There was never a rat in the Van Der Linde Gang
I'm gonna be honest. Micah is a conniving snake. But there was never a rat.
Why did Blackwater fail? Dutch killed a mother in cold blood and then a massacre happened. The money was a set up and Dutch took the bait. Pinkertons swarmed the area and even Landon Rickets was there.
How did they find them at Horseshoe? By chance the Pinkertons found Arthur and Jack fishing, but was it really by chance? What happens in chapter 2?
A bar fight where fucking everyone in town is there, which afterwords Dutch is there
You sprang Sean free and there are bounty hunters who flee, you seriously don't think they talked??
Oh yeah, ARTHUR AND MICAH SHOOT UP A FUCKING TOWN
John killing Micah led to Ross and Fordham finding him. Any of the missions I mentioned practically led Milton and Ross to finding Arthur near Horseshoe.
How did the Gray/Braithewaite scheme fail?
The Grays knew what they were doing and so did the Braithewaites. They played both families instead of just one and instead of LYING LOW. Dutch's vanity, ego and sense of wanting petty revenge against Confederate white trash caused Sean to be killed and Jack to be abducted.
How did Saint Denis fail?
Dutch played Bronte in his own city, refused a favor(you do NOT refuse the Mob asking a favor) which caused the set up, then Bronte's murder and finally the Bank Robbery which they knew they were there.
The common theory is someone from the gang snitched and talked to the Pinkertons. Who exactly ? Micah ? Well, Agent Milton said they picked up Micah AFTER they came back from Guarma, so it could not have been him. Molly ? Again, Milton said they did pick her up (not mentioned when), but she did not say anything. I have also read theories that it might have been Agibail who snitched to which my response is - pure BS.
The truth is, nobody snitched, nobody talked. Yes. Yet the reaction of the Pinkertons was insanely fast, as if they knew the robbery was going to go down. How you wonder ? Well, it's simple. It's a long one, but have a read.
From the very beginning of the game, Dutch has been claiming that they are a few steps ahead of everyone else, but his arrogance proved to be the downfall. You see, the Pinkertons are not as dull and foolish as Dutch claim them to be, they are extremely efficient as a detective agency proven by the fact that they tracked down Arthur in Valentine. Now, when the gang moved to Clemens Point near Rhodes, the Pinkertons lost their trail for a while. However the gang contradicted their own plan of staying low by creating a huge chaos in Rhodes after killing both the Gray's and the Braithwaite's (best mission in the game btw). As soon as the word spread of the massacre of both the families in Rhodes all over the place, the Pinkertons connected the dots and knew that it could be the Van Der Lind gang who created the fuss and if so, they must be camping somewhere near Rhodes. Nonetheless, they found the gang hideout after sniffing around, a day or two after the Braithwaite massacre. At this point Agent Milton knew these bunch of people would not be too hard to find as all you need to do is to sniff around an area where there has been murder and madness.
Now to Saint Denis, Dutch dismissed Hosea's idea and went after Angelo Bronte just after the failed trolley station robbery. If he listened to Hosea, hit the bank at once, then vanished, the Pinkertons would have never caught on and they would be harvesting mango's in Tahiti. But a failed trolley station robbery followed by a huge shootout in the city killing dozens of cops then followed by a kidnapping and murder of the most powerful man in the city was enough chaos for the Pinkertons to realize it's the Van Der Lind gang. So they knew the gang is around this city and increased security in Saint Denis hoping that the next time they attempt a robbery, it would be the endgame. That is why as soon as the bank robbery started, the Pinkertons were all over the place.
It is also easy to explain why Hosea was captured and Abigail escaped. While causing the distraction, both of them did not realise how fast the response is going to be. The Pinkertons caught Hosea as his face along with other male members of the gang was known to them, specially Hosea, Dutch and Arthur as they have been the oldest members of the gang. But Abigail at this point was unknown to them so it was easy for her to walk right past them without them realizing.
Why did the gang fell?
Micah got into Dutch's ear, Hosea died and Arthur got sick.
Micah promised him riches and the glorious scores that appealed to Dutch's ego and vanity. But he wasn't the rat.
If he did rat, he was playing Dutch and the Pinkertons to get the Blackwater money and the money for turning in Dutch.
However.
It was all Dutch.
Dutch. killed Cornwall in broad fucking daylight. Arthur sprung John out of prison, they blew up a fucking bridge, Dutch led the Natives to their doom, Colm's execution turned into a bloodbath, an attack on the Oil Refinery which led to the deaths of Colonel Favors and Eagle Flies and to top it all with robbing the military. It's no fucking wonder the Pinkertons found them.
There was no rat. The Pinkertonâs were actually just good at their jobs. Micah being a rat makes no sense if you actually think about it. Thereâs NO WAY the pinkertons would have been ok with the death of Leviticus Cornwall as he was paying their wages. Micah and Dutch planned to kill him together. Thereâs also the fact that Micah straight up killed Pinkertons in the firefight that ensued cornwallâs death. Micah was an asshole but not a rat. Watch that scene with Milton and Arthur againâŚMilton would have most likely let Arthur go with that false information but Arthur decided to attack him. There was never a rat, they got played.
It's a combination of things on why they all failed.
Reason 1. Dutch's vanity and ego. Dutch desperately needed to be seen as this great American hero. He cares more of the thrill of âone last scoreâ itâs all about his ego and how he has to be seen as this Evelyn Millerian figure. This great American Literature hero when heâs really as bad as the greed that he says poisons America. He never cared about the people in the gang. It was the prestige of the name "The VAN DER LINDE Gang" HIM. He wanted to be seen as this infamous outlaw and righteous leader. He didn't care about the people in the gang. Arthur? He was dying and he didn't care. John? He wanted him to hang. Abigail? He left her behind the first chance he got. Micah killed Susan RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM and Dutch didn't care. He considerd Mary-Beth, Pearson and Uncle leaving as a betrayal. Dutch never cared for the people within the VDL Gang. He cared what they could do for him and the glory they could bring him. It was never of settling down to become farmers, it was always about the thrill of being an outlaw the that great big score.
There are a lot of people who think if Hosea never died, then Dutch never would've lost it. He was always bad. He just had good ways of masking it. Hosea failed at every venture to talk out of getting Dutch to see sense and avoid bloodshed. If Hosea lived, there is a very good chance that Dutch would've lost it and had Hosea killed. Either it would've been an accidental death like he tried by leaving Arthur behind, he would've went into full paranoid mode "You're trying to undermine me and take the group from me" and order Hosea to draw his gun and then shoot him. Like Hosea said "You'll damn us all" and he did.
Reason 2. Loyalty to a fault.
Loyalty held the gang together. Loyalty was what Dutch valued - blind, obedient loyalty. âHe had a plan,â after all.
Doubt broke the gang apart. Dutch became suspicious, uncertain of the faith of even his most dedicated friends. This undermined the entire operation and caused its eventual downfall.
âYouâll betray me, Arthur,â Dutch says, âYouâre the type.â Dutch couldnât be more wrong on that account.
Micah is named by the Pinkertons as a rat, but according to them, he wasnât approached until after theyâd returned from Guarma. So, by that timeline, the Pinkertonâs hadnât needed a rat to foil their plans in Blackwater, or to find Arthur fishing by the side of a stream, or for the bank robbery in Saint Denis.
The Pinkertons always knew where Dutch was and what he was up to. They didnât need a rat, especially not after their return from Guarma. So, why drop Micahâs name?
Well, the Pinkertons knew the gang was scrambling, that they were on the run, and that it was damn near impossible to arrest one of them at a time without a successful rescue of said gang member, ie Micah, John, Abigail and Sean. They are not the local sheriffâs office, after all. They are the federals and they want Dutch Vander Linde done in for good.
Staring down the barrel of a gun, why would a Pinkerton agent spill their collateral to the enemy? Arthur wasnât even asking for any information at the time. Why would this agent, in his dying moments, tell Arthur that Micah was the rat?
Unless the agent knew the gang was on thin ice, and that loyalty was all that was keeping it together. He introduced what he hoped would be a final blow to the gang, accomplishing post-huminously what had been his career goal in life.
Also, why would Micah become an informant after Guarma? What were the promising him? After all, he stuck with Dutch and formed a new gang after Arthur died. He never took a big cut from the government and ran. He was a brown-noser and an asshole, but stood nothing to gain from becoming a rat.
Arthur hated Micah, so he took the bait. He wanted a reason to hate him, to have him kicked out of the gang. Micah was pragmatic and greedy and he hardened Dutchâs humanitarian side - the side that Arthur valued. But, Micah being a rat wasnât the truth.
After all, we know who became a rat - John Marston.
Arthurâs readiness to believe a Pinkertonâs dying words proved the point of the narrative - the gang fell apart because they lost faith in Dutch, and because Dutch grew jealous and fearful as their doubts became apparent.
Loyalty kept the gang together, and its absence tore the gang apart.
Reason 3. "We didn't need a rat. We got sloppier than the town drunk."
The gang was careless. It got sloppy and their overconfidence and ego was their downfall.
Micah wasnât the cause of their downfall he simply hastened it. The game tells you from the opening titles how itâs going to end and why. It mentions that the remaining gangs are being hunted down and destroyed with the word underlined for emphasis. It was always going to end in their demise, it just happened quicker than it would have because they got sloppy, careless, conceited, and arrogant.

