her grow. the part where gionza pushes kou against the wall in anger (for akane) really was fun to see. kougami not keeping his word (we knew he wouldn't) of saying out of their hair. ginoza, what a silly man. to think kou wouldnt find his way back home.. 

PT.4 [ ill shut up now <3 ]

to end- the way the movie ended and the way season three ended makes me want to cry,, even right now, as i said before, akane gave kougami a drive that it doesn't seem like he has has for a while now. although he has always felt the need to also take care of akane this time was different, he feels like she got there because of him, so its now party his job to get her out, 

but it makes me think of the end of season three and when kougami went to go and pick her up, that, besides saying that he was there to get her he also said sorry the sorry that akane had been waiting to hear for a while... but anyways... i think this movie really helped us better understand what more akane and kougmi relationship has faced, and also i like to think this all happen and now they are on the same level and have a better understanding of each other. kougami and akane are and have for once meet as equals. 

i think, what Akane did was really really smart, a smart way to show the world what is going on behind closed doors and how the system that japan is ran on is- like what any government system is,,, flawed. but also how the Sibyl System can be a good stepping stool to an EVEN better system but there just has to be some changes . BUT i also like to believe that while the sibyl system is evil and crazy i think it has its benefits, but just needs to be used wisely and more as a (again) steeping stool rather then a latter, point being... i think in this movie thats what i feel like what was being made super clear, that there needs to be room for growth for both the sibyl system and using it as a helping hand rather than relying it to fully judge someone.

i bet none of this made any sense, im writing this at 1:15AM after a con weekend with no glasses on :D , but this was my thoughts and my opinions about the movie unbiased... i have not read what anyone else had said, i didn't want what i was thinking to be affected by anyone else. but i cant wait to read some ! i like many of you, have been waiting for this for a really long time now and tbh am super sad that the  movie experience was not 100% it wasn't only the person saying shit though-out the whole movie but it was also bad on the theater i went to part as well,,, and like i said, i want to cry, i really do, my first time seeing the move was shat on and just have a hard time remembering what happened due to my bean for a brain lol... anywho

I’m intrigued by all of these but especially the podcast and the class of 2024 ones because they have the least amount of context clues, I would love some elaboration!

Class of 2024 is a one shot I intend to finish... sometime lol, when I have more time to get back to it. Here's a bit:

“If the damn Krang hadn’t invaded, I’d have been graduating in a few weeks.”

“Oh.” Donnie’s typing finally pauses, and he looks at her. Gives her his attention, and she loves him for it even while the practical part of her wants him to get back to whatever surely critical thing he was just working on. “I guess you would be. Assuming you graduated on time and didn’t have to repeat anything.”

She elbows him in the side, and even though she knows it doesn’t hurt him he jerks back. “I would have graduated on time, Dee.”

“I’m only covering our bases! We can’t know the counterfactual, after all.” She elbows him again.

“Donatello Hamato, you are the worst,” she tells him with all the fondness in the world.

His lips quirk up in a barely there smile. One of his battleshell arms extends and resumes typing, but he hasn’t looked back at it himself so she knows his main focus is still on her.

“Would you have gone to graduation?”

“Hm, probably. I mean, I don’t really care, but Mom-” She’d been about to say that her mom wants to go, present tense, and she just manages to stop herself. It’s crazy that it’s been two years, and still sometimes…

“...Mom would have thrown a fit if I skipped it,” she finally says, past tense, and she catches the way Donnie’s eyes cloud because he knows. God does he know.

They’re both orphans. She pushes the thought aside before she can let it erode all her carefully crafted walls.

“As would the rest of us,” says Donnie now, moving them straight past dangerous territory, and much as she hates that he dodges talking about emotions she appreciates it right now. It’s too damn late - or too early - for that. “You know how much fun we had sneaking into your high school graduation, surely you wouldn’t deny us the chance of a repeat.”

“Only if you promised not to bring the air horns.”

“I can’t promise that.”

“Then consider your chance denied.”

