So i made a fic off the idea i originally posted of rayla keeping her promise and killing callum w/ the extra heartbreak of her singing him that lullaby from s6 so here it is!! pls be nice this is my first time writing and im sure theres many mistakes 😅

“I’m sorry” 

She unsheathed her blade. The same blade she had once used to protect him. The same blade he had held to his heart when he thought he had lost her a second time. Now that same blade impaled through his heart, the very thing she loved. 

Everything was a blur, her eyes filled with tears as she fell to the ground where he now laid. No sounds came from him, not even screams. Terrified, she lifted his head to her to see if she could feel his breath and a wave of sorrow flowed over her when she felt nothing. She closed her eyes, begging for him to be breathing when she opened them. 

Then suddenly she felt a hand cup the side of her face and wipe away her flowing tears. She opened her eyes in surprise as she saw him. Really him, with his own eyes, the ones that she would always get lost in. He smiled up at her and she smiled back. 

“You did it.” he whispered, as that was all he could do. “You kept your promise.” 

“I did.” She said through sobs. “I’m not breaking any more.” She said with a laugh. “And I’m not leaving you, not this time, not again.” 

She saw as his smile grew as tears started to fill his eyes. Out of fear or happiness he couldn’t tell. 

Now it was her turn to wipe away his tears. They sat there for what seemed to be forever but in reality was only a few minutes, him in her arms holding him closer than they had ever been, as if she let go she would lose him. But she could feel it, his breath became shallow, his heartbeat slowing and she knew he wouldn’t have much time left. She nuzzled her face into his hair one last time taking in his smell. After some time she reluctantly pulled back to look at him. He looked back at her and smiled again. He always did that. Smiled. Always comforting her, holding her hand and making her feel special. Always making her feel happy. She would miss that. 

The tears started again. She couldn’t let his last memory of her be this. Not her like this. She closed her eyes and inhaled then exhaled, slowly.

She met his eyes and smiled. “I love you, Callum.” 

He smiled back. “I love you too, Rayla.” 

She held his head to hers and kissed him one last time, then put his head back down. 

“Close your eyes, Callum” And he did, leaning into her touch, holding her hand as she began to stroke his hair. 

She began. 

“Though the sky is dark tonight, I still shine for you my dear. The moon is more than just her light, I am near: my love is here” 

She felt his breath become slower again. She continued.

“Though you feel so much alone, Oh, my darling, do not fear.” 

Slower.

“Hold to what you’ve always known, I am near”

She felt his hand fall from hers.

“My love is here”

usually you were careful when it came to sex, ever since you got pregnant at the ripe age of fourteen from your foolish behaviour. having to abort that baby was hard, so of course, you made sure whenever you were intimate to take careful precautions. such as, birth control and condoms.

you were sure you wouldn’t find love again, after years of being alone. until you met matt. the curly headed brunette with a sense of humour no one else had.

it took you a while to be intimate, the first few times were amazing, protected and overal great memories until one time, you were both drunk. ended up having sex without precautions. and now your sat on the bathroom floor.

you opened the box of pregnancy tests, three emerged from the packaging. fear flooded your body. the possibility of being pregnant making you terrified.

tears emerged, letting them fall onto your thighs as you read the instructions. suddenly, it hit you. this was really happening. a 50/50 chance of your life changing forever.

you stood up, taking the lid off of all three pregnancy tests. somehow, you managed to hold all three beneath you, over the toilet. you did your buissness, making sure to hit the stick with your stream.

once finished, you put the caps back on and placed them on the counter. you fixed your clothing and began to wait patiently.

matt was out running errands for dinner, since the fridge had been rather empty. so you were alone, in one of the most awful states you’ve ever been in.

you began to cry, turning away from the tests. the results werent finalized yet so you tried to pull yourself together.

after three minutes, you got the courage to turn around. slowly, you turned around, glancing at all three tests. the two lines made it obvious, you were carrying a baby inside you.

you checked all three, immediate tears fall from your eyes. as if on cue, the bathroom door opened. you were sure he wouldn’ve been out longer.

matt’s eyes settled upon your shaken state before following your gaze to the three pregnancy tests. “uhm, w-what are those?” matt coughed, clearing his throat.

your throat ran dry, sobs leaving your lips. he pushed back his feelings and went to hug you. matt pulled you to his chest, his arms wrapped loosely around your waist.