UConn vs Ole Miss
imma just do a player breakdown cause i think that's the best way to break this one down. sorry but this is gonna be rambly.
paige: i mean i gotta address the obvious, pretty sure she tied her career high for turnovers, when i saw that stat i was hoping i would watch and see that maybe there were other things that led to them, but honestly all of them were her fault and just dumb errors, she did good with the physicality of old miss, but that wasn't surprising, she's still over-helping on defense too much. i also hate seeing her go from floor general to standing around any time she's on the floor with kkm but i think that might be a coaching thing.
azzi: oh how i loved this. firstly, big dawg az is basically averaging 1 block a game since her return, i know this is the boring part but i'm such a nerd for good defense and seeing how much she looks like her old defensive self from like hs has me geeking. i love seeing how smart she plays. in the past, she's gotten in her head when shots aren't falling and either just stopped shooting or kept settling for the three. seeing someone so notorious for that to be the one lifting them out of the 0-15 run just made me tear up. loved seeing her drive and cut, while also still taking a few 3's. i would love to see her take a few more middy's in the next game cause those are always beautiful.
sarah: strong first half, but they definitely targeted her in the second and she got clamped. however because of what she's shown, i am excited to see how she responds to that. also, the 3 ball... i like that she's not afraid to shoot, but i think after 4 misses, especially as a post-player, it's time to cut your losses. defensively she still looked solid, even when they were being aggressive.
jana: i mean with her size, just having her on the court helps this team, especially against aggressive teams like ole miss. you could really see her trying to stay disciplined on defense and not foul and it showed. one of the fouls she got called on was actually bs, but i'm glad she didn't get heated over it. i love her fiery energy on the court and i think it's a good compliment to a lot of the quieter people on the court. she only got 3 fga but she was 100%, which was her biggest problem last time. however, i need her shooting freethrows every day. especially as a center, it is so easy to get fouled and those need to be easy points.
ice: this was her best defensive game i've seen so far. she took to aggression from ole miss really well and was reacting a lot faster. what i've noticed so far from ice is that she is either doing well on offense or defense, but she hasn't had a game where she's contributing on both ends of the floor. i also think she could maybe work on her handle and be able to not be so stationary on offense. jana's taller and is still able to move with the ball more. i think she's lucky she never got double-teamed and stripped, because she won't move with the ball. also there is no world in which she needs to be attempting more than one 3 a game. overall glad to see her improving each game, even if it is incremental.
kaitlyn: gosh this one hurts me. it's harder watching her not score more, when we've seen all that she's got in her bag and she's typically on the floor with another pg. defensively i think she was great and i think both of her fouls were smart and not the typical dumb stuff. i would still take her over kk, just because of her level-headedness and leadership, but with azzi back in the mix and multiple players who can switch between guard and forward, she's not really making an argument for why she should be on the court over others.
ashlynn: liked to middy instead of the regular 3, but zero 3pta's for her is just dumb. at this point i would rather see lower efficiency and just take more shot attempts, but mixing it up between 3's, middy, and getting to the rim. on the postive, i did notice she went under less screens in this game. even though she's improved tremendously on defense, that was an old habit that came back last game and i was happy to see the adjustement.
kk: i'm sorry but i'm just not seeing it. she just has to have more to offer the team offensively than passing and layups, especially being so small. stronger defensive teams are gonna continue to block her shot. i thought we were finally seeing her experimenting with a little floater, but haven't seen that in a bit and the middy and 3 pt shot are still nonexistent. very reminiscent of nika, but at least nika had more of a leadership and aggressive quality to her that helped with the team's energy. i just really cannot see her running this team next year. also putting her on the court now just takes paige off the ball which is the last thing this team needs. i simply cannot see why she is over 10 minutes when morgan is a better defender and allie can shoot.

The Alan headcount; part 1
Alright, I started a theory on all the Alan Wakes we have in the games and, oh boy, did it get bloated. And I actually needed some of the Wakes just to establish important things to draw connections for the main idea. Now, looking at 10k words of build-up without even touching a fun part of connecting the dots, Iâve decided that it would be easier for me and for the reader to have it all split in two.
This part will be focused on the Alans, who donât really spark arguments yet show and predict a lot. They extend what we know about Alan, add to his character, and allow us to see where some things in other Alans originate from. It will also mostly be focused on pre-AWII, with one exception. There will be no conclusion in the end; itâs just lists of what we know, a bit of dissecting of some of the facts, and nothing more. Aye, I will surely slap a cool quote at the end, but treat it more as a âwhat we know and ways to interpret itâ or a light read of rambling about Alan Wake.
Alan Wake before and during 2010.
I will put this Alan in both parts because he is important, and what I wrote about him here is a foundation that can be applied to any of them (to some extent). We know an awful lot about him (and all of it might be a lie), so I will skip some parts that serve no purpose for the theory.
Iâll call him just Alan; so, what do we know about him:
Alan was born in 1977⌠or 1978-1979, the guide for AW states he was 31 in 2010, the memorial in AWII reads 1977-2010; go figure.
Alan was born in New York or moved there at a very young age, since he and Barry, who grew up in New York, were childhood friends.
Alan was born with a condition that made him sensitive to light to the point of being blinded by it and prone to migraines.
Alan never knew his father and was raised by his mother, Linda Wake, who had mental issues and spent a lot of time in various institutions while Alan was growing up. Alan was deeply affected by the absence of his father or a father-figure in his life.
Alan had crippling nightmares as a child before his mother gave him the Clicker.
Alanâs first published story was âErrand Boy,â which centred around a broken and twisted father-son relationship, horror, and a lighthouse occupied by the creatures that mightâve been an inspiration for the Taken.
Alanâs first serious writing gig was being a semi-regular writer on the Night Springs show. He hated it, by the way, felt that it was trash, and he was not a real writer. But he got over it; Night Springs ended up being a huge part of his personality.
Alan mightâve taken a job as a night watchman, carrying a gun and torch, in hopes of getting inspiration for his stories; as he states in one of the manuscripts, his first passion was crime. It was a boring gig, but at least he ran into Alice.
Alan is madly in love with Alice and cannot live without her.
Alan also knew that Alice actually can live without him and was always afraid that she will leave him, not allowing himself to truly believe that she loves him.
Alanâs first novel was about Alex Casey; the series grew and brought him success that he didnât handle well. Parties, fights, substance abuseâall this rock-star lifestyle BS.
Alan considered only two people being close to him: Barry and Alice. And they didnât get along well, although both care about him and genuinely love him, as he did in return. We have no information about what happened to his mother and what relationship he had with her.
Alan hit a writerâs block after the last Casey novel and his state started to deteriorate. He was moody, angry, and quick to lash out; the rock-star BS intensified. This drove his marriage to a breaking point.
Alanâs involvement in the vacation is unknown; he did say in one of the flashbacks that he wants a vacation for him and Alice, but Alice surely was the one to arrange everything and choose Bright Falls.
Alan forgot more dreams about the Dark Presence than Clay Steward remembers.
Alan had nightmares on a regular basis at the start of the first game; if itâs connected with giving the Clicker to Alice is unknown.
Alan had anger issues.
Alan was a sceptic.
Alan wrote everything that happened in 2010, taking inspiration from Tom Zaneâs books, he found in the shoebox in the cabin and advice from his non-human editor Barbara Jagger. His scepticism didnât stop him from writing supernatural events and Lovecraftian beings.
Alan, even at the time of the first game, had very strict rules about how exactly he should write to make fiction come true. He presents it as some sort of hunches or a writerâs wisdom.
Alan can manipulate time.
Alan ate the Dark Presence and enslaved the Bright Presence.
Alright, maybe the last fact was a bit too exaggerated, but itâs not without truth. Alan did indeed enslave the Bright Presence (and, frankly, everyone who has been mentioned in the manuscripts, plus some others, whose manuscripts Alan didnât find), but the deal with the Dark Presence is a bit more nuanced. His last words, before he sat down to write âthe ending to the story,â effectively rewriting the whole loop we just witnessed in the game, were about balance. Knowing what we know now, Alan mightâve consumed the Dark Presenceâs powers whilst banishing her, effectively becoming too large of a presence himself to leave the Dark Place, or he took her place because, as he said, the scales have to balance, everything has a price; the price of killing the Dark Presence and freeing Alice from the Dark Place is staying in the Dark Place (as he himself believes in AWII) with complimentary Scratch in your head. Both of those possibilities have supporting evidence, and it doesnât really matter which one of them you choose to believe; they lead to the same outcome.
Being consistent af, I will address the first fact(-ish?): as far as I know, no extra material was deemed non-canon, therefore the guide for AW is still a source one can use. Yes, it has some conflicts with the games, but the games have some conflicts with the games, and given the loops, memory issues, and the nature of this story, that has no need for retcons (âtis just another loop, mate!), Iâd say Alan just doesnât remember his own birthdate and changes it on a whim. Or there might be another reason, drawn from other sources, that have nothing to do with our story.
Honestly, Iâm not sure other facts need any clarification; people who will read this surely know a thing or two about Alan Wake. Moving on.
Oh, boy, the weirdest part of this part of the theory is here. We step into the territory of Alans upon Alans. Join me on a glorious adventure of exploring the multialans, because they are plenty, although the juiciest Alans might await us in the second part.
Dark Alan
We will start with the Dark Alan from The Signal and The Writer DLCs. For clarity, I will refer to him as, well, D!Alan, yes, Iâm this cheap.
D!Alan is batshit crazy.
D!Alan gave up and allowed the darkness to consume him.
D!Alan is suspiciously similar to the Dark Presence, both in powers and behaviour.
D!Alan is trying to get rid of his rational part, coming off as malicious, but in fact being desperate.
D!Alan doesnât need a crutch of writing, he can dream whatever he wants and the Dark Place will deliver; more so, we know for sure he was in no state to even touch the typewriter. He can occasionally narrate whatâs going on, but it seems to be more about his need to vent.
D!Alan claims that light burns him.
D!Alan is powerful enough to swipe away the Bright Presence (although not without the help of Rational Alan).
D!Alan loves TVs.
D!Alan is bitter and hurt because he was left to die in the Dark Place.