As for the Podcast Sep AU, that's an idea that has grown out of this post I wrote awhile back, except I basically just kept "the boys meet online" and changed everything else about it haha. In this version, April and Donnie have a true crime podcast that theorizes about the mysterious disappearance of Lou Jitsu, and the other three listen to it regularly, and then miscellaneous things happen along the way. It's a bit more angsty and less of a comedy than my original idea because I am myself, though it's still largely intended to be lighthearted as far as separated AUs go.

uh I'll just put some of the notes I posted on discord under the cut:

LEO

Leo calls Hypno Papa or Pop and calls Warren Dad, unless he's being a brat then he calls him Warren (this happens daily tbh)

they lived for awhile off money they each individually had saved up (also maybe Hypno's ratty apartment is Rent Controlled) but eventually they had to start having an active revenue stream so they started stealing

Leo loves stage magic OBVI but he's especially good at sleight of hand tricks and close up magic

so he starts using those skills to pickpocket

his dads don't really like him doing this (mostly out of concern for his safety rather than ethics) but they also can't really stop him unless they confine him to the house and they don't really want to do that so v(._.)v BOYS WILL BE BOYS IG

he gives them most of the money but he keeps some for himself for comics or other random things he wants

when Leo was still pretty little Hypno watched some Lou Jitsu movies out of curiosity, he knew who Lou Jitsu was but had never really watched the movies himself

he likes them alright but they aren't really his thing

but Leo came in and was immediately enthralled by it and became a big fan

Hypno knows LJ is Leo's human "dad" but decides not to tell him because he thinks it will just make Leo sad that he got left behind, also Hypno and Warren aren't even sure if LJ and the other three turtles survived

anyway this is what starts Leo on being an LJ fan and why he eventually finds Donnie and April's podcast

MIKEY

Mikey calls Repo "Boss" pretty much all the time, and Repo mostly calls him kid, occasionally he'll call him Mike

Repo taught Mikey how to read and do basic math growing up but that's pretty much it

so Mikey learns a lot of things from the internet and A LOT OF IT IS NOT CORRECT this will drive Donnie crazy later

Mikey learned about Lou Jitsu from stumbling across some old dvds someone threw out and got interested that way

he spends a lot of his time making art in the junkyard when he's not working for Repo

Dr. Delicate Touch still comes out when he is helping Repo

Repo doesn't get mutated until the time he does in canon but when he does get mutated he's just kinda like "shrug" and moves on with life lol

Mikey thinks it's cool though

also Mikey is a little greasy gremlin child 100% of the time, this will also drive Donnie crazy later

DONNIE

initially I thought April's dad would be out of the picture for whatever reason but I decided he's still here he just works overseas/out of town a lot

when April brought Donnie to Mama O'Neil she called Papa O'Neil like "hey I found a baby and I'm keeping him"

Papa was like ????? so she took a pic with a digital camera and uploaded it and sent it to him because that's what we did in 2005

Papa like that is a wholeass frog

she explained the situation and he was like OKAY GUESS WE HAVE A GREEN SON NOW he was chill with it though

they committed light identity fraud so technically Donnie has a birth certificate and is enrolled in online school

Donnie still invents but he doesn't have the space for it like in canon and also Mama will come after him if he sets anything on fire or explodes anything so a lot of his stuff is smaller atm, but he's been scoping out places he can use as a lab in secret for bigger projects recently

he's also a twitch streamer who uses a video filter over video of his own face to make his movements look more stiff and plasticy and he passes himself off as a vtuber this way

he cheats a lot

April also streams and she gets annoyed by this lol

they both became fans of Lou Jitsu when they were younger and they often traded conspiracy theories about what happened to him

then after binging one or two true crime podcasts they were like HEY WE CAN DO THAT TOO

RAPH

Splinter really is trying his best ok

he's SUPER DEPRESSED that he lost the other kids, especially Donnie and Mikey because like Leo getting lost in the lab explosion is one thing, realistically he can't really help that, but he left the kids alone when he lost Donnie and Mikey and that haunts him forever

he told Raph he was the only one who survived the lab explosion but Raph has very very vague memories of not being alone, then suddenly being alone

he doesn't push it with Splinter but he just has a feeling his siblings are out there

even if he doesn't remember it, this had a bad effect on him and he has a hard time being alone now

of course as Raph's gotten old enough to take care of himself, Splinter has become more distant/more depressed, he loves Raph of course but he's also going through it

