I don't think any of y'all watch The Circle but I am absolutely DYING at the episodes that dropped today. And the only people I know that watch it are coworkers so I gotta wait until tomorrow to really talk about it but oh my god. I gotta say this or I will explode. Under the cut to spare y'all:

Mad, mad respect for Caress for making the right move and sacrificing herself. She knew where she stood and she truly went out in the best possible way. I hope she finds nothing but blessings in her life.

I think the way the show is being edited is indicating that Kyle is gonna win it. I hope he does. He has been nothing but loyal and honest to everyone (aside from the fact he's married but that's no problem because Liv isn't exactly honest either)

I HATE Jordan. First of all, get your shoes off the bed wtf. You sleep there. I also get that he's good for tv or whatever because he's brings the drama but that is literally not what anyone likes about the circle. We like the genuine connections that people build in there. We like when the show is wholesome. And he came in and just decided Myles sucked and was manipulating everyone? Because what? People liked him? When he was going around lying about everything? That boy still has insecurities he hasn't fully worked through and is projecting that onto Myles.

I will be so sad if QT goes because she is genuinely such a good player. She's kind but also realistic and she keeps it real with her people that they're playing a game. I'm glad she left that influencer chat with Jordan because she was right. If she blocked anyone he wanted to block, she would look like she can't be trusted. She would be the next one gone. Because Jordan would have been safe since he was the secret influencer, he had no issues gunning for her people. And trying to tell her that her strategy is bad because she doesn't want to break every alliance she has in one fell swoop? He's dumb.

I hope Liv gets rid of Jordan but the smart move would be blocking QT and I honestly think QT would respect her for it. I don't know if QT would throw shade at Liv being a catfish or not though. That is if they make Liv block face to face which is what they've always done in the past so I don't see why they would stop now.

I am happy to see Liv makes it to the finals. I've been up and down with Liv but I do like her and think she deserves to be in the finals. Or he deserves it I guess. Go Brandon.

I want Kyle to win. Out of everyone left, I want him to win. Myles is my favorite but I think Kyle winning would be the sweetest moment.

Jordan can kiss my ass.

I do want Lauren to make it to the finals. I wish she had been in any other season cause I think the AI twist hurt her a lot and she would have been able to build actual connections with actual people which is what I watch the show for.

No seriously. Jordan makes me so mad. All he had to do was literally none of what he did. Why did he come in so nasty? Has he seen the show? Those people never win. Never.

I do feel bad for Autumn and I think if she had come in earlier and had a chance to talk to Myles they could have been friends. I do not know why I think this but I think they would have been friends.

Episode 11 first half thoughts :

1. Jordans the worst. Literally so annoying. He keeps talking about controlling the game but tbh no ones controlling anything. Myles and QT are smart and strategic, it's not their fault they've done a good job with strong alliances.

Plus dude wth r u trying to do? You're the one obsessed with control.

I swear everytime he speaks he sounds like those crazed " the earth is flat" or "vaccines cause autism" folks.

Like dude calm down. Y does it bother u so much that myles n QT r at the top? That's literally the whole point of the game?

And myles is shady from the first msg? Aren't u the one who chose to talk to him about the tea?? Ur the one who can't have a single conversation without trying to bring shade.

And lol u stupid if u think getting rid of myles would get u to win. Ur last, dead last Regardless. Olivia has come on top tons of times, so even if u take out myles and QT, we still have kyle and Olivia.

2. Lauren is annoying. Not like Jordan, but what pisses me off about her is that shes.. Stupid? Or atleast she's trying to be idk. She had a good thing going on in the start, I def thought she'd be a strong player but so far she hasn't managed to get anything done? Idk if she doing it on purpose , but this whole "oopsie I mwade a wittle mwistake, I didnt mean too act🥹" needs to go.

You're a gamer, a twitch streamer, how's ur strategy game so weak???

She has a nice vibe, and she seems like a genuinely good person, but she's just not bringing much to the game.

3. Myles, QT, Kyle and even Olivia are my top choices.

I would not be mad if any of them won tbh. Just not Jordan.

I really hope Olivia makes the right choice in the end. I'm gonna be so mad if she sends home myles.

Side note though, this season has def been interesting to watch. Season 5 was such a bore, I slipped to finale just to see the winner and end it.