D!Alan is best represented in the cutscene with Hartman, where he agrees that everything that happened was only in his head. As we learn from AWII, being Alan and being trapped in the Dark Place is a fate worse than death.
D!Alan is in control in the DLCs.
D!Alan is one of the most tragic Alans we have across the games. He wants everything to end, and if you listen to his lines, that are not about how his other part will die; itâs heartbreaking. I find those at the end of The Signal, the most revealing:
What did he have left to fight for? Heâd lost everything even before he came here. Even his sanity was gone. What was the point? Why had everyone abandoned him to die here?
The loss of everything even before is a bit nuanced: was it about the troubled marriage, burden of fame, inability to write, or something else? Something else will be discussed in the second part. Nonetheless, this line gives me chills. And the last one, I quoted here... well, D!Alan is crazy; he cannot think clearly to realise that, even if heâs right, not much time passed for him to come to this conclusion. The DLCs take place right after the first game, before AWAN, actually long before, since in AWAN Alan states he already learnt how to try to communicate with our world, managed to get annoyed enough with Mr. Scratch, who visited him multiple times, and decided to change the story he was writing. At the end of The Writer we see the name of the next manuscript "Return." It is not the AWAN's "Return," itâs a different story that was sacrificed to save Alice from Mr. Scratch.
D!Alan is not just suspiciously similar to the Dark Presence; he is the Dark Presence of the DLCs. Not only he does what DP!Barbara was doing, he behaves exactly like Scratchâinsecure, lost, yearning for love and attention. D!Alan affects the Dark Place the way Scratch does in AWII, and Scratch and Barbara act differently: Barbara uses her innate powers to keep Alan and Alice hostage, banish the Bright Presence from the cabin, or push Alan away from his clairvoyant dream-memory; Scratch just shows up, changing the story to his whims, wrecking everything on his way. Their control is manifested differently; Scratch is a Dark Presence that can create. As is D!Alan, heâs dreaming everything that happens (mostly), and we can see how his state deteriorates through the environment.
D!Alan is surely not writing, on more than one TV we see him laying on the floor, narrating whatâs happening or about to happen. This Alan is a Master of the Dark Place. All it needed is just to lose all sanity, reason, and care not about all the rules Alan likes to impose onto himself. First glimpse at why Alan is unable to escape the Dark Place for thirteen years, being perfectly able to do it at any point.
D!Alan also let the darkness in and decided it wasnât so bad. It can be tied to Alanâs history of substance abuse (who knows what kind of high the darkness can give?). But, no matter why he decided it was nice, after the two Alans reunited in the end, this understanding, lingering feeling surely stayed. Albeit somewhat controlled for the time being.
Rational Alan
After the D!Alan, we surely need to talk about the Rational Alan, opposing the Dark Alan in the DLCs. Following the lazy pattern, Iâll call him R!Alan.
R!Alan is not so dissimilar to Alan. Actually, there are not many differences at all.
R!Alan as well can shape the Dark Place, although way more subtle than the D!Alan.
R!Alan is neither a âBright Alanâ nor a good version of Alan; heâs irritable, bitter, and not a nice person through and through.
R!Alan is assisted by the Bright Presence, who delivers him some of the manuscript pages that turn into words or phrases (of power?).
R!Alan needs to use these words to manifest tools, goods, memories, or entities, but it is unclear if every word originates from the manuscript or even delivered by the Bright Presence. There is a high possibility he dreams some of them himself.
R!Alan created Imaginary Barry to accompany him.
R!Alan could be dreaming some of the environment as well, since there are helpful things around. Barry even warns R!Alan not to pursue the train of thought that Barry himself is from R!Alanâs imagination any further. Probably, because unlike D!Alan, R!Alan has no control over what will manifest and how.
R!Alan is the closest to AWII!Alan: heâs confused, in need of someone to lead him, and knows that somewhere something awaits him, but doesnât really know what and why. Heâs not in control as much as AWII!Alan is not in control.
R!Alan is hopeful, determined and not ready to give up.
R!Alan is quick to ditch Barry if it serves his purpose.
D!Alan and R!Alan are two halves of the one whole, but they are not the opposites in everything, only in a desire or the lack thereof to keep living. Where D!Alan gave up, R!Alan had changed his mind on this, yet he did want to as well after finishing Departure and saving Alice. They are not Good and Bad Alan, they are Rational and Irrational; the only reason I called the Irrational Alan âDarkâ is because, take away some of rationality, rules, and care for the future, D!Alan is a Dark Presence, able to create genuine art and control the Dark Place. I guess the implications here are obvious.
There is not much to add, except forâI'll be damned if R!Alan wasnât an arse for ditching Barry so quickly and easily. Actually, so much so, he, himself, was angry enough about that, he tried to kill himself.
Imaginary Barry
Iâll explain it with yet another Alan in the DLC, the third player in that story: the Imaginary Barry. He is Alan, too; well, a figment of imagination, but itâs the Dark Place, putting it into the Bright Presenceâs words, he is as real as anything else there. I will refer to him as I!Barry for clarity, but keep in mind that there is absolutely nothing in his behaviour that is not stemming from Alan himself.
I!Barry is the originator of the âIâM COMPLICATEDâ meme. Yes, itâs an important fact; I had to put it here. Heâs the one to call Alan complicated and then go as far as to call even his memories complicated.
I!Barry literally voices what Alan thinks about the surroundings before Alan does it himself.
I!Barry is the embodiment of Alanâs fear of being alone. There is no game between them, no secret; they both understand all too well that itâs not Barry, itâs a memory, a perception, a guess on how the real Barry would act in some circumstances. And they both are cool with it.
I!Barry comes off as his own man, but in truth, he does what Alan believes he would do, be it a commentary on some nasty noises or an annoying useless advice Alan doesnât need.
I!Barry is not controlled by D!Alan, heâs R!Alanâs creation, and heâs trying to kill him at the end of The Writer because, as the Bright Presence said, R!Alan has to abandon his delusions.
I!Barry is not the one to be offended by it; Alan is. Every dialogue line in the I!Barryâs Boss Fight is Alanâs guilt for his behaviour.
I!Barryâs Boss Fight in itself is Alanâs desire to have Barry by his side, his internal conflict for having to part ways, even if itâs not the real Barry. And it is his punishment for everything heâs done and about to do.
I!Barry is the first instance of Alan creating someone in the Dark Place who has some amount of agency, a different appearance, and a different voice that we see on screen.
There is not much to add, although I!Barry and some other entities deserve their own explanation, so I will leave it at that. I just need to establish that Alan is capable of creating semi-independent beings with their own appearances and voices that are to the point controlled by him, but not necessarily consciously or in a beneficial way.
AWANâs Alan
My favourite Alan is, of course, the AWANâs Alan. Heâs the middle point between two madnesses, the result of a clear mind, a clear goal, and thorough planning. All the good stuff. Because I canât help meself, I will refer to him as Awan (imagine some cute emoji here).
Awan is the most elevated Alan we ever saw on screen.
Awan is the most confident Alan we ever saw on screen.
Awan is a Master of the Dark Place even more than the D!Alan and without any side effects!
Awan can control it to the point where he kinda-sorta learnt quite a lot about the flora, fauna, population, and the ways in which the Dark Place operates, and felt safe there with only a torch and a gun.
Awan was contacting our world intentionally via radio and dreams (and managed to remember it).
Awanâs biggest achievementâhe created a threshold with the Dark Place and Someplace, Arizona. Which, if the map doesnât lie, is quite a distance from Cauldron Lake.
Awan is everything all the Alans we saw strive to achieve.
Awan is determined to change; he wants to be a better man; he acknowledged his flaws and worked on them.
Awan is still a jerk; donât get me wrong, but heâs trying, alright.
Awan is elevated enough to create, together with Alice, an object of power to destroy Mr. Scratch.
Awan mastered the loop technique not just to follow the breadcrumbs he left for himself, but to the point where he remembers all the loops clearly and acts accordingly.
Awan even managed to make other people remember the loops to have allies.
Awan, obviously, is the most powerful time manipulator, who actually understands what heâs doing. From the Alans we saw on screen, of course.
Awan is the last Alan to be near the Bird Leg Cabin; in fact, Awan drowned it.
Awan might live on his own private island in the Dark Place with Alice.
Yeah, I guess it would be better to address the last point. Quite frankly, we donât really know what happened between AWAN and AWII, but there is a possibility that the AWANâs Alan, like Tom Zane, ended up in a personal paradise. For him, it would be a film setting where he met Alice at the end of the story-mode, creating a private island. I mean, not like we have a shortage of Alans for this to be impossible, and letâs not kid ourselves, the AWII Alan is a huge downgrade from the AWAN Alan; there is no explanation of why and how. Why did Awan fall into the spiral of madness and lost all of his elevation perks, why doesnât he remember anything, where are his torch and gun at the beginning of the second game, why would he need to rob Noir-Casey to have them? Itâs a wild idea (or not really), but in one of the manuscripts Aliceâs Film described as their salvation, their chance to be together, a tin can with a bit of magic that Alice unknowingly created. And Iâm sure, no one will doubt, Alice is capable of creating miracles.
Other than that, not much to add here; I know there is a chunk of people who didnât play AWAN; obviously, I canât explain the story and its significance in the first part of a theory about a completely different thing. But everyone who played it and read all the manuscripts will understand what Iâm talking about. The change from AWAN's Alan to AWII Alan is too staggering, really.
Finally, we are in the AWII territory for our last Alan for this part.
Noir-Casey
He, as well as Barry in the first gameâs DLCs, is a figment of imagination, and he as well is as real as anything else in the Dark Place. I will refer to him as Noir-Casey.
Noir-Casey follows his own set of rules and character traits, because even before the Dark Place, he was Alanâs creation with thought-out and established behaviour.