Raph trains himself a lot with this idea that he's going to go out and be a hero and maybe even find his brothers, but his anxiety makes it hard for him to actually leave the lair for more than to get groceries or things like that

also Splinter and Raph's lair is like way more dilapidated and not very cozy with no Donnie to help with the mechanical side of things

it's like the most bummer bachelor pad ever in here, they have a mini fridge and it's full of sauces

Raph occasionally gets seen by maintenance workers from a distance so there's all kinds of rumors about him and he's the local cryptid, not that he realizes this (the others will be excited when they put this together)

Raph is just really lonely all the time and when he meets the others through the podcast it's the first time he finds community ;w;

WIP’S:

She’s a Genshin insert i made, I’m not sure what to do with her now that I don’t play the game much🙁 I named her Mari (ik, so original...!) and I designed her character to be about light and life. Her character corresponds with the next character, who im going to Name Ezra for the sake of not confusing anyone.

She’s a hydro polearm user, and is usually found in Sumeru and Liyue. She frequents any gardens or botanical areas found by Ezra, and is usually baking or doing other domestic things for her friends. Def the type to make her fighting really graceful tbh..She’s the more friendly one of the two, and is seen more frequently in public compared to the other.

Another genshin oc (😭😭). I made it that he was a sort of god or spirit of death. As l said before, his name is Ezra. I wanted him and Mari to appear as polar opposites, but actually be really close. Almost sort of a yin yang type of thing. He's more of a shut in, and can be found looking after the plants & wildlife for Mari while she is gone.

I Imagined he would be an electro swords user, but I never actually got into his character as much as I'd like to. As said before, Mari likes to bake) & is found baking for her friend frequently. His favorite dish of hers is the flan, and in return for making him food, he looks out for the animals & special plants she is especially fond of. He's never seen by the public, as some have said that seeing his true appearance drive even the purest souls mad (so edgy!!! & emo 😍!!)

He’s also naked in like all of the drawings I have of him since I never came up with a costume design for him or anything

My twisted prefect and Ruggie bc I’m in love with that furry and that furry only!!! (Tbh during this time was when my art was at its peak, but this one just wasn’t it..😣)

awawawa so tsukasa tenma. world future star. he isn’t too different from canon tbh. he’s still loud as always, got that high ego, got those memory issues and everything. his past isn’t much different from canon either. his goal to be a star still came from wanting to make people smile like shows made saki smile, but he forgets that, etc etc you get how it goes. but yknow. n25 swap. he isn’t doing great.

he tends to set high standards for himself, and he’s been trying really hard to get into the acting scene, but it hasn’t been going well. the constant failures have slowly but surely been weighing on him. he’s got a lot of frustration building up, and all that has definitely hit him in the self esteem department *just a tad*, but he does not acknowledge that! cause of course he doesn’t. he’s tsukasa tenma, he’s going to be a star! a star like him doesn’t have time to worry about stuff like that. all he needs to do is keep pushing forward, keep trying harder and harder, just don’t think about the past and all the constant setbacks and he’ll be fine! probably. he has to be fine after all. what kind of a star would he be if he wasn’t?

saki and toya do notice smth’s up with him, saki especially, but tsukasa being tsukasa he lies to them, both intentionally and unintentionally. by that i mean like. like he genuinely Does Not Know he’s not fine. he is just avoiding thinking about his own negative feelings too much, so he just does not fucking realize. when he’s confronted with the idea that he might not actually be perfectly fine, he’s genuinely confused. so when he’s asked if he’s okay, he says yes, because he’s sure he is. and sure sometimes he gets a little down, and he does intentionally lie to them those times, but its simply nothing his siblings need to worry about, so there’s no point in telling them! they don’t need to know, cause he’ll be okay! he can deal with it on his own, he *has* to deal with it on his own, he’ll (repress it) get over it soon enough! no need to worry them :)

like i mentioned, tsukasa’s also the only one still actively doing theater at the time of the main story. he loves it, he’s dedicated to it, he hasn’t given up on it yet. and he gets to be the one to get hw back into it. yayayayay. i like to think hw is very fond of him, like rui and nene were w/ emu. here’s another one of their group who holds so much passion for theater and loves it, and who hasn’t given up on it. they believe in him. its like living vicariously through him. yk. they might not know each other too well yet, but they hope it goes well for him.