“im sorry, im sorry..” you cried, body shaking intensely. your nails dug into his skin, as if trying to confirm he wouldn’t leave like the last situation.

matt licked his lips before pressing multiple kisses onto the top of your head. “it’s okay. m’ not mad, ‘promise.” matt mumbles, his voice promising. “you sure?” you murmured, pulling back.

he nodded, a smile displayed on his lips. “your pregnant, and im happy. but if this isn’t what you want, i understand. and im here to support.” matt spoke, his hands rubbing your elbows.

you cant help but smile, his words comforting you in ways you couldn’t describe. “c’mon, i got ingredients for french toast, your favourite.” he teased, taking your hand.

letting out a sigh of relief, you followed to the kitchen.

A goodbye post I guess?

Hey yall, i wanted to write something about all of this as this may be the last time I talk about this show. Apologies in advance, this will be long and all over the place cause im using this little essay to get it off my chest and help me calm down my anxiety. Strap in, this will be a doozy.

First off, no matter how sad and disappointed we are, let’s please not stoop down to the level of those fans when it comes to voicing our issues with this situation. Please, let’s not harass, call people names, send them threats, etc. we can voice our opinions in an adult way, and although it fucking hurts and it makes us want to shout from the rooftops and call Murphy, Minear and Stark every name in the sun, we need to be grown ups and come out on top of it.

That being said, I want to first acknowledge how fun and cool yall are. We endured A LOT of shit since april and all that bullshit didn’t stop you from keeping the positivity going. I applaud you all for that. It has been hard. I came in contact and became friends with some really nice people here and I wouldn’t change it for the world. I loved being a part of this fandom and it physically hurts me that this feels like it was all for nothing.

Even though I feel like a fool as well, I hate to see how you are all so sad with this. This wasn’t our fault. We were not naive for believing that this storyline could’ve been great. Don’t blame yourself for being taken advantage of. Because that’s what they did. They saw the opportunity to profit from a community and took it. They are the ones in the wrong. They used us for brownie points and then tossed us away like trash the second they got what they wanted. It’s on them.

What I’m about to say now will sound hypocritical as I’m writing this at 2am while trying to cope with an anxiety attack caused by this very show, but what we can take away from this is that unfortunately, we can’t rely on tv shows for happiness. Yes, that’s a bitter pill to swallow, specially in this political climate as we were hoping for some sort of escape from the horrors of the elections. What i took away from this is that I need to (for lack of a better word) touch grass. I need hobbies, I need friends. All things that I’ve been lacking because fandom stuff is easier. I need to find stuff that makes me happy that doesn’t depend on outside factors. But also I want to make sure that if a show is all you have, that’s okay and is even more okay to feel betrayed. I was an absolute mess a few years ago when a show I adored stabbed their fans in the back, but it gets better. You still get angry remembering you were done dirty but I promise that the memories that stick are the positive ones.

I don’t wanna go on a deleting spree but I also don’t want to be reminded of this hurtful moment as the wound is still fresh, so I’m deciding to reevaluate some things offline, like I did with previous fandoms, and come back when I’m ready. I don’t think I’ll leave tumblr or never watch/talk about 911 again but I need some time and space from it so I can feel better. I don’t want to doom scroll through the tags like I did tonight. What Ryan Murphy, Tim Minear and Oliver Stark did to us was awful, but the best thing I can do is not let these three men influence my mental health. I won’t let a tv show ruin me because it’s not my fault. It’s not our fault to believe that there were half decent people in the entertainment industry that cares about the portrayal of queer individuals. They will have to sleep at night with that knowledge and deal with the consequences from the BoBs. And if these guys decide to humor the BoBs that’s their funeral. It would further show they never cared about representation and just wanted to save face after making so many people miserable for simply enjoying a canon ship. I hope they can see the consequences because I’m not even the target here. I’m hurt for all the queer men that saw themselves in buck and tommy, that even messaged the actors thanking them for their honest portrayal.

In conclusion, here’s my goodbye (for now).

Okay, so my brain doesn't want to write, but it does want to do...whatever this is. These were all made in PowerPoint, built from scratch. The only thing I didn't make my own version of is the Cal picture on the last one.

This is the tab selection design. The one that says 'advanced' is taken in game. I was wondering what I could use this for, but then I realized it works well as a name plate! So my ao3 name and my tumblr name! this was the third thing I made

next are meditation circles! I couldn't decide which one I liked more. So first two are mine. The last is a reference I pulled from a search because I couldn't get a good angle in game. This was the fourth/last thing I made!

Next is the second thing I made! The data bank...cover cards? I don't know what to call them lol. There's another shape I'm tempted to try out, but I like these ones. First one is mine, second is taken in game.

Last but not least! the first thing I did. the tactical guide data cards. Technically the little icon on the right outside the card is supposed to be either an icon of the next entry or the cover icon for the next category so I didn't need it, but I couldn't resist.