Noir-Casey, as well as I!Barry, is an embodiment of Alanâs fear of being alone. This time he has no allies from (kinda) without, so he creates one within and doesnât let go even after Noir-Caseyâs deaths.
Noir-Casey acts the way Alan feels he would in given circumstances, unlike with I!Barry they do play the game of Noir-Casey being his own entity, although they do it following the script.
Noir-Casey is the only character, even in the Dark Place, whose thoughts Alan can "read," not only as an inspiration-clairvoyance âmatch the black and white bubbleâ scattered around the Writerâs City, but also when Noir-Casey is right in front of Alan.
Noir-Casey, even while confined by the story, knows that heâs just a character, and he is Alan. Frankly, Noir-Casey is not really happy about that, but it is in his character to suffer silently and just keep going.
Noir-Casey knows about the loops, remembers some of them at least, but, again, true to his character and bound by the script, he acts on this knowledge only in certain moments, giving vital information in a way that wonât affect the story (Alan doesnât react to any of those bomb-drops at all).
Noir-Casey mightâve been created as a helping hand in stopping Alan from writing; every time Alan encounters him, Noir-Casey comes uncomfortably close to killing him. Since and if that was true, things have changed: in the second alley scene, being suddenly shot in the abdomen would actually trigger Noir-Casey to fire back, but he doesnât.
Noir-Casey in the first alley scene claims that Alan will kill him there loop by loop; what we are shown hints that Noir-Casey is killed by Scratch, the scene is eerily similar to what we can collect from the moment when Scratch gets to the real Casey. Yet Noir-Caseyâs wrath is directed at Alan.
Noir-Casey obviously knows more than he lets out. He doesnât have memory problems and understands a thing or two about the Dark Place, even if he canât really comprehend it, being a character from the books.
Noir-Casey might be Alanâs regret for killing the PI from his novels, as it was a starting point for everything to go down in his life. Noir-Casey might be Alanâs desire to be tough and move on, ignoring the pain. Noir-Casey constant presence in Initiation can be Alanâs âIâm sorryâ and newfound appreciation for the character he once despised.
Noir-Casey in many ways plays the role of the Bright Presence.
Noir-Casey is yet another time when Alan created someone with agency and a different appearance and voice.
Noir-Casey is clearly a literary device for Alan in AWII. It doesnât really matter how exactly he was manifested: was Alan dreaming about him, reminiscing about the times when everything was sunshine and rainbows, or was he deliberately writing him into Initiation loop by loop; Noir-Casey surely is yet another Alan. Noir-Casey serves few purposes that might or might not have changed since the moment of his creation, and he does a pretty good job at it; whatâs interesting is that the character knows and understands more than the writer. And this will come into play after we will talk about yet another set of Alans in the second part.
The hero has a thousand faces and a hopeless path

You seem pretty sensible so I'd be curious to hear your thoughts, if you're up for it?
Don't know about you, but I'm at a point where I'm just too stressed over all the things we've been teased about for s2 (whether Arcane trailers or LoL's game trailers, the merch). I see people fighting over Jinx&Vi and Cait/Vi all over the place and, though I want both to work out, I'm more worried about what the writers will do with Vi herself, outside of her relationships with them. Because right now, it looks like pain and more pain and it breaks my heart to see her like this.
I'm soooo worried about her and her arc. I've had this theory for the longest time that she prophetised her own trajectory with what she accused Vander of in s1, that she herself will become "comfortable living in someone else's shadow". Vi's character has been kinda stagnant since Arc 2 because S1 was mostly about building up to Powder fully becoming Jinx, and Vi's core motivation centered around saving Powder. In a way, her own path was for someone else, not herself.
With what we've got so far, it seems that the writers will do the same in s2 but her new motivation will be helping/protecting Caitlyn which I feel won't be nearly as impactful as it was with Jinx and worse, it might make Vi feel like she has no real agency of her own except pick herself apart for other people? It's not super compelling for a story arc.
Cait and Jinx seem to be getting arcs that really revolve around them and Vi is not really needed for either of those arcs. Cait is set on revenge, and Jinx has become a symbol for freedom. Those are interesting arcs that can truly change and develop those characters and I'm really excited for those. But Vi? Every glimpse we've seen so far has her linked to other characters (heck, her new skin apparently has her crying eating a cupcake ffs). She might become an enforcer for Cait, I fear she might be fighting Jinx for Cait also, and then she goes on a self-destructive path where she hallucinates Cait.
Which btw... On the surface, the pit-fighter clip seems super interesting, a culmination of everything that Vi is struggling with, all the pain she's endured finally catching up to her and swallowing her whole... On the surface you see how much Vi is suffering ... BUT with the small signs liking her spiral to Cait and their potential break-up... well it worries me that the spiral is actually mostly about Cait which would be complete BS, honestly. I hope they go way deeper than that because Vi deserves her trauma to be explored with care and be about HER, not about someone else.
My point is, from where I stand, it seems like Vi shifted from yearning/living for Powder to yearning for Cait and ... well I hope the writers went much further than that and gave Vi a story of her own that doesn't involve her being torn up between Cait and Jinx over and over again. And if they do that after the pit-fighter clip, the writers are heading to a place where Vi won't be stuck in other people's shadow and starts living for herself. I do think this is what they are going for, though.
With that said, I do have a good feeling that Vi will absolutely shine in Act 3, once the Noxus vs PnZ kicks in, because she is the unifying bridge between Jinx and Cait and thus Piltover and Zaun. I just hope it's not going to be misery porn until that point though.
Is that really too much to ask?
(pfiou, sorry for the rant, hope you have a good day/night though)
hello! thanks for being interested in the thoughts of lil old me!
honestly im probably where you are right now for a lot of reasons. And if im being honest i could barely even stand how they wrote vi last szn, and the points you brought up (i didnt know about the whole vi skin crying eating a cupcake tho) make me worried for her.
Last szn she was practically spineless when it came to jinx and it was so annoying to watch. jinx was at a point where she'd almost killed her and literally kidnaps her and drives her so mad she starts screaming and cursing at her by the end and you mean to tell me vi's just all "aaw powder its okaay" by the end??? uh no...if i was vi and spent all that time looking for you and trying to mend our relationship only for you to have almost killed me and be warmed up to the man that killed my dad...nah id be livid. theres so reason vi shouldnt be upset with her by the end, but instead shes just sad about it... like bro she should be angry for so many reasons. ofc shell always love her sister, and i want it that way, but she has every right to be mad at her.
and the way her character revolves around cait this szn from the looks of things is equally irritating. like vis depressed and losing her shit hallucinating cait and cait only...which already feels like a red flag in where they wanna go with her. what about powder and how she failed her in her mind? what about vander and how she possibly dissapointed him in her mind? what about her parents hell?? how she probably failed them too in her mind? there are so many different ppl for her to be thinking about that would give her agency but no...just cait...they were even going to put a cupcake on the back of her biker jacket, which everyone thought was cute, but i thought it was one, annoying, and two, super frustrating, which made me glad they didnt, but the fact they even thought about it is just...like theres no way in hell cait hasnt probably fucked her up emotionally with this whole crusade for jinx, but one of the thoughts that go through their head is that?? and the way they did her with jinx last szn makes me not hopeful in that regard if cait has hurt her. and amanda's thing for "unrequited love", or at least explaining how she listened to a song about it while writitng for them and that was the exact reason why she liked it...i might actually throw up...no hate to her directly but fuck...
my hope is that they acknowledge this as the character flaw that it is. my hope is that i end up feeling about her how i felt about armin from aot at first. he annoyed me at one point, but it was only because he was out of his element. once he stepped into what he was supposed to be doing, he became one of my favorites and i rooted for him every step of the way. vi is already my favorite but that fact makes me irritated with the way they write her. but back to my hopes for her i hope it isnt like this forever. ive made posts about it before but i want her to realize that she cant please everyone and do what SHE thinks is best. i want her to do things for her own reasons. as far as her living in the shadows, i dont think it will be forever. she's literally piltovers enforcer and arcane is about how we get to that point. she'll probably wind up doing something that makes them see her as their hero like how jinx did with zaun. it could even be done the same way where she doesnt give a flying fuck about the city but it just happens that she did something that they found revolutionary anyway. we see her and ekko fighting noxus in the trailer and her carrying someone on her back while rushing away from noxian arrows, so maybe it has to do with that. but yea i just pray for her character this szn

this isnt as long as before but i just cannot stop thinking about this, why i dislike story and lore boils down to these main point
--the ending feels unsatisfying as hell even if i ignore everything i dont like about how the game treated zelda and ganondorf, the ending itself just feels, despite being presented as super epic an touching, incredibly empty to me and part of it is that it feels like an unearned return to status quo of course i didnt think zelda would stay a dragon and i actually wanted to help her, which is why i kept trying to hunt down impa since she said shes gonna search for a way for us to help zelda, bc i wanted to!! i was eager to help her!