and like idk but the thing about tsukasa and theater is that its So important to him, he’s devoted so much of his life to it, he can’t see himself doing anything else. he doesn’t have a driving motivation for it, he can’t remember it, but all he’s sure of is that he has to reach this goal. so like. when faced with the idea that maybe he *isn’t* good enough to become a star like he wants to, its terrifying to him. so he just. doesn’t think about that. every failed audition, every rejection, every setback is a reminder of that though. main story gets him to his last straw. which is fun!

again. main story ideas are giving me trouble. and i’m still figuring stuff out. so not elaborating too much on what happens. but after a series of events tsukasa remembers and gets the rest of hw on board w/ trying to do shows again. cause like, again they don’t know each other that well but tsukasa does care about them, he wants to make people smile and his friends are included in that. he wants them to enjoy shows again. he wants his friends happy. and w/ enough persuasion hw joins him and yayy they become a theater troupe. yippee :3 

i might have more thoughts to add later. idk. i’d add a fun facts section but i already mentioned everything i had for him in past posts jdhfgdfjkgl

Oops chagrined is not the word I meant to use for the maid. I guess the right term would be... exasperated? The clothing is among the prince’s laundry meaning he wants it to be treated as his own, but the quality of the fabric is noticeably lesser so really he’s just making more work for her by having her wash someone else’s clothing. It’s not until it happens several more times that she clocks in exactly the owner of said less expensive more hardy durable clothes and starts separating Ace’s clean laundry from the prince’s when she finally returns them. (Really it’s just practice for when they’re the king and crown prince and have one room and share everything between them. But it is annoying for now strictly because the disinfectant process differs for the attire of knights, strong enough to easily wash away blood and caked-on grime and would ruin Sabo’s delicate fashion tastes and strip the vivid dyes he so often adorns. Twice the load and twice the work unfortunately but that’s just another great example of Sabo’s selfishness winning out when he demands what can’t possibly be refuted by someone of lower status than he.)

You mentioned wedlock which is funny so now I’m curious if you had any other thoughts on marriage? I guess I’ve always associated marriage with religion and didn’t want to think about god/s for this AU so I disregarded it as something unimportant to the kingdom/culture. If two people are living together then they’re romantically involved and all that shiz yeah? No deep thoughts my head is a vacuum ready to be filled.

I was jesting about chagrined maids but you came back with such a thoughtful follow up about different fabrics and linens that it was such a delightful addition to the initial concept, i love how detailed you are, thinking about the soaps and difference jn treatment that both Ace and Sabos clothes would require, and having to sort those and the effort someone of the servitude status would have to undergo

How different do you think the power dynamic would be between a reader, Chuuya and Dazai? Because even though chuuya might openly challenge Dazai i feel like he is still the one in control and that he has chuuya under his thumb. Which is sad because chuuya is such a loyal man and even though i think dazai has a certain fondness over chuuya, he also wouldnt hesitate to discard him if things came to it :(

honestly, it would basically be bmb HAHAHA like i don’t see chuuya as a sub or even a switch tbh but he very clearly respects dazai even if he doesn’t particularly like him all the time.

ultimately i agree with you on all accounts; dazai is, at his core, an extremely selfish person, and he is more than willing to do what he must to secure the best outcome for himself/what HE wants, irregardless of who he has to hurt or step on to do it. i don’t think that that makes his feelings any less genuine—like you, i think he truly does care for chuuya and has a sincere soft spot for him—i just think it’s more a case of his selfishness outweighs pretty much anything else. like sure, he’s fond of chuuya, but that doesn’t mean he’ll keep him around if he becomes a threat—that fondness isn’t strong enough to counteract his selfishness. if chuuya begins causing problems or threatening whatever it is dazai wants, he’s gone in an instant, personal feelings set aside for whatever dazai’s ultimate goal is.