So I love trashy reality TV and The Circle on Netflix is one of my absolute faves. If you have no idea what it's about, there's a wikipedia article for a quick overview!

Once his first round of the apartment is done, Tommy flops himself on the bed, the screen in front of him glowing gently with the "Welcome to the Circle!" still displayed. He rubbed his face quickly. "Right, I have to set up the profile," he sighed. He had to set up Abby's profile, specifically, as the welcome screen vanished and a generic blank profile appeared, Abby's name already listed. The choice to catfish as his ex-fiancée and current best friend had seemed obvious at the time — and the angle of "newly out gay man tests the waters by pretending to be his former (unwitting) beard" had probably nailed him his spot on the show — but now push was coming to shove. "'Age,' uh… '35,' you're welcome Abby. 'Profession, 911 dispatcher,' because I listened when you talked about your day. 'Relationship status, single. Bio…'" He hesitated, propping his chin on his hand. His goal, just like he'd said in the talking head he'd just finished recording, was to use just enough of Abby to pull a thin veneer of heterosexuality over his interactions. He wanted to be himself, finally, and ironically it turned out the way he was planning on doing that was by catfishing his way to a hundred thousand dollars. Sure. His life was weird enough that that might as well happen. "'911 dispatcher from Santa Barbara. The worst day of your life is my average Tuesday, but I'm right there at your side. Stepping out of my comfort zone and trying as many new things as I can, so here we are.' Uh. I guess this is where I put the hashtags, huh." He couldn't help his laugh. Nothing like social media, even a fake one, to remind him that he was officially in his thirties now. "'Hashtag spreading my wings, hashtag call me,' and then add a phone emoji, I guess?" He watched the words fill the screen, looking a lot more official than he felt. "And a picture to finish it all off. Circle, open my albums?" The screen shifted to show the albums he'd set up with Abby's help, pictures of her on vacations, with her mom, even a folder of the two of them. He resolutely ignored that one. "Circle, open the folder called 'Ocean waves'." The pictures in this one were Abby on the beach in various outfits, sun dresses and capris and even a bathing suit shot. "Open the middle picture, with the hat," he said, and a picture of Abby in a huge sun hat, grinning at the camera and sipping something bright pink with an umbrella in it. It was one of his favourite pictures of her, her smile lighting up her face, looking relaxed and bright. "Yeah, set that as my profile picture and lock it all in."

Nah, I’m sorry, I actually am incapable of shutting up, apparently.

Steffi was dealt a bad hand for The Circle. Sure, I can admit, she was firing shots at “Paul” - and when fired back, she cried. Yeah, that’s a her thing. (I have my opinions, but I’ll stay quiet on that.)

Yet the rest of the Circle saying she is AI because of her talking about Astrology when it’s part of her JOB was irritating. That her joke wasn’t funny so “obviously” she’s the AI. That her using words “only robots would know” it just…

Gods, I just feel for her on that. I know I’m similar in that I’m mouthy and use weird words, enjoy talking about things I know, and can get into my emotions more than I probably should(for better and worse).

Steffi is not nearly as terrible as the online presence is reacting to her, in my opinion. She’s just…human. Messy, occasionally hypocritical, but human. She tried, and failed on occasion, but HUMAN.

And if what I heard has happened(Currently on Episode 3, spoiled up to episode 6) then that just feels disappointing. I’d bet money Myles chose to get her out just based on him disliking her. He NEVER hesitated to be a rude dick, and all his comments just… 😑

He gets under my skin, and I do hope he doesn’t win.

So, there’s my rant! Take it or leave it, I’m getting it out.

I really feel like no one can fully blame Myles for suspecting Steffi because basically everyone was and for somewhat good reason? Except all of the reasons were based on the misinterpretation of AI lmao

Myles seems really nice

Lauren really talks like she knows she on camera, which makes sense considering she is (or was?) a streamer. Everyone else kinda talks like they’re just talking to themselves. 

You can TELL Steffi was pissed during her convo with Myles and ykw… I would be too lmao. 

There is NO WAY production doesn’t tell people what to say in their goodbye messages. I’ve thought this for a while, but it is SO obvious this season with Steffi and was super obvious last season.

The games are NOT as slick as the past seasons. Like come on… “poor-traits”… at least let people CHOOSE to be shady.