i fully hoped and kinda expected that thered either be some kind of dragon dungeon (think, the water dragon from okami) tho that would be difficult since you can get items from her so i ended up thinking before going into the end thered be a mission with impa (or at least given to you from her) where she found answers in ancient scripts (that she told you she would look through) and that you need to find a special lil thing that will help zelda undragonfy, like some sort of ultra secret forbidden enigma stone able to reverse dragon transformations kinda deal (golden opportunity to make you go and talk to the yiga bc they might know or even own some ancient texts) that youd keep in your inventory until the very end and after you kill dragondorf (pretty mortal for becoming an immortal dragon huh) you take it out and use it, undragonfying zelda and ending in a similar epic falling and paralel to the beginning way
... and instead impa stays in the house and only has a few repeating dialog boxes and does nothing and you cant do anything bc in the end you just get randomly teleported (and stripped of your clothing AGAIN) into some weird ethereal plane somehow?? with the ghost of long ass dead sonia and apparently not as gone as i thought rauru (seriously i felt sad when he went poof at the end of the tutorial but i guess i shouldnt have) awkwardly blasting dragon zelda with some magic tm and its all reversed no problem (heck me for caring i guess) turns out helping her was killing an evil guy we never really knew and mineru just kinda says lol its bc time and light magic i guess lol as an explanation
like i really wanted to go and help zelda! i was motivated to do it and spent HOURS trying to find impa again but i wasnt allowed to do anything bc zelda gets saved by some deus ex machina bs in the end anyway, what a fool i was, of course killing the evil guy is the solution to everything >:( (and no i dont care if its meant as in uwu sonia and rauru wanted to help one last time uwu bc it doesnt change how unsatisfying it was to watch it all just kinda happen)
--point two is just how much totk feels like its trying to REPLACE botw instead of being a sequel, its not building on anything of it its ripping out the fundation and building its own thing in its place, like i was so excited to see what happened to the titans, and all the sheikah tech what they mabe had done in all that time now that theres a tech enthusiastic girl as the head of the monarchy, maybe even find out more about them and instead its just all ... gone with not explanation? theres isnt even a LAME explanation, its just gone?? you never find out what the ancient energy actually was, and why there were concentrations of it in the regions with the ancient furnace (well heck it didnt even have anything to do with ganondorf actualyl bc that would have been too interesting) bc that was so intrigueing?? like yeah where DID it come from and why is it there ?? and oh suddendly hey look theres an even MORE ancient and even MORE advanced civilization thats way COOLER and BETTER than the ancient sheikah now, they also built stuff everywhere and have been here ALL ALONG cant you see its everywhere!! and its the only thing everyone cares about all of the sudden, all evdidence of the ancient sheikah tech was scraped of the earth so there literally only being some guardian parts on top of the hateno lab feels like an oversight now bc everything lese was to thourohgly wiped of the map- for no reason even?? like im totalls fine with it being useless and not working anymore but .... why remove it like it was wiped from history?? and then they have the gall to mention the happenings of botw like, twice in the entire game but still just give you the most basic summary of it mentioned on a sidenote with again not even a hint what happened to all of it
wouldnt there have been the golden opportunity to use it to access the new parts and map points that changed?? like a shrine thats fallen into the underground, an access to caves and the underground in the broken and collapsed elevator tube of a sheikah srhine?? maybe even a broken interior of an old shrine, like the room you get put into with the puzzle and where the monk once were broken and half overgrown in the udnerground? some left over construction site where you can see oh thats how the ancient sheikah got all that tech underground, bc they all had access to it and built it there to then rise up when its needed? maybe even making use of the old sonau sites since they frequnetly built their srhines within those ruins?? that the ancient sheikah found em and put the ruins to use? to research it and built their own stuff from it? it wouldnt have to have any focus, literally just part of the enviroment even
really everything totk does is like -forget botw ever happend, look how much cooler and better i am, who cares about sheikah stuff sonau are the new cool guys that came out of nowhere but now apparently have been everywhere all along actually-
i LOVE botw and with it feeling much more like its attempting to replace botw instead of building its story and world further every reference to botw i found felt like a slap in the face instead, oh look where the shrine of life used to be isnt even a hint left of sheikah tech somehow, and also right under it is the lake of healing filled with sonau structure bc ACTUALLY they were here FIRST bc they are so cool omg you guys
dare i say it feel a little like they wanted to make an entirely different version of botw basically, but wanted to reuse the map and models so they just said yeah uhhhh its totally a sequel yeah yeha that makes sense, its not erasing botw and doing essentiall the same thing again but bigger cooler and better (tm) its just uuh a ...sequel ye.
#ganondoodles talks#totk spoilers#totk#sorry i got longer again#also what was calamtiy ganon then#if it was ganondorf trying to resurrect himself outside of the seal then ... wouldnt he ... mention it or something or anyoone no?#also dont like how all the teasers made it seem like there was soem great mystery as to how gan got down there-#.. actually how DID he get down there thats a pretty weird place to go to war too#-aynway and WHO did this to him omg he looks in pain maybe theres more to it alll omg#and then its just ... yeah cool guy tm sealed him#oh ... ok#why would you tease us with a good time then bring stale chips and an empty beer can you have brought with you three times before already#like i get we love to read more into stuff that isnt there#but they were oh so vageu with the teasers and stuff we got to see when its all just#the same schlok but even more tasteless than before

SoâŚTetro thoughts?
I've proven that if the Mod and Anonsonas were ever shoved into into a Killing Game of our own, I would be a early death because I would be like Koroko, wayyy too overpowered to be kept in.
As for the others spoilers so under the cut.
I was suspicious from Sasaki right from the start as I found her behaviour too sus and the way she organised people I was thinking she picked the most inapporiate people for each section.
I mean Hiroaki and Ojima in the Dining Room where there is blood and you know one has haemophobia and the other zones out? Yagami in the Storage room where you know he was too much of a simp to say no? Sounds like someone was covering her tracks up.
I didn't buy her lies one bit and Hiroaki got major props for actually managing to solve the case and get her as the culprit. I still feel annoyed that despite being used by Sasaki like that Yagami couldn't find it in his heart to blame her.
At least she didn't take actual advantage over him like I thought she did so there's that.
The executions really benefit from the audio format since due to the lack of visuals, the details can get gory and whatever you think would always be worse. And due to how lovely my brain is Sasaki's execution was expectionally graphic.
We do get some more insight into the masterminds that its some sort of Presevation Project-like experiment going on here. Me and @spyrkle4 were discussing in the chat if this was Team Danganronpa or if it was some Ultimate eugenics like BS. As while these guys don't see themselves as Ultimates the labcoats think they do, and having a eltist Talented vs. Talentless mindset isn't mutually exclusive to the Hope's Peak saga. I'm more towards the eugenic experiments as its very clear this might not be their first rodeo.
Poor Hiroaki though as he just wanted to ensure nobody died and yet everyone hates him now because they think he got the last laugh in. And Sasaki had a point that everyone was sleep deprived and she just snapped and it was Momomoko's fault there not her's. But of course Masterminds have their holier then thou mindset.
Either way this was a brutal first chapter and if this is what to expect, the second one will probably be even worse.

MORE TORY/EDWIN/BIG RED HC'S
(now featuring Kyler) (because the trailer and Reddit ruined my hopes for a decent arc for my girl)
- Tory was the last one to acknowledge Kyler as an actual friend, only after she saw his relationship with his dad first hand she made up her mind about him.
- After Kyler joined the group Edwin was slightly favoring him over Tory and Red, and that made those two get closer than they had ever been
- But Edwin stopped doing that when he realized it was happening and they're still a really close trio
- Tory and Red have a weird need to make Edwin feel included in everything they do, cause the in previous trio (Rickenberger, Big Red and Edwin), Ricken and Red were quite closer to each other than with him. When Tory joined and they became quartet things got even, but after Ricken left both feel the need to make him feel included with them.
- Edwin knows he deserves better than Kyler and he doesn't care, but Tory and Red care and threaten to murder Kyler if he wrongs Edwin pretty much every day
- Tory has a button up she got from Red, a T-shirt she got from Kyler and a hoodie she got from Edwin.
- Whenever she shows up wearing one them, the previous owner gets all smug and cocky. The others just accept that. (And maybe the one she wears the most is Red's and Edwin and Kyler are sick of his bs already but that's not the point ok?)
- Little Red has already joined them in some movie/game nights (against his will, dad forced him), ended up liking it, but hid this from everyone at Miyagi Fang (and the four of them) like he was fearing for his life
- Tory was the first person to notice Kenny's kinda crush on Devon. Edwin noticed Devon's kinda crush on Kenny. And now every time the four see them together Edwin or Kyler start singing "Sweet Home Alabama" (I shipp them and I will not be accepting criticism)
- Red plays with Tory's hair a lot. Edwin likes to braid her hair. Kyler is not allowed to touch her hair.
- Red is a master at hockey. Edwin plays the piano really well. Tory is an amazing skater obv. Kyler is surprisingly good in laser tag.
- That being said, Kyler is really shitty at hockey, Tory couldn't play the piano to save her life, Red is a terrible skater (in rollers) and Edwin hates laser tag.
- Red tried, failed and gave up teaching Kyler to play hockey. Edwin gave up teaching music to Tory. Tory succeed (the only one that did) in teaching Red skate in rollers. Kyler gave up trying to make Edwin enjoy laser tag
- They have duos (T/BR and E/K), but they mix them up sometimes (Ex: Tory and Edwin can cook and know their way in the kitchen, Kyler and Red are great gamers, Tory and Kyler have drinks knowledge, Red and Edwin love murder mystery stuff)
- Tory, Red and Edwin prefer Kreese over Silver (Though Red liked Kim a little). Kyler prefers Silver and they argue because of that (especially him and Tory)
- Edwin is the only one of them who has a good relationship with both of his parents (Red and his mom have issues because his brother is the golden child to her, but him and Little Red are mostly good. Kyler and his dad have a slightly toxic relationship. Tory doesn't "have" her father)
- Edwin's mom is, in fact, a maternal figure to Red, while his dad is one to Kyler, none of them are to Tory cause she had Kreese and her mom, but both really like her a lot
- Big Red, Edwin and Kyler LOVE to go the restaurant Tory works now (I like to think is an Italian restaurant) and the rink. She likes depending on the day they come and likes them better if they don't annoy her during her shifts
- One time Kyler forced them to go to a karaoke bar of some sort. four sang Livin' La Vida Loca (by Ricky Martin) together
- Robby doesn't really like hanging out with the three boys cause he feels they still want to kill him (they do), Tory always asks if he wants to hang out with them, even after realizing he usually denied, and he likes she keeps asking even knowing he'll say no. (The others HATE that she keeps asking)
#tory nichols#big red#edwin#kyler park#I'm not sure i should tag Robby Kreese and Kim#anyway#can season six give me them for real?#just one scene#one#I'm willing to get more crumbles#i already have no hope#but i will hold onto this hc for dear life

I saw someone else do this and now I want to share my opinion of this incredibly niche topic.