if you start siding with chuuya too often, he’s gone. if you start to favour chuuya instead of dazai, he’s gone. if you start disobeying and listening to chuuya’s demands and orders over dazai’s, he’s gone. if chuuya starts to push back too hard, and dazai decides it’s too much work to keep him around and keep reigning him in and stomping him down back into some unstable state of ‘submission’, he’s gone.

however, i think chuuya knows dazai really well—perhaps even better than dazai believes he does (although dazai is so fucking perceptive i’m not sure this would even be possible ahaha)—and he’d know which buttons to press and when to keep himself ultimately safe and a part of the relationship, irregardless of the fact that dazai knows just how to get under his skin and chuuya is quick to anger/react. if chuuya really loves you, and he knows his only chance at being in your life and having any part of you at all means he has to share with dazai, means he has to play dazai’s game, then he’ll grit his teeth and fucking do it. for you, and only for you.

i think that as long as chuuya is willing to submit to dazai in some way and allow him to have and own that ‘leader’ or boss title, the relationship works fairly well. i don’t think chuuya necessarily has an issue with authority or being given orders, but i do think he pushes back and challenges things he doesn’t agree with, so that’s where most of their fights or clashes would stem from (aside from the obvious of dazai provoking him simply to get a reaction + entertain himself). it would mostly be concerning matters surrounding you—dazai thinks one thing is best for you, chuuya disagrees and pushes back as hard as he can while still keeping that delicate power balance and enabling himself to stay a part of this relationship. dazai isn’t exactly a tyrant though; not when it comes to chuuya, anyway. he values his opinion and he’ll hear him and his opposing argument out before he makes a final decision. there will be times where chuuya will have to swallow his pride and let dazai do what he wants even if he doesn’t agree with it, and there will be moments where dazai’s impeccable manipulation gets to chuuya and he’s tricked into believing dazai’s in the right and it was him in the wrong all along. ultimately, though, chuuya has enough of a sense of self preservation to know when to back the fuck down.

i think they’d even be able to cooperate at times tbh! and i think they’d both be able to find enjoyment in like, coming up with sexual punishments with you together or coming up with fun surprise outing ideas for you etc <3 because while they both heavily clash in the anime, they also fight like they’re pieces of the same puzzle and can, when they want to, fit perfectly together <3

Hi I’m the anon from the other day who went on a ramble about jikook and the fandom, hope you’re having a good day😊

You’re right that a lot of negativity is on twitter and it’s like its own bubble, it’s always the same in every fandom… and just twitter in general lol it really makes for such a hostile environment. But it’s also really good for getting some sort of overview of fandoms I feel, don’t really get that on any other app. Anyway, I totally understand when you’ve been a fan for a long time the need to step away and toxicity ruining your experience, been there. As a newer fan of something it’s easier to just watch it all go down and not get affected as much, but I try to focus on the positive!

I’ve been having SO much fun becoming a fan watching their content (which seriously, idk if I’ll even get through it all before they all come back… how did new fans ever have time to catch up on old stuff while they were being active in real time too??) But most of all - I can’t believe I’ve been missing out on all this amazing music for so many years! I’ve been somewhat aware of bts for a long time, but never really knew anything or listened to them. After 2020 I assumed it was all Dynamite type stuff, so the chock when I came across Set me free pt 2 and Agust D was real, in the BEST way!

I’ve grown so fond of so many of the group songs, and even the ones I didn’t initially love keep growing on me. I have a new fave every day it seems! They really are so so good and diverse. And as for solo, I love some songs from all of them, but Yoongi and Jimin are the most interesting to me music wise. Hobi too tho, absolutely LOVE some of his songs. Love Fri(end)s too, Namjoons new album keeps growing on me, The Astronaut makes me emo every time I hear it, some of JK’s songs are bops for sure even if I don’t feel as much connection with them. I’m super looking forward to Never let go though!

Gahhh I could talk about their music and content and dynamics and just THEM forever, for you it’s probably like yea dude we been knew they’re amazing lol but here I am sharing the new fan joy!🙌 haha

It was around 10pm when Gov snapped back awake due to hearing a teleportation chime. He turned around to see Louisiana standing behind him. He noticed that Loui wasn't in his normal attire (he had exchanged it for a black cropped hoodie, and Gov definitely wasn't blushing lmao), and he didn't have Florida with him. Which was oddly suspicious.