DRV3 cast as Homestuck God Tiers based on the attached diagram
Kaede Knight of Hope
Knights are both wielders and protectors of their class. Kaede's goal is to spark hope within everyone. Her memory keeps hope alive within Shuichi, and hope is her legacy.
Shuichi Prince of Void
Prince players destroy the concept of their aspect over time. When Shuichi starts the game he is the very embodiment of void, the absence of self. Over time he becomes more and more sure of himself, culminating in his dismantling of the entire game that brings nothing but misfortune and holds them all captive.
Rantaro Knight of Light
Another knight, like Kaede- but this time the aspect is light, knowledge. Rantaro fights to shed light on the situation they're in and within Rantaros' lore we unlock the final piece of information that Shuichi needs to solve the game. Rantaro is information, Knight of Light.
Ryoma Heir of Doom
One who inherits his own self-destruction. Doom is an aspect of sacrifice, illness, and over all bad vibes and Ryoma never pulls himself out of that ideology. To the very end he is his own misery, he is his own past.
Kirumi Sylph of Rage
Kirumi does not fail. (Usually) A Sylph has the power to take one thing and transform it into its opposite, and rage represents losing control. Failing. Falling. These are Kirumis' biggest fears, and her biggest downfall. As she attempts to change all the failures of the world, she loses control and the rage changes her instead.
Himiko Maid of Space
Himikos' talent of magic aligns perfectly with the space aspect, as this aspect is the closest thing to witchcraft the game has. Space players are very powerful and typically also quite reserved and distracted. Himiko is a faithful devotee to her beliefs and her sense of self. She blossoms throughout the game play and maintains a sense of home and belonging for Maki and Shuichi.
Angie Witch of Breath
Witches are very powerful and usually very unhinged, quirky individuals. The class allows one to manipulate or invert their aspect. Angie demonstrates this by seamlessly restricting everyone through her cult and her ideology hinges upon the idea that wanting freedom is selfish and wrong.
Tenko Maid of Breath
Contrary to Angie, the other breath player is one who values and encourages the aspect. Tenko is a faithful servant to the idea of freedom and always charges forward with her heart on her sleeve because of it. She inspires others around her to think for themselves and is generally just a very good and fair person. Her sense of maid allows her to relate to Himiko and want Himiko to open up more, while simultaneously putting her at odds with Angie who is actively working against that mind set.
Korekiyo Thief of Doom
Thief's take from one and give to another. Korekiyo spreads death and misfortune everywhere he goes in an attempt to gift his "true love" with that pain.
Miu Rouge of Light
Rouge are usually pretty wild-child in nature but have noble motivations. Light is information and assistance, and Mius main goals are to share her "incredible brain" with the world. She goes to extreme lengths all to make sure her inventions can help humanity.
Gonta Prince of Mind
The second prince, princes tend to hold a lot of weight in a story and are usually regarded as a critical point in a plot line. Gonta losing his memory, being persuaded by kokichi, and his general lack of knowledge on most common knowledge things lends him to the prince of mind role. His ignorance and selflessness causes his own downfall, and the story takes a huge leap from there as everyone is affected by this.
Kokichi Seer of Life
Starting off I knew I wanted Kokichi to be a seer, more than anyone else he has this ability to just look right through the other classmates. He cuts through BS like he's used to it and can easily see the core of who someone really is and what their intentions are. He senses when something is off and acts accordingly. Seer players are sarcastic, aloof, and play their cards close to the cuff. He may instinctively know a lot about the people he interacts with but you'd be pressed to get any of that information out of him.
Kaito Page of Heart
Kaito as a page of heart just makes sense. It's a passive roll and Kaito is a passive player. His murder was basically all someone else's idea down to the book of lines he was asked to read, and when faced with a real challenge he always folds. But, he also deeply believes in his friends and is a very sweet person. You want a Kaito type on your side, he will lift you up and encourage you to be the best version of you, no matter what.
Maki Heir of Blood
Aside from sounding cool AF, blood players are all about unity and keeping things together. At the start of the game Maki is a standoffish loner who believes she can never be truly close with anyone. Over the course of the game she strengthens her bonds so deeply, she falls in love, becomes Shuichis best friend, and is part of the surviving 3. Maki by the end of the game is the very embodiment of keeping everything together, as shown by her using the flashback light, attempting to rescue Kaito and even her offering to give everyone a quick and painless death.
Kiibo Mage of Mind
Unlike the coyness of a seer, mages are considered an active source of knowledge. And mind governs logic and consequences. Kiibo thinks more rationally than any other person in this game, he stays optimistic but also realistic. His critical thinking keeps him on track throughout the trials, and he is a very reliable source of information. His logical reasoning ability is what drives him to take action against the school itself, which proves effective in freeing the survivors.
Tsumugi Bard of Time
She destroys the time line. She also creates a new timeline, and then destroys everything in it.
I've ignored the gender discrimination.

Other than the genderswap twist what did you think of season 3? If you'd rather not talk about bridgerton feel free to ignore xx
All of it was a big no for me tbh
The leading couple was predictably boring and underwhelming as hell (which was expected), but the rest of the season felt super meh too.
Kate and Anthony coming and going instead of having an actual arc... to the point of having a heavily pregnant Kate undergoing a long and physically straining journey to India (and by the way no, this wasn't done to phase them out and explain their absence in season 4 because Simone has spoken about coming back next season. So they're literally having them doing express trips to a different continent in under 6 months for no reason). No baby Edmund even though there was time for the Featherington sisters children. Not even a pregnancy announcement to the Bridgerton family, just Violet and Lady D.
Benedictâs âvitalâ role of the season was apparently whoring around yet again, except this time he's completely forgotten about his art too?? Yâknow the one thing that's supposed to be central to his character arc??
Eloise was predictably robbed of any character growth and there wasn't even a proper resolution to her and Penelopeâs conflict. She just forgave her overnight for some reason?
The Whistledown reveal had 0 impact or consequences by the Queen even though last season we were led to believe things were so dire Penelope had absolutely no other choice but to out her best friend as a political radical and a fallen woman. We legit didn't even get a reaction by the Bridgerton family when they found out the girl they'd spent their lives treating like family was out there trashing them for years.
Cressidaâs arc was underwhelming to the extreme and she was once again reduced to a cartoonish villain for the sake of Penelope's redemption. I also think I officially reached my limit with the Cowper family after season 3 and I hope they don't turn out to be Sophie's family cause I've grown sick of them.
Other than the genderswap I'm not sure how I feel about Francescaâs overall characterisation this season? Yes, book!Frannie was supposed to be different from the rest of her family, in the sense that she wasn't as over-the-top, super dramatic as the rest of the Bridgertons, but she seems to have undergone a complete personality change in the show. Francesca is someone who had her boundaries but she was also easygoing and comfortable and witty around her family and loved ones. CVD gave us a glimpse of that with Rubyâs Francesca but Jess Brownell made her into a painfully shy and socially anxious individual. And that's just not her in the books. Compare her scene of playful banter and flirting with Michael in WHWW to her being practically tongue-tied when she met Michaela.
And of course the elephant in the room, which is her relationship with John. A season of building their love story reduced to Francesca being disappointed by their kiss and falling for another person on their wedding day...That's Jess Brownell's version of bisexuality? Cause frankly it's insulting.
Add to that the atrocious costumes and makeup that make the show feel less than a period drama and more like Hunger Games Capitol cosplay. The entire show just feels off, dull and tedious to get through.
That's not really what I signed up for back in season 1. And like, I see many people jumping to defend the show with the âbridgerton was never historically accurateâ argument but that's just bs. We know season 1 wasn't historically accurate! No one is asking for it to be a documentary. But it used to feel like a period drama. Through the costumes, the makeup, the dialogue, the world building. That's just not there anymore. The showrunner change is felt and since she's here for the long run I'm afraid the good days of the show are behind it.
I shudder to think what she's gonna do with Sophieâs character..