"What do you want, Mags?" Gov sighed.

"I came to check on ya. Also to tell you that I'm taking you on a walk in Baton Rouge. To y'know, have a break." Responded Loui with the smile that the Main 6 (and me 👀) adored so much.

"Listen, Honey, I would love to, but I'm very busy right now." Gov said, gently cupping the smaller's face in his hands.

"I know, but I think ya can take a break. You've been workin' all day for the past 4 days, and I'll bet you haven't slept either. Loui said, walking over to Gov's closet and pulling out a pair of jeans and a black turtleneck. 'Is this really all he has in terms of casual clothes- me and Yorkie really need to take im' clothes shopping at some point.' Loui thought to himself before tossing the clothes at Gov, who just barely caught them. He walked over to Gov and stood up on his tippy-toes to give him a peck on the lips before sitting down on Gov's bed. "Go change Cher. I'll be waiting here."

Gov just blushed brightly and just went to his bathroom to change with no questions asked (hehehe SIMP-).

A few minutes later, Gov walked out of the bathroom wearing the clothes that Loui had thrown at him. Loui looked up from his phone and smiled a bit before walking over and grabbing the taller's hand.

"Ya ready?" he asked. He waited until Gov nodded yes to teleport to the busy streets of Baton Rouge.

Gov looked around with nothing but pure amazement in his eyes. "Wow... It's beautiful...."

Louisiana chuckled a bit. "Yea... It ain't no Dallas, L.A, Miami, or NYC, but it sure is somethin'." He said with a bright, fond smile. "Now I'm gonna bet you haven't eaten anything all day, so I'm gonna take you to one of my favorite bars so we can getcha somethin'."

Gov didn't bother arguing, cuz he knew it was no use. He was absolutely WHIPPED for his boyfriend. He allowed himself to get dragged to a rather nice looking bar around ten minutes from where they had landed. As they entered, he noticed how Loui seemed to know every worker there. After a bit of looking around, he nearly ran into Loui, who had stopped at the counter where there was a bartender.

"Ah Loui, good to see ya again!! Who's yer little friend here?" she said with a friendly smile as she shook Loui's hand.

"Hey Chels! Nice to see ya too sha. This here is ma boyfriend, Gabriel." He said, returning the handshake and smile. He elbowed Gov, and gave him the look that said 'say hello'.

"Hello." Gov said with the friendliest smile he could muster.

"Hey Gabe, you can call me Chelsi. I'm assuming y'all are gonna want the regular, Lou?" She asked, turning to Louisiana.

"Yup. Thanks sha."

"No problem!! Go find yourselves a table and I'll be around in a lil bit."

"Aight." Loui said, shaking her hand once more before dragging Gov to a table somewhere in the back of the bar.

"So um... You seem to be a regular here." Gov said, trying to make small talk with the smaller state.

"Yup, I come ere' every other day, and trust me, aint nobody here gonna bite ya, they're all very nice." Answered the Pelican State.

"I wasn't really worried about that Mags." Gov said.

"Yea okay sha- you were literally shakin' with anxiety when we walked in here and you were lookin' at everybody like they were gonna bite ya."

"Well what if-"

"And don't bother sayin' that it was because ya were cold, cuz it's 80°F AND humid outside."

"I- fine. Whatever." Gov said, pouting ever so slightly.

"Good boy." Loui teased, smirking when Gov started blushing again. He looked up when he saw Chelsi standing there with their food. Now it was his turn to blush.

"Pfft- y'all are real cute together. Here's yer order, have a great night y'all." She said before walking back behind the bar where she worked.

The two personifications sat and ate for about fifteen minutes before about 4 or 5 tall guys walked up to their table.

"Can we help ya?" Loui said, keeping up his friendly smile and tone of voice.

"Well you most definitely can, cutie~" said one of the guys (he looked like he might be the leader of em all) as he seductively leaned on the wall next to Loui.

Loui looked like he was trying his hardest to not tell this guy to f*ck off. But still, he kept up his friendly attitude. "Ehhh- sorry not interested man."

"C'mon~ Why not?~"

Loui was starting to get a bit uncomfortable and his friendliness was starting to disappear slightly. "Like I said, I'm not interested. Now, please leave us alone."

"Y'know, funny thing is, I don't remember it being a question, pretty boy~" said the guy as he wrapped an arm around Loui's waist.

Okay- Gov's gonna intervene now. He stood up and said "H-hey... Guy, he said he wasn't interested. Now leave. And don't put your hands on him."

The guy that had his arm wrapped around Loui glared at Gov before walking up to him and grabbing him by the front of the shirt and pinning him against the wall. "What're ya gonna do bout' it huh?"

"I-I-I-" Gov started to say before he noticed that Loui's eyes were glowing a bright red. Well sh*t.

Suddenly, Loui jumped up from his seat and grabbed the guy that was pinning Gov against the wall and threw him head-first at an unoccupied table. He smirked when the other 4 decided to attack him. Good, more blood~

Gov watched as Loui proceeded to beat the living sh*t out of the other four guys. He flipped and broke one's arm, he knocked another out completely by smacking his head on his knee, and the other two also received a few kicks and punches before running away like absolute cowards.

Loui laughed a bit to himself, satisfied with his work. He turned back to Gov, who was staring at him with a wide-eyed amazed expression. He wrapped an arm around Gov's shoulders and pecked him on the cheek before teleporting them out of there while the people were distracted.

Gov wrapped his hands around Loui's waist and kissed him on the lips, Loui returning it. The two kissed for a solid five minutes before finally pulling apart, but still not taking their hands off each other.

"Where the hell did you learn to fight lie that??" Gov asked, still amazed.

Loui looked confused for a second before catching on. "O-oh hehehe uh... Well, ya don't live this long and learn nothin' sha. Especially when ya live in da hood. I guess that being friends with Texas, York and Mass helps ya learn a few things as well. Plus- I wasn't bouta let ya get beat up back there, sha."

"Mhm you are indeed my little knight in shining armour huh?" Gov teased slightly, bringing Loui in for a tight hug and nuzzling the top of his hair. Loui returned the hug, burying his face in the taller's chest.

"Yup I am sha."

Stu sad watching horror movies and pining is great, definitely canon lmao. - yesss I have certain ones in mind I can see him doing this specifically to (Re-animator, My Bloody Valentine, The Prowler and Psycho were the ones that came to mind and I have specific reasons too lmao) I would love to know which ones you would imagine him watching in his sad boy mode too! Stu absolutely would buy multiple copies of that CD and he would give it to Billy as a gag gift on birthdays or holidays I reckon. the image of Billy smashing them with a hammer in an overly dramatic fashion and Stu thirsting but simultaneously bothering him even more like "There's plenty more where that came from" while pieces of plastic are flying everyfuckingwhere will not leave me alone.

Lmao and yeah Middle aged Billy absolutely destroying homophobes is my fav tbh. - saaame I love this so much for him! “You should be afraid of the gays because we’re fucking coming to get you.” YES God this is amazing and honestly so hot ngl Stu saying to the same victim "The bury the gays trope is over, now the gays are gonna bury everyone else!" (then Billy and Stu make out in front of said homophobic victim just to piss them off before they kill them together).

Thos are all great picks! And Stu would love reanimator. I think Halloween 1 is a big one, like its so obvious and they've seen it so many times but I think it was formative for them and I also think Stu had a great big crush on Micheal and parallels Billy to him a lot in a very romanticized way. Like he sees him as this quiet, unstoppable force who also has these fun silly moments occasionally and idk, I think he knows every line in the movie but still feels so tender watching it cause its just Billy for him.

Black Christmas is another- aside from the fact that I love the movie I think its one Billy liked a lot as well, like this slow building pace, the shooting style, and then the fact that it revolves around phone calls and everything. Like when Sid runs up into Stu's attic during the chase scene its set up like a reference to the movie up there and I can't imagine thats not because Billy and Stu were playing Black Christmas at some point.

Deep Red is another, It just strikes me as a Billy favourite and I think he gets really animated talking about his favourites, so Stu would have som really fond memories of that.

LMAO giving the CDs is a great touch, like theres shards of CD flying and Stu's like " aww babe you didn't have to make confetti, thats so sweet"