Apparently I have autism so now Kyoko has autism. Sorry I don't make the rules, I just enforce them
Assorted Kyoko headcanons below:
(Sorry for the double-bullet point formatting. Tumblr refuses to put Regular spaces between bullet points and it would be hard to read otherwise)
       Â
First of all Kyoko has no idea she has autism until she's an adult. I don't think her grandfather even considered it when she was younger
       Â
Since she lived with him since she was 6, her special interest is in detective work. She also genuinely loves mystery stories outside of that
       Â
Also she says sheâs secretly passionate about coffee, which she mustâve picked up from her grandfather. She probably has particular brands she prefers and has her own coffee maker because itâs her lifeblood, and can give a full analysis on whatever cup she tries if you ask
       Â
I canât confirm but it seems like Kyoko doesn't have any friends at the all-girls school outside of Yui in DRK when she's 13, so yeah. Probably kept to herself for most of her time in school as a kid because she wasn't encouraged to make friends, and her main focus was on becoming a detective
       Â
This definitely leads to her talking to everyone like they're an adult coworker, regardless of age
       Â
When she first joins Hopeâs Peak she barely speaks to anyone unless prompted to. Multiple students probably think Kyoko dislikes them because of that and how direct her responses can be, but she warms up to the rest of the class over the course of the months and some mandatory group activities
       Â
And she doesnât like small talk, like she says in-game. I feel like she was raised thinking there had to be a clear point to conversations, and gets actively frustrated/confused when people try to talk to her about meaningless things
       Â
Even though she came to Hopeâs Peak just to settle things with Jin, she avoids him like the plague and barely speaks to him the whole first year. Every time she considers it she realizes thatâs a lot of emotional baggage and does not know how to deal with it, so avoids it entirely instead. During the break she has more time to think and over the course of the second year, they're on speaking terms
       Â
She stims without really knowing it. When her hands are free she's either fiddling with her braid, her sleeves, or thumbing over the studs on her gloves. She also bounces her leg sometimes if she's working at her desk
       Â
And her hands. First of all in DRK it does say her nerves weren't damaged, luckily. But look with how scarred they still visibly are in DR1 and the fact that she was caught in a literal explosion I call BS. I imagine there's some permanent damage and the gloves help deal with the sensitivity
       Â
She probably deals with random pains and involuntary movements that get better over the years, but still deal with occasionally dropping/knocking over things
       Â
She can do most things fine, but writing can be difficult/painful. She still feels the need to take notes on anything important, so that doesn't stop her, but her handwriting is slightly hard to read unless she writes slowly. When she's older she probably figures out it's easier to use a computer
       Â
She hates any sort of loud or sudden noise. Just in general I think she loves being in silence and finds it comforting, but usually uses quiet music when sheâs working. (Once she gets her hands on some noise-canceling headphones tho⌠sheâll never take them off and you might never hear from her again)
       Â
She really likes the dark too. Like in her own house she would hardly have the lights on when she isnât reading or working bc she loves sitting in the void, itâs just relaxing
       Â
And she gets real attached to her personal belongings. She doesnât own much but keeps the things she gets forever. Gifts are like prized possessions to her. And even with things like her work shirts, she will be personally hurt if one of them gets stained or torn. As soon as she can fix it sheâll calm down but sheâs very protective of her stuff
       Â
She takes getting hurt or betrayed very seriously too. Even just opening up to someone is a big step, so if she trusts you and you break it the rejection sensitivity hurts bad. Sheâll get very upset and shut down emotionally, completely avoiding you until she can process her feelings (Like did u see how she treated Makoto for keeping one thing to himself once she didnât even wanna eat in the same room with him at breakfast)
       Â
She hates crowds and loud spaces, she finds them both overwhelming and irritating and will not hesitate to find a way to leave or step out for a while if she can. If she needs to sheâll endure them anyway but anyone who knows her does not expect her to stay long at most events
       Â
And she finds the heat unbearable. She will complain internally if it's anything above 80 degrees, and it probably makes wearing her gloves uncomfortable. (Also when Makoto mentions how humid it is in the garden room she immediately says it's pretty uncomfortable and leaves)
       Â
She loves the cold tho, like she actively enjoys snowy weather and looks forward to it every year. And in general she keeps her room at like icebox temperatures
       Â
She admits she likes plain cereal for breakfast already so⌠I donât need to elaborate. Kyoko probably has like five meal options she cycles between but basically still eats the same thing everyday. Especially if she lives on her own I think she has no idea how to cook beyond anything w basic instructions so sheâll buy 20 packs of something premade or microwaveable and hope itâll last her some weeks
       Â
Also Kyoko gets so offended when you ask if she likes cup ramen and she says the thought of it makes her ill so⌠probably certain kinds of tastes and smells she cannot handle(Edit: Like coriander. Whether that's cilantro or the spice is up to your imagination!). Like she mentions being sensitive to fragrances so perfumes probably give her a headache if theyâre too strong
       Â
And I think she does the thing of always looking like she frowning slightly about something, but not because sheâs upset, just because thereâs always some slightly uncomfortable sensation outside the comfort of her room. Either that or a blank stare, depending on her mood
Thats it. If you somehow made it to the end of the post, congrats and thank you for listening to my kyoko thoughts!
#this might just be an excuse to make a long kyoko post#but pls tell me u dont also see it. have u ever interacted with her in game#dr1#kyoko kirigiri#danganronpa#like just take a glance at her dialogue in school mode. she has the funniest reactions#fav one is when all makoto asks is if she know how to cook#and she not only assumes hes trying to use subtle manipulation tactics to get her to cook for him#she then lectures him on being honest bc thats more true to him. and thats the best choice??#like that conversation makes her the happiest?? what a weirdo#also great way to avoid the answer. love her tho

When the showrunners or directors have to explain the meaning of some scenes to the audience in interviews many times, it's not very good from the point of view of the script they wrote. Kind of lazy writing or something. And they did it twice this season at least, first when they had to explain that the kiss scene was non romantic and the second that the fight scene was with some hints of feelings between the characters. Although it is possible to write both scenes in a different way, but alas. I hope they will take their mistakes in the future.
Yeah, I completely agree. I hate being spoon fed by the narrative because I feel like I'm being taken for an idiot by the writers, but it's just as bad when we learn some stuff about the characters' feelings through the showrunners/directors, because the scenes failed to convey them.
Talking of the Elrondriel kiss, I just found out that the showrunners commented the reactions in an interview for Vanity Fair :
The backlash was that some fans didnât like that you were humanizing orcs? McKay: The idea that that would somehow feel like moral relativism, or that we're saying that Orcs are victims, which some folks saidâIt was shocking to us. We're like, "WhatâŚ?" It felt like not a big deal. The other [controversial] thing I would say is Galadriel, and Elrond, and the smoochies. For sure. Payne: The kiss! I was going to bring up the kiss, which was a way for him to sneak a tool to her to unshackle herself. But you guys had to know what you were doing there. You knew that you were going to stir up the fan base. McKay: No, we did not, not at all. We thought it was just a delightful way to show that he was sorry that he mistrusted her for so long, and he loved her, and he was going to have to leave her to her own fate. He needed to distract the room so that he could slip her a hope that maybe she could get out of there. A kiss means a different thing between elves. Thousands of years of friendship mean a different thing to elves. The idea that itâs shipping bait or we're trying to be controversial⌠To us it made perfect sense, but maybe that's the problem. Payne: If you look at the long game for where their relationships are going, Galadriel will eventually be Elrond's mother-in-law. It's slightly eyebrow-raising about the fact that they would've once kissed. It's all part of it. Stranger things have happened, man. McKay: It's like Leia kissing Luke. That's not outrageous, it's just that she's trying to make Han Solo jealous in that moment because Han's being a jerk to her. So, [Elrondâs kiss] came out of their friendship, and it came out of the needs of that moment. We did not think we were at all being controversial or stirring the pot.
I'm not even remotely surprised that they reduce the problem of the Elrondriel kiss to "it was a kiss on the lips", while the main problem is that the scene was deliberately shot as romantic, with even a romantic music playing in the background.
And it's actually very funny that they compare it with the Leia/Luke kiss, because the kiss in question can be easily used as an example of, "this is what you do when you want to show two friends kiss on the lips to deceive a third person".
I know that some Star Wars fans at the time started shipping Luke and Leia because of this kiss, but anyone with a bit of media literacy realized that the way it was filmed and played, it was really just that Leia was annoyed by Han being an ass, and wanted him to see she wasn't that interested in him since he kept bragging. She didn't fool most of the audience, because the kiss was not framed as romantic. But then it's George Lucas, he knows the difference between a platonic kiss and a romantic one, and he knows to do it right.
Also the idea that Elves just casually kiss their bffs on the lips is bs. We never saw it in the LOTR movies, and we didn't see it in the show either. And if it was that normal, why did Galadriel look stunned? I hope Elrond kisses a male buddy in season 3 now, so at least it will be show!canon that Elves kiss their friends on the lips to say goodbye. It's only fair, right?
And now I guess that Elrond kneeling in front of Galadriel and putting Nenya on her finger as if she was his fiancĂŠ shouldn't make raise an eyebrow either. It's just another thing that Elves do on a daily basis, I guess.
Tagging @apoloadonisandnarcissus because we talked a lot of that kiss ;)

Ok I see ppl on Tumblr talking Abt how much they liked the final episodes but honestly I was severely underwhelmed by the fionna and cake ending. If you don't want to see me just list out everything I like and dislike and why according to my arbitrary personal preferences scroll now.
The second half of the fight with scabby was meh and repetitive. At least the gumlee was cute. Fionna is still the bestest even if her final fight kinda sucked. I love her dearly and I hope she is living her best life.
The lack of Ooo Marceline in the end was literally so disappointing too I wish we could've seen her again at SOME point.
And just in general the ending felt really rushed, I feel like if they had some more episodes to work with it would've been a lot smoother.
Simons pov was just so severely underwhelming, it just felt like filler to me.
I literally didn't care if it was going to be happy or sad ending for Simon as long as it made me feel things like the last couple of episodes did but it just felt totally flat. It didn't really feel like an ending at all. I wouldn't even mind the breakup angle they took under normal circumstances if it wasn't for the fact he like. Literally spent 12 years basically being in a constant mental breakdown, and a thousand years before that subconsciously searching for her, and her literally driving herself to insanity and becoming golb to keep him safe, but wow suddenly everything's chill cuz he played a video game. Ok. Simon just realized that whoops he didn't always take Betty's feelings into account and they parted ways.
And I will repeat: I DO NOT MIND THE BREAK UP ANGLE. IT MAKES SENSE OBJECTIVELY. HOWEVER. IT FEELS LIKE THERE WAS LIKE. TWO MINUTES OF THOUGHT PUT INTO IT. DEFINITELY NOT SUPER HEARTSTRINGS PULLING TO ME. DO NOT GET IN MY COMMENTS BEING WELL ACTKULLY THIS IS JUST ME COMPLAINING ABOUT CARTOONS.
I liked the golbetty in the bus and the golbetty statue. I could bs something about them going their separate ways on a journey the other can't go on and insert trigun quote here about how the ticket to the future is always blank but I just really like golbetty. She's great shes monsterous she's perfect.
Just in general Simon and Betty felt off to me during the final episodes, I can't really put my finger on it but they just felt weird. I'm sure Betty's been doing a lot of thinking in the void and all but it still fell to the left of them I think. The whole time I was watching I was just like. Hm.
Edit: got it. Betty has always been wanting to keep Simon thinking about her. Always. With AI Betty head she flat out said "I knew it would drive you crazy but at least you'd always be thinking about me" and it's like a core thing she does stuff for the Dramatics. While you can argue she's been doing a lot of thinking in the void and matured because of it she's also been a goddess of CHAOS. If anything she's gonna go more loony rather than more mature.
Not to sound like a doomed crazy yuri enthusiast but there are literally no normal or healthy actions you can take after literally becoming a god for someone.
Maybe I'm just too committed to the bit but I'm a solid believer that if you start a weird fucked up path you gotta end on a weird fucked up note. Although the severe disappointment of nothing happening is probably the most fucked up thing they could do to me.
Ik it's supposed to be some sometimes life doesn't give you a tidy ending stuff but also this is fiction I get enough fuck yous like this from reality and ignored job applications I want my fuck yous from fiction to be not sadly vague. Or at least better written.
At least Simon's in therapy. About time.
And the little emoticons he's using in his phone. :)
Do feel free to put your own opinions in on whether you liked or disliked the ending just play nice đ¤
#i think i wouldve rather watched simon explode tbh#significantly more entertaining#fionna and cake#fionna and cake spoilers#petrigrof#fionna and cake episode 10#fionna and cake episode 9#im ignoring canon in my head theyre having crazy nightmare dream sex#also what was simon supposed to do about the bus flap his arms and fly to Australia

The Circle season 6 recapppp spoilers about the finale ahead!
I would've been sooo pissed if Paul didn't sacrifice themselves for Kyle. Like, obviously Paul was at the bottom and Kyle was higher up in the rankings, if Paul tried to stay even knowing that and hoping that Kyle would sacrifice himself? Nah, that would've been a load of BS. Mad respect that Caress made that decision and left the Circle in probably the best way possible.
Was a little shit that Paul threw Lauren under the bus though. I don't remember them flirting really - I remember super awkward conversations. Probably lost Lauren some points, at least with Kyle if not the whole Tres Fuegos.
Honestly I respect Liv for Blocking Myles. As much as I would've been annoyed that she took out the low hanging fruit by taking out Jordan, I would also have been happy if she took out Jordan - because he was fucking annoying. Dude was just too aggressive and half the fun of The Circle is seeing how people make connections without actually meeting face to face, not just throwing shade on everyone.
Sub-note on point 3 - I wouldn't have hated if she went after QT either. Hey, at least SOMEONE learned that when it's an anonymous block, they could take a big swing. You go girl (or guy, whatever, yay Brandon).
I felt so damn bad for Autumn. She didn't do anything and everyone made her feel so bad. I get that they were just playing the game and fired shots because she was an easy target as a new player and she really, in the grand scheme of things, shouldn't have taken any of their comments personally since obviously they hadn't had any time to get to know her. But I still felt bad for her. She seemed like a nice person and got booted out before she was even given a chance. But hey, that's the way it usually goes for people who don't get to start out at the very beginning.
I don't get why Jordan went SO HARD on Myles? Like, I guess he was a pretty big player when Jordan came in and had a lot of influence, but so did QT? And probably Kyle? And besides, influence comes and goes anyway usually as conversations go on. Like. Just. Chill my dude. You fucked it up for yourself from the start from being so aggressively attacking everyone. In public chat, no less.
Honestly, amazing job Liv. I was real confused in the first episode when everyone was like 'she's probably a catfish' and talking about how boring she was and then she got voted in the top two (I don't remember, was she first even???) It just seemed like everyone was hating on her in the beginning and then she worked magic and won it at the end. Great game, Brandon. And kept it pretty genuine, just a couple calculated moves that made all the difference.
Probably more things to talk about but this is enough of a text dump.
Oh oh oh oh one more thing. I'm so proud of Kyle for being like 'everyone thanked the super influencer except Liv. So Liv was probably the super influencer!' like yes, someone finally used their brain in this game. If Liv was playing a super calculated game she should've thrown in a comment somewhere in the middle being like 'thanks for saving me super secret influencer *heart emoji*' just to confuse anyone who analyzed the chat like Kyle did. SO anyway, good job Kyle, proud of you.

I NEED TO COMMIT TO A STORY TO WRITE BC NOW THE FIC IDEA OF A PJO/HADESTOWN REINCARNATION IS BACK TO PLAGUE ME
scatterbrained thoughts so i donât forget and to see if anyone else out there cares below the cut
like its the hadestown version of the myth bc 1. LOVE and 2. thereâs something just so funny about like hermes moonlighting on broadway for a bit w a whole musical ab one of his favorite and heart felt tragedies
also the lyrics âmaybe it will turn out this timeâ and all other ones along the lines of retelling it hoping it ends differently AND THEN IT ALL COMES BACKâ LIKE THEY REALLY DO REINCARNATE and it (maybe) works out this time on the road to hell, on the rail road line
the banter between hermes and apollo about how maybe hermes is better at his job and they should switch (he basically wrote a whole award winning musical and starred in it for years and then in a weird way prophesied that the tragic lovers would return)
apollo is not pleased
aphrodite squealing in the corner bc itâs just such an outlandish time-transcending love story, heart break, and reunion
percy just over this bs bc why is this his life
eurydice hermes kid ? like hermes feels bad âshe was a hungry young girlâ and all that, he does his best to be a good father this time to heal the ancient trauma she has AS WELL as his own for failing luke all those years
orpheus apollo kid? he was a musesâ son after all, and that poor boyâs workin on a soooong
also more hermes/apollo banter
idk godly parent subject to change (does eurydice even need one? what if sheâs just a clear-sighted mortal that hermes took under his wing this time)
eurydice is at yancy w percy not a rich kid tho, sheâs literally in like the same underdog position heâs in there
the monsters are after her too⌠but not bc sheâs a powerful demigod, sheâs supposed to be in hell⌠how the fck did she get out???
orpheus is at camp ?
eurydice gets beamed up to the underworld with sally
hades is just ??? like hmm⌠this one seems familiar, but he canât quite put his finger on why
then orpheus shows up later with percy and the gang and bros just like âoh no⌠fuck me, not this shit againâŚâ
idk all this is subject to change (or it might not happen at all) bc as entertaining as it would be, a lot doesnât make sense⌠like why would orpheus care and want to go on the quest bc he doesnât even know eurydice yet AND where would the story go after the first book??
also the fact this would be oc x oc, i mean i love those stories, but idk how others feel about them
i also thought about au-ing in percy as a orpheus so the would already be friends and stuff⌠but then that doesnât make sense bc of how blatant he is about being horrible at singing except when played by chris mccarell in the musical⌠mans can SING
all that and i also have a list of requests, a tumblr masterlist to fix the links on, the regulus book and the hunger games book to do (and a possible OTHER pjo book that i only really told to wifey @iknowyoureabigfan )
idk lemme know ig if this seems interesting, this thought has been rolling around in my head for years and all the bullet points just randomly came to me today
thatâs all ~ byeeee
#wow this was much longer than i thought#watch no oneâs going to see this#that would be kinda embarrassing#rambles#fic ideas#pjo imagine#percy jackson fanfic idea#hadestown au#hadestown imagine#pjo fanfiction

thoughts on todays volume ! FB is just playing in our faces with this narration (i swear this season must have been zodiac themed at some point , then scrapped for whatever reason)
and i didn't take screenshots of it so i'll just say it now: it's so funny that the "compatibility test" was just picking between two extremely obvious answers for OG LI or casa guy. i 100% preferred kyle's answers over jin's (seriously, whoopie cushions in the house ??) but i picked jin's anyways
like i predicted, MC already has to choose between claudia and bea (meanwhile, players interested in more than one guy have all the time in the world to graft ...đ)
there's really no point in taking the high ground here when talking to liam . like every other "antagonist" in this damn game, he won't remember us being nice to him and he'll act a fool regardless. of course i pushed him in the pool
claudia my loveee đ wlw players always get screwed over during casa amor , but i'm glad we at least had this conversation (as much as i love season 2, marisol could never)
i thought the new outfit was cute ... til i saw MC's body busting out the sides đ way to show that the plus sized body type is an afterthought, FB
i know bea had to twist, but i cannot believe she picked liam . just setting herself up for failure, especially since she's well aware he's playing her (not to mention he's not even a good drama source, he's just an annoying af offbrand hamish)
and to absolutely nobodyâs surprise, we have to twist. i picked kyle, but i wish we could make it clear itâs a friendship couple
not gonna lie, i'm curious about the "close your eyes and pick at random," ... but considering that FB can't code for beans, it probably selects the guy you picked the most amount of times
back in the villa, and this is the headturner ? i don't like calling pplâwell, charactersâugly , and that's not the problem anyways . she's giving mum, she's giving 1950s housewife, and she's only 23 ! FB, what the fuck were you thinking ??? and i don't mind her being with jin, i mind that we're gonna be forced into some rivalry with her over OG LI when i want claudia
hazel is so damn BEAUTIFUL though , i wish she was an LI đđđ (and her and hari look good together ! i hope they make it to the final)
we had a pool party, blah blah blah, liam starts drama during the game. bea acts appalled like she's not the one who brought him to the villa . everything kicks off ...
what is theo even talking about here ? being mad at MC for grafting on claudia is one thing, calling her a gameplayer when she is easily the most honest & upfront person in the villa is complete BS ... đđ it's even weirder because: if you've seen my other posts, i keep getting flirty dialogue with theo despite never flirting with him
they're definitely over now but i'd still be down for the throuple đ
